major developments this afternoon. The United States Pentagon is lying to you and I'm not the one to tell you. Service members are active duty Service members are speaking out, saying that the United States Pentagon is lying to the American public about the deadliest attack by Iran on US Forces since the start of the war in Iran. A significant development this afternoon as service members are becoming frustrated with Pete Hegseth's leadership, or rather lack thereof, and I have the latest right now. Make sure to subscribe to my substack. Click the link below to support my work as I face threats for even reporting things like this. Like comment share because the more you do, the more people see and well folks, the people need to know that the United States Pentagon is lying to them. And it's not surprising that the Pentagon is lying because the Pentagon wants to minimize the amount of bad reporting coming out regarding its operations in Iran. But now, when you have US Service members coming out and saying this is simply not true, that is a significant development and could eventually spell the end of Pete Hegseth's tenure as Secretary of Defense if this continues. New reporting from CBS shows that survivors of the deadliest Iranian attack on US Forces since the war began are now disputing the Pentagon's description of events and said that their unit in Kuwait was left dangerously exposed when six service members were killed, more than 20 others wounded. They're speaking publicly for the first time anonymously due to US Military regulations. But remember, Pete Hexseth described the drone attack and the drone that got through as a, quote, squirter, that it squirted through the defenses of a fortified unit inside Kuwait. The truth is very different. Quote, painting a picture that once squeaked through is a falsehood. One of the injured soldiers told cbs, I want people to know the unit was unprepared to provide any defense for itself. It was not a fortified position. That service member who alike with others spoke on the condition of anonymity because of rigid Media restrictions within the military said that in spite of the carnage that ensued, those inside the charred and splintered compound responded with swiftness, ingenuity and valor. That saved lives. Quote, I don't think that the security environment, where any leadership decision diminishes in any way, their sacrifice or their service. Those soldiers put themselves in harm's way and I'm immensely proud of them and their family should be proud. There was a drone strike on the first days of the war in Iran. From Iran, on this base in Kuwait. Within 30 minutes of the strike, about 30 minutes, everything shook. And it's something like what you see in movies. Your ears are ringing, everything's fuzzy, your vision is blurry, you're dizzy, there's dust and smoke everywhere. Head wounds, heavy bleeding, lots of perforated eardrums and then just shrapnel all over. So folks are bleeding from their abdomen, bleeding from arms, bleeding from legs. Killed six people, six service members, injured 20 others. The tactical operations center, though, was similar to structures commonplace during the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan before the rise of drone warfare. So you had steel reinforced concrete barriers known as t walls surrounding the building. These types of barriers are designed to shield from the blast of a mortar or rocket, but offer no protection from aerial attacks. It's an old school military base, some small barriers. There's a bunch of little tin buildings where we set up makeshift offices. But essentially, essentially, many questions are emerging right now. Service members are asking, why did you leave us in the line of danger? We knew based on what Iran was doing regarding Ukraine, we knew that Iran had significant, significant, significant drone capabilities. And yet, and yet they left these soldiers in harm's way. Word of Hegseth's description of the events at a press conference did not sit well with the survivors. The secretary had described the drone as a squirter that happened to hit tactical operations centers, that was fortified. But these are powerful weapons. While some did not agree with the description, they did not want their remarks to be misconstrued. It is not my intent to diminish morale or to disparage the army or Department of War, but I do think telling the truth is important and we're not going to learn from these mistakes if we pretend these mistakes did not happen. Asked if the attack was inherently reality of engaging in combat, service member agreed, that's true. Asked if the attack was preventable, service member also said, absolutely, yes. I'm very sad for their loss and it's something I'll carry with me for the rest of my life, but I'M also immensely proud of them and their sacrifice and their family should be too. It comes as Marjorie Taylor Greene, a former Republican member of Congress, is now questioning Donald Trump's mental fitness to serve as Donald Trump continues to try to ramp up escalatory rhetoric and attacks Right now, right now, here's what she is saying.
