We have significant news this evening. Cash Patel has been caught lying using FBI taxpayer dollars to fly in a private jet to party in Milan during the Olympics, despite yelling at reporters and telling reporters that that's exactly what he wasn't doing. Well, today we have him on video doing exactly that. Meanwhile, I found more new significant Epstein files that question whether or not Epstein died by taking his own life, all while American partners abroad, from India to the European Union, while they may soon pull out or try to modify the existing trade deals that Donald Trump himself executed after the recent Supreme Court decision overturning his ability to impose tariffs under ipa. A significant news update right now. Make sure to like, comment, share and subscribe. The more you like, the more people see this. Subscribe to my substack, click the link below to support my work. It's about to be a very busy week with State of the Union stuff and more. I'll be on the ground for you covering it all. Stay tuned. Let's jump right into a Cash Patel and the FBI, well, they are under fire this evening because they previously claimed that they would not use taxpayer funds to go to Milan on a trip for the Olympics. Well, we're learning that not to be fully the case. So Cash Patel is in Milan right now. He is at the Olympics right now. We'll take a look for yourself. This is Ben Williamson. He responded to Ms. Now three days ago, Cash Patel headed to Milan for the Olympics on the FBI jet. Ben Williamson responded, quote, I literally gave this rag the director's almost entire official meeting schedule while in Italy and they still tweeted this garbage. Okay, and what's this? Congratulations. That's Cash Patel inside the locker room after Team USA won the gold medal match in the Olympics. Cash Patel and the FBI have been caught in a pretty significant lie because it cost taxpayers $70,000 plus to send him to Europe. And it comes as we're learning new information about the Epstein files. I'm going to read you this Epstein files. This file I came across today. It's from June 11, 2020, and that date is significant. Hi, Blank, I'm an AUSA Assistant United States Attorney in Eastern District of New York, and I'm working on an investigation into death of an inmate at the Brooklyn mdc. The OCME office of the County Medical examiner told me that it signed a confidentiality agreement in connection with the investigation into the murder of Jeffrey Epstein. We were hoping to extend a similar agreement and I wanted to see if you could share the agreement or a boilerplate version of it. Look at that sentence again. The OCME told me that it signed a confidentiality agreement in connection with the investigation into the murder of Jeffrey Epstein. This is nearly one year after Jeffrey Epstein died and an assistant United States attorney in the Eastern District of Virginia is calling it a murder investigation. And that begs the question, why? Why? If the public was being told that There was never really a murder investigation, that he took his own life. Why isn't AUSA labeling it as such inside this email, I've sent it to a member of Congress already to go look at the unredacted version of it tomorrow or this week. As soon as we get more information, I will let you know. Many may move on from the Epstein files. I refuse. I'm going to continue digging. And, you know, you may be concerned about my safety. Sometimes I'm even concerned about my safety, but I'm protecting myself. I'm not stopping now. In addition, Donald Trump's trade deals may be in trouble. And, well, the U.S. trade Rep, Jamison Greer is saying, hold down the fort. Do not back away.
Unidentified Person 1
Take a listen of what's happening around the world. You had India reportedly call off a visit by their trade delegation to Washington because they're trying to figure out what just happened. South Korea, the EU block, they're both holding emergency meetings to try to figure out what's going on. They have trade deals with the US what's going to happen to those trade deals? Are they in jeopardy?
Trade Official
So I spoke with my counterpart from the EU this weekend. I have a call that I'm going to have with others. I spoke to my counterparts in other countries. And so the deals, the deals were not premised on whether or not the emergency tariff litigation would rise or fall. They weren't premised on that. So it's totally normal for these countries to, you know, talk to each other, have meetings internally to determine this. But rest assured, I've been speaking to these folks as well, and I've been telling them for a year, whether this case, whether we won or lost, we were going to have tariffs. The president's policy was going to continue. That's why they signed these deals even while the litigation was pending. So we're having active conversations with them. We want them to understand that these deals are going to be good deals. We, we expect to stand by them. We expect our partners to stand by
Aaron Dash
them, and we expect our partners to stand by them. But today, senior EU legislative leader announced his intention to recommend that the European Parliament's negotiation committee temporarily halt the ratification process for the agreement. Quote, pure tariff chaos on the part of the US Administration, wrote Bern Lang. No one can make sense of it anymore. Only open questions and growing uncertainty for the EU and other US Trading partners. In addition to, it's not just the eu, it's also India. Take a look. India's trade negotiators have rescheduled their planned visit to Washington, D.C. which was aimed at firming up an interim trade agreement. It looks as though that deal is now in trouble. And take a listen to what Scott Bess and the Treasury Secretary had to say about these trade deals. But also tariff refunds and whether or not American consumers and American businesses should expect them in the coming days, weeks, months after the Supreme Court decision.
Interviewer Dana
Will you refund the roughly $134 billion in revenue taken by these emergency tariffs?
Scott Bess
Well, Dana, that's not the big question. Let's just level set here. What the Supreme Court did was a very narrow reading of the president's authority under the IA tariffs. We have other tariff authorities which have been functioning section 232 tariffs, section 301 tariffs. And Dana, when you say it's a big question, that's bad framing because the Supreme Court didn't even address that. The Supreme Court remanded it down to a lower court. And you know, we will follow what they say, but that could be weeks or months when we hear them. So the Supreme Court did not address refunds.
Interviewer Dana
Sure. They didn't address refunds. That is clearly going to be up to. To you, which is why.
Scott Bess
No, no, no, no, Dana, it is not up to me. It is up to you.
Interviewer Dana
Not you, not me.
Scott Bess
It is not up to you, the administration. It is up to the lower court. Let's just be clear on that.
Interviewer Dana
Okay. Well, the Justice Department told a federal appeals court in this very case last year, if tariffs imposed on plaintiffs during these appeals are ultimately held unlawful, then the government will issue refunds to plaintiffs.
Scott Bess
Again, I'm not going to get out ahead of the court. We will follow the court's direction, but as I said, that could be weeks or months away. That decision was not rendered on Friday.
Aaron Dash
You're not getting a refund if you thought you were, you're not. So that's the latest. Right now it's busy Sunday, as always. Doesn't stop even on a Sunday. I don't stop even on a Sunday. I'll continue digging. I'm going to go through more files tonight, specifically Epstein files ahead of the State of the Union on Tuesday, where I'll meet more survivors as well. So stay tuned for that because many of them are going to be attending the State of the Union as guests of members of Congress. As always, make sure to like, comment, share and subscribe.
