Hello, beautiful people, and welcome to our humble abode, the Thunderdome, on this overreaction mania week. Monday, April 13, 2026. This program begins now. Sports are the absolute greatest. And boy, what a weekend we had. And it's not just the weekend. That was fantastic. Congratulations. Rory McIlroy, a guy from the Big Ten of Ireland, Northern Ireland, which I did tell Greg Sankey, the commissioner of the sec, that if Rory win, I do believe he would claim north, which is obviously Big Ten world. So that would be another national championship, as we had a chance to have dinner together while Denver beat Wisconsin in the National Championship of hockey, where there was potentially a joke made about maybe Denver joining the SEC because Big Ten loses a national championship there. Just know that Sankey had a left and a right back for everything, and he is still throwing 108 on the tape for everything. But on that note, Rory, special weekend. I mean, an absolutely special weekend for Rory McIlroy. He does something for the first time since Tiger in 2002, and also the first time since that exact tournament. Rory ends up winning. Scotty Scheffler ends up in second place. That's the world one versus world two up at one and two at Augusta. Like Phil in Tiger were in 2001, 2002, or whatever the case. So whenever you talk about a sweet weekend of golf to basically kick off, you know, this is another spring in the South.
B
Oh, yeah.
A
Okay. It's basically another notch of another year of life with family down there in this southern paradise that is Augusta national, which I will say I did get a chance to experience. Ooh. And I will tell you what, a lot of anxiety with the whole no phone thing.
B
Sure.
A
Okay. Pregnant wife, obviously, a lot going on in life. Obviously. And also, like, just kind of. It's going to be an issue whenever I retire. I'm going to have to go do some stuff to get away from the phone. Feel like I have to always just kind of know what's going on everywhere, basically, because I'm gonna have to talk about it, probably, if it's happening in the sports world. So having to put that bad boy down to go in. There was certainly a moment with myself. There was a look in the mirror like, yo, come on. This thing doesn't own you. You know, Like, I had to do one of those, like, had to do, like, a real conversation. Then I plugged that thing in, flipped it over, and I turned and I went Amish. Okay. And I walked right out there. Then we got put into a sprinter van that had broken blinds okay, so they were all done. Bluetooth was the radio setup. We don't have anything to Bluetooth. We are in a pitch black base sprinter van. Just put my phone down, get into a sprinter van. No sound, nothing to do. Squid games very much.
B
Yeah.
A
Me and Foxy having full conversations about we're the dumbest of all time.
C
Oh, yeah.
A
How are we adults that we have lived the life that we've lived? We've gotten a chance to experience so many things. We've got a chance to meet so many different types of people. How are we getting bamboozled right now? In Augusta, Georgia, we fell for line and sinker. There was a little bit of an uneasiness. There was an anxiety level that was pretty high, strictly because of the lack of being able to communicate at all times. Like, I don't know how we used to do it. Like, I was a part of life whenever we didn't have this. It's crazy what life is now versus what it isn't. And then we pull onto the property and then we meet Dakimya. And I'll tell you what, Dakimya had the most energy that I've ever seen in my life. Welcome to Augusta National. You're going to have the time of your life. Scanned us in there. We walked in there and then we had no idea what to do. They pointed us at a house. They were like, you're going that way right there. And it's like, sweet. We walk in, there's a right, there is a left, there is a straight, and everything is nice. And we just ask, hey, what are we supposed to do? We go down there, and then there'll be a whole area to eat, drinks, whatever you need. And then the course would be on the other side. Thank you so much. We go there. We go in a room. Holy hell. There's a lot of people. Okay. A lot of people. So then we go to the bar immediately just to try to get some answers. Hey, we'll take definitely jack and diet, if that's possible. The azalea is the drink you'll want to have. You're right, sure. Thank you so much. I'll have one of those. Drink that. And also, where are we right now? They start explaining the room that we're in. There's two green jackets in here currently. If you look around, you'll be able to see them obviously having conversations. Don't interrupt. But you should feel comfortable talking to them. They're very excited to be here, as are you. Thank you so much for being our guest. Whole breakdown on this entire place. So we get these two Azalea drinks. They're pink, okay? They taste delightful. I have no idea what's in them. They were pretty boozy, but not too boozy. Tasted delightful, very good. No, you're going to be walking a lot. We walk out of there, and we're just off into this thing. Maybe walk 14 miles. Okay? I have no idea. That shit is like this, and that shit is like this. The whole place is Pittsburgh. I had no idea that it was as much as it was foxy. And I got a chance to see it all, live it all, do it all, hear it all. Lowry hits a hole in one. We were a fair way over that thing. Just like whenever you were watching on TV and there's a shot that happens elsewhere. The roar that came through, like the haulers down there through the hills, it was insane. And there's no camera, there's no TVs out there. All you got is a leaderboard, okay? So you hear roar, and then you got to get eyes to leaderboard, and then leaderboard will do something. Was that a big time birdie putt from somebody? Because you can't really see it. Holy shit. That was a hole in one for Lowery. Big time pop, then across the rest of the course. So when the leaderboard changes, that provides, like, real moments and you got people really interacting with each other. We were sitting on a hole six on Sunday, and the place was packed. It's a par three that comes in there. Very crucial, a hole there. Rory bogeys this just two holes after he double bogeyed. We saw Leaderboard rory go from 12 to 10. Place lit up where we were sitting, which was on the other side. It felt like we were back in time, but it felt like we were really in the moment. Beers flowing, conversations happening. We were there for, like, 45 minutes to an hour. Watched a bunch, almost got hit by a ball that came flying in over top of us. Saw Scotty Scheffler, saw the boys walk by. But what I really experienced was all the Southerns, okay, sure that they have been doing this just like college football for as long as they've possibly been allowed to do it. Everybody that's there treats it very much like lucky to be on the national grounds here. Like, thankful to be here. Then they all tell stories about what they've seen and what they haven't heard. Then you got people that are able to break down the green better than the caddy. Maybe everybody has left this short. Some guy says, over Here with long white hair as they're walking up. We're boozing together. His family's boozing with us. We are boozing over here. There's some corporate entity that's worth billions of dollars sitting here having the time of. Because they were allowed to do whatever. It was just like a trip back in time to a great time. But we couldn't really follow everything as closely. So then as soon as you get out of there, you get to your phone and you go, holy hell, Scotty Scheffler's only seven back. And then you go, holy hell, Scottie Scheffler not happy about the Friday afternoon conditions. Holy hell, Scotty Scheffler's about to go on a tear. Who else could maybe do it? Well, Cam young friend of the program, he might go bananas. We didn't know Tyrell Hatton was gonna do his thing when his name was moving up the leaderboard. People were going crazy. Morikawa. People were going crazy. Sergio Garcia, he actually went crazy. Yeah, he did actually want crazy. So it was just like, we were very lucky and honored to be there. And we let everybody know that we're very thankful for the hospitality. And I think the Southerns watch our show.
D
Nice.
A
Okay. I think they do. I think they do. I think they know us big time. And that was a very cool. That was a very cool part of it all. And the interactions are so like. Cause you ain't got shit.
D
Yeah.
E
Yeah.
D
All you got is interactions. Real ones.
A
Hey, we're all we got.
B
Yeah.
A
Hey, we're all we got out here. How do you think it's going to hit? Well, everybody that's hit from here hit it a bit, right? And they need to be aiming a little left. So then golfer walks out. We watched. What was that guy named? Pengi, Maybe P, E, N, G. This guy put it into the straw right in front of us. We're watching this guy, like, figuring out his life or whatever. He bends over underneath a tree, bangs that thing, like, perfectly out of our thing, and we go pangy. We have no idea if that's his actual name. It's just like a foot and a half away. It was a great experience. We're thankful for the hospitality. And Rory McElroy did something which was piss everybody off seemingly all weekend.
B
Yep.
A
Hey, how are you gonna handle Sunday? Like, I'm a Masters champion. Like, I have a green jacket and I'm know what to do. This prick. I hate this guy. I hate everything you're saying. You know, I actually haven't Gone to the tournaments or whatever. I just have been playing up here. I've been able to put. I've been able to watch my daughter go to school. It's been a lot of fun. And then now that I'm able to play here, because I won a green jacket here and I'm a member here, I've been playing here the last three weeks instead of playing at the other tournaments. People didn't love that he said that. I think he was just saying, like, hey, I get to play at Augusta, so I'm gonna go do that. And he figured the place out. I had a chance to listen to a Gu talk the night on Saturday night, who's been covering the Masters for 50 years. And he said that the way this guy was playing throughout the beginning of this tournament with the lead was ass. He's like, this guy is swinging, couldn't drive. His sequencing right now is off his time. He gave, like, a 50 thing, like, breakdown on him. And he's in a league, so I. Or he's one back, whatever it was. No, he's in a lead. And it was like, the conversation about, like, Rory has not played good golf at all, and he's still in the lead. They're starting to talk about him as if he's. Oh, yeah, they're starting to talk about Rory like, hey, this might become the McElroy masters. I mean, Freddie Couples actually said, Rory might never lose here again. And then everybody was like, what if that's real? And then he does what he does, not even playing his best, and then he comes out afterwards. I know every part of this course. I know every part of this course. You could easily do that if you played it a bunch of times. And I think playing it, if you're able to play it is probably a lot easier because there's a walkway thing across these fairways with paint. Okay. It's called crossways, I guess, right now. Walkways, crossways. And it's like Shibuya in Japan as people are walking, okay. As they're trying to get from place to place. Foxy this.
B
Oh, great. Oh, no.
E
He embarrassed us.
C
What?
F
Foxy was fox.
A
Okay? I'm telling you. Unbelievable. Obviously, it was a packed house, very busy. This is what we do. Foxy just goes ahead and just walks to the left of the paint.
C
Yeah, okay.
A
Just walks the left of the paint. Casually strolling, holding a drink, glasses on the place, casually strolling across the street.
C
I wanted to walk on the actual grounds.
A
So then you get a guy. Okay. Few steps into that as basically with his eyes, his mouth, and his hands. This guy. Just another patron. Just guy. Just living thankful to be here.
E
Yeah.
A
Okay. Lucky to be here. This is the masters, you know, welcome to it. He goes within the paint and that just keeps walking. Didn't work there or anything like that. And I'm like, the reason why is because you don't get to experience that is basically how they feel. If you get to experience this, this is like a lucky thing. And we could sense it. And everything is good. Everything's got a lot of beer.
D
Wide.
A
A lot of sun. So much sun. Still throwing the fastball.
B
Yeah.
A
Sun's away. Sitting at 6 there.
D
Believe it.
A
And there was no tree. I don't know. I don't know if they're. I don't know. Or clouds. I don't think so. You're sitting there drenched in sweat amongst a lot of people with no phones. And if you were to tell me that that's where I would be. And you asked me, how am I? How am I doing? I would say, I'm fucking doing terrible. If I'm in that situation, you can definitely come get me. And I would say it was the complete opposite. It was such a joy of an experience.
C
It was the greatest sporting event I've ever been to, for sure. And there was so much hype going into it. I mean, Twitter blows this thing up. And I'm like, okay, we'll see how this actually is. And then you get there because of the phone thing, Pat. I thought we might show up for 30 minutes. You'd say, okay, this is cool. But that doesn't. You get lost in there. It's real. And my other big takeaway out of this whole thing is TV doesn't do the elevation any justice. I mean, what those guys are putting on is impossible. So, yeah, it was cool to see in person, and I. I loved every single second of it.
A
Yeah, it was. It was a great thing. But Foxy knows golf really well. It was like a very. I was very thankful he was there. Cuz I'll tell you, you get out there. AJ was out there for eight hours.
E
Yeah.
C
Crazy.
A
Couldn't find anybody.
B
Yeah, exactly.
A
There's a chance you get out. Like, Foxy wants to get us a beer. At one point. It, like, maybe we'll see you, dude. Like, we have no idea if we're ever going to see him again. We have no clue. And if we do, it'll be at wherever the checkpoint is to get out the check in, check out thing, too, because you don't have really any means of communication with the outside world other than a slew of phones, which I have seen before. I got arrested for a public intoxication. So I got one phone call. You always, like, think that that's how it works. It is actually how it works. How many numbers do you know? I don't know. So 1. My dad, I call him. That's what it looked like. People were in line, like, waiting for it, and I'm like, man, this is a trip back in time.
F
Do you use the payphone?
A
There's the lines.
F
Or is it actual payphone?
A
It's just a. I don't know if it's a payphone. I think you just pick it up. It's not your NFL event. Darius J. Butler, you picked up the game in the last few years, obviously become a massive fan. Roy McElroy, special talent. That place obviously beautiful. And it feels like everybody kind of understands its magnitude, which is why everybody got so mad last week about the Jason Kelsey stuff. You know, Jason Kelsey, a friend of program. We like Jason Kelsey. We love Jason Kelsey. Football guy, doing a great things and. But Jason Kelsey is center football. I mean, he has a good time, he enjoys his life. People got immediately pissed about, especially in the golf. They're like, don't ruin Augusta. It's like after experiencing it, it's like, man, it does feel like they have created a little piece of heaven down there that they're like, let's not fuck this. We, we have done a good job down here and I respect it, but I think it's why the golfers respect it so much as well.
F
Yeah, it's kind of the pin. It's the pinnacle of the golf world, the golf game. And Ferrori to go back to back. I thought he kind of killed the drum and excitement of it going into the weekend having that big lead, but he did not Masters. It always delivers. And look, I love Roy. I love it. He went back to back. I was praying that he went double bogey so he could have had a playoff with Scott.
A
That drive goes right. That drive goes right. Yeah.
F
One VERSE two But just a credit to him, just always bounced back. Whenever it didn't look good, he got back on point. The thing about that I've picked up in golf for the last few years playing these same courses, the more familiar you get with them. And he said it after the tournament, I know where to miss. You know, I knew where all the misses were. When he came out of the bunker later on 18, you knew he. He was he was going to two putty to get the win. Hated that we didn't see the putt. Last putt go in. But the weekend was amazing.
A
Hey, good week to not. To not watch the TV version.
F
Yeah.
A
What I heard on the Internet. Second shots on that note, that's short. Can't you 8k that? I mean, you can do that shot. You can maybe get a shot that you can never get before because you don't really have to. Yeah, you know, you would think, but there might have been. Remember, remember, we gotta remember with live sports, there's always a chance that the networking or some camera. Like, there's always a chance that something fucks up.
C
Yeah.
A
Like just hot as people that have done this before. Oh, yeah. There's things that just could happen that leave people, like handcuffed. But, man, missing a shot in this. And that's it.
F
You knew what shot it was gonna be for four minutes. You know, you saw the putt, you knew. I mean, but it happens. But it was a great, great tournament. Great finish. Great drama down the street.
A
I gotta miss it. Yeah, he misses that, you miss the whole thing.
B
That's what I'm saying. If he. If he misses that and they don't have that one and then, well, that's not great. I mean, because it's kind of just like, okay, well, he won, you know, he should have. But. But, yeah, like you said, things happen. We kind of already knew where things were going. I mean, other than that, it was impeccable, like it always is.
A
That's toxic. Table at Ty Schmidt at Boston. Connor, as soon as you said that Rory knew the course inside and out, you heard a little over there from con Man. He's. He's like, oh, there's a lot of people on the Internet, obviously, we know this. We experience this wrestling. People aren't happy with me and that Internet. And I will let you know, you don't even know what's good for you over there, you fucking market.
B
Okay?
