just returned home after going to the George Washington University Hospital, the hospital where Senator Mitch McConnell from Kentucky currently is at. I was able to confirm he's still there based on the police presence right outside. We're going to talk about his Capitol Police detail detail. But Mitch McConnell is still inside that hospital 39 days after originally being admitted. See, outside the hospital you can see where a security detail is at. Getting inside, though, that's another task. The hospital is generally closed off to almost any outside visitor. You can't just go in unless you're a patient, a visitor of a patient, or if you want to just visit the hospital cafeteria, which I went to take a look at. But other than that, everyone is mum. They're quiet. They're terrified about possibly breaking HIPAA and providing information to a reporter like me about the status of Mitch McConnell. But I was able to glean some things and I want to tell you about them this afternoon. Because right now McConnell is facing a bevy of calls for resignation. He's facing calls for returning back to the United States Senate from his own Republican colleagues, and his staff is running away when asked any simple question. And it all comes as McConnell himself, by being absent from the Senate, is violating a Senate rule. The question remains, will his Republican colleagues, who control the Senate agenda, enforce the rules that he is violating, like comment, share get the word out so people see what I saw on the ground. In front of the George Washington University Hospital. I took this, take a look. Right now I'm here right outside of

the George Washington University Hospital. Right inside there, that's where Mitch McConnell is allegedly still a patient at. Now, right out front, there isn't much attention. You can't actually walk into this hospital unless you have permission to be there. If you're a patient, if you're visiting a patient, you can theoretically go into the food court cafeteria, which I did. But your movement is very heavily restricted. And that's normal in all hospitals, but especially in this one, where McConnell currently is. Now you have what appear to be Capitol Police related, his detail vehicles out front to the extent that those are his, but we don't really get much information. Everyone I've spoken to out here has been relatively mum about the fact that McConnell's inside. Ultimately, it's been 39 plus days since McConnell has entered this hospital in an ambulance. He still hasn't exited. So I'm gonna poke around, I'm gonna see if I can get any more information. But here's where things stand.

That's where things stand right now, based on what I saw inside. But On Capitol Hill, McConnell's own aides are refusing to answer any basic questions about his whereabouts.

Kentucky Republican Senator Mitch McConnell has been out of the Senate for about five weeks, since June 14th. When he entered the hospital. I tried to get more information about his condition from his press secretary. Stephanie, can you tell us if you're going to release a video of Senator McConnell instead of just the statement that was put out? A lot of people are questioning if it was a current photo on social media. You guys going to try to put it to rest and put out a video? Anything you could say, ma', am, to update the public about Senator McConnell's. Do you have any comment at all about his condition and whether he's on life support?

His own staff, they don't want to answer any questions. They're running from him. And outside of the hospital, if you saw in my video, which I'll pull up right now again for you to see, I'm here right outside those black cars at the top right of my head, those are his security details. That is Capitol Police right there in those black expedition cars. He's inside that hospital. The question is is he alive? What is his condition? And more we don't know. Here is I'm going to show you right now a better image taken by the Daily Beast of what his security detail looks like. It's the same today. Just give me one moment to pull it up because they're about two expedition vehicles, two black cars or so, two to three black cars, and they just kind of hang out out front and they just stay there throughout the entire day. No one's in there. Can't really ask anyone questions. Here's what it looks like right now. Let me show you. These are the vehicles and they're the same vehicles that were out front today when I was there. They're the same vehicles that have been out there for the past 39 days. Now he is facing calls for resignation and he is violating a key Senate rule. And I think that at a certain point we have to be asking where he is. I understand that people have a right to medical privacy and to deal with their issues, but we do not have the right to disappear from our jobs without explanation.
