See terms Good morning everyone. Two news stories that we're covering today. The first, the NATO Summit. The President has arrived in Turkey for a several day summit with our NATO allies and is threatening to leave. NATO threatened to not even show up and has lambasted NATO ever since. Stepping foot on the ground with President Erdogan in Turkey on the same time the President, the United States. We're getting mocked right now. Quote the Trump curse is in effect, many are saying following Belgium's victory against the United States of America. Belgian fans across the globe. Not just Belgian fans folks. Soccer fans across the globe have relentlessly mocked the President and the United States of America doing his signature YMCA dance this dance on the pitch, in the locker room and across Belgium saying that the Trump Curse is real after the President seemingly meddled in the FIFA World cup in an effort to get the U.S. men's National Team soccer players red card reversed. Lots to cover right now. As always. Like Comment share and if you can support my work, subscribe to my substack link below. I know I ask a lot, but I rely on you to do it. So please, if you can subscribe Today, let's talk about Belgium. Let's talk about the United States. As you know, last night the Belgian men's national soccer team beat the United States 4 to 1. The game was shrouded with bunch of controversy, especially after Donald Trump personally called FIFA's president in an effort to try to overturn the red card for Fuller and Baligan, the star player on the US Men's national team. Now, the game went on without a hitch. The U.S. men's National Team did not play well. And while afterwards, Belgian soccer players did something that is spreading like a wildfire. Take a look. That right there is the signature Trump dance, the YMCA dance that he was doing on stage at campaign rallies repeatedly, time and time again. They were doing it on the field after the game. They were doing it in the locker room. And Belgian fans across the globe are doing it today. Why? Well, it's not just because they beat the United States. That's part of it. But it's also because of Trump's personal involvement. The Belgian national soccer team put out this tweet following their victory, quote, overturn this, referring to the overturning of the red card. And then we learned that Belgium is openly mocking Trump as. Because they're framing this victory as, quote, payback. Payback. Why? Well, back when Donald Trump was running for president, he said something that Belgian Fans remember today. US Republican presidential candidate, this is from 2016, said that living in Brussels, the capital of Belgium, is like living in a, quote, hellhole because of the lack of assimilation of the Muslim population. Quote, you go to Brussels. I was in Brussels a long time ago, 20 years ago. So beautiful. Everything is so beautiful. It's like living in a hellhole right now. He told Fox Business Network it happened after he was asked about his plan back then to ban Muslim migrants and tourists to the United States of America. The Muslim ban, Remember that? Well, he was asked about it in 2016. He called Brussels a hellhole. And in response, Belgian fans today are saying, well, we're no longer a hellhole. We just beat Team usa. It came as Trump was landing in Turkey for the NATO summit. And as he was landing, he has now urged Congress to pass a massive spending package for the United States military, $350 billion in value. He's also urging Congress to pass the Save America act, the voting rights legislation, which has for a long time now been caught up because they don't have the votes, neither in the House nor in the Senate. Now they're going to try to pass it this week and then the next several weeks. It's unclear whether they're able to do so. They only have, I believe it's about 24 days left between now and November to do so. Remember, Congress doesn't work every day. Congress only works a couple weeks out of the month, if that. And so when you look at legislative days, they don't have many more days left and it doesn't seem like they're going to be able to pass it. But he did arrive in NATO making clear that he didn't want to be there, that the NATO alliance from the United States perspective really hangs in the balance.
Donald Trump
Further troop drawdowns in Europe likely. And are you satisfied with the progress that NATO allies have made? Well, we're going to see. I was very disappointed with NATO and frankly, if it weren't held in Turkey, where my friend happens to be a very strong leader, a very strong person, it's possible that I wouldn't have attended. I felt I had to attend because of the fact that, you know, I know he's gone all out. It was a big thing to have NATO come to Turkey or anyplace else. It's a big thing. But we weren't treated well because we did something in Iran. We don't need anybody's help. I didn't even want their help. But before I asked, they said they wouldn't be there. And we've invested trillions of dollars in NATO. Why? To protect European countries and others, Canada, etc. But to protect people countries from generally speaking, it used to be the Soviet Union, now it's Russia. And I say that's fine, but you would think that they'd be very willing to do something to help us, and they really weren't.

When we talk about NATO, the president perceives that the United States was insulted by NATO because NATO did not give the United States Greenland. That's where this is all stemming from.
Donald Trump
With respect to what? Well, that's what hurt my relationship with NATO because Greenland doesn't help Denmark. Denmark doesn't spend money to really help Greenland, but it's an important part for the United States and it's surrounded by China ships and Russian ships and that's not going to happen. The ships is. It's not going to happen. It was Greenland that in my and it continues to be that should be controlled by the United States, not by Denmark. And when they wouldn't go along with it and with all the money we spend to help them with Russia and we don't have to spend any money, we could remove all of our soldiers out of Europe because as you probably noticed, Europe is a very different place than it was 20 years ago. A lot different. Much different. It's a much different. And they better be careful with immigration and energy. If they not careful with those two things, you're not going to have a Europe anymore. Okay, thank you very much, everybody.

And one of the big topics of conversation this week will be Russia and Ukraine. Trump said he could finish this war in 24 hours. It's been 15 months since he took office. More now, actually. Here's what he had to say. Why do you think that?

Donald Trump
I just don't want him killing people, you know, it doesn't affect the United States. When Biden was here, he gave them hundreds of billions of dollars worth of equipment. Now I sell the equipment for, you know, fair price, the full price. And I sell it not to Ukraine, I sell it to the European Union. They pay us. But with me, it's not anything to do other than I'd like to save lives. You have 25, 35, 31 time, it hit 41,000amonth. Souls. They're dead. They leave their mother in Ukraine. They leave their mother and father in Russia. Ukraine, they wave goodbye, and a week later they're dead. It's crazy, and I would like to see. It doesn't affect us. It's really, you know, it's far away. It affects Europe much more. We're there to help Europe, but it doesn't affect the United States. We have an ocean in between, but, you know, it's just. I can't stand watching what's happening. I've seen the pictures of those battlefields. And it's a drone war. It's a war of drones. It's a whole new technology, and we're actually the leader in drones now. We have the most sophisticated drones, but people wouldn't believe how violent it is. And I've seen the battlefields. They send me pictures. I actually want to say, don't send them to me, Pete. This man right here sends me pictures. Pete Hegseth. And I said, pete, you know what? Doesn't help to look.
