Hello, beautiful people, and welcome to Radio Ro here in beautiful San Francisco for Super Bowl 60. This program starts now. Football is the greatest sport on earth. And this weekend in Santa Clara, a town that I don't know how far it is away because I have not made the trip personally, but it's a bit outside of here, we'll be hosting the biggest game of the year. We have no idea how many people will watch this. Maybe 127 million, maybe 130 million, maybe 115 million. And what they're going to see are the two best teams in the NFL battle it out for the Lombardi Trophy. The greatest trophy in the entire world will be presented to a team who's maybe back into dynastic form in the New England Patriots or potentially to the Seattle Seahawks under a brand new regime after Pete Carroll kind of got shoved out of the building, a whole new chapter this Seahawks team kind of developed. And in doing so, they brought in a defensive mastermind of McDonald, Sam Darnold, on a revenge tour. And what they have is dogs across the board as four and a half point favorites against the New England Patriots who have Mike Vrabel at the helm. I am incredibly excited about the game. I think every day new storylines are developing and we are incredibly lucky to be here at Radio Roast celebrating the season that was in the sport that is the greatest on earth. It's been great seeing everybody. I'll tell you what. Yesterday we had a little bit of a brunch. Shout out to that particular restaurant that has a name. Definitely Impossible Smoke, International smoke, but it's impossible. Incredible place. Shout out to Vanessa, shout out to big guy, Big Steve, Adrian. Yeah, incredible hair. They took care of us. The city has been beautiful. Walking around, the weather's been great. Obviously, we came out of negative whatever over there in Indiana. So we've enjoyed the hell out of seeing everybody. We've enjoyed the Super Bowl. The vibes are immaculate. And today will be no different. Surprise guest yesterday, planned guest yesterday. Same thing will happen today, and we cannot wait to kind of enjoy it all alongside of you. Thank you for watching us. We are the dumbest people on earth living the dumbest lives of all time. But we're trying to enjoy it all. Let's go to the talks to the table at Boston, Connor and at Ty Schmidt. Ty, pretty big news coming out of super bowl week out of the Jay Glazer. He kind of reported this earlier in the year. It was kind of some rumblings and obviously over the past couple years, it's certainly Been a topic of conversation. Because we want to see Max Crosby in one of these. Exactly. We want to see Max Crosby in one of these. We want to see him in the super bowl. We want 127 million to people know people to know that like this thing exists. But he's always been Raider through and through, through and through. Now Jay Glazer saying maybe a little different time. Yeah, I mean, that's the thing is, you know, we've been talking about it for a while and obviously you want, you want it to happen because you want to see a great player like Max Crosby, you know, be a factor super bowl week. But it's not really a real thing until Glaze hits you with the, listen, his time at the Raiders, it's going to be done. I mean, it's just as simple as that. You know, he, he can't do it anymore. He doesn't want to do it anymore. So he, you know, goodbye, I guess. And then maybe the Bears, maybe, maybe the Cowboys, maybe the Pittsburgh Steelers, maybe they do a flop with T.J. watt. A lot of things are happening and percolating right now. We'll see. Okay, so Max Crosby, because of how it sounded right there out of the voice and the mouth that it did come out of, that feels very real. Then you start looking at the contract. Not a lot of dead money over the Raiders and very easy attainable contract going forward for Max Crosby, one of the game's greats. So who knows where he finds a home. And I don't know if you saw it, Jason Glazier, but there was a man from Boston with the Patriots who sit next to you going, and, yeah, yeah, and, and there's a chance the New England Patriots only get better and better. And Connor, I asked you on this particular Super Bowl Thursday, how'd you wake up feeling this morning as a Patriots fan back in the big dance? Yeah, I woke up feeling great. The breaking news, really with the game this upcoming weekend, the super bowl is Nick Iman Warri, safety, stud, rookie for Seattle Seahawks. There was a video of him getting out of the car. He popped up with an ankle. And then this video hit the Internet. And if you're a Seattle Seahawks fan, you watch this and you think, oh my God, our rookie safety is walking like 45 year old. AJ Hawk. Can't really walk straight. Clearly a limp. Something is going on that stinks. I think he's up for an award tonight with the defensive rookie, Rookie of the year. So losing him would be massive. But as a Patriots fan, you Just kind of sit back and say, hey, this is what happens, man. When the Patriots are in the super bowl, stuff like this happens to the other team. It does feel like that. Let's go to Seattle versus New England. Last time, Cam Chancellor, two days before the game, he I think gets a knee bone bruise. Might have had a partially torn MCL from practice. I mean, this is just the stuff I believe Cam Chancellor then ended up going, you know, his game time decision played had 10 tackles, freak of nature, ridiculous athletes, which very much so is Nick. I mean Warrior as well. But this is the stuff that happens and this is why as a Patriot chain, you just get to Sunday. Yeah, well, getting to Sunday, Super Bowl Sunday, something you've done. We actually have a Super bowl champion join us right now. Also college football national champion. He's the all time leading tackler for the Green Bay packers and a Rider cup winner plays Gemma AJ Hawkins. It does feel like getting to the super bowl is the big topic of conversation for everybody. We talked to Tony Dungey, we talked to other people that have been a part of it. It's like all the days ahead of time are seemingly the distraction. We just got to get to Sunday and just play football. Obviously no different now than when you were playing. Is that kind of the mindset all the time? Yeah, I think so. I know at least myself personally. We were practicing, I believe Thursday we were in pads when we played in the super bowl against the Pittsburgh Steelers back in the day. And I remember there was a specific play. We were. We were still pounding. Mike McCarthy's the head coach. So we were hitting. And I remember something happened where I almost like snapped my arm in half in practice. And I remember I almost lost my mind thinking if I did, like my whole life I've been trying to get to the super bowl. If I this got ruined on like the Thursday before the game. I don't know how I would have mentally handled. But I think with Eman Warrior, I think it's good he's not wearing a boot right there. I think that's a good sign. Meaning. Yeah, because they would have overdone it. Yes. So I think that we'll see what happens. Obviously he'll be dealing with some pain for sure, but I'm hoping that he's all right. Maybe he took long dump after practice. Fellas. That's what happened in me. As I've been getting older. I get up from a good dump, especially if it's a low toilet. I walk it on stilts right now. What's going on and obviously we hope that that was the case for him and that thing came back after shaking a little bit. But that certainly three days out at the DB position can certainly become a troublesome situation for the Seahawks, especially because it does feel like this always happens for the Patriots. Now tonight obviously massive awards show NFL honors is happening. Nine year NFL vet, coolest he's looked all year. Oh yeah, no doubt. And hey, no questions asked. Darius J. Butler is here. Debut big awards season happening tonight for the NFL. Excited about it or no? Absolutely. You mentioned it. I think comment mentioned it earlier. With Emma Ward being up for defensive rookie of the year, we got a lot of people in this game this weekend that are up for major awards. Obviously start with the quarterback Drake May up for an mvp. Two great coach of the year candidates. I think Vrabel's kind of at the top of that bet market. Then JSN Offensive player of the year. So we got a lot of guys, I think Steph Diggs maybe comeback player of the year. So we got a lot of guys even this weekend in the big game that are up for these major awards. But it's always interesting. These always will dominate the storyline, especially when a close MVP race like this with whoever wins it. Yeah. And there was one name that was on that graphic that we're going to be talking to here in just a matter of moments. But before we get to that, we got to go to 1/2 of the hammer done Cowboys AP tone tone each day you're kind of given a play of the day that you like for super bowl Sunday through DK DraftKings what is today's play of the day in the your eyes? Yeah. So yesterday I took both quarterbacks over. Today we're going to go with an under. It's a first quarter under seven and a half. And I asked Hembos for some stats to kind of back this up because I kind of like I love the the teams come out. It's kind of a feeling out process. Hembo came back the first quarter the the average amount of points first quarter last 20 years of Super bowl is 6.8 points. Second quarter is 14.5. Third quarter 11.6. Fourth quarter 15.5. So it's more than half the less amount of points in the first quarter than every other quarter. They're going to come out. These defenses are great. First quarter under seven and a half. Okay now granted Tony unders opening kickoff goes to the crib by Shahid. We got half a point still. Yeah. A defensive touchdown or special Teams touchdown would ruin this. I would. I'll predict that. And now he's guaranteed to play it today. Yeah, that's what he is saying, that he is going with Tony. We appreciate that. Thank you. We also appreciate the fact that we felt so welcome out here in San Francisco. Didn't know how it was going to go. Remember, we were having genuine conversations. Oh, yeah. Like, hey, I honestly have no idea how it's going to go out there, let alone this room. Right? Yeah. Hey, not necessarily big city, you know, there's been, you know, that whole thing. I had no idea how it was going to go. Feels like it's been awesome, man. Delightful. It really has been. Yeah. A lot of locals walking up to us from different age groups and I think backgrounds and everything saying, like, welcome to California, Pat, and boys and everything like that. It's like, thank you. A lot of Niners gear around. Feels like this is, you know, one of the old school traditional football homes and they just so happen to have a guy who plays football that would have been great in any era. He's up for multiple awards tonight. I believe he is formerly an offensive player of the year. San Francisco 49er legend. Ladies and gentlemen, running back Christian McCaffrey. Christian. Yeah. What's up, man? Yeah. Hell yeah. Oh, yeah. How you doing, man? Hey, yeah, Absolutely, man. Come on. That's a nice one. That's cool. Wow. Congrats, sir. Look at that thing. What we got here? Hell yeah. Oh, FedEx, Aaron ground. Hey, listen, I'm a big fan of Dick Smith, runs this company. I like what you're doing here. Hey, this is a real deal trophy here. Titus just came out there. Christian McCaffrey, San Francisco 2025. FedEx, Aaron Ground, player of the year. Congratulations. Appreciate it. Thank you, man. Yeah. It's an honor. FedEx, you know, receiving this award is a big honor. I don't take it lightly. There's a lot of people up for it and it's pretty cool. It's fan voted, been around 23 years and they're giving $15,000 to a local Feeding America food bank here in San Francisco. So getting an award, giving back a little bit. It's a great company to partner with. Yeah. FedEx is obviously there for you. Do you know the story of FedEx? You killing me. No, let me tell you, Let us tell you. Let us tell you. Let us tell you. So Arthur Smith, you know, offense coordinator. I know he's his dad. That's what this pins for. Yeah. His dad, Marine, everything like that. He. He they're about to lose the company took money out, I think from like a loan or something like that, goes to Las Vegas, wins, doubles down, able to send things like. That's how the company. Yeah, dude's a real dog. Yeah. So, like you get a FedEx award, like, I think we would actually be pumped up because it's like an inc. Incredible American. Well, we got to give you one of these pins things. That's who this pins for. Well, I haven't earned it. Okay, you did a lot. Okay, you did a lot. Let's talk about that as soon as you get to the Niners. And I think we've talked to you about it before potentially in the past. But has there ever been a more perfect fit for you in a place like Shanahan's offense? Because whenever you come from the Panthers, because you went to Carolina, took over Carolina. Okay. Cam Newton, obviously mvp. It was his team. Became your team, though, because of obviously how dynamic you are in all facets. You come to the Niners first game, you're throwing, I think you're catching, you're running, and it felt like a perfect fit. Does it still feel like that? And how happy are you that you, the style of player you are, are in this particular offense? Yeah, I think, you know, you hit it on the spot. I'll. I always have so much gratitude when I walk in the building just because of the staff that we have, because of the players I get to play with. And yeah, man, it feels like a perfect fit, you know, just. Just for, you know, being a football player, being somebody that loves the game, loves to learn. It feels. It feels so fun, you know, I mean, it's. You know, he can line you up anywhere and you're playing with guys like, you know, like Juwan Jennings, like George Kittle, like Kyle Juszczyk. You got a great quarterback, Trent Williams, you know, legends of the game that you get to go out there and practice and in games with and have fun. And so, yeah, I feel very fortunate to be there. You're so explosive still. You getting old or what's happening? How is this working? Because remember, we pretty big talkers about how like you don't have the kind of Alex Honnoldy. Okay, okay. Kind of. Kind of Alex, honey, where. Thank you. You are. Yeah, no problem. Now, granted, I don't think you're dangling from the building, but I will say you explode through contact. It feels like for somebody who is as fast and you know, catches, runs, everything like that, you were looking for content and Exploding all the time you're training, are you always like, year round are like, how have you been able to maintain the explosive? I think as you continue to get older. No offense. No offense. None taken. No, I think, you know, I mean, I always say building the foundation to kind of withstand the storm starts really when the, when the super bowl ends, you know, and you start to start to train again and you start to get in that shape. And so, you know, as an individual player, there's, There's a lot of people that have something to do with somebody's success. And so I have a great team of trainers, great week, great team of bodywork guys. And, you know, I have teammates that are constantly inspiring me. You know, again, I, you know, you talk about all those guys I just mentioned, you know, they're. They're selflessly playing football. They're. They're selling out for you. You know, they're blocking for you. They're, you know, running clear routes so that you can get open. And so when it's your time to do that or when you do have the ball in your hands, you know, you owe it to them to. To sell out. You're a weapon, dude. Can you. Obviously your dad probably. I think we've. Grandpappy. Yeah. Isn't it like your entire family tree is basically like you? I don't want to say you were kind of created to be this. You were, but you kind of were right in the kind of conversation in this entire thing. Say it again. Your genes are the most effort. Really thankful for. For the genetics. Yeah, that's. It's a huge blessing. It helps, you know. Look, have you and Cooper DeJean looked at each other and just tried to figure it out? We just, we just eye each other. Ass. Spider man game. AJ has a question for you. Speaking of that you mentioned use check, obviously how awesome this guy is. We see him moving around pre snap, all the stuff he can do, I guess. What does he do for you and how do you. How do you enjoy having be on the field with him? We see the videos, you guys in, like the cold tubs and hot tubs, having a good time, obviously relationship is great, but on the field, what does he do for you? Yeah, I think again, you know, you know, people talk about my versatility a lot, and I definitely think it's one of my biggest strengths, but I think it's a big strength because of the versatility of the other players. And that's juice to a tee. He can block anybody on the field. He can block any scheme Blocking somebody is one thing, but doing it within the scheme and doing it the way the play is coached is a whole nother thing. So his knowledge of football and understanding where to be and when to be there, hat placement, driving your feet, he makes it really easy on a runner. And that's something. That's not a little thing at all. I mean, it's huge. It's what makes the play go. But then you see him catching, you know, double moves, you see him running clear routes, you see him catching the flat and getting 20 yards, running wheels, whatever it is. You know, he's a complete football player, which is why, you know, he's been to 700 Pro Bowls. You know, he's. He's really is the definition of a ball player. And somebody that does it the right way, who's extremely selfless, who will stick his face in there for anybody on his team. And, you know, just again, I don't ever take for granted being able to play with guys like that. Isn't that something too? Like with the Harvard brain, we used to say it's about Fitz magic. Like Fitzmagic has a Harvard brain and he was willing just to throw it directly into absolutely anything. It's like, those are precious things. Harvard brains are like precious commodities. And Fitzmagic's like, yeah, sweet. Watch me run this thing into something. And then you shake a fullback in the NFL. You know, it's a fascinating dynamic with like the tough positions, but how smart you have to be to be like, excellent. He's first bout hall of Famer. Would have to be if they start stacking his. I mean, there's no fullbacks in right now. They're not letting the fullback in on the first bout. He should have been first ballot, but he was a kicker. Is this what you're saying? You should do everything, though? He's a fullback, tight end age. He's a little use check everything well. And he's probably saying that in those negotiations too. Yeah. And lynch is like, no, you're a fullback, Bug. No, no, I'm a tight end. I catch the ball. Yeah, yeah. Okay, cool. You're a fullback back here. That's certainly what it is. D but has a question for you, Christian. Nightmare game plan for with all you guys, but versatility wise, I grew up, you know, watching like Marshall Faulk and that's who you remind me of. And now the young guys, you know, you're OG now in the league. I'm sure a lot of young guys reach out. How has that been? I guess Having conversations with those young, like a Bijan or Jameer Gibbs or these guys who are dynamic, not only getting the ball in the backfield, but also out in space. No, it's huge, man. I think I look at a guy like Marshall Falk, guy like Roger Craig, you know, they're kind of pioneers of the way that, you know, how I play the position and being able to move all over the place and kind of taking pride in, you know, when you're lining up in the slot, not just being a running back, running routes, but becoming a receiver, being able to move the same way, run any route on the route tree. And so it's really cool. And especially I got to train with Bijan this summer, and just watching him and being able to pass along knowledge and take a bunch of stuff from him, too, is really cool. You know, I think running backs, you know, you got the tight end, you. And you got a bunch of, you know, the O lines are starting to do stuff. Quarterbacks, how these guys, we've never really had anything, but I feel like that's starting to change, you know, and. And guys are starting to get together and train together and do all these things, because the way the position is trending, I mean, you see guys, you know, all over the league now that are special players who can do anything. So it's definitely cool to. To see how the game is continuing to evolve. And then there's so many special players who are doing it. We were just at the Pro bowl, and Bijan and Jameer both were just, you know, for me, as a. As a, you know, As I get later, and there you go. It really is special to see, man, and just fortunate to be around guys like that. Yeah. But everybody. Everybody's trying to do what you get. Like, hey, who are we hiring? We want a Shanahan offense with, like, that's what the NFL is kind of trying to become everywhere, what you guys are kind of laying down. So I assume all these young guys look up to your old ass as well. You know, I. I think that is probably something. All right, last question. We know you have not. You just asked. Not old. Do you think you do have one of the largest asses in the NFL? Have you seen Cal Raleigh? This guy, big dumper. He's got a. He's got a can on him. Unbelievable. Yeah, it's usually the explosiveness that you kind of find. I have to check that out. I'll have to check that out. Something to think about. Yeah, definitely something to look at. Yeah. If you just get Time. Just as we're surveying the field. Yeah, I'll check. I'll check it out for sure. I appreciate that. Yeah, no problem. Next year we get a chance to chat with you. We'll try to get an answer for that one. Maybe a little homework assignment. Go ahead, Tone. Last question. Yeah, we're a football sports show first, but secondary health and wellness show. And I. I think I saw something where. At night. So we're trying to learn here. You're turning off your WI fi at night? No, you know, no, we're not living. Next. What do you mean? Here we go. I'm trying to. I'm trying to be like, you look fantastic. I said that yesterday. You look great. And what did I tell you? You said you got a lot of medicine running through you. Yes, I do. So now. So I need to have no WI fi. Whatever you're doing, keep doing it. No, I. I don't know where I got that. I don't. I probably did that once or twice. I'm like. Because I read it on Instagram, which. Is that where you need to get your. Yeah, Instagram. Reels is the new medical science, you know, so for me, yeah, I agree. Saw it on a reel, figured this is genius, and tried it, and it worked. I don't know. Who knows? I don't know if it worked or not. Listen, you know, for real, I'll do anything to get, you know, a 0.1% better any day. And if someone's going to tell me, hey, turn your WI fi, I'm like, hey, that can't hurt. Maybe it'll work. So let's try it. Turn the WI fi off, huh? I've dabbled. I've dabbled in turning the WI fi off. I mean, unfortunately, yeah, you gotta turn the substation off. Or what? I don't like that this is has to come up in every conversation. It's real. It does have to. It's on the Internet. Crazy. I mean, Achille tendonitis. I know, but it came out of nowhere. And then you think about the substation. It's like, well, hold on. You're sleeping without WI fi on? Don't act like we're crazy. You guys are nuts. No, I. Look, honestly, though, in football, there's. There's too many variables to say that, like, one thing causes injuries. I don't. I don't believe that that's true. A guy like Fred Warner, who, you know, has been. He trains there every day in the offseason. He's been healthy the whole Time he got rolled up on bad and broke his leg. It's not his, you know, it's football. Well, we don't know, so. So now that's why it's, you know, to say one thing. To say it's, oh, you did this wrong or this. There's so much that has to go right. And I know that you can do everything right in an off season and train at the perfect spot and train perfectly, and then you play football and you show up, and in the first quarter of the first game, some bad stuff happens. That's ball, man. It has been for the test of time. We got injury plague this year, which was tough. You hate to see, you know, your boys go down like that, but, you know, sometimes that's just the way it goes. But you wouldn't be opposed to shutting the substance. Yeah. What if they said, you know what, this is actually a WI FI station now. Yeah. Let's move it. What would you say? I mean, like, Hawaii. Like, if you trained in, like, you know, the Caribbean next to a beach, you have the full thing. That'd be fantastic. But that's not, you know, any team would want that, you know, but, you know, look, again, I'm not a scientist. And I'm not. And I'm not. I'm not a doctor. I think you kind of are. I dropped out of state. Stanford. That doesn't count. Yeah, but I think a lot of people drop into classes at Stanford. Me, Zuckerberg, the Snapchat founder. We all dropped out. Guys like us, we all dropped out. MySpace guy. Yeah. I think Albert Einstein College dropped off. Yeah. Yeah. All of us. Same. Me, too. I didn't make it. Yeah. Yeah. No way. When can I get out of here? Yeah, I'm going to. Yeah. Yeah. You did the same. Did the same. Yeah. Yeah, I figured life. Yeah. Family reunions and stuff. You looked around and you're like, oh, yeah, I'm not supposed to do school. I'm this sports. Exactly. That's what I'm supposed to do. Exactly. Well, I want to know if you. Can you shoot? Yeah, I can shoot a little bit. Okay. Did you play in high school? Played in high school. How were you? Pretty good. Were you. Were we flying around? Yeah, I was. I was good. Are we Cooper Dean? Yeah, I was. Duncan. Yeah. Because we're talking about Cooper Jean earlier, You two kind of Spider man meeting each other. Is that the kind of. Is that what we're talking about? Yep. Man, I think we do need you guys at some point to maybe get in a Room Ping pong. I think dangerous tandem. It'd be a dangerous tandem. Oh, my God. It would be. Especially with the conversation that was happening, you know, about a year ago. I think we'd have good reps. I think. I think we would have good reps. You'd have a lot of smart, you know, tough, quicker than fast. Bingo coaches on the field. Yeah. Lunch pail, locker room guys. But also now we got a couple guys that can lock down in the back end. I expect that. Got guys doing a lot of this in high school. Good luck. Well, this is a showcase. It's not a competition. There's always matchups. Yeah. All right. We're gonna find out right now. Okay. This is called the charity super shot. Yesterday. Over $70,000 was donated and made shots from this area. Now, granted, there's been people that taken advantage of the lack of rules that we have. You can certainly do that, and I think you will do that because of how competitive you are as a human being, especially if you're turning off WI fi at night because you read something. $85,000 raised yesterday. Okay. You have three attempts at this hoop right here, Christian. Okay. If you make it on the first try, which will be tough. State fair ball seated. Let me see this ball. Yeah, yeah. You can get a feel for. You can get a feel for it. That's not an easy ball. Jamar Chase, only person to make it on the first shot. If you make it on the first shot. Seated. Yeah, he was actually. I think he did. Oh, I think. I think he was seated. T. Higgins was standing. I think Jamar was start se. Might be better replay. Who? Rice. Rice. Yeah, Rice stood. You get a little more arc seated, though. No. Yeah. Cuz you got lights to deal with your. Yeah, I got bang. Yeah, it was not his first try. Yeah, yeah, it was not his first try. So you can beat him here if you want, you know, for good to go white. Hold on, hold on. Watch. What are you doing? All right, all right. Here we go. Christian, first shot. $20,000 to a charity of your choosing. Charity super shot here in San Francisco. Oh, that looked good. That was money. Same exact. Well, now, hold on one second. That was your first shot? Yeah. Let's go to your teammate Fred Warner's first shot yesterday. That was a good one. This was. Yeah, that's. That's. That doesn't show. That was worst of day. That was worst of day. Maybe worst of all time. Fred, we love you, but only one. Why does that not shock you? Yeah. What's that? All about linebackers aren't who? Hoopers. Never been Hoopers. AJ Takes a lot of pride, unfortunately. They take five fouls in the first quarter. We've only had one bank. Is it Jamar? Nice. Well, it's coming. Coming from Jamar chase right now. 10,000. That thing took a turn in the air. FedEx will. FedEx will deliver. Hit that third one. Yes, they will. Shout out to FedEx. Shout out to you, brother. Appreciate it, guys. Thanks for having me on. It's a good workout for you. Good deal. You're the man. Thank you. Thank you. Appreciate you guys. Thank you. Oh, yeah. You got speeches prepared? Yeah, speeches prepared. What about multiple? Might win. Hey, let's go. Let's have multiple. We need multiple. Thank you, ladies. Jeff. Christian. Christian, appreciate it. Don't worry. All right, brother. Guy wasn't even close on that show. I don't know if anyone's gonna make one. The first one was nice. What do you mean? Balls are different today than they were. Is that why I beat debud? They are now over inflated and they're kind of greased up, too. Yeah, I think it's going to be. I think today might be kind of a tough shooter day as well. Christian McCaffrey doesn't love that. Cooper G made that. No, he doesn't. Matt Ryan's a sneaky athlete. No lie. He's gonna make one. Joining us right now, ladies and gentlemen, a man who has won awards in the NFL in the past, Falcons. Ladies and gentlemen, Matt Ryan. We appreciate you, Matt. Thank you for coming. Dude, nice to you. So tall, so fit. Boys, boys. Good to see you. Good to see you. Boys, boys, boys. You. Dude, We're joking. That's President of Football. That's right. That's president. That's the title right there. President of Football. President of Football, Matt Ryan, right there. Matt, double mic. How you doing, brother? I'm doing good. Hold on, let me get the wire off. McAffrey screwed it up we go. Yeah, it's a real better. Hey, congratulations, dude. Thank you. Football, big time. Honestly, like, you were great on TV, too, so I thought you were great on TV. You probably could have done that for the next 20 years if you wanted to. I appreciate the fact you want to get back in the bowl. Is that the feeling or what? Why did you kind of do it? Yeah, no, I was having a blast doing TV and, you know, called games the first year, which was a ton of fun, and then doing the NFL today and had a blast doing that. But for me, it was like a one of one opportunity. So I live. Stayed in Atlanta, live in Atlanta, and, you know, was. Was a part of that organization for a long time. And, you know, this opportunity came up and it was like, I think I gotta go for it, you know, and go do it and to get back in it, be back in the building every day, be a part of it. Like, there is something too, and you guys all know it. Like, you guys got this great thing going on and you're all together. Thank you, Mr. President. Yes, you're welcome. Where you're part of the team and, like, there's good vibes and all of that, but there's something