Good morning everyone. Happy Thursday morning. There's lots of news to cover today regarding Jeffrey Epstein, the Epstein files and the upcoming hearings in the Epstein case. I have all the news for you there. In addition, the Kremlin is on high alert. Putin is paranoid. Ukraine is striking deep into Russian territory as we speak. The war in Iran is continuing to erupt and it's eventually going to impact uk, you and most Americans. Especially with cost of gas rising and America has been labeled now a quote, post literate society as readers are or the amount of people reading books and reading newspapers and reading newsletters is tanking as America struggles in literacy marks across the country. Well, between now and Todd Blanche's hearing next week, I'm going to be interviewing multiple Epstein survivors. We're going to be keeping that story front and center. Unfortunately, I did lose some paid subscribers overnight because I apparently spent too much time on Epstein and the survivors. But here's the thing. I mean, I'm not going to stop. I think the story is the modern day Watergate. It is the largest cover up in American history and I promise you I will never stop. I do want to talk about Epstein and what a lot of people should expect because right now House Democrats specifically are signaling that they are making the Epstein files Trump's Watergate. That is what they're saying this morning. They say that if they take over, they're going to make it a top priority in the House of Representatives. They're going to make sure people are brought in to testify under oath. They're going to make sure that pressure continues to build on the White House now even if they don't take over. Republicans also expect the investigation to continue, though through different reasons. They're trying to go after folks, left leaning folks, Reid Hoffman, folks like that. But Democrats say that no matter what happens, they're going to continue pushing and they're calling it Trump's Watergate. They're saying that they're not gonna stop. To me, it really seems as though the president could very well be impeached over the Epstein files, not necessarily because he's in the files, but because of the COVID up in and around the files. And we're learning today that multiple survivors of Epstein told CNN that his longtime associate Leslie Grof gave false testimony during her interview with House oversight members. Survivors say that Grof personally met them on multiple occasions, discussed their ages, handled travel documents, distributed cash payments and Broadway tickets, and was present at Epstein's New York townhouse, directly contradicting her claims that she never met the girls, never knew their ages, never handled passports, never paid them, and never entered the townhouse. The committee is actively reviewing Grof's testimony against available evidence. And Grof, while she's never been charged with the crime, she was publicly identified as a possible co conspirator in Epstein's 2008 non prosecution agreement and maintains that Epstein deceived her about his abuse. Survivors express frustration that aside from Ghislaine Maxwell, few people related to Epstein have been held accountable. And I understand that frustration. I share that frustration. But I do think the times are going to change when we talk about sexual assault, when we talk about sexual abuse. A big case that has been in the news that not many people have been talking about is the E. Jean Carroll Trump case. Ever since the Supreme Court denied Trump's appeal in the case, Trump has been working to delay, delay, delay paying out $5 million to E. Jean Carroll. Yesterday, a federal judge in the Southern District of New York ordered the immediate payment to E. Jean Carroll, saying that it must be paid out today. Then late last night, Trump filed an emergency appeal to the 2nd Circuit saying, Hold on, I shouldn't have to pay this. I'm going to try to avoid paying it. Well, the 2nd Circuit said, ha, no, you can't, denying Trump's appeal. So Trump will have to pay out the $5 million today. The the one thing is a lot of people ask, where is that money? The money's already in the court registry. So Trump is already having to pay it. He already paid it. And now it's a matter of time before Eugene Carroll earns that $5 million as a result of the sexual abuse verdict against the President of the United States of America. Now, what's interesting is that Trump continues to try to delay here, right? I mean, the Supreme Court rejected appeals. There's no future appeals that he can do here. And yet he is still working around the clock to try to prevent Eugene Carroll from getting the settlement that she, that a jury awarded her. In other news, America is now a post literate society. That's according to new reporting from the Atlantic, which shows that Americans are struggling with literacy. In 2024, in a national test, just 35% of high school seniors were proficient at skills such as analyzing complex fictional themes and evaluating the effectiveness of an author's argument that the same number scored below basic meaning that they may struggle to draw conclusions from concepts explicitly included in a text to use context clues to determine the meaning of an unknown word. Adult literacy scores have also dropped. Nearly 30% of American adults cannot paraphrase or make inferences from a multi page text. In 2017, that number was less than 20%. Americans right now in terms of reading a book on a daily basis, 30 it has dropped before. In 2017, about 28% of Americans read a novel on a daily basis or just read on a daily basis, that number has dropped to 16%. America has a literacy crisis and not many people are talking about it, unfortunately, because we have so many other things to talk about in the news, right, like the fact that Putin is on high alert because of this. These videos show Ukrainian strikes deep, deep, deep inside Russian territory, deep inside Russian territory, on oil depots across the country. Moscow is being bombarded by Ukrainian strikes. And we're now learning that the Kremlin is on high alert. Since the beginning of 2026, March of 2026, the Kremlin and Vladimir Putin have been concerned about a leak of sensitive information and about the risk of a plot or coup attempt against a Russian president. And as a result, they're cracking down. Visitors to the presidential administration undergo two levels of screening, including a full body search. No visits to military infrastructure have been allowed this year and much more. Putin is terrified about his own safety and about his own future as Ukraine continues to strike deep, deep, deep inside Russian territory. And so we're going to have to see what that means for Putin next. Now, in other news, there is the war in Iran still continuing. It is ramping up overnight. Here are videos of strikes on Bahrain. This is a video of a ballistic missile striking Bahrain, an Iranian ballistic missile. We have a video from Iran showing where the United States targeted civilian infrastructure, specifically railway infrastructure in northern Iran. And so what we're at right now is the United States and Iran are actively exchanging major military strikes. Trump has declared the ceasefire over. The US military says it struck roughly 90 Iranian targets, including missile sites, air defense systems, drone facilities, naval assets, and logistical infrastructure, including a nuclear power plant. Iran is accusing the United States of targeting civilian infrastructure, such as these railway bridges. Iran's health ministry says that at least 14 people were killed and 78 have been wounded during the ongoing strikes. So we're going to see what the next several days brings. The Senate is back in session next week on the Todd Blanche hearing.
