Epstein survivor is speaking out in front of the United States Senate. It's not easy for survivors to do this, to put themselves on the line in front of questioning, in front of United States Senators to speak out about what they believe in. In this case, to vote no against Attorney General Todd Blanche's confirmation. And based on what I'm hearing, his confirmation is no longer a foregone conclusion. You see, behind the scenes, there is a major battle going on between the White House and survivors. The battle is simple. Can John Cornyn and Thom Tillis be flipped to voting for or against Blanche? And right now, it's no certainty that either of them will vote to confirm Blanche because they are a package deal. It comes as the United States House of representatives has passed $1.15 trillion in a budget NDAA, the National Defense Authorization act, which includes Section 219 that would create one of the largest cooperation efforts between the United States and a foreign military we've ever seen before, United States and Israel. And while Trump is facing significant criticism because while he is seeking to bring America to bomb his eighth country, the country of Mali, he's telling reporters, well, he here's the thing, troops in Iran who died said that Iran should never have a nuclear weapon without any evidence of them ever saying that. You see, right now, survivors are putting significant pressure on senators, specifically John Cornyn from Texas and Thom Tillis from North Carolina to vote against Todd Blanche's confirmation. Both vote no. It's dead, it's done. Because Mitch McConnell, well, he's nowhere to be found. And today, Liz Stein, an Epstein survivor, took to the witness stand and made clear that she wants senators to vote no. This is not easy for anyone to do, let alone an Epstein survivor, and I need you to hear her words loud and clear.

The question before us is whether Todd Blanche has demonstrated the judgment, independence and fidelity to the rule of law required to serve as Attorney General of the United States. I respectfully submit that he has not. My name is Liz Stein. I'm an Epstein survivor. More than 30 years ago, I was trafficked and sexually abused by Jeffrey Epstein and his co conspirators. As I was graduating college and starting out on my own, my involvement with Epstein and his co conspirators changed the trajectory of my entire adult life. For years, the Epstein case has been treated like entertainment in this country and has been wrongfully infused with political emotion. Republicans versus Democrats, Conspiracy or cover up? That framing is wrong at its core. The Epstein case is about one the crime of sex trafficking. More than 1,000 vulnerable girls and young women were groomed, trafficked and abused in a system Jeffrey Epstein and his co conspirators built around power, coercion, exploitation and access to wealth and influence. I know because I was one of them. My opposition to Mr. Blanche's confirmation is not based on politics, but because this is not a political issue for us. It is based on the Department of Justice's failure to faithfully implement the Epstein Files Transparency Act. The handling of the Epstein case sends a dangerous message to victims of crime all across this country that the powerful are protected over the vulnerable and that our federal law enforcement cares about the status quo and not the American people.

That's directly from Liz Stein, but that's not the only moment you need to hear from her, because she continued to rip into Blanche. During his confirmation hearing, survivors have requested

meetings with the Department of Justice, and those requests went unanswered. Last week, Senator Thom Tillis urged Blanche to meet a group of Epstein survivors and during Blanche's Senate Judiciary hearing and expressed that he expected the meeting to occur before he would be willing to vote out. Around four hours later, Epstein survivors, myself included, finally met face to face with Todd Blanche. Rather than listening to survivors or engaging seriously with the evidence and concerns that we presented, Blanche dismissed many of our questions. He provided inaccurate and misleading information and would not give us the slightest indication that he believes there are investigative leads in the files. Survivors left that meeting feeling dismissed and demoralized. We did not leave believing that the Department of Justice was committed to. To restoring our trust and pursuing accountability. When Senator Tillis urged Blanche to meet with survivors, I believe he wanted a productive, good faith meeting to occur between the parties. I doubt that his intent was for Todd Blanche to hold the meeting solely as a means of checking a box in response to an ultimatum which was conditional to for his promotion to Attorney General.

And it comes this afternoon as the House of Representatives has passed via a 212 to 200. Sorry, 216 to 212 vote, a bill to fund the United States Pentagon by a vote of 216 to 212. Okay, okay. $1.15 trillion bill now. The lawmakers who crossed the aisle were Republican Representatives Josh Breachen, Tim Burchett, Eli Crane, Harriet Hageman, Thomas Massie, and Chip Roy. Democratic representatives that voted for this bill included Henry Cuellar, Don Davis, Jared Golden, Vicente Gonzalez, Adam Gray, and Marie Glusingham Perez. And it comes as Donald Trump has signed an agreement with the Saudis to give Saudi Arabia the ability to enrich uranium on the path towards a nuclear weapon. It comes, as we learned today, that the Trump administration is actively weighing the bombing of their eighth country, the country of Mali in Africa to target Al Qaeda in Mali. And it all comes as Trump is now putting words inside the mouth of US Service members who have passed away during his war in Iran.