A
You don't even. You don't even know what's good for you over there. But there is a portion of the Internet that is not happy with anything Eloran McElroy had to say. But him winning right in despite of that. Plus there was a book, right? So, like, everything that was kind of happening and how everything he was saying was going heel. Everything was heel. Everything was. Everything was bad for Rory outside on the Internet in there. He walked up the six, there was a lady sitting in the front row and she goes, let's remember now, when the Champ comes up here, this is a standing ovation time at the Augusta. At Augusta or whatever. So Rory missed the green. He hit it back off the backside of it. And everybody, as he walks, stands up, and there's a lot of. Come on, Champ. You know, a lot of, like. They literally call him Champ everywhere. So, like, as he's walking up the fairway, I think at seven. I don't know if it was seven or eight we saw him at, because we're walking back and cross as he's walking up the. The fairway. Even where there isn't the massive crowds, there's still, like, hundreds of people just kind of milling through every single fairway. Anytime somebody saw Rory, it was all right, Champ. Because they, like, are. I think they're appreciative of the champion. When you feel obligated to respect the champion whenever you were on the grounds, if that makes sense. And so everything on the Internet. I don't think there was a lot of that in real life. I think in real life, there was a lot of, like, we appreciate the hell out of him.
F
And I flipped on him. I hated Roy forever, like, the last couple years, whatever reason, that was a part of it for sure, when he came out high, horses. But the way he played, you know, kind of. You know, I don't. I don't. I don't necessarily see it as being Hill, especially once he won the last one. I feel like he kind of went face for a lot of us. But I've kind of been rooting for him the last couple years. Just seeing him come in and talk about, hey, I'm already a master champion. Let me go out there and play like it. I like shit like that. When you see the great golfers go out there and show up in the biggest moments, that's what I like to see out of athletes. And be comfortable in your own skin. Talk your shit. Some people gonna hate you. Some people gonna love you.
A
He's gone through a lot and feels like he's very comfortable in between the ropes. And I'll tell you what, once your thighs have touched those ropes and you've seen these guys hit a ball, it's like, I don't know how anybody can get that good at golf. Yeah, you know, that's a pretty humbling experience. I watch a guy, Michael
D
Block Blocky.
B
No, Blocky wasn't there. Remember, he didn't get invited because he's
E
not good enough to play Thor boxing. That's not true, was it? Michael Thor Boxen.
A
I don't know. It was Michael. It was something. I don't know. We. It was one of. It was like Buble of singing this guy with his driver so we couldn't really see him. It was at the first tee whenever we first got dropped off and we just walked to where we saw the most amount of people. Feels like that's what we shoot. So we're kind of like up a hill. First tee has a lot of action. There's a lot of action around first tee. I will say they first tease a good time.
C
It's a bit noisy. I was shocked they were hitting in that noise.
A
First tea is a good time. I mean, first tea, where the golfers walk through it is a Dallas Cowboys walking in the stadium type through the. The entirety. So it's like, oh, this feels like a good place to hang. And then we're watching everybody and then we saw Xander walk out and all these people walk out. But we watched this guy and we should know his name. We're sorry. A lot of people we didn't know, by the way, boy, there's a lot of guys on tour that you don't know that they do not put on TV pop up. They need to let this guy drive. At least on tv. This guy fucking. I mean, just absolute nuke off the tee. Just the sound of it leaving and then watching it just kind of like carve through the sky and it lands and then it disappears. I don't even know where the hell it went. It's like, oh, man. Yeah, I don't know if I'm ever gonna win one of those. Yeah, it's a different game right there. I don't know if I'm joining us now, ladies and gentlemen, is a man who's a two time US Open champion and a man who just got done covering his 50th Masters. I had the opportunity to listen to him talk on Saturday night. It was my first time really listening to him give a speech. Although we've seen him on TV for ESPN for as long as as we've been alive. Spectacular breakdown of what was to come on Sunday basically predicted it 100% accurately to us. What came true is obviously through the mouth of a guy who knows Augusta inside and out and is an absolute gentleman. And I'll tell you what, he looks damn good in person. He walks in, there's an aura that follows him. Ladies and gentlemen, Andy North.
G
Appreciate it. Hey, Andy, great to see you on Saturday night.
A
Hey, it was great to see you. You stood up, you know, there's A lot of speakers that evening. A lot of people are doing great. You stood up, incredible suit. Obviously just got off tv. Had a little purple checkerboard thing, you know. You know, loose paint kind of comes in there. Everybody, as soon as they see him, holy shit, that's Andy north, who's here. You know, the whole room basically stops, stands up, gives a speech. And what you were talking about for the tail end of it. Whenever somebody asked you who you thought was going to win, you said, rory has not been playing good golf at all. Basically, his sequencing was off, his timing was off, he was all over the place, and he's still doing what he's doing. You thought there was a chance that he'd be able to play better golf. What did you see from Rory on Sunday? And like Freddie couple said, is Rory going to win this thing forever? Is this what this is now because he's able to just play it all year round?
H
Yeah.
G
I thought Rory had a real good practice session right behind us, right behind our set, which is on the. The practice area there. He was the only guy in the. On the practice tee late Saturday night. And I. I thought that he looked like he was getting things back together, and that's the most important thing. You can't leave the golf course feeling really bad. You've got to figure it out and have some positive vibes, leaving, you know, so you can sleep that night a lot, mainly. But I thought that, you know, he got off to a little shaky start, and then he hit an unbelievable shot at 7 and an unbelievable shot at 8 to get the ball in the green to make a couple birds. And it's like all of a sudden, he kind of found his rhythm, his mojo, and he really hit the ball well that next stretch of holes and went from three behind to back near the lead again. And then the key shot, I thought the whole tournament was that.
A
Oh, so close to hearing basically the
G
last five or six shots he hit on the range Saturday night was that shot kind of a little squeeze fade. Hit it in the middle of the green, let the thing cut in. Once it got on the ground on the 12th green, it was spinning that direction. So it got closer to the hole. He knocked the putt in, and all of a sudden it looked like he was in control of the tournament again.
A
Yeah, control of the ball, control of the tournament, and obviously control of the second nine. He talked the night before about, after a shaky Saturday, what he'll be doing in the morning. And his quote kind of drew up a little bit of backlash. When he said, been there, done that. Go ahead, Tone.
E
Yeah, Andy, obviously, you know, Rory, he. The second nine on Friday was unbelievable. And he takes that huge lead going into Saturday, and then, you know, doesn't play his best on Saturday. And then you talked about the first nine on Sunday. How hard is that for a golfer when things are going like that and you look at the leaderboard and you're not at the top anymore, just to keep the composure? And then you talked about 7, 8, and then the shot on 12. How hard is that for a golfer to kind of reel things back in and just kind of keep his composure there?
G
Well, I think. I think the biggest thing is that's why when he was talking about, I've done this before, you know, you. You understand how your body's going to react. You understand how to handle certain shots on that golf course. You understand what the wind's going to do and having the experience, you know, I'm sure Pat had the, you know, you got a big kick at the end of the game. Heck, I've made these things before. You have to convince yourself that it's going to work. And. And he did that. And obviously a super talented guy. He didn't drive the ball well at all last week. He didn't drive the ball particularly well the year before. He had the ball in the woods a bunch. He played a lot of great shots off the pine straw to get it back in play, but that's what veteran top of the world players are able to do.
A
How about that bunker shot on 18, Andy? Just the thought of, you know, he sprays it to the right. Only thing we can't do here is double. He's off to a rough start off the tee box, then he ends up in the bunker. Sorry, I don't know what the right word is. Is that the right word? I hope I said the right.
G
You got it? Got it.
A
Nailed it. I know there's a special name for it, but then him getting out of that. What do you think his mindset was going in there? Just what you just said. Like, I've been there, I've done that. How tight do you think that club got for Rory? Do you think Rory feels okay in there?
G
He left it in the bunker you wanted. I mean, he left it in the perfect place. The angle coming out of that front bunker, you've got that slope behind the hole. So if the lie's not really good, you can't spin it very much. You still can use the slope to get it closer to the hole. Basically. All he had to do is just chunk it up on the green and everything was going to be fine. It was going to stay in that low area. Worst case scenario, he was going to have a 15 footer for par that he needed two putt to win. So it was a pretty good spot to be. You didn't want to be it in that right bunker. Now you're going back down the hill. That's a totally different animal. But he had a great shot around the trees and left it in a really good spot. And once he got in that bunker, I think he probably knew it was all over.
A
People are gonna be pissed to hear this, but I got the putt on not Augusta greens, but another place that is within the Augusta national real estate screens that are set up exactly like the Augusta Berkman's. I don't know what I'm allowed to say. Thank you. You've been there for 50 years. That is unbelievable. Over there, this place. They built a resort on the property.
C
Oh, yeah.
A
They just built a resort. They built a vacation resort for Augusta with. On the property. And it's all. It's unbelievable. It's. It was outrageous. Then they got tour guides for me to go on a little putting excursion.
E
Okay.
A
Which would match the putts.
E
Same step meter.
A
That'd be a. Yeah. And then who's. Who's guiding the tour? Oh, PGA pros are doing it from all around the country, offering you lessons while you're. Everything there was just like, this is the smartest. This is the smartest. Everything I did, it was like, this is the smartest. And I'll tell you what. No. Four putts. Okay. No. Four.
E
That's good.
H
Boom.
E
Are they rolling fast, though?
A
Well, no. Four putts. That's all you need to know. No four putts, because the classic four putts.
G
Could you believe how fast the greens were?
A
So we talked about this last night, actually, at T Bones. Shout out to T Bone Steak down there in Augusta. The shock.
G
That's where you went last night?
A
I was invited. I was invited. I was invited. Okay. I heard it was the spot. Some drunk guy told me it was the spot. We went there. It was the spot. I mean, the two owners of these two kids who got this business passed down from their father, obviously. Rest in peace. 26, 28 years old. One has this phenomenal mullet.
D
Love that.
A
And this other one has beautiful mustache. And the vibes in there, Immaculate. The ribs, I mean, absolutely spectacular. We had a blast while we were in there. We were just talking about, like, the Entire situation of Augusta as a whole and how I completely understood why, like, our show, I understood beforehand just because of the lore of it all. But after going to it, like, I completely understand why we should never have our show there. Okay. Like, I, I just. Andy, I want to let that be known. Like, I, I very much got that messaging, but it's like it, it does hold on to, like, this special folk. So, like me even saying I was putting at that Berkman's green, which is like this beautiful area. There's. People are going to be pissed because I shouldn't experience that. How do you think they've been able to maintain it? Like, you've been a part of this for 50 years. Has it always been held in this regard? And that's like the way it's been passed down. Passed down. Was there a turning point for this thing to become as big and as. Oh, I don't even know.
D
Coveted.
A
Coveted, yeah. Like, has it always been like this for 50 years? Because I'm from the north, obviously. I know the Masters because I watch it on tv. I watch Tiger do his thing down there and it's awesome. Green jacket. Let's do it. But just much like college football, I don't think if you're not really around it, I don't think you really can understand. That's kind of my thought on college football. And it felt very similar with that entire thing. It's like, obviously I'm a doofus and I don't understand that this goes back so long. Is that what I was missing, you think? Is that what the rest of the world may be Mrs. And why do you think it is so grand, if you will?
G
It's been special from day one. They've done a great job of creating a culture tradition there that's unlike any other tournament we play. And I think in the last 15 or 20 years, they've even expanded it more so with the addition of, like, the Berkmans. They've purchased a lot of property around the golf course to make the parking better, to make the hospitality better. It's just an absolute first class event. You know, I've been lucky enough to travel all over the world and do a lot of sporting events. The only sporting event I think is even close to it is Wimbledon. And it's the same kind of culture, the same kind of class. You don't have advertising splashed all over the place. It's about creating the best event you can have. And Augusta's done an amazing job of doing that.
A
Yeah, I was Lucky to be a part of it, as was Foxy. And if you ever get the opportunity, I think you definitely should. Little anxiety leaving the phone, you know, as an Internet person as that, that was certainly something. But then I realized, like, nah, this is actually like a beautiful. You know, I obviously missed and was wondering what was going on at certain times while you're walking up another mountain. Okay, you're walking up another mountain and you're. You didn't wear the proper socks for the shoes that you were wearing, so your pinky toe is just
D
in it.
A
I mean, I'll never be able to do a marathon that's way too long. That's way too long. But whenever they talk about the abuse that your feet take in those things, I think I felt it, I think I felt it on Saturday, more so than Sunday. But Saturday, it was just rubbing raw basically out there. But it didn't care, didn't matter. Just gotta go see it, gotta go feel it. Everything like that. Okay, let's talk about some of the storylines coming out of this year's Masters with Andy North. 50 years at the Masters. And I'll tell you, I don't know if he does a speaking tour. I don't know if he does. I don't. I should have asked before you came on here. Nailed it.
C
So good.
D
Okay.
A
I mean, I'm telling you, just.
G
I'll send you a percentage. Thanks, Pat.
A
No problem. I don't know what you're charging. Should be more and we can make up the difference. But let's talk about in the history of golf now what this weekend did. Go ahead, debut Andy.
F
Now, Rory has been a phenom from day one and he's kind of, he's living up to expectation. Now, back to back Masters win gets him up to six majors. Does this firmly put him in the top 10 golfers of all time in your book?
G
Yeah, he's getting pretty darn close. You know, we, we kind of laughed about Freddy saying, heck, he might win the rest of them, but the golf course is so perfectly built for him. The type of shots he likes to hit, I wouldn't be a bit surprised. He wins multiple more. And then now you're talking about, you get to that 8 major, 10 major area. You know, you're one of the top 10 that have ever played the game. Amazing talent. And you know, you, it's like you, you get enough success that it frees you up a little bit that all of a sudden you're just on a, on a roll and, and I wouldn't be a bit surprised if he. He goes on a super roll here for a while.
A
All right, Andy, you've been on a super roll for 50 years at least. I don't know. I assume longer. I don't know what you did before that. I assume we were great. I assume an unbelievable run then as well. We appreciate you taking time today and making our show much more prestigious. Yep.
F
Thank you.
G
Well, I appreciate it. Anytime. I love it and love watching you guys and you make it fun. You're making sports fun. So see you guys later.
A
God, you're the man.
D
Oh, yeah.
A
Ladies and gentlemen, Andy Norris. He said of the sort to me and Foxy at the dinner. He actually held up the next speaker a little bit, trying to get over to us and say very kind things to us.
C
It was awesome.
D
Was the next speaker the one you guys loved?
C
Yes.
A
Let's move along. There was a long speech that was given. I learned a lot about a lot.
E
Nice.
A
I've never been at one of those events. Showed up in a tank top. Obviously, that's not how this is going. They're hosting a dinner at a house.
F
Tank top.
E
If it's at a house, it's a house party.
A
It was a house. It was a house party. It was a house house. They knew what was coming, I think. Right. I got invited to this thing. It's at a house. I just want anyone else.
B
Was there a dress code? If there was no dress code, then you're fine.
A
I was not.
F
Is it the shackaloosis tanked up?
A
No, I can't wear yellow. You should have known that. That was Foxy. Rude. He put me on tv.
F
What was.
E
What was Foxy wearing?
A
He had buttoned on.
C
Yeah, button down.
A
He came downstairs. To be clear. He came downstairs. I looked at him. I said, all right. Oh, no. I. I did think there was a chance it would be a problem. It was a hass.
F
Okay.
A
It wasn't on property. It was off property, which you should see the business they're running down there.
C
Yeah.
D
Actually, funny enough, I was, while watching the broadcast, looking for all this stuff on the side just to see if I could see where. They don't show you guys.
A
No, they don't. It was incredible, the amount of humans we met. And you know what? It. What? I found that T mobile.
H
Yeah.
B
Yeah. Got best coverage ever.
D
Do they.
E
Have you seen them?
A
No way.
E
Have you seen the map, man, by
A
the way, the medium. We love that. I'll tell you what, we'll take Coors light, ice cold. Always, always be the yellow are those Rockies.
I
Blue.
A
I've heard they. When they are delight is be pumped about. Yeah, I will. The amount of humans that are kind of just roaming around there and who the humans are is absolutely insane.
F
Can imagine.
A
We do love Buffalo Wild Wings.
B
Love it.
A
Always have, Always will. Miller, Kors, that whole company.
B
Yeah. You name everything.
D
Kidding me.
A
Let's pivot away from golf and shilling for anybody that we don't have deals with. It was nice to meet people, though. I don't do those things.
H
Yeah.
D
Those events.
C
It was fun.
A
I don't do those.
