News Anchor/Reporter
Good evening everyone and happy Monday. We have a busy news update for you right now from the White House. Lashing out at reporters posting videos and images of Donald Trump dozing off and even sleeping in the Oval Office during a maternal health event earlier today. Two big Epstein developments ahead of a critical hearing related to the Epstein survivors in Palm beach tomorrow. One that I'll be covering for you live. We also learned that someone who had spoken to Jeffrey Epstein also happened to be at the opening of the Don Colossus gold statue of Donald Trump in South Florida. We have a horrific, horrific story out of immigration related stories of a teenager died just hours from cancer after meeting with his parents who were undocumented and detained by ice. Oil prices continue to rise and the President doesn't seem too intent on changing that. And big redistricting news. Another blow to Democrats. I have all the latest right now, like comment, share, subscribe, get the word out. And if you can subscribe to my substack, click the link below to support my work. We're going to have a deep dive story this Friday. I'm angling either data centers or there's a really big gun related story that I'm working on right now. May drop that also. So stay tuned and I'll have updates on that. And then also, tomorrow is Epstein Day. I'll be covering the Epstein hearing in Palm beach live for you. And I'm working around the clock, going through the files and trying to help members of Congress where I can to prep for these upcoming hearings. So if you can subscribe to my substack link below to support my work as we kind of go through this. I want to begin by showing you what the White House was up to today. Donald Trump seemingly was dozing off in the Oval Office today. And this is an image posted by Idris Ali, who's a Reuters reporter. Mind you, he didn't say anything about what Trump was doing or whether or not he was sleeping. He just said that that is what Donald Trump looked like attending a maternal health event in the White House in the Oval Office. And he seemingly had his eyes closed. Rapid response. The White House rapid response arm responded saying, quote, he was blinking, you absolute moron. Well, I do have a video of him blinking and I want you to take a look and tell me whether it's blinking or whether it's dozing off

during the earliest years of their children's lives. Second, we are cutting unnecessary red tape. Red tape that forced providers to close, limited access to care and made it

harder for working families, as viewers pointed out. It really does seem like the president was tired, was dozing off. I mean, it makes sense. He doesn't really sleep based on what we know of him. And typically this wouldn't be even a news story at all, but the White House calling reporters morons for posting the image. And then also at the same time, the hypocrisy given the fact that Donald Trump himself coined the term Sleepy Joe Biden related to the former president. But the White House isn't too happy with videos like this circulating at the same time. Tomorrow there's a critical Epstein hearing that I want you to know about. It'll be in Palm beach with oversight Democrats who will be speaking with survivors in Palm Beach Today we learned someone connected to Jeffrey Epstein was at the unveiling of the statue at the Trump Durrell National Golf Club in South Florida. You can see him circled right there. His name is Brock Pierce. Said quote, I had a great time with the girls. Hope they had fun too. From Jeffrey Epstein to Brock Pierce. It's a real email from the Epstein files. Tomorrow's hearing is going to be critical because it's going to highlight the stories of the survivors once again, really at a time right now where the Epstein files have kind of fallen off the wayside in the sense that there are so many other news stories in this kind of round the clock, 247 news cycle. It's important that we focus on the survivors and put the Epstein survivors and their stories first. And that's what we'll be doing tomorrow during the hearing. I'll be covering it live for you. Like I said on here on my substack elsewhere, make sure to subscribe link below. We do have horrific news out of Chicago where an 18 year old Chicago born man has died battling terminal cancer just one day after reuniting with his parents who were detained by ICE while trying to cross the US Mexico border. Man's name is Kevin Gonzalez. Kevin Gonzales received a terminal diagnosis of stage 4 colon cancer in January of this year. This is his final hug with his mother. His parents, upon hearing that or upon hearing about his terminal diagnosis, applied for a humanitarian visa to be able to come see him. They're undocumented, they live in Mexico and they wanted to come see him one final time, give him one final hug. The United States Department of Homeland Security and ICE rejected their humanitarian visa. So they did what any other parent would do and they tried to cross the border undocumented, where they were stopped by ice. They were detained in an Arizona detention facility. Kevin, wanting to see his parents, checked himself out of the University of Chicago's medical center, knowing that by doing so he may lose time on his life so that he could fly to his grandmother's home in Mexico where he was able to reunite with his parents this past weekend just for a few hours. And he later passed away after one final hug from his mom. We do have more news on Iran. Here's what the President had to say today regarding the ongoing ceasefire in Iran.

But for the time being, the ceasefire remains in place.

It's unbelievably weak, I would say. I would call it the weakest right now after reading that piece of garbage they sent us. I didn't even finish reading it. They said I'm going to waste my time reading it. I would say it's one of the weakest right now. It's on life support. They understand. These are all medical people. Dr. Oz, life support is not a good thing. Do you agree? I would say the ceasefire is on massive life support where the doctor walks in and says, sir, your loved one

has approximately one ceasefires on life support. He says. And it comes as he also came out today and suggested suspending the gas tax. Now to do that, he needs congressional approval. To me that signals, well, gas prices are going to continue to rise. So be prepared for that. Here's what a White House spokesperson had to say about the gas price rise.
White House Press Secretary
President Trump said again from the Oval Office today. He insists that this will drop like a rock once this all comes to an end. What is President Trump and what is the White House saying today about these high energy prices? Well, look, the President has been incredibly clear eyed with the American people since prior to the start of Operation Epic Fury about what could happen if Iran tried to subvert the free flow of energy in the Strait of Hormuz. And he's right. Once this long term and short term volatility presented by Iran is removed, then those oil prices, those gas prices are going to drop dramatically. But look, I know there's a lot of confusion, it seems on the Iranian side and in the legacy media about the state of play right now with Iran. Let me be very clear. Iran has been incredibly decimated. Military, their navy is at the bottom of the ocean. Their ballistic missiles are destroyed. Their production facilities are, are demolished. Now they are being totally crippled economically by the weight of Operation Economic Fury. So the president is not in a rush. He has all the cars at his disposal because he knows that Iran is getting weaker and weaker by the day while the United States is getting stronger and stronger.

Go ahead.

President is not in a rush. So that's why we may see the gas tax suspended if Congress passes it. I did say there were some big redistricting news. Virginia Democrats applied for an emergency application for a stay with the United States Supreme Court. I'm going to be honest with you, I don't have my hopes up for the Virginia Democrats here. Based on from my legal point of view, I don't know that this Supreme Court, this conservative court, will support what the Virginia Democrats are arguing. And on the other end, the Supreme Court today cleared the way for Alabama to eliminate a black majority district in Alabama. So that happened today. The new maps have already essentially been agreed to and passed. It's a busy day. I'm going to have another update for you in the morning. Epstein hearing tomorrow.
