My name is Mackenzie and I started a GoFundMe for the adoptive mother of a non verbal autistic child. The mother had lost her job because she wasn't able to find adequate care for this autistic child. So she really needed some help with living expenses, paying some back bills. So I launched a GoFundMe to help support them during this crisis and we raised about $10,000 within just a couple of months. I think that the surprising thing was by telling a clear story and just like really being very clear about what we needed, we had some really generous donations from people who were really moved by the situation that this family was struggling with.

We have some breaking developments this morning from Iran to Trump's Cabinet On Trump's Cabinet Trump is becoming increasingly frustrated with many of his Cabinet officials and a major shakeup. Mass firings may be on the horizon. Why soon? Well, because Trump is also frustrated and concerned that Republicans may lose the United States Senate in November. And if that were to happen, then he would have a hard time getting anyone confirmed through the Senate for his Cabinet. And so he may start firing folks from Cash Patel to Lori Chavez Darimer to Howard Lutnick, sooner rather than later. At the same time, we have major news regarding Iran this morning as for the first time since the start of the war, Axios has confirmed that Iran has shot down a United States fighter jet. And as we speak, a search and rescue operation is ongoing. The to locate the crew members, the Americans that were on the fighter jet in southern Iran. And it all comes as Todd Blanche has taken over the Justice Department. Todd Blanche, Acting Attorney General Donald Trump's former personal criminal defense attorney. The first time a criminal defense attorney of a president has served as the President's Attorney General. And while he's saying the Epstein investigation is over. Lots of news to cover right now. This morning, the Trump administration is weighing firing several high profile Cabinet members. According to the Atlantic, FBI Director Cash Patel is top of the list. Army Secretary Dan Driscoll, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick and Laurie Chavez Darimer are all reportedly up for consideration. Timing is uncertain and Trump hasn't decided one way or the other. But right now, Trump is upset and many of these Cabinet secretaries for not doing the job that he wants them to do. And also has been long mulling major Cabinet shakeups ahead of November's election. Remember, all of these Cabinet secretaries were confirmed by the United States Senate. Assuming Democrats do not vote for Trump's nominee, if Republicans were to lose the Senate in November, then Democrats could theoretically stall the confirmation of anyone Trump picks. And so right now, there is a rush inside the White House to try to get new people in and get old folks out. Now, the one that I'm most interested about right now is Cash Patel. Given the fact that an FBI director serves for 10 years, not four years, not eight years, the term for an FBI director is 10 years because it's a nonpartisan position. If Cash Patel were to be fired within just about a year of taking the job as FBI director, he would have one of the shortest tenures in American history. And the firings have already begun in the Pentagon. Pete Hexseth asked Army General Chief of Staff Randy George to step down and take immediate retirement. Other army officers were also removed from their role, including General David Hode, who led the Army's Transformation and Training Command, and Major General William Green, who headed the Army's Chaplain corps. And it comes as Todd Blanche, the acting Attorney General, has taken office for Donald Trump. Trump is weighing keeping him in for a while as Attorney General and, well, maybe this is why. Take a listen.
Interviewer Jesse
The president reportedly probably obviously frustrated that the case is against Tish and Schiff and Brennan and Comey. Not really going anywhere. Are you the guy that's going to be able to get that done?
Todd Blanche
Look, I think the president is frustrated. Everybody is frustrated because what we saw happen for the past four years is unforgivable and can never happen again. And so certainly I don't, I don't mind the frustration. I Appreciate the frustration because we do have to make sure that what happened for four years never happens again. And we don't talk about investigations. But I can tell you that the Department of Justice is working hard every day. It was working hard yesterday, and we're going to keep on working hard tomorrow. And I'm honored that President Trump has asked me to step in as acting and also much appreciative for what president, what Pam Bondi did for the past year.
Interviewer Jesse
I mean, you get the anger. I mean, what Biden and Obama did to this president, you understand there's a lot of anger about that, right?
Todd Blanche
Not only do I understand, I lived it. Jesse, don't forget I was on your show the night two years ago, the night that President Trump was found guilty in Manhattan in the middle of the lawfare. So I do not need any kind. I had a firsthand accounting of what happened. And so, yes, I understand it. The American people understand it, and I know that the American people expect that it will never happen again. And we take that seriously.
Interviewer Jesse
Yeah, you fought that case hard. You absolutely did.
News Anchor
And when asked essentially what happens to the Epstein case, take a listen.
Interviewer Jesse
The Epstein files, you'd agree, not handled well.
Todd Blanche
And I don't. First of all, I have never heard President Trump say that the attorney general was that anything that happened to her had anything to do with the Epstein files. And so look, the Epstein files has been a saga that's lasted for the entirefor the past year. And what happened when the president signed the Transparency act is the Department of Justice has now released all the files with respect to the Epstein saga. And the Attorney General Bondi and I appeared in front of Congress voluntarily a couple weeks ago to answer any questions they had. We have made every single congressman, Senator, available to come and see any document redacted, unredacted that they want. And so I think that to the extent that the Epstein files was a part of the past year of this Justice Department, it will should not be a part of anything going forward.
Interviewer Jesse
Okay, well, I mean, you've come.
News Anchor
Epstein saga is coming to an end. That's from Todd Blanche. Don't expect more files, don't expect more investigation. Remember, Blanche is the one who led really the charge regarding the Epstein files and not complying with the Epstein files Transparency Act. And well, here we are now confirming that his Department of Justice essentially isn't going to do anything, in fact, maybe even more restrictive than Pam Bondi's. And it comes at a critical moment for the American military in this war. New reporting from Axios this morning has confirmed that Iran has shot down a United States fighter jet. Per Iranian media and a source familiar with the incident, a search and rescue effort is now underway to locate two crew members. It would be the first time since the beginning of the war that a US Fighter jet was downed by enemy fire. And the photos and videos suggest it was an F15 fighter jet. Now here is a significant moment because Donald Trump for weeks has been saying that we control the skies over Iran, that Iran has very capabilities left. And yet now we have a potential serious situation where if these Americans are captured by the Iranians, that would be a very, very serious situation. Very, very serious situation for the White House, for the country. We'll see what happens. And Trump, for his part, is saying, you know what? We started bombing your bridges. We're going to bomb your electrical power plants next. The new regime leadership knows what has to be done and has to be done fast. He also says with a little more time, we can easily open the Hormuz Strait, take the oil and make a fortune. It would be a quote gusher for the world. President Donald J. Trump, he has not publicly commented on the fact that right now there is a search and rescue operation going on for American pilots in southern Iran. So a major morning of news and looks as though this day is going to be a pretty busy one. So if you can subscribe to support my work, click the link below my substack, like comment, share and get the word out so that others can can do the same and that others can stay educated on what's happening in our world in this moment. And also do me a favor and comment below and let me know what you just generally think. If you have any questions, I'll try to answer as many as possible. And I'll see you soon for another update. So take care.
