Five alarm fire. That's how some senior Republicans are describing the state of the Trump administration today as New polling has Donald Trump closer to just a 20 under 30% approval rating, the lowest, lowest approval rating of his term. He has hit another low, coming in at just 33% approval, nearing the 20s. That would be historic for any president, especially in an election year. It comes as there is a shifting narrative. For the first time, the American public believes that President Biden, former president, did better on the economy than Donald Trump. All while the army is now investigating how army helicopters decided to a vanity show at Kid Rock's home. Lindsey Graham was caught by TMZ with the bubble wand at Disney World during the government shutdown. And Caroline Levitt, the White House press secretary, was pressed on the war in Iran and didn't give great answers. As always, like comment, share and subscribe. The people who want me to stop, we never will. I do want to jump right in and talk about where we are as a nation because the American public is ready to rebuke the President of the United States in ways we have not seen before. New polling released today shows Donald Trump underwater. He is underwater with voters across the political spectrum. He is underwater among young men, women and more. New polling has Donald Trump at just 33% approval rating. That is the lowest approval rating of either the first or second term on immigration, jobs, tariffs, inflation, Iran. His approval rating is in the negative and severely in the negative. It is leading some like Megyn Kelly to say this is a five alarm fire. For the love of all that is holy, we need to get out of Iran and work full time on people's financial worries. Because if you look at who believes the economy, or rather was the economy better under Trump or Biden, 53% say better under Biden, 47% say better under Trump, 27% of Republicans believe that the economy was better under Joe Biden, a monumental shift considering the fact that Joe Biden's legacy really would be defined as the legacy that kind of gave a presidency to the Trump administration because the Biden administration didn't do a good enough job in explaining the economy, explaining why prices were high, what they were doing, et cetera. One of the reasons Donald Trump won was because of the economy, and yet now many seem to have buyer's remorse. It comes as there was an incident at no Kings Day over the weekend. Army helicopters flew dangerously low to protesters in an effort to intimidate protesters, and then they proceeded to fly to Kid Rock's personal home. Take a. That is a real video of an army helicopter at Kid Rock's personal home in Nashville. United States army has launched an investigation this evening into how this could have happened, why it happened, and who at the army allowed this vanity display to occur. Comes as Caroline Levitt was pressed today during the White House press briefing on all things Iran and more. Take a Listen, posted this morning about

his threat that on leaving Iran, he said we might blowing up and completely obliterating all of their electric generating plants, oil wells, Harg island, and possibly all desalinization plans. Under international law, striking civilian infrastructure like that is generally prohibited. Why is the president threatening what would amount to potentially a war crime with the US Military, and how do you square that with the administration repeatedly saying that the U.S. does not target civilians?
White House Press Secretary
Ms. Look, the President has made it quite clear to the Iranian regime at this moment in time, as evidenced by the statement that you just read, that their best move is to make a deal or else. The United States armed forces has capabilities beyond their wildest imagination, and the president is not afraid to use them. Ms. That's not what I said, Garrett, and you're saying the word potential for a reason because I'm sure some experts are telling you that in your ear to try to ask me that question. Of course, this administration and the United States armed forces will always act within the confines of the law. But with respect to achieving the full objectives of Operation Epic Fury, President Trump is going to move forward unabated, and he expects the Iranian regime to make a deal with the administration.
Political Commentator
But that's not all. She also talked about negotiating with this deal with the Iran regime, but who's who are they negotiating with and says more reasonable.
White House Press Secretary
Again, these folks are appearing more reasonable behind the scenes privately in these conversations than perhaps some of the previous leaders who are now no longer on Planet Earth because they lied to the United States and they strung us along in negotiations. And that was unacceptable to the President, which is why many of the previous leaders were killed. So again, this is another historic opportunity for Iran to do the right thing.
Political Commentator
That's not all. Take a listen to this. Since you mentioned.
Reporter
I'll go to you as well. Since you mentioned Easter and prayers, I wanted to ask you about something the Pope said yesterday. So Pope Leo said yesterday, and I quote him, God does not listen to the prayer of those who wage war. Can you comment on that?
White House Press Secretary
I think our nation was A nation founded 250 years ago almost on Judeo Christian values. And we've seen presidents, we've seen the leaders of the Department of War, and we've seen our troops go to prayer during the most turbulent times in our nation's history. And I don't think there's anything wrong with our military leaders or with the President calling on the American people to pray for our service members in the those who are serving our country overseas. In fact, I think it's a very noble thing to do. And if you talk to many service members, they will tell you they appreciate the prayers and support from the commander in Chief and from his cabinet.