like being in the building where there's results and it's black and white and you're going for it. That. That is special. So I'm excited to be back a part of it and trying to do the best I can. They cleaned it out right then. Then there's a major realignment shift, everything. Right. Whenever you kind of get back in there. So obviously, you've known the building for a long time. You still live in there. Obviously, you've been around. You got rid of a lot of people. It wasn't just like a massive shift right down there for the Falcons. And whenever you get the gig, what are you kind of expecting to do? Because obviously you make the hire. A couple massive hires. Congratulations. Not easy to make those decisions, I don't think. But we will certainly talk about them here in a second. But is that what you're kind of tasked with doing? Like, hey, congratulations, welcome. Everything's brand new. Do what you think is the right decision. Like, how does that. How does that kind of go. Doesn't that feel kind of daunting for never doing it but before. Or how. How's that kind of come together? Yeah, so I got hired on Friday night. I show up to the facility on Saturday morning and did my HR training, hiring training. And then I was on a head coaching interview, like, 15 minutes after. After I was done the training. And obviously I've never done that. So you're on this and you're like, okay, you know, this is interesting to see how it's going to. But you dive into what you know. You know what I mean? And when you've been around it for a long time, you start, you know, getting into the conversation and you're talking about football and what your plans are with, you know, what you think about offensive football, what you think about defensive football, different coaches that, you know, they look at. So you get into what, you know, pretty Quickly. But it was, you know, it is a little daunting. You dive into it and you're interviewing, you know, different people right off the bat, you know, but at the end of the day, you sit there and you go back to what, you know, try and keep it simple and not overcomplicate it. Right. Is this person who I think he is, does the reference work that we've done on them add up to what I'm seeing in these interviews? And do I think this is the right person for us? Moving football, moving forward. So, you know, it's. And moving football. Yeah, moving the ball, moving forward, which is what we hired on the offensive side. So let's talk about that. Stefanski. I was very, I'll say, surprised that Stefanski got a job as quickly as he did after the Cleveland. Just like I thought Harbaugh. Yeah, I thought he was going to get Tomlin. I think if he wanted to, it was going to get McDermott. McDermott, if he wanted to. I thought he'd be able to get, like. There was a lot of major coaching shift. I think that just kind of happened. Stefanski getting hired that quick was, for me, I did not expect it. So then we have Joe Flacco on yesterday, and Joe Flacco, who's obviously been around the NFL very long time, had a lot of success. He starts rattling off all these compliments about Stefanski. Yeah. What did you kind of experience with him and how did you compartmentalize, like, Cleveland. It's hard. Yeah. Legit. It's hard. Right. Because you think about, like, track record of success. How do you. How do you weight track record of success and what they've done? And I think you look at, you know, the first couple of years of what they did in Cleveland, and you say, okay, I like. I like a lot of what they did, you know, But I also think. Also think, like, scars are not, like, necessarily the worst thing. You learn a lot from. From some of those things that you go through in life, and then you boun. And you're better off when you get the next opportunity because of the mistakes that you made. And we felt like, you know, for the things we were looking for from our head coach, you know, the ability to communicate, the ability to be direct and hold people accountable, the ability to put, you know, together a good staff. I think that's one of the hardest things for coaches when they come in. You know, you hire this head coach and you expect them to just be able to, you know, put 25 of the good coaches around. Them, and it's difficult to do. I think, you know, some of what we had in Atlanta with Jeff Ulbricht on the defensive side and some of the defensive pieces that we had, and Kevin thinking that, you know, that was a good structure that could support him in. In kind of a different way, and then some of the things he wanted to do offensively. And then, really, I talked to Joe. I talked to Joe about, you know, Kevin, you know, leading up to the process. Oh, Flacco. Yeah. Yeah. But Joe Flacco. As you should, by the way, talk to Flack. Vice president. Why would you not talk? That's right. Joe's got a wealth of knowledge. He's been around and, you know, but that was part of the process of going and talking to a lot of, you know, people that, you know, touched, you know, pass with him in Minnesota, some in Cleveland, different coaches that had coached for him, different players who have played for him. We felt like, at the end of the day, he was the right person for us and what he brings and how he wants to build it and what he believes in. And so we're excited about it. All right, last question for me. We thank you for your time. Obviously, Mr. President, and the bullies will certainly have their questions afterwards. Ian Cunningham becomes your general manager. You were roommates with Ryan Polls. Ryan polls Knew this guy? Yeah. Told you. Hey, this is good guy. Good guy. You interview Guy. Guy's GM of the Falcons. Is that. Is that how this comes in? That's how everybody's piecing it together. How do you land on Ian and what are you expecting? Yeah, I mean, obviously a really strong recommendation from, you know, my college roommate, Ryan Poles. But, like, just because he worked for my college roommate doesn't mean you can hire the guy to be the general manager. So you could. I guess you could, but no, we went through, you know, a bunch of different, you know, candidates at the GM spot, and I just feel like Ian's the right one because of his experience. You know, time spent in Baltimore started, worked his way up in Baltimore, leaves, goes to Philly, time spent around Howie, and they do it a different way in Philadelphia and then really being a part of a rebuild in Chicago and, you know, kind of what they did at the beginning of changing so many pieces out, being aggressive, but building it up the right way, and they get the right head coach, and next thing you know, they're. They're. They're in the playoffs and they're playing good football. So I think the. The different experiences that he had and the stops along the way makes him ready for it. And we're ready. Hey, Jacksonville Jaguars just went on a run. Chicago Bears just went on a run. The New England Patriots are back in the super bow. Anything can happen in one year and your fans expect it. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, man. Good luck. A.J. has a question for you. Yeah, my little two parter. So have you figured out what your schedule's gonna be like, going through like the combine, the draft and all of that? I'd imagine, like what a different world for you all of a sudden now, jumping in full time in the front office. And also like when you're talking about hiring a head coach. What makes a good head coach? Is there one or two things that every great head coach has? Well, I think about the good head coaches I was around. Right. And its ability to communicate and lay out the vision clearly. Like when, you know, when you sit in that, in, in that meeting room and they lay out, hey man, here's what we're going to do, here's what I believe in, here's what we're going to do and here's how we're going to do it. But there's different styles. Like you guys, you know, you've been around different coaches. Like there's different ways to get that stuff across, but it needs to, it needs to be clearly communicated. And then, you know, number two, it's, it's like situational football has become so important. It always was, but it has become. Yeah. A lot more information now too. A lot more information. How do we apply that information? What your problem process is through using that information? What do you believe in from that standpoint? Those. I think you got to get those right. That's where we. Kicking field goals or not. Yeah, I like points. Points are good. Yeah. I don't know much, but I do think points are good. So actually tones better than today. I know you don't, you know, bet at all, but better. Today was under seven and a half points first quarter. What is it about the beginning of like the super bowl, getting ready for this week from a quarterback play caller standpoint? Is it nerves? What is, what's different when you hit that stage, that kickoff happens, then you're out there. The first drive. It does. I, at least for me, it does feel different. You know that, that like first drive where you're out there trying to settle in and, and, and just get going. I feel like, like taking a hit or, or just like getting something out of, out of your system like a hit or, or being able to Move and run or. Or something and get a completion, you know, was. Was at least helpful for me to. To sort of calm down, but I. I don't know, man. I think it's all that build up you. You know, like when you're out there and the warmups feel different. You've got this longer break before you go. It's just. You're out of your. Your kind of normal rhythm, and it just takes a little bit of time. When are you usually comfortable with the. With the plan? I guess, is it Friday? Is it kind of. You feel like the haze in the barn? Are you working up all the way up until that Saturday walk through or like, at what point for you? I guess going into most games or the big games where you like, very comfortable with the plan. Usually. I don't know. I don't know how it was for you guys. Sometimes Saturday morning walkthroughs could create more anxiety than they. Then they solved problems. You'd go out there and you'd have somebody screw something up, and the next thing you know, coaches, you yell, and then you're like, oh, throw it out. Throw it out. Our plan is not good. Like, I felt good about it Friday when I left, you know, the red zone practice, we hit everything that was in front of us. Then we did the Saturday walkthrough, and it was no good. So I think it depended on the week. But like a good, crisp Saturday morning walkthrough where there's like, no, you know, nobody's yelling. It's. It's just you're executing. You're just. People are on top of it. I feel like that's usually a good sign. I had an opportunity to watch, you know, the Peyton led Saturdays and Fridays even, you know, for the first couple years of my football life in the NFL. And then there's a little bit of a turnover. Now we got a little bit of a younger team. And I had no idea that what was happening in those Peyton ones, it's just probably not like a normal. Yeah, that's probably not like how it normally is. Ball never touching ground. We're skipping through. There's no redo. There's no nothing. And then you get into one where it is like, ball on ground. Are we throwing? Are we not throwing? Throw that out. Guys run into each other and then. It's crazy what your perspective is as quarterback of that whole thing. Yeah. And then mine on the sideline because I just had a good waffle in there, you know, Saturday I'm good. Throw it out. You know, like, that's how. That's my contribution to the attack. I remember a couple of times, you know, and like Saturday morning you're usually going through the openers. So it's like the coach has like prepped you up in that meeting beforehand of what, what we're running in the openers. Yep. We've all seen the script. And then you get people and we can't get lined up and you're like, what the. Like, what have we been doing? You start losing it, people start yelling at each other. So we're trying to avoid that is what I'm saying. Football people that don't know Saturday walk through is like a mock game. So you all your substitution. Hey, nickel group, 12, 11, kickoff, punt. So you're just making sure everybody subs, everybody's on point, and then it should be perfect. It should be perfect. If it's not perfect, we got some issues. What, You're a special teams guy. Like, what is worse when we just can't get substitutions. Right. On special teams and you're on kickoff, you're like, yeah, it's a nightmare. What are we doing? Yeah, it doesn't look professional. And that won't be in your outfit. We understand that. Ty has a question for you. Yeah, a lot of talk this offseason around you guys has been, hey, is Michael Penix going to be healthy next year? You know, he obviously got hurt late and then Kirk's going to be gone. How comfortable do you feel with the quarterback room right now? And do you think naturally you'll kind of drift and be around those guys a lot or is that something you're trying not to. Hey, I don't want to just spend all my time with the quarterback. And what is your, your role day to day? Yeah. Well, no, I don't think it's. It's not like, hey, man, I'm going down there and I'm just going to sit in quarterback room and chop it up with these guys all day, every day. Certainly there if they need some help or something like that to, you know, like, provide any advice that I can on routine or just, you know, whatever we're doing. But right now, you know, I see Mike, he's in our, he's in our facility right now doing his rehab. He's doing a great job. We're excited about where he's at and just needs to, you know, stay after that. I think my day to day, you know, like next Monday I'm going into draft meetings and it'll be the first time I've ever sat in draft meetings. And so you're at the head. No, I'm on the side, man. Ian is our gm. So when we're running president, how that works, corporate structure. You're in it now. Yeah, president. President is there and then there's a manager, you know, kind of. That kind of manages what's president? Maybe even like a lifted state. For sure. Not a bad idea. Maybe it wheels in and out like the booger mobile for Monday Night Football. Maybe that's him. Rolls around like meeting room to meeting room and you're like kind of on an elevated stage. Yeah. I think nice stage now. They think about that. You roll it in, the president's here. Maybe there's a. I gotta talk to our operations guys at that. I don't know if we can get that done at the facility by Monday. By Monday for the meeting. Monday we could do it. Don't let them know that it's coming. You know, you just throw it. 1ch. One chance of the first impression. What's that? Only one chance. One chance at the first impression. First draft. Boom. You think you'll be meandering is how you think day to day goes for you? I think so. At different times of the year. Right. Of. Of where we're at. I think for the first. Listen, for the first. The first three months, I mean, we're talking about we've got combine, we've got free agency, we've got draft and then we start, you know, with the new off season program, new coach. So I mean there's. There's a lot that we have to do and a lot of different areas to. To kind of evaluate and take a look at how we're doing things. Do you have a dry erase board in the office? What do you have? I got a little whiteboard in there, a little dry erase. They can do the whole wall if you want, but it never gets used. You. How do they write on the bottom? This is what I've always like, like how do you get down? Do you. Especially those old coaches that can't bend. Exactly. You got Bill Callahan coaching off it. Like he's not going to be writing on the bottom, you know? Yeah, but if he wanted to. But he could sink the chair all the way down. Like he's changing oil in a car. Exactly. Yeah. I do like whiteboards. So it's a great class. You put music on while you're trying to figure it out. What do you do? What's the. What's the mood in the office? You're now you're president of football. My. My office is actually getting. They're redoing it right now. Big desk. You demanded them to read. Freezing cold open door. That and that booger mobile that we were talking about. Those. Yeah, yeah. I think the booger mobile certainly has its own parking spot outside. Are you a conference call? What do you have? You have big tape. Honestly, like what are you doing? Is it going to be like war room set up? Is it office set up? Is it quarterback room set up? Like, what are you doing? For a setup in there, your president of football, this feels like a pretty big. You're going to have meetings in there. Massive desk. Need a big desk. Mahogany wood or granite? Like just a lot of space between the desk and wherever the person is sitting talking to. And once again, remember, you're elevated. Cuz we're looking D. They're looking up. I don't think it's going to be anything like that, to be honest. Come on. Can't wait to see it. It's going to look a lot different. We are pumped that former players getting roll up like this. We are excited to see what you do in Atlanta. Good luck with everything. Thank you. On your way out here, I know you're spending way too much time with us. We know. Are you? Are you? I'm ready. Hey, you're a Hooper, right? I used to play, yeah. You're also a golfer. I think you're good at like everything, right? Sneaky athlete, right? Very thin. Are you pelotoning? What are you doing? No, I have not been. I haven't been doing. I haven't been doing the last month. I've been just a lot of interviews. This is what you are naturally. Like, this is soft. Yeah. Skinny and soft around the edges. No, but you're. There's no way I'd be wearing that tight of a light color. Special forces. Yeah. Good luck out there, Matt. All right. Thank you. Matt Ryan, all you'll have to do is make this state fair basketball. Where are we shooting from? Right here. Right here in this area. However you would like to do it, obviously there's lights ahead. If you make it on your first attempt, we will donate $20,000 to a charity of your choosing now. Okay. Second and third attempts only. $10,000. If you don't make it, do I donate? If I don't make it, I donate to yours. Oh, yeah. Thank you, Mr. President. The President. That's president of football. Yeah. Yeah. Nobody else has said that, but yeah, you definitely do. That's Very nice of you. Oh, no. All right, here we go. Hey, he has been a suit here for a little bit. 10,000. Does that count? Matt counts. That came out of nowhere. Look around. I get one more, right? Three. You might get two more. Two. What do we got? I didn't see that yesterday. Where's the awareness? I don't know. But also I think that thing's potentially leaving the set with how high you shot. But it hit that thing pretty good. It hit that thing pretty good. Six. Six. Good fundamentals. Great fundamentals. Yeah. I was gonna say I saw beef. Yeah. So do you think elbow follow through. Boom. I have coaching 7 year old basketball right now all the time. All the time. You need to make this for those 7 year olds. They're going to be judging credibility. Okay. So they don't listen to me anyhow. That one. That one will not count. Okay. Okay. I get two more. Yes. Okay. All right, here we go. 10,000. He looked good. It's 10,000. He's too damn tall. He is too tall. He's too damn tall. His head's gonna hit the light. Yeah. Gracious. Ice. Medi. Ice. Good shot. That's a good shot. Keep shooting. I don't know if anybody's gonna make it with this ball. That ball's too light. Too light. But also yesterday they were kind of flat. So then they pumped them up. We got them pumped up. That's a superhero back there. The refs. The refs came in. Yes. Yeah, exactly. It was the inflation level. Overemployed. Gotcha. All right. Is that. Yeah. Okay. Hey, you got to go. Thank you. Thank you. Ladies and gentlemen, the president of football, Matt ryan. Yeah. President, Mr. President. Appreciate it. He's a spelt lad. Yeah. Mr. President. Seattle Flappy his name. That's right. What is. That's his name. You know what I like about his gimmick? Seattle Flappy. He's. He's a bird. So he's always doing this with his head. What's that? He's just always looking. 20k for my kicks for kids program. You pick a charity of your choice for us to deliver brand new shoes to. Okay, Flappy, come on. Let's do it. Seattle Flappy. All right. Flappy is his name, right? Seattle. Yeah. Yeah. See? Hockey, Hockey, hockey. Blitz. Of course. Yeah. We had it. Blitz. Blitz. Blitz. Wait, you. Yes. In what world? And out Hawk is what they're going to be calling you. Hey, Blitz. Good to see you. Thank you for stopping by. You be careful. Blitz might carry you over a ravine and Drop you. Oh, you want to sit back here or do you want. Blitz. Oh, yeah. Mascot wants to talk. I see. Okay. Blitz. Blitz. Are you known to be good athlete? Yeah. Back up a little bit. So. So people say, you know what? Blitz the mascot, much like the BYU cougar who does the. What are kind of your gimmicks? What do you do? Do you fly around a stadium? You throw football on the goal line. Oh, geez. Jeez. There's no reason for that. There's no reason for that. You. Geez, that's so unbelievably rude. Oh, Blitz with the tail feather. I like that. Blitz with the tail. Okay. Blitz. People would say you're a good athlete. You should make this. Nobody has made this today. Christian McCaffrey did not make it. Matt Ryan did not make it. Blitz. For $20,000 donation, all you gotta do is put that. State fair. Hey. Hopefully I stay seated. Hopefully I stay seated. That's a good shot, though. I would say this. Hold on, though. Hold on. Pretty good. If Blitz would have made that. I know, I know. That would have been worried. That was like, really good form. Kiss the whole thing. I would have been worried. Lights. Blitz. Yeah. You got no chance. Yeah. That's why you're not an Eagle brother. You can't soar that high. Okay. Seahawks need to look a little above their head. You gotta look at the lights. I think he's looking out of his mouth. Go on, blitz. Blitz for 20,000. Oh, blitz. Follow your goddamn shot. Yeah, follow your shot. Get your own rebound. Blitz. Blitz. Flying in from Seattle for the super. Sorry. Blitz. The. Yeah, exactly. I was looking for some easy shot. Thank you. Wow. Is he the real Blitz? Good luck, Blitz. It depends if he walks off. No, you'll be. You'll be on sideline this weekend. Are you the real one? Right here. You will be on sideline. This. Everything that is right here will be on the sideline. Someone doing this. All right, Blitz. Blitz. You've been. You've been Blitz. Long time. Blitz. How long Blitz been. Blitz. Long time. Okay. Yeah. Well, I don't. I think there. Right. Yeah. We're talking there, right? Same age. I don't think. Okay. All right, Blitz. Good luck out there. Blitz. Blitz. There you go. Blitz. Come on. Let's just put our swords down. Come on. Come on. Smart man. There's no way you going to shake your hand. Come on. I think he's wearing cutters. Those things are sticky vibes. Good. You know, you don't want to go into a bad. Yeah, exactly. That Was good. He got my fist. He did good. He did. Is that well, I mean, it was good, but sure, you guys can pick a team whose mascot just went 0 for 3. Go ahead. Four, right? Maybe four. Excuse me, even six. It's a tough shot. Pat the Patriot created basketball. Did you know that? Pat the Patriot. No, Pat the Patriot. Actually, though, funny story. John N. Was in the militia. He was in the thirteen Colony militia. He's been alive that long? Yeah, red coat, killed a lot of red coats. Yeah. I believe AQ Shipley's in the back hanging. He's been a great vibe. He went hung out with Sean Lee yesterday. Former teammate of his, now superstar. Thank you, Shipley. Use as a meet and greet. Good to see you. I'll tell you, San Francisco has been fascinating strictly because, you know, not only super good to see you, like you got Alaska. See, not only is, it's a host of Super Bowl. We see a lot of things. These waymos. I need to talk about these. What. What's going on here? Nothing good. Are these in Arizona as well? Do you have these? Oh, yeah. Whenever we route for the Fiesta Bowl, AJ used a Waymo over to my house. 30 minute ride to his house. Okay. So these waymos are these robots, okay. They have no driver and it's like an Uber. They got these sonar gimmicks basically around the entire thing. We saw one accidentally creep across a sidewalk, red light pop up, put that thing in reverse and then go ahead and move out of the way or something. It's wild how smart is. And then you ask, is it batting a thousand? I guess it's not. No. I get from allegedly it's not, but it is a wild. They're everywhere out here. It feels like I'm probably going waymo at some point this week. And I don't. I genuinely don't know how I feel to be in the future so much. I know, I know AJ is a big waymo guy and AQ is, but. But what's it to stop you from just locking you in and driving off the Golden Gate Bridge? I think we've all seen too many movies. Your car can do that already, though. If they want to get you, they'll get you. That's not good. I used an EMP on my car, so I disconnected all of those. Okay. All right. Well, I mean, I do think my car actually could just kind of do whatever it wanted to be, I guess, back at home. And I never really thought about that until this moment. Let's move along. Let's Move along here. I don't need to be. There's a button you can turn off. I'll turn it off. The future culture is here, though, with these Waymos. We're seeing them everywhere. Cannot wait to enjoy the rest of the city. Aq, it's great that you're here because one of the greatest offensive line coaches of all time, I believe, is what a lot of people would say. Greatest center of all time, Jason Kelsey, has come out and said, like, this guy basically created me into who I am. Philadelphia lost one of its staples and one of its goats from its coaching staff. Jeff Stotland, offensive line coach for the Philadelphia Eagles, who's obviously highly regarded by everybody that's ever played for him, basically announced via social media post that he's stepping down. Then there was some more information rolling out. Well, they wanted to change the run game. Last year he was a run game coordinator. They didn't consult with him. Petullo and Sirianni basically told him this is what it is. He didn't love that that was happening. So maybe he felt a certain way. Some conversations didn't go the way he wanted to go after his season ended. Now he's decided he wants to go somewhere else. Wild scene. Especially in a world where everybody talks about being able to put together a good staff with good coaches. This guy would be considered one of the goats, I do believe. AQ stopped. He's Atland in Philadelphia. Why? And what does that mean, you think for somebody else? And who would hire this guy? Anybody would hire Statland to be your offensive line coach. Everybody would hire him right now, today. If you don't have an offensive line coach, you're going to do everything you can to go get him right now. But when you think about offensive line coaches around the league, it's Jeff Stoutland and it's Chris first are out in San Francisco. Two different schemes, right? So they bring a new guy in. Yeah, that guy's a stud. We all know. We all know he's a stud. We all know. Great coach, has to be. Has to be, has to be. But when you, when you talk about Stoutland, I mean, he's. He's incredible. And he's produced so many all pros. He kept that crew together with Jason Kelsey when he came in. I don't know if you guys remember that the Philadelphia Eagles were not that good. And then all of a sudden they go on a run. He's the one who was in charge of that run game. To turn Jason Kelsey into Jason Kelsey and Saquon obviously. And all the boys he has. He has historic years with historic players and now he doesn't want to be there. And the way the stories are unfolding is like, Sirianni ran him out of town. Yeah. That's what people are saying about this entire thing, which is not good for obviously Sirianni, who's going to get hate regardless. But even more so now with. Who are they going to replace him with, I guess is the next question. Maybe Jason Kelce. I mean, who says no? That'd be a pretty cool little story. But even think about Jordan Mylotta. Like, we. We knew Eagles fans when my Lada first came into the league, who basically wanted to ship him back to Australia. And then Stoutland did turn him into superstar all pro left tackle. Like, it is crazy. Now it's more on Sirianni too. Right? Like, this could be something that maybe next year when all those kind of fake stories about Sirianni and the Eagles come out about all the tension that probably isn't real now. It might could be with Stoutland being one of those guys. Done. Yeah. And again, I don't know if this is real, but it did allegedly come out. You know that he basically said, like, hey, listen, fall in line, old man, or you can get the out of here. Okay. Yeah, exactly. Said, we got a new guy coming. Sean Manion. You ever heard of him? His hairline starts in the middle of the top of his head. He's a. He's a genius play caller. And we ain't gonna be running the. Oh, is that what it is? Is it? And you know what Jeff Stoutland said? I don't want to learn Shawn man's scheme. I'm out. Do you think that's a part of it? Is that normal? Yeah, I love. He kind of comes from that world. Listen, I do. You heard Christian McCaffrey talk about it. It's like, okay, on paper it's. It looks like this, but Kyle jus. Check. Actually executing it and doing what he's supposed to do. There is so many minor details that go into these San Fran and Sean McVay offenses. And when you're a guy like Jeff Stoutland who has done one thing for a long time and what he's done and what he coaches now, all of a sudden you got to learn this whole new world. But getting back to kind of what you brought up about my lotta, he's taken more guys like Brett Toth, who was a army practice squad guy, turned him into multiple starts at center. So you Can. It's easy to coach Jason Peters and Jason Kelsey, right. But when you take Jordan Mylotta and turn a rugby guy into an all pro or take Brett Toth and turn him into a starter or Makai Becton, right, Like take these guys. Yeah. Like he is phenomenal at turning guys who aren't living up to their potential into multi year starters. So he's going to be highly desirable in the offensive line hiring coaching process. How many offensive line coaches are hired and fired each year? I mean, well, this year was more than most, right? Because you had 10 openings. So now you get a new offensive coordinator that comes in. You either have the option to retain or go get your guy. And if you come from a. What if they love floor next year they could. They probably. I don't think they probably will. I know there was 20, 21 new OCS this year, so I don't know how that correlates to what the offensive line coach, whether or they're bringing a new offense lines coach or whatever. But that's a. There's a. That's a lot of new offenses. Trenches matter now more than ever. Yeah. Always has. We just haven't talked about it. I think whenever it was all spread out real wide, it didn't matter as much A couple years ago everything was so quick and not really running downhill. And that did creep into the NFL for like a year and a half. Couple years now though, it's all the way back to like if you don't have an offensive line, you're not going to win. You got no chance. Like that's just how it's going to go in Statland's. Available. Available. Big Dom's in the building. I'm sure he has some. He could back even think about the Grazzi. