Good morning, everyone. Happy Friday. The end of another long and hectic week. We have a lot of news to cover, so let's jump right in. This morning. The president is upset over possible impeachment. Jamie Raskin, congressman from Maryland, has been pushing an idea that when and if Democrats take over in November or next January, they would pursue impeachment on a whole host of issues, including but not limited to the Epstein files. And now Trump, in response, says expel Jamie Raskin. And, well, the Epstein investigation after the bombshell New York Times report that came out earlier this week is ramping up because members of Congress now want to talk to Vice President J.D. vance about his role in protecting the President of the United States in the Epstein files release. Algae is back in the reflecting pool. Despite spending millions and millions of dollars on it, Trump is seeking to wipe away his first impeachments. Iran says that no deal is close, although we do have more details about what this memorandum of understanding may be between the two countries and much more. As always, make sure to, like, comment, share and if you can, subscribe to my substack link below to support my work. A lot of you have reached out saying that I am being kind of throttled on a number of platforms. And it is true. It's happening over the past 24 hours, not just to me, but to a whole host of other folks, independent journalists, creators, and that's why your subscriptions, this platform really means the world to me. So please, if you can do that today, I want to begin by showing you what the President of the United States posted. He says that Jamie Raskin, who is a loser in life, who worked tirelessly during my first term to impeach me, will guarantee to be trying to do it again despite one of the most successful presidencies in history. That's what the President says. He goes on to say that Jamie Raskin should be expelled from Congress. Why? Because he is pushing the impeachment of Donald Trump. Well, Trump himself wants to wipe away his prior impeachments. According to the Wall Street Journal, the President of the United States, they're actively pushing a resolution in Congress aimed at symbolically voiding his first term impeachments. You can't undo an impeachment Congress, the Constitution, nothing provides for the mechanisms of how to undo an impeachment. But that doesn't mean they won't try and they won't push this resolution symbolically after the midterms in an effort to try to rewrite history. Trump says it should be done because I did Nothing wrong. But ultimately, the January 6th defendants who were convicted of criminal offenses, the grand jurors who thought there was sufficient evidence to indict the President, Congress who thought there was sufficient evidence to impeach the President, all believe differently. And while it comes as impeachment, proceedings may begin over the Epstein files, not necessarily actions within the Epstein files, but rather the administration's work to conceal the Epstein files from the public and obstruct ongoing proceedings. Now, right now, according to Congressman Robert Garcia, he is seeking the testimony of a whole host of folks, folks within the government. J.D. vance, the Vice President, Susie Wiles, the White House Chief of Staff, Taylor Buttowit, the White House Deputy Chief of Staff, James Blair, Deputy Chief of Staff Caroline Levitt, Press Secretary Steven Chung, communications Director, the FBI Director, the former Deputy Director of the FBI, Stanley Woodward, the Associate Attorney General, Todd Blanche, the acting Attorney General, has already. Republicans have already agreed to bring him in. This Epstein investigation is ramping up. It's not slowing down. And today I'm going to be with survivors at the Epstein Reading room in Washington, D.C. around noon. So if you're in Washington, D.C. and you want to come out, please do so. And Epstein survivors say, you know what? Todd Blanche is lying, saying they are, quote, deeply disturbed to learn that so many members of the administration gathered in the Situation Room to discuss the release of the Epstein files as a reputational problem rather than an opportunity to pursue investigative leads and try to figure out what actually happened. These revelations confirm our worst fears about the administration prioritizing political expediency over justice for survivors and truth for the American people. We are especially concerned that Todd Blanche, the person nominated for the highest law enforcement position in the country, was at the table. Blanche has consistently minimized legitimate concerns about how the files have been handled, including problematic redactions in the exposure of survivors personal information. Blanche failed to deliver transparency and he has gravely failed survivors. This is failing upward, plain and simple. We deserve better. We deserve truth, transparency and accountability. We deserve to be taken seriously when we come forward. And we deserve an Attorney General who will use the full power of that office to pursue justice, protect others, and ensure that what happened to us never happens again. And this all happened is happening, by the way, as the New Mexico Attorney General has launched the first ever cross criminal investigation or the first ongoing criminal investigation in the country as we speak into the Epstein files, into what happened in Zorro Ranch in New Mexico. So we're going to have more updates on that, too. So all of this coming together, the President is worried about his future as president. Worried about having to deal with another impeachment. Members of Congress say the president should be impeached and are going to be pursuing impeachment if Democrats take over. Survivors are saying Todd Blanche isn't doing enough. The Epstein issue isn't going away for the president because we're getting more information with each passing day. And it comes as Iran this morning claims that. Here are the details of the agreement between the United States and Iran, quote, ending the war on all fronts, including in Lebanon. We'll see if Israel agrees. The US committing to non interference in Iran's internal affairs. US naval blockade lifted within 30 days. US committed to withdraw its military forces stationed around Iran reopening the Strait of Hormuz within 30 days under Iranian arrangements. Ending sanctions on Iranian oil export. The US and its allies committing to reconstruction plans for Iran worth at least $300 billion. A 60 day period to discuss the Iran nuclear issue. With the lifting of all US Sanctions and IAEA resolutions. Iran's commitment to not build nuclear weapons under the NPT Treatment Treaty. US Will not send more forces to the Middle east or add sanctions. During the talk, the release of $24 billion of Iran's frozen assets, half of it must be released before the 60 day negotiation period. And establishing a supervisory mechanism to oversee the agreement, plus an agreement approved by the United Nations Security Council. So this is the 1214 point plan that they're working on. Trump has said we're close to a deal now 39 times. We'll see if they actually go through with it. We'll see if they're actually close this time around. I don't have my hopes up at all. The war is still going on because the naval blockade remains in full effect this morning. And what else is happening this morning? Well, I want you to look at this because. Foreign now you may be asking, Aaron, what is that? That is the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting pool. And if you want to know what's inside the reflecting pool, yes, it is in fact, algae. Green algae is back in front of Lincoln Memorial. The Trump administration spent 13.6 anywhere between 13 and $14 million taxpayer dollars on fish fixing the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool in an effort to try to essentially clean it up, say that there will be no more algae. Well, truth is there is algae, there is more algae. And it doesn't seem like the reflecting pool has really changed much at all. So we're gonna have to see what happens over the next several days. Over the weekend, there will be some big Iran news. Apparently there may be a signing. I'll be at the Epstein Reading Room today. Make sure to, like, comment, share. Quotations and summary passages heavily feature Aaron’s own voice as both narrator and commentator, punctuated with direct citations and summaries of involved parties’ statements.
This episode captures a rapidly developing narrative of political accountability, institutional cover-up, and the unpredictability of power in Washington. The renewed focus on the Epstein files has shaken the White House, propelled impeachment back onto the national agenda, and exposed fissures in both internal and public handling of scandal. Aaron Parnas distills these intertwined stories with authority, speed, and an emphasis on transparency and survivor justice, making this an essential listen for anyone tracking high-stakes national political developments in real time.
