May 25th Wayfair Every style, every home. Good morning everyone. Happy Wednesday. Very busy day already. The Trump family and the president himself. They're facing crises on multiple fronts. Trump Trump's China visit has begun. He has landed in Beijing, but unfortunately for him, it's been derailed by comments he made yesterday suggesting that he does not think about the American financial situation. Republicans on Capitol Hill are trying to respond, or rather get away from his comments. So much so that they're now saying either he doesn't believe it, he didn't mean it, or they just don't want to talk about it. And while they're worried that his remark is going to be played over and over again in ads heading into November, at the same time, the Trump family is facing a bit of a crisis. As in Australia, their Marquee Gold Coast Tower 91 stories that was set to begin construction this year has been canceled because Australians came out in full force signed the petition. And while now it's too toxic to build, the reflecting pool construction project is also a bit of a mess right now, as now Trump to the it's gotten to the point where there are holes in the paint, bubbles in the paint. And Trump no longer says now he says he doesn't know who the contractor is after granting him a no bid contract all while on Iran. Classified intelligence assessments from this month now believe. Well, the Iranians actually maintain a lot of the military capabilities Trump claims were decimated. When you're negotiating with Iran, Mr. President, to what extent are American financial situations motivating you to make a deal?
Donald Trump
Not even a little, little bit. The only thing that matters when I'm talking about Iran, they can't have a nuclear weapon. I don't think about American financial situation. I don't think about anybody. I think about one thing. We cannot let Iran have a nuclear weapon. That's all. That's the only thing that that comment
Political News Host
has now sent shockwaves across Capitol Hill where Republicans are really trying hard to avoid talking about it or just punt on the issue. Here's what Senator Loomis had to say from West Senator Loomis from Wyoming,
Senator / Political Commentator
real quick, what do you make of Donald Trump saying that he doesn't think about the finances or the financial situation of the American people?
Political News Host
Did he say that?
Interviewee / Political Figure
Yeah, I don't have a comment about that.
Political News Host
Mostly because I think he actually does care. I don't have a comment on it. Here's what Susan Collins, who's up for re election right now, had to say
Senator / Political Commentator
that he doesn't think about American, the American people's financial situation. He just said I didn't oppress her about an hour and a half ago.
Political News Host
Well, I didn't see that.
Senator / Political Commentator
You haven't seen it yet.
Political News Host
Got it, Senator. Okay. Are you comfortable with the. And here's what Roger Marshall from Kansas had to say.
Senator / Political Commentator
What Trump just said, it is presser.
Donald Trump
I don't know what he just said.
Senator / Political Commentator
Well, he said he doesn't think much about the finances of the American people. I, I would have to find out the context of it. I'm sorry, got it. Things.
Political News Host
The context is what it was. And now there are concerns within Republican circles that that statement from the president is going to derail any effort to reclaim or keep the House of Representatives and the United States Senate this November. But like I said, that's not the only crisis that the Trump family or the President himself is facing. Back in February of this year, Eric Trump put out this tweet saying, quote, I am so proud to announce what will soon be the tallest building in Australia, Trump International Hotel and Tower, Gold Coast. This marks our very first venture into Australia, an extraordinary country in every respect, and I couldn't be more excited to help shape its iconic skyline forever. More to come. Okay, so that's what Eric Trump said. Now, just three months after this tweet, overnight, Australia canceled the project. There will be no Trump International Hotel and Tower on the Gold coast any longer. Why? Because, according to a developer who spoke to cnn, the project has become too toxic. The Trump family name has become too toxic. And so this 91 story building that was supposed to be the marquee building for the President's family has now become far too toxic for it to be built. Over 100,000 Australian residents signed a petition in an effort to block it. They successfully blocked it today. That's not all. Trump arrives in Beijing at the same time that where his reflecting pool project is under fire. Trump's rushed overhaul of the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting pool is now reportedly behind schedule and has serious problems. According to internal Interior Department documents obtained by the New York Times, workers have discovered bubbles and small holes in the waterproof coating of along with an uneven application of the bright American flag blue paint that Trump personally selected. It's gotten so bad that the President now says that he does not know the contractor that he has picked and that he allegedly has never used the contractor before. But that contradicts his prior statements because on April 23, he said, quote, I contracted people that have worked for me in the past doing swimming pools and one gave me a great price on the reflecting pool project. Then on May 4, Trump said, I have some very good contractors. He asked three of them to do me a favor, fellas, and go look at the reflecting pool. And the best one gave me a price. And now he's saying that he went to a contractor he did not know and has never used before. But the problem with that statement is, remember, he gave a no bid contract, meaning that there was no competition for the contractor who got the bid for the Lincoln Memorial project. They did not have to go through a vetting process. It all happened because he knew who the contractor was. He trusted the contractor. Now that the reflecting pole project is a mess, he's saying, I don't know the contractor I've never used them before. But that's also not all. New classified military intelligence assessments show Iran has regained access to most of its missile sites, launchers and underground facilities, including US intel assesses. Iran has restored operational access to 30 of the 33 missile sites and maintains along the Strait of Hormuz. And about 90% of Iran's underground missile sites are either partially or fully operational. Just 10 days into the war, Trump told CBS that Iran's missiles are down to a scatter and that the country had nothing left. In a military sense, Hexeth said that Iran's military had been decimated and rendered combat ineffective for years to come. The United States own intelligence assessment does not agree with that. But that's not all. Kash Patel is facing renewed scrutiny for comments he made about alcohol.

Sunday nights would roll around and the president would try to find me advice Sir, I am on call every day, including Sundays, except the very late evening where Sundays are for God, hockey and beer. Not in that order. And I will resurface back on very early Monday morning. It turned into Flannel Fridays because I was having this beer and I was wearing a flannel shirt. And now it's this massive thing online. I'm gonna be on the sheet playing in the beer league, having a pbr, and then I'll return your phone call. Obviously I'm kidding. But it was funny. We had this tradition every night where he would call a final final, so we'd have dinner and then we'd go somewhere and have like a final drink. Everybody should have a beer or three. It's gonna be pretty, it's gonna be pretty lit. I might have some special apparel.

We ended up in Northern Italy and we were slamming Negronis on our like last night and I was like, I need a subpoena. I went to Devin and I told him that in the morning. He goes, dude, if you're going to start drinking at 9am get out of my office. Can I be the first one to say that if I ever go before Senate confirmation, they're going to call me an alcoholic?

Aaron Parnas delivers a rapid-fire, insider-informed account of cascading crises engulfing Trump’s family, real estate ventures, and administration, all set against the backdrop of a tumultuous China trip. Blatant gaffes, political fallout, brand toxicity abroad, failed infrastructure initiatives, and even offbeat revelations about White House culture create a compelling—often chaotic—snapshot of the Trump era’s ongoing turbulence. This episode vividly illustrates how legal, political, and personal failures continue to overlap for Trump and his inner circle.