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. What's that? I don't think that's. Yeah, that one. Yeah. Mata I think is a. It's not Italian. The survive at Moza. Not Mata. We're not eating. There was an Italian gentleman out here. Remember his last name? M E C U M Italian though. He say he was Italian so we all thought it was maybe a little. Yeah. Turns out it's just me. May he come. That don't sound very Italian to me. No, it doesn't. Well, Meekum, I think they do though. Little bit. Little bit. Little bit. A little bit. We all do, I guess. Yeah, a little bit. Welcome back to. Oh yeah, that's a pepper thing. First up we've got Harrison wrapping his Dr. Pepper in a tiny quilt. So it feels at home. Oh, how tender. That's a pepper thing. And over to Becca, who's whispering affirmations to her can you're sweet. You're unique. You're the best thing I ever poured over ice. She swears it makes it taste better. It's not a science thing, but it's a pepper thing. Why do they all do it all for that sweet, delicious, truly one of a kind. Taste of Dr. Pepper. It's a pepper thing. And life as a whole is much better whenever sports are happening. And the biggest sport on earth is having its biggest game of all time this weekend. There's a chance that this has the biggest ratings of all time, and it also has the least amount of star power. What new stars or superstars or legends or icons will be born on Sunday, we find out as the Seattle Seahawks take on the New England Patriots. Seahawks favored by four and a half, with a large percentage of the public bets coming in on them. The New England Patriots right where they want to be underdogs kind of discounted, and warriors is what they say about themselves. We'll see if this young upstart Patriots crew is just like the dynastic group of the last 30 years. Sunday's biggest game of all time. Patriots getting four and a half points with Vrabel as the head coach is a fascinating fast Josh McDaniels in the game. Fascinating thing. Could get their asses kicked. Okay. We've seen the Chiefs get their asses kicked last year in the Super Bowl. 127.7 million people watch the Chiefs get obliterated in the Super Bowl. So maybe people are thinking that this has a chance to be the same thing against this Patriots team who's had the easiest schedule in the history of a Super Bowl. History. Wow. History of football. These guys have had to easy. They had to beat anybody. We'll see. Let's go to the top stable at boss. Connor, Natasha, Con man. Life is good for the Patriots fans once again. Yeah, it's unbelievable. And as far as easiest schedule ever. You know, I think the 2025 jets probably beat the 1945 Jets. So let's not say it's the easiest schedule ever. Football right now is very good, but it's a great spot to be. And you talk about future star power. I feel like the more people learn about the New England Patriots and also the Seahawks. They're both very likable teams, teams McDonald and Vrabel. Unbelievable stories. Sam Darnold, Drake, May great stories. I mean across the board, their defenses, the way they play. I mean you heard Bryce Young yesterday say like they don't talk that much trash to the other team. They're just talking to each other. Like both teams very much have a bunker mentality. Seattle, because it's way up there in the top left. No one really talks about them all year. New England, easy schedule, not really contender. Seriously. Especially because damn near every single week you saw a lot of people talk about the Texans defense, the Broncos defense. Even if you go back to the Chargers, it was still a unproven thing with the Pats. But feel great now. And I do think as the week goes on, people are going to start to become fans of Seattle and Patriots and the guys on those teams certainly during the game as well. It's going to be called great. Mike Tirico is going to tell a lot of stories. He's going to get a chance to introduce a lot of people to a lot of things. I'm excited for him to handle that. NBC is going to be great. Let's go to 1/2 of the hammer. Cowboys. AP 10 looking real glad to see you out here. Thank you. I appreciate that. Little. Little moots, huh? A little moots, if you feel, if you will. And what Connor was talking about. Yes, they are two very, very, very likable teams. The only thing that's not likable about the Patriots is the fact that they are the Patriots. Drake May's awesome. V is awesome. So yes, I this is one of those like you talked about the Chiefs last year everyone was so happy the Chiefs got their asses beat because you know that's just what people root route against teams that have been there a lot. This one that where teams, you know there was. I can't remember what company they didn't expect these two teams to be in the Super Bowl. Like they were just fanatics. Oh. Completely unprepared for that. No. So I think like it being these, these two teams, everyone's gonna be happy about it. I love everything about the stories developing and more stars coming to our league. Stars are what make the league. New stars are about to be made on Sunday. Nine year NFL vet looking really cool. Ladies and gentlemen, Derrick Shay Ballers. We're gonna have a good game. I feel like, I think so too and I think, you know, the casual might not know these players but there will be a lot of superstars on that field. Jackson Smith and Jigba had one of the best seasons we've seen from wide receiver. Him obviously in Puka been up at offense player of the year. You got Drake May legit MVP candidate. A lot of people have forgotten with this playoff run and the games and the situations that he's been in. But this is a great, great offense and a great young quarterback. Obviously Sam Donald, he's been playing lights up Kenneth Walker. Kenneth Walker could have one of those Super Bowl MVP type performances as well. So I think Emmon Warrior, he's another guy who you should hear his name. So I hope he's healthy and can get out there and play. Yeah, Emin Worre came out with an ankle I believe from practice. The video of him walking obviously looks like he's limping pretty good. He's not in a boot so hopefully by Sunday he'll be okay. I just thought of a couple, you know, crazy scenarios. Kenneth Walker goes crazy, wins the mvp. Sam Donald still can't do it. You know, that's what people say. Christian Gonzalez, pick six. I mean I can, I can't get that picture out of my. Okay, I see that happen. Okay. I like that. I like everything about that. But if Kenneth Walker goes crazy for Seattle Seahawks, Sam Darnold will get the got carried by even if it's just. I don't think so. I disagree. I hope not because Sam Darnold what he's been doing in big games is been flawless. 300 plus four Todd's. I mean, he's going crazy every single time. AJ Hawk, how do you feel about the vibes here in San Francisco? Does it feel like a Super Bowl? It does feel like a super. I think today feels even more like a Super bowl than yesterday. Every day, as we get closer and closer, I think it kind of. The tension builds, the excitement, everything about it. But you're right, like, usually there's a team that people nationally hate. I feel like we don't have that as much this year. Patriots, naturally. Just because the logo. Yep. And because of. Yeah. Oh, I'm. I don't know. I. I've never really said this, but so many people tell me I'm so sick of them winning. Last year when the Chiefs were winning, I'm so sick. I was like, I don't. I'm not sick of it. I don't know. How do I get there? How do I become? That's what I'm trying to figure. Well, and also, it's a very new Patriots team, but a lot of people don't know that because Vral. He was there. Yeah, we know. It's like Vrael actually came up as a coach somewhere else. Not really even at the Patriots, but he certainly is in the New England Patriots hall of Fame. So I think there's a lot of people that just like, kind of carry it all together. Together. Just the entire organization as a whole. We hate. We don't care how likable this new version is. We hate the whole damn organization up there. And people hate the path. We. The schedule has been a conversation the whole year. And then the playoffs happen. Bad weather. Bad weather. Bad. Not easy schedules in the NFL for the full 17 game slate. Yeah. He's a professional athlete. The playoffs, they're saying it was an easy playoff schedule in college. You could have easy talking about, whoa, whoa. St's a stud. Even if they are, you got to. To. You got to win the game. Exactly. You got to win. You got to win. You got. If you're favored in 15 of your games, you win 13 or 14. That's a great job. The game is happening in Santa Clara. Everything else is happening here in San Francisco. Joining us now, ladies and gentlemen, the 46th mayor of San Francisco. Oh, hell yeah. Daniel Laurie. Wow. Mayor coming out with a handshake. Looks presidential. Yeah. Purple tie. I love it. Thank you so much for these. Joe Montana was saying great things yesterday. Yeah, he was. Mr. Mayor, how you Doing Joe is amazing. Thank you. Joe's the goat. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. To your Pats fans. 4, 040. It's tough to. Yeah, I understand. I. I understand. And you actually have to do that as the mayor of the city. So we. We actually love. Yeah. You imagine come out and you start to talking about somebody else's quarterback. Let's talk about yours. I love Tom, but, you know, he didn't get hit. He didn't have to get hit like Joe. Yeah, yeah. I mean, I was watching Lawrence Taylor talking about how he could just tear Joe's head off and come back. I mean, Lawrence Taylor called Joe Montana the goat. So you're just saying, hey, I'm just. I'm just. Tom Brady's from San Fran. Brothers. Yeah. You could have took him credit for him. You could have took him credit for. We like. We like Tom, too. Yeah, we love. We love having you here. Yeah. It's an honor to have this. This show. You guys do a great job, and I hope you're having a great time in San Francisco. Okay, so, Mr. Mayor, let's talk about that. We had no idea what to expect. We're getting, obviously, reports from people with what their projections were potentially going to be. And obviously, you know, with our existence in this world, there's been a lot of things said by a lot of different people. So, like us coming out here, we had no idea what to expect. We want to let you know, this is a beautiful city, man. Let's go. Let's go. There's gold plating on like a building, and then the next building, like, vastly different. Looks like it is like. It feels like we are in a historic city, but it's very nice and. And I don't think we expected this at all. The walks around town have been spectacular and very active. You got people running and biking, and it's like, this has been a fantastic place. I want to let you know. I hope you heard us say that, because it's very real. I did. I heard that. And that's why I wanted to come say hi and say thank you. You know, listen, I ran for mayor. I've never been in politics before. I'm one year in. I ran because some of those stories were true. We had problems. We had lost our way as a city. This past year, we have taken control. We don't let the outside noise affect us. We focus on public safety. We focus on the behavioral health crisis, getting people who are addicted off the street into help and then welcoming the world Welcoming business back, keep it simple, do the basics. And then our entrepreneurs, our innovators, I mean, we're the home of AI. We got the greatest artists, we got the greatest restaurants, and we just need to unleash that. And that's what's happening. Okay, I love to hear that, because when somebody pitches that, obviously it sounds good. Now, granted, I don't know how much everybody buys into every idea in politics, but how are you able to, like, kind of in. Enact all these things? Because obviously, in theory, that all sounds good. Hey, let's clean up. Let's not listen to the outside north. But you've got to get so many people to agree, right in a line. How do you kind of do that in the politics world, which we don't know much about, but we do know. Hard to get people doing this right kind of a thing. When I got elected, 28% of San Franciscans thought we were heading in the right direction. Today, that number is 69%. You wouldn't find that in any other 60, any. Any other city. So we're all. We're all going in the right direction. We know. Safety first. So I have put my arms around our police officers, our sheriffs. We put more police officers down here. Starting a year ago, we had this Hospitality Zone task force near Union Square, near the hotels where you all are staying. Crime in the hospitality zone, down 40%, down 30% citywide. And applications to be police officers here in San Francisco up 54%. We're using drones as a. As a first responder, as we say, something happens, you get a drone up so our officers can chase safely, not injure, you know, residents, and we catch them. So you. Where'd you come from before being a politician? I ran a foundation. You know the foundation in New York City called Robin Hood? Sure, okay. I work there. He does not. That was politics, right? He just said politics. I'm trying to play the game. I started good, pretty good. Ronnie Lott and I started a foundation in 2005 called Tipping Point, focused on tackling poverty in the Bay Area. I ran that for 15 years. I was actually asked by Jed York and the previous mayor, Mayor Ed Lee, to chair the Super Bowl 50 Host Committee. So I ran this 10 years ago, and then three years ago, I was like, our city is going in the wrong direction. I have to do something. I can't sit on the sidelines and complain. So I jumped in. Well, we appreciate the fact that your resume has provided you the opportunity to stick to what your plan has and turn it back into a beautiful place. I would assume we weren't here whenever it wasn't from what you're talking about, but I do think a lot of people potentially are thinking that that is what it is. Even though in the history we grew up on. Full house, brother. Yes, I did, too. See, that's where we were. This is. This is. This is good. You belong in San Francisco. Come do your show out here once a quarter. This is the greatest. Everybody, everybody. Everybody knows that the. The future is being made in San Francisco. OpenAI anthropic scale. Like, all these companies, they all say Silicon Valley. It's actually happening in San Francisco a few blocks. Okay, so how much you know about it? Are we all right? Yeah. You thought about shutting it all? Yeah. What I'm talking about, you think about unplugging it. Unplugging it. Just unplug it. And we're all getting exactly m. Mayor. Yeah, listen. And the electric. Well, it's not even talking about the power. Yeah, the server substation. Mayor. Don't want to put you in the hospital. You want to go down to the substation. You going to move your power and. AI do. I mean, can we just unplug this thing? Did you go after Fred? Was that you going after Fred? No, Fred came after us. He. Yeah, Fred came after us. Fred attacked us. By the way, I would not want to have Fred coming after. Agreed. He's. He brought me cheese, so we're good. That was a San Francisco resident who came across cheese. Whatever. What? What? Biscuit like a coconut. It's from the best Italian coffee spot in North Beach. So let's go. Okay. We have a couple questions about super bowl and such. AJ has one. As far as the super bowl, obviously, what has it been like planning for this whole situation? I know you've only been in a year, but also, like the politics world, was it what you thought? Like, what are some. What are some. What are some things? I guess you did not foresee you would. One thing About Super Bowl 50, San Francisco was doing well. There's. When I was chair of it, this. The city council, supervisors, they were like, oh, we don't need the Super Bowl. They were like, it was crazy. Believe me, I know. This time around, everybody's on board, everybody's fired up. It's bigger. It's better. We have 270 events in San Francisco alone this week. I mean, you throw a rock and hit some famous musician. Who's playing tonight? Chappelle's playing multiple shows this weekend, one at a 500 person venue and one at Chase. So he's, it's going to be a wild weekend. But as far as the job, I had no idea what I was walking into. It's insane. Like, there was a mountain lion in a residential park last week, and so I stopped by and, and shot at yourself. My friends were wishing that I had done, you know, darted it. We, we darted it and we, we got, we released them in the wild. We did it well. We did it well. There's video of it. There's video. It wasn't AI generated. Hey, we put a tracker on it. You can follow it now. And so one moment you got a lion, there's a drone in a park, and then the next moment, you know, you're talking to somebody on the street who's struggling with homelessness or addiction. Like, you see everything. And then the next moment you're on some crazy sports talk radio show that's all in one day. Hey, what a run, though. I think you've got a couple very good promos today. I think you've said everything that you would hope that a politician representing your city and making decisions in, in your city would say. Last question for you here, Mr. Mayor from D. Bu I love politicians that know ball. Sound like you know ball. How do you think this game is going to go this Sunday? I think I, I, I'm a Niners fan, like, through and through, so people keep asking me, pats, Seahawks, and I just say Niners, Drake, May. I mean, they're so young. Your Pats are so young. I saw the crafts the other night. They're going for seven. I know that's a big deal. That Seahawks defense is, is intense. So I think the question is, can they score points? They obviously it was a snowstorm, but they couldn't score points against Denver. So I think that's, I think the question is, can they get 25, 28 points? Otherwise, I think Seattle. Wow. He said, can I keep up with Seattle? That's the question. I mean, they're offensive. That's a good football take. I want to let you know, that quarterback, I mean, that, what's it. No, no, no, no, no, no. JSN I mean, that guy looked against us. He tore us apart against everybody pretty good. I, I took my son up to Seattle for that game. Oh, that was a tough trip. I also took my son to the 23 championship game in Philadelphia. He was seven. He was in shorts. It was 40 into the high 30s. Worst, worst sports experience ever. But also best life lesson ever to To. They were heckling an 8 year old. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's it. I'm somehow said he needs some help too. Somehow. I, I'm, I'm friends with the governor of, of Pennsylvania and he invited me to the game a few weeks ago and I told him, I said, governor, your fans heckled my 8 year old son. I said, those are your people. I'm not coming again. We won. What did he say, though? He said, good. Yeah. You know, he was like, he's like, you'll, you'll have better seats this time. Yeah, smart, smart. Horseshit. Okay. Yeah. I have a question for you and this is the last one. And this is a real question. You are a Democrat, I assume? Yes. Sounds like what you're saying though, a lot of. And I don't know enough, but I do have friends on very different sides. Sounds like what you're saying a lot of. I think the other side would agree with everything that you were kind of saying. Is that happening in politics ever? It sounds like it kind of is. What we're like a real question. Are you guys ever going to be able to. I, I don't think about the party. I think about San Francisco. People always want me to chime in on Sacramento or D.C. pat, and I just say, I'm focused on San Francisco. I'm getting rid of the nonsense, focusing on common sense. We got to a place where we were. It was all ideological. It was all like, how do I look apart? And that's what we got tired of in San Francisco. And they were like, no, no, I just want to walk my kid to school and feel safe. I want to open my small business, not get broken into. And that's why it's working in San Francisco, because we're not focused on that noise. Yeah, I love that because like, taking a stand to actually enact that takes a lot of people probably not happy. So like, yeah, I mean, walk outside with me. Yeah, I could imagine. Yeah. Actually we're doing pretty well on it because people see cleaner streets, safer. 69 brothers. 69. Yeah, we're up from 28. Look, you remember your number? Oh, yeah, we're up 50 some. 40 some. Yeah, you're doing a lot of numbers out here, brother. And I appreciate them all. We appreciate the hospitality and I hope you have a great time. Go enjoy yourselves. And, and I appreciate you saying good things about our city because when we're at our best, it's the greatest city in the world. All right, let's make sure we're monitoring that AI though. Yeah. Seriously. Understood. Yeah. Nice to meet you. Unplug it, foxy. Good call. Shoot. I don't want to. Mr. Mayor. Shoot. Oh, let's do it. I wanted to throw a football. You can stay right there. You want to. We're playing basketball this week. All right. My son's going to be. It's a state fair game. What is the expectation level we should have of you making this shot? Do you know what I'm saying? Like what. What percentage high school basketball? 80%. 20%. Okay, okay, okay, okay. Hey, hold on, though. This will be for. This will be for 100,000. Oh, it's bouncy. It's bouncy and light. This will be for, hey, $100,000 donation to something here in San Francisco if you make it on this first shot. Whoa. Nobody's really been able to do. Smart move, Mr. Mayor. 100,000. Yuck it. That was nice. Awesome. Well, sandbagging a bit. Yeah. Yeah. He is fooling me. Same thing. Same deal. Same deal. Oh. Follow through a little bit. Hey, Mr. Man. Come on, man. 100,000. You would not be the only one that would miss. It's a very difficult shot. No one's made it today. But if you were to make this, this would be very cool. I see what you do on the field. Goals and. Come on. Day. Screw that. Never a doubt. Walk off. Wait, is that Daniel. Worry like eagles. Holy. Yeah. House good. You too, buddy. What a shot. Holy hell, yeah. Right? Let's go, Dan. Bit of a wet jumper. Bang, bang. Never doubt. Was that 20 too, by the way? Was that four, or was that the third one? Have a chance. Yeah. AJ was talking. I didn't really. No, I didn't expect that. I did not either. Maybe that's. He had to take the jacket off because he was. It was. I mean, constricted. Caffrey couldn't make it. A lot of numbers coming out here early, man. There's 28. These people are talking about one year with me. 69%, I think. I think it really sucked here. Yeah. I think everybody's saying that we talk to, like, local police, we talk to retired police, we talk to some business people. We talk to other people we encounter here. Mayors. Like, yeah, it wasn't great, Joe Montana. I think everybody's going to say it wasn't great. We weren't in a good spot. But we all kind of made a decision we're not going to do that anymore. And I think San Francisco showcasing to us. I mean, I don't know about the world. I don't I don't know how people are going to change their opinions about what's going on, but it's. It's a beautiful place, and we're trying to make everywhere a beautiful place. I believe Jones. Joining us is a man who is here. I literally just kind of popped up here and. Okay, ladies and gentlemen, alongside Rod Woodson. Hell yes. I believe he's the administrator of the. He's the head of the dea. Whoa. Yeah. Who's here on a mission to try to stop Fentanyl. I believe in our society. Ladies and gentlemen, Terry here. Tony. Wow. How you doing? My God. How are you? Yeah, how you doing? Oh, yeah. It's an honor. Yeah. Yeah. You good? Legend. How you doing? Yeah. Hey, appreciate going, Connor. Thank you for doing that. Aj, I think you can. Yeah, you can sit there in the front. Aj, you just bounced down one Rod. Sorry we got you down there. You obviously deserve to be up on a. You know what I mean? We appreciate the hell out of you. Okay, so very rarely, you know, does. What is your official title? Just so I know. I'm the Administrator of the Drug Enforcement Administration. Okay. Okay. So administrator. So you administer the administration of the Drug Enforcement Agency. So, Pat, I'm the number one guy at the dea. I'm a career special agent. Okay. From New York. As we were talking last night, Shout out, that has worked all around the world. So I played in the super bowl of dea, of drug law enforcement. Okay. Sick. I like that. I was in Bogota, Colombia. I was in Afghanistan. I was in Mexico City, Dallas, New York. The Super Bowl. The super bowl of what we do and what we're here to talk about today with Fentanyl Free America. Okay. Okay. Okay. So Fentanyl Free America. And I think we watched some of those in narcos, I believe some of the things that you just referenced right there. So thank you for, you know, signing up to protect our country in this particular way. I grew up Western Pennsylvania. Our generation. I'm 38 years old. I think pain pills kind of led to the use of, you know, like, heroin and then everything. Like, a lot of my friends have passed away due to drugs. Now the modern thing is fentanyl, Right. That is kind of the new 16 to 44. 44, like, kind of outgoing out crowd. And you guys are trying to spread the word that, hey, hey, we need to be careful about everything that's going on. Is that kind of what you're on right now? That's absolutely right. And we've teamed up with the NFL alumni in Health brought in the hall of Famer, the Super bowl champ, who's got a great story to tell as well. But to get the word out regarding fentanyl, especially counterfeit pills that are coming in from Mexico that are poisoning and killing so many of our youth. Yeah, and it's same type of demo and we thought that maybe a lot of people that want watch this show and that demo could potentially be hearing these stories. Rod Woodson, you being a part of this is obviously huge for all of us. Thank you for your contribution to sport football. You're obviously a legend. How did you end up getting tied into this mission here, Rod? Well, I mean, Kyle, one of my old teammates reached out to me and it kind of touched home to me because my oldest son was dealing with some drugs when he was in high school. But being blessed, and I'm saying it kind of crazy like that, but being blessed that it wasn't in this era with fentanyl. And so going out there and trying to talk to these young kids that we listen. We all have one of these, right? We all got a phone. Yep. We all got, we're all on social media and these kids are buying drugs or prescription drugs, what they think on social media platforms. And you can't. So you have to go, you have to go through your trusted physicians to get your prescription through the legal, legal way, through a pharmacy and tell these young kids, just be smart, be smart. Let's make some smart decisions. And if we can do that, then we're helping our young kids. Terry, when did this start with the fentanyl? Because it feels like last couple years. How long has this been kind of the thing? And are we at max emergency with this or how are we slowing it down, down? So, Pat, it started to ramp up in 2015, roughly in 2018, 2019, 2020 is when we saw it. At the height roughly about 100,000Americans every year were being poisoned and dying. Last year we had a significant decrease due to the president, due to the attorney general and due to awareness getting out into the communities, having these discussions, empowering, empowering parents to have critical discussions with their kids. Empowering coaches, empowering churches, the faith based organization and these parents. Pat, when we walk into DEA headquarters, we have the faces of fentanyl. There are 7,000 kids pitchers on the wall from losing their life to fentanyl. We have another 15,000 parents that have petitioned to have their son or daughter put on the faces of fentanyl. That's a constant reminder to the 12,000 employees at DEA that we need to go out and protect. We need to go out and have awareness. We need to go out and spread our word. But we are an enforcement agency. We are built on enforcement, global enforcement and operations. But when we have an opportunity to go out and spread the word, to team up with an NFL champ, with a Hall of Famer in this network work, it is critically important to get our message out there. And that's what we're all about, saving American lives and defending and protecting our national security of the United States. Well, I appreciate the hell out of you. What's official title? Administrator Cole? What is your. How do I. I just want to make sure. I call Terry or what do I. You call me Terry. Yes, sir, Administrator Terry. Yes, sir. Okay. Administrator Terry, I appreciate your passion for this, honestly feels like you. You've committed a lot of your life to trying to protect our youth. And the crowd that I hung out with a lot, the demographic of people that I hung out with are the people that are probably getting attacked by this the most, people with similar mindsets to me. So I appreciate you committing your entire being to this and 12,000 employees at the DEA. And Rod Woodson, I love that you're putting a little backing in this, because as soon as you show up, everything's legitimized, brother. Bill Coward told a story last week about you catching punts over your head like this. I did some stupid things in my life, you know, but I mean, I enjoyed doing it that way. I caught. I caught with my eyes. I mean, you're supposed to move with your body. You catch with your hands, right? And, you know, it's just. It became natural. I did it when I was a kid, and it just. For me, they were. My coach was like, hey, put your. I need you not. You can't catch it with your hands like that. I'm like, what are you talking about? It's a football. Don't you catch with your hands? He's like, I need you to put your elbows together. I'm like, dude, come on, let's. Let's be in that athlete. Let's just. Let's go out there and let's have some fun. And then the good thing is Bill Cower. Even before that, though, I mean, Chuck. No, Bill Cower, they allowed me to be me inside of the Mike game. Okay. Yeah. One of the greatest athletes of all time, one of the greatest football players to ever exist. So whenever you team up with them, it's obviously going to spread the word a lot more. So I appreciate you Doing that you just mentioned, obviously, legends in Pittsburgh. We appreciate the hell out of you in Pittsburgh. How do you feel about the change? Mike McCarthy. I was surprised. I mean, think about it now. Chuck. No. Young. Right. Bill Cower. Young. Mike Tomlin. Young. McCarthy. Not so young. So I was a little surprised. Obviously, he's from that area. The only question is, who's going to be this quarterback? Administrator Terry. We're talking about a winning football organization. You know, Pittsburgh. Absolute legends. Yes, sir. New York. I don't know. Yikes. I'm a Bills fan, so I'm Western New York. I'm a Bill. Come on, now. I'm gonna represent and I'm scared. I got my detail out back. You saw them yesterday. You saw me roll deep. Very deep. As you should. By the way, we appreciate what you do for our country. Thank you for getting this word out. We'll continue to try to spread it as well. Because this is something that should stop, needs to stop, and you're not gonna save a lot of lives. So thank you for doing that. Thank you for stopping by. Thank you for letting us be on the platform. We ran into each other just as we were crossing paths last night. This shows your passion to protect your community, to spread the awareness. And we are hiring a DEA. DEA.gov, one pill can kill DEA.gov careers. Special agents. Downrange, 91 countries, 354 offices. Domestically, we are an enforcement action arm. And we're back to global enforcements. Pat, love to see you sometime. Okay. I don't know if you'll be seeing me anywhere out there, but I do appreciate that you are, Ladies and gentlemen, the dea. Hey. Administrator Terry Cole. Thank you all. Thank you. Thank you, man. That was awesome. What a promo. That was incredible. Yeah, that was incredible. See you down range. Awesome. Yeah. All right, Legend. Thank you. Appreciate it. All right, Terry. You're the man. The freaking man. Rod Woodson's a legend piece. Just casual Rod Woodson dropping. Yeah. And Administrator Terry. Yeah. Crazy. Hey. Thank you. That's the Super Bowl. Hell, yeah. How you got it down range? Yeah. We'll talk down range. See you down range, Terry. We'll talk down range. That's the super bowl, mayor. And I was down there in Bogata. Yeah. That guy is a big swinging dick. Yeah. Mexico City, like one of the highest ranking. I mean, that's crazy. Guy runs the dea. We walked outside after the show yesterday, had something set up, which was cool to go to. Which is interesting, you know, because get a chance to chat with a lot of People here that you don't really get to see. And, you know, yesterday was cool. Walk immediately outside. There's a lot of Escalades. A lot of people. Okay. And it's like, somebody's here. Yep. Like, somebody's obviously here. Before you get there, somebody's obviously here. Turn the corner, doors open. He's kind of like just getting into the car. Like. Like it's a movie scene. And I go, holy. You know, just like classic holy. Just because I want to see the person turn their head. And then somebody goes, pat, how you doing? I go, hey, man. I didn't know who it was. I'm a ghost. You wouldn't know me. Yeah, exactly. That gets in the whole thing. And I'm like, oh, dude. Very nice to meet you. Thank you for spreading that. Because, honestly, our generation. I don't know about your guys. Oh, yeah, for sure. Absolutely. We were like, I feel like at the beginning of when it got really bad as well, because he mentioned kind of the eras and tears of, like, with fentanyl in use and stuff. Like, even Rod mentioned with his son, like, this era now, it is so bad. Yeah. Because I can't even dance. Like, there's not even a. I mean, it's like weed stuff. You get tricked. Yeah. Yeah. It's scary. And obviously, more knowledge of that is better for everybody. Speaking of knowledge, we all know that our next guest. Yeah, yeah. Okay. We all know this image of a human that is super sized to a proportion that you didn't know a human body could actually go. And then you think to yourself, wow, is that the biggest, strongest. Yeah. Actually gonna deadlift something off the ground. 