See full terms@mintmobile.com we have significant developments this morning from Trump's more racist and Islamophobic posts overnight to Iran to the budget, Elon Musk and more. Overnight Donald Trump posted more Islamophobic and racist posts on his Truth Social I'm going to show you bits and pieces of them, but attacking Muslim Americans, specifically Somali Americans living in the United States of America. After his unhinged Easter Day morning post regarding Iran, the President continues to flame Islamophobia, flame the passions of those who do not like Muslim Americans and alienate Muslim Americans in the United States of America. And while as a journalist I refuse to stay silent, I refuse to normalize it, I refuse to sane wash it, I'm going to call it out because I have your support to be able to do this. Meanwhile, in Iran, Iran is rejecting any notion of a ceasefire right now. Any notion of reopening the Strait of Hormuz comes after a significant overnight bombing campaign which targeted Iran's top scientific and engineering university along with several petrochemical facilities throughout the country. We are nearing Donald Trump's self imposed deadline of Tuesday at 8pm One that he likely will push. He is speaking at 1pm today at a press conference and it comes after lawmakers and even now Republicans, former who served with Donald Trump, served in his administration, are calling for the 25th amendment for him to be removed from office. As always, make sure to like, comment, share and subscribe. Please consider subscribing to support my work by subscribing to my substack link below. I'm running on about two hours of sleep last night because my daughter does not know day from night. But it's okay, we're thriving and I'm going to be watching the 1pm press conference for you and summarizing it for you so that you don't have to as well. This morning Donald Trump posted this on his Truth Social the bottom is a video of Muslim Americans, specifically Muslim women, wearing hijabs walking around Mall of America In Minnesota, the top is a truth. So is a repost of a tweet saying, quote, this is literally the mall of American Minnesota. 85% of these people are on welfare. Now, this alone is Islamophobic and racist. It must be called out. But the lyrics to the video were from a song from Mad World, from Gary Jules. Hide my head I want to drown my sorrow no tomorrow, no tomorrow. The choice was meant to convey sadness and anger towards the presence of Muslim Americans living in the United States of America. This is what Donald Trump was doing overnight, just hours after his unhinged Easter post, where he threatened to attack civilian targets in Iran and then wrote praise be to Allah. Now, speaking of civilian targets, they were targeted overnight. This right here are the remnants of Sharif University, one of the top scientific and engineering universities, not just in Iran, but in the entire world. World. This university was targeted by bombing campaign. It's not fully clear whether it was by Israel or the United States of America. But in any. In any event, in any event, the bombing campaign was a serious one. As you can see, it drew the parts of the university down to complete rubble, and it's drawing mass condemnation today because since when are universities legitimate targets? As one Congresswoman Yasmin Ansari, who is only the second Iranian American congresswoman to serve, quote, sharif University is Iran's mit. They've produced a huge number of engineers who have gone to Silicon Valley and found some of the most successful American tech companies. Why are we bombing a university in a city of 10 million people? That is from Congresswoman Ansari. And it comes amid more chatter now from Donald Trump's own employees about invocation of the 25th Amendment. You have Anthony Scaramucci, who serves as Donald Trump's communications director, saying, it was at this point that our founders thought the best thing to do would be to remove a madman who has the executive office. It became more formalized with the 25th Amendment, but more people now should be calling for this man's removal. You have former Republican Congressman Joe Walsh saying his Easter morning post, and just two days ago, one of his religious advisors compared him to Jesus Christ. He will forever be a stain on this country, in the world. 25th amendment now. And to everyone else who, unlike Trump, understands and celebrates today, Happy Easter. Congresswoman Melanie Stansbury, Democrat from New Mexico. The emperor has no clothes. Time for the 25th Amendment. Congress and the Cabinet must act. This is where we're at right now. This is where we're at, and it's very serious. You have lawmakers calling for the 25th amendment. You have Trump's own people calling for the 25th amendment. It's serious. All right, we are back. Sorry for the quick delay there. My daughter started crying and I had to go feed her while I. While my wife was asleep. So we're back. Here's the 25th Amendment conversation that we were talking about. I do want to run through some of the other news that you may have missed overnight, because I think there are a lot of important stories that we should talk about, so we will. Iran is rejecting Donald Trump's ceasefire, Right? Completely rejecting it. Donald Trump has put forth a. Asked Iran for a temporary ceasefire in exchange for reopening the Strait of Hormuz. Iran says no, and instead, Iran has taken to social media and has continued to troll the president. Iranian embassies in South Africa, in Pakistan and elsewhere around the world are posting videos and other images trolling the President of the United States. And I think we're at an interesting point in this war, right. Iran knows that it can continue, truly, as long as it needs to. Right. No matter how many bombings the Trump administration conducts or Israel conducts, intelligence suggests that Iran is just simply rebuilding it. Right. If the United States targets a ballistic missile silo or facility in Iran, what's happening is Iranians are just cleaning it up and quickly rebuilding it within hours or days. It's quick. And they have the capability to do that. They have a lot of people, they have a giant military. They're able to do it. Are they, quote, unquote, winning this war militarily? Probably not just because they don't have the capabilities, but in the court of public opinion, in a lot of ways, they are. Approval rating for the President of the United States here in America is at an all time low, nearing the 20% mark. Right. Most Americans don't approve of this war. Most world leaders don't approve of this war. America's allies aren't willing to get involved. Thus far, it's just been an Israeli and United States war, and both are pariahs on the international stage. And so here, here you are. So if you're looking at it from Iran's perspective, Iran's saying we either give us everything we want, which is essentially reparations, pay for all the damage you caused and a complete ceasefire, and leave this alone, or we're not going to do. We're not going to see to your demands. I get it. It's a negotiating position now. They're gonna. They may force Donald Trump to follow through on his threat of obliterating the entire country. But that would just make Donald Trump even worse. That would be a war crime, war criminal, much worse. And I don't think they think that Donald Trump is willing to do that. They think that Donald Trump is going to back out because he has backed out every single time before. So I'll have more updates for you soon, but it's an interesting kind of perspective of where we're at right now. As always, like Comment, share and subscribe subscribe to my substack.
