Huge, huge, huge breaking news. I have never thought I would see the day the Trump administration's Department of justice just admitted that Donald Trump lied. Just admitted they admitted it. We know that Donald Trump lies. It happens all the time. Happens every day, twice a day, three times a day, four times a day. But literally seconds ago in a court filing, the Trump Department of Justice says Trump lied. No one vandalized the reflecting pool. Remember how Trump has been talking about this massive gash in the reflecting pool? It's all bullshit. It's all bullshit. And the Department of Justice just said so in court. Because seconds ago the Trump Justice Department issued a filing in a case involving an Olympian by the name of David Hearn. If you don't know who David Hearn is, he is an Olympian. He competed on behalf of the United States of America and he was indicted by the Trump Justice Department for destruction of federal government property. Facing up to 10 years in prison for allegedly vandalizing the reflecting pool. We all knew that was bullshit. We knew that never happened. Well, tonight they're dropping the charges. And this court filing, what I'm about to show you, everyone needs to see. Because Jeanine Pirro, and in this filing completely throws her boss under the bus, Completely throws her boss under the bus. Says that there was no vandalism, that it was a shoddy job done by a pool contractor given a no bid contract. Insanity. I never thought I'd see today. Make sure to hit that subscribe button. It begins by saying, by saying, and this is, this is pretty crazy to me. Okay, you ready? Department of Interior provided less than fulsome information at the outset of this case. However, the information subsequently demanded by U.S. attorneys offices disclosed by the Department of Interior which was not known to the prosecutors or the grand jury before the return of the indictment strongly suggests that a rushed and botched installation by aic, the primary contractor, led to the damage to the lining of the reflecting pool. It was not until the U.S. attorney's office repeatedly reached out to the Department of Interior dozens and dozens of times, that Department of Interior slowly started trickling information to the U.S. attorney's office. Had the Department of Interior been forthcoming with the information clearly in its possession, the government would not have sought a grand jury indictment. Furthermore, prosecutors have an obligation pursuant to Brady and Rule 16 of the Superior Court of the Rules of Criminal Procedure to produce information to defense. The Department of Interior's failure to fully and accurately provide information to the U.S. attorney's office undermined the government's ability to abide by these responsibilities. So what they're saying is Department of Interior Doug Burgum, you're getting not only getting thrown under the bus, the bus is rolling over you multiple times because it was the fault of the Department of Interior. They didn't give over documents and it was a botched installation of the reflecting pool. But wait, it gets better. Based upon the initial reports provided by the Department of Interior, the U.S. attorney's Office for the District of Columbia presented the grand jury with evidence that damage to the reflecting pool was caused by vandals, including David Hearn. However, it was not until after the return of the indictment that the Department of Interior provided additional documents to the U.S. attorney's office indicating that damage to the reflecting pool was the result of a flawed installation by the contractor and Atlantic Industrial Coatings and the rush to complete the project prior to events associated with America 250 celebrations in the weeks surrounding Independence Day 2026. It was not until after these documents were produced that the U.S. attorney's office first became aware of information showing that damage was the result of a botched installation, not vandalism. They are admitting there were no vandals. How many times? How many times did Donald Trump claim that there was vandalism, that someone vandalized this reflecting pool, that there was this giant gash in the reflecting pool? How many times? Probably at least five times, probably more. And yet there was no vandalism. They say there was no vandalism. Stunning. But it continues. On July 17, 2026, as a defense expert inspected a now drained reflecting pool, US Attorney Pirro and senior DC Employees once again visited the site and this time immediately noted extensive damage throughout the now drained pool. It was at the time that the U.S. attorney's office first became aware of significant damage throughout the pool and accordingly requested all documents from Department of Interior concerning how the pool was lined and all records regarding the installation of the lining. Based on this request, they received 695 megabytes of additional documents from the Department of Interior which took days to review. These documents indicated a rushed and flawed installation process with repeated failures of the lining during the installation process and extensive peeling of the lining throughout the reflecting pool. It was the first time the U.S. attorney's office became aware but wait. It gets better. It gets better. The U.S. attorney's Office review of the recently provided documents by the Department of Interior revealed that Atlantic Industrial Coatings was selected as the sole source contractor for installation of the reflecting pole lining. Installation began on May 5 but was delayed to May 6 due to rainfall. On May 7, installation continued with cleaning and organizing the construction site and the spraying of Rhino 406 to coat a bunch of things. Then they had expansion joints, yada yada yada. Okay, but they were being pushed. There was an email in a May 7 email that it was already behind schedule. They were rushing this because they wanted it done by Trump's celebration deadline and it continued. They spray. They spray. They spray. They had further delays, Further delays. Further further delays. Wait till you see this bombshell. They have an email. This is an email written by the national park employee internally. Hello all. This morning an area of the reflecting pool coating was identified to be peeling. NAMA staff was notified and I was able to inspect the area. Below are some notes on my observation and conversation with the contractor. Only the top layer of liner has peeled. This is very thin and will not impact the strength of the liner. The color underneath the peel is still dark America flag blue. The total peel area is small. The contractors say the peel area was overspray. I stated my concern that this is overspray along the perimeter of the pool could lead to a one to two foot strip that is vulnerable to peeling. Contractor would not confirm. So the contractor was like telling them a false bill of goods, right? Was lying to this National Park Service employee this entire time. And as a result, almost immediately after the work was completed, peeling was observed along the pool perimeter. The National Park Service Engineers June 11, 2026 email stated that the cause of the damage was contractor error via overspray that the peeled lining would not float and that the peeling would not impact the strength of the liner. The engineer's report also suggests that removing the liner at the perimeter would have no negative impacts on the economic value of the liner. Moreover, the July 20, 2026 inspection by contractors confirmed that overspray and delimination and had occurred, again pointing to contractor error. Finally, a recent visual inspector showed damage throughout the reflecting pool, even in the middle of the pool, where a vandal would not likely attempt to peel the lining. Given all of this newly discovered information, it is difficult to attribute the widespread damage through the reflecting pool to vandalism, let alone to establish that fact beyond a reasonable doubt. They are admitting that Donald Trump is a liar. That Donald Trump is a liar, but also Judge Jeanine Pirro is. You're a liar, too.

There was an effort, a violent effort to rip up the sealant from the bottom of the pool. And irrespective of whether or not, you know, we think that, you know, there. There is some situation that preceded it, we can state and prove beyond a reasonable doubt that he caused damage. And that damage is over $1,000.

It didn't peel off. There was. There was. There was vandalism. There was box. Box cutters. There have been seven arrests. There was people literally trying to destroy part of a monument. The reflecting pool is not just a pool on the Mall. It is part of the Lincoln Memorial. And if anybody says that they're going to go and vandalize that, it's no different than if someone was throwing.

Dana, I'm not sure why you and others in the media think that you want to keep trying to question whether or not this is an industrial liner. Every farmer and rancher in America that's had their pickup liner lined by this sprayed on liner knows that you literally, literally, it would never just like peel off or fall off. This is like a strong material and it's the size of eight football fields. And the only way you can end up with actual slices in one spot and not the other is that some, someone physically cut it. And so the. But the pool itself, it's not leaking. It was leaking 45,000 gallons a day. It's finally been fixed by President Trump and the American flag blue is working perfectly. And again, it's beyond me why. I mean, the real scandal is about the fact that the state of our capital was in such total disrepair that some people. No one was reporting about. I reporting about the pro Hamas graffiti on the, the.