And if you want to know how things are going here at home, here's what Secretary of education Linda McMahon had to say.
Secretary of Education
I'm excited to have this conversation because you bring so much sunshine to a topic that's been kind of tough. First of all, tell us where we are with where kids are doing. And just scholastically in the country, we're doing terribly. I mean, our education systems failed, our kids. The latest NAEP scores, which were released just after the president took office. And that's the national report card. Only about 30% of high schools and 8th graders can read proficiently or do math proficiently. Think about that. Public schools across the country, only about 30%. Some places 35%. But it's just terrible.
Political Commentator
If you want to know whose job it is to make sure that that changes, it would be none other than the Secretary of Education. And yet here we are. So that's where we're at this evening. Podcast: The Parnas Perspective
Host: Aaron Parnas
Date: March 30, 2026
In this incisive episode, Aaron Parnas unpacks the mounting alarm within the Republican Party as Donald Trump’s polling plummets to historic lows. The episode explores shifting public perceptions about Trump and Biden, turmoil within the current administration, odd headlines (including a bizarre Army chopper incident at Kid Rock's home), shaky responses to international crises, and blunt criticism of the state of American education. Parnas provides both commentary and significant soundbites that illuminate a national mood on the cusp of political change.
Five-alarm fire: Senior Republicans are reportedly describing the situation as a “five-alarm fire” due to Trump’s approval rating plummeting to near or below 30%.
Historic low polling: Trump sits at 33% approval, potentially dropping into the 20s—historically low, especially in an election year.
Public opinion shift: For the first time, polling indicates Americans now view Biden as having handled the economy better than Trump.

27% of Republicans now believe the economy was better under Biden—a seismic shift against Trump’s core 2016/2020 appeal.

Megyn Kelly and other conservative voices are warning of catastrophic prospects unless Trump’s administration pivots away from foreign adventurism and back to economic issues.
Army helicopters used to intimidate protesters at a “no Kings Day” event, then flew a vanity lap to Kid Rock’s house in Nashville. The U.S. Army has launched an internal investigation.

White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt faced tough questions about threats to target civilian infrastructure in Iran, a potential violation of international law.
“Why is the president threatening what would amount to potentially a war crime with the US Military, and how do you square that with the administration repeatedly saying that the U.S. does not target civilians?” — Journalist/Reporter, [04:43]
Caroline Levitt insisted:
“Of course, this administration and the United States armed forces will always act within the confines of the law. But with respect to achieving the full objectives of Operation Epic Fury, President Trump is going to move forward unabated.” — Caroline Levitt, [05:17]
On negotiations with Iran’s new leadership:
“These folks are appearing more reasonable behind the scenes…than perhaps some of the previous leaders who are now no longer on planet Earth…which is why many of the previous leaders were killed.” — Caroline Levitt, [06:04]
When asked about the Pope’s comments against war:
“I don’t think there’s anything wrong with our military leaders or with the President calling on the American people to pray…if you talk to many service members, they will tell you they appreciate the prayers and support from the commander in Chief…” — Caroline Levitt, [06:46]
Secretary of Education Linda McMahon says the U.S. is doing “terribly” on education metrics:
“Our education systems failed, our kids... Only about 30% of high schools and 8th graders can read proficiently or do math proficiently. Think about that.” — Linda McMahon, [07:43]
Parnas contextualizes this as another sign of institutional crisis within the administration’s own ranks.
“Five alarm fire.”
This phrase recurs as a motif, encapsulating conservative panic about Trump’s possible electoral wipeout.
