My name is Mackenzie and I started a GoFundMe for the adoptive mother of a nonverbal autistic child. The mother had lost her job because she wasn't able to find adequate care for this autistic child. So she really needed some help with living expenses, paying some back bills. So I launched a GoFundMe to help support them during this crisis. And we raised about 10, $10,000 within just a couple of months. I think that the surprising thing was by telling a clear story and just like really being very clear about what we needed, we had some really generous donations from people who were really moved by the situation that this family was struggling with.

Melania Trump in the past 30 minutes gave a unannounced statement on Jeffrey Epstein. It was announced that she was going to give a statement. No one knew what it was about. No one knew why she was giving an address to the nation. And we now know why it had to do with the Epstein files. And, well, when I tell you, I was caught off guard. I was literally sitting at a haircut appointment getting a haircut and Melania listening to Melania Trump with my barber as she was cutting my hair. And we were Both stunned because the truth of the matter is Melania Trump out of nowhere just decided, you know what? We're going to talk about Jeffrey Epstein and we're going to talk about her lack of connection to Jeffrey Epstein. And she went on to call on Congress to allow the Epstein survivors to testify. Members of her Congress are already saying, you know what, heed her calls, let's do it, let's do it immediately. Chairman Comer, call a committee, get Epstein survivors, give them their day to testify. Something doesn't add up and I'm going to talk about it through the lens of a lawyer, through the lens of a journalist. I spent the last 20 minutes after this statement of sorts kind of thinking about this because something doesn't sit right with me. So if you can make sure to subscribe to my subset, click the link below. Like comment and share. The more you do, the more people see this. And please subscribe, click the link below to support my work. I've been talking with Epstein survivors lawyers already and I'm going to get you some more information as soon as we have it. But I want to take you to Melania Trump's statement because she began by talking about how she has nothing to do with Jeffrey Epstein. Take a listen.

The lies linking me with the disgraceful Jeffrey Epstein need to end today. The individuals lying about me are devoid of ethical standards, humility and respect. I do not object to their ignorance, but rather I reject their mean spirited attempts to defame my reputation. I never been friends with Epstein. Donald and I were invited to the same parties as Epstein from time to time since overlapping in social circles is common in New York City and Palm Beach. To be clear, I never had a relationship with Epstein or his accomplice Maxwell. My email reply to Maxwell cannot be cataracted as anything more than casual correspondence. My polite reply to her email doesn't amount to anything more than a tribal note. I am not Epstein's victim. Epstein did not introduce me to Donald Trump. I met my husband by chance at the New York city party in 1998. This initial encounter with my husband is documented in detail in my book Melania.
E
So something doesn't add up. A couple of things. Number one, here's the email she was referring to. I actually found this email back when the Epstein files were first released. I was the one who found it. It says, dear G, how are you? Nice story about JE and New York Mag. You look great on the picture. I know you are very busy flying over the world. How is Palm Beach? I cannot wait to go down. Give me a call when you're back in New York. She says this is just a friendly reply. Okay. You don't just do a friendly reply and ask to give a call back. That's number one. That's what stood out to me at the beginning. She's asking in this email and it's redacted on top. But I also reported a couple months ago that this was an email from Maxwell to Melania. I have their emails. I have the unredacted version of this. So if you're going to say that this was just like a friendly pleasantry, she actually asked Maxwell to call her. That means they've been in communication, right? That they've been talking. She's praising a story about Jeffrey Epstein in New York mag. She's praising her and doesn't seem as though this is out of the blue. This doesn't seem like it's a response to an email from Maxwell. This seems like a, hey, checking in right out of the blue. And it's because, I mean, Melania Trump, they have been photographed with Epstein and Maxwell repeatedly. But here is where today's press conference really took a turn. I want you to listen to this

