Happy Friday morning. Get ready for a busy news update. We have news regarding the war in Iran as the President and his team scrubbed the names of four United States service members from the death toll in the war in Iran, reducing it from 18 to 14. Because the four service members who died, well, they didn't die during an act of war, according to the administration, but rather during a ceasefire period. The Trump administration is being slammed for reducing and concealing the true number of deaths. I have the names of the service members so that we can remember them, and it comes as Trump, behind the scenes, lashed out in a quote expletive laced rant as the war in Iran cannot end anytime soon. Meanwhile, the administration has greenlit the killing, harassing and trapping of various endangered species, including the Florida manatee and much more. A lot of you have asked whether I'm going to the White House Correspondents Dinner tonight. I am not. I don't believe in going to a room where a President who attacks the First Amendment who denigrates the First Amendment will be speaking and making fun of journalists like me. But I also Tonight want to focus on other stories like the Epstein survivors who still have not gotten any justice or accountability 30 years after first reporting the horrific abuses of Epstein and Maxwell. And today, speaking of folks who are not getting accountability, it's the service members in Iran. New New York Times reporting and actually Midas touched on this first several days ago, shows that the United States Pentagon reported on its casualty website that a total of 18American service members had been killed on Wednesday. By overnight last night, the Defense Department had lowered that number, reporting that 14American troops had been killed in the war. According to multiple military officials that spoke with the New York Times. The reason behind the change was that the Trump administration the decided to remove four service members killed this past weekend from the list, three in Jordan, one in northern Iraq because their deaths occurred after Donald Trump declared a ceasefire in the war in April. They are just removing the number of deaths. And while the president has repeatedly complained over the past several weeks of the fact that the death toll in Iran is rising. But I want to take this morning to talk about the four service members who died, who the Trump administration scrubbed from its data. First Lieutenant Tyler Feehan, Sergeant Angel Rampersad, Private Isabel Gonzalez and Sergeant Michael Swinton. We're going to go through each one. I'm going to talk to you about who they are and their background. This right here. The first service member who died this past weekend is First Lieutenant Tyler Feehan. U.S. army Lieutenant Tyler James Feehan was killed in action during the Iranian attack on a US Base in Jordan. He's originally from Hawaii. He joined the military in 2019, serving as a platoon leader at Fort Bragg in North Carolina. He will receive the Bronze Star Purple Heart, a combat action badge, along with the posthumous promotion to capture. Feehan's parents said that they would be launching GoFundMe to create a scholarship for ROTC students in their son's name. Next service member is Sergeant Michael Swinton. U.S. army Sergeant Michael Swinton was killed during the detonation of an Iranian bomb at the Erbil Air Force Base in in Iraq. From Fayetteville, North Carolina, Swinton enlisted in 2017, serving in the 32nd Army Air and Missile Defense Command at Fort Bragg in North Carolina. He too will be awarded the Bronze Star Purple Heart and Combat Action Badge along with the posthumous promotion to staff sergeant. He is survived by his wife and his two children, a six year old son and a four year old daughter. Sergeant the next service member, Sergeant Angel Rampersad. Sergeant Angel Rampersad, 28 years old from Ozone Park, New York, was initially reported missing following the attack on the air base in Jordan from New York, she served at the 10th Army Air and Missile Defense Command in an Spa, Germany and was killed in action this past weekend. And the final service member killed in action, Private Isabella Gonzalez, who was just 19 years old when she died at the air base in Jordan. Originally from Texas, she enlisted last year in 2025 and was assigned to the 10th Army Air and Missile Defense Command in Ansbach, Germany, as an Air and Missile Defense crew member. She will be posthumously promoted to Private first class and while the President of the United States is not happy with the status of the war inside the White House, according to advisors that spoke with the Wall Street Journal, he has reportedly went into, quote, meltdown mode, calling Iranian leaders scumbags and lunatics in a rant peppered with expletives. Failed negotiations with Iran have made him angry, according to people familiar with the matter. One service member, one one senior administration official told the Journal that the president believes that the only thing Iran understands is military force. They said that he was in revenge mode against Tehran, adding that he has no bright ideas beyond continuing strikes. Quote, the United States signed an MOU with Iran and they broke it, shot at commercial ships and killed American soldiers. President Trump is not going to stand by and allow this terrorist behavior to occur. That's what White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt said in a statement. Now it comes as the Trump administration is rolling back a rule that protected endangered species. These are the endangered species that now Americans can legally kill, harass and trap. The Northwestern pond turtle, the Southwestern pond turtle, the current Canyon slender salamander, Brawley's fork crayfish, Greater sage grouse, Pico's pupfish, Monarch butterfly, Southern hognose snake, Green floater, Clear Lake Hitch Alligator snapping turtle, Cole darter, Bethany beach firefly, Florida Keys Mole skink, the Louisiana pigto, the Miami cave crayfish, Santa Ana speckledace, Western spadefoot, short tailed snake, California spotted owl and the Florida manatee. They rolled back a rule that essentially protected endangered species across the country that have not yet been designated as a threatened species. So a number of these species are still pending in their designation. If they have already been designated under the Endangered Species act, then they would be protected from still under the prior protections. But for any new species and these ones which are currently pending, Americans can now kill, trap and harass them without any penalty from the federal government.
