My name is Mackenzie and I started a GoFundMe for the adoptive mother of a nonverbal autistic child. The mother had lost her job because she wasn't able to find adequate care for this autistic child. So she really needed some help with living expenses, paying some back bills. So I launched a GoFundMe to help support them during this crisis. And, and we raised about $10,000 within just a couple of months. I think that the surprising thing was by telling a clear story and just like really being very clear about what we needed, we had some really generous donations from people who were really moved by the situation that this family was struggling with.

We have some major developments right now that you need to be aware of as we head into what is expected to be a very consequential week for a lot of folks across the United States of America. This morning we have major updates regarding the war in Iran. The war is continuing despite Trump claims that there are ongoing negotiations. Today, Donald Trump threatened to, quote, obliterate civilian infrastructure in Iran, to include oil refineries, to include desalination plants. Desalination plants provide clean desalinated water to the people of Iran and to the Gulf states. The Gulf specifically has about provides about 40% of the world's desalinated water through its plants. Bombing such plants would be a war crime. At the same time, there are critical arguments in front of the United States Supreme Court this week regarding the future of birthright citizenship in the 14th Amendment to the United States Constitution. And while the President is already expecting to not win on his critical case in front of the Supreme Court, the government shutdown for DHS has now reached more than 44 days, making it the largest or the longest shutdown in American history and much more. We're done with paternity leave or paternity leave lite. We're going to be working regularly now. We're doing it together. Everyone's excited, everyone's happy here at home. We're back from the hospital and we're all good. So let's rock and roll. I had my first cup of coffee of the day, had a few hours of sleep, ready to roll. This morning the President of the United States is issuing a new threat, saying that the United States of America is in serious discussions with a new and more reasonable regime to end our military operations in Iran. Great progress has been made, but if for any reason a deal is not shortly reached, which it probably will be, and if the Ormu Strait is not immediately open for business, we will conclude our lovely stay in Iran by blowing up and completely obliterating all of their electrical generating plants, oil wells and Kharg island and possibly all desalination plants which we have purposely not yet touched. This will be in retribution for many soldiers and others that Iran has butchered and killed over the old regime's 47 year reign of terror. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I want to digest parts of this post for you this morning. First, the desalination plants part. Desalination plants, as some of you may know, are essentially plants that take salt out of salt water to make saltwater drinkable. And they do it for millions and millions of people in the Middle east, especially in Iran, but also oftentimes that water will then be transported to other parts of the world. Like I said at the beginning, the Gulf states are responsible for about 40% of the world's desalinated water. And so bombing desalination plans would lead to mass casualties in Iran because many Iranians, civilians would not have access to clean water. Bombing electrical generating plants would cause mass casualties because you'd have a blackout in Iran. Oil wells could create that black smoke, that thick black smoke, black acid rain that we saw at the beginning of the war. Carg island is where the United States is considering seizing. Putting boots on the ground. Now it comes. I want you to look at the time, the bottom right corner, 7:26am Eastern, an hour and a half before the markets open. Him saying great progress has been made and saying that the Ormu Strait will probably be open for business soon is an effort to manipulate the market to make sure that the market is going up, not down. To make sure oil prices go down, not up ahead of what will be another day of bombing in the Middle East. Same time you have folks like Marjorie Taylor Greene saying that Fox News is now the fake news brainwashing boomers to support what we voted against. They said Marjorie Taylor Greene has made clear and her America first wing of the party has made clear they do not support the ongoing war in Iran. They did not vote for it and well Fox News for the past month plus has been playing on repeat why American boots on the ground should occur. And it all comes as there are other interesting and important developments in Iran this morning. The Iranian military threatened to bomb and target the homes of American officials and Israeli officials, both military commanders and political officials throughout the Middle east in retaliation for the American Israeli strikes that killed Ali Khamenei, along with several other top Iranian military commanders and political officials. Spain has also banned the United States from using its military bases or its airspace for its military aircraft that is being used in Iran. It also comes as this week is a consequential week for the United States Supreme Court and Donald Trump is already prefacing what critical arguments will occur on April 1st. First on April 1st, the United States Supreme Court will consider a case that involves whether or not birthright citizenship is a right guaranteed under the United States constitution. Whether the 14th Amendment guarantees citizenship rights to individuals born in the United States of America to two undocumented parents. Traditionally the rule is if you are born in the United States, you are granted automatic citizenship. Trump administration tried to change that to revoke citizenship status for those born to undocumented parents. And the President is putting out this post ahead of oral arguments saying both birthright citizenship is not about rich people from China and the rest of the world who want their children and hundreds of thousands more for pay to ridiculously become citizens of the United States of America. It is about the babies of slaves. We are the only country in the world that dignifies this subject with discussion. Look at the dates of this long ago legislation, the exact end of the Civil War. The world is getting rich selling citizenships to our country while at the same time laughing at how stupid our US supreme, our US Court system has become. Tariffs, dumb judges and justices will not a great country make, doesn't make. I mean, that's not really English. But alas, he is preparing for what will likely be a pretty stunning rebuke again at this Supreme Court. Because Right now the 14th amendment to the United States Constitution is clear in its text that if you are born in the United States of America, you are a citizen. Doesn't matter whether or not your parents or grandparents or any family members have citizenship status at the time of birth. It also comes as the President of the United States has acknowledged that he will allow the Cuban blockade that the United States has done on oil that has plunged Cuba into nationwide blackout on multiple occasions. He will allow some Russian and potentially Chinese ships to provide oil to the region. It comes as we are now entering day. I believe it's 45 or 46 of a lengthy government shutdown that has no end in sight. TSA agents will start to receive pay soon under Trump's executive order, although that executive order is is likely illegal on its face because that money was not appropriated for TSA agents. But even though TSA agents are starting to get paid, ICE agents will remain at airports. According to Tom Homan, Donald Trump's borders are until further notice. They could be setting up a stage a play to put ICE agents at polling locations next. But before that happens, I would expect to see ICE agents patrol this summer's winning World Cup.
