Good evening, everyone. Lots of news to cover today, from massive possible corruption over the explosive diarrhea outbreak in the United States between Taylor Farms, the Trump administration, the FDA and more to the fact that Trump is now imposing 50% tariffs on most Canadian goods, all while talking about how Canadian wildfire smoke is invading the United States of America. Kash Patel is heading over to Moscow on a very unusual trip for the FBI director. Iran strikes continue for the 10th day in a row as the United States has been accused of covering up the number of casualties, injuries, deaths in the war in Iran and so much more. My daughter had an allergic reaction to her ear infection and, well, it's been a day to say the least. But the news does not stop, not for anything. She is resting right now and I'm going to go to her right afterwards. I want to talk about what's happening with the explosive diarrhea outbreak in the United States of America, because I think that's the biggest story that not many people are talking about. And so you should spread the word on. So right now, as you know, there are thousands of cases of cyclosporasis, which is the infection from cyclospora, a bacteria that causes or parasite that causes explosive diarrhea in those who contract it. It's a very serious illness. It hasn't caused death in the United States, but it's caused plenty of hospitalizations and like I said, thousands of infections specifically located in the Midwest in states like Michigan and Ohio. And while many people were like, well, where did this come from? Right. How did we not know this was happening? Well, we do know that the Trump administration under Doge, repeatedly cut critical monitoring programs for this parasite. They essentially told states, you don't have to report cyclosporasis cases any longer. And so several states said, you know, we're not going to do it. We don't need to. It's a waste of money, essentially. Well, now it's no longer a waste of money. It's kind of like if you don't test, you won't ever see cases. It's kind of similar. But now we learned over the past several days that this outbreak was linked to a company called Taylor Farms and the iceberg lettuce that it sells, the iceberg lettuce specifically shredded lettuce coming from central Mexico. And they have to even put out A bologna, an alert saying don't eat from certain Taco Bell restaurants in several states because of the iceberg lettuce. Not sure why they put the onus on just Taco Bell given the fact that Taylor Farms distributes lettuce to a whole host of restaurants and companies. But that is what happened. And then over the weekend, something changed. And let's talk about what happened. The timeline. See, In March of 2025, Taylor Farms contributed $1 million to the Make America Great Again, Inc. Pack. That is the super PAC preferred super PAC for Donald Trump. Lots of money flows through there that he then uses to help elect candidates across the country. And it came just days after the FDA delayed this food traceability rule. The food traceability rule relates to tracing parasites and bacteria in foods. Okay, that happened in March 2025. Seems like a small quid pro quo. We give you a million bucks, the president in exchange delay this rule. Okay? Now, a year later, the FDA informed Taylor Farms that were one of its iceberg lettuce products tested positive for cyclospora, prompting a voluntary recall. Now here's where things get interesting, because during the outbreak, a New York Times reporter confirmed that Taylor Farms actually hired a Trump White House official to help with the crisis comms. Last week, Taylor Farms executives met with the White House and FDA officials where the company challenged aspects of the government's outbreak conclusions. And this is interesting. Top executives from Taylor Farms went to the White House and said, your conclusions, well, they're a bit off. The conclusion was that Taylor Farms was linked to the outbreak. Then over the past several hours, Taylor Farms claimed publicly that the FDA apologized to the company that the positive test on the Taylor Farms iceberg lettuce sample was a false positive and proceeded to state that no Taylor Farms product has ever tested positive for cyclospore. Now, that statement from Taylor Farms is a bit unusual, but it's also a bit misleading because the iceberg lettuce that was tested that had the false positive wasn't part of the list of voluntary removals, voluntary recalls for iceberg lettuce in the United States. So essentially, the FDA was testing, well, hey, can we see whether or not we have to expand this recall list or we could just limit it to the ones that we already presume have the bacteria. Taylor Farms misled the public a bit here and it forced the FDA to respond, saying the false positive lab does not change the basis for FDA's ongoing outbreak investigation or their overwhelming epidemiological data supporting the current voluntary recall by Taylor Farms over the weekend, FDA alerted Taylor Farms that a new sample of shredded lettuce from Taylor Farms to Mexico tested positive for cyclospora during import examination at the southern border. This ended up being a false positive and Taylor Farms was alerted to the corrective test result Sunday. FDA's traceback investigation and outbreak data continued to converge on shredded iceberg lettuce from Taylor Farms locations in central Mexico. And so what's interesting here is that Taylor Farms is donating to maga. Trump is walking back claims, walking back positive tests. In a way, there's a lot doctors are saying we can't really trust the FDA in this moment. And it really just reeks of corruption. It comes at a time where the Trump administration has imposed 50% tariffs on most Canadian goods, from dairy to alcohol and liquor to cars to lumber and everything you could think of really, that Americans use. And the reason why, they say, is due to discriminatory trade practices by Canada. But it also comes as Trump has been trying to punish Canada for wildfire smoke that he says has, quote, invaded the United States of America. And so now we have 50% tariffs on Canadian goods. In addition, cash Patel is planning to visit Russia later this year, likely in mid October, according to Politico. Pretty unusual and sensitive trip for an FBI chief to go to one of America's top adversaries. Plans come as Washington and Moscow continue to be at odds over the war in Ukraine and the US Lawmakers are now demanding an imposition of heavy new sanctions on Russia. That's the Lindsey Graham bill that has been slow walk through the United States Congress but is picking up some speed. Speaking about Lindsey Graham, his sister Darlene Graham announced today that she's going to run for a six year term in the United States Senate to continue her brother's legacy. That's what she says. And it all comes as her brother's legacy in a way is being continued tonight because once Again, for the 10th day in a row, US forces have begun to strike Iran. And it all happens while the New York Times is accusing the Trump administration of actively concealing the true nature of the number of deaths and casualties and injuries inside the war in Iran. We've learned today that hundreds of troops were actually injured during the war and they just didn't really report on it. And the reason they're giving is they don't want to give Iran a rallying cry around American troop casualties. But on the flip side, the question is, are you really being transparent with the American public when you're concealing the amount of casualties in this war. American taxpayer dollars are being sent overseas right now to fight a war that they didn't vote for. See their representatives, their constituents of members of Congress, their members of Congress did not vote to launch a war with Iran. And so we're in a situation now where Americans are being duped and lied to on an everyday basis as the Trump administration actively conceals a true extent damage devastation the United States is experiencing overseas in Iran. So the question is, how do we get the truth out of the Trump administration? And the only way to do so is to continue pushing.