F
T mobile's got Starlink on the phone.
A
I heard that as well.
D
Starlink on a phone.
A
They were the first 5G network.
F
What?
A
Yeah. Nobody knows that. Everybody thinks T Mobile. Ass. Guess what? T Mobile. Allegedly. I don't have it yet. Not.
E
Yeah, I think Anne Hathaway told us that, if I remember correctly.
A
Yeah, that's true. Who did this? I learned a lot about T mobile. You know, whenever you're. Whenever you don't have a phone. What are we talking about? I'm a naturally curious individual, you know, so whenever somebody brings something up, we're both stuck here. Okay, let's see where we can go here. Great conversation multiple years in a row.
B
Can't fact check either. So you kind of just take everything as gospel.
H
Big.
A
Holy.
B
I've really been sleeping on this.
A
Yeah. So then more people came to group because remember, you don't know when people are coming.
J
When.
A
Okay. You have no idea who's popping into your life. It's a trip back in time. So as more people come, they catch the tail end of me going, so you're telling me T Mobile, not ass. So then there's somebody who is, I don't know, the head of. See something.
C
Oh.
A
Of some other comp that does something with them. And they're like, what? That is not what we're talking about right now. It's like, no, that's a good thing. That's a good thing. Now you got more people. It's like a. It was incredible. It was a trip back in time. Yeah. It was literally a trip.
C
Every single detail sounds good of throughout the whole weekend. It was perfect.
A
It's crazy. It's crazy. It was really. That's why everybody says it so much better because it's just like you're. It's a completely different world. Yeah. Yeah. You're just in a completely different world down there. And everybody was so kind and to the Southerns, I appreciate our hospitality down there. That's what they do, and I'll tell you that. Azalea. Azalea.
E
What's in it?
A
The drink. Remarkable.
C
Very good.
A
What was that other one, spiked?
C
We had an Arnold Palmer.
A
Yeah, Shout out.
C
That was good.
A
The beers. There's a lot of beer drinking down there.
E
I'll tell you, walking a lot, Azalea, is vodka, lemonade and a bit of grenadine.
C
Can I say something about the sandwiches?
A
Nope.
C
Okay.
B
Keep your mouth shut.
A
Shut up. Oh, no.
E
You would know a good sandwich if it had smacked you in the mop.
A
Yeah, what do you know, you young little entitled bump.
C
I won't say it.
E
Guy was walking down the fairways by himself.
D
I like you inside.
A
I'll tell you. He was inside the paint.
C
So mad.
A
Thanks, Foxy. Like, I hated that I was here. Lana. I can't believe they let you in.
C
Oh, so many of those.
A
Oh, they let you in here. Yeah, it was a lot of that. I was like, yeah, a lot of that. A lot of good interactions of those things, you know, where there's like a one, pop, two pop. Now we're off and running. That was fun. Joining us now is a man who. I'll tell you what, I'm excited that we got to see him on the Internet. See a picture of him. He's got one of his super duper outfits on. This guy's king of fashion.
E
Coolest.
A
Nobody really respects what he's doing, but whenever he goes into his closet and puts something on, he's telling you what's in. Okay? It's not about you telling him what's in.
E
Bingo.
B
That's right.
A
He's thermostat, not a thermometer. He's setting the tone, okay? He's not telling what it is. He's got a fresh new fit on. They put him on. He speaks to the fans. Hey, don't get used to this. We're coming back. Cuts a Babyface promo and all I want to say is, this guy's fat ass. What?
K
Bull.
E
Who's saying that?
A
They're saying he's Fatso.
D
No, they got nicknames.
A
Yeah.
E
Another guy on the sheet who. That says, I'm coming.
A
Ladies and gentlemen, joining us now is the man who led the Indiana Pacers to Game seven of the Finals against Oklahoma City Thunder. Last year. He was on pace to score 75 points in a Game 7 of an NBA Finals and lead the Pacers to an NBA title. A. Torres Gillis. We've been on the road to recovery ever since. The Indiana Pacers have earned a lottery Pick. And he is on the mend to saving this town's basketball team back to its place that it should be, which is on top. Ladies and gentlemen, fatsos, the RNSs. Tyres Halbert called you fat.
H
What an intro, Fatso.
A
Yeah, but. But did you hear the whole game? Seven thing. 75 points, championship. You're gonna lose the Internet.
H
The rest of that was good. The rest of it was.
A
I'm just doing. Reporting, I think is what they call it in the world that we live in currently. I'm just telling you what was being said. They called you fat. I thought the fit was fantastic. I'd like to let you know that. So they asked me about the fit. Check with the eyeballs. Indiana Pacer social team, thank you for putting capital letters on T and H on Tyrese Halberton. I don't know why everybody else on the Internet's not doing it anymore, but I love. And that's not what they were talking about. Everyone's talking about you standing comfortably. Okay. Whoa. Somebody did this, Tyrese. Okay. And I don't like it. I was at the Masters, and I didn't see this until later. I feel like I would have went to your defense and said, this guy's not fat. Why are you guys killing this guy? Can you please give us a state of Tyrese Halliburton right now and also update the world on the incredible progress we've had on multiple fronts, both at the Achilles and also on the head, eye, entire thing. Please, Tyrese.
H
Yeah, so I'm going on. I'm going on eight weeks of shingles right now, face shingles, and I haven't been able to get rid of it. I've switched my meds, like, three times, and I've got a Botox injection. None of it has helped.
A
You do look good.
H
And the new meds. Side effect of the meds is that I'm always hungry and weight gain. So it's making me gain weight at. And you know, the problem is, I said when I did LeBron's podcast on mind the Game, I said, I'm the heaviest I've been right now. I'm bulking, I'm strong. I'm lifting all the time. This is good. And then face shingles hit me. And so now the bulking has turned into just fat. I'm just bigger for no reason. So now they're killing me on social media. I got. I've seen I'm being called Tyrese Halliburger.
A
I didn't see that one. That's the New one?
D
Yeah, saw Tyrese. Not good.
A
Oh, dude. You know, the Internet's gonna get you, though. I mean, it is. Let's talk about the. Can we talk about the eight weeks shingles on top of everything else? You talk about going through multiple medicines. I assume that's a scary situation, actually, because we've talked throughout the entirety. You were like on house arrest there for a little bit because of what shingles was. You weren't able to move much in the middle of an Achilles recovery in which that Achilles recovery was going well. Right. And then this kind of put a halt to a lot of things. I don't know how much you want to talk about. And I'm sorry, I probably just said too much. But this is the reality of the situation, I think.
H
Yeah, no, I was going to start playing 5 on 5 after All Star Break. That was the plan. And then shingles hit me. And so I was. Didn't go. I was at the house for two weeks. No workouts. I started working out again for like two weeks. And then after that, my eyes started swelling up and I was basically swollen shut from the shingles again. So I had to take another week and a half off before I revved back up. So now I'm just starting to. To play five on five now. So. Yeah, it's like. It's been. It's been trash. It's been trash.
A
Yeah. That sounds like an incredibly terrible run of luck. Okay. I want to let you know that I don't think you deserve it. I'm sorry that it's happening. Can you tell me about shingles? I don't think I know much about shingles. I thought 80 year olds got shingles right in this kind of like an older thing. Whenever you heard that, what was the thing and how much have you had to learn about this entire thing now?
H
Well, I thought Doc was joking when he told me I had shingles.
F
I was like, are you.
H
Are you like, he's playing with me? He's like, no, I'm dead serious. But I guess it's coming out more in people might like. Originally they said, yeah, it was 60, 70 year olds. That's why the vaccine for shingles is only for people over the age of 50 because they didn't even test. I don't think they tested younger people. And then so now they're saying more people younger are getting it from stress and other things. And so, like, you had to have chickenpox. I didn't have. A lot of people my age didn't get chickenpox we all got the vaccine, which obviously is the dormant virus so that it could come out in you later in life. So that's why I'm getting it now. And yeah, it's horrible. So I would advise anybody over the age of 50, I don't think any of you guys on the show are over the age of 50, to get the vaccine because this is trash. It's been horrible.
A
Yeah, that's. Honestly, thank you for like spreading that message. Me learning about you having it was an eye opener to me. I'm like, excuse me, I can. Can I get this thing? Because I think my dad had it and it was a long time painful and it's like sweat, I think, and everything is kind of an issue. So we want to let you know we appreciate the adversity that you're building up. Let's talk about where you are with the Achilles recovery. How much are you able to work? How much are you able to look at what Tatum's doing and know, like, okay, I can come back in a big way? Because I think there has been a little bit of a narrative about Achilles recoveries, especially in our sport. I think we talk about it, and I'd assume in your guys sport as well, that there is a little bit of a rollout post being cleared to an Achilles becoming like full speed again. It's normally a little bit of a stiffer start, a little slower start, and we don't know if that's necessarily a mental thing or it's actually the Achilles. Tatum's come out and gone crazy. Has that been a fart, a conversation you've been a part of and how do you feel with where you are right now?
H
Yeah, we're attacking it, man. I feel really good. It's like when I'm running or playing, I don't even think about it anymore. I know, like, when I'm playing, when I get done, I'm like, damn. I'm still like a step behind. But I feel. I mean, I feel good. I don't think about it anymore. I'm like doing everything, five on five, playing full, full go running, doing cardio, doing everything, honestly. So, you know, seeing Jason have so much success. Dejounte Murray also came back. Seeing those guys have so much success has been awesome. Jason and me talk pretty regularly, so I'm excited to see his run throughout the playoffs. You know, it's gonna be fun, fun to watch. And yeah, seeing him have so much success definitely makes me excited for, you
A
know, when I come back playing games start tomorrow On Amazon. How was the year? Did you do Amazon? I forget.
F
Yeah, I did.
H
I did.
A
I did.
D
I did.
H
I was a contributor for Amazon.
A
How was.
E
Was good.
G
It was good.
H
I talk hoop talk about recovery. Then my last one, they were like. We couldn't even talk recovery because I had shingles. So I was like, I don't know how much I could really update y' all right now, but no, it was good. I enjoyed it.
A
Recovery has actually had to become another recovery as well. Shingles? Yeah. You've never heard of a young player? It. I got it and eight weeks. A long time, dude. That's a long time. I actually think I'm.
H
I actually think I'm the first dude that. This is not documented, but I. We were trying to find another document in case anybody in the NBA have it. I think I'm like first guy in the NBA to have it. So.
A
Hashtag stat, I'm the test dummy.
D
I think couple refs.
A
Hey, dude, you're the right guy for it. Hey, you're the right guy for it. Come on. Come on, Tyrese. Let's keep it going. We need to get back to the finals around here. So you know what? I found myself really only paying attention to high level stuff as opposed to entire run, if that makes sense. When you were playing. This is me just being a human. I was obviously very in tune with what the Pacers were doing. Pacers also problem in east. So had to pay attention to kind of everything that was going on this year without the Pacers in it. You should be up for the MVP game seven of the finals. Now we're in the lottery. That's pretty valuable. That's not really what we talk about, but I've learned to myself, I'm trying to stay away from it because I don't want that to be my image of the Pacers. I don't want that to be. I don't want us to be losing. I don't want to be me wasting energy paying attention. So I've just been saying high level feels like players and NBA are going to have to figure something out about something that I guess has been talked about for a long time now around the league. Go ahead, con man.
D
Yeah, Tyrese, how do you feel about the 65 game thing? Obviously you missed the whole year, so it didn't really matter, but looking at some of the players, think Cunningham. I'm not sure if he missed out officially. Wemby towards the end, he almost missed out. There are some other guys that clearly didn't reach 65 games, but should be eligible for awards like where do you kind of stand on that? And also thank you for the great shoe collection. Now keep going with the Hallies. They are incredible shoes.
H
Yeah, appreciate that, Khan. No, I think it's interesting. I think, listen, the NBA had to do something because at the end of the day, fans and analysts and people who watch the game, they want the great players to play. And I get that. And we made the 65 game rule to get more players to play. And actually I was the first year of this rule coming into play. I don't know if you guys remember I hurt my hamstring that year. And you know that I was fighting to make all NBA to get a supermax contract. So I was one of the first guys kind of affected by this. And at the time I said, I think this is a dumb rule. And I had a meeting with Commissioner Silver, we talked about it. And I think that I understand from the league's perspective how we're trying to get players to play. And I think at the end of the day, guys want to play. Like, I don't think guys want to miss games, but I think this is a rule that will get adjusted going into next year because there's been so much conversation around it. Because I think at the end of the day there are certain guys that can play more games and miss it because of the minutes rule, which is also interesting. Like, I think there, something has to be done. I don't have all the answers. I'm not, I don't know if I'm smart enough to have all those answers because at the end of the day, if it's 60 games, there's going to be a guy who plays 59 games and he's not able to make it right. There's always going to be somebody who can't make it, can't make the rule. So I think at the end of the day, like you have to have people who are voting on these things of all NBA, they have to be able to have enough feel for those, for those things, for those awards. I think that's what makes the most sense.
A
Who votes on it? Is that a media driven thing?
H
It's a media driven thing. But you understand like if you, if you, if you miss this all in certain guys, if they miss making all NBA, they could miss getting their contract bumped up from a max to a Superman.
A
Yeah. What's the difference of that? Because media voting on something that can control how much of the money you think is that actually, do you know.
F
Yeah.
H
I think my contract, don't quote me on this. Somebody's gonna have to look it up. I think my contract at the time went like. If I was on a regular max, there was like 210. If I was supermax, it was 250 something.
A
$40 million on a media vote is crazy. And I get. We would be considered part of the media.
H
Yeah, I could be off on that maybe. And potentially maybe they need to make the rule that like the financial benefit isn't affected on it.
C
I don't know.
H
I don't have the. I don't have the answer. But something needs to change.
A
Yeah. Because there's always a predicament. You know, there's always going to be 65 games, guys got to play.
I
Ooh.
A
Actually actual injuries have had a couple of the big time guys that could be very affected by that. Nope, gotta be 65 games. Well, they actually have more minutes though than the people that are going to play like 775 because they played so much in the first games where they weren't injured. And it's like, whoa. No, it's not minutes, it's games they'll get you into. Well, let's drop it down. Well, okay, so we're dropping it down for these. Are we dropping it down? If this player has it. It's like a never ending dog chase tail there. So Adam Silver, we know you're smart guy. Good luck on this one, buddy. Figure it out now. Now I'm sick. I'm sick of not seeing the stars play.
B
Exactly.
A
Now if they're actually hurt, they need to at least walk out there, say hello to me, walk back in rehab. I would like to see that. It's an interesting. It really is. That's a fascinating thing. Go ahead, comment.
D
The salary cap differences for a max contract is 30%. For a supermax contract, it's 35% per year of the salary cap that that team has.
A
Okay. Of the salary cap difference.
D
Yeah.
A
And what's your salary cap at now? What you guys? Salary cap 195.
H
No clue. I wish I could tell you that answer.
A
You're the greatest. You're the absolute greatest. Last thing here as we move forward to playoff talk. Don't want to put you in a position to have to do that unless you would like to do that. There's a massive weekend coming up here, bud. Okay. As you see, the championship is already. This guy. Feels like wrestling again, doesn't it? It does. It feels like it's WrestleMania season because Randy Orton is The focal point now. We appreciate Cody. Just go ahead and understand the situation. Let me go ahead and take this so we can get a little comfortable with it.
D
Sure.
F
Happy about it.
A
What's that?
F
He doesn't look happy. That strap is sitting there.
A
What do you mean? Oh, yeah.
D
Is he Cody Crowder?
B
Yeah.
H
He's all, pat, I'm glad that you're holding the bell. Why would I be mad that my guy's holding the belt right now?
A
It's not about me, okay. It's about Randy Orton, obviously. Randy Orton. That's why I put on a shirt right there. That's why, obviously, we got this going on. It's about a man. That should be top of the card. And good news. WrestleMania Saturday night. Tickets on sale right now, 25% off, thanks to Ram Trucks. You can still come be a part of a one once in a century evening in Las Vegas. Very rarely does this happen in sports. You're going to be able to say, I was there.
