we have some news. Right now there are serious questions being raised about the President's mental acuity following an unhinged press conference this afternoon. Truly one of the most unhinged press conferences the President has given to date. I Watched it all in full. It was over an hour and a half long so that you did not have to. And he said everything from threatening to jail a journalist to bombing Iran to the Stone Age to running for president of Venezuela, calling former President Joe Biden, the quote being mentally the R word, and a whole lot more. Right now there are a lot of questions swirling on Capitol Hill and in the White house, in Washington, D.C. generally about the president's mental state. And this press conference is not going to inspire any confidence right now. Make sure to like, comment, share and subscribe. The more you like, the more people see this, even if you don't like the news. And please subscribe to my substack. Click the link below to support my work as I'm bringing this to you in real time. So the President's press conference largely began on message and then quickly devolved into something much more. He began his press conference by talking about how he could end Iran total obliteration essentially in just one second day.
Donald Trump
The entire country could be taken out in one night and that night might be tomorrow night.

The entire country could be taken out in one night and that night might be tomorrow night. We now have confirmation that the United States military is preparing for new strikes across IRAN if the 8pm deadline that Trump self imposed on Iran expires tomorrow. The United States military has prepared strikes for the. If the ultimatum expires and Trump gives the green light now, these strikes will be on. Power plants will be on bridges. Nothing, nothing is off the table. According to the president said that very
Interviewer / Journalist
little is off limits in Iran as far as targeting, including power plants, bridges, you've mentioned those.
Donald Trump
Very little is off limits.
Interviewer / Journalist
Are there certain kinds of civilian targets, though? I'm thinking.
Donald Trump
I don't want to tell you that, I don't want to tell you that we have, we have a plan because of the power of our military, where every bridge in Iran will be decimated by 12 o' clock tomorrow night. Where every power plant in Iran will be out of business, burning, exploding and never to be used again. I mean, complete demolition by 12 o'. Clock. And it'll happen over a period of four hours. If we wanted to, we don't want that to happen. We may even get involved with helping them rebuild their nation. And you know what, if that's the case, the last thing we want to do is start with power plants, which are among the most expensive thing. And bridges.
News Host / Political Commentator
So there you have, you have it. He says that they have a plan to bomb essentially these bridges and power plants into oblivion starting tomorrow night. Then the press conference quickly devolved. He first began to threaten to jail a journalist when you add that to it.
Donald Trump
But we have to find that leaker because that's a sick person, probably didn't realize the extent of how bad it was. I can't imagine that the person did. But we're going to find out. It's national security. And the person that did the story will go to jail if he doesn't say. And that doesn't last long. And I think everybody would understand. They put this mission at great risk. They put that man at great risk and they put the hundreds of people that went in looking for him because everyone now knows that we're going in.
News Host / Political Commentator
So what he is saying is that when the two service members were ejected out of the F15 fighter jet, one of them was rescued quickly. And then we got word from Fox News, actually, funny enough, the Washington Post that there was a second United States service member that had not yet been rescued. He wants to know, so who in the national security apparatus in the federal government told authorities or told journalists at Fox News and at the Washington Post that there was a second service member out there. He wants to go to the Fox News and the Washington Post and any journalists who publish this and ask them who their source is if they don't give up their sources. He wants to throw them in jail. He wants to throw them in jail now. He can't legally do that. This is the stuff of dictators. This is how dictators speak. But it has not stopped him from saying that nonetheless. And while there were some parts of this press conference because it quickly devolved into quickly chaos. Take a listen.
Interviewer / Journalist
You called yesterday in your truth, social. You called the Iranians crazy bastards. What is your response to critics who say that?
Donald Trump
I don't care about critics.
Interviewer / Journalist
What is your response to critics who say that it is your mental health that should perhaps be examined as this war continues?
Donald Trump
I haven't heard that. But if that's the case, you're going to have to have more people like me because our country was being ripped off on trade or everything for many years until I came along. So if that's the case, you're going to have to have more people. Dasha, go ahead.
News Host / Political Commentator
He says essentially there are going to be. You need more people like him. More people like him. But that's not all. He also threatened to run for president of Venezuela.
Donald Trump
Think of it. It's not just NATO. You know who else didn't help us? South Korea didn't help Us. You know who else didn't help us? Australia didn't help us. You know who else didn't help us? Japan. We've got 50,000 soldiers in Japan to protect them from North Korea. We have 45,000 soldiers in South Korea to protect us from Kim Jong Un, who I get along with very well, as you know. Do you notice he said very nice things about me? He used to call Joe Biden a mentally retarded person. Okay, so don't tell me about your stuff. Joe Biden, he said he's a mentally retarded person. He was so nasty to Joe Biden. It was terrible. But to me, he likes Trump. And you notice how nice things are with North Korea. It's very nice. But we have.
News Host / Political Commentator
This is where the press conference gone. This is where it went.
Donald Trump
Heard that in, I think, maybe hundreds of years now with Venezuela. And we just so you understand, the people of Venezuela, they say, if I ran for president of Venezuela, I'm polling higher than anybody has ever polled in Venezuela. So after I'm finished with this, I can go to Venezuela. I will quickly learn Spanish. It won't take too long. I'm good at language. And I will go to Venezuela. I'm going to run for president.
News Host / Political Commentator
Like, what are we doing? Genuinely, what are we doing? And a lot of media will report on this and say, well, this was a press conference where Donald Trump spoke about the heroic rescue of two service members out of Iran. Well, yes, that is part of it. But the other part, and arguably just the just as important part of it that needs to be reported on, is the fact that the president of the United States just had one of the most unhinged press conferences you will ever see from a president. And if any other president of the United States had the same press conference, Congress would be calling for impeachment. Fox News and any other journalists would be calling for the 25th Amendment. And that's where we're at. But because it's Trump, they're just gonna say, trump being Trump. Well, I refuse. That's why you get a little different from me.
