Gone Fishin's continue with Andrew's "Troublemaker" group. These guys were or are are very soon will be deep tax teams....so they all must proceed with caution, and for those whose windows are closing, it's a lot harder with any draft capital. Teams covered: MIN, BOS, CLE, DET, and DEN. Enjoy ! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

More Gone Fishin's. This time Andrew and Adam take on some (expensive) playoff teams. Can any of them really run it back with their current rosters? Who will Andrew say needs to be cut and stretched? Does Adam like how any team's roster is set for the future? Tune in and Find out! Teams covered: POR, ATL, ORL, PHI, HOU and LAL. Enjoy! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Start spreading the news! The fat lady has sung, Hell (or is it Hell's Kitchen?) has finally frozen over, and the New York Knicks, led by an unflappable starting five and point guard Jalen Brunson, defeated the young, talented San Antonio Spurs to win the franchise's first NBA Championship in 53 years! I know what you're thinking: How did we get to this point with a second-round point guard leading the Knicks back to the top of the NBA? Adam Murray and Andrew Riche, THE NBA-Team, are here to deep dive a shockingly short but close NBA Finals with some twists, turns, and a ton of missed shots. Was this a good lesson for Victor Wembenyama in his first Finals appearance, and what was the actual lesson? Who will get a statue built in front of the Garden first between Brunson and O.G. Anunoby? Was all of the decades of suffering and big moves for Towns and Bridges worth at the end to get this banner? Riche and Adam also do their Gone Fishin' sessions for the Knicks, the Spurs and the Thunder and do a preview of the NBA Draft later this month. So suit up and take it out with the NBA-Team! Another round of Gone Fishin' time here at the NBA Team, and we're covering teams that are really all over the map. Teams who, in their mind, started the season with championship aspirations (GSW/LAC)to teams to had very little day one support (CHA/PHX).... And these teams were all over the power rankings map all season long....it's not hard to be jumbled in the middle when the basement dwellers are so far below, and the actual championship contenders were so far ahead. . . Teams covered are: MIL, DAL, GSW, CHA, MIA , TOR , LAC, PHX. Enjoy ! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

The countdown to extinction is almost over, as the NBA season has FINALLY (literally) come to its endgame with a kinda sorta predictable NBA Finals match up, but one that the league has been waited many years to advertise. It will be the Alien himself (generational superstar Victor Wembenyama, fresh off of dethroning the defending champion Thunder) as he leads the San Antonio Spurs against a talented, efficient machine in Jalen Brunson, Karl-Anthony Towns, OG Anunoby and the New York Knicks. Will we see a repeat of their last Finals showdown in 1999 and another monster Spur superstar will tower over all others, or will the Big Apple see their first NBA Championship since 1973? Does this Finals come down to the simple narrative of might over flight, or do the Knicks' surprisingly stout playoff defense have some tricks in store for Wemby and their physical guards? Find out here! So suit up and take it out, Finals-style, with the NBA-Team! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

It's that time of the year where Andrew and Adam quietly put the season to rest for the teams who either weren't good, didn't try, tried too hard to not be good, waited too long to blow up their team (or is still waiting muddling on the bottom to start the rebuild) or somewhere in between. Not wasting any time, they get right down to business and wrap it up for BKN, WAS, CHI, NO, SAC, UTA, IND, and MEM. Enjoy ! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

The NBA's version of the final four is all set and ready to roll it out to determine the Western and Eastern Conference Champions. While there are more have's than have not's in this second-to-last round of the NBA postseason, the four teams (or, at least, two of them) had their own share of adventures and volatility going into what might wind up being some highly competitive series. There is not a team in the league (no, not even the defending champions) playing better right now than Jalen Brunson, Karl-Anthony Towns and the New York Knicks, but can a shockinlgy resilient Cleveland Cavaliers team led by Donovan 'Spider' Mitchell create a tangled web for the Knicks to have to swat their way out of? The Thunder have been equally dominant on both ends, not losing once in the first two rounds, but now they face the one team that was their bugaboo in the regular season: Victor Wembenyama and a young, spunky San Antonio Spurs team. Can the now twice-crowned MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander solve the Wemby puzzle to move on to the Finals? All this and much more! So suit up and take it out Conference Finals style with the NBA-Team! In a special episode, THE NBA-Team (Adam Murray and Andrew Riche) live-watch the Super Bowl of tanking NBA Teams: The 2026 NBA Draft Lottery in all of its potentially conspicuous glory! While the tin-foil hat wearers like Andrew had less to discuss this year than the previous two years (when teams outside of the top ten chances won the top pick), there are quite a few fireworks. With the Washington Wizards winning their first number one overall pick since John Wall in 2010, is it time to do the Dougie again and just pick Darryn Peterson now or will they play a game of chicken with A.J. Dybantsa and the team that has coveted A.J. reportedly for years: The second overall Utah Jazz? Which teams karma-wise got punished and rewarded this year by the lottery gods (a.k.a. Adam Silver and Marc Tatum)? And will the new '3-2-1' format starting next year (which we explain) be as effective at preventing tanking as they intend for it to do so? All this and some NBA Playoff talk! So suit up and take it out with the NBA-Team! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

More B-B-B-B-B-Basketball!!! While that Roundball Rock theme song hits the ears of NBA fans this year like fine wine, what made the original NBA on NBC such a memorable time other than Michael Jordan and the John Tesh theme? Adam Murray and Andrew Riche, THE NBA-Team, have quite a few reasons to discuss in this countdown episode reminiscing about some great Association moments on the Peacock between 1990 and 2002. In part two, we finish off the top 10! Is there a possibility anyone BUT Michael Jordan's last shot in Utah was number one? How did a moment in the All Star Game make the list? REGGIE, REGGIE, and MORE REGGIE? Unfortunately for Knicks, yes. We discuss all this and much more in Part 2! So suit up your retro unis and take it out with THE NBA-Team! Hosted on Acast. After a first round that pretty much had it all (good, bad and whatever the Orlando Magic were doing), the NBA Playoffs moves on to round two. We see a lot of usual suspects and big market teams moving on, but will the road run out of pavement quickly or will we see more wackiness like we did in the previous round? Adam Murray and Andrew Riche, THE NBA-Team, are back in the lineup to discuss all four conference semi-final matchups. The Thunder and Spurs mowed down their competition in round one, but will we see a surprising challenge or two from the injury-depleted Lakers and Timberwolves, respectively? Two teams in the Eastern Conference did the rare comeback from being down 3 games to 1, but one was a surprise. Can the Philadelphia 76ers (led by Joel Embiid & Tyrese Maxey) pull off another upset against an offensively dominant New York Knicks squad? After coming back from the dead against Orlando, can the Detroit Pistons survive a much more potent scoring threat in the Cleveland Cavaliers? All this and more! So suit up and take it out in episode 390 with the NBA-Team! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
