We have stunning breaking developments this afternoon. Four Republicans have broken from the President of the United States. The House of Representatives, controlled by the Republican Party, has passed a war Powers Resolution to rein in Donald Trump's illegal war in Iran. The United States Senate previously advanced a similar resolution. Now the House of Representatives, under Speaker Mike Johnson, in a significant rebuke to the President of the United States, has passed a War Powers resolution. It comes as Donald Trump and the White House are actively trying to shut down and restrict media in the United States of America. From CBS to cnn, there is an urgent warning tonight from the President. CBS was first. CNN is next. Independent media has never been so important. So if you can please subscribe to my substack link below to support my work. Like Comment Share get the word out. We are building something bigger and something better at a time where many of these media companies are caving to the White House for access. Access. Journalism is something I will never do and apologies for my disheveled look. My daughter was vaccinated today. We are a pro science household and a two month old getting vaccines. If anyone knows that, if anyone's a parent, it could be a little rough. And it's been a bit of a rough day. But I do have the news for you right now. Minutes ago, the House of Representatives has passed a war powers resolution to rein in Donald Trump's illegal war in Iran. Four Republicans voted with Democrats to pass the resolution. Congressman Warren Davidson, Thomas Massie, Tom Barrett, Brian Fitzpatrick. Many of these members of Congress are located in swing districts, but not all. Brian Fitzpatrick in Pennsylvania is in a swing district. Tom Barrett in Michigan is in a swing district. Davidson is not Massey is not the Massey is on his way out of Congress after the President of the United States spent $30 million alongside special interest groups like APAC, crypto and AI to oust him. But that's not the only problem the President has this evening. Because right now the FISA extension, the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance act, to be able to use FISA to go after essentially intelligence cables to review people's text messages, phone calls with foreign actors. Well, here's the thing right now, Mark Warner, Democratic Senator, has told John Thune to get Bill Pulte removed as a director of national intelligence if he's in the job. In nine days time when FISA expires, Democrats will withhold their votes for fisa. FISA is now at real risk of expiring due to Trump's decision to put Pulte in as a director of national intelligence. Now, Donald Trump this afternoon held an impromptu executive order signing ceremony after being not seen in a public setting for about eight days. And he decided to lash out at CNN suggesting that after what we saw with CBS and Scott Pelley, CNN could be next.

the $1.8 billion DOJ fund dead or is it on hold?
Donald Trump
It's. I'd have to ask the lawyers. I don't know. I know one thing. The weaponization. Are you talking about the weaponization fund?
News Panel Moderator
Yeah.
Shopify Advertiser
What's your decision?
Donald Trump
The weaponization fund, as far as I'm concerned, was a beautiful thing. It was something. I was. I didn't make it, but I was. I heard that. I thought that was the greatest thing. Because people like you have abused our people so badly. The fake news, like cnn, like the New York Times and like others have abused our people. Wait a minute. Be quiet. Have abused our people so badly. And you should be ashamed of yourself. You used to be a conservative. She was a conservative from Alabama. Can you believe it? But CNN in particular, CNN does such false reporting. But now they have new ownership. So maybe it'll straighten it out. I doubt it. But it's hard to straighten garbage out. But CNN has abused and others have

abused so badly, now they have new ownership. It'll get straightened out. That's the president's message tonight. It comes after what happened at CBS with Scott Pelley. Take a listen.
News Panel Moderator
Here to discuss our first panel is former CBS News justice correspondent Scott McFarlane and Terry Moran, former ABC News chief White House correspondent. Scott, let me start with you. You work with Scott Pelley. You work at CBS News. Are you surprised by how some of this went down? What do you think is going on here? Nobody wins. If 60 minutes is damaged through this. Nobody wins. It's still one of those rare media entities, Jake, that can cut through the noise and cut through the Clutter. Scott Pelly was, I think, the living Mount Rushmore at CBS News. When we worked together. I mean, I wasn't called Scott in the office. I was called Scotty Mac McFarlane or hey, you come over here. Because Scott Pelley was Scott. That's the reverence with which he was held at CBS News. I'm surprised that anybody would get rid of a transcendent personality who can attract an audience or who is associated with the strength of a brand. You watch Scott Pelley on 60 Minutes. You knew you were going to get a comprehensive report. You never want to damage a brand by getting rid of the pillar of the entity. But there's some good news for the show and for cbs. The new product, whatever it looks like, whatever it sounds like in September will be sampled, still comes on after NFL football. It still has tens of millions of people who will, if nothing else, trip into watching the show because it comes on after Patrick Mahomes. They have a big responsibility to make sure it does not become the new Coke or the crystal Pepsi of 60 Minutes.

So, Terry, pretty, pretty big words from Scott McFarlane this afternoon. Donald Trump's impromptu press conference didn't dispel many of the concerns about the president's health because here's what he decided to talk about today,

getting a first glimpse. But that's your size compared. So those are compared to those are among the tallest buildings in the world, including the Empire State Building, World Trade Center, Sears Tower, Chicago. So if you lay it on its side, you take two or three of them to fill it in because the width is very almost 200ft wide.

That's what the president is talking about this evening. And it comes as his family is facing mass protests in Albania right now, where Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner are planning on constructing a massive complex of sorts in Albania. They're facing protests right now on the streets. Hundreds of thousands of people have taken to the streets in Albania. And yet here we are in the United States of America. There is some concern over the future of livestock right now. A case of the screw worm may have been now detected in South Texas. The sample is now at the USDA's National Veterinary Veterinary Services Laboratories in Ames, Iowa, for confirmatory testing. We will provide updates the moment results are available. We have already activated personnel on the ground and are working with local partners, which you can expect from us is transparency, candor. And most important action comes, as many say, that the federal government has been behind the eight ball on the screw worm, which could kill off a lot of livestock in the United States of America and drive prices up pretty quickly. So that's the news right now. We'll see if I have another update this evening or not, but if you can, please subscribe to my substack link below to support my work to help build independent media to do something different. I know I ask a lot, but it's because I don't rely on the big corporate sponsors that CBS or CNN have. I rely on you.
