Uncovered Repairs we have some major developments right now, from Iran to immigration to the White House. On Iran, Donald Trump is seemingly waving the white flag behind the scenes, suggesting that he may opt to end the war in Iran without reopening the Strait of Hormuz. Despite threatening war crimes by bombing civilian infrastructure water supply in Iran, Trump now may be walking away from the war altogether. It comes after the United States started the war and Trump today is saying it's time for these allies of ours. If they want their oil, they have to go get it from the strait without the United States help. All while France, a key ally of the United States and Israel, has refused to allow planes carrying military equipment to fly over its territory. Trump is furious about that. Price of a gallon of gas on average has now surpassed $4 in the United States and, well, if you want to know what the White House is focused on demanding the removal of an unflattering image of White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt. Lots to cover right now. Make sure to like, comment, share and subscribe before jumping in. I want to make a quick note. A couple of you mentioned that a video of mine on TikTok and other platforms has been taken down concerning Lindsey Graham at Disney World wasn't taken down. It's been censored, nuked community guidelines violations left and right. It is serious. The censorship is continuing. That's why I'm here on substack on YouTube platforms that I can be my true self and report without any of these algorithms controlling who sees it and whether or not it's taken down. So make sure to subscribe to my substack, especially click the link below to support this work. This morning, the price of a gallon of gas in the United States on average has surpassed $4 for the first time since 2022 per AAA, up $1.04 in about one month since the start of the war in Iran. Now, many people have already been feeling the price of gas rising at the pumps for many weeks now in some places in California and other areas, people have been paying over $4, some places over $5, maybe even nearly $6 a gallon of gas. But now, on average, the United States has surpassed the $4 mark. And it comes as New Reporting from the Wall Street Journal suggests that Trump is desperately looking for an off ramp. Privately, Trump has told aides he is willing to end the military campaign against Iran if the Strait of Hormuz remains largely closed and leave a complex operation to reopen it for a later date. The report mentions that Trump's first option remains to open the strait by negotiating an ending of the war with the Iranian regime, while the second option would be to demand that its allies, especially the Gulf states and NATO, lead the operation to reopen the strait. Essentially, the United States started it. NATO and the Gulf states need to do it without the United States support. But this is the first time, at least privately, he is signaling some willingness to move on from a war that has sent his approval ratings in a nosedive.
D
Take a look here. Take a look at Donald Trump's overall net approval rating. This is the lowest of his term, the lowest of his second term. We're talking about minus 17 points, 17 points underwater. And unlike in Donald Trump's first term, in which he was negative basically throughout his entire term, Trump actually started off in positive territory here in his second term. But now he's at the lowest point of his second term. But there's an even bigger comparison to be made. Okay, so obviously Trump was elected once back in 2016, then he took a four year break and then of course, he's serving his second term and it's his second presidency. So I went back and I looked at all of the presidents at this point in a presidency.
C
All of them.
D
All of them at this point in a presidency. And guess what? Donald Trump is the lowest ever. The lowest ever at this point in a presidency Lower than Joe Biden, lower than Jimmy Carter, lower than Ronald Reagan. He's lower than all of them. All of them. At this point in a presidency, you know, you can make any sort of swimming comparison you want. Maybe you want to make a comparison with a diver like Greg Louganis. Maybe you want to make a swimming comparison. Michael Phelps. Maybe if you're me, like an old Jewish soul, you want to make a comparison with Mark Spitz. Either way, he is very much. He is very much the lowest, the

lowest of any president in American history at this point in his presidency. The worst approval rating in American history. That title currently belongs to Donald Trump, and it's because of this war in Iran. We started it. And now Trump is saying, okay, allies, time to finish it. All of those countries that can't get jet fuel because of the Strait of Hormuz, like the United Kingdom, which refuse to get involved in the decapitation of Iran. I have a suggestion for you. Number one, buy from the United States. We have plenty no one wants to buy right now. Number two, build up some delayed courage. Go to the straight and just take it. You'll have to start learning how to fight for yourself. The United States of America won't be there to help you anymore, just like you weren't there for us. Iran has been essentially decimated. The heart part is done. Go get your own oil. And while he's lashing out of countries like France because France wouldn't let planes headed to Israel loaded up with military supplies fly over French territory, France has been very unhelpful with respect to the butcher of Iran, who has been successfully eliminated. Now, if you want to know what the White House is focused on this morning, it's getting this picture removed from the Internet. This is an image from Getty Images. It's an image of Caroline Levitt with her son and a turkey at a Thanksgiving White House briefing. Caroline Levitt didn't like this image because she claimed it was unflattering. She demanded it was taken down, and it was, but we have it here. And, well, overall, the concern of the White House continues to grow with each passing day. Because of things like this, I would

say that House Republicans are running for the exits faster than kids do on the final day of school. I mean, just take a look here. Oh, hello. Most house retirement since 1930 so far this cycle already 36. 36. That is the grand record over the last nearly 100 years. My goodness gracious. That actually beats the former record in total, which was 34 back in the 2018 cycle, and that wasn't that long ago, and I do recall that was a very, very good year for House Democrats. The bottom line is this. You don't run for the exits unless you know trouble is brewing. And House Republicans so far believe trouble is absolutely ruined. Okay, how do you know that? What does history tell us about these types of exits? Okay, so, you know, I say it's brewing, and sometimes I just like to pontificate, but sometimes I actually have facts behind me. Let's take a look here. Okay. Party with a. Fewer house retirements since 1982. A midterms. They went on to win the U.S. house 80% of the time. Far fewer Democrats are retiring this cycle than Republicans. When one side runs for the exits. Right. I'm doing my best right here. My best. Usain Bolt right here. When one side runs for the exits, they lose the House of Representatives. When one side stays put, it's because they think something good is going to happen. In House Democrats clearly think something is good going to happen. And House Republicans clearly think something very bad, very bad is going to happen. Again, we said this is basically a record since 1930, more than we've seen in 100 years. And that's just so far. I mean, that's just so far. This is, I think what's so clear is this number is likely to climb ever higher. Okay, so what are they looking at? Sam Graves last Thursday, and it was a surprise.

“Okay, allies, time to finish it. All of those countries that can’t get jet fuel because of the Strait of Hormuz ... I have a suggestion for you. Number one, buy from the United States. We have plenty—no one wants to buy right now. Number two, build up some delayed courage. Go to the Strait and just take it.” – Aaron Parnas, [05:35]

Aaron Parnas’s delivery is brisk, urgent, and direct—combining legal insight with punchy, contemporary analogies. The tone skewers both administration priorities (obsession over press secretary’s press photos) and political maneuvering. The focus is on epic scale developments ("historic lows," "record retirements"), reinforced with data and snappy metaphors.
This episode captures a White House in turmoil: international strategy buckling, approval ratings in freefall, GOP panic manifesting in a mass exodus, and a surreal focus on optics over substance. For listeners, it’s a rapid-fire tour through the legal, political, and media crosswinds buffeting Trump’s second term, delivered with the sharpness and insight that defines The Parnas Perspective.