11, 24 pounds. What? Now, on the video, it's not in pounds. Cause they do it in kilograms. Yeah, whatever. Whatever. Those stone, obviously. Ladies and gentlemen, joining us now from Iceland and Game of Thrones. I don't know how to pronounce his entire name. Don't mess it up half more. Julius Bjornsson, also known as Thor. Yeah. Yeah. I think you nailed it. I think you nailed it. Holy. What the hell? God, it's good to see you. Great to see you. Jeez. Holy. What an honor. Nice to meet you. How you doing? Holy freaking mountain. Yeah. Trying to rip my arm. Yeah, right here. Is that okay? Yep. What were you doing there? Just sizing them up. Yeah, it's real. Yeah, anything you want, Bob. I think that probably happens a lot smaller fit. You all right? I'm good. Thanks so much for having me, guys. Pleasure. Pleasure. Pleasure's ours. Hey, enhance is on your Back. Yeah, yeah. You are an enhanced human. You know, like, looking at you here, it's kind of. I've been in wwe. Okay. I've been in wwe, obviously. Gigantic human beings. NFL. Gigantic human beings. You turn the corner here. It was a little bit of. There's. Yeah. Holy. Yeah. You have a real presence about you always. When did you start growing? When. When did you start becoming bigger than everybody? I've always been bigger. Always been bigger. Bigger, like as in, like, like, like being tall. But I. I had to, like, really work for my size. I'm. I'm actually quite small right now, believe it or not. You know, I'm usually a bit heavier. I'm only 400 pounds. It was like around 450 pounds. That's, like, at my heaviest, 450. So I'm relatively small right now, guys. So I'm. My apologies if you guys. Okay. We're not getting the full experience. You're saying we're not getting the full experience. Yeah, I saw. I saw the look on those guys. They're like, this guy is looking kind of. No, no, no, no. Just watched the last season of Game of Thrones. Yeah. No problem. Is there. How many calories a day? How many meals? So right now, around 8,000 calories, you know, I got to bump it up a bit, you know, soon in my preparation for the enhanced games. May 24th in Las Vegas. And you're going to be trying to break your own record, right? Is that what's happening there? Correct. My world record is 510kg, and I've broken it. This is the third time I've broken it. So this is going to be my fourth time breaking my own world record. So, yeah, I'm stoked. I'm excited. At the Enhanced Games in May. You said May. May 24th. May 24th. the resource Source world. Yeah. Can you tell me a little bit about the Enhanced Games? Because we learned about this quickly. There's going to be no drug testing. I believe they're going to be doing all the sports. Is that accurate? Is that still how it's going? Yeah, so. So there are roughly 50 athletes are going to be competing on May 24th at the enhanced Games. There are swimming, tracking fields and then some strength, you know, people lifting some. Some heavy, heavy, heavy things. So, yeah, it's going to be a fun event. Fun event. Are you competing in the event or just doing this event at the event? What do you think? I think you're winning the whole damn thing. I am competing, man. Okay. So I don't want to get too much into the enhanced stuff, but how is that process going? Yeah, so it's really, really like I feel, I feel really good and safe going into the hands games because not only do they have a lot of professionals, you know, people that really take care of you. Before I was approved to go to the hands games, I had to go meet with professionals, have my heart check and do blood work to make sure that I'm qualified and enough to compete at the enhanced games because obviously not a good look if I'm not healthy enough to compete and be enhanced, you know, so everything is done professional. I will be taking good care of. I'll be checking my health in this journey along with these professionals. So. So yeah, it's, it's, it's done the right way. You're going to be given blood, they're going to be testing your blood. The whole process. I might know a little bit of it. You know, I'm not enhanced game, but I'm certainly utilizing modern sciences. So I'm excited to see what the enhanced game part. You booze at all or are you like, you drinking beers? White hammer beers? Whiskey? What? Maybe a little tequila? What? Vodka? What. What are you offering me right now or. Well, we could. Where's Joe? Yeah, we got. May have a couple. Yeah, I'm sure. Coffee? Yeah, actually, to be honest, no, I don't actually. I don't drink. No. Ever. Have you ever? I have, I have. It's not like I drink. I just choose not to because I am, you know, active in my sport and trying to become the best, be the best. So, you know, trying to be the best. I gotta make right decisions for my body and for myself. If I'd be, you know, drinking, you know, driving downtown every other weekend, you know, I'll probably not be making as good progress. So. Every decision I make in my life is based on performance. Yeah. So you're locked in. That's what we just got out of comparison. Completely locked in. Go ahead. Well, I mean, to the drinking point. Like, do you have to drink a bottle of Jack Daniels to get drunk? Like, how do you. How does that even work? It's not a bad call. So that's. That's a great question. You know, I. No, actually not like, like, believe it or not, like I. I don't drink neat a lot because my body's not used to a lot of alcohol. Sure, I don't drink often, but when I drink, I'll have few drinks. Maybe if, if I drink, I go out with My wife maybe have a few red wines. You know, it's nothing crazy when I. I'm not hammered, if you're asking. What are we doing? Protein. All protein all day. Oh, yeah. Protein, carbs, fats, healthy fats, you know, wax the balls, you know, it's. It's pretty straightforward. Pretty. What's dinner look like? What's a normal dinner? A normal dinner is. Is usually, you know, beef tenderloin. Either. Either some potatoes, you know, or some white rice. Some. Some car sales. That easy to digest because I have to eat a lot of carbohydrates. And then some vegetables, you know, like. Like mixed vegetables, whatever, you know, that's a typical. Typical dinner. I'm actually a massive fan of Greek yogurt and orange juice together. Together. Sometimes I put fruits into it as well. I mix it in a blender and it's. It's quite tasty. You ever hear of anybody drinking their own pest? Never. Never. Never. You never heard that? You've heard of that? Yeah, that guy. Tell me about that. Well, is that something. He's a face of it, right this 10. This tends to be a thing that he. He will perpetuate over the years, but. Yes. I've actually never drank my own urine and I. I don't plan on it, but there's. People have admitted to it. Like UFC fighters, different guys. What's the reason behind it? Like, is it tastes good? Must be thirsty. Electrolyte. They like the taste. They like the warm taste. And it's good for your. They say. Yeah. Replenishes your nutrients. Absolutely. Nonsense. Exactly. What? Drink your own. No reason. If you add a couple cubes, you have a glass of ice cold piss. No sense, man. I don't believe that. How does the body feel? I. I know, like when you're walking around here, a lot of people making you do feats of strength. Has that been happening? No, thankfully not, man. Thankfully not. No, just been peaceful, man. Do you think. Thankfully not. Thankfully not. You would. Okay, so we are maybe get some piss? Yeah, maybe. Yes. If we were to potentially have you squat two super bowl champs, do you think you'd be able to do that? Squat two super champs. Super bowl champions. Yeah. We have two super bowl champions amongst us here. If they were to both get on your now, they would be going chest to back. They'd be on top of your baby. I don't think that would even work right, guys. I think it could work. Do you think you'd be able. He would be one of the guys. And then this guy Talk for a lot, have you guys. Well, you haven't seen the other one. Yeah, this guy. This guy's got four feet. No, you know the other one. This guy. Do you think you could squat this man? Squat this guy? This guy's like 600 pounds. Holy. He's our mouth. Massive guy. I'm not going to break my legs. I'm not warmed up yet. Not warmed up yet. Break his legs. Thank you so much for what you just provided to me for the rest of my life. All. Thanks, buddy. Have a good one. We almost got it. You don't just. Just, like, start lifting your palms. Not warmed up. You got warm up. You got to warm up. What if I. You told. Told you that earlier today that he. The. The guy that you just called £600 was on his back and he squatted him. We were trying to. We were trying to. That's absolutely not. It was rehearsal. We got it on film. You squatted that guy? I actually didn't get to a squad. He fell off my guy. With those legs. Not the £600. Yeah, it was tough. Damn. We were trying to rehearse a little bit in case this actually happened. That's impressive. Thank you. I love it. I started losing some weight. Thank you. All right, well, Thor, thank you so much for joining us. Did I pronounce the name right? Half boar. Julius Bjornsson. It's pretty accurate. Yeah. Boom. Half Thor. Julius Pearson. Hey, thanks for having me, man. Thanks for having me. Thank you. Good luck at the Enhanced Games. I appreciate that. And we can follow along and watch. Jesus Christ. What's up, dude? What's up, man? Huge. Yeah, like Lesnar, kind of. All right, all right. Game of Thrones. Did you actually crush a human's head? Or, I mean, with, like, two takes? You know, one take with his face, you know, he was like, back. You know, to squeeze more, and then he had the fake. Fake face. Yeah. How much fun was that whole. How much? Because obviously, as soon as your name is mentioned. Yeah. What a run. What an incredible run. Enjoyed it all. Meant for it. Perfect for the job. You think? Yeah, it was fun. It was fun. You know, I. It was my first big acting gig, though. So I remember, you know, I was walking upstairs before, like, there's a big circle. There's everyone watching. There's, like a big crowd, all the big actors. Everyone's there, and I'm there, like, in my. In my. In my. In my early 20s, you know, fucking peeing my pants up. So nervous walking up in this big armor, you know, I'M like, if I up, everyone's gonna hate me. So I was like, I was really nervous. I was really nervous, you know, because I didn't want to up. But thankfully, thankfully, I was able to manage and do an okay job, I think. Yeah, you nailed it. Absolutely nailed it. Have you ever done professional wrestling or anything like that? Ever think about it? Never. Never? I mean, yeah, you think about a lot of things in your life. You think, well, yeah, what if you did this or that or that. But yeah, I'm still like, grateful for my journey. I picked a good career and I'm happy with where my life is at. But, yeah, of course you think about, like, what if I did that or that. Now anything still works. What if I did NFL, you know, and fuck some guys up? Exactly. Boom. Yeah. Still possible. Still good. Still. All these things are still possible. Oh, man, I'm 37 years old, so. Still possible. Let's go. Five, five impossible left tackle. And we got crazy shipyard. And also with the science you're talking about, maybe you're able to navigate around some of the tests. You know what I'm saying? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Maybe I can. Yeah, that's good. That's good. Yeah. We appreciate you. You're the man. Ladies and gentlemen, half boy for Julius Bjornsson Haftor. Julius Pearson. Think of it. Yes, Julius. Maybe some voiceover. Thank you. Thank you. Yeah. Seriously. Yeah, he did. Yeah, he got me. Thank you, thank you. Appreciate it. You're the man beast. He got me just like Adrian Pearson got me. Yeah, you got. I had to get in. You gotta. You gotta get web to web on the massive hand human beings. Because if you're not, they just got you the whole thing and they know it. They're having a little moment with you right there. He knew. How's it going, little guy? That's what. That's what they're saying. You got to know that whenever you're doing it. So next time you go in there. And also you have to set up the next attempt. They're not trying to get another one. So you gotta let them know naturally that you're you. Hey, I'm good to see you. Trying to get back in there. Web to web. Yeah. Yep. If not now, granted, if you lose that again. Yeah, never again. He was a real big stare in your eyes handshake guy. He watched so big. Had to do it. Felt. Felt like that was on purpose. I turned him over hand wise. Ladies and gentlemen, it is time to be joined by somebody that I think we've all Kind of seen grow up. And we all are massive, massive fans of. Ladies and gentlemen, hailing from the beautiful country of Australia, son of icon on his way to be his own damn legend. Ladies and gentlemen, Robert Irwin. Robert, how you doing? Great to see. Thank you. I appreciate you holding. He's sick. Son of a bit. Robert. Snakes out. Oh, right next to this is Priscilla. Priscilla. Is she cool? Look at that. Yeah, she is. Very nice. Yeah, yeah, right there. You want me to put the headset on you? There we go. Oh, yeah, yeah. Perfect, Perfect. Yeah. I've seen you work the mic at the. Back in Australia at the. I forget that. The Australia Zoo. Yes. Yeah, that's where I am. Mate, I'm so impressed. Impressed by your charisma, your moxie. Not just because, you know, you come from a family of that, but it feels like you have the same genuine love that we've seen from your family for animals forever. Thank you. Feels like you're perfect for the position you're in. Do you agree with that? Oh, mate, absolutely. I mean, I'm just born into it. Like, I grew up at Australia Zoo. I grew up catching crocodiles and wrangling snakes and like, it's such a privilege for me, you know, to get to continue a legacy, a legacy that my dad started. You know, he was, I think, the most passionate human being in the entire world. And now to, you know, kind of pick up where he left off is such a privilege. But, you know, he also loved to be in the NFL, mate. Oh, yeah, I love that. That's what we're talking about. I mean, anyone who can wrangle a crocodile, I can, I reckon, can give a good tackle. So on that note, I think your family actually is a representative of Australia to a lot of Americans. Yeah. You hear of Crocodile Dundee, who's obviously one Steve Irwin. And you hear of Irwin family, certainly another. So I think the way we have viewed Australians is basically through your family. On that note, we've all now gotten a chance to meet more through football because guys coming in from Aussie Rose football. Yeah. It feels like your country is filled with people that would love ball, but also great times. Your country is filled with great people at great times. 100. You know, and like, we are like the most avid sporting nation. Like, when we get behind a Sport, we are 100%. Oh, look, look, she's coming up. She's starting to put a little bit of constriction in there. It's all right. No, we're good, we're good. But, yeah, like, I Can't breathe. We're fine. We're fine. As long as you can still breathe, it's all good. She's non venomous, so. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's not about that. It's about the hug, isn't it? That's the one. But yeah, you know, like. Do you want. Do you want to hold it? No. Yes, yes he does. Priscilla's a bit active. I don't think that is really my. Sure. Come on, man. Put her on the helmet. Old is Priscilla. How old is Priscilla? How old is Priscilla? What am I doing on my hands? Just put your hands out like that. There we go. She's going to hang on to you just like a tree. Look at. Oh, look at that. Look at that. Look at. You're doing it. You got it. How good's that? You just held a snake. Yes, I did. Hold on. Look at that. I don't know how long it's going to last. I want to make sure I get a good shot of this because it's never going to happen again. Whoa. Well, warrior right here. Check that out. You want me to take her? You good? All right, all right. I got it. Ready? Ready? Let's go under. There we go. Nice. Well done. There he is. Well done. Yeah. How do you feel? Good. Right? Done it. I feel very thankful it wasn't around my neck. You know, cuz most people that do the shows. Whenever this was obviously pitched, I knew I immediately have to do something with snake. This kind of how this whole thing goes. Sure. You know, she's. She's going in my shirt. This is a bit. Hang on a minute. I have to get this out. Wait, how do you travel with. Yeah, but we saw, we saw in Dancing with the Stars. You're jacked though, so that's fine. Oh, geez. Yeah. You did it. You are. You are incredible though, honestly. And I think you represent a continent and a country filled with people that will love football. Which is why we are incredibly pumped that it was announced that the NFL is going to Australia. But we have haven't known who's playing. I believe you are the only human maybe on earth. Yeah, you do. Look at those eyebrows. Good eyebrows. Yeah. You're the only one that knows who's playing in the game. Do you want to make the announcement of who's playing in Australia? Mate, I would be honored. Well, yes, of course. The NFL's coming down under down to Melbourne now. We know that the Rams are playing, right. But what we don't know is who their opponent will be. But I can say for the first time they are going to be going up against. Well, we're here in San Francisco. It can only be the 49ers. That's gonna be a good game. Let's go. That's gonna be a good game. Great coaches, great teams, great environments, great cultures, great everything. And whenever this happens down there, the travel in and out, the timing of it all. Has that all been figured out, the logistics? Because I think. I think you're. We tried to get into Aussie rules football. Yeah. But like 3A. 3:34am Games, tough to kind of get in with. With Australia, with the NFL, how has that kind of been working out? And how big do we think it can get over there? Oh, I think it's going to be huge. I mean, the. The love for NFL is real in Australia. I mean, like, my whole family, my dad grew up playing footy. You know, that was. That was it, 100%. And when you start to see people like, you know, I was just hanging out with Jordan Malata, you know what I mean? And he was the first Aussie to win a Super Bowl. You look at these guys that are now from Australia leading the charge, making it big in American football gridiron, as we call it in Australia. I love that. It's like, wow, now all these kids growing up go, I've got a chance. I could play in the NFL. And as an Australian, that means a lot. And so to have a game right there, I think it's going to inspire the next generation of Aussies to come in, join their mates over here in the States. Mates. And give them a run for their money. Join the mates in the States. Yes. Yeah, Yeah. I love what we're doing. Good. You are the perfect person for all of this, and I'm thankful for that. How old are you? I'm 22, mate. Jesus. Just getting started. Getting started. How old's Priscilla? Priscilla, She's. She's still young. She's still got a lot of growing to do. She'll get even bigger. Oh, yeah. She'll get real big. And when she constricts at full size, you know about it. AJ has a question for you. As far as that goes with the animals, are there any animals that I guess, you know, now that you dislike, that you don't really, you know, handle as much as others? Maybe that may be dangerous. Well, you know, hey, we don't know. We'll stay away from this guy. Put it this way, like, if I'm introducing someone to a snake, like, you just Held Priscilla, right. I would not be doing that with a venomous snake. Okay? In Australia, we have the top 11 most venomous snakes on Earth. We've got a snake called the inland taipan, the fierce snake. And they get this drop for drop, more venom than any other snake on the planet. They are so toxic. It's wild, but they're the most cool, calm and collected snake stuff. But, you know, it's like anything. It's like the difference between riding a bike or riding a motorcycle on the road. It's like the difference between, you know, playing a game of backyard yard footy in the super bowl with wildlife. It's the same thing. This. This little sweetheart, I can give her a little kiss and it's fine. An inland taipan, I'd be dead. So, you know, those are the sort of things you've got to look at. Those are the sort of things you gotta weigh up, you know? But I'm excited to introduce, like, the players when they come to Australia for this game. I want to get them into Australia Zoo. Crocodiles. Yeah, let's keep them away from the inland type with the taipan. Yeah, yeah. Let's keep our guys, you guys, away from this, please. We would like this to continue. That would be fine. Crocodile. Crocodile. You guys have alligators too? I got alligators and crocodiles, but the crocodiles are the Aussie ones. They're the Australian. Australian animal. And, mate, they are wild. Okay, tell me about kangaroos. Obviously a lot of conversation about human versus kangaroo in a fist fight. Okay, right, now, see, here's the thing. So kangaroos, right, people think they like, box, right? Well, what they do is it's actually about the kick, so. Yeah, like that. Exactly. So when they're like fighting territory, like. Yep. They balance on their tail. What? Yeah, they grab each other with their hands and then they're like, boom. Like that with that kick. So, mate, I mean, I'd love to see one get a field goal. Imagine that. Oh, big time punt. Yeah, yeah. Big punt. 100. Yeah. Okay. So do we think fighting, you'd stand a chance if you were to fight a. I would. You know what I would do? Do? I would just not instigate a fight. I would like, stay, let him be 100. Because they fight amongst themselves. But as long as you give him a bit of space, a kangaroo doesn't want anything to do with you, you'll be fine. Like, it's not something, when you arrive in Australia, it shouldn't be, like, a concern. You're not like, oh, man, I got to get ready to size up a roux. You'll be fine. You'll be right. Yeah. What about. What about spaghetti bowleroo? Is that a dad delicacy? No. No, it is not. No. We've been lied to. No, no, no, no. Goddamn booby brothers. I'm telling you, people back in Australia are going to watch this. We have respect. We. Please know we have a lot of respect for you. I was in Brisbane for like, eight days, love. I've only sang its praises, but we do not know much. I think. I think that is what we just learned of Aussie rules really far away in 2020. We just learned this game in 2020. It's like we started watching it. It's like, this is awesome. And then I want to. I went to a Brisbane Lions game whenever I was over there. It was like a soccer vibe. Wow. With the intensity because it's happening all over the place and there's huge shots. Everybody's boozing. It was like, I think these people would love the NFL the more they get introduced to it. Michael Dixon, you talk about punter for the Seattle Seahawks. Him and Darren Bennett, obviously. Darren Bennett back in the day for the Chargers. But the punting position because of Aussie Rules football. Oh, yeah. Is like a great introduction to the country and I think it's only going to continue to grow. The timing is the crazy thing, though. Go ahead. Yeah. And recently, just on the kind of topic of sports, especially with next week and the week after, Ray Gun, the break dancer from Australia. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Ray Gun with the. Yeah. You know, I was like, it's about time someone brings in Australian wildlife to Olympic dancing. I was like, yeah, go. Let's get it. 100. I was just. When I did Dancing with the Stars, I was just following Ray Guns league. That's all I was doing, you know? Yeah, yeah. Tell me about you just crushing that because there's a guy in the back, Evan Fox. Yeah, Foxy, you might be able. There he is. Right? There he is. He was pumped that you were coming on because of what you did. Yeah. Ain't that right, Foxy? Robert, from beginning to end, you were absolutely outstanding on Dancing with the Stars. It was such a pleasure to watch you. And the fact that you put your name in the same sentence as Ray Gun is the discussing your 10 times. Oh, my God, it's an Olympian. That's an Olympian. She's a breaker. Well, listen, thank you very much. Like, that was the craziest thing to get to be part of. That was wild. See, I was partnered up with Whitney Carson, right? She was the professional dancer I was with last season. She was partnered with Danny Amendola. And it was interesting to hear about how, like, for him, he was saying it's like. Like training for a Super Bowl. It's like training. Yeah, I heard it's a very grueling. It's a grueling thing. And I feel like I have new respect now for the guys that are getting in there and. And. And. And training for a massive sporting event. You know, it's. That's what it feels like. But to represent Australia, to represent wildlife conservation, which is what I'm all about. Australia, Zoo, my home over there. It was such a privilege, but, man, like, I didn't know I could dance. I was a terrible dancer, but. But now I feel like I can hold my. Yeah, you can. You're showman. You're confident, you're comfortable. We'll continue digitally as we sign off here on tv. We'll be back from Radio Row tomorrow. That's Robert Irwin. What a stud. We'll see you. Goodbye. Okay, we're still live. Oh, awesome. You know that? Oh, yeah, yeah. Professional. We just dropped off the tv, everybody. We're still on it. Yeah, I got you. I got you. Yeah, yeah, yeah. What are some. What's some Australian lingo that we need to start? Start. There's one word. There's a very important one. It rhymes with. I don't know. Starts with a C. It rhymes with punt. No, no, I'm thinking of a different one. Okay, it starts with a C, Right, but it's. Crikey. Okay, we know. Crikey. Yeah, that's the one. Like, all right. Okay, here we go. We got to give it a good. Crikey. Right? On the count of three, you go, 1, 2, 3. And you got to go. Crikey. Okay, we'll let you do it first, and then we'll follow you guys. Give it a go. Right? Ready? Crikey. Yeah. Okay, go, go. One, two, three. Crikey. That okay? Yeah, that was good. That was good. Okay, so we don't have to do it again. That's. That was perfect. Yeah, that other C. One. That. Yeah. One. I'm out. What else? Like, mate. Everyone is mate, right? Like, that's like. Well, unless they're young. Unless they're your. Yep. You know? Yeah, no, that's. I don't know where we're going here. Yeah, everyone's like, oh, yeah. G', day, mate. G'. Day. How you going, mate? How you going? You Know that's How you going. How you going? How you going? But it's like one word. Hey. Going mate. I like that. Yeah, that's it. That's good. That's good. See, I feel cool. You're to going, guys. Country cool, I think. Yeah, we're. We're. We're legit. We're pretty cool. And everybody's pretty jacked. I was over there in Brisbane. I didn't see many out of shape. I think everyone. We're such a. We're such a. Like an outdoor country, you know, we're all about like, hike and bike and surf and well, for me, catch crocodiles, you know. So like, we're all really. Okay. Now, on that note. Yes, yes. The head's up here. Oh, do you want me to show you. You want me to show you how to catch a crocodile? Yeah, on the snake. Show us on the snake. I see actually the handle or something. That's all right. Except Priscilla, you. You can hold her while I do this. Thank you for doing that. There you go. Thank you. Just, just. I mean, with a flat hand, just like that. That's absolutely. Robert, please, sometime for us. Aj, aj. Where does she dump and pee? I don't want to be on. On your hand right now. Are you doing it? It's already happening. Am I good like this? I see the handles right back here. You're perfect. She's not. You got this. All right, so. Okay, so let's say you got a crocodile right here, right? Hold on. Let's make sure we got a good view of this. Okay, so. So here's the crocodile. You want Connor to lay, right? Yeah. You want me to lay down? Oh, please. Yeah, get in there. Get in there, crocodile. Connor, here. Okay. Make sure you do it. So here's the crocodile. I'm lining up. I'm get. Someone's going to have to back me up on this. Okay. Okay. Get in here. Okay. All right. So I'm rescuing a crocodile. Yes, you are. Thank you for doing that. This is a very important. When you back me up, this is his tail. You gotta make sure he doesn't death roll. All right, Ready? One, two, three, jump. Go get him, get him. He's rolling. Get the tail under control. He's got. He's got glasses. Come on, Khan. Connor get bitten, right? We're going to take a break. We're going to take a break. We appreciate everybody. This poor guy. Snake. Probably you're the best. That's a great. Of all time. He's an American crocodile. He's an American crocodile. He can't tame him. He can't. Lion ain't supposed to be tamed. Oh, yes. Thank you so much. Thank you for that. She's great, Robert. She did great, Robert. You have no idea. Yeah, he really. What happened? Good job, mate. That was. That was. I've never had a croc put up a fight like that. Don't you forget it, Robin. You can't catch me. It's America. This is America. Not me. Strong. Dude. His tail was so strong. I tried. What's up? You would know. Yo, we forgot we didn't throw the towel over his eyes. Yeah, that was the problem. That was the problem. Problem. Dang it. Okay, what else? What else? So we gotta go from the back, obviously. Unless it's. Unless it's completely out of control. If we get a. If we get bit by a snake, obviously we're tying a belt above it. That's the right there. So the compression bandage, if you get bitten here, you want to, like, start at the bite site, wrap all the way up the limb, keep it immobilized, and the venom will not travel. Don't suck it out. Doesn't work. Work. That doesn't work. That's a myth. Are you supposed to pee on it? That's two moves. That's a jellyfish. Jellyfish. Okay. You do pee on that, though. I mean, you can. Well, you can pee on anything. Yes, that's the spirit. Will it help? But no, that's not really. That's the spirit. I don't know. That's not. Okay. That's not the medical advice. I would say jellyfish is a whole nother thing. But if. When it to comes. It comes to snakes, what you want to do is you want to make sure wherever they've bitten, that you be still and you wrap it right. And then you get to hospital very fast. And you. Fine. You'll be fine. I'm gonna stay away from the inland taipan. That's the one. I'm gonna stay away from that one. Robert, I'll tell you what, maybe the greatest performance we've ever had. You should move to Indy. We'd love to have you on the show full time, legit. I'm ready to go. Yeah. Thank you so much. And also awesome. NFL Australia. Yeah. Yes. Los Angeles Rams, San Francisco 49ers. That's the one breaking. What city? What city is it happening in? Melbourne. Melbourne. Melbourne, Australia. Okay, here we go. Mcc. Is that what it's called? Mcg. Mcg. That's the cricket ground. The Cricket ground. Huge. It's going to go off like a frog in a sock. