Whether you're renting or paying a mortgage, it's probably your biggest monthly expense and it can feel like it just disappears every month. But BILT is changing that. Those points can be redeemed toward things like flights with travel partners, Lyft rides, or purchases on Amazon.com Personally, I would redeem mine towards a little getaway. It's a great way to turn everyday expenses into rewards. But what really stands out is the neighborhood concierge. It can make restaurant reservations, book fitness classes, and help you discover new places in your area, all while you're earning rewards at over 45,000 partners. It's such a cool built in perk. It's simple. Being a renter and now owning a home is better with Bilt. My goal is to move more like taking a walk at lunch and meeting up with friends in the park, so comfortable feet are key. This gives me the perfect excuse to refresh my everyday essentials with bombas. Their sports socks make me feel like I'm walking on little clouds. They're cushioned in all the right places, super breathable, and they stay put. No slipping, no adjusting mid walk or run. And I've also got my eye on some BOMBA slides. They look lightweight and yet somehow really supportive. Perfect for running errands or just wearing around the house. Plus their underwears and tees. So soft, breathable and flexible. Just a huge upgrade from your usual basics. And I love this. For every item you buy, Bombas donates one to someone facing housing insecurity. Emily Couch (2:07)
welcome to the Moth. I'm Emily Couch and those absolutely adorable sounds you're hearing right now are from my cat, Potato. Say hi Potato. As you might be able to guess, I am a cat person. I was born into a family of four cats and two human parents. I'll let you guess who was more important I had no choice but to be a cat person. But that said, I have just continued to fall more and more in love with these fluffy little weirdos throughout my life. But even if you're not as enthusiastic about cats as I am, you have to admit they're interesting creatures. I mean, there's a reason cat videos dominate the Internet. So to celebrate both cats and cat people, we've got two stories all about cats. I know Potato is excited, or maybe she's just hungry. First up is David Rodriguez, who told this at a Berkeley story slam where the theme was Love Hurts. Here's David live at the Moth.
