My name is Mackenzie and I started a GoFundMe for the adoptive mother of a nonverbal autistic child. The mother had lost her job because she wasn't able to find adequate care for this autistic child. So she really needed some help with living expenses, paying some back bills. So I launched a GoFundMe to help support them during this crisis. And and we raised about $10,000 within just a couple of months. I think that the surprising thing was by telling a clear story and just like really being very clear about what we needed, we had some really generous donations from people who were really moved by the situation that this family was struggling with.

We have important developments right now regarding the war in Iran and America's allies response to what the United States continues to do in the Middle East. Switzerland has come out now and said we are banning all weapons exports to the United States of America, a significant development from an ally that needs to remain neutral. Switzerland will not provide any more weaponry to the United States for the duration of the war in Iran. It comes as Donald Trump is lashing out at NATO, calling NATO cowards. Trump voters coming out saying this isn't what we voted for. And now, in addition, it all comes after the chief. The United nations chief Antonio Gutierrez says that it is reasonable to suggest that the United States, Israel and Iran, all of the parties in this war, have committed war crimes by targeting energy, infrastructure and civilians. Today because it comes on an important day where nexstar and Tecna I've been talking about this merger for a long time. Well, there's a massive merger between nexstar and Tegna. Nexstar has come out saying that it is now the opponent to fake news. And Donald Trump has come out praising this massive media merger that will forever change local news.
D
I also want to thank FCC Chairman Brendan Carr, perhaps the most powerful man in this room. You are doing some job. He's trying to keep the fake news. He's trying to make the fake news real and respect it again, which is not an easy job. But you're doing a really amazing job. First time that's happened in 25 years. So I congratulate you and everybody in the room, everybody in this whole country is watching what you're doing and we
C
appreciate it by thanking Brendan Carr like that. The day after this massive merger went through, it is clear what the goal of this administration is to consolidate the media. That's why I urge you, if you can subscribe to my substack, click the link below. Support independent media. Support what we're building because it's important in this moment. And it comes as Switzerland today said that it would not issue licenses for companies to export weapons to the United States of America due to the ongoing war in Iran. Quote, the export of war material to countries involved in the international armed conflict with Iran cannot be authorized for the duration of the conflict. Exports of war material to the United States of America cannot currently be authorized. Last weekend, Switzerland said it had rejected two flyover requests on Iran related war flights, but permitted three others, also citing Switzerland's neutrality law. This is similar to what happened following the US led invasion of Iraq in 2003. Switzerland imposed bans on flights then over Swiss airspace and weapons exports to countries involved in the war. It later lifted those bans. On Friday, the government said that since the Israeli and US Strikes on Iran, no new licenses had been issued for exports of war material to the United States. It comes as Donald Trump continues to lash out at America's allies now calling NATO cowards. Without the usa, NATO is a paper tiger. Trump said they didn't want to join the fight to stop a nuclear powered Iran. Now that fight is militarily won with very little danger for them. They complain about the high oil prices they are forced to pay, but don't want to help open the Strait of Hormuz, a simple military maneuver that is the single reason for the high oil prices. So easy for them to do with so little risk. Cowards. And we will remember President Donald J. Trump. It also comes amid reports from Politico now that Russia offered to the United States a quid pro quo regarding the war in Iran. The offer was simple. Russia will stop providing intelligence to the Iranians, intelligence that the Iranians have been using to strike American troops in the region and American assets in the region, not just in Israel, but in Gulf states across the Middle East. In exchange, the United States will stop providing Ukraine with intelligence about Russian targets that Ukraine has used to strike inside Russia, deep inside Russia even. And so the United States rejected that proposal, that quid pro quo from the Russian government, but the Russian government, this is the biggest acknowledgement that the Russians are actively playing a large role in what is happening right now in the Middle east in the war in Iran. And what's interesting is that the United States actually rejected the offer. And it's clear that the United States, at least for now, continues its support for Ukraine by providing intelligence support to the Ukrainians as far as which targets to strike inside Russia. And when it comes as Trump is facing dire political straits right now, Americans who voted for the president of the United States say this isn't what we voted for. Take a listen to what one fisherman had to say regarding the ongoing war in Iran.
E
To my head because I voted Republican and most of us in the fishing industry did. And we're not seeing the positives come out of it. We've talked about no new wars and here we are in a new war. I'd just like to see something in the middle with common sense we really
C
doing there besides raising our prices. Make America great again. Make America. We're tearing America apart right now and it's sad because it's the working class people that are suffering the most. Florida fishermen right now are being hit with higher oil and gas prices due to the ongoing war in Iran. It is more expensive for them to buy fuel to buy oil for their boats because crude Oil is rising right now overseas, and the price of oil is set to rise even more. Even more because the United States may soon occupy and even take Kharg island, the crown jewel of Iran's oil programs. Here's what one Republican had to say regarding the possibility of US Forces being deployed on the ground to in and around Carg Island.
A
Consider the military taking over Kharg island, obviously that oil island that the president struck, which produces 90% of the oil for Iran. If, if the military were to go
B
there, would you consider that boots on the ground?
E
I think that people would see that as an occupation of a vital economic interest. I think what we I've always considered boots on the ground as a history teacher, is literally where we would occupy an entire country, one country, like we did after World War II in Japan, right? And so we all have a horrible taste in our mouth of what happened in Iraq. And I'm sure our current leadership has learned a lot of lessons for that. But we know 20% of all the oil in the world comes from that area. And that, interesting enough, it's actually China that relies more on that oil than we do. The good news in Japan and Japan. Correct. The other good news is that we're producing a heck of a lot more oil here in the United States. And now we have a friend, or at least a person we can work with in Venezuela to produce a lot more oil. So we're less dependent upon this part of the world.
C
It's a very interesting answer, tying Carg Island's potential occupation to the economic impacts of what is happening right now in the Middle east on American families, especially at the gas pump, where prices have now risen to over $3.90 a gallon of gas on average. And in many places. I've seen your messages. Some folks are paying more than $4, some close to even $5 a gallon of gas right now because of what is happening overseas. But it's not just gas prices. Food prices are set to rise sharply soon as well. More updates for you very soon. As always. Like comment, Share and subscribe and subscribe to my substack to build independent media. Host: Aaron Parnas
In this urgent episode, Aaron Parnas dissects a dramatic shift in international relations following Switzerland’s decision to halt all weapons exports to the United States amid the escalating war in Iran. The episode also explores President Trump’s increasingly antagonistic rhetoric toward NATO, disillusionment among some of his supporters, and the widening economic fallout at home—particularly rising oil and food prices. As always, Parnas frames the news within broader legal and geopolitical currents, while underscoring the importance of independent media.