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Y. Let's go. You're the best. Ladies and gentlemen, Robert Irwin. Thank you. Thank you. See you later. You might be the greatest human of all time. Oh, man. Yeah. Sorry for messing up your hair. You'll never catch me. You'll never catch me. Do we have a replay of that? Connor was rolling his gator death roll. He was not prepared for it. No. There was people, like. So there was. I looked over here. There's people lined up. There's people doing newscast. I seen that happen way battle. I'm so happy you did battle. He battled. He's like jiu jitsu. That's me. He's not ready. I knew. I looked up and I saw, oh, this guy's not ready. I'm about to roll the. Out of this crowd. I didn't expect Tony. I felt another body as one crocodile. I was the backup. Yeah. I need to. I need to take my game to another level. Let's get to a break. We apologize to whatever. Very little. Look at this. I mean, they're shooting with us in the backdrop. I mean, that is like an actual. I made eye contact with Robert Irwin's down here. I made eye contact with Pat as I was on the ground. I lost it. I just. I couldn't do it anymore. It was hard to. It was hard. I just, like, look over. I had to throw my glasses. I did. I saw that. I said, crocodile's got glass. I was so into it. Oh, yeah. H. All right. You're going to sit right here. Okay. Yep. Oh, man. Tone. Oh, good. It's in the back one. Tone. You got so prepared. Yeah. He was laying on his side. What crocodile would be on his side? Confused by that, too. Never saw her coming. You better. You. You bring the body when you're coming for it. He's dead right there. Yeah. Look at Variety Ro. All right, Mike flew off. Let's take a break, please. Should have goosed you. That might. That might have stunned me. Yeah. Flashbang. One of the greatest crocodiles I've ever seen. That's one and all on the week. You know, as a croc, that's all that matters. In the trenches. Football it is the greatest we're so incredibly lucky that football is celebrated all week out here in the bay and across the country as the biggest game of the year will take place on Sunday as the Seahawks and the Patriots will do battle while we here in a convention center, the Moscone center here in San Francisco. We'll talk about a lot of things that do not have anything to do with this particular game, but certainly about ball as a whole. We're lucky to be a part of this celebration. Thankful to be out here. We hope you can feel it wherever the hell you are. Watching the talks with tables here at Boston Connor and at Ty Schmidt, one half of the Hammer Cowboys. AP Tone is here. Nine year NFL vet looking so cool. So cool. There's Jay Butler is here, Super bowl champion A.J. hawk is here and ladies and gentlemen joining us right now is retired Marine Ooh RA Never mind. We will see him in a matter of moments. Ladies and gentlemen, joining us now for the good of Toyota thon an absolute San Francisco legend, a man who is a goes from Mr. Irrelevant last pick of the draft to. Holy hell. This man is the key to the future of one of the most storied franchises in NFL history. San Francisco 40, 49ers quarterback. Come on, Brock. I was wondering. Cool jacket. Yeah, we didn't know. Cool. Yeah, we didn't know what he was here for, and then we saw that. Yeah. Yeah, that's cool. That's good jacket. That's a good jacket. And that is, like, kind of in the Brock Purdy line of clothes that you would wear. Right, On a regular basis. Yeah. 100. Yeah. I'm gonna go get whatever my wife gives me. But when it's got Toyota on it, it makes it even better. Hey, wasn't there a John Deere deal you did as well? 100. That's what we knew. Yeah, we knew. Bleed green. Oh, hey, man. You're damn right. Amen. I mean, some people come in with Kubota and the other. Not on this show. No, not on this show ever. That's why when you signed with John Deere, we thought it was a big deal. They don't just put that deer on anybody. And obviously, your story is one that is incredible. Why Toyota thon? Is it just because you dominate. Dominate during those times of the season? Yeah. Holiday season, good football, and then, you know, some great deals with some Toyotas, man. So, Toyota thon, what's your favorite Toyota that you drive around? Rob 4. The Camry. What is the. Yeah, I mean, you can't go wrong with just about any of them, but I think. Oh, yeah, Sequoia. That's right. Okay. Yeah. Toyota songs. Yeah, it's a good time. It's a great time for the year. Let's talk about you becoming a fixture of this city and obviously Santa Clara and everything over here you go from Iowa State, irrelevant to the superstardom out here now, I assume life's vastly different for you here in San Francisco now. And what is it like being a made man in a city that is so, like, storied with history whenever it comes to football? Oh, yeah, it's been awesome. You know, obviously, coming from, you know, Arizona to Ames, Iowa, to national San Francisco, where the history of sports here, man, with football, basketball, baseball, you name it, and just how welcoming they've been. And obviously, you come in and there's a high standard. You got to win and do your job. So, I mean, obviously, with Shanahan and the boys, I've had a lot of good guys around me to help me where I'm at. And obviously, I want to bring number six in for the Niners and the organization. So, I mean, that's the goal. But everyone's great here. Love it. Okay. You get hurt. Mac Jones comes in, plays pretty well. I'll be honest, we are a part of it. I don't know if you heard it from us, but I don't like that we were. Because I feel like we were a part of the purdy train very early in this entire thing. Mac Jones comes out, has success. I started thinking to myself, I think a lot of people started going, hold on, is Kyle Shanahan about to do it again? Because that was who he initially wanted to draft. Yada, yada, do it. You come in after that and it felt like your play was the best that you have ever. Is that an accurate to, like, why do you think whenever you came back in there, it was a different level? Sitting back, rehabbing injury help you? Like, why do you think you kind of hit your stride in a way that you did? Yeah, I mean, you know, even before the season, like, I wanted to come in and play my best brand of ball. You know, year four, I felt like, you know, pretty hungry to do that. And, you know, we go into Seattle week one and we win the game and obviously deal with the toe thing. It's like, come on. But I don't know, man, maybe that was God's way of, you know, having me sit back and see, you know, the big picture with everything and see another quarterback, have Matt come in and how he ran the system and learn from him and, you know, and how Kyle calls pledge. Like, I thought it was pretty good for me to sit back. Obviously I wanted to be out there and tell my team win, but. And then when I did come back, it was like, you know, the chips back on the shoulder, man, and you got to go and you don't know if tomorrow is ever going to be granted, man. You got to go and take it every. Every game, every week. So I don't know, I feel like it just came back, played hungry, and it was a good little stretch we had. I like to get a perspective shift in that particular way. As opposed to like a full season, you get a few weeks where you kind of, you know, are excited to be back out there. What is it about you in this system? You know, because we act like we talk about it. Well, it's your decision making, it's your accuracy. Like, why do you think you fit so well into the system? We asked Christian McCaffrey the same question earlier, and he talked about how everybody blocks downfield for you. Why do you think the Shanahan system is so good for you? I feel like, you know, Kyle does a really good job with teaching the quality quarterback that the system, like his system, there's a way to playing it. You play on time, you play within a rhythm. And more than anything, he teaches the quarterback to play efficient. If. If it's not there on your second hit, you're back here to your outlet. Stay on the field, stay ahead of the chains. I don't know. So he's definitely helped me, you know, take my game to the next level as a quarterback and how I see the game and I don't know, man. I think the play caller and the quarterback, those are probably the two most vital things on off offense. When it comes to, you know, leading the offense, there's so many other things that go into it, but having him has helped me, you know, come into and be a professional quarterback. What are you, year four? You just said there when Patrick Mahomes went on the barbershop. He said it wasn't until like two and a half years or three years or something. I forget when he started understanding what the hell the defenses are doing. Yeah, for you, it feels like as a seventh round pick, let alone the last pick, you're going to have to have very elite other things to keep you around. Was it understanding what's going on defensive side? How quickly were you able to figure that out? And when was there a moment where you're like, okay, I think I got a pretty good grasp on what defensive coordinators are going to do. To me, I feel like that's still a thing, you know, I'm learning and trying to get a better grasp on. But I will say, like, you know, when I first got in, it was all about like, you know, our plays, how Kyle coaches the quarterback, playing on time, and it didn't matter what coverage it was. I know that I know what the play call is. I know I'm throwing, throwing this on plant. My first hitch is here, my second inch is here. So it was almost like playing robotic, but it was, it was good. It gave me like a guideline to play in. But then as I've played, it's like, all right, I need to start understanding coordinators and why they're calling coverages. And expect when we cross the 50 here on second and long, you're going to get some kind of pressure. So be ready to throw hot. Like there's things like that that I can start piecing together and Kyle can help remind me throughout the week I feel like, yeah, in year four, I had a, a pretty good feel on it. Third downs, red zone, different coverages. Like, I feel like I had a better, better feeling of it. Obviously, defenses nowadays, man, like, they're going to be doing so much. You guys probably saw that Kirk Cousins thing. Like, you're not always going to know what they're in and that's, you know, props to them. The coordinators are drawing up stuff, but at the end of the day, how can I be efficient? Have an idea. But within, you know, our system, just play quarterback, be on time and stay on the field. How do you feel about the big bad wolf, Mike McDonald, coming to town? How do you feel about it? Honestly, that defense, they are potentially historic if they go on to win and obviously have a title in it all. And it doesn't feel like that's leaving obviously, like Kyle Shanahan. With you on the offensive side for the Niners, the offense is never going to leave the Los Angeles Rams. With McVay, we assume offense is going to be great. McDonald defensive guy with that, how does that feel whenever he shows up and what is their defense so good at? As somebody that played against him, obviously multiple times. Yeah, man. Obviously they're well coached. Got a lot of respect for him. What he's. What he did in Baltimore and then coming over here in Seattle. So, I mean, I think just across the board, you know, they're. They're sound. They don't do a lot of exotic things, but what they do, they're very well coached and you know, they got a really good front that put pressure on the quarterback, stop the run. And then on top of that, they play obviously predominantly two shell, so they take away the explosive plays downfield. So. So it's, It's a really well coached defense. It's. It is tough, but I mean, we went in there week one, we got it done. So it's not to say like, all right, like, oh my gosh, we can't do it. Definitely can. So they're a rival, but, you know, it's going to be fun going against them year after year. I do like you Niners guys. Yesterday we were talking to Fred, so, yeah, this is an interesting year for the AMC West. Next year will be the exact same as you guys know, he said anomaly year. Okay, Niners, though, still, let's make sure we're. Yeah, very good defense, big bad wolf certainly already got. Okay, let's make sure we understand what's going on here. AJ Has a question for you. Brock yeah. What are. I guess you and Kyle, how the relationship has grown. But also, like, he's in your. He's in your helmet now. He's in the speaker. Are you a guy that likes a lot of information? We've talked to different coaches and players. Some guys want to break the huddle super early, and the coaches give it them some little tidbits at the line before it cuts off at 15. What's Kyle like with you? And I guess what do you. Has that changed over time? Yeah, he's done a good job with, you know, he tells me that plays, you know, and lets me go. And there's some things, you know, he'll tell me beforehand. Like, hey, remind JJ on this to cut down a split and to look hot. Like, as you're walking to the line or you're standing. That's usually pre. That's usually, like, right before the huddle. Like, right before I walk in the huddle and say the play. He's done a good job with. When I walk up to the line, like, not being in my ear, letting me play clear. He's done a really good job with that. And obviously at 15 seconds, play clock, you know, cut or the headset cuts out, but he's done a good job with that. He is a competitor editor, so there's times, you know, if I'm making a bad read or don't do my assignment, I'm gonna hear it from him, like, immediately. But, hey, that was the right play call. Prick. Okay. Yeah, the. Look, Brock, what are you doing? Like, there's stuff like that, but I appreciate it because, one, he's real about it. Two, he's a competitor, and I'm the same way. Like, I'm telling myself the things that he's yelling at me if I make a mistake. But he's also does a good job if, you know, make the right play, make the right read. He builds you up. Does he remind you to, dang it, dance after you score? You were kind of getting it. Reminds me how bad of a dancer I am. No, Kyle, he's wrong. I don't think that was accurate. There's a lot of people trying to bury you because I think you dress the way you dress, that they don't think you'd be able to move a little bit. Yeah. I feel like you've practiced that, and, you know, it was good. And you. Yeah, okay. Yeah. Build off it. Yeah. I think my Dougie can still get a little bit better. But, you know, Kyle will say in team meetings, he's like, yeah, Brock's doing whatever that cringe thing is. I'm like, what are you talking about, bro? He's trying to hold him. There are a lot of people saying that. I think you nailed it. D. But has the last question for you. You got to get out of here. Yeah. What was this like this week like for you, preparing for the Super Bowl? Obviously, you know, you try to make it like any other game. I asked Matt Ryan early what was it like for him preparing with Shanahan. Obviously you want to be here again, but if you can go back, what was the week like and was it anything that you would do differently if you end up here again? I thought it was cool. You know, you have two weeks to prep. Usually that first week you're where you're at. So we were here and you get all your prep done that week. And so the second week you can clean up all the little details. But I mean, you guys see it. There's a lot of media. There's a lot of things that you got to do throughout the week. So it's a little different. It can throw you off with your, with your prep and whatnot. But I feel like, you know, we did a good job with getting the first week done. And so that week two, you handle all the fiasco and then you got to go play on Sunday and perform and win. We went to overtime. Like, you got to be locked in. So. So I don't know, maybe if, you know, we get back, I would that second week. Still have a better idea of handle the media, but lock into, you know, prepping and getting ready for the big game. What were you doing? Saying too much in media. They were burying you for a long time. You were ass. Yeah, people were saying you were ass cheeks. There was a lot of ass cheek talk about you. Yeah, there was a lot when you were dicing like you were, you were doing that we'd never seen before. Yeah. No, it's all good. Are you an ash athlete? Yeah. What are we doing? Okay. This ball, state fair type ball, it's gonna be much lighter than you expect. Whenever you put it into your hand. This hoop right over here. If you were to make the first shot, you have three attempts. First shot will be a twenty thousand dollar donation to a charity of your choosing. Second and third attempts, only ten thousand dollars. There has been people that have not made a single shot. There's been one person that made it on their first shot. Jamar Chase. Okay. Fred Warner. Worst shot attempt we've ever seen by far. Christian didn't make any either. Yeah. Thing. Yeah. The Niners. Yep. That was fr. That was France. That was so bad. Yeah. Yes. So that's the. The bottom. Okay. That's the bottom, so you should be okay. Did you play hoops in high school? No. What? Oh, no. Really? Quarterback. What? The quarterback playing baseball? Hey, I had to throw. Yeah. Do some farming. John Deere. Whoa. All right, let's do it. If you could go back, would you go to Iowa instead of Iowa State? Dude, don't ever ask that question again. What about Penn State? Actually, Pat, real quick. I actually do. We're all clones. Hey, are you. Are you gonna be okay that, you know, Coach Campbell leaves and the entire program gets gutted on the way out? And there's a chance like that Iowa State's never worth a. Hey, Mikey, you're a Hawkeye. I can. I can tell. Yeah, I know. You never beat the Hawks in college either. No, I know that is a tough part. I only had two chances at him. Still, like, that's something that I got to live with the rest of my life still. I think it's going okay. Don't listen to this guy. His wife's from eastern Iowa, so I got a lot of respect, you know? You found it. Yeah. Yeah. No, no. That's the best thing I took out of Iowa. That's for sure. Dang, dude. Yeah, I know, cuz. A such a reason. I could say some stuff, but I'm. Oh, they're a good man, Ton. Obviously. Ton, baby. Not to bury the Hawkeyes. Okay. Hey, wave to the kids. Yeah, exactly. You said earlier about something about Ames going through there, and he went. As you were talking, it was some of the most disrespectful I've ever seen. That's a robbery. That's a hawkeye, though. Yeah, 100%. I mean, Iowa City, like, bro. Hey, I won't hold it against you, cuz you're not from Iowa, but a Ames compared to Iowa City, brother. Dude, real. No, it's a real college town, bro. Like, yeah, so is Iowa City. Nah, bro, Ames is a. But we don't need to. There's no reason for this world. Hey, Hole. Cooper Najing was on the show. We're at Tyrese. Halliburton's shoes are on the show. It's out of state. Yeah. Come on, man. The Hallies. I hate doing it because I like you. I like you, but it's just part of me, you know? It all comes back back to. Could you imagine if you guys had a A quarterback? That'd be true. Oh, my God. Dude, it's bad. It's been bad. Well, CJ Be. Wasn't too bad. I love cj. No, I'm just saying, like, grasp, you know? You watched him. Okay, ladies and gentlemen, it's time for the charity super shot here at Radio Row for Super Bowl 60. Brock Purdy, quarterback of the San Francisco 49ers, representing Toyota and Toyota Thon. Hell, yeah. Oh, yeah. Toyota Thon really never ends. I thought we were past it. We're still in it. Valentine's Day. Valentine's Day. Yeah. Yeah. Toyota Glow Up Classic. On Wednesday of Super bowl week, Toyota hosted the cosmic bowling for flag football. I saw that. That was cool. If you do recall the Glow Up Classic, a glow in the dark flag football All Star game for standout female athletes from the Bay Area played on the same field as the NFL Pro bowl games, shout out to you. Being a part of this, you played. We did not play. We coached it. So. I like that. Amazing. Your team win. We did, right? Nice. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Nice job, bro. That's all we do, man. That's all. Okay, now let's see if you can win $20,000 for a charity of your choosing. I believe Kylie Kelsey was also there last night for Toyota Thunder. If you're gonna make it on the first shot, which not a lot of people have been able to do. 20,000. Let's go ahead, Brock. Let's go now, Brock. Rock. Put one home here. Dang it. I like the aggressive line. I like McQuade. What a touch by McQuade. Grab it. Throw it. L. What's this one chest pass, McQuade. That's a $10,000 shot. Brock Purdy. All you got to do is put that state fair ball into this hoop over there. Jamar Chase also went with the bank. He was a first time maker. I like what you did there. Little range check. Oh, man. We got it. I got you. I got you. Thank you. Brock getting his own rebounds. Of course, he falls back. Yeah. All right. Fundamentally sound, you know. Last one out. Energizer bad. $10,000. Dang it, dude. Man, the Niners just don't love charity, man. Sorry. Get out of here. Are you a. You're a Pats fan, huh? No. Off. Where's it from? His name's Boston. I'm a. I'm just joking. How about this? Hey, there's a pretty good Christmas, too. Just before Christmas, Brock was able to help those in need by giving away nine Toyota vehicles to military veterans and families. With children battling pediatric illness. You're a good man. We're appreciative you're in the NFL. Thank you for stopping by. Ladies and gentlemen, Brock Purdy. Appreciate it. Appreciate you. Hey, good on you, Brock. Oh, yeah, bro. Thank you, bro. You're a great city, Brock. Brock's jacked, huh? Yeah, he is. Jack. What's that all about? You too. I mean, you can just tell everybody. This guy, we're in his city right now. I know you can tell he's got the fire in him. And I just. Yeah, I was really trying to stoke it. Yeah, yeah. I tried to get it out there. I want to see him. I do. Yell at me like I'm one of his receivers. Yes. Yeah. Like I'm Iuke and I won't show up. I did forget. Oh, my gosh. We never asked him. We made it through so many niners. It was on the tip of my tongue. Yeah, the electric thing. We didn't even bring it up there with. Kind of saved them. Kind of saved them. Ladies and gentlemen, joining us now is obviously one of our favorite comedians and actors and also retired Marines here for the Pat Tillman Foundation. Ladies and gentlemen, Rob Riggle. Yeah. Yeah. That was a good entrance right there. Juice. A lot of juice. See? Good to see you, Rob. How are you, sir? Thank you so much. Boom. Get around here. That is amazing. Okay, first of all, we'd like to say thank you for your service to United States of America. You know, I got a chance to go down. I told you this. To Paris island, where Marines are made for the eastern half. Yep. That's not. You want it? I know. I was just testing. It's real. I was just testing, see if it was real. Oh, yeah, no joke. That's real. What do you think? That's legit. What do you think? After feeling it one time, you think it's pretty real. You are gold, though, sir. Just want to let you know that Paris island, where they make Marines, we got a chance to see it. Oh, that was a professional transition. You see how he bridged back to 0400. We were up there for lights. Lights. That's what we're talking about. Hey, Slay, dude. Okay, so as we continue to roll here, thank you for your service. Thank you. But also love the way you transitioned into utilizing what probably made you an excellent Marine into the entertainment industry. We love your style. We appreciate the hell out of you. And also putting on here for ex NFL er, who we all have massive respect for and Pat Tillman foundation, we thank you again, Rob. You're one of our favorite humans, so thank you for this. Tell me about the Path Tillman foundation, how you're working with them, how you got kind of associated with it. Oh, my gosh. Well, thanks for that intro. That was incredibly kind of you. Great golfer, too. Not as good. Yeah, great golfer, Great golfer, great golfer. I've got some help with that. My. My girlfriend's a professional golfer. She tends to help me with that. Yeah, she's unbelievable at reading the greens. Very good at that. Yeah, she's the best. Yeah. Yeah, agreed. And everything else. The Pat Tillman foundation, first of all, I was unbelievably honored that they asked me to, to be their official race starter for Patch Run, which is in its 22nd year, and it's down at Tempe, Arizona on April 11th. You can go to patchrun.org or just ptf.org to learn about the Pat Tillman foundation, to learn about the run, to learn about the good work that the foundation does, which it really does. I mean, they've got over a thousand scholarships they give out. They have a bunch of work that they do to make the lives of veterans, veterans, spouses better. You know, Pat, to me, he personified sacrifice. He personified service before self. He did what people talk about, but never, nobody has the cajones to pull the trigger on. He actually put his money where his mouth is. You know, he believed in this country. He believed what it stood for, and he was willing to walk away from something that was very lucrative, to kind of start at a very humble place, going through boot camp and then achieved becoming an Army Ranger and then going to serve his country. Obviously, unfortunately, he was lost to us. But that kind of leadership you just don't see every day. It's human. Yeah. Like, everybody that signs up for the military has a superhero like courage, I believe, because you're signing a line saying, I'll go if you have to, but if you already have an NFL career that is looking promising, to then say, nope, I'm here for something bigger than that. To serve your country, obviously, is why we at the NFL are so incredibly proud that Pat Tillman was an NFL or that he was a part of our league, that. Everything like that. So I appreciate you showing him respect. And also, you're running this. Are you going to. You're the race star starters. So what are we doing? Are we just doing a quick start and then you hit him at the golf cart at the end or you sprinting this thing? What are you. What are you doing? I know. I'm gonna. I'm gonna. I'm gonna run it. Okay. I'm gonna run it. How do we feel about the shape? How do we do a lot of running? You look like you're in great shape. I don't think there's Marines that get, like, fat. I don't think that is a thing that Marines really do. I. I don't. I hope we don't. But it happens. But generally happens is you're, like, in. In Marine shape, and then you're just like, in. Okay, I can. I could do it if someone was chasing me. Yes. And so I kind of. I think that's where I'm at right now. I'm. I'm super lazy right now. I'm gonna have to get off my butt and start training for this thing. If it means anything. A guy who. Thor. The Mountain from Game of Thrones. Yes. Strongest man in the world. A man who was considered by the Mountain too fat to pick up. He's planning on doing the run as well. He's in the back back there. So I think we all got time to get in shape to do this. Okay. If he's doing it, we got no excuse. We got to get out. Out there and shake. Exactly. That is the way to look at it. If he's doing it, anybody could do it. That's kind of what the Mountain. That's kind of what the Mountain is saying. That's kind of what they said. We got. AJ Has a question for you, Rob. Yeah, Rob, is this weird that your Kansas City Chiefs aren't here? I feel like you. I gotta tell you, this is a. For three years in a row, I've been coming here for. To see the Chiefs of the walk. Of the walk, baby. Battle of the ball. Yeah. It's gotta be weird now, right? Right? Yeah, it's. I don't. I kind of don't know what to do with myself. It's a. It's awkward. I'll be honest. What if it's over forever? Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no. That's cra. Wait, what? No. Yeah. Don't put that evil on me, Ricky. The Patriots. The Patriots are back, Rob. Patriots are back. They're meaner than ever. Welcome home. We talked to Jamar Chase and T. Higgins. They're going to be good again. The Patriots are not back. They're. They. They. They got back. They got back to the Super Bowl. Oh, okay. I give. I give total credit where credit is due. They. They're here, and I wish them the best. Thank you. But back, back. 23 year old quarterback. Okay. I can't argue that. That's a good point. Mike Vrabel. I love him too. Yeah. Okay. Josh McDaniels is kind of like the offensive. Okay, why don't you guys shut up with your good points, all right? I'm not hearing that. I'm here to get. Kansas City Chiefs are coming back next year. Patrick Mahomes, Andy Lee got the enemy. You got an early lead early. We got the enemy back. Mahomes is going to be hungry like the wolf. God bless. I didn't want to, I don't want to get in that path. No, I, I, I believe in my heart of hearts that we're going to surround him with all kinds of good weapons. Oh, yeah. The best. Yeah. No, we're not. No. Kelsey, though, you know, Trav hasn't made any official announcements. I'll Grant Reed. Why does everybody think he's automatically retired? You know him better than getting too quick on the guns there, Travis. I, I don't know. I like, I like the odds that he comes back. I like the odds. Okay. That feels like a big deal actually right there. And he also said on New Heights, can't wait to see B Enemy back in the building. So I think that is these little, little. Oh, it's almost like a little. Yeah. How she does the tips and clues. There's a chance, you know, that the Kansas City Chiefs do get back and we're still in the middle of the dynasty. But it's so hard to get here, man. So hard. So hard. That's. I think people really underestimate, like, if you, if you make it a Super Bowl. And I tell you, people, like, I mean, people who don't have any connection to the game at all, whatever, which exists. It's so hard. It's so hard to show up every year and deliver and deliver and deliver. So, yeah, yeah, I. Patriots for 20 some years. I know the Patriots. Look, no one can deny them. No one can deny what they've accomplished, what they've done, and the fact that they're back. Hats off to them. And then the Chiefs became kind of like the Patriots. Everybody started hating you guys. Well, that's what happened. People throw rocks at things that shine. We're doing it. That's what happens. Look, I'd rather be on top and have people throwing rocks than down in the sludge pooped on. Devon has a question for you. I know it's only Thursday, but do you have an early lean on Sunday's? Game. Do I. Oh, yes. I. I have. I don't. Yeah. Who you got? Oh, God. It's. I think it's. Seahawks are favored by four and a half. That's right. And I. I think if you. On the whole of the scales of justice, I think the Seahawks probably are a little stronger. Oh, you. He's just talking about the scales. Talking about the scales. Scales of justice. Yeah. I hate those scales. Those scales of justice are criminal. But here's the thing. That's why you play the game. You play the game because nobody. You don't know, nobody has an answer. Nobody knows what's going to happen. Agreed. But on the scales of justice, as they stand on a. On. On a Thursday. Yeah. All right. On a Thursday, the scales of justice, I think Seahawks. It's 27. 20. Okay. Seven point. Okay. Ty has the last question for you. Curious. How do you feel about the new stadium in Kansas City? I feel like something. It's kind of weird that Arrowhead's not going to be their home stadium any in 20, 31 or whenever. It's. Yeah. It's weird to think that Arrowhead's the oldest stadium in the league. It's crazy. Wow. Really? I didn't know that. Me neither. Crazy. Yeah. High mark's gone. It's. It's. I think it was built in 72. Doesn't have a three story apartment in it, though. It does. I've been in it. It's really cool. It's amazing. It's amazing, actually. Awesome. It's. It would be my dream. It's the greatest stadium in the world as far as volume and energy and barbecue tailgating and it's a wonderful place. But it is moving over to the, you know, on the other side of the state line, indoor and. And now hopefully we'll get a retractable roof, so maybe we can get a Super Bowl. You know, every. Things change and things got to get upgraded. They did a nice face lift, but it's time, I think, you know, to get that new thing going. So. Yeah, of course. I'm a little heartbroken. I'm nostalgic. Unlike anybody else. Don't. Change is hard. Change is always really super hard. But it'll be. It'll be the change. It'll be a good change. Yeah. Might be changing into the Patriots era again. Yeah. I mean, unless they get Chiefs of Hollow. You guys are in Kansas. Yeah. Need to get Chiefsaholic out of prison. I got to give you this shirt. I got to give you this Pat Tillman shirt. Thank you, sir. It's going to run in this from Pat's run. Thank you. Please tell the Pat Tilman foundation people that we love them. I think they know that. We talk, we sing their praises. You guys are so great. We appreciate the hell out. We appreciate the hell out of anybody that makes the world a better place. Which you do. You look fit. You look like you're ready to run. I don't know about running. Science. Science. I'm on science. Yeah, you're. You're going to make it. Yeah, the enhanced games, me and Thor, you know, kind of getting after it now. Are you a shooter or do you. Would you be able to. You. Yeah, I. Yes. That came out confident. You don't have to. Don't feel obligated here. You heard it too. No, I want a piece. I want a taste. Okay. Okay, ladies. Time. Come on, Rob. For the charity super shot here with Rob Riggle. Rob Riggle, retired Marine. Guys. You guys are getting me motivated right now. Yeah, I like it. Okay. If Rob Riggle is able to make this state fair basketball into that hoop right over there, we'll give $20,000 to the Pat Tillman Foundation. Where's the line? Right where you're in that area. What, I got to be sitting? No, stand up. Stand whatever you need to do. Whatever you think. Hey, hey, headset on. We got to talk. In your backswing. Watch out up here. Matt Ryan threw the thing through the ceiling twice like an idiot. Okay, so you're a Marine. You got cool awareness. You got cool awareness, right? You have three shots at it first. Oh. Send this thing down range, Rob. Ball slick. I feel like it's been tampered. How about this, Rob? I feel like it's been tamper with. It has. Probably. Rob. $100,000. The Pat Tillman Foundation. Make it on the first shot. Wow. A lot of pressure. Don't this up, Rob. Oh, my God. You guys, he just looked. Hold on. Rob, lock in. Do you want her to get a read on the shot? Obviously it's not a bad idea. Actually. Rob Wriggles lady okay? Yep. She is ex pro golfer. Jamari did on the playing at. On that Jamar Chase only person to make the first shot. She just called. She just said the bank is open. That's what Jamar Chase did. That's what Jamar Chase did. That's what chiefsaholic said. You should have stayed out there. I would have ali ooped you, baby. Oh, come on. We don't have that in the rule. Made it interesting. All right, here we go. Come on. One time now. One time. One time for the one time. 100. Oh. Oh, good. That's a great looking shot again. Now, I want to let you know. Good shot. A lot better than I expected. And it came off smooth. Yeah, that was incredible. $100,000 in the pat Tillman Foundation. Rob Wriggle, retired Marine, was able to bury this super shot. Oh, Too much. Yeah, too much. That was the. That was the ura. Okay, we'll be completely. Come on. Hey, we'll bring the good pass. Gun pointed at. Hold on. Lady helping. I already caught it. Rob R. And his lady. I don't know. I don't know. We'll count it. You are a good man. You are a good man. We appreciate the. God bless you, ladies. Hey, and the arc in the aardvark, I'm reading here is next. Is that happening or no? No, I'm actually doing. There's a. Other movies coming out. I'm doing a movie about the Olympic curling team. A great comedy. Shut up. Like the one that won Matt Hamilton and them. Yep. Okay, awesome. Doing one with then a movie called Pirate King, another one called Nichols, a couple dramas in there. Let's go. Making a movie starting in April, uh, called the Kringles, uh, where I'm a drunk Santa. It's gonna be a good time, guys. Okay, what's next? What's next? The drunk Santa. The drunk Santa. What's. Congratulations. Thanks, brother. We appreciate you, Rob. Hell yeah. Hell yeah. Appreciate you, ladies and gentlemen. Rob, we appreciate you. That makes me so happy. Thanks, brother. Dude, I like the idea, the innovation of how we. How we beat the game. We appreciate you, Rob. Okay. As we move on from acting, Marine living legend Rob Riggle, you know, radio row is filled with so many different awesome human beings. Obviously him being one of them. Pat Tillman Foundation. Great. Yeah, the best. Just like the more people that learn his story, I think the more people will have faith with the history of humanitarian, like, humanity. Right? NFL player could have gone for a long time. Oh, yeah. September 11th takes place. I want to go serve my country. Gives up NFL career to go serve country. Obviously, the way he ends up passing while he's out there training, it's like the story is just incredible about sacrifice and commitment and buying into cause and yeah, we're very thankful that Rob Riggle is representing him. Speaking of representing, a man who's been representing UFC for a long time, ain't never seen a bad fight. No. And now, ladies and gentlemen, he sits as the UFC lightweight champion, Justin Gaethje. Justin. Hell yeah. Champ. Champ. You. That's it. That's real gold. That's real gold there. That's really. See, that's. That's fake gold. That's real gold right there. Okay, Justin, thank you for joining us. Absolutely. I don't know how long you're waiting back there, but please know that anybody with the cauliflower ears that you have will never be waiting in my world ever again. Cuz I know that means it's on and it's over for me. Okay. I only do it for money though. So one of these is real then we're going to. I respect that. I appreciate that. Congratulations. Yeah, thank you. No problem. Huge fight. So we have a guy, Bailey McComas, who's a massive UFC fan. He's in the back there. All right. And he said the interim championship thing with you, Interesting, because maybe first time around, didn't love it. This time, feel like a certain level of honor, maybe a little bit more appreciation for what it is. Like, how do you think you view this particular run? Yeah, I would say so. I think with age comes wisdom. And you know, I had Khabib. It was during COVID It was such a messed up. I got the first. The first time I won the interim championship, it was in a 20,000 seat arena with zero people in there. Yeah. And so it's just. It was just different. Everything was different about it. But yeah, I do appreciate and respect and I'm very proud of the accomplishment, you know, especially on paper. I'm a champion now in the ufc, which means I get paid as a champion. Hello. So I mean, with that, with this comes that. And so that's what I fight for. We hope you and Dana figured it out with the new Paramount deal. He came on our show after you said what you said, and he said something about not being able to contact you. I hope you guys got that resolved and figured out because you're great for the sport. You're also fighting somebody else that we love. And Patty, obviously he's become entertaining. You talked a little bit about him saying my face is going to look the exact same afterwards. We assume in fight promo, like everything is just kind of what it is. Felt like you actually got felt disrespected by that. Is that true? Yeah, I mean, ultimately it's true. Like, so after these fights, I have to go back to my family. My mother, my father, my brothers, my sisters, my nieces, my nephews. And if my face is different, they are very concerned. And that is what we risk Every single time we step in there, you know, it's not, it's not death, but it could be chronic injury, but it's definitely, you know, serious injury. And for him to imply that he was going to hurt me, of course I have to take that personal, you know, because we are trying to hurt each other. And honestly, you know, in, in that fight we got to get a lot more petty, a lot more, more irritable, a lot shorter of a few use. And so I take everything personal. And you know, as a competitor, you kind of have to use all that fuel to, to fire you to get in there. I, I honestly made the, made the choice not to talk crap to my opponents anymore because I don't want to fire them up. You know, I want them to go in there with their own inspiration. I'm not trying to inspire them anymore, but that's something I learned through time. Okay. Yeah, you gotta have a certain mental capacity to walk in there, gladiator type feel. And I think out of the lake last fight I heard you say something about like, I wish I didn't have to feel the way I feel right now to feel what I just felt or something like that. I don't remember that. I think I was saying I was. I wish all of you could feel what I feel. Yes. And what is that? Can you explain that? Because there's only a few of you in the history of the world that can feel it. It's so hard to put into words because it's like the most intense, the most pressure, the desire to succeed. Speed is like so high. But ultimately you can only control like such few things and it's your effort, your preparation. Most things have already been decided, you know, by the time you're stepping in there. The fear comes from the lack of preparation. You can't lie to yourself, you know. So if you're taking shortcuts through a camp 10 weeks before the fight, every single six days a week, it is no mistakes, all discipline. And knowing that you're going to step into arena and can be exposed in front of millions of people. Yeah, millions of people can see a lot of pressure. Yeah. You don't just like play fighting either. Yeah, it's so, you feel so alive. I mean the, that gate closes, you feel alive coming out. When do you feel the most? When is the. I would say in the locker room. Once the fight starts, it's over. You feel nothing, you hear nothing. There's no, no retention of information. I don't even remember ever being in a fight. You Know, because I go to such an intuitive, intuitive mode, and if you're present, that's called a zone, by the way. That's what people are talking about. Whenever, say, people go into a zone, it's like, well, you prepared so much, you kind of just go into a zone. Yeah, yeah. You just got to trust your body. Trust that your body's going to do what it has to do when the time comes. And what's your. What's your body normally do? Just sitting there and bang? Yeah, my body feels nothing. Completely intuitive. I mean, I absolutely love what I do. I love the. That fact feeling of doing what I do. It's ruined every other part of life. There's no matching that high or matching that low. And so to find it in. In regular life, it's impossible. I could imagine. I think that's actually a real thing that, you know, wrestlers, fighters, I think athletes have to deal with. That's a real thing. Chasing the dragon. I'm like, you know, you're 37 now or something like that. AJ has a question for you. Boss. Yeah. Can you remember your. Your first walk in a real. Like, your first real fight? Not done to be professional, but whatever. Yeah, my first. Locked you in my first amateur fight. Yeah. It was so terrifying. I had no idea what I was doing. I had never been in a street fight, and I was just. I was a huge fan of the sport. Like, this looks like so much fun. How old were you? I was 18. Okay. It was 2. August 2008. So you've never been in a street fight before? No, no. I grew up from a small town as the best wrestler in town, quarterback, strong safety of the team, so nobody ever wanted to fight me. I didn't pick up, pick on people. I have a twin brother. We fought a lot. I have a twin brother. We fought a lot, but outside, obviously. Yeah, we don't. Yeah, I mean, most of the time I won. Well, yeah, I never. I never was. Never in a street fight. Never got punched, never threw a punch. And then after my fifth amateur fight, I almost got knocked down. I was like, I gotta figure out what I'm doing here. And so I found the coach. What is the most important part for you? Obviously, toughness. Got to be able to do that, got to be able to throw bombs. Wrestling, obviously, a massive piece, because. Because where? I don't. Yeah, Dagestan. Dagestan. Kind of a. Kind of a takeover at UFC there for a bit, and it became, like, very much ground. Hey, we're going to kind of take you into a deep end. How do you feel about, like, the evolution of where the sport is? Yeah, I mean, it's so crazy. I mean, everybody brings such a different style to the sport, you know, and I'm capable to fight different styles of fights. Like, I just fought Patty in a very forward, you know, aggressive kind of throw technique, a little bit out the window and really judge distance and control distance more than I did Rafael Fazeev or Michael Chandler, where I kind of fought a more methodical fight, you know. And so every single one of these opponents brings something different, and you have to fight different styles. What do you think of Patty? Because I think a lot of people, outsiders, are hoping he'd become big star because obviously he was dancing in the ring before. That was crazy. No, I was in the back. I was like, keep wasting energy. No, the. The biggest factor is cardio. You know, it's all cardio. It's a battle of. Most of these are a battle. They're all battle of attrition. Someone usually gives up. It's non. You can't see it. You can feel it, though. Whenever somebody's done, you can feel it. You can. You can. How good of a feeling? Well, what you feel first is so right away in the first, you know, mine minute, you understand if you can take their shots or not take their shots. And then from that, from that, you need to make adjustments, you know, either. Like, with Patty, I was like, I can take these shots all night. I'm going to put myself into the range of, you know, punching range, and I'm going to just throw with him, you know, keep him on his back foot. And he definitely can't create enough force to hurt me if he's not moving forward. And so, you know, I. I love. He's very crafty, very tricky, very funky. He throws a lot of volume. And he's going to give people issues if you underestimate him at all because he's so crafty in his strikes. He looks funky. It looks weird and goofy, but it's very, very crafty. And so his uppercuts were very, very nice. He controls range well. He just makes mistakes. And at this, you know, in this sport, I said it before the fight, you cannot make mistakes. I knew he was going to come out so aggressive. He wants to win so bad. And that's nothing that will ever help you be successful in this sport. You just have to be content with the situation. For me, it's be content with the worst possible outcome and then go out there and perform. Let the fight come to you is what you're saying. Yeah, yeah, let the fight. I mean, you have to create the fight again. You're controlling distance, controlling range, creating angles. There's so much that's going on that you just. That we did. Nobody that doesn't do it knows. Yeah, it's super happening. That's just like football. I think that's why we're so, so, like, intrigued whenever we have you on, because we are trying to see the cerebral side. Like, what are you. Because I think Street Jesus, he said something about, like, when I'm looking at somebody, I'm seeing just, like, points on where I could potentially get him. Like, at any given moment. Are you, like, calculating? And I guess you black out in there, so you don't know, but you're training your body to calculate. Right? That's why this slip. You really just try to control their feet, you know, so you could think of it. Think of yourself as like a DJ or a computer composer. You get to. You. You get to have control of the beat, but you could. You get to change the song at any given moment. You're constantly trying to catch them in between beats, you know, because anytime you could brace for something and see it, you can. You could take it. It's the moments where you catch them in half beats, where you can knock them out. And so you're constantly trying to surprise them. You're trying to set them up, trying to surprise them, trying to think them. That you're going this way and you're really, you know, going here. The whole war, brother. Yeah, yeah, yeah. There's. There's so much going on in there. Yeah. You're damn good at it all. Almost as good as on the golf course. This is. This is why when you see the ears, just know. Yes. Espn. They don't. Who. These dudes playing a different game. Yeah, everyone. Everyone can fight. I mean, that's why this sport is so relatable to the. To the common person. But nobody can fight for more than 30 seconds. Like, that's what people don't take into. They don't think about that part. How. How exhausting it is. Yeah, no, we do think about it. You guys go. Football plays five seconds at a time. We're five minutes at a time. Yeah. There's no reason. Listen, we grew up. I grew up in a high in Pittsburgh. There's high school wrestling. So we know what you psychos are doing. Yeah, we know the garbage bags. And I'm going home after my practice. And you guys are what Trotting your asses home on the side lot. We understand that. Nasty stinks. Have you seen the. What is that? Freestyle American wrestling or. I have, yeah. Yeah, Raf. Yeah. Yeah, it looks cool. They keep asking me, but I told them I don't wrestle no more. No, you fight. If I can punch him or kick him, then. Then count me in. Connor has a question for you. Yeah, Justin, what about fighting for the BMF title? Like, it feels like you mentioned right away, you know, now you're getting paid like a champion. Like, that's what you were, you know, hoping for, like, with the BMF title. Especially at the end when you're talking about technique. Like, I think it was you and Holloway just said, no technique. We're just gonna throw. I mean. Yeah. Biggest bombs possible. Yeah. I mean, I fought a bad fight, that fight, and I was, you know, I was in a position where I was going to lose. And once he granted me that opportunity to. To go out, like I needed to go out or to. To knock him out to win, the competitor I am, I'm never going to turn that opportunity down. Like, that's. That's the only reason I showed up is for the chance to win. You know, I was in a bad position. I put myself there, and. And I. And I understood that I was losing and I was going to lose. And so with that opportunity, I had no choice. I would do it 100 times over. And I'm glad I lost like that. That would have been. That was a. It's a much better, you know, story for my legacy to lose like that. You're bangers. To let one more second go and I just lose a decision. You know, me getting knocked out and then, you know, coming back, having two wins in a row makes those two wins that much more inspiring, and it makes what I'm going to do the. At the end of my career that much more inspiring. And that's ultimately why I'm here. Yeah. But whenever they said, like, hey, Justin Gaethje would like to come the show, we have Justin Gaethje. Do you want him on the show? Everybody's immediate thought is, that guy only is electrifying. That is literally how we all view you. So that we are very thankful that that is. I've been a huge fan of this sport, and nobody is as consistent or as exciting as me. What's next? Ilia Topuria on the White House. Has to be. Has to be no other option. Hell, yeah. Let's go. Walking out of the Oval Office into the cage wearing the flag, like I can't think of any. I've been speaking into existence since I fought Viziva last year. I was like, I'm gonna fight. I thought it would be tapuria in January and then I would fight and defend my belt on the White House card in June. And you know, things change up. Can't control everything. Ilia takes a step back because the personal issue issues. I still get to fight for interim championship, which makes me a champion on paper, which gives me elite toria on the White House in June. Hey, why not? Makes sense to us. Yes. And that fight would want it fireworks, entertaining, I think. I think we're gonna main event it. I think we'll be the main event. Boom. Let's go. Once in a lifetime. I'm totally guessing throwing against the wall right now. Universal. I mean, what else? Yeah. Why they had us again. They had us. They had me, specifically me above Amanda and Kayla and those. That's a. That's the biggest fight in women's, like women's mma and they had me above them. So I can't imagine. You know what I think will probably happen? You know, I think will probably happen. We'll see it. I think there'll be co headline. You'll be one of them. So that they can say like the man who's never had a bad fight, definitely here. So that's a draw and then they put whatever else on there. So I think co main event. I think for sure co main. Who's main? I don't know. I think, I think it'll be a huge. I think it'll be big name, name thing. McGregor's been tossed around. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Yeah. I know it's past the time, but name wise, I think that is if it's McGregor, then McGregor's gonna fight me and we'll be main event. Okay. Never had a bad fight. Gotta be a title fight. And yeah, would have to be okay. Yeah, it would be if. If idiot didn't come back, they would, you know, strip him. I'd become the undisputed. And then McGregor gets to fight whoever he wants. So I guess that would be an option. When would you start training for that? Are you always trying to training? I've, I've taken it. You know, I'm a little bit beat up. After the last fight, I was really sore, my knees a little sore. I'm 37 years old now, so I take. So I train for 10 weeks for a fight, but in between I try to maintain and just Eat healthy. And. And so last week I ate like. Sure. All right. What you have. What? What is it? Sugar. Any kind of sugar. Chocolate. More syrup. Chocolate. Oh, we like pancakes or waffles. I'll go get a. A box of cereal. Eat the whole thing. Fruity Pebbles. Which one? No, I got Cinnamon toast crunch. Oh, ctc. Yeah, that's good. That's hard to beat. And then I got Lucky Charms. Okay. Oh, yeah. Which marshmallows? The old school traditional one or the new Traditional. And I definitely mix. I take out a lot of the r. I make it marshmallow heavy. They have those, though. They have. No, I just do it by hand. Oh. Cuz you're a chef. While you're in between fight camps, might I suggest. Okay. And obviously you know better than me. You're a champ. Multiple time. There's Oculus boxing in there. You know, I put on virtual reality and I'll tell you what you can. That'd be like when I played golf. You play Oculus golf and you just get worse. No, it makes you worse. I'm Oculus champion. What do you mean? It works? Yeah, but when you go on the course, you just. It's not the same swing. You're a great golfer. How are you a great golfer? Cover. I'm a 6.5 handicap. Wow. As a wrestler? Yeah. As a fighter. I love that. When I. When I got knocked out by Max Holloway 180 days straight, I golfed, I was like, no one's touching my head for the next six months. So I'm gonna golf. How about this? Every day. Anybody with these ears does not play basketball. Yeah. And I'm gonna make it. Okay. You want? If we're raising money for charity, then I'm absolutely going to make it. Okay. All right, let's do this. Yes. Do you think you're the best fighter golfer? It's between me and Dustin Jacobe. He's like a 6.3 handicap. Damn. Yeah, we. We live close to each other, so we play a lot. Hey, I don't think those ears are good for golf. Do you golf? They're not. No, I'm not. That's what I mean. These ears are perfect for golf. Cuz when you suck, you just start talking and they get scared and then they get in their own head. It's not bad. Your head game is actually. Oh, is that right? Yeah, that's some. That's good, right? That's good. That's good. Yeah. Yeah, it is good. Hold on. Oh, he's going to make it. Okay. We won't count it. Cuz you're a wrestler. Yeah. That was practice. Yeah. Are those betting lines on your shirts by the way too? Yes. That's awesome. This is my company. Press. I love that. Starting this. Yeah. In its infancy. What is it? What are we doing? Press. It's because I'm always pressing on the golf course. Sometimes I find myself down. Gotta press. Yeah. So the hat. Always in it with press. Yeah. Always in it. Can I buy that shirt? Give a man a chance to win his money back. First thing my dad taught me. Unfortunately. Hey, you just arm barred the headset. Got that thing. Yeah, he twisted it. Okay. First attempt. $20,000 to a charity of your choosing if you're able to make it. But since you are cauliflower your d. I feel like this should be a 50,000. Oh, yeah. Why not? I think so. Just because what you would be doing is defying all human. No way. This would be against all physics. Yeah. The fact you were on the mat and your ears were getting bopped so much. Very rarely are you able to get to the wood and maybe practice a shot or two. But right now with a state fair ball with this basketball hoop. $50,000 will get. I like pressure. I like pressure. This is for charity. Yeah, it is. Oh, yeah. Ready? Oh. Combos in. Give me a break. Would have been good if it would have went okay. Here we go. I'll tell you what. Much better shooter than most wrestlers I know. Yes. Much better. $50,000 to a charity of your choosing. Just like. Oh, get the hell out of here. It's getting worse. Another one. It's getting worse. It's almost like you did the oculus there. Got $50,000. Oh, that was it. Damn. Grim. Good hands. Sorry. You're wrestling. Nobody expected it. All right, all right. Hey, you want. Don't you? You? Yeah. Feels like you do. That was unbelievable. Ladies and gentlemen. Your champion and potential headliner for the White House UFC spectacle. That's. See that Oculus. You saw that? Yeah. I'm have to try it out. I'm pretty pumped up about that. And also maybe some vitamins right now. Not supposed to be that quick. You know, with the. You're on point. But I want to let you know that is something I always remember. I got a chance to stand right across from you. Justin. Trying to get do face off. I appreciate. Yeah, yeah. Put yours up. There it is. Stop smiling a little bit. Respect. You're the best. Ladies and gentlemen. Hey, it you guys. Sir. Your title. You earn congratul. Hey, you're the champ. Stop saying it's on paper. Go get a champ. Not those belts. Champ. Hey, he's. He's taller, right, than I. Yeah, yeah, definitely. That's been the turn right there. I mean, it was. Better athlete, too. Yeah, that wasn't bad at all. Play quarterback in safety also. Really good golfer. Yeah, good golfer. Every wrestler I know is basketball player. All hockey players, too. Well, they usually shot. Put it like, if he's playing quarterback, he can shoot a basket. Joining us now is a guy who's going to be pretty good, I think, at this. He became the head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars so late in the process that we didn't think he was going to be able to hire a staff. The Jacksonville Jaguars go from bad to not even being able to have a coaching staff. That's what we thought. Instead, what a man did is reinvigorate an entire city, a region, a team, a franchise, alongside a man who's 27 years old. Old. Named Stoner, the head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars. Liam co. Is it all louis v. Hell. Jesus. Holy. The head coach. It. Hey. Hey. We got the dawn on, too. I see him over there. Yeah, I see the. Wow. I'm just trying to get like you, bro. I'm just trying to get like you. I'm trying to get like you. I think you're all right. I think you're already there. Unbelievable entrance. Yeah. Yeah. All right. That, ladies and gentlemen. That's okay. Tell me about it. We got a chance to catch up with you multiple times here throughout the entire process of you becoming the head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars. Please tell me about the season. I feel like you guys had a good one. I feel like you're finding your culture. You found your culture maybe only propelling you into next year. How do you kind of sit as super bowl week rolls on? Look, we're all pissed. 