B
Yeah.
A
This is going to be one of the ones you're going to want to say, I was there. There's a lot about to pop off. Darice. You want to pick the card here quickly. Who you think is going to win each match? Or are you trying not to get any heat, brother? And just saying everybody's going to do good. It's me in line.
H
You want me to pick every match from night one?
A
Yeah.
H
Okay. I got Liv winning the women's title match.
A
Congrats, Liv.
E
The baby Liv.
D
Really?
H
I got La Knight and the USO's winning the tag team match.
A
Oh, no. I show Speed. Wow. Speed's cursed.
H
Danhausen cursed Speed.
F
That's true.
A
I'll tell you what, that Danhausen thing needs to stay away. I do agree with that.
H
You need to stay away from Danhausen.
A
Don't you worry. I already got it figured out. Tyrese. Okay, thank you. Okay.
J
Thank you.
A
It's all figured out. It's all figured out. Danhausen. Let's stay away from that.
D
That dude.
A
Yeah, yeah, he's out there. Hey, he's a problem.
E
Yeah, he is a big problem.
D
Kind of love him, though.
H
I want to meet Danhausen. I hope I meet Dan.
A
No, you got shingles.
B
You might have already done.
A
All right, go ahead, please. Let's pick the rest of the thing.
H
Okay. Okay. I got A.J. lee beating Becky.
D
What the man.
A
I got.
H
I got Gunther beating Seth, unfortunately. Bad, bad day for the Rollins household.
A
I got.
H
Got Jacob Fatu. No, I got Drew McIntyre beating Jacob.
B
Remember? It's an unsanctioned match.
E
Yeah, first time ever.
D
Rules are rules. It's the word they're gonna be tonight.
H
Are they gonna fight in the back or something?
B
Maybe.
E
You don't know anything, Pipes.
A
You never know. I'll tell you what, those are. Two heavyweights. I like what those two are about.
E
Sin City street match.
A
Go ahead now. Do the match. Do the whole thing. Do the WrestleMania main event. The whole WrestleMania.
B
Wait, wait.
A
You've got.
H
You forgot the woman's tag match. Don't forget the woman's tag match match. Well, I got Bailey, Bailey and Lyra winning.
A
That's on me. It's 100% on me. Bailey and Lyra, that's good win. That's a good win. Love what you're talking about. Fatal 4.
H
And then the world title match. You know, Cody's my guy, but I have Randy winning that match.
I
Yeah, you do.
B
Boom. Better.
A
It's because you know, man. You know better. That's the right decision, Tyrese. You know, if Randy doesn't win and walk out of WrestleMania as a world champion, I'm gone forever from the wrestling world. And there's some people on the Internet saying, we need that. Shut up. You don't know what you need. You have no idea what you need. You're looking at it and you don't even know it. On that note, you're one of them, Tyrese. Have a good one.
F
What am I?
H
What do you mean?
E
You're an outsider, just like you're Putty Rhodes family. That's right.
D
I just picked you to win.
H
I just picked you and Randy to win. Why you got beef with me?
D
Just doesn't feel like you meant it.
E
Yeah.
A
Yeah. All right. I appreciate you. I will let you know I appreciate you. You can be out of mania.
H
I will be. Yeah.
A
Welcome to the Randy Orton Show, Paul. It's great. It's going to be great to have you. The business will appreciate you being contagious. Yeah. What do we. What should we do? How do we work with you? I wear sunglasses now.
H
Wait, how do you. What do you mean?
B
Wearing a bubble boy suit.
A
Yeah. What do we wear bubble wrap on the other side? Do we go back to the COVID thing?
H
Not contagious, brother.
A
Okay. Okay.
E
All right.
A
I'll look that up for sure. You're the man. You're the best. Can't wait to see you. How'd you catch it? Yeah. What happened? It just. From inside?
G
Yeah.
H
Yeah, from inside. I must have been stressed.
A
Stressed, yeah.
B
But I had chickenpox, so I have it. So if I come in contact.
D
Yeah.
A
But I had chickenpox, too.
E
Me too.
H
You're good, brother. Look it up. It's not contagious.
A
Oh, so that thing lives inside you and then just needs to get out at some point. And if you're a kid, it's chickenpox. And if you're over 50 or Tyrese Halliburton, it's shingles. Okay, I'm happy we. We learned that today. All right, you're the man. Keep battling. We appreciate the hell out of you. We'll see you in Vegas. Ladies and gentlemen, Ty Tal joining us now. Ladies and gentlemen, give us more scoop on everything happening around the NBA. Our friend, senior NBA insider at espn, Sham Sharanya. Yeah, Sh. Shams. Wow. You look cool.
K
I learned a lot about shingles and tyres. Albert. Prayers up to him, by the way.
A
Absolutely. He's been battling. We've been kind of. We've been in contact with him through it all. You know, he's been playing a lot of cards at the house because he wasn't able to leave for a long time. So, like, he wasn't able to leave the house because the entire. And I think there were some times where he couldn't see. I'm giving away too much. All right, we only got a couple minutes here as we head into the playoffs. Huge news. Doc Rivers fired. Now, are you. I don't know how I feel about this because I know you and Doc got a little bit of heat, and I know you've been covering this team for a long time saying some things are going to happen and there's a boiling point taking place. Now. People have said, sean, you're talking about this for years, okay? You're chasing a ghost. And they've continually done things that I think you were projecting them to not do. Maybe hang on the honest, keep them together. Now it feels like a domino falls. Is that how you view this? How do you view this entire situation?
K
Yeah, I mean, I haven't really been talking about Giannis and Tata Campo in Milwaukee for years. I started reporting on it last May. This has been like an 11. We were now at 11 month saga that's been going on between Giannis and the Bucks. And so. So listen, I just report the news. I just document the news. And so the truth can hurt sometimes. 100%. I stand by my reporting to the 10th degree, like, 100%. The reality of the Bucs situation is this is. Giannis in his camp informed the Bucks last May that he was ready to part ways. He was ready to move on. The time had come after 12 years together that we all had to move on. But John Horst, the general manager of the Bucs, and Doc Rivers, the head coach, they wanted to continue to keep him and contend. They felt like they had the roster to compete in the Eastern Conference. They thought this team was going to be a contender. And then they go out and get Miles Turner, you wave and stretch Damian Lillard. And so you add all those factors together and it's been a clear miscalculation of the situation. Giannis was very clear in his private meetings with the Bucks. He felt this roster wasn't good enough. He had serious doubts about the roster. And so, listen, in a lot of ways, he was proven to be right. The season played out the way it played out. I think everyone in the NBA knows exactly what's going on in Milwaukee. I think most people in the world know exactly what's going on right now in Milwaukee. And so we're kind of similar where we were last year as far as Giannis, as far as last summer, where the Bucs will get a bunch of calls, they're going to get a bunch of offers. They already went through negotiations for Giannis in February. As far as trade talks, they're probably going to revisit a lot of those same conversations with teams like Minnesota and Golden State and Miami and the Knicks. We'll see how the playoffs shake out. That's going to have a big, big part in all this. But listen, the reality of everything in Milwaukee is this. If they spent as much time dealing with their own internal dynamics and problems as they do responding to accurate reports, they wouldn't be in the mess that they're in right now on doing the job at the highest of levels that I possibly can.
A
Okay, so Doc leaves you spit a bar that you've been thinking of saying for a long time right now about,
K
I got one more for you. I got one more for you. All right, so I watched some documentaries from time to time. I saw one on Fyre Festival, right? And so the part we're at now is when you know everyone wants to run and you're doing the COVID up, and again, it's totally fine. I'm just here to document and cover it the right way. And I feel like we've done an unbelievable job tracking everything. And at the end of the day, the last month and a half, we've seen it. The player in Giannis has been feuding with his own team about whether he can play or not. He wants to play. He feels he's cleared to play. He told the NBA, he told the nbpa, the union, that he's healthy and can play. They felt that the Bucs did not want to clear him. And my understanding is Giannis was told that it's upper management's decision not to allow him to play. And so how that plays out, the NBA is still looking into the situation. We'll see what comes of that or doesn't come of that.
A
In a year filled with tanking problems for the NBA, now you got one of its biggest stars coming out, saying, it's happening.
K
I didn't play. I'm healthy. But I've been shut down for multiple weeks by my team because my team wants to position the draft lottery.
A
I guess the person for the Milwaukee Bucks who has to tell Giannis he's not playing, whoever that is, you know, whether it was Docker or whatever the case was, that person is kind of like the water person for Fyre Fest.
K
Well, he's the messenger.
A
That's the worst job.
D
That guy was ready to risk it all.
A
Exactly. Whoever was telling Giannis was like, listen, I'll do it. I'll do it. I guess if it needs to be done, I'll be the one that'll go stand in front of the Greek freak and tell him that, nah, you're not playing when he wants to play. You need that person reach deck to that. You need that person in Fyre Fest. Had it, needed that.
B
They did. They needed water at the event.
A
Yeah. So if we're going, at the end
K
of the day, you needed someone to step up in a position of leadership to say this is the right thing for the organization. This is the approach we're going to take. But listen, John Horse and Doc Rivers believe this was a contending team, that this was a good team. Giannis told them last summer, no, it's not. I think we need to move on. They made the decision that we're going to keep everything together again. That's on them. Them keeping Giannis has nothing to do with what I've been reporting. I've reported that he is ready and prepared for a move. I reported that they're listening to trade offers and negotiating with teams. Both things happen. They didn't end up trading him in this at the deadline. We'll see what happens this summer.
A
We appreciate your coverage of everything. What should we look at for playoffs? Are Lakers going to be healthy? Obviously. Them being prime time on Saturday night, people are a little bit up in arms over the Denver game. Getting up in There because of the. The quality of basketball versus just LeBron James's potential. Last run with the Lakers being prime time selection. What are the storylines for this weekend and also the playing games that we need to know in about a minute and a half or so.
K
Shams, just brutal injuries for the Lakers, right? They were soaring. They were the number three seed in the Western Conference. And then in the span of 24 hours, Luka Doncic, Grade 2 hamstring strain. Austin Reeves, Grade 2 oblique strain. They missed the last, I believe, five or so games of the regular season. And the expectation around the Lakers both will be out out to start the first round this weekend. And so you're playing this first round. Basically, LeBron James is your number one option. This is a guy that went from averaging 20 points, five, you know, six, seven assists, six, seven rebounds that. I mean, the last three games that he's played, he's averaging 26, 11 and seven. We're seeing his touches go up, his scoring is going up, everything's going up, up. But Luka Doncic, he spent the last week in Spain, from my understanding, the majority of time in Spain. He underwent multiple injection treatments in that hamstring to see if. Can he promote quick healing, can he promote, you know, an expedited return a lot, in a lot of ways for him to be back. My understanding is he'll be back in the States on Tuesday and then they're going to reevaluate him. Austin Reaves, he's out for majority of this first round series. Most likely. Probably the earliest for him is going to be that first week of May. So they have a tall task now facing Houston in this first round.
A
Okay, we appreciate you joining us, Shams. We can't wait for prime time. NBA playoff time. We are thankful for you. You look incredible today, Buck. Yeah, very. You're the man. Laser dumb. I mean, he cut a couple, but he said, I got another bar. I thought of far fest Doc.
F
Remember I didn't know where he was going with that.
A
Me neither.
D
Yeah, I thought he's going with the jaw rule.
E
We went exactly where it needed.
A
Yeah. The person that has to that offered up, I'll go tell y'. All honestly ain't playing. That's a tough job.
D
Impossible.
A
Need somebody to do it.
F
I don't know. I don't think you do.
E
Well, you weren't.
A
It depends on a sit. Yeah, Depends on the sitch. We're certainly looking. If we're not, let's get to a break, please. Okay. On the other side, we got incredible sports talk, including a lot of NFL stuff happening. Adam Scheffer will join us. Be a friend. Tell a friend something nice. It might change their life. See on the other side, You're sitting at a red light or stuck in traffic and your phone lights up. Maybe it's a text, a video call, a new post, or a quick notification you think you can check in a second. It feels harmless. But the truth is, once your eyes

leave the road, you're not really driving anymore.

And traffic doesn't pause just because you do. That split second of distraction can throw off everything. Your reaction time, your awareness, your ability to avoid someone else's mistake. You could damage your car, injure yourself, or hurt someone you care about. Or you could get pulled over for a reminder that your phone isn't worth the risk. Are the absolute greatest. We're so incredibly lucky that we get a chance to cover it every single day. Thank you for allowing us to do as such. We love sports and this weekend was certainly a showcase of competition in sport, bringing the world together while also showcasing absolute greatness as Rory McIlroy goes back to back at the Masters for the first time since Tiger woods did it in 2002. Now the return of the McIlroy is a big deal because he's kind of a heel. Yeah, I didn't play in the first place. Three tournaments leading up to the Masters. Now historically people like to talk about playing up to the tournament as being a big time gear up for the Masters. Normally if you win a tournament before the Masters, you would go on to win the masters instead. Rory McIlroy, after winning his first ever green jacket a year ago and potentially Having the weight of the world off of his shoulders and already being an established top golfer in the history of golf. Took a bunch of tournaments off, traveled up to Augusta from his home in Florida, put his daughter to school, went up there, played 36 holes a day, learned the course inside and out. Now, everybody that's in golf that knows about that says, this guy might win it every single year because of how damn good he is and how perfect the course is for how he golfs. Obviously, he can strike it. The guy's outrageous. He wasn't even playing his best golf. Andy Nor said, he's sequencing off. His timing is off. He. He got a good range session in, and it seemed like he kind of starting timing it up a bit, but he's been. He's been winning this thing wire to wire, and he hasn't really played good. So if he wakes up on Sunday and plays good, good, he's going to. Well, he had to battle. He actually lost the lead. There's people getting into it. Scheffler was going absolutely bananas. The leaderboard was all over the place. There was. Aha. How about Hatton? Unbelievable.
B
He hoed it.
A
He really did. Yeah, he really did. And he started climbing all of a sudden. Wait a minute. How about Lee?
B
Yeah,
E
he found parts of that course a lot of people have never been on.
A
Yeah. Like, if we were to play that course, it would be like how he had to play that course yesterday. And this is why golf is just so incredibly hard, I guess, because this is, what, a centimeter off whenever he drove something, and then this is where he ends up, and all of a sudden, you're punished forever. You know, it's a little different between us playing up here in a sim and then playing in real life. If I hook one left on a sim, I'm certainly going to think to myself, well, all right, this is Anna Bush, and I'm going to hit that thing clean. Whenever you are in a terrible position and you can be one from six inches away from each other, you can be completely blocked by tree or have a little bit of a window. And with how talented these guys are, they can kind of shape it through any field goal, upright if they have it. But at Augusta, there's a chance that you don't have that. And then there's a chance that that ball is rolling all the way into the water because how fast the damn greens are. Whenever you think about that day, there was a chance Rory was going to have a catastrophic meltdown, and they were going to say, oh, no, Rory's never going to be able to win this again. Because that was the story before he won the first. It was like, he's never going to be able to win this. And then he won it. And then like now he's free. Now he's free. Well, if you have a meltdown Saturday and Sunday at the Masters, historic one, especially with, you know, a massive stroke lead, they're going to talk about you not being able to win it ever again. Forever. He was up against a lot. There's a lot of chatter about his life. There was a lot of things getting taken, ways that were negative. There's a chance that his legacy would become one, that he's not going to be able to win it again, which is outrageous because of how successful he is. And he just fought, man, and he just started battling and he started winning and he wins for I think himself and that country club of his back in Northern Ireland. Yeah, Hollywood. They were having a good time back there. The lads were packed in pretty good.
E
Yeah?
