have some big news right now. Donald Trump's plan to put ICE agents at airports is backfiring on him because at the same time that he has deployed ICE agents now to 14 airports, that number is set to grow to more in the coming days and weeks, according to Borders. Our Tom Homan. Meanwhile, TSA agents are continuing to work without pay. Americans are not happy with the fact that ICE agents have been deployed at airports and when given the opportunity to take an off ramp to fund tsa, FEMA and the Coast Guard, Donald Trump said no. He says now that the only way we're going to fund TSA agents or FEMA or the Coast Guard or any part of the Department of Homeland Security is if the United States Senate moves forward with the SAVE act, which is voter identification. Many people say it's a voter suppression bill meant to make it harder to vote. And so he's saying if you don't pass the SAVE Act, I'm not going to let you pass any legislation to pay TSA officers. And well, it's not going well for him politically because even his own Republican Majority Leader John Thune came out today and said position hasn't changed. SAVE Back doesn't really have the votes right now. Can't really do this for you, Mr. President. Make sure to like, comment, share and subscribe. The more you like, the more people see and subscribe to my substack. Click the link below to support my work. I want to begin by talking about where Donald Trump got this idea even to deploy ICE agents. According to cnn. Linda from Arizona, a caller on a conservative talk radio show might deserve the credit or the blame for ICE agents applying to airports across the United States. Today, the caller said on the Clay Travis and Buck Sexton show, I think I have a solution to the TSA problem. She said. We need to bring in ICE agents. Clay Travis says it's kind of a brilliant idea. That exchange aired on the radio on Friday afternoon. President Trump announced his vision for ICE agents Saturday afternoon. Now what happened in between? Well, apparently Travis appeared on one of Trump's favorite Fox News shows and personally pitched the idea. Now, the White House hasn't commented on whether Trump did in fact hear this segment or act accordingly, but Trump likes to watch Fox News and then post his reactions online. Now, Trump said that essentially when asked whose idea it was to deploy ICE agents, he said it was his idea. He likened it to inventing the paperclip. It was so simple. And everybody thought that, looked at it, thought, why didn't I think of that? ICE was my idea. But right now, ICE agents aren't getting a good reception in these airports. I posted a video earlier today which showed ICE agents literally running away from the fact that photographers, videographers, are trying to record them in real time, trying to record them terrorizing people as they walk into airports. In addition, public polling for ICE is really an all time low right now. More people want to abolish the agency than ever before. And, well, Donald Trump had a opportunity, apparently overnight to take an off ramp to fund tsa, not to deploy ice, to fund fema, to fund the Coast Guard. And it wouldn't touch ice, wouldn't touch cbp, CVP and ICE funding wouldn't be voted on. It would just fund all of DHS except ICE and cbp. And then they continue negotiating. He said no. And this afternoon he appeared in Memphis, Tennessee, where he talked about ice and he talked about a whole host of things. And, well, one moment kind of sparked my interest listening to it because it kind of. They're not beating the colt allegations here. Take a listen to this moment between Donald Trump, Stephen Miller, his deputy chief of staff, and Cash Patel as FBI

director that President Trump is doing not only in Memphis, not only in Washington, D.C. but all over the country. Ultimately, it will save and is saving tens of thousands of American lives. It is. I'll use that word again. What President Trump has done on border security and public safety is a national miracle that will be studied not only for generations, but for centuries to come. Thank you, President Trump. Thank you, Steve. So, Cash, see if you can top that.
Cash Patel
I don't know.
Stephen Miller
That's a tough one, Cash.
Cash Patel
That is tough. You know, Mr. President, as I look around this venue, I see and I'm reminded again why we have the greatest warriors on God's green earth. The men and women serving in uniform, the men and women serving and wearing the badge in law enforcement, our police, our sheriffs, around the state of Tennessee. I'm reminded that Americans exist to protect this country day in and day out. And they've done it like we've done it here. But what we didn't have was you. We didn't have a commander in chief who backed the blue, who resourced the blue, who funded the military, who did Whatever it takes to safeguard every single life and human. Here in Memphis, Tennessee, you have put on a show for the world. You have allowed us to go out there and capture gang bangers, rapists, murderers, drug dealers at record historic levels. And for me, a first generation Indian American kid whose parents flooded genocide in East Africa to become the ninth director of the FBI. I'm living the wildest dream you could possibly imagine, sir. But it's thanks to you. But more importantly, what I see when I look out across our great partners here is the interagency and our great legislatures and our great prosecutors and our great Attorney General who has the guts to go out there and make arrests, turn them into prosecutions and put people in prison. You are giving that dream to every single child in the state of Tennessee. You are inspiring the nation and law enforcement to come up and wear the badge and wear the colors of this country and safeguard our men and women for generations to come. This is an enduring mission, Mr. President, because you have made made it enduring. It is going to go on for generations to come. They are going to try to achieve what you accomplished here, what Stephen said in just one short year. And they are going to be doing it for decades because America was smart enough to elect you as our Commander in chief. So while we are out there fighting for the dreams of our children, just know, Mr. President, how many millions of dreams like mine are going to be lived thanks to your brilliant leadership. Mr. President, thanks for delivering America the safest, safest, safest country on God's green earth.
Stephen Miller
Thank you very much.