31 teams are pissed at the result, right? They are, at the end of the day. But I do believe that the process was successful. The process. Because we talk so much about the process. Process, process over results. Process drives results. And look it, you know, we fell short of the ultimate goal of winning a Super Bowl. But very proud of the group. Extremely proud to get our coaching staff back after year one and to do it with James, with Stoner and Tony, man, those guys are the best. Really proud of this group. Yeah, you should be very. And you talking about there's the culture works or whatever proof in the pudding, right? And not that the boys ever didn't buy in because they clearly did. We watched him play all year. It felt like everybody bought into your culture quickly. Much easier going into another year. Right. Well, Trevor, first offseason healthy in a long time. Man, it is. So to have that continuity with the ability to have your offensive coordinator back, your pass game coordinator back, your quarterback coach back, I mean, that's huge. I mean, he literally didn't throw last year, all spring until, I don't know, June or whatever it was. So you're working on the lower half, which was awesome. You're working on the upper half, which was awesome. But we. We got to do that without seeing the result of a completion or not. It's like, all right, dude, let's just get your footwork right. The head, the. The mind, the progressions. Now to be able to put it all together this spring, I think it'll be fun. It's crazy. You guys didn't have any timing training there for. For a long time, and it showed. Yeah, I think so. And. But then you guys got better and better as you continue to work, and I guess that makes a lot more sense. AJ Has a question for you, Coach. Yeah. You mentioned a quarterback with Trevor. Like, I guess what. How did you see him grow this season? Because I think it. It seems like he took a step, like, he took a step in the right direction, like, to another tier at the quarterback position. Like, what have you seen, you know, like, so much of the play in this position, Timing, circumstances and the operation, like, just getting the operation down. Motions, shift cans, audibles, alerts, like, that's a lot. Before you even go and say, did I complete the ball or not? And so I think once that calmed down, like, that slowed down for him. He started using his legs that now makes the defense defend every blade of grab grass, right? Every blade of grass, both horizontally and vertically. So he took it. The ownership, the leadership, you started to see it come out of him, and now, okay, Jacoby Myers comes. Our first great trade, by the way. With Jacoby, we were a better team. The first practice Jacoby came in, our pass game looked completely different. The whole team was like, what? I mean, for real. It just changed because it allowed BT to do what he does well. Well, Parker to do what he does well. Now Brent Strange does what he does well. And Trevor had a lot of trust and respect in him. Okay, tell me about Trevor. You talked about him running, getting a little bit more comfortable. He's a stallion. I think people forget about that. I love that word, stallion. He is. He is. No, dude, he is. He's even got the mane, you know, the whole thing. He literally is a stallion. When do you realize that and how do you balance? Because I think, like the Patriots right now, yeah, Drake may also stallion, but they are trying to manage. How much do we. You have to do that with Trevor, I think, going forward. Right? You do. I mean, I watched Trevor play live as a freshman in high school. I was recruiting another dude. I was at this high school game, Trevor's ball and running, doing everything that he does now. And you're like, okay. That's the balance, though, of playing, you know, this position as a franchise quarterback in this league. But I think you guys know, like, your teammates respect when you go and do that, like they do. You go out and put that on tape and lower your shoulder a few times and play the game the way he was playing. At the end of the year, the guys will follow. They'll follow that lead. And super talented dude. Really excited about moving forward. Great hair. I mean, anybody has a question for you, coach? Yeah. You've done a great job offensively and working with quarterbacks throughout your career, but now you had your first opportunity, first year, now under your belt as a head coach. We always talk. We just talked about the trust and respect. You need that for your head coach and the guy that can command the room. We always say, how was that for your first team meeting, addressing the team? And then when, at what point during the season did you feel, I guess, fully comfortable, you know, in your skin, in that new role? Dude, that's. That is exactly the hardest thing to kind of figure out is like, because I was with Sean, I'm in Sean, I'm in la for all those years. You were Sean, you were with Kevin o'. Connell, you were Zach Taylor. You were so many good football coaches. And you want to take something from everybody. Right. Like you do, but you also got to be yourself. Yep. And I think that's the thing that I. I learned the most, obviously, throughout this whole process. You're. You're sitting there and you're like, all right, dude, if those players respect me as who I am, like, the rest will come. And look, they get criticized in the media all the time. And so, like, hey, if they see their coach kind of doing it and getting it and not flinching, not blinking, hey, we're in this thing together. They'll play harder. They will. And then the Houston debacle was a good thing. Thing for us. Like, that's when things change for us. We lost. We were 20 point lead, blew it fourth quarter. Oh, yeah, I do remember Dougie Mills on crazy. You got Doug Mills. That's happened. Mills killed us. He's a dog. Two minute drill, fourth quarter, lose the game, right? We're sitting there like, damn. I mean, that was the quietest locker room I've ever been a part of post game. But that allowed us to go have some real open, honest conversations as a team with coaches, with players, with the staff, and with our whole team. That's when things change. To answer your question is like, all right, guys like that, that's not good enough at all. We can't be spectators for that last quarter. We got to go play 60 minutes and see what happens. Feels like everything you're doing now is like precedent for what the future is. Obviously, first year coaches, you do that. Yeah. In Rabel, first year In New England, McDonald's, second year in Seattle, title. Ben Johnson, first year in Chicago. It's like you are being used as a reference point for other places. Yeah. Can you just talk about how easy it is just to turn to you? Can you please do it? Because your name gets meant like, oh, yeah, look what Liam did down In Jacksonville, everybody. 10 coaches, 10. There was 10 coaching openings this year, okay? Because everybody sees what you did in Jacksonville. It's your fault. Yeah. Legit. You fired Tank, coach. Yeah. Way to go, bro. Yeah. The coaches union's gonna love you, Liam. No, no, look, it's. It's a crazy dynamic. We know that. This is truly what have you done lately, right? Like, you either win now or you don't. Probably don't have much time. I mean, that's just the reality. It's where this thing goes. And you're trusted to be able to make some of those decisions. And I think Rabes is cool as hell. I saw at the owner's meetings down at the breakers this spring, man, he's walking around, dude. Like, he just gets it. You can tell he's a dude. Dude, he's a guy. He came and worked out Will Levis when he was in Tennessee, when I was at Kentucky. So I got to have some real conversations with him then. And you could tell, man, he's. He's a real one. He's what those guys want to. Want to follow. Those guys want to be around. And he's a damn good football coach. Will Levis was eating mayonnaise at that time. I think that's what he was. Yeah, I think that's when we were introduced to him. Yeah. Con man has a question for you. Yeah, Liam, something you can't really ask other coaches about. About his coaching. A guy like Travis Hunter. Yeah. And he had his best game in London against the Rams. And then. Yeah. During practice. Yeah. Gets hurt. Has there been more conversations about that? Like Parker, Washington, Jacoby, Brian Thomas. You kind of have an unbelievable receiving core. Do we just put this guy on defense or whatever? But also you're an offensive coach, so do you use in the squad? That's a great question because I do think the best thing that could have happened was like, all right, not that he got hurt, but we got hurt and we still. We were able to have success. Right. So now we get the privilege of going throughout this. He's still rehabbing, going through a whole process of rehab, getting back. But now we can go say, okay, where is this going to truly help us go take the next step? Like, what's going to actually help us get over the hump from time allotment for him? Practice schedule, playing on Sundays. What's the best for our team and for the Jacksonville Jaguars to go in on Sunday. And that's what it allows for us to do is because we do have some other pieces. We have some guys that can go make plays on Sundays, and that's what it's all about. So we need the help for sure. I mean, in terms of the playmaking, the corner position, we'll use him. He's going to get used. It's just a matter of what is that dynamic? Okay, so what. How is. Yeah. Did you figure anything out? I mean, dude, because we thought you were. We were watching you and you were doing an experiment on something that we have never had before. But Stoner cut a promo. Yeah. Knowing that this is something that we've never really seen before. So what did you learn through the experiment? Do we think he's going to be able to handle, like. Because that's been a big question. Mentally, physically, can you handle both? I think he's absolutely going to be able to. I do. I mean, the guy just want to know. He has the craziest conditioning of any athlete I've ever been around like that. He doesn't get tired, he doesn't sweat. It's. It's kind of crazy. But, you know, he's obviously been in altitude, you know, but he. He works his tail off. He loves football. Football, fishing. I mean, that's what he does. So as he continues to grow as. And this was a minor setback for sure. Right. But for a major comeback, that's what it has to be. That's his Mindset. Are you counting reps in practice? Do we figure that out? Do you think you got to the point where you, like, figured out how much you should do? I think we were getting there. I think we were getting there. And then he gets, you know, he has 100, 100 yards against the Rams, gets hurt, forced us to go. Go kind of make some other changes. Yeah. Make some other decisions. And it was a blessing at the end of the day for the way it played out in some ways. But look, we'll look through that. I do think that if you just said, all right, man, go play football without much coaching. I mean, corner. He just looks. He just looks. The part is exactly what he is. And then. But also when you get the ball in his hands, I mean, he can make people miss, which I can't coach, you know, so it's still a fine line. It's still something we're working, working through. Yeah. I'm excited to watch it. I hope it's able to pan out. I hope something historic happens. And he certainly could do it. Ty has a question for you. Yeah, Coach. You mentioned at the start how you were able to retain your coordinators. Yeah. And I assume, like, part of that is kind of, hey, hats off to me. I was able to put together a great staff, but when nobody thought you're gonna be able to put together. Exactly. But both of those guys were two of the hottest names in this cycle. And maybe you thought you were gonna lose them. Like, is there part of that where it's like, well, you know, it's not nice we get to run it back with these guys, but there's a good chance that I'm gonna have to replace both of these guys next year. Yeah. That is the mindset. I mean, you want people to thrive like you. When you have success, you want everybody to eat. You do. Like, you want guys to continue to grow the game, grow their careers and professions and be able to move forward. Like, it's no different with players. You want them all to get the next. Next extension, that next contract. Go get paid. And those two deserved it. They earned it. I mean, Campy. To take that defense from last in the league and turnovers to second. Ultimate. The ultimate. Yeah. We need to get him the hell out of the AFC show. Yeah, dude, he's a stud. But so is Lou. Okay, he is. But to get those two back, Grant. I mean, Grant's the type of guy. Guys, it's. We play a game on Sunday, one o' clock game. You're done by what four or five, five o'. Clock. He's in the office until 11 o' clock that night. Like working on the next opponent. You know, 30 years old, sing, you know, out there, like could be going out, you know, he's loves ball. So it's the way it goes in. Heath Farwell, special teams coordinators at G. Yeah, it feels like you have a good culture down there. Congratulations on getting that instituted so quickly. The Louis Vuitton fit is awesome. I mean, God clearly got wife. I don't style myself. I don't style myself. And the shoes. Appreciate it. I remember you wearing some Ferragamo. I believe in the video. Or maybe Louie. I forget what it was. They red the loafers whenever you got to the blue ones. When he got to Jacksonville. Correct. Yeah, yeah, we know. We see it. Cuz it's always so much people would not, you know, have. You're like me on a. On day to day. I wear a uniform like I. I wear a uniform of the same every day. I like it. The black on black. You can't Steve Jobs. It's awesome. Every day. You don't have to think about it. Yeah. At all. It's awesome. Yeah. I wear the same thing. People say I'm not fashionable, but it's like. I mean, I wear the same day every day. Just says it all though, man. You just put that out. It is good. Yeah. You know, every once in a while you see a Toyota Camry Lee Camry leave your bank account. Yeah. And then all of a sudden it's like, oh, my wife just got me a gift. You know, we kind of keep it moving. It's a nice little surprise. They are awesome. I'm not a big watch person. I don't know what they are, but I do think this one's good. And I. I think that one is good as well. It is. Yeah. I was a Apple watch guy before. I mean I didn't even wear watches and they. I think a lot of people tell us that we're new money people. That's why we feel this way. Yeah. That is why what people say. It's easy to look say that that guy came from nothing. Look at him. His first time with money right there. My parents were teachers. Dude, that bingo. Yeah. Me. Yep. So hey, we should be proud of what we did here. Yeah. Could send Bob one maybe. Like welcome to the. See, that's the beauty. You're going to eat these. Is that what you said to Salah? Yes, yes. No, we are. Dude. It is awesome that he's I mean, what a cool move by Tennessee. Seriously. I mean, just to get another quality defensive head coach in this league that gets defense to run around that way. I mean, it's fun for us. I mean, you want to play the best, you want to come. And that's no different for coaches. There's no difference. You want to beat your peers, you want to be better than everybody. Especially when you beat the people you hate. Yeah, exactly. Ben Johnson. Matt La Flor. That's awesome. We need coach too. You started. You got a great one too. Entertainment coaches, Rob. Entertainment. Spinning his face. Said you got spinning his face now we could get there. I don't know if you're in a gatey back there. He's got some ideas. Yeah, yeah. Let's go. Hey, can you shoot? You're an athlete, obviously. Former quarterback in college. Yeah. From here. That area where we going? That hoop? Yeah. Actually, you can shoot it, I guess, at that tv, if you will. That tv. Probably the hell. I mean, what about the count? Is it not going to hit? I mean, can I just. You tell me, coach. You got to keep it low. Somebody. A lot of people have made it from there into the soup. If you make it on the first try, we'll donate 20,000 to a charity of your choosing. Let's do it. If you make it on the second or third. Yeah. It's state fair ball. Liam Con, head coach of the Jags. Oh, man, the Louis V F. This guy. Never doubt. Come on, Jamar. Eat your heart out, son. No banking. Yes. I don't know if Salah knows. Wow. I don't know if Coach Salah knows. That's AMC south football right there. Unbelievable. Head coach of Jacksonville, Jack. Appreciate it. Incredible shot. Wow. Clutch too. Never felt the ball. Wow. This ball sucks. Splash average. Like, you know that like 15 point a game guy in high school. I wasn't. I was like that good. Like 12 to 15. Impressive. That's good. How about you were doing this too, I bet, huh? Zone defense. Okay. Zone. Zone. 2, 3, zone. Lot of effort. Love it. Trapping the corner. No. Yeah, yeah. We used to watch what was his name? Not who played for Shashevsky. The. The. The point guard for Duke all those years. He bops the wood. Yeah, he's. He's a wood bopper. You bop wood too? Yeah. You're a big wood. All day. All day. Me to run around with anybody else? No, we're bopping wood right here. And he gets a lot of linebackers. Suck up, Suck up. All. Boom. Ladies and gentlemen, head coach, he's actually J L coach. Yeah. That was an incredible shot. Beautiful shot. Unbelievable. So casual. Look at the guy. Just smart, smooth criminal. Smooth criminal is right. What a forward thinker that was. Wow. Good luck. Ladies and gentlemen, I believe joining us live at the podium right now is actual royalty, maybe the greatest pickleball player on earth. What? Anna Lee Waters. Anna, how are you doing? Anna? Anna. Okay, Anna, hold on. Anna, I, I need to. I'm just now learning of you. You're the best pickleball player on earth right now. Is that accurate? That is correct. Okay, how'd you get into this? Because we obviously just got introduced to pickleball just a few years ago. The whole world has. Have you been playing your whole life or did you just. I've been playing since 2017. So before it was like the cool thing to do. Where, where are you from? How'd you get into. Were you a tennis player that then started playing? I was. I live in South Florida and I evacuated a hurricane actually in 2017. And my grandfather played pickleball. Typical stereotype. And he taught me how to play and here I am now. Okay, so we're working the kitchen, obviously with the dinks and the dumps. How's this? Pretty, pretty good. Okay. We got into it. Yeah, we got into it. We got into it. Did you play? I used to. I. I used to retired. Yeah, I retired. Are we going to have to play right now? Uhoh. Can we play? How do we play right now? How would we do that? Just right. I have paddles, AQ's rated. Do you have the ball? I have the ball in my pocket. I'm always ready. Okay, so waiting over the. Over the desk. Over the desk, yeah. Anna is your name? Yeah. That's probably what you have to do. Yeah, just come on over the desk there. So you're on this. Just go right there. Okay. And I'm. I'm doing top spin on this thing. Yeah, you guys just volume or whatever. Listen. Score. Him, lefty. Great. Touch both. He's making her work. Look at this. Perfect. Perfect amount. Okay, so when's the. Can you get to. We got a microphone. We got a microphone. We got a microphone right here. Yeah, I think it's on. Is the handheld on? Can you hear me? Yes. When's the next tournament? When are we winning? What's next? Next week, Cape Coral, Florida. Okay. How do we watch on pickleball tv? Okay. Yeah. On Amazon Prime. I believe you have a Nike deal and everything, right? What I'm wearing now, that's okay. Swoosh yes. Okay. So here you're promoting pickle ball as a whole. I am. Pickleball. Yep. Trying to grow the sport. I think it's a great sport. It's growing. It is. You guys like it? I love it. Retired. Yeah, I'm retired as well. You got a mean backhand. Did somebody retire you from pickleball or. No, no, we. A couple years ago at the super bowl, we played pickleball for about 12 hours a day and. And you felt the. Yeah, well, you know. You guys know it's a real sport then. If you're feeling some. Oh, yeah, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Is it a sport that is. Is there a lot of really good players, like, you kill everybody, or is it, like, good competition? No, there's good company. I win a lot of. Obviously. But there is good competition. It's getting better, too. It's growing in Asia. It's getting huge. Oh, I bet. We need you to go win over there. I know. I'm going over there later this year. Yeah, we need you to win, too. We need. Okay. We need you to do that, too. Yeah. We appreciate you. Congratulations, Anna. Thank you for the paddle. Yes, of course. I've got paddles for you guys. Touch paddles. Thank you so much. Thank you. Hell, yeah. Thank you very much. Yeah, you're right. Right, Anna? Thank you. Thank you. This might get me back, right? I haven't. I. Thank you, Anna. That's great volley. I haven't. I haven't done that. Taking a piss for years or whatever. That was good. She was really good, too. I. You know. Well, you. Yeah, you're making it work. I was trying. She thought you guys were just going to jerk around and just do number one in the world. How often do you get a chance to play against number one? You made it work. Made it work a little bit. Yeah, Absolutely. And by the way, no doubter. Yeah. She shut up. And then she said, let me just put one right at his belt. Bang. All right, this is over. Thanks. Fun Game Joining us now. Fun game. Greatest of all time, maybe, man, who obviously out of Florida State, is one of the greatest players in the history of college football. Then when he gets to the NFL, he's the most electrifying man to ever speak. Ladies and gentlemen, front of the program, we are so thankful he's here for Carlos Carl's junior, James Woodson. Oh, thank you. J. Oh, man. Yes. How are you? Yes. You missed it. I could go for a coral. Yeah. This is what it's all about. This is radio. This Is why you come here. You look, guys. You bring some. That's why we're here. You bring some. Carl's Jr. That's why you lift all them weights. Y like it. Kill somebody for a Carl Jr burger. Hold on. We're about to talk about it. Yeah. This is awesome. This is our honor. Let's go. James reunited and it feels so good. Come on, man. Let's talk about things. Feeling good. You know, I eat a Carlos Jr burger. I. I feel like I'm on top of the world. Yes. Good news. James has here to spread. I believe Monday after the super bowl, we got some big happening with Carl's Jr. Is that not accurate? After the big game, you know, super bowl game. I just asked you guys, were you guys hungover? I know y' all don't drink on this, but at the end of the day, big games, big opportunities, and a lot of regrets, right? A lot of people that miss our things. So I grabbed me a nice hangover burger. Sure. And it replenishes me. What is it about the succulent meat of Carl's Jr. That really gets you, man? I like the way you said that. I think. I think the juice, man. And right now, my mouth is watering as I speak about it, about the succulent. Because that succulent juice that just drips splurging out of that car. Is that that drip, drip. Got a swallow. Not just drip. It's almost like drip, drip. Because you know how much is coming from Carl's Jr. It's more of a drip drip. It's very, very specific, intentional drip. And it's right after the bite. But the most important thing is February 9th. All right? The. The next biggest day after the biggest event in the world. To me, you get a free burger by signing up on my rewards app or calls Junior. Yeah, Please, please. It's on me. Please. It's free. That's very nice. Hey, thank you, Jam. Thank you, Jamie. Welcome, guy. You're a good man. You're a star. Okay? You guys are stars. Okay. Tell me about football this year. We want you to be a starting quarterback. We want you playing every primetime game. We've actually said that a couple different times. Either you or Carson Wentz need to be on a a team that is debuting in a new country. We would like you to be a starting quarterback for it. How was this last season for you? Your thoughts on kind of the year as backup, then we play a little bit, then you kind of continue in that world. How have you taken ownership of that and how do you feel right now? Well, this season was very fun to be in the market of New New York City and New Jersey, man. Just been around those fans. They are the greatest city in the world. The greatest city in the world. The greatest city in the world, I can say. But I believe this season, man, it was so. I would say it wasn't the season that we wanted it to be and it was all because of finish. Right. And I'm grateful that we got coach Harbaugh. Coach John Harbaugh is about to do his thing. I'm happy that we got Matt Nagy as officer coordinator, work with this young quarterback that we got. That was one exciting thing that we saw offensively that we got a nice young quarterback, but we got to finish. And I'm happy and grateful that we have the possibility of finishing stronger up on our new regime with coach Harbaugh. Tell me about Jackson Dart a little bit. Obviously he's super cool, isn't he? Super cool, Swaggy. He's a vibe man. One of the coolest, most laid back competitors that you see. Yeah, he's sweet, smooth. He looks good. He knows he looks good. He's confident, but he's a competitor. He's fearless, man. He's a warrior out there on the field. A lot of people try to tell him, hey, man, stop getting hit so much. But let me tell you something. Well, just diving head first. But the reason why is because he had. We got another crazy rookie in Cam Scatbo now. He helped take the licks off Jackson, right? Who? You said four. Four what? Limitations. Tell you something. That, that cam scato, that's my 44 bulldog, my mother pet. I'm trying to tell you like straight like that, pointed at somebody. Tell the fetch. And it does feel like he would just kind of go. He would man. He's a go getter just like Jackson, man. And I think their, their personalities to see young players coming into this, this league hungry, not, not hungover off their nil money. But if they were. But hungry. If they were, I. I would give them a call. Junior hangover bugger. Absolutely. They're not. They're still excited and bright eyed and bushy tailed about what the future is. They are, but. And they also want to eat more W's, right? Like you coming from college, man, you get into the NFL, yeah, it's fun. Yeah. You get, you get to live your dream. But, but winning, you know this winning is where it's at. And when you got a great young quarterback. I believe our defense is good, man. We got some great stars. We got a defensive line. I believe our DBs are good, man. We got to get Cordell flop back, man. Man, Paulson Adibo. He was playing banged up a little bit. I think we got a good core. We just are required to finish in the fourth quarter and win some football games. I love where your mind's at. And Bruce Brown's in the back. He's a New York Giants fan. I can hear him just kind of succulently. Kind of. Yeah, there he is. There he is right there. He's excited as well. He thinks the Giants have, you know, very bright future. It sounds like you feel the exact same way. AJ has a question for you. Jamis. Yeah. We've seen in the past you've had some very unique, unique workouts in the off season. Maybe some of your quarterback workouts. I'm curious for this off season, what's your plans? What do you have been doing? Is there anything you're adding into your repertoire in terms of my just consistency. Doing more position specific type things. Because one thing I know about me is God has blessed me with an incredible arm rocket for a reason. Right. So just staying technique sound and focusing on the little things, just building on those things like it's the, the 10,000 hour rule, right. I've been doing this for a long time out. You got to tune up those things. I'm actually going to spend some time, some great quality time with Jackson out there, working out with him out in LA and I think one thing about being a older quarterback, working with a young quarterback, you get that hunger again. You see the young guy moving around. You want to move around like that. And then you compete like, you compete. Keep that competitive nature. And my trainer, Otis Leverett will be out there with me. So you probably see some viral movements, some viral clips, man. Hell, yeah. We gotta, like, look at this game. Look how this game is played, right. Like at the quarterback position, you have to extend plays. Right. You have to be able to break tackles when it's called for. Right. And you got to be able to sit in the pocket and make those throws. Yeah. So you've always been blessed with this here. Yeah, yeah. Everything you could throw everything. You think, how are you at, like, baseball? You throw baseball? Baseball, yes. Oh, yeah. What else? Rocks. You throw rocks? He was big time. Baseball. Yes. I actually started on the baseball field before I did football. Oh, yeah. I remember you in the hat, the whole. Yeah, I remember that. What were you. What position? Pitcher. I was outfield. I was outfield and I was a closer. Yeah. Did you see the curveball? Can you. I. I could see everything. I could see everything. No, actually, at the time, you actually. You could not. No, I actually wore contacts in baseball. Have to. And then said it. I'm the quarterback. I don't need to see anything. Well, I mean, I'm seeing bodies, right? Like, I'm like, I. I got this. You know what I'm saying? I think that was one of the most impressive things of all time with how impressive you were as a quarterback. And then we find out Jameis actually couldn't see anything that was happening on the field. Get a Lasik, you kind of do your entire thing. 40, 60. I was just told, you see, 40ft is 60ft. No, 40, 60 vision. It had to be worse than that. I mean, it had to be the worst of all time. I got 2015 now. Lasik's the greatest. Lasik's amazing. You wake up like the next morning and it's like, wow, I didn't know the world was like this. I'm reading stop signs and license plates and stuff. Like, I never knew head. He was playing quarterback of the NFL. Then Tone has a question for you off of that. Who's the better baseball player, you or Russell Wilson? Man, me and Russ had this conversation a lot, you know, and he knows that I'll strike him out. Obviously. He. He did it at. At. At a huge level. He played for the Yankees. Yeah. Every spring training. Yeah. So, like, he, He. His was more Spring, spring training look strategic. Russell Wilson is a strategic genius, right? He did, he did play for the Yankees. Don't do them like that. But I will strike Russell. Butt out, you know, but. But man, I was really grateful that Jackson got a chance to be with myself and Russell Wilson in that quarterback room, man. Seeing Russell Wilson being the super bowl winning quarterback, future hall of Fame quarterback that he is, humble himself and serve this young quarterback with the type of swag like Jackson has so much swag like for Russ, Russ could have easily just kept quiet, stayed to the side and just. I'm gonna let the young buck do it. But Russ was proactive, man. We were working, we were there 8 o' clock at night, man, still studying, watching film, helping this young kid prepare, man. And it was something that was made where Jackson got to see early on the love and the obsessive trait that is required to be an elite quarterback in this league. So for him to get that his first year, seeing a Super bowl winning quarterback, seeing a quarterback that thrown for a gazillion yards, right? That's one good football games in this league. And him being a rookie, being thrown out there, right? In circumstances that wasn't easy for a lot of us in that room, right? Because they brought Russ in, like, shoot, I went up there and signed. They signed Russ two weeks later. Yeah, yeah, we thought you were getting a shot. