Mitch McConnell has been discharged from the hospital, but I still got questions, as do many people on Capitol Hill, questions that his team refuses to answer. Meanwhile, Todd Blanche's confirmation could actually be in trouble again because you have at least one Republican senator voting no, a second one saying her constituents don't want her to vote for Todd Blanche, all while Todd Blanche is being hauled to court hold to court to explain why he did not provide more information in response to a federal judge's order concerning the lawsuit brought forth by Katie Fang. Here's what happened when they were asked today, by the way, outside of Mitch McConnell's home, there really isn't much.

Kentucky Republican Senator Mitch McConnell first entered the hospital back on June 14th. Since then, he released some statements as well as two photos posing alongside his wife, Elaine Chow. He was discharged today. A statement was released saying he was discharged. I'm at the home right now and I wanted to just give you a look here at the scene. You see the vehicles for his security detail here, And that is the house and this is the street, and there's a second vehicle further up the street. So McConnell was discharged from a rehabilitation center. He was first admitted to the hospital, George Washington University hospital, back on June 14th.

But his Republican colleagues haven't really heard from him, have not visited him in the facility. Here's what Majority Leader John Thune had to say about Mitch McConnell.

So, Leader, do you want to see Mitch McConnell put out a video of some sort? Put out a video, Mr. McConnell, Sir. So do you think McConnell needs to put out some sort of video to show his condition to the public? McConnell.

That's all we got. That's all we got from Republicans on Capitol hill. Now, Mitch McConnell's not coming back anytime soon. The Senate's about to head into recess for the month of August. They won't be back until mid September, at which point we will see if McConnell is back. For the last few weeks of the legislative calendar, remember, the senators work less than you do, so they actually don't work every single day of the year. There are truly only about a month worth of legislative working days between now and January, which is when the new United States Senate will take over and Mitch McConnell will not be a part of it. Now on the Epstein front, big news today out of Katie Feng's lawsuit. A federal judge in D.C. is hauling Todd Blanche and the Department of Justice to court to explain the several things. The first, explain why Katie Feng essentially why in response to Katie Fang, they did not comply with the court's order concerning documentation to support the assertions made for redactions to the Epstein files. That's number one. In addition, that quote, all redactions must be accompanied by a written justification published in the federal registered and submit to Congress. That has not happened yet. That has not happened yet and the judge wants to know why. And tonight, Senator Lisa Murkowski key vote in Todd Blanch's confirmation is sounding the alarm because her constituents say we don't want you voting for him.