A
Oh yeah, packed in pretty tight. I saw them a lot slugging pints. Yeah, there was, there was pints of Guinness there. They would go past split in a G and they just go ahead and down that thing. And then as the day continued to went double bogey. Ho, ho, oh, oh, come on, Roy. You know they're making that thing disappear. Then all of a sudden we get a birdie on seven. Then we start heating up for the back and. Or the second. Sorry. And the boys over there are having the time. Slanta, slauncha, slauncha. And then all of a sudden Roy McElroy saying, I'm getting pretty boozed up tonight. Yeah, good for him, good for Augusta. Put on an incredible tournament. Good for golf. Having a Sunday that was certainly a spectacle and something that kicks off golf season in a huge way. Kicks off spring for the South. I heard that. I think we all kind of feel that way. Like, okay, now it's officially like warmer weather season. So what a beautiful time to be alive. We're thankful for it. NBA play in games are tomorrow night. NBA first rounds this weekend. NFL draft is right around the corner. WrestleMania is this weekend. We're going to be good. The toxic tables here at Boston Conner and at Ty Schmidt, one half of the Hammer Cowboys. AP Tone is here. Nine year NFL vet Darius J. Butler is here. They look fantastic.
D
Thank you. Yes.
F
Sunday. Rick. Rooting for you, Tiger.
E
Hell yeah.
F
Love you, Tiger.
A
Good luck, Tiger.
E
Miss you, Tiger.
A
You are ass at driving.
F
Yep.
A
Okay. You're a great Golfer, you're a great inspiration to future athletes. You're a legend, brother. You are ass at driving, maybe worse. Stop driving. And on that note, pulling for you, brother.
E
That's right, brother.
A
Is as if we know him. We do not. We are just saying in the sports world, we are certainly pulling for him to be back as a icon, which is exactly what he is, and he should be viewed that way, but he needs to stop driving. And joining us now, ladies and gentlemen, live from an attic in Ohio, is a college football national champion, super bowl champion, Ryder cup winner, A.J.
F
hall.
A
Paco, I know you got a chance to experience the Masters a few years back. You got lost for eight hours, kind of just moseyed around, found a cigar, kind of did your thing. I could see how that would happen. And I could also see how you probably had an incredible time doing it. Felt like a trip back in time. Also feels like it's back in time because Rory is just becoming this oh, tiger wearing red on Sunday type character where they think he's about to go on an absolute slaughter mission at this place. It was fun to be down there. Fun to watch. Great day of golf. What are your thoughts, AJ it was
I
awesome to watch, I think even if you're not a big golf fan at all, like, I'm. I'd say I'm a. A. I'm above casual golf fan. I. I can recognize guys. I know a lot of different golfers. I know of them. I'm fans. But I feel like every situation where you thought Rory could wilt and, you know, piss this one away and lose it, he kind of stepped back and he made a play and he made a big shot whenever he needed. He never let it get too far away. And credit to him, man. It was an awesome thing to watch all day Sunday.
A
I loved the being AJ did you know it was as hilly as it is? This thing. I don't know how. You're a fat golfer. I'm gonna say it. Well, I don't know how you're.
I
And I thought walking an incline is like one of the biggest fat burners they tell you to do. That's what, like, the old man workout is to walk in an incline on a treadmill.
A
I don't know how they do it. It's like whenever we went out to the American Century Classic and we're golfing and we're walking that thing, it's like my. Hey, yeah, yeah, right, Dude. I feel like I'm in pretty good shape. And it was like blister the feet get beat up quick. The feet get beat up quick because you're not used to walking like that. But it's like. Like, this is a great. We're dripping in sweat walking around this place. I. I mean, just absolutely getting after it. The golfers having to perform four straight days. Andy north brought this up. Four. Four straight days. You got to be able to be at your highest level. That's why if somebody dominates from beginning to end, you just have to tip of the cap. Because it's outrageous that you were able to master the Masters for four consecutive days. It'd be like if a football game had a first quarter on one day, second quarter on the second day, third quarter on third day, and then fourth quarter on fourth day. And Andy north was trying to bring me into the conversation. I'm like, don't worry about me, bro. I just gotta punt. Probably one time in each of those. I probably gotta do something. Sometimes you talk about me, but you're talking about actual football players. Yes. Cause he talks about how you wake up, you know, sometimes. I don't know, Kids screaming all night. Okay. They had bad food. They're pooping all night.
D
How tong Lee.
A
So you. Exactly.
D
It was Thursday night.
A
Had the whole thing. You never know. And you gotta wake up. Body muscle, just a little tiny muscle tweaked on Friday that wasn't on Thursday night. How about grass and weather Friday morning versus Friday afternoon? Which obviously Scotty talked about. The way he broke down golf was really cool for me to listen. It's like, yeah, it's a marathon, this thing, brother. So if you're able to battle through it all and continue to dominate, especially on the second hand, that's why Scottie Scheffler is so good for golf. He was 12 back going into the weekend, and then he ended up within one. He said, I think that's a pretty good weekend. I don't like the way I started. He said, and I'm. I like that Scotty's talking a little bit more. I like it. Scotty's going, I. I don't know how that. I wish I would have played in the afternoon on Friday. That would have been great. I started the weekend 12 back. I ended up one back. I think that's pretty good. It's like, that's kind of what Scotty's known for. Scotty's just known for, you know, moving day is normally Saturday. If he is in, it's like he is maybe going to catch. Always coming, always lurking.
B
Yeah, Literally always lurking.
A
Always. Because he's Four holes away from potentially six strokes down. And it's like he has the capability of doing that. I'm happy he did that for us this weekend. I'm happy Rory had to fend him off. I'm happy Cam Young came in and watching that leaderboard down there. A.J. how about how electrifying that is?
I
Oh, yeah. That's like our people. They're all standing there, right, Waiting for them to flip it, and then all of a sudden, they start cheering or boo and doing whatever they do.
A
I felt like such an asshole. Me and Foxy are sitting there with our beers. Shout out. Michael from Stanford and UPenn. He snagged a beer for us. Big shout outs. Can only do two.
E
Stanford and UPenn.
A
Yeah, big. A lot of them. You got the corpo people who are. And then you got the people. Yeah, the Southerns, who are like, this is the greatest place on Earth. So it's like you kind of all fall in there. But as we were kind of sitting there watching it all come together, and we're watching the play, the play in front of us, it's like, one hole can change everything.
B
Oh, yeah.
A
One hole can change every. You. Rory doubles that thing. He goes from a 12 to 10 on that leaderboard. All of a sudden you got massive Cam Young fans, like, four or five rows behind us. Like, come on, Cam. Like, it was.
E
Rosie was doing it then during.
A
Yeah, it felt like it was the old day. Like, it literally felt like I was in the. The old days when, like, little portions of fans. And then you would. You would hear the Irish lads. Damn. You know, like, as they're watching them go down. It was. It was so cool. It was like, such a cool experience. But the leaderboard changing was crazy. And then the drastic moves were just like, oh, like belly. Oh, it's like it was. It was a spectacle. Lucky to be there. Thankful to be there. I. I don't do a lot of cigar smoking. I know you do. So I was just trying to, like, do what I. You do in there. How often am I supposed to hit that thing? How long is that thing supposed to last? Feel like I had these things for way too long. Felt like I had to light them a couple different times. We didn't have a good color cutter, so I was putting a T into it or a pencil in the back. It was a little bit loose. I don't think I did it right at all. And where am I? Am I allowed that? What do we do with the ashes? Because the stuff I smoke, ash Is actually going to disappear these ashes. You guys got some thick.
B
Oh yeah.
A
You guys got some thick ashes in there, man. Where am I supposed to put these things?
I
Were you outdoors? I hope you're outdoors. I mean, you could find places to ash outdoors. If not, you gotta have an ashtray.
A
It was tough. I'm saying scars. Tough life.
C
I took two puffs and gave up.
A
Up.
D
That's cuz you're a wolf.
C
Those things.
A
How do you do that?
I
Well, you probably. Probably had some. Some old rich guy give you some big heavy, dark cigar that most people do not like. That's what I.
C
We were told they were very nice cigars.
A
Yeah, we were obviously told it's the best of the best.
F
Two puffs and tossed it.
A
I did not do that. Everybody understands that. I did not do that. I would not like to be associated with the person that was me. He left that thing right on. Ashtray too. It looked like a baseball bat.
D
Yeah.
A
And I got the people walking by saying, who's the Jesus who did that? How. How? It's a good one, Foxy. Ban him. Ban him. People talk about Sergio Garcia needed to be kicked out. Do we have a guy on right now? Okay, ladies and gentlemen, join us now. He's not gonna be happy about how long we just talked about. We apologize that we waste this time. I didn't hear Bruce. First time Bruce said he was on. Got into a good Augusta discussion. There we are. People that were not supposed to be here say that to.
D
Don't say that.
F
Don't.
B
Don't.
D
Shut up.
A
If that's real. Don't ever say that again. Bartender told me because I. We walked in, we had no idea where to go. We're like, hey, we have. We're not supposed to be here. Like, where. How is this kind of all go? Don't say that.
B
I don't say that.
A
Basically. And if that's true, we kind of have to report. I don't know.
D
They will try.
I
Put him in a bad spot.
D
Yeah, he will never leave.
A
So then another bartender came over. I think that particular bartender, or knew maybe what the situation was, Dropped a full cool two masters napkins down and goes, can't believe they let you in here, boys. And we're like, yeah, we were just talking about it with this buddy right here, you know, it's great to see you. What are we supposed to do here? What are we supposed to do? He goes, you go out that door. And then it's just all there. And we're like, all right. And we walked out there blind. And it was all there and we saw it all. We went down to Amen corner.
C
Oh, yeah.
A
Beer's right there.
E
Oh, love that.
I
That be your ease in those nice cups, too. Don't they taste great out of the.
D
In those nice Greek beer hit different this weekend.
A
They did. It was a great weekend for beer. I will say more Miller Cor is mostly sure if Rockies are blue.
E
Yeah.
A
Joining us now, ladies and gentlemen, once again. We did it again. This is so rude of us. You. Hey, we understand if you're not happy, but we're a little bit giddy about what happened this weekend. You get to experience it all the time, I would assume, especially because of who you are. Senior NFL Insider at espn. Ladies and gentlemen, Michigan man, Adam Schefter.
F
Of course.
A
Oh, hey, guys. How's it going, guys? Is that what you're saying? Schefter right there with the Augusta national little hoodie there.
J
There we go. I sent you. Look at the picture I sent you, Pat.
A
All right.
I
Teeing off with Jack Nicklaus.
D
Long shots.
A
Oh, wow. Zoom in on. Can I. Yeah, I can. Obviously. I don't know. Am I allowed to. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. This is Chef. They're not me showing this photo.
J
Yeah.
A
Is it auto tuning here? Go, Josh.
I
Is he with Blocky?
B
Of course not.
D
You'd be so lucky.
J
The man. The man.
A
Chef to you and Rory tight or what's the deal?
J
That was last year when I had the honor of following him and Keegan at the Travelers. And that was the two guys.
A
Right.
J
And after the round, I got to spend a little bit of time with both those guys, take some pictures. It was awesome.
A
I forgot you were a golf analyst there for alternative.
B
Yeah.
A
What you say you want to do it again or they said, all right, like, you going to do that again? Or how was that in that world? And how did you. What did you think of the Masters this past weekend?
H
I.
J
Well, I love doing that last year and I love watching the Masters. The Masters to me, always is. I mean, it's timeless. It's the same holes every single year. The storylines change. It's unbelievable to watch these guys. And I just love the time of the year that it is because it signifies that we're finally in spring, we're getting ready for the NFL draft. It's just. I love the event every year, and it was great yesterday. Congratulations to Rory McElroy for doing it again. He was awesome, man.
A
You just. You kind of look down at your phone on your team level service. You're Keeping up with the leaderboard, you know?
B
Sure.
A
You're having a nice Miller Kors, nice
B
pole, going over doordash, maybe ordering Buffalo
A
Wild wings, medium wing. I'm doing it all. Oh, it is great. It is great. Making some pot. Steiner Bergmans. You know, it did feel like I was at a super Corpo event with people that were there.
J
Have you gone down there, Pat?
A
All right, enough. That's it. So with the conversation we're having right now, we're having this conversation.
J
Have you been there? Have you been there?
A
No.
I
He was there yesterday, Chef.
A
Oh, okay. Well, I thought we didn't know what we were going to do there. I'm trying to.
J
That place is unbelievable. You gotta go.
A
All right, I will.
D
You know what?
I
I'm gonna get an idea.
A
I'm actually gonna do this. Call somebody. I can't wait. It's not easy to get in, though, Shefty. Like, I don't think that's just something I just get to walk right into. I think there's a lot of things. I think there's a lot of things that had to happen for, like, you to be able to get there. Right. Don't you think that's kind of a part of it?
J
It's called buying a ticket, Pat.
A
Okay. I didn't know it was just that easily accessible. We will actually, won't we, foxy?
C
We have to win the raffle. Sh. Shefty. And then you get a chance to go, but you might not win the raffle. And then you wait till next year.
A
See, that's the thing. She just got in. Because he's an elite. I know. Okay, Michigan man. Michigan man. So one of his friends, he's probably a green jacket.
D
Yeah.
A
And I'll tell you why. When you walk in a room, from my understanding, you can feel the green jackets. You gotta see them.
I
How would you know?
F
Champions just hanging around.
A
From what I've been told. Oh, the green jackets, they're kind of amongst. In that they're kind of like almost working the event from what minor things.
J
Right. I believe, and I could be wrong, I'm pretty sure this is right, that every member of the club has to work that event every year. So, like, when I went down there, I remember certain people, I don't know if you're allowed to even talk about, they were wearing green jackets. And, you know, you bump into people.
A
It's kind of funny, that Shafter talking on me. Let's remember that. Okay, John, I would like to record state that.
J
That this chapter, Pat, it's elite to play the I've never played the course. Never played the course. But I've been to masters events and it's like adult Disney World. It's outstanding. It's awesome.
A
Adult. That's what I've heard. I can't wait. I'll tell you what, I like actual Disney World, too.
D
Yeah.
A
Now, granted, whenever you are an it's a much different experience. You know, whenever they're Disneyland, Disney World. It's crazy, that whole thing. But yeah, I love it all. Okay, so. So we'll try to get down there. We'll try to get next year later next year. We'll try to get down there. Chef, let's talk about some things that happen over the weekend in the football world. Most notably, okay, Travis Hunter allegedly going to one side of the ball. Okay, we are officially turning Travis Hunter into defense player and then maybe have a little bit of a package on the offensive side that was reported by your peer ian Rapaport, posting ESPN links as to become 1 in the NFL Network ESPN world. Obviously, we're pumped up about that. We know rap, we know you and rap will have an incredible relationship. But on that note, Travis Hunter immediately responds, goes now, who told you this, huh? Who's saying all this? And then there was a response from, you know, basically the gang, a response from the game that was like, hey, young buck, tell you Jefferson response. They told him that. Okay, they say told you yet, rook? Welcome to the league, kid. So Tony Jefferson with an outstanding OG tweet right there.
F
Been around for a while, which is
A
basically the game, by the way. And you insiders know that you more than anybody, obviously, in this entire game, you will know stuff way before players will know it, way before agents would even know it. Somehow that's how your sources kind of work. That's kind of the game. I remember playing for the Colts and being at practice and then getting out of practice, looking at my phone and something was broke from two minutes before that. I'm like, how's the whole world? Who. How is this? They know you know. Can you tell me what you know about this particular situation and the conversation as a whole? Because this was going to be. And from our source says the Bronze were going to draft Travis Hunter, I believe, as well. I believe Travis Hunter was going to be drafted number two overall to the Bronze. If the Jags hadn't made a massive trade, how would that have looked with the Bronze versus what it was going to be talked about? When Stoner told us about changing the mold of football as A whole down there in Jacksonville when they trade, everything like that. What are your thoughts on the situation? What do we know right now? Schefter as I wait. Way to elaborative response to inform people what the hell's going on.
