location Senate Republicans erupted at Donald Trump this afternoon, getting into a screaming match with him. One Senate Republican called Trump his quote brother, refusing to use the moniker Mr. President. They got into a screaming match over the save act over Iran, and over the fact that today there was supposed to be a major bill signing of housing housing legislation, bipartisan legislation that Trump was intending to sign today until last minute he polled it, embarrassing his Republican colleagues in the House and the Senate. An eruption happened and it came as poll numbers for the president economically continue to fall as the White House seeks to institutionalize disabled Americans. And as Trump says, everything is going to be fine. And yet at the same time, the Justice Department is now trying to quietly make it so that the Attorney General of the United States could literally choose which prison you go to. If you support the President, you go to a halfway house. If you oppose the president, it's maximum security for you and your loved ones. Make sure to like comment, share and if you can subscribe to my substack link below to support my work, we're building something and to all those who already have, know that you mean the world to me. You guys have given me the best job in the world and we're just getting started. This afternoon, Senator Bill Cassidy and others started screaming at President Trump. Cassidy confronted Trump over the Iran memorandum of understanding. Cassidy was yelling at Trump. Trump also went after Senator Dave McCormick, the Republican senator from Pennsylvania. And, well, the reason he did so was because McCormick missed yesterday's war powers vote when the United States Senate symbolically rebuked the president and successfully passed a resolution to rein in his war powers when it came to the war in Iran by a vote of 50 to 48. But worth noting, McCormick was with Trump at a Pennsylvania rally. Even if he were at the Capitol, the resolution would still have passed because Mitch McConnell was absent. But that's not all. We also learned that Bill Cassidy stopped calling Donald Trump Mr. President and instead started calling Trump, quote, brother, was refusing to call Trump by his formal title. It underscored growing tensions within the Republican caucus over the administration's recent actions. Trump himself kept pushing the SAVE Act. The SAVE Act. He even canceled a bill signing event today. On housing. The earlier today there was supposed to be a major bill signing. You guys may have heard of it. There was housing legislation. Housing legislation that was set to. It was bipartisan legislation. It was supposed to provide more housing for folks across the country. Only five senators voted against it. And abruptly, Trump canceled it last minute, sending out this truth social post. Now leaving this Republican conference lunch, Bill Cassidy had a lot to say.
Senator Bill Cassidy
Take a listen the American people, what's going on? It was supposed to last four weeks. It's lasted four months. Our original objective objectives have not been achieved and I want to know what's going on. He did not particularly care for my comments. Raised his voice. I lost my temper. That's not appropriate. It's the Irishman. But I again matched his tone and his volume and went back and forth.
News Reporter
I matched his tone, matches volume, lost my temper. Not very Irish of me. That's the Republican senator. And for the first time you see Republican senators willing to literally scream at the president of the United States. And it comes as Trump's approvals.
Senator Bill Cassidy
It is upside down when it comes to economic thought.
News Reporter
Why is that?
Senator Bill Cassidy
Gasoline is a big indicator that's going to come down and people are spending.
News Reporter
It's underwater. That's Trump's approval rating. Just 31% of Americans, according to Fox News, believe that Trump is doing a good job on the economy. 68% more than two thirds of the American public, that's a number of Republicans as well, do not approve of the president's performance on the economy. These numbers hold. It is bad news bears for Republicans heading into the midterm elections. And well, it comes as Trump is facing more questions about who bombed the school in Iran, the all girls school. Today, for the first time, he's saying, I don't think it was us.
Senator Bill Cassidy
What do you think, Mr. President? We've taken the investigation very seriously and when the appropriate time is right, whatever that outcome is, that will be the time to divulge.
News Reporter
I mean, if you come up with the right answer.
Senator Bill Cassidy
I don't think it's going to be us.
News Reporter
I don't think it was us.
Senator Bill Cassidy
There were a lot of missiles being fired at that time. Yeah, please.
News Reporter
I don't think it was us. I don't think it's going to be us. Well, the truth is nearly every single major media organization and analysis conducted by independent geospatial folks and OSINT folks all have confirmed that it was likely the United States of America, a missile that shot and either misfired or intentionally hit an all girls school in southern Iran and Minab, Iran. It comes this afternoon as the Trump administration's Department of justice is taking serious action quietly. I need you to hear this from Liz Oyer.
Liz Oyer
Hey, everybody. I stumbled upon a bombshell while I was doing some research on Todd Blanche. I don't think it's been reported anywhere else, so let me break it to you. I'm Liz Oyer, the former pardon attorney for the Department of Justice. Six weeks ago, the Justice Department quietly adopted a new policy that gives the Attorney General the power to send any federal prisoner to any prison in the country. If you are facing a federal prison sentence, Todd Blanche has total discretion to decide where you'll serve your time. This is a huge deal, and it's a huge departure from past practice. Under this rule, Blanche could direct the Bureau of Prisons to put anyone who opposes the Trump administration in a maximum security prison. If you're prosecuted for protesting ice, for example, or for vandalizing Trump's reflecting pool, you could serve your sentence alongside murderers and rapists. Blanche could decide to put all of Trump's enemies in maximum security prisons. He could put all Democrats in maximum security prisons. There are no limits, no checks, and no review of his decisions. That is very, very scary. Trump would love to be able to just disappear his political opponents and this is a step in that direction. On the flip side, this policy permits preferential treatment for Trump's allies. If you're maga, you might go to a minimum security camp or if you've got a couple million bucks to spe, you could buy your way into a halfway house or even home detention. That's exactly what's happening with pardons Under Donald Trump. The wealthy and the well connected are paying for special treatment

fund that we keep talking about may actually still exist. Because Todd Blanche, the acting attorney general, has refused, refused to officially say it's actually done, refused to say it won't go forward, that his DOJ won't pursue it, refused court orders to do that. And this afternoon, a Republican, Bill Cassidy and the Democrat Cory Booker, are sending the following letter about their concerns to the Attorney General and it all comes as White House Stephen Miller and the White House. They're driving an effort to try to authorize states to institutionalize disabled Americans rather than fund community based care. Stephen Miller says that he believes essentially that if you don't institutionalize disabled Americans, it'll lead to an increase in homelessness. Serious. And it's happening right now.