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? So all of us were in those situations. Circumstances, conditions and facts that don't really matter. What matters is our choices and decisions and how we respond to anything that comes our way. Have you always been that way? What, what you mean? Just like always, you know, feels like you just. I mean, every time we talk to you, we think to ourselves, hey, this guy's fucking always. It's a growth process. It's a growth process. And I think, like, honestly, I'm grateful that NFL has allowed me to endure that growth, right? Like one of my favorite favorite scriptures, Proverbs 4, not Philippians 4, 13. I could do all things through Christ, through him who strengthens me, right? But before that, Paul is in jail talking about being good with a lot and being good with little. And he talks about how he learned the secret of being content, right? Everybody talks about, I can do, you know, with God, I can do anything I put my mind to. But no one talks about when you are in those high places, when, when you're having success, right? And when you're in those low places, it's equal, right? That contentment doesn't mean satisfaction, but that contentment is required to be the light that we all require to be. Amen. Amen. Thank you. Thank you. You did a prayer for us last year. I think we just ran. It was great to hear. I mean, you immediately went into it. We are not joking about your name here. We are getting out here. I love that. That is something that you've leaned on, been very public about. And also, you've always just remained true to who you are. You are. Yeah, you're an OG in that. James. This is why we all love you. Go ahead, Connor. Guy similar to that, who also is going to be a first overall pick. Heisen winner, national champion. Fernando Mendoza, you're probably one of the only people that can understand, you know, all the success he has had and then kind of being bestowed on. Hey, you. You are now the face of this NFL team. Go and make them a contender. Make them, you know, a team that will be playing, playing in the Super Bowl. What is he going through right now? Just kind of, you know, going through the entire season, finishing on a high note, winning basically every award, and now having to kind of pivot to, hey, I'm about to be the number one pick in the NFL draft. Like, what is. What is his kind of process right now? His process right now should be embracing everything that God has given him in terms of his accolades. This Indiana football team, man, Shout out to them, like, honestly, like, I never would have thought in a million years that Indiana will be the national champions, right? So what they've done, what Coach Sennetti has done at that program is exciting. Really, what their boosters have done in terms of providing funds for these guys is exciting. It's amazing. But Fernando, embrace where he's at, that time will come, right? Obviously, he's focusing on what he would love. He would love to be the number one draft pick. So he's preparing for that. He's practicing his meetings with coaches. Like, man, you gonna get it right, but staying who you are is the most important thing. He's proud about his faith, right? He knows he was at Cal a year ago in Florida State when Florida State had beat Cal, the Cal Bears a year ago. Florida State, some street, man. There's some good old days, man. Florida State's winning the game. That's cool. Florida State is coming back. Florida State coach Mike Norvell is doing his thing, man. We're coming back. We have to adjust to this new nil college football, right? But back to pronounce, man, He's. He. He is preparing to be his very best and not worrying about the naysayers, not worrying about the, the people that pat him on the butt. He's focused on on being the best quarterback that he can be right now. Last question for you, James from D Bug. Yeah, obviously you're still playing, but I love what you've been doing on TV as well. I think you're gonna have a unbelievable career in tv. So I want to kind of ask you from that role, what do you expect and what do you expect to see from these two quarterbacks who have kind of have obviously different points in their career? What do you expect for these defense to come out and show them early in this game on Sunday? Well, I think in terms of the fan engagement, what do we love? We love a story, right? And Sam Darnold, he gives us that story of his resilience, his perseverance, being with eight different teams, you know, however many teams he was with. But now to be in a position where last year, you know, he showed that he was capable of doing it. But this year to be in a position and lead the Seahawks to a Super bowl is important. Impressive, right? But we know that, we know this and he knows this because he was a special teams ace, man. Defense wins championships. Hell yeah. Both of these defenses are fast, they are tough, and they are the most in sync defenses that I've seen a long time. It was three teams that I thought, well, four teams including Champagne's Denver Broncos, the Houston Texans, the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots. Their team camaraderie about how they swarm and attack the ball on defense was electric this year. But obviously young Drake may him being this, this new upcoming of, you know, everybody trying to go ahead and crown him the next thing, man, but, but seriously, everybody trying to crown him the next thing, he has a lot on his shoulders, right? But what he has been doing well and what the most important thing that a quarterback does is win football games. He doesn't have to do too much. He doesn't have to go and create this super bowl winning moment. Obviously the team wants, wants him to do that. I think Sam has more to prove in terms of fan engagement to the world because we've seen him on these big moments, right? And now we're all rooting for him to come through and, and win, right? But Drake, this is going to be our first time really all eyes being on Drake may as he lead the New England Patriots back to their promise promised land, right? Oh yeah, and to your point too, the Pats game against the Giants was where Jackson Dart tiptoed down the sideline. It was like, hey, man. Oh, God, Absolutely. Time. Just time to stay either out of. Don't you think? You say, like, you talk about his competitive fire and how guys like it and everything when he was just diving head first, crazy. Don't you think that is a time for you to maybe say, hey, young man, we don't need to throw CT on a platter like that? Listen, man, I remember my rookie year and. And I don't know if we could pull a clip, man, but we're playing against the Atlanta Falcons in the old Georgia Dome, man, and we're called a tall sweep to Doug Martin on the right hand side. I remember tossing that ball to Doug Martin. I pulled like I was a freaking pulling guard, man. And I went and tried to knock out the middle linebacker. Now, it was a stalemate, right? I didn't go back. I didn't go. I didn't go backwards. I didn't go backwards. But literally I remembered that moment, right? And we went on to win that game. But later on in the season, man, it was a third and 17 in Tampa Bay, man, and I scrambled and everything, and I had to get the first down or we were gonna lose the game. And I ran over that same linebacker and I turned out of it, and then I got the first down. We ended up kicking a field goal to win the game, man. Like, as a young quarterback, you have to play with your instincts, right? You can get coach from like, oh, Jackson, you shouldn't be tiptoeing on the sideline. Never tiptoe on the sideline when you're a quarterback, right? They try to knock your head off, right? But he's learning and he's getting better, and he's gonna be fun to watch for years to come. Yeah, you're tough to tackle. What was that catch this year, right? Oh, yeah. Against Lions. Yes. There it is. It was magical. Look at this quarterback. Look at Gunner O. Shepsley. Oh, coming back to the football. Oh, my God. Come on, sit down, sit down. Wow. How that. That felt good, man. It felt great, man. I was waiting for that opportunity, and it came. Gunner. Okay, speaking of opportunity, did you play hoops? You play baseball? You played football? You play hoops? I was not a good basketball. My wife, actually, she was a. A collegiate athlete in basketball. Any of that, like, transfer over to you after? Well, you know, a lot of. A lot of games, a lot of win being played. In my house, we don't play out. We play win. Right? Because if I lose, I win. But anyways, a lot of that, A lot of that being played in. In my household. W. I got an. I got an N. Win. Thank you, James. Now you do not have to sit down. You can do whatever you'd like. And if you make it. Oh, nothing but the back of the goal. That was a pickleball. You're a pickleball champ. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I actually. Did you see the lady that was just out here? Yes. She was a world class pickleballer. Number one. Number one in the world. She's got a Nike deal for pickleball. Now think about if we knew pickleball was a sport when we was coming. I know, I know. We ain't no pickleball. All I'm saying, all I'm saying. I guess it does kind of rhyme. Jim ain't have no membership at the YMCA to play pickleball. That's all I'm saying. We was at the Boys and Girls Club and it wasn't no pickleball up in there. It was. It was two hand touch. It was probably some kickball, but it wasn't no pickleball. That's all I'm saying. That's fair, I guess. I guess Jameis does rhyme with racist on the back though. I guess it does. Racist. Jameis. Let me even know. Let me tell you one thing that I am not right. I am not racist. Now, me being from the down south Alabama, now I know what racism looks like. I know what prejudice looks like. And I dispute that. Amen. But let me tell you, I'm a lover. But I know about demographics. Let me tell you something about demographics. It's different for us. Probably not now, don't understand. But pickleball. I didn't play either. I just learned a pickleball a couple years ago. What a game. What a game. Yeah. And jamus rhymes with famous. And also. No, it doesn't. Well, not actually. I'd like to let you know. Never. Actually, James, if you're able to make this shot. Okay. Okay. You already had a rangefinder. You're a professional ball thrower. We think you probably. $20,000 donation. Donation to a charity of your choice. Oh, wow. Okay. If you make it in the second or third attempt, because you will get three attempts. It's only a ten thousand dollar donation. So let's make sure we go ahead and make this one. Now look above you. There's lights and cameras. Thank you. And there's action. Oh, God. That would have been awesome. That would have been there's action. Hey, there's lights and cameras and. Oh, it's not. It wasn't meant to be. You got one more. I got one. That was three. No, you're the first two. Great pass. That's a good pass. Great catch for 10 gr. Oh, my goodness. The ball curving on me. The win too. Jamus R is the lamest. Too lamest. James. The lamest. Oh, my God. I got your ass. I got your ass. He was rude as day. James, before we get out of here. And resilient. Okay, Jamus, before we get out of here, would you like say a good word for us so we can have a great rest of Super Bowl Vegas tradition? Yeah. Out of. Absolutely. Bow your heads. Heavenly Father. Lord, we just thank you. We thank you for Pat and we thank you for his team and how they are continuing to advance your kingdom with just their boldness on their show of saying your name, Jesus, and standing by it. We're not playing with you, Lord. We know the importance of our faith. We know the importance of being resilient and persevering and being that light to the earth that we were called to be. So, Lord, I just pray that you help all these athletes here at the Super Bowl. Provide everybody with. With traveling graces as they move around the city. Allow these teams, please protect these teams from all hurt, harm, and danger, and allow this staff and his crew to continue to be the best staff and crew that sports has seen. Lord, I'm so grateful every time I get to be on here with Pat and his squad. Lord, allow them just to continue to be the very best. Lord, we love you and give you all the glory and praise. Amen. Amen. Amen. Thank you. Hey, Jesus, I don't know where you were on his shots, but I appreciate you for us. You're the best. Hey, he made this happen. Yes, he did. And we are thankful for that. Thank you, man. Ladies and gentlemen, James Winston. Thank you, James. God, I feel better, don't you? Unbelievable. You're the best. See you for the Monday, James. Monday burger. Yeah. Free hangover. Hangover burger. Got eggs on there? Probably. Yeah, probably Succulent. Hey. In the succulent juices. Succulent egg. As he was going through that prayer there and he started, like, complimenting us, it was hard for me not to just, like, kind of get out of my prayer mode and look over and be like, I think Jesus knows you're not telling the truth there a little bit. But that was very nice of him to say. Yeah, he's passionate for continued Continuations of what we're doing. You super Italian today. It feels like. Is that what. Whenever you put the costume on, you see, you know, today, Italian Thursday, it's Super Bowl. So, you know, you just go back to your roots. You do what you do to get that of kind. Got you here. And I felt like this is the best representation of that. How do you feel about Mitt standing at that podium over there? Cuz I'm looking this way a lot. He working hard today. So every once a while, turn back this way and kind of see everybody that's out there, very thankful. And there's new faces and. And places that show up here. But Mitt kind of behind the podium has really felt like where he has found his home. Don't you think, Ty? Yeah, he's absolutely killing it. I saw him, you know, chatting with the. He really wanted us to get the pickle ball thing in. Yeah. Big time. Spent all day talking to us. A lot of pressure. Yeah. M. Really, really like the pickleball. Yes, he did. Yeah. And Mitt overnight said, hey, we got a pickleball champion. One boy in the world has a Nike deal. He was selling it like multiple times. He was. It feels like Mitt is a massive fan of pickleball and we appreciate that. You've done a great job. These last. Baby Mitt. Thank you. Thank you. That's that dude. All right, so what do I do? Hi. Hi. My name's Emmett. What's your name? Do you wanna. Yeah. You wanna come on the show? Stay at the podium? I say let them know. We don't expect them to come on the show, but we'd be very grateful. So we're honored. Honored. Like I'm super, like, super honored. They. Come on. He's the greatest. Thank you, Mitt. Love you, man. All right, we gotta get out of here. Hey, let's have a. Hell, yeah. Let's have a great Thursday night. Absolutely. Tomorrow. Tomorrow's show. Yeah. A1. We got hall of Fame Face off to start this thing. Yeah. The hall of Famers who are named tonight will be here together. It will not be the hall of Fame voters. It'll be the actual hall of Famers that get named tonight. And they will be doing a Hall of Fame Face off trivia game to kind of kick off the show for a $50,000 donation to a youth football program of the winning team's choosing. It should be a blast. I think we're gonna have a lot of names here. Obviously, Friday at Radio Row kind of heightens everything. Although the energy has been spectacular the last two days. We're thankful and grateful to be here, boys. Great work today, aj. Thank you. Great work by you. Looks like you didn't get too high on the highs today. No, I did. I'm not going to lie though. I did not enjoy having that snake wrapped around my arm just holding. Why? Con man was getting rested. You handled it well. I'm trying to. I felt like this was starting to crawl up my. My sleeve. Priscilla. Yeah. Priscilla Robert Irwin. Yeah. Love that guy. They did. We got the world's got the world right one time. Yeah. Need more of him. Who else was Christian McAffrey was today I forgot about him. Thor. Thor. Yeah. Him calling AQ fat. Yeah. 600 pounds. AQ wanted us. Wanted me to remind everyone he never used the word fat. But we knew what he was talking. He looked at him and said, this guy is such a fat. So I'm not going to let him off. Get the out of here. £600. What do they speak there in Iceland? What is the. I. I. I was trying Icelandic. I'll tell you what. And then when he said his name at the end I was like, oh, boy. That's. Don't they speak Viking? Is that. Yeah. Swedish sounding used to Scandinavian. All right. Well, I appreciate everybody that stopped by. Icelandic is a north Germanic. Germanic. Yep. Language spoken by roughly 390000 people. Mostly in Iceland where it is the official language is highly conservative. Closely resembling Old Norse. Yeah. Boom. Which you could hear the Norse gods, if you will. The boys. I can't wait to see you guys. Say hello to all these people. Obviously I can't. We can't. We have meetings. Sorry. Yeah. Dude. I got to go hit the wall, brother. I'm back. Yeah, you're. We're both. What did she. What was she using to. I don't know. She was using dolphins. Dolphins battle and we know that would never. Yeah. That's why she had no chance. Well, she kind of did. I actually. She put that best in the world. She was really good. She was really good. Yeah. I thought I had her whenever the thing bounced back. Then she hit a bum. Bum. Yeah. Right back at me. Well, Dolphins Colts got on the same levels. Yes. Oh, shut up. Yes. They are not here. How about everybody just feeling obligated to have to address you that the Patriots are in there. Is that a pretty good little power position for you? It's very funny. Wriggle. Really was kind of didn't want to say. Say hey, I'm. I'm all Over Seattle. I love the Seahawks. I kind of sense that from them. So to kind of grab that out of them and then just drop a. You knowing that it's coming. That's a really good. He wanted Patriots fans to still want to watch his movies and stuff. Yeah. Yeah. Which we always will. His performance in 22 Jump street will always warrant to watch from New Englanders and Marine, you know, a lot of respect. Yeah. Ty, great work today, buddy. I thank you. You as well. Are you gonna have a couple Jack and gingers? Yeah. Tonight. What time is it? Yeah, it is night. 12:53. Yeah. We're on east coast time still, baby. Give me about 15 minutes. How's the trip been for you? Awesome. Yeah? You've been enjoying? Zero complaints. The best trip of my life. Your life? Yeah. D butts, how about you? It's close. I got sitting next to Rob Wilson today. How about him? Just hanging. That's one of the. For me, when I started watching football, like that was the guy. It was him and Dion. When it came to dbs, you talk about greatest all time. Mount Rushmore. He's on everybody's list. God, we're having a good time here, aj. You enjoy anything? Are you too high? No, this is awesome. I'm having a great time. AJ Felt the same way about administrator Terry. To the point D. Buz made. He always had his eyes on him. That was tough for me to get out. Administrator Terry, because it doesn't feel like it has as much of Terry Cole. I personally appreciate his messaging, though, and who we're trying to. How about the mayor came in here. Yeah, the mayor. He was great because I. I tell you what, when he first came up here, I said, wow, I got very low expectations. Well, he came out with hand open like this for a handshake. Like a classic mayor move. Yeah. Hey. Yeah, one of those. He was very squirrely. Yeah. Kind of a smarmy bastard. Yeah. I thought when I first saw. And then he started what he thought, and then he started talking, and I was like, this guy's good, but smar me bastard. Can you define that? You see it exactly. You see someone, the way they look, the way they're kind of moving around, it's like, man, he's a. He's a smarmy bastard, this guy. But then he started talking. I was like, maybe he's not okay. Maybe he just looks. I gave him a 28 chance to like him, and he ended up 69. He came out with all those percentages. Definition 40, 50%. 69. Percent now we were at 28%. He was rattling through. I'm like, good for you nailing all these. Because he. He gets told all these percentages. Oh, yeah. But to be able to place them perfectly in all these different categories. Great work. I think we need to just go hop in some way modes and really enjoy San Francisco to its fullest. No way. I got pee too. No way. It's been about two hours. Yes, it has. It. This is quite a run for us. I'll tell you what. I looked down at all the guests we had lined up. We had a lot more after Robert Irwin. When I started rattling up boys. Rob Riggle, Brock Purdy, Justin Gaethje, Jameis Winston, Liam Cohen pops in. This is awesome. Purdy's a fiery son of a. You can tell he's a. And I mean this in a good way. He's a prick. He wanted to say you to me. Oh, yeah, yeah, sure. I love that guy. Now she would have. I'm happy he didn't because he's class. Yeah. But inside, he told you a bunch, which is why we appreciate class personified. Liam was cool. Yeah. Louis V. Cool as dripped out the whole time. He looked pretty good, too. You remember he was getting a little. That's because Solid's breathing down his neck. Yeah, you're right. He needs to be in fighting ship. Gai. Holy. Yeah, Those ears. Those ears. Both of them. Why doesn't he just cut them off? Hey, dude, all you need is holes, brother. They don't work anymore. You're still here, you know. The cartilage is just there, boys, in the back. Great work. Good work, buddy. Really good stuff. I like the double guns there from the back. We have a little bit more space back here. It's nice. Yeah, Beautiful. It's been nice to get Tony. Okay, you know what's going on, and I know what you're doing. Me? What are you doing? I know. And I know you have somewhere to be. I appreciate this crowd out here. Thank you guys for hanging with us. Oh, yeah, thank you guys. Really appreciate that. Thank you. J.R. mahans. Yeah. The Irish lads are here. It's great to see. That is great to see. The last time I saw them, we were drinking a hundred Guinnesses. I see a West Virginia Mountaineer. Quarter zip. I appreciate the hell out of that. This is the big Italian guy with the last name. Me Come. That's good. Oh, yeah, Mecom. No, it's Me Come. He's been there the whole time. Put a dash in there. He's been Our whole time. Yeah, that's happened in the past to a couple different. There's a whole crew right there. Thank you all so much for hanging out with us. You are on camera right now. You can't see it because the cameras are turned. Yeah. You look good. Packers gotten far, right? Double thumbs. Appreciate him. Double thumbs up. Yeah, appreciate that. Holy. Von Miller's here. Go to the podium. Go to the podium. Oh, you hate Vaughn. Son of a. Hey, Vaughn. Vaughn. That microphone's on. Can you hear okay? Yeah, come in. There's a spot right here or right here. Whatever you want to do. Vaughn. You're Vaughn Miller. Greener pastures. Hell yeah, greener pastures. Dude, I appreciate you, man. What are you doing? Are you out here talking a good word about your chickens? What's up, Vaughn? Vaughn. What's up? Cool new merchant merch. Yeah. What are we doing? Are you talking about the chickens? Is that what we're down here for? Spreading them. Spreading the word. Continue to spread the word. Green and Pastor Chicken is the only USDA approved organic pasture raised chicken farm in the United States. You guys know about. How's that? Hold on. That feels like a very big deal right there. I mean, I try to win Super Bowls on and off the football field, and I'm trying to do the same thing with that. I like. That's good. Hey, that's a good promo. That's a good promo. Right, right there. The merch is obviously sweet. If I wanted to buy some. Some wingies, I just go to the website. How do I go about getting your wingies green and pastureschicken.com we actually have a special on chicken wings right now for the big game on Sunday. Greenandpastricchicken.com get you a wing bundle. Are you doing thighs now too? Because I know thighs, chicken tenders, breast, everything. Oh, what do you put on the tendies? You. You, ketchup and hot sauce or what is your go to? So for me, a little onion powder, a little garlic powder. Yeah. You know, season it. If you're not using salt, you can kind of get crazy with that. You don't have to measure it, but you know, you know how it tastes. The, the. The bird speaks for its surf. The way that our birds were raised. It really speaks words. Cluck, cluck. It says. Yeah, it does. It certainly does. How are you feeling? How's the body? You look incredible. And I'm. I'm feeling good. I'd be 37 in March. Can you believe offensive linemen still falling for this trick? Still falling for us. I'm Gonna keep going. DeBun has a question for you, Vaughn. Super Bowl MVP, man. How. How often do you think about that? I know this time of year brings those memories back. And what was your feeling going into that game? You know, when it's time for kickoff? You know, we all have dreams. You know, as a football player, you. You have. You always had that dream to play in a Super bowl, win a Super Bowl. Never in mean years that I have that dream that I would be super bowl mvp. It just kind of happened. And when you're doing things for somebody else, you know, things like that happen. I was playing that game for Coach Kubiak, DeMarcus Ware, Peyton Manning, Wade Phillips. I was trying to get that experience for them, not myself. And it just full circle came back around and I was able to win super bowl mvp. Whenever you talk about the offensive line, still falling for it. Have you added. Is it. Do you feel like you are still at the point of game wrecking? You have to, right? Don't you have to have that? The easiest way to wreck the game is sack force. Humble on a. On a quarterback, the softest guy on the football field. So I'm still able to get there. Can I. Can I play 80 snaps a game? Probably not, but there are times in a game where I can still go in and be effective for sure. AJ Has a question for you. Yeah, I guess. How. What does your offseason look like now? I'd like to ask guys that, like, compared to when you were young. Yes. So I had. It was like a clip when I was in Washington where I told reporter Nikki, I told her, I wish I would have tried harder when I was younger. Just naturally, as you get older, things become tougher. I try harder. I get to a facility at 6:30 in the morning, weight room, nutrition. I cross my t's and dot my I's on all of that stuff. I wish I would have started off like that. And sometimes you make the best, best decision that you can with the information that you have. And that's what I was doing. But I wish somebody told me, like, hey, stay on your body, stay in shape. Do everything that you can to be the best football player that you can while you still fast bendy, while you still have the athletic ability. Because now it takes two hours to warm this engine up. I wish I would have had that same mentality when I was younger. Yeah, but that's why you learn, brother. That's kind of how it comes together. Go ahead, con man. Yeah. Vaughn, you were In Buffalo for a few years, Sean McDermott obviously just got let go. Were you surprised by that? What did you kind of learn from McDermott and do you think he'll, you know, go on and do a very similar thing that he did in Buffalo? Completely turn that place around somewhere else next year? Coach McDermott took the Buffalo Bills from the seller, the laughing stock, to premier team in the NFL. Every year that they have Josh Allen, they have opportunity to go win a Super bowl. That was Coach McDermott, Brandon Bean, Josh Allen, of course, they did that for the Buffalo Bills. I did not see it coming. That's me personally. I didn't see him getting fired. But when I use my. When I use my brain and you think about the business side of it, it makes sense. Yeah. So from the emotional side, personal side, no, didn't make sense. But, you know, the mental side, the business out. Yeah, it makes sense. Do you still want to be a gm? Still want to do it? That'll always be my dream. Brandon Bean was great and, and really feeling that in that flame. Adam Peters with the Washington Commanders, he's done the same thing. So as long as I keep guys like that around me, I always had a drink. Yeah, you're one of the game's greats. They're going to want to keep you around, brother. We're pumped for you. We just talked to Matt Ryan, president of football down there at Atlanta. We like seeing former players get into positions of power, especially for the future of ball. Vaughn, we hope to see that. Now, how are you as a Hooper man? I'm terrible. But I might get lucky sometimes. I do get lucky. I do get lucky. Life in general or. And, And. And hoops on the football field, on the basketball court, golf course. You get lucky. Yeah, I could put. I could put some rounds together for sure. All right. Will you make this shot for charity? Now, if it goes in, $20,000 to a charity. Hold on, hold on. You got to keep it on so we can talk to you while you're shooting. Yep. It's part of the process. Let me see. Hold on now. Come on, Vaughn. $20,000 to a charity of your choosing if you're able to make the first shot here. This is von Miller, super MVP. Of course. Some guy, 24. Course, I do get lucky sometimes. Must be tough. Yeah. Jeez. Ladies and gentlemen, Greener Pastures Chicken. Founder, owner V. Miller. Thanks for stopping by. Good to see you, man. Great fit. It like, fits him pretty good. Talks table. Stand up, say goodbye to. Come on. I mean, that's like New England V. Yeah. Thanks, man. Oh, yeah, yeah. Hey, we appreciate that out of you, man. Yeah, you got it, dude. Appreciate you, Von Miller. He's awesome. Like, that's what we're talking. Radio Row Just explains it. Strolling say, oh, he's got chicken. We want to talk about. All right. Hi, everybody. Good to see you guys. Let's get out of here. Be a friend. Tell a friend something nice about. Change your life. We're in this thing together. Team on me. Team on. On three. Boys in the back. Good work today. Yep. Thumbs up. Good. I like that. Yep. That was a good foxy, sturdy. You just know he's got a piss like a racehorse. Come on, Tony. Yeah. Come on, Tony. We got him. Thank you, Tony. Where's aq? Aq? Where's aq? This guy's back there. Meet and greeting the whole time. I saw him hit the buffet, up a little. Oh, the mountain said he's already been there a few times. Where's aq? K? He might be wrestling the mountain right now. Oh, no, he's gone. He's eating. He's eating. He's. He's stalking the mountain. Hey, be a friend. Tell a friend something nice. To my change of life. We're gonna sing together. Team on me. We'll see you tomorrow. Team on three. One, two, three.