J
As you await your master's invitation, here's what I would say about Travis Hutchins right now. It's middle of April and there's a lot of ways this can go. But here's the way that I expect it to go right now. He is going to have his his snaps at cornerback spike this year. So it was 162 snaps on defense last year. Year 324 nothing. He's still going to play offense too. The difference this year is just that they lost Greg Newsom in free agency to the New York Giants. They traded Tyson Campbell during the year for Greg Newsom. Greg Newsom leaves in free agency to go to the New York giants. They have 11 draft picks, including four on day two. So the Jaguars are going to be very active on day two of the draft here. Maybe they'll draft another cornerback, maybe they won't. But I can tell you that the plans are to use him at wide receiver again, just the way they did last year, and to have his spike snap at the cornerback position. And that's why they gave up all the picks to go get Travis Hunters to have the luxury to be able to play him at both slots. And if you need him at a certain spot, you can insert him at that spot. They need him now at cornerback. They lost a good cornerback in free agency. So Travis Hunter is going to play a lot more cornerback, but he's going to continue playing wide receiver just like he did last year.
A
Okay, we like that. Just like he did last year would imply that there would be a little bit more than just a couple packages. We've seen guys play on both sides of the ball, including but not limited to Pac Man Jones. I believe he played special teams as a return. I don't think he ever fair cut, obviously was a corner in the NFL for like 14 years or something. I forget what it was. And then he also had offensive shit because of how elusive he was. I believe Devin Hester had similar packages. I think there was. Although Devin didn't play on defensive side of the ball. I guess that would not count.
D
Yeah, Marcus Jones right now kind of does for New England. He'll play offense, get a catch, a couple bubble screens, then he returns punts and kicks.
A
Julian Edelman did it for a little Charles Woodson Charles Woodson did it for.
I
Did it for a little bit. Mike Brable cut some touchdowns.
A
J.J. watts. So we have seen, like, the elite athletes in the past go on both sides, but if you're saying it's going to be similar to last year, I think everybody was expecting that was a little bit more than what was expected. And if he continues to grow into both roles, that'd be dope. But, man, it's going to be hard to believe that the body's going to be able to do it, but I know he is considered a guy that never gets tired, in better shape than everybody else. And it's like the body, if it can hold up, sweet, can the mental as well. They say he's high football iq. It's like, do we still believe that it's possible after he gets hurt in year one whenever everybody thought he couldn't? I hope that there's somebody that's standing by it a little bit. And it sounds like you're saying the Jags are still very open to the opportunity of him playing best. Yeah, that's D. But your thoughts getting
F
hurt, that's gonna happen regardless of what position you play. You're going to get hurt in the NFL. That's. That's a foregone conclusion. But the mental part of it for me, like, the game is so tough week to week, and, you know, you have to game plan and you can have a certain route, but that's going to change depending on coverages, depending on how they're playing those coverages. And same thing on defense. If we're going up against, you know, Jamar Chase or Justin Jefferson or C.D. lamb, one of these receivers, like these quarterbacks, you have certain game plans that change on third down, red area, two minutes. So so many different things that you have to do. That's why so many older players came out and say, look, he can't do this. I don't care how good he is, how talented he is, is he can't do this. And then from the Jaguar standpoint, at what point do you say, okay, we have to just put him full time on one side to get a return on our investment before we have to make another decision to pay him a ton of money. So I'm interested to see how it plays out physically. I think you handle both ways. For me, it's more so the mental aspect of it. So I'm all for putting him 90% on one side of the ball, and then because he is so dynamic, you know, figure out, you know, get the ball in his hands four or five times times a game.
A
Go ahead, Shefty.
J
I don't think he's going to play less wide receiver. I don't think he's going to play less but he's going to play a lot more at cornerback.
H
Okay.
A
Okay. And you look at their defense, Chefy, we put together a potential of their defense and obviously they have the chance to add two great pass rushers.
F
Y.
A
Okay. On the outside, inside stout. And then now at corner, if you're able to get locked down in defensive area, it's like the Jags could, you know. Hey, I don't like it because the Colts are AFC south kings. Good ball club last year we just hadn't won the crown a long time.
B
Sure.
D
When's last time? Recently.
A
It's been more than a decade.
F
On to new year.
E
Like 10 years. Decade or is different like you guys say something different right here for a decade.
A
Yeah. More than 10 years. I think it's been 11 or 12. But it ain't about that.
D
It's a decade plus.
A
Okay. It ain't about that. Houston, Texas are a good football team. Jacksonville Jaguars feels like they're actually. They're playing in Orlando too. You know what I mean? Whenever you have to play somewhere other than your home stadium, it's like kind of ass, right? It's normally not good. Orlando is awesome.
B
Yeah.
F
Beautiful city.
A
Orlando is. And the stadium is the perfect size. It'll. It'll definitely. It's going to be like perfect for that.
E
Titans are yodeling.
D
Titans are better than the Colts now too.
A
No, sir, thank you.
D
They've won a division title this deck.
A
All right, let's. Let's talk about the Colts. Go ahead, Ty.
B
Yeah, speaking of the Colts, chefs, you reported over the weekend that the Colts. Colts and Kenny Moore have kind of mutually agreed. Hey, we need to find a trade partner. You know, this is a good run, but it's over. What's the latest on that situation and if this is going to happen, how quickly do you think we'll see Kenny Moe with a new team?
J
I think that you always see a slew of moves made draft weekend. Like to me it wouldn't surprise. Day two, day three. We saw Kenny Moore dealt at that point in time to a team that. That likes him, that didn't get a slot cornerback that it wanted that comes up in the last day. Like you always see moves like that made around the draft. So I think that's the first and next window to see a Kenny Moore trade here. Day three or so. And look, it's out there. People know that he's available, and it sounds like he and the Colts have had very amenable conversations. They're both on the same page here. And it's only question now where he's sent to during the draft.
A
I would guess amenable is certainly a good way to describe those conversations. If you were to use another word instead of amenable, you would say. No, Amiable.
J
Amenable. Amenable or amenable.
A
You said those are two different words. I don't know. To be honest, I don't know what either of them mean. I didn't know if you were saying amicable. I don't know if you were saying what is amenable?
J
Well, I don't know here. Amenable and amicable. Amenable. Like there's. There's a lot of options here.
A
I'm talking to your words. I'm trying to figure out. I'm trying to figure out what you said Michigan, man. Okay. I'm trying to figure out your big brain. You said Kenny and the Colts have had some amenable conversations.
E
Does that mean amenable is open to suggestions?
J
Amicable.
A
Hey, hold on, though. Amenable is open to suggestions, so they probably.
J
They're both amenable. Applicable conversations.
H
Exactly.
A
I think this would be amenable, potentially. Someone open to suggestable. No, but amenable, too. You never know. Hey, you know, the whole thing.
E
Sound like you're from London.
A
Yeah. Hello, Governor. It's always fun. Whenever you could do that. Chin up, mate. Whenever you say amenable and amicable and everything you're saying, they both understand that they're done. Basically. This is kind of one of those situations. Yeah.
J
Yeah. Here's a very basic way for me to say what I was trying to say when I came off like the moron that I am. They're on the same page here, Pat. They're on the same page.
A
We are the morons, not you, brother. Don't you worry about anything of that. Okay? So, Kenny Moore, we would like to say thank you for your service. Indianapolis. He showed up here. He balled out. He had great moxie. He represented the Colts very well in the community. He's beloved here in Indianapolis, and celebration is sweet. I mean, Kenny. Kenny Mo is beloved here in Indianapolis. So if him and the organization have the similar feeling as the city and he have, it's just like, hey, thank you for everything. Obviously, just hasn't worked. Maybe we get a positive outcome for you. That's Good. I appreciate that that's happening. We will miss Kenny Mo though.
I
Yeah.
A
Oh, yeah. I mean, let's not came to the old office. Yeah, we lost.
E
Hey, Kenny's gone leaders.
A
That's what I'm saying. Kenny is. I thought Kenny was great on the field.
F
He reset the market. I believe he became one of the highest paid slot corners when he signed his last deal. And then obviously on the football field. Nine years here. Unbelievable time space as an undrafted free agent. And then off the field, he's been great in the community as well. Walter Payton, man of the year. Just, you know, we got nothing but great things to say about Kenny. He's got a lot of good football left.
A
Good luck, Kenny.
D
Look at him. Kenny.
A
I don't love that. That's just, you know, wants to win.
D
A lot of guys are jumping ship. Kind of gotta respect it.
A
Respect what?
D
How much can you take? You know, hey, nothing's changing around here. I guess I'll just get me out of here.
A
No, it was amenable. Okay, let's talk about. About amenable things. That is a team and their draft prospects. We're getting close, Very close. Oh, yeah. Obviously Wrestlemania is this weekend and then the draft, the NFL draft is next week. Dreams are going to come true, lives are going to change and potentially pillar players are going to land in their homes forever. Cannot wait for that. Let's go to some convos around that entire thing. Next Thursday night live from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Cannot wait to be there live. Shrags and Diggs will be in their trailer of brain. Trailer. I love that. That's what Brainer. The football brailler. The Brainler.
B
Yep.
A
The football Brainler.
D
Yep.
A
Live from the football Brainler right behind our set here. Tony and Shregs will be in there obviously covering that. We'll have all the boys. We got some special guests lined up. Cannot wait wait to celebrate the next generation of NFL superstars. But on that note, Tone has a question for you. Shefty.
E
Yeah, Shefty. Since it is next week, you know, storylines are kind of coming together now. Obviously Everybody knows the draft 99 starts at number two. Whether that's going to be Arvel Reese or David Bailey or maybe somebody else. But besides that, what do you think the story lines are? What's the biggest headline that you're watching going into this final week before the draft?
J
Well, that's a great question. I know we're in Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh's got more picks than any team in the league right now going into the draft. And Pittsburgh right Now also doesn't have an answer from its quarterback. Now, I know that everybody expects him back, believes he's going to be back, but the last I checked, they were getting an answer or they thought they were getting an answer 30 days after the season. That hasn't come then they thought it'll be mid March. That hasn't come then it was supposed to be. Art Rooney said he was hoping to have an answer by the start of the draft. So we're waiting to see if number eight weighs in and and commits or doesn't commit or announces his intentions to come back and play or not. Again, I know everybody expects he's gonna be back. We all believe he's gonna be back, but he still hasn't given an answer. So if he hasn't given them an answer by the time the draft starts next week, do the Pittsburgh Steelers at some point in time draft quarterback? Did they draft a quarterback anyway? How high do they draft a quarterback? Just think it's kind of an interesting little question here that's sitting there until number eight weighs in. Now, again, you know, it'll be cool. What would be cool is if at some point in the draft he walked out of the stage and announced he was coming back.
A
Now
J
they play Renegade and he comes walking out, out to announce the Steelers.
E
What's he waiting for?
J
Age is like, that would be. That would be pretty cool to do this.
E
Holy.
D
Is that right?
A
Not even Thursday.
E
He's doing it day three. He's doing it Saturday.
A
Remember he was gonna do that Big night out too. Yeah, that. That was certainly a lot of expectation that other people were putting on a program that wasn't possible. Feels like that happens in wrestling a pretty good amount as well. But big night out certainly had those situations. It would be incredible if Aaron Rodgers walks out. Does the dap up with Goodell? Yep. Full circle moment, cuz. Remember his draft night wasn't the most fun.
E
Yeah.
A
He comes out to oh, mama sticks Renegade. Play starts sensing a little bit. Oh, that is him. He starts walking across the stage. He goes, yes. He inserts, yes, you can hear me. And this is exactly what Aaron Rodgers would definitely want to do.
D
Oh, yeah, yeah.
A
Stand, stand, Yell at me. Then he walks over to Roger Goodell, goes, I got this one, chief. Okay. Pushes him to the side, grabs the card with the eighth pick of the NFL draft, a man who's gonna be joining a team that I will be the starting quarterback for. And it plays. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome. He opens it up, goes, damn, this is a terrible pick.
D
Quarterback Ty Simpson.
A
But that would be a great moment. I mean, I'll tell you what, if Goodell would let him, maybe. Maybe we get a gut punch and we do a stunner in his entire thing, something like that for the eighth pick. That would be dope. And A.J. you would know better than us. That sounds like something that would be right down his kind of lane. Right?
I
Yeah, He. He's been real mum on his plans, but now that you lay it out like that. Yeah, why would he not. He might start the draft and say, hey, I'm coming back. And then. Then Goodell comes out. So it's a big, big pop off the bat.
A
Oh, welcome to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
J
I mean, nobody. Nobody's heard anything on the T. It just. It just keeps being pushed down the line. And at some point, like, what are they saying, Shifty?
I
What are they telling you? What are the team saying? The team's got to be. If they're. The team's frustrated, wouldn't they reach out to you and let you know?
E
That's not what the Steelers do.
J
They're. They're not frustrated. I. Again, okay. I just think people thought there would be an answer. I remember hearing, like, asking various people, and they're like, yeah, we should have an answer here in 30 days. Okay, great. Well, 30 days came and went. Oh. I'm like, where are we at? Where are you now? Answer? And like, yeah, you know, we should have an answer mid March. I'm like, great. Okay, well, mid March, we haven't. No. Now we have our Rudy saying we expect to have an answer before the draft. We can have an answer.
A
I don't know.
J
Wait to see. He's busy.
A
He's got 10 more days. Mercury's in retrograde.
E
How's it going to make the same decision when Mercury's in retrograde?
A
Okay, you don't. What does that mean? Is that amenable to what. What does that mean?
E
Well, when the Mercury's in retrograde, his stones don't align.
A
Okay.
E
So he's not seeing the world clearly.
D
His stones are.
A
I think they're making a mockery out of something that's not real.
E
Is there no crystal shops in Pittsburgh?
A
There is a lot of crystal shops in Pittsburgh. Thank you very much, guys.
D
Busy having sex?
B
I was going to say.
A
Just relax.
B
Got too much stuff in his stones right now. Once he deployed, completes all that, then he's ready to play.
A
There you go. Not yet on his time.
D
Okay.
A
Because he is in good shape. Exactly. We know he is in good shape. So I do like that ownership has come out. We're expecting an answer before the draft. That's a big statement. You know that. That's a big statement. But once again in the NFL, you know, draft will come and go and then like three days afterwards, that statement doesn't matter anymore.
J
Yeah.
A
You know, because everything could change. Speaking of everything changing, there's some rumors abuzz about what Thursday night could look like into the weekend. Go ahead, debut Chef.
F
From what you're hearing, are we expecting a trade heavy draft this weekend? Well, next weekend.
J
It's a good question. I think usually the way that trades are driven in a draft are from quarterbacks. And with the lack of them in the first round, I don't think that we're going to get more trades than usual in the first round. Look, we've already seen more player trades this off season from where we are now than any offseason in NFL history. So the trading part has come with players. And I still think that we still could get more player trades on draft weekend. And there will be the usual activity of some teams jockeying around the board, moving up, moving back, but I don't think it'll be more, more than usual. And it might just be less than usual because again, last year, if we think about it, the Giants jumped up to 25, I believe, to go get Jackson dart. And is somebody trading up to 25 for Ty Simpson this year again? Maybe, maybe not. That could happen. If it does, that'd be one trade, but that would be the only quarterback trademark. So I think we're certainly not going to get more movement across the board. I'm not expecting in a draft like this, but there always is some.
F
Okay.
A
Is Dexter going to be dancing out there?
I
Oh, yeah.
F
I got to figure that out.
A
Yeah, they. They. They definitely do.
D
Not the only one.
A
Dexter definitely does need to be deemed done, you know, for them sooner than later because this is somebody that to wants everybody would want. Oh, yeah, yeah. This is a. We can get sexy Dexy on our team. A guy who I think everybody thinks is hilarious.
B
Yeah.
A
And is also unbelievable at football. That's crazy because his contract says he's not going to get paid as much as somebody who is an elite passer, rusher or D lineman. But he certainly thinks. But they have two years, right? Don't they have two years of this thing?
J
Yes.
A
Right. Now that's not a lot of leverage, but if you obviously put it into the world that potentially available John Harbaugh, is he gonna just move on from Dexter Lawrence? John Harbaugh's always had a great defense. Always had a great.
D
He saw it coming. He said. I saw it a couple weeks ago.
