The President of the United States is facing two crises of conscience overnight regarding the war in Iran and the California elections. On the war in Iran. Israel and Iran have spent the night shooting at one another. Israel started it shooting in Lebanon, bombing Beirut. Iran launched ballistic missiles into Israel for the first time in months. Israel then targeted a petrochemical facility and struck various targets throughout Iran. Donald Trump no longer has control over Israel or Iran and all he can say this morning is stop the shooting. They're not stopping. At the same time, the President's unhappy because his endorsed candidate has lost again. Spencer Pratt, the candidate for mayor in Los Angeles, is now in third place. Dropping out of the top two will not make the general election and he's claiming fraud despite there being no evidence of the sorts. In addition, Republicans are continuing to lash out at Pete Hexseth over the Pentagon, not considering Church of Latter Day Saints Christian and much more. If you can support my work, subscribe today and we will continue pushing because right now the Epstein files are falling out of the news and we can't let that happen. This week is going to be a big week for the Epstein story and I won't let it die. So here's what happened overnight. First, Israel and Iran started to shoot at one Another. Once again, they have exchanged strikes. For the first time since the start of the war, or rather since the start of the April ceasefire, Iran launched three waves of attack, targeting Israel. Israel struck various military and other infrastructure targets in Iran, including a petrochemical facility in southwestern Iran. It all began because Israel struck Beirut, Lebanon, the capital of Lebanon, saying that it was allegedly linked to Hezbollah activity. Now, in response, Donald Trump did what he can do. He just said, stop the shooting. He kind of lost control over Netanyahu and the Ayatollah Khamenei in Iran for the first time really since the start of the war. Trump cannot stop Israel or Iran from bombing one another. The ceasefire doesn't really exist, despite what claims are being made from the administration, from the Secretary of State. Ultimately, at the end of the day, there is a full blown war still breaking out in the Middle East. And Donald Trump really wants that war to stop. He just can't stop it. See, he told Fox News that a deal was allegedly imminent. Again, that we were going to have a deal today, tomorrow or Wednesday. Now, that deal looks further apart than we ever have seen it, because right now, both Israel and Iran are targeting one another again. Israel started it, let me make that clear. Targeting strikes in Beirut, Lebanon was supposed to be part of the ceasefire. Clearly was not. Trump was upset about the fact that Israel targeted Beirut, Lebanon and said that the United States did not approve, not greenlight, those strikes. Well, in response, Iran targeted Israel, and then Israel struck Iran. And, well, just a week ago, Secretary of State Marco Rubio was telling us this. Billions of dollars of reconstruction costs just to get to where they were.
D
Mr. Rubio, you keep telling us how we're winning this war. The President keeps saying, well, the war is over, completely annihilated. The war is not over. And yet the American people see how we're losing at the pump and with their costs, and yet this thing still hasn't been resolved. Every day he tweets out, oh, we've obliterated them, we've annihilated them. They're gonna surrender, but yet we still find ourselves spending billions of dollars a week.
E
Yeah, Senator Booker, abroad, you wouldn't gone way over.
D
It would be nice if we had hearings where people.
B
Thank you, Senator Booker. Marco Rubio in that clip says the war's over. That was just a week ago. He had his mission accomplished moment in front of the United States Senate today. War is not over. Because now Donald Trump after these strikes, is saying that both sides actually are looking for an immediate ceasefire. They're Looking for peace after another night of strikes between Israel and Iran. This was posted literally seconds ago on his Truth Social. Look at this right here. Both sides, Israel and Iran, are looking to do an immediate ceasefire. Final negotiations of peace are proceeding subject to ignorance or stupidity getting in the way. Things should move quickly. Thank you for your attention to this matter. We'll see how that goes. Now, at the same time, the President's unhappy because Nithya Rahman, one of his non endorsed candidates, has beaten Spencer Pratt, his endorsed candidate. He's claiming that it's a rigged election. Spencer Pratt has fallen into third place in the California Los Angeles mayor mayoral election. Nithya Rahman will advance. Karen Bass will advance. It'll be a top two general election between two Democrats. Karen Bass is the incumbent mayor of la. Nithya Rahman is a councilwoman. We've interviewed both of them here. They're both great. And then Los Angeles is going to have a pick between Bass and Rahman come November. But Spencer Pratt, who Donald Trump endorsed and threw his support behind, will not be moving on. And Republicans are furious. One Republican, Anna Paulina Luna, says that the United States government sends billions to California to subsidize their failed policies. It's time we stop until they clean up their shady election process. They are blaming the fact that Spencer Pratt lost on California's elections, saying that there was election rigging, fraud, whatever. But the truth is California just takes a long time to count votes. There's no fraud, no evidence of fraud. Do I like the fact that California is taking days to count votes? No, I don't like that. I wish California counted votes the day that they came in. I think a lot of people wish we had election results quicker. When you have a ton of mail in ballots and you have to go one by one, it takes time, so it makes sense. And this morning, Republicans are again, or rather not Republicans, sorry, Mormons are erupting against Pete Hexseth. Here's Republican Senator Mike Lee told talking
E
about that it's very unfortunate that the Pentagon has chosen to identify basically every every faith group in America that professes faith in Jesus Christ as Christian, with one exception, that is those belonging to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I find this offensive not just because that happens to be my faith, but not just because it happens to be the faith of tens of thousands of US Military personnel. But it's also just repugnant to any sense of decency, any, any sense of our common heritage and our common belief that the government needs to not weigh in on doctrinal disputes between various religious denominations. And so I respectfully am imploring people at the Pentagon to reconsider this. Not just reconsider it, but undo it. Secretary Hegseth, tear down that wall. This is not cool. Get rid of it. Get rid of it now. Thank you.
B
That's a pretty interesting statement, to say the least. So we'll see how this week progresses. It's setting up to be a very busy week. Like I said, I'm about to go give a keynote address and then I have some exciting stuff coming up. Later this week, we'll do our paid subscriber live on Substack.