moment about what you believe. These images and stories are completely false. I'm not a witness or a name witness in connection with any of Epstein's crimes. My name has never appeared in court documents, depositions, victim statements or FBI in interviews surrounding the Epstein matter. I have never had any knowledge of Epstein abuse of his victims. I was never involved in any capacity. I was not a participant, was never on Epstein's plane and never visited his private island. I have never been legally accused or convinced of a crime in connection with Epstein. Sex trafficking, abuse of minors and other repulsive behavior. The false smears about me from mean spirited and politically motivated individuals and entities looking to cause damage to my good name.
E
Canon came out of nowhere. Came out of nowhere. But listen to this one.
F
Now is the time for Congress to act. Epstein was not alone. Several prominent mill executives resigned from their powerful positions after this matter became widely politicized. Of course, this doesn't amount to guilt, but we still must work openly and transparently to uncover the truth. I call on Congress to provide the women who have been victimized by Epstein with a public hearing specifically centered around the survivors. Give these victims their opportunity to testify under oath.
E
Okay, so I'm going to talk about this from a journalistic perspective, but also from a legal perspective. From a journalistic perspective. Trump administration did a great job over the past three months. Making the American public forget about Epstein. From Maduro to Iran, starting wars, kidnapping leaders. They did everything they could to move the public on from Epstein. The media stopped talking about it, pretty much. So he did a great job. Now in the middle of a war with Iran, Melania Trump decides to give a random statement on Epstein. Two things are happening. Number one, a story is coming. That is possibility number one. And I don't know this for a fact, but possibility number one is that there is a story coming that the White House wants to get in front of, whether it's about the President, the First lady, whatever it is, they may want to get in front of it. Okay. Possibility number two, Melania Trump is just fed up. This has been nagging her for months. She doesn't want to keep talking about it. She. She kind of broke from the President and said, I want to do this, and I'm going to do this whether you like it or not. That's possibility number two from a legal perspective. I want to talk about her call on Congress to allow the survivors to testify. And already Congressman Robert Garcia says, you know what? We need a public hearing with the survivors. We encourage the chairman to respond to the First Lady's request immediately. Here's a couple problems with that. Number one, Congress isn't a forum for survivors of sex trafficking to testify. Department of justice is responsible to interview sex trafficking victims. Right. The FBI is. That is the proper forum. And you could. And I've worked with survivors in the past in the legal context, putting them in front of a public hearing if they want to go ahead. But doing a public hearing could only re traumatize them, especially if they're being questioned by Republican members of Congress who don't believe their stories. Number two, they're going to be testifying under oath. Okay. Problem with this is that several of these survivors actually took settlement payouts through Jeffrey Epstein's estate because of the horrors that he caused them. The estate and through multiple lawsuits, paid out millions and millions of dollars worth of settlements throughout the years. Many of these settlements actually included NDAs. And as part of the settlements, there's going to be some legal challenges in having to be able to talk about some of the abuses they endured over the years because of the NDAs and the other restrictions as part of these settlements. So in a way, it's setting up many of these survivors for failure because they may not even be able to testify even if they wanted to. Maybe the President knows that. Okay. And I think the third and final thing is, and something that just keeps eating at me is that to this day, Todd Blanche has not sat down with survivors. The Acting Attorney General Pam Bondi did not sit down with survivors. The Trump White House has not even offered to sit down with survivors. No one at the White House. I doubt survivors want to sit down with Trump given the fact that he has accusations against him. But it comes out of nowhere. It really does. To me, this could be a trap for the survivors, trap for the victims. This could be a way for Trump to try to throw this on Melania. Or they could be getting in front of something big. Date: April 9, 2026
In this episode of The Parnas Perspective, host Aaron Parnas reacts in real time to a bombshell, unannounced public statement from First Lady Melania Trump regarding her alleged connections to Jeffrey Epstein. Melania not only denies any relationship with Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell but also directly calls on Congress to allow Epstein survivors to publicly testify. Aaron unpacks the statement from both journalistic and legal angles, discusses the timing and implications, and questions the motivations behind the First Lady’s intervention.

Legal Realities of Congressional Testimony:
Further Complications:
The White House and the Justice Department have not meaningfully engaged with Epstein survivors.
Aaron speculates the maneuver could be a “trap” for survivors or a way for the administration to deflect from something else.
Parnas (11:35): “This could be a trap for the survivors, trap for the victims. This could be a way for Trump to try to throw this on Melania. Or they could be getting in front of something big.”
Aaron Parnas delivers a sharp, skeptical analysis of Melania Trump's sudden public statement calling for Congressional hearings on the Epstein case. While Melania flatly denies any substantive connection to Epstein and positions herself as a champion for victims, Aaron highlights inconsistencies and legal risks. He suggests the timing may not be coincidental and warns that the push for Congressional hearings could unintentionally, or intentionally, harm survivors due to legal entanglements and political motives. The episode is both a real-time reaction to breaking news and a nuanced critique of media, power, and survivor advocacy in the current political climate.