A
The Giants, okay. I ran in some Giants folks this weekend at a golf tournament. Shafter. And they seemingly have a lot of hope.
F
Oh, yeah.
A
Like, like they are.
D
They're the team this year.
A
They are very, very, very optimistic. That was pretty cool to hear because obviously we experience Bruce every day where he's like, yeah, this is the year we're really doing it. It feels like there is a sense of optimism amongst the Giants fans. Would Dexter getting sent out of town diminish that or help? How would you feel about that? Bruce? Well, first of all, I'm not going to answer that.
J
I'm not convinced. I don't think they want to trade him. I think they prefer to hold on to him. But the question is, can they figure out something that's going to keep Sexy Dexy happy and keep him in New York? And that's what we're going to find out here.
F
Year.
J
But if you go back to last year, there was a period point in time, a brief period when Cam Scatterboo was healthy, and it was right before Malik Neighbors went down and Jackson Dart started playing. Like I said, a brief period where you looked at that team and they had more juice than any recent Giants team, which isn't saying a lot, but they looked like one of the most exciting young teams in football. They were a team that looked like they were going to compete for a playoff spot, spot, have a chance for a playoff run, and then they lose Neighbors, and things started going south and the season dissolved from there. But right now they've got to figure out this Dexter Lawrence issue. He obviously wants to have his contract addressed. He's coming off a slightly down year compared to what he's played like in other years, all pro in other years. And so the Giants are trying to figure out a way to make him happy. They'd rather not deal them, but I can tell you there are teams out there that are trying to figure out if there's a way they can make it happen.
A
Okay, let's talk quickly about another trade that just took place. Don Tavian Wicks heads over to Philadelphia. They also brought in Hollywood Brown right this offseason, and this is all with a bunch of AJ Brown smoke kind of happening.
D
Elijah Moore they brought in as well.
A
The Patriots obviously were a talking point because of Rabe's relationship with A.J. brown. And whenever people saw what they were like in Tennessee, they obviously Start linking them together up there to New England. Is this, Are they just trying to get 100? What do we, how's this? More weapons. What are your thoughts on moving Dontavi and Wicks to the Philadelphia Eagles?
J
Yeah, I, I think there's a case where an AJ Brown trade remains in play. I think there's every possibility that he could be traded. Everybody around the league believes that. Doesn't mean it happens, but it's certainly on the table. And so the Eagles have taken the steps they need to now. You know, you could look at it the other way and say, okay, they went out and added Elijah Moore, too. Elijah Moore and A.J. brown were college teammates. Maybe you're trying to entice A.J. brown, but I think when all is said and done, I think I've lean him being traded. And they now have gone out and added Don Tavian Wicks, they've added Hollywood Brown, they've added Elijah Moore. I think they've taken off some of the emphasis that they need to go get a wide receiver, let's just say in round one. Like I would think that they're going to draft a wide receiver here at some point in time. I still think the chance of an AJ Brown trader. Real, real.
A
Okay. This is the first time you've said that. Just a couple seconds ago you said you think he is going to get traded. I think in my brain immediately went like, whoa, is that new information? I was just at a golf tournament that didn't allow cell phones on the course. You after, jeez, the last two days, I, I didn't know if this was just known stuff or. And I was sitting in the sun and I got scorched. Did we, I, I think we've done a lot of. They don't want to move on from him. They don't want to move on from him. This feels like the first time I've heard you say that they are probably going to move on from him.
J
Well, I, I, I think I've been pretty consistent. I've leaned more likely to trade than not. And I'm still in that camp.
A
Further on that camp. In that camp.
J
Say that again.
A
Further into that camp now with the Dontavian Wicks trade.
J
That didn't move my needle at all. I mean, to me it's just another sign that they are willing to move on from him. Just another sign, like reinforcing what we thought all along, which is that a trade is in play, remains in play, and that there's real possibility it's going to happen.
A
You're saying needle can't get a little motion with the Dontavian Wicks trade, but it certainly solidifies some thoughts. Thoughts that we've had for a while. I like that. Okay, last question here. Schefter on NFL News comes from Don Dir. Go ahead, con man.
D
Yeah, Shafty. Basically, Goodell said, hey, get used to Australia. We're coming back here. We love it here. Everyone's all in down in the Bobby. Can we assume that they're going to end up starting the season in Australia for the coming years just because it's going to be too tough to fit in some sort of Australia game mid season, week five, whatever you want to call it, or what's kind of your read on what Goodell is saying here about the NFL staying in Australia for the long haul?
J
Well, what I would say is that the league has typically opened the seasons with the super bowl champion on Thursday night and this year they modified that to move the Seahawks to Wednesday night for the first time since 2012 when Barack Obama had the Democratic National Convention on Thursday night. So, so here's a case where if they move it to Wednesday and it works with Australia on is that Thursday night, it's Thursday night, Friday morning in Australia, 10:35am In Australia, Thursday night in the States. If it works, the league is going to do whatever it can to grow the game internationally. And if Australia takes the game as the league is expecting and the game is a success as the league is expecting, I don't know why they wouldn't be back there again next year. Now would it be the same weekend? I don't know. They could always plan it around a team's bye weekend in the middle of the year and make sure that those two teams had a buy the next weekend. But if Australia hits this year the way that everybody thinks it will, then it could absolutely become a regular part of the international rotation because we're just going to see more and more international games. And if and when we get to the 18 game schedule, then I think we get to the point where everybody's playing at least one international game. And, and look, all you have to do is pay attention what's going on here. The NFL is divvying up territories across the world like it's Monopoly streets. Everybody gets some street. So you're an NFL franchise. You get the Italy rights.
A
That's the Browns.
J
So, so everybody's getting rights to cities. And they're not doing that for the fun of it. They're doing it because those teams are going to Be playing there.
A
I can't wait to see the game in Fiji.
D
Yeah.
E
That'd be sick.
A
Norway.
E
Oh.
D
Up in the mountains. Word. Come on.
A
There's got to be. There's gotta be some. Now it wouldn't be stinky. It would be a dream to be able to do these things. Up in the Alps. There was a country I played soccer
B
in in the Lichtenstein.
A
There it is. The stadium was right in the middle.
B
Oh, it's.
A
We've seen all the roads lead to the stadium of the entire country, basically. And I. I got a chance to play soccer as a teenager there. It was awesome. Just kind of watch them. They would certainly pile in for Pittsburgh Steelers, Green Bay Packers. Yeah. Abu Dhabi. Oh, my God. I didn't even think about it. Where they can use those fans that were used for the World Cup.
H
Boom.
A
Remember, because it was so hot, they had to put. Put fans into the stands and they actually were just blowing fans everywhere.
H
Garbage tank.
A
We'll have air moving. Moving around in there. That's where we're headed, huh? Say, Hunt, That's. That's where. That's where the game's going. Think about that.
D
Greenland.
B
Yeah.
A
Remember we were at the Pro Football hall of Fame down in the basement of. Looking at the vault of all the old.
F
Yeah.
A
Do you think whenever they were drawing the grid for the gridiron, 5 by 5, yards by 5 by yards, had to do that because people were dying. In the previous version of that, do you think they would say, we got a game in Australia?
E
No.
A
Lamar. So far away in the middle seat on that plane writing a letter, you have no idea what is possible with our great game. It's incredible where the game's going. We're obviously pumped about it. And Goodell said, coaches, enough. Okay? You're. You're all adults.
J
And I know there is respect. They don't care what the coaches say. Like Kyle. Shania can complain all he wants. They want him in Australia. He's going to Australia. That's the way it goes.
A
And that's what Goodell said. He said, coaches, you know, they want their own routine. If they had it their way, they play one o', clock, four o' clock every single Sunday. They'd be able to do. He's. He understands. He understands. Yeah. And I have no jet lag. Science told us basically what to do. Landed the other day. I'm fantastic. So wait.
F
Could do.
A
Yeah, yeah.
B
It's a relatively easy trip.
A
Yeah. So what he said. He said he's got an app. He'll Share it with Shannon. We have science to figure this out. The science is. And I learned this from Bulrush Ura. Okay, shout out Bulrush. We are landing in the morning over there. Okay, so just easiest way to look at this. If you're landing in the morning, you need to be waking up whenever that thing lands. Now to get to a point in which you can fall asleep and then wake up in the land. That's the struggle. That's where you're having a 24 hour day. That's where you're fighting through. But you're gonna be so exhausted you might sleep nine, eight and a half, nine hours there. So as long as you can get to the final end of that flight, you can just. And then you're up and then it is just like another day. I landed in Brisbane. Well, I landed in Melbourne. Then I went to Brisbane. Not close at all.
D
Which is a far flight too.
A
Not close at all. The place is gigantic over there. I did not know that. I thought we could get a car. I was like, we got a couple days. I'm like, this would be sick. Go see some roofs. Drive through here. Let me go. Maybe stop by the Irwin's place. They're like, that's nowhere near here. And also Brisbane. Okay. You're gonna be driving a long time. It's like, all right, sweet. I guess I'll fly. You land there. It's just a morning like you just let you just wake up and it's a day. Wasn't that big of a problem. Coming back was the biggest issue I had. Coming back.
E
Yeah, they're going to play a football game.
A
Yeah. Coming back was the issue.
F
Well, they got to play against somebody who had deal with the same right out there.
E
But coming back back week two. No, it's probably some team that was just chilling.
F
The first one in Austria.
E
It's all we don't need to go to Australia.
F
Everybody's different too. Everybody.
A
Australia is awesome.
E
I agree. We don't even be playing football there go. We go on vacation.
A
Yeah, we're going on vacation. Australia. We're living good. That's a long.
D
Yeah. When we going?
E
I, you know, I would never do that, but some people would.
D
As long as the east Coast.
A
Anything else we need to talk about? Go ahead. Sorry after. You're gonna say something.
J
No, I remember I went to Australia with the Denver Broncos back in 1997 or eight. They played a preseason game there. We went there for three, four days. And I remember coming home and with all due respect to the Commissioner. I remember I was a little bit jet lagged.
B
Careful.
A
The way home's tough. The way home is the.
E
You don't have the app. You didn't have the app though, at that time.
A
We got signs. Don't you worry about it. We got little things. You just kind of slip one of these in. You're awake. Up right out. Bushy tail, baby. We got the rest of football season to play. We're excited for that draft. Feels like we're getting close to the NFL season. That is a beautiful thing. Obviously, Masters weekend with Chef's been. I don't know if you guys know this. Chef has been there many times. He actually told us a lot of information about it, didn't he?
D
Yeah, basically everything.
A
Yeah, he told us a lot of information earlier. We heard it. We heard it. But he loved it. He absolutely loved it. How could you not draft next week? We appreciate you. We see you over in Pittsburgh.
J
Yeah, I look forward to that. It'll be awesome. It's. This is one of the best times in the LFL calendar. Ten days away here and it's going to start picking up here. Look forward to it.
A
You're the man. Let's drive soon, you know.
F
What's the schedule? Release?
J
May. May here. Oh, yeah. I'm glad you brought that up. Tuesday, May 12, Wednesday, May 13, Thursday, May 4, right in that window.
A
It'll be. Wow. Hey, sorry. Hey, that sweet spot, man.
E
12, 13, 14.
A
We'll know who's going where when. Okay. And that's what it's all about. And I know that where we're headed is a place where you the rap port, are going to be a tag team of breaking news.
I
Wow.
E
Tag team champs.

B
Oh, yeah, yeah. Is that.
D
I ain't giving any news.
B
Oh, no. I riled him up because there was that story that came out that basically said like, they. They view you rap for as the heir parent to Adam Schefter. And he basically said when I was doing his podcast, like, I ain't retiring. That ain't happening anytime soon. He was. He was. He was pretty fired up about.
A
So he covers. He covers the NFL a lot. Okay. Quarterbacks in the middle of their prime. Another quarterback gets drafted as a young. He reports it. Hey, you got to do what you got to do. Now he is. Oh, quarterback in prime.
B
Oh, yeah.
A
And there's other stuff saying it. I don't know who always said that. That is the situation here. He has not said that. He has not been told that.
F
I assume a lot of people just finding out how old Shefty is too.
B
Yeah.
A
Oh, yeah.
D
Looks amazing.
H
Yeah.
A
Every day. He's like a Montana Steve Young Chef is an animal. And I don't think he thinks about stopping ever.
B
Oh, no.
A
So whenever people are like, when this old hag Shefter's done, this guy will step right in. Chef's like, who fucking runs the game? Okay. Who? You know how long I've worked to get to the top of this place? What do we even. And he doesn't have a.
I
He's a coach, Chef. He's a coach. He's going to die with both phones in his hand. Just like an old coach dying with a clicker.
A
There's a chance, hell, it might be three phones by then. We don't know what technology would do. That's right. Might have a contact neuroink. Neuroink. Yeah, yeah, plugged in. We've seen others. Heard of others at least. All right, we're back tomorrow. Somehow we can't thank you enough for allowing us to do this for a living. We'll continue digitally. YouTube, ESPN Plus, Disney Plus, Tik, Tok Live 5 and X. And then sports centers on the other side of this three minute break. Be a friend. Tell a friend something nice. It might change their life. We're gonna sit together, aren't we? See tomorrow. I missed the tomorrow, I say, but it sound like a cough, probably.
B
No, no.
A
Scared to death to sneeze.
B
Oh, I bet.
A
Oh, yeah, down there. Pollen Everywhere.
E
Oh.
F
Oh, yeah.
A
I'll tell you what. I. I didn't know pollen could do what he was doing down there. Oh, yeah.
D
No clarity.
E
There's a thick layer around here as well.
K
Time.
A
It's the time we got to stay. Seat up.
D
Yeah, seat up.
E
Killing me C ain't doing for somebody.
F
Sneeze right before Rory's about to take a shot. Late.
E
Yeah.
A
He stepped off, guys. Boots on the ground. I like to let everybody know Rory's allergies. Used to it. Cuz he'd been there for the last three, four weeks. He had the honey local honey probably, which I've been told kind of helps dropping Poppy up with the entire thing. Yeah. After good dadding nobody. She loves ice cream in the entire. How could you. Not really. But the p. It did feel. There was a couple of these for me, you know. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. There was a guy. I mean, we were right next to this guy, and then it's just like you start getting a little. Little bit of a tickle.
D
Feel it coming.
B
Yeah.
A
It's like, no way, dude. No way is this about to happen right now. Because I think I'm maybe banned immediately if you do that. Like, because they would think it's on purpose.
E
Yeah.
A
All of a sudden it took a little bit longer. They told us to back up. I was able to do a down in there and then kind of back up and kind of get into it. But there was a chance where he was at, when he was at it with the tickle that I was feeling that was coming at some point after setup, after, after. It was gonna.
B
Maybe when he's in motion, it might
A
have been maybe with the way he was addressing ball at time, the way it was moving that, which I don't know. What is it? Can somebody explain to me what it is? How can we beat this thing? How do we beat these things?
B
Clarity. You got to get clarity. And you don't think that you can just take one pill. You got to basically be on that thing for two weeks and then that you're gonna. Then you're gonna be good moving forward. But if you wake up one morning, like, my allergies are terrible, and you take one of those things, it's not gonna do anything, unfortunately.
A
What about when I feel the tickle?
B
Oh, yeah.
A
How do I do it? Do I blow it up?
B
Really? At that point, you're kind of just submitting. You're lucky.
I
We talk about sneezing.
A
Yeah. Yeah. Oh.
I
I mean, you just got to go ahead and sneeze at some point.
J
Right.
I
You gotta let it go.
E
Good for you.
A
No, I agree. But Augusta golf course.
B
No, I think in that surprise.
I
Augusta doesn't have filters for the pollen. They got someone building, like building some things. Yeah.
A
To.
I
To take the pollen out there just for that week or something.
D
Large tissues.
A
We got a pollen count here in Indianapolis. It's 9.3.
B
Oh, me, me. That's not good. Yeah, Layer of it. Oh, yeah.
A
Dude, Foxy, Foxy this weekend sounded like he was chewing so raspy.
C
All weekend.
