What they are rebelling against is order and hierarchy and authority. And so the enemy, when they're in their little homes, when they're rebellious teenagers, the enemy is dad. All of liberalism comes down to Screw you, dad.

Palestine can have independence from the state of Israel. Vietnam can have independence from the French. You can have independence from colonialism and imperialism. But you can't, you really can't have independence from God. It's not about Palestine. It's not about the police. It's not about the Sun Monster. That's really what it comes down to. And it's why I'm not on their side. I mean, I am on their side in that I wish what's good for them. But they have no idea what's good for them, as you can tell, because they can't.
