We have major developments this afternoon as it relates to Iran. The Iran deal that Donald Trump says we were close to eight days ago, it's fallen apart, no surprise, but it's happened again. Over the past several hours, Iranian semi official state media, Tasnim Media has come out and confirmed that the Iranian government will suspend all negotiations with the United States of America and will impose another closure of the Strait of Hormuz. Which means that your prices, your, your gas prices will continue to go up, potentially reaching as high as $5 a gallon of gas by the end of the month. But while we're here, the Iranian government says that a precondition to any ceasefire was Israel stopping its bombing of Lebanon, specifically southern Lebanon, where over 1 million people have currently been displaced as a result of Israel's bombing campaign. Israel has not stopped and instead has done the complete opposite and as a result talks have been suspended. I have the latest right now. Today, Iran semi official state media says that the immediate halt, that it will halt all message exchanges with the United States of America in protest against what it says Zionist crimes. When it says Zionist crimes it means Israel. The resolve of Iran's armed forces and all resistance front axis to respond to Zionist crimes and open new fronts. According to Tasnim News Agency, in light of the ongoing crimes of the Zionist regime once again referring to Israel in Lebanon and given that Lebanon was part of the ceasefire preconditions and now that this ceasefire has been violated on all fronts including Lebanon, the Iranian negotiating team is suspending, quote, discussions and exchanges of test texts through intermediaries. Goes on to say that the immediate halt to the aggressive and brutal operations of the Zionist regime's army in Gaza and Lebanon and the necessity of the regime's complete withdrawal from occupied areas in Lebanon have been emphasized by negotiators and Iranian officials. The resistance front and Iran have resolved to pursue the complete closure of the Strait of Hormuz and the activation of other fronts, including the Bab El Mandeb Strait as part of the agenda to punish their supporters, the Zionists and their supporters, referring to the United States of America and Israel. What's interesting though is just a few hours before this, Trump said this. Iran really wants to make a deal and it will be a good one for the United States and those that are with us, but don't the Democrats or the Democrats, he says, and various seemingly unpatriotic Republicans Understand that it is much tougher for me to properly do my job and negotiate when political hacks keep negatively chirping at levels never seen before over and over again. Eight days ago, the President of the United States told the American public on Truth Social, or rather nine days ago. Now, last weekend, he claimed that an Iran deal was imminent, that most of the points had already been negotiated, that they're hashing out this memorandum of understanding. Traffic choked the streets as residents fled the southern suburbs of Beirut on Monday after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered attacks on the hezboll controlled district. 61 year old Naji Musulmani, originally from southern Lebanon, told Reuters this was the third time he was displaced and was now headed north to Tripoli. In a video released Monday, Netanyahu said he'd instructed the military to hit what he called terrorist targets in Beirut. He also said the army would eliminate Hezbollah strongholds in the southern part of the country. Over the weekend, the Israeli military released footage showing its soldiers seizing the ruins of the 900-year-old Beaufort Castle, a stronghold built by crusaders overlooking southern Lebanon and northern Israel. Lebanese authorities say more than 3,370 people have been killed in the country as a result of Israeli attacks since March 2, when Hezbollah opened fire at Israel in support of Iran as it came under US Israeli attack. Israel says 24 of its soldiers and four civilians have been killed over the same period. Period. Israel has carved out a self declared security zone in southern Lebanon where it has been razing villages, saying it aims to shield northern Israel from Hezbollah militants embedded in civilian areas. The Lebanon war has been the deadliest spillover of the U. S Israeli conflict with Iran and has forced more than 1 million people to flee their homes, according to Lebanese authorities.