A
People are meeting him, they're like, you got a unique voice. Country singer. You got a unique voice. It was unbelievable. Ran into Wright Thompson. He. He's got the juice.
E
He do a voiceover again this year?
B
Yes, he did.
A
He did about him and his dad and the story that he told there is. I think it was very nice for us to be able to hear it.
C
Outstanding.
A
Because it is like he talked like from the South. Yeah. Like, hey, this is how this is viewed. You know? And it was fucking great.
C
It felt very genuine.
A
And this was before we drank some bourbon that is very hard to get. Oh, very hard to get. I was told directly from the bourbon company. Owner of company.
E
Okay.
A
When I asked, so how. How do you get this stuff? How would I go about getting this stuff? Cuz it's so good. Go to all local liquor store. Sign up for the lottery.
F
A lottery.
I
People waiting. People wait outside. 6:00am Like 50 people deep.
A
Yeah, I know why. The old fashioned had. Was delicious. Oh my God, it was so delightful. I said, okay, so when do I. So when do I. When is that. Is that happening right now? Yeah.
C
You're doing that, right?
A
I don't know when. It's definitely.
B
I don't know if any booze is worth that. No. And I love drinking booze. I don't know if I'm going to be going around to every liquor store trying to find it. And then if you can't just be like, all right, well, I guess I'm not drinking this.
A
No. I think once you taste it though, you think to yourself, I would like to have this again. Again. Which is kind of, I think the experience that we had.
D
They didn't gift you one.
A
No.
C
Well, that's what I was hoping.
A
There's only a certain amount of bottles, brother.
E
True.
A
Yeah, exactly. We're not doing gifts. They'll do. They do a lot of charity, a lot of like giveaways and things like that, which is obviously fantastic. But yeah, there's only a c. Certain amount of bottles here.
D
So they say.
A
I mean, it's true. That could be their gimmick. But whatever the case is, it's worked for a long time. Yeah, 30. 1935.
B
Yeah, long time.
A
1935. And those barrels had to be before 1935. So you're talking like talking Prohibition Honda. Actually, there was six distilleries that were still allowed to operate during Prohibition. Actually, hundreds of them got shut down. Just so happened that this was one that they were a part of.
E
You learn this in a quick story or.
A
I, I, I know a lot about the bourbon business. I heard a lot. Lot. I heard a lot. And I was very close to person giving presentation. Have a lot of respect for person giving presentation. Best and. But when you're there, you're on stage. Yeah, I was, I was, you know. Yeah. Phone right there. Hadn't had phone all day, so would like to maybe catch up. But then disrespectful and people watching me do that also.
C
There was a TV on right next to us, too. Couldn't look at it, though.
A
I couldn't look at it. It.
C
Yeah.
A
Story Everybody else could, though, cuz it was right behind speech.
D
Just staring at.
A
Cuz if I was to do this one guy giving speech right here.
F
Disrespect.
A
So Texas, Oklahoma, softball game.
C
Great game.
A
Battle. Saw it out of Perif here because I had to do a. Whoa. Okay, then look at Foxy. You get that? You need to learn a little something. Me and Foxy were certainly in the only positions where we have. We were kind of the background back. Background dancers for. Yeah, yeah. I had to listen and we had no idea what was coming, so we didn't know when what was happening to what. Yeah. So certainly a scene.
C
And then we got a swing lesson. We did do that.
D
You guys were swinging. What?
A
No, no. Golf. Oh, no, no, no. There was a. No, no, he did not. He would have loved it, though. He would have loved the, The Bourbon.
B
Yeah.
D
Oh, yeah.
A
Speech.
B
Like, yeah.
A
Chris from Iowa, the Quad Cities. Oh, hell yeah, he is. I told him immediately, as soon as he said he was from the Quad Cities that that place got buried on our show by Ty Schmidt and kind of Tyrese. But we have walked back those statements and we appreciate him. Gave me a golf lesson. No big deal. Need to put a backwards hat on. Need getting onto a brick wall.
C
Okay.
A
Just like this right here. Then I need to take a away a bounce a weighted ball.
B
Okay.
A
I need to take my swing back. Well, I'm going to hang in a pile. Okay. Turn those shoulders a Little bit. Now I need to be able to lift up that left leg without moving my head off the wall.
I
Do it. You got a brick wall right behind you.
A
Okay, so I'm doing it right now. Right now. Okay. So head. Head's on wall right there. Okay. You lift up your front leg. You're kind of turning on your right leg. You're kind of loading. That thing needs to start back, and then you need to obviously put your foot back down because you don't need to actually lift the foot up, but it needs to be able to be lift up without you falling. We need a balance on that back one. And then whenever you got through, you need to throw that balance ball. Boom. Get you right in the slot because you're right there with the brick. Then you need to throw that balance while buying right to the hips of somebody that is about nine, ten feet away. Okay.
D
Wow, that's a far throw.
A
And I'll tell you, wearing a tank top at said dinner. Come outside. Had no idea there was going to be golf lessons. They had to sink some. It pretty well. I want to hit and just. I was like, you can teach me how to golf right now. He said, absolutely. I said I would show me. I would like to learn how to golf. Try to give me some putting lessons.
E
You say, sir, I'm good on that.
B
I don't need those right now.
F
You have the Internet, sir, do you
A
have Spider X 251,000?
E
He said, yeah.
A
Well, he didn't have it with him. Actually.
E
Roars did.
H
Right?
F
That's what.
A
Yeah, it's probably eight out of nine winners. Yeah. Last nine winners.
I
Probably that. That one right there. Is that what that is?
A
Spider X2.50 plus premium. I did use one of these at the Burkman's thing.
B
Not as much success was the same.
D
Well, that's different.
F
It wasn't yours.
I
It's not yours. Probably different length.
A
I. I wonder why next, if I ever get invited again, I'm bringing my putter.
D
Yeah, you should.
A
Yeah, you should bring your clothes.
E
Most patrons bring your whole bag.
I
Bring your whole bag and get some metal. Metal tip spikes to wear.
A
Yeah. God. See, somebody's going to write that. I said that. That, and that's gonna be a whole thing. It's like, I clearly am joking. I know you walk through metal detectors in there, because I thought to myself, I can get my phone in here.
B
You see Mark Calcavecchia, who's a major champion. They walked in, they're like, yeah, get the out of here, pal. We don't care.
A
Yeah, that's a crazy.
B
Yeah, they'll kick anybody out.
A
Yeah, I saw that going in. And there ain't. There ain't no.
D
I don't care.
A
You know, there's no. You're looking around. There's a. I mean, patron just immediately defoxy in the paint. Self police to a law like that's important. I mean, Foxy was. You should have seen this guy we're talking about.
I
You made yourself at home, Foxy or what?
C
I had to do it. I had to feel the grounds. I had to feel like a player. I had to feel like I was playing Augusta. You never know. I may never go back again. I might not win the lottery. Like Chefy was talking about. I don't get invited to these things. Okay, guys.
A
See, he was holding hands with his wife, this gentleman.
C
Yeah, he was mad.
A
He just only frown I seen all day. It's because Yankee Foxy came to town. Unbelievable. Walking all over the grounds. You don't deserve it. Fuck boy. He's basically what this guy said.
E
Probably yelling meat and potatoes and stuff after drives.
A
Oh, that's a whole nother thing.
I
Mashed potatoes.
A
I'll tell you what. I was in hell. I was in hell. I don't know what's right to say. Never really done a golf tournament before, let alone doing Augusta. I'm four feet away from Scotty Scheffler right now.
E
Okay, Say hi.
A
I did a couple. Go on, Scotty,
E
baby.
B
Scotty.
A
But there were some moments where it was like kind of quiet. No actions happening. We're waiting on the leaderboard to change. They just finished the hole. They're walking right by us right here. There's like some chatter. It's like, oh, my God. Dog just on it. Potential to like 10 guys. I was like, this isn't about you. Shut the up. Now is not the time. And I just kept the hat on. Sunglasses. Let's go ahead and let's just not say a thing. A couple of those. But boy, there was just so many moments where it was like, it would definitely pop. This would be a great pop. Got a good feel for the lads that I'm around right now. It was a great group. We were around. We were with these people. People for like a hour with no phones. It's amazing how you can have to be forced to community, you know, and this community all loved what we were watching. Was having a good time, obviously. All. Everybody trying not to get in each other's way. You. You just set your chairs. Other people allowed to use Your chairs. But then when you come back, it's your chair. I love that.
B
Love that.
A
Norfolk Southern Train Company. Okay. Nice. Good. Mr. George.
C
George Legend.
A
Legend. Told him I was about to buy a train. 20, 20.
D
Oh, so close.
B
Very close.
A
That was a nice trip down memory lane, guy. He had no idea that was coming.
E
We had a trained guy.
A
Yeah, yeah. What was his name?
D
I think it was Kevin. I'm like 90. Sure it was Kevin.
A
Yeah. I couldn't remember what his name was. I said. But I talked multiple times to a guy who has his own personal trains. And I was going to buy a train during COVID and we were going to remember, do a show. We're going to get more. Multiple trains or whatever those little are called.
B
Yeah, train cars.
A
The cars. We're going to get multiple cars. We're going to have one that was going to be a studio one. We're going to have one that was going to open up like a stage, and then we're all going to have our own individual kind of rooms. This is during Company sounds. Yeah, dude, it was. It was a great idea.
D
Still want to do it?
A
Yeah, it's still. And now we know the people now. Okay. Norfolk Southern. The George family, we were very thankful for them. Ran into them him and he shook a great group. Had a couple young lads who were taller. A guy who played football at Elon, maybe. I think football at Elon with Signetti. When Signetti was there, he played at Elon. And then there was another guy. And then I think the daughter was there and the wife was there. Lisa. Oh, sorry. I mean, Dave George. Rick George. I forget the name. He's whatever the case is. Two lads come up, shake hand, family comes. Dad looks cool, guys. And then I asked like, you guys come here. Are you fans or whatever? They're like, we're with our dad's company or whatever. And I was like, what's coming? They say Norfolk Southern. I thought that was like, maybe booze.
D
Sure.
A
You know, like a Boone booze kind of sailor, whatever. And they're like, train company. And I was like, yeah. That guy walked over, shook his hand. Nice to meet you, sir. Almost bought a train. 2020. Let's talk about it. Went through an entire thing. I said, man, I didn't know it took 10 hours to get from Indiana to fucking Illinois, though. They're like, yeah, it's a long. You got to take a long road. Road or track, I guess to a lot of different places, that would have been a good time. That's how we're going to beat Covid. That's how we thought we were going to beat Covid. Turns out, because of Indiana laws, we had to stay six feet away from each other. And we were able to do it just in a. In a studio.
B
We didn't have to get you a train.
E
Sports talk.
A
Yeah.
B
Yeah.
I
Right at the jump, right when Covid popped off.
D
Oh, yeah.
A
That was a nice trip down memory lane, man. I completely forgot about the train purchase.
B
Oh, yeah.
A
We're so close to Science Train. This close.
I
I do remember you talking about it. I didn't know to the extent that, like, the.
J
The.
I
The train that has a stage that opens up the studio one. And then the personal. Like, that's a. That's a traveling circus. Pretty much.
A
Bingo. That was actually part of the conversation. Ringling the ring. I think they actually used to do that as something. It was. I was. One more day of blindly. Yeah. I'm doing it away from buying all those things. One more. If it would have lasted one more day, I would have done.
E
I think WI Fi was. Was an issue.
A
Yeah. We. And also pre starlink.
H
Yeah.
A
The areas in which the stations were, I think were also stuck.
D
That's what it was. That was the biggest thing. Like 18 hours from basically Indiana to Florida. We would have to stop in four different places to get there.
A
And it would take like four days, five days. It would have been a. It would have been a. But on that note, from my understanding, Norfolk Southern does have a phenomenal train with incredible. They got a dining room one with like a open window.
D
Glass ceiling.
A
Ceiling. So stars and everything like that. They got like, other ones that are like lobbies, dance, like food.
D
Ballrooms.
A
Yeah. The trains, they turn into, like, actual mobile homes. And I think they had a party one night that we got invited to on the train. I don't know how we would have ever got there, but it would have been sick to go see what they're partying on train.
C
Yeah, it would have been awesome.
A
Yeah. I don't know.
D
Just go to the nearest train stop and they find you.
A
And do I do this one here?
D
Yeah, you ring a horn or a
I
bell or something and the party's over and you're four hours from. From home.
D
No, it takes you home.
A
No, you're actually by foot or car. Probably 20 minutes from home. Train, four hours. That was. That was what we learned in 2020. But that was a great family. I mean, we talked to them a lot. They offered up their seats to us. Good people had great seats, too. They got there early, allegedly. We could never find their seats because we couldn't find them when they. Whenever we were trying to get to their seats.
E
Sure.
A
And we didn't want to act like we were part of the train company, but people just walk up to people, tap them on the shoulder. Happened to us. Tap on our shoulder. Those are our seats. Hey, no problem. Just get up and leave.
F
Thank you.
D
That's a great system.
A
It's just a moral code. Yeah.
C
It wouldn't work anywhere else. All that wouldn't work anywhere else because everyone would be about it all and no one was. The whole two days we were there, there was not one person that was an asshole.
A
You were the ass.
C
Yeah, but people kind of get that, like, oh, that guy loves golf. So he's walking on the ferry.
A
I don't know if anybody thought that. I was looking at the faces of the people. I didn't see anybody thinking that.
C
Yeah, this is a weird one too. On those walkways we're talking about, there's so much foot traffic, like hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of people on it the whole time. But the fairway is still perfectly green and perfectly crisp. It makes no sense to me.
A
They had a maintenance crews out there. They're a big part of the conversation because Friday morning, Friday afternoon, and they're a bunch of dogs. Got a chance to meet them at T Bones last night. Oh, yeah, they were having their post Masters wrap up. It appeared the lads were buzzing. I mean, a strapping group, obviously. Yeah, that's a blue collar bunch. And the Masters obviously provide so much for down there, especially for them. But it's. It was a special time. Rory. Winning's awesome.
D
Yeah, it's crazy.
A
To your point earlier. D butt. I don't think I really was a fan. Fan of Rory McElroy. Yeah, he had a lot of heat on him. I think he didn't mind that he had a lot of heat on him. Remember one of those PGA meetings told somebody, sit down, shut up, or something like that. One of the other golfers, it was like everything coming out was like, Rory is taking a PJL and he's back and he is fighting against the evils of everything else going on in the world. And then behind the curtains, what was going on with pga? You know, I felt like maybe Rory was getting a little bamboozled about what was going. You know, there's. It's an interesting thing, but Rory has never shied away from being heel or being person that has to say something. I feel like he probably thinks that because At a young age he was crowned as golf royalty because of how damn good he was so early. So I think he kind of said, if not me, then who? For a lot of things. And then obviously his personality and his public Persona changes a little bit there in people's eyes. But him coming and winning back to back with the book that just came out, all the other stuff that was being talked about, let alone, you know, the last three tournaments and everything he says gets taken in a negative way. It's like that's an incredible mental toughness check there at Augusta, Ferrari, McElroy.
I
Yeah.
F
And everybody obviously he's, he's been in that fishbowl for his entire life. And you know, regardless, as long as you perform, I've kind of come to find out for me with athletes, as long as you perform, whether you are a hill, a baby face, a nice guy, I'm probably going to like you. If you show up in the biggest moments and you, you know, everybody's talking shit at you and all this other stuff is going on, maybe away from the course or the field or the basketball court and you show up and you show out for in those biggest moments, I'm be a fan obviously, you know, Ryder cup, we're team usa but when he's in these type of tournaments and he's on Masters like this, this was dope to see him get the back to back. First time since Tiger. Get me just getting into the golf a few years ago when the lift started.
D
Yeah.
F
When Tiger got in trouble a while ago and he got kicked off the game. Rory was on the game game. That probably was the beginning of me not liking him. Whoever it was that replaced Tiger on that video game. Yeah, I was probably gonna have beef with. But I loved what he's saying and like, like Andy said earlier, he, it