Literally, it was like, who can do better? They're not being beating the cult allegations much right now. But that's not all. There was this other revealing moment from this press conference or what, whatever you want to call it. Take a listen to Pam Bondi.
Pam Bondi
Mike Donovan was out there. And not only does everyone needs to know, we met with this President multiple times about this endeavor. The President knew what was going on here. The President cared. People like Alice Johnson sitting in the front row, who is a Memphis resident. She told us what a horrible crime problem there was. And I think the unsung hero in all of this is Stephen Miller. Stephen is the architect of making all of these plans work. Steven, thank you. Thank you.

I don't know that she says the truth all that often, but she definitely is telling the truth in that regard. And here is the final moment I want you to watch.
Stephen Miller
Nobody could have ever predicted such an achievement would be possible. The second thing I want to thank President Trump for is assembling the greatest national security and public safety team in American history because President Trump believes in merit, incompetence, and people who get things done. So you look around the table of who President Trump chose for these jobs. You start with Rob or Gary or Pam or Pete, Cash, Todd, Terry, the whole entire team. What President Trump put together has never been rivaled in history. That's how you get things done. He chooses people based on their skill, their competence, their ability, their determination, their dedication, and their loyalty. And you're seeing the results.
Political Commentator
Let me know what you think about that. Whether or not the people he chooses demonstrates skill, ability. Definitely loyalty. Definitely loyalty on that front. So here we are. Episode: Breaking: Trump’s Plan Backfires As ICE Agents Invade Airports
Host: Aaron Parnas
Date: March 23, 2026
In this urgent and incisive episode, Aaron Parnas dissects the latest political shake-up: former President Donald Trump’s controversial deployment of ICE agents to major U.S. airports—a plan that is rapidly backfiring. Parnas explores the origins of this drastic move, the public and political backlash, and the charged rhetoric from Trump and his allies. The episode offers a rare view into both the policy’s unintended consequences and the cult-like atmosphere surrounding Trump’s team.
Trump’s Plan Backfires:
Trump’s recent order to deploy ICE agents at 14, soon-to-be-more, U.S. airports is facing public outrage. Americans are particularly upset as TSA agents continue to work without pay during ongoing funding disputes.
(00:19)
Political Standoffs:
Trump is holding funding for TSA, FEMA, and the Coast Guard hostage, conditioning their budgets on Senate passage of the SAVE Act—a contentious voter ID bill many call voter suppression.
(00:50)
“He says now that the only way we're going to fund TSA agents or FEMA or the Coast Guard … is if the United States Senate moves forward with the SAVE act … and well, it's not going well for him politically.”
— Aaron Parnas (00:50)
Republican Pushback:
Even GOP Senate Majority Leader John Thune has publicly stated the SAVE Act lacks votes and cannot pass, pressuring Trump to reconsider but to no avail.
(01:20)
Policy Genesis:
According to CNN, this entire policy apparently started from a conservative talk radio caller named Linda (from Arizona) who suggested “bring in ICE agents” to solve the TSA shutdown on the Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show. Travis then echoed the idea on Fox News—which Trump regularly watches—leading to the plan’s real-world implementation.
(01:40)
“Trump said … he likened it to inventing the paperclip. It was so simple. And everybody … thought, why didn’t I think of that? ICE was my idea.”
— Aaron Parnas (02:15)
ICE Agents’ Public Reception:
Videos show ICE agents dodging photographers at airports and avoiding the public eye, reflecting the plan’s poor reception. Public opinion of ICE is at an all-time low, with increasing calls to abolish the agency.
(02:34)
“What President Trump has done on border security and public safety is a national miracle that will be studied … for generations, but for centuries to come. Thank you, President Trump.”
— Stephen Miller (03:53)
“What we didn’t have was you. We didn’t have a Commander in Chief who backed the blue, who resourced the blue, who funded the military … For me, a first generation Indian American kid … I’m living the wildest dream you could possibly imagine, sir. But it’s thanks to you.”
— Cash Patel (04:28)
“Literally, it was like, who can do better? They're not beating the cult allegations much right now.”
— Aaron Parnas (06:22)
Trump’s Inner Circle: Loyalty Over Skill?
Stephen Miller lauds Trump for assembling a historic security team based on “skill, competence, determination, and loyalty.” Parnas is skeptical, questioning whether Trump’s choices show skill or merely unwavering loyalty.
(07:15, 07:59)
Parnas Closes:
The episode wraps up with Parnas inviting listeners to share their views on whether Trump’s team reflects true merit or just loyalty.
On the Origin of the ICE Plan:
“According to cnn. Linda from Arizona, a caller on a conservative talk radio show might deserve the credit or blame for ICE agents applying to airports across the United States today.”
— Aaron Parnas (01:40)
On the Rally’s Tone:
“Literally, it was like, who can do better? They're not beating the cult allegations much right now.”
— Aaron Parnas (06:22)
On Team Selection:
"What President Trump put together has never been rivaled in history … He chooses people based on their skill, their competence, … and their loyalty."
— Stephen Miller (07:15)
Parnas’ Closing Skepticism:
"Let me know what you think about that. Whether or not the people he chooses demonstrate skill, ability. Definitely loyalty. Definitely loyalty on that front."
— Aaron Parnas (07:59)
Aaron Parnas maintains a sharp, analytical tone laced with skepticism and a touch of humor, especially when highlighting the surreal and sycophantic energy from Trump’s closest allies. The episode is brisk, clear, and accessible to listeners seeking both factual updates and critical perspective.
