Mike Johnson won't talk about it. John TH Won won't talk about it. Fox News won't talk about it. No one is talking about it all. While Canada is continuing to be ravaged with wildfires, the United States is amping up pressure, threatening more sanctions, more tariffs, declaring Canadians Persona non grata. Russia is burning this morning after Ukrainian strikes. Iran has officially pulled out of the Memorandum of Understanding from Islamabad and more. And when the truth is the Trump administration right now is working to conduct firings and closures of key election related offices across the federal government. See over the past several weeks and days leading up to and after Trump's election denialism speech addressed to the nation, Trump administration eliminated and sidelined thousands of federal employees and programs protecting elections. CISA lost nearly a thousand workers. About one third of its staff had ended partnerships that helped state and local election offices monitor cyber threats, forcing them to rely more heavily on their own limited resources. The administration has dissolved the FBI's Foreign Influence Task Force, weakened the intelligence community's Foreign Malign Influence center and close the State Department office that counted foreign disinformation. Justice Department has redirected voting rights personnel toward voter roll maintenance and suspected fraud. And the White House has remained has removed the remaining leadership of the bipartisan Election Assistance Commission. Administration officials say that these changes reduce duplication, prevent politicized enforcement and prioritize essential work. But state officials and Democratic lawmakers warn that they leave elections more vulnerable to cyber attacks and foreign influence, which is what the president spoke about Tuesday or Thursday night. But the President's address to the nation is one that even Republicans are trying to avoid because two days after Trump devoted a heavily promoted primetime address largely to disputed claims and conspiracy theories about the 2020 election, Republican leadership is now urging members of Congress to ignore the speech and the contents within it. Republican congressional leaders Mike Johnson, John Thune issued no statements about the speech. Fox and Friends ignored it during its entire three hour Friday broadcast. Although some Trump aligned Republicans praised the address. Strategists and lawmakers are privately suggesting that revisiting the 2020 election is not going to help anyone across the country. It's not going to help candidates facing voters who are concerned with inflation, health care, cost of living and more. And documents released alongside the speech showed internal debate about China's preference for Trump to lose, but reportedly still concluded that Beijing did not intend to interfere with separate claims about the 250,000 foreign nationals on voter rolls relied on disputed methods. It just didn't work. It didn't work. Trump claimed that China elicited 220 million US voter files. However, much of the cited information, including names, addresses, phone numbers and party affiliations, well, they're largely accessible, largely accessible to anyone who wants them across the country right now. And it comes today as the president and Republicans in Congress for amping up pressure on Canada. President Trump and several Republican lawmakers have threatened punitive action now against Canada over wildfire smoke that has created hazardous air quality across parts of the United States of America and will likely have hazardous air quality ahead of the World cup final in MetLife Stadium in New Jersey this weekend. Now, as you know, Trump accused Canada failing to maintain its forests and suggested adding existing costs to tariffs. Republican Senator Bernie Moreno from Ohio has now officially introduced legislation that would sanction responsible Canadian officials, revoke their visas, declare Canada's ambassador Persona non grata, and study a tariff funded compensation program. Environmental experts rejected those proposals, arguing that extreme heat and climate change have dried Canada's forests and made its wildfires more intense and difficult to control. So while Canada is helping the United States, this is where the United States is at with Canada. Now I'm going to show you a couple videos from Moscow this morning. Before I do, Iran has officially pulled out of the Memorandum of Understanding agreed to in Islamabad.

We have not had any contact from the Americans for a few days regarding the negotiations. Look, the negotiations we were in, unfortunately, the Americans themselves actually committed these aggressive acts in violation of their own commitments under the Memorandum of Understanding. In this regard. What we are facing now is the defense of our country, unified and decisive. I think the Americans have received their answer this time as well, that these aggressive actions of theirs will lead nowhere. And in fact, if they are wise, they should choose other solutions. But for us, the path ahead is the firm defense of our country and teaching the aggressors a lesson. You see in practice, America has trampled on all its commitments and halted them all. We too, under that Memorandum of Understanding, which was actually called the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding, have also halted all of our commitments and are in fact no longer implementing them.
