afternoon everyone and happy Sunday. Hope you and your families had a happy 4th of July. An amazing Sunday afternoon. I want to talk about all the news today. There was a lot of it thus far, a lot of possible corruption regarding FIFA, mass shootings across America, Iran news and crowd sizes. Lots to cover. But before I get there, a lot of you have reached out to me and I wanted to address something because so many of you have reached out. I get it. I get that the news cycle has been relentlessly heavy lately. I am tired of the non stop political news cycle too. Which is exactly why we make room for good news every week and why I've been investing more time in deeper and meaningful reporting. There are plenty of people who would rather me stay silent, who would rather I stop. They've tried to take down this platform. My TikTok. I mean, you name it, it's happened. But I've said it before and I'll keep saying it because it's true. You make it possible and I'm not going anywhere. So if you can subscribe to my substack link below to support my work. It really is the way we keep things going. And I know things are heavy right now. I know I get mentions all the time saying I don't want to hear about Trump anymore. Trust me, I don't want to report on Trump anymore. I get it. I would rather we get back to a new cycle that is slower, that is more compact and yet we're not there yet. Until we get there. I'll be there every step of the way. You can take A break. You can take a step back anytime. I will always be here with you. The big news today is about FIFA. FIFA. As you know, there is a World cup happening right now. The United States is the primary host country alongside Mexico and Canada. If you've been watching the World cup, you know that the United States as the host country recently played Bosnia Herzegovina, beat them in the round of 32. In the knockout round, the star player for the United States of America, Baligan. Well, he got a red card. He got a red card during that round of 32 matchup. A red card for those who don't watch soccer is essentially a egregious penalty. Now, you watch the game, it could go either way, Right? Many people think that he didn't deserve the red card. I personally didn't think he deserved the red card, but that's where we're at. Well, because he got a red card, he would have been suspended for the USA's next match, which is tomorrow in the round of 16 against Belgium. Well, until Donald Trump in the White House stepped in. New reporting has confirmed that the White House and even Donald Trump himself made a direct call to FIFA to ask Gianni Infantino, the head of FIFA, to review Folaron's Baligan's red card FIFA approach for common and referred its findings to the independent committee. FIFA insists that the White House had nothing to do with the red card being undone, reversed, suspended. Right. But we now have confirmation from the New York Times that Donald Trump personally called FIFA's president, Gianni Infantino, and asked him to reverse the red card and the red card was reversed. Trump reacted, saying, thank you to FIFA for doing what was right and reversing a great injustice. Now, today, following this reversal, international fans across the world denounced the United States saying that we may not agree with the red card in the first place, but the fact that the American president personally called Fear FIFA's president, in an effort to try to reverse a decision by a ref, shows that the United States as host country is, quote, corrupt. And well, it creates the conditions of impropriety. Right. Even if FIFA did not listen to Donald Trump and this decision was completely independent, the fact that the president called FIFA and that's what he was focused on, to try to reverse it, well, it creates problems and it creates this sense of impropriety. It comes after a fourth of July celebration on the National Mall which drew a lot of people, thousands of people from across the country came. It was a bit chaotic. There was a lot of severe weather, a lot of weather issues. That almost canceled Trump's speech. Trump is focused on crowd sizes and today he put out this truth social post as he put out, I think in total today, over 150 posts. Already he's more online than I am, by the way, saying the crowd at 7:05 in the evening was 422,000 people. All were forced to leave because of the weather. The event was canceled and everyone was gone because of lightning. When I heard that it was canceled, I immediately overturned the decision and waited a while for people to come back. Incredibly, at least 150,000 people returned and it was an even more spectacular evening than it would have been as normalized. It showed work under pressure. Congratulations to the Secret Service and law enforcement on being able to get so many people back into the arena in such rapid fashion. It was an amazing evening and even more spectacular by the fact that immediately after the great fireworks ended, the rains came down full blast. Well after the fireworks ended this morning and throughout today, Washington, D.C. has been under a purple warning asthma. My asthma has been acting up. Air quality has been bad across the board because of the fireworks celebration. But when we talk about crowds, I do want to look show you this video because the crowd sizes were actually not as big as the President had claimed.

said, don't worry, those are empty seats. Those are empty seats in the crowds. And it comes on the National Mall as Donald Trump's Interior secretary, Doug Burgum is disputing Trump's claim that vandals vandalized his reflecting pool.

Take a listen because we spoke about a month ago and the $16 million no bid contract to renovate the reflecting pool was something you called fantastic. And you certainly defended the expediting contract in order to try to get it fixed in time for July 4th. Now, of course, chunks of paint are peeling off the floor. The algae has returned. What went wrong?
Reflecting Pool Expert/Official
Well, the algae is all gone. I mean, that was a momentary thing as the, as it was being refilled, there was algae in the pipes. But the new technology, the nanobubblers that have been installed, if you go down there today and look at it, it is completely clean and clear. And so for the first time, there's actual solution that involves making sure that we've got an algae free pond. It keeps being reported that this was paint. It was not paint. This was an industrial liner that was put into the pool for the very first time. Multiple layers fixing two and a half miles of exposure.

Now, in addition, we have some news on Iran that I want to get to. Iran prepares for its largest day of funeral processions today for Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. Massive crowds are happening today. Mojtaba Khamenei has yet to appear publicly. So that's the latest right now on Iran. And then finally, mass shootings have struck across the United States of America. Just in the past 24 hours. We have had mass shootings in Chicago, Pensacola, Radcliffe, Kentucky, San Antonio Hilton headquarters, Brooklyn, New York, Centerville, Mississippi, Dayton, Ohio. Over 11 people have been killed. Over 40 have been injured just in the past 24 hours. You may not hear about all these on the news, but I will not stop talking about them because I think it is urgent to do so. As always, make sure to like, comment, share and if you can, subscribe to my substack link below to support my work. We have a lot of important updates coming this week, important interviews, hopefully some more EPC news. And I will bring it to you every, every single step of the way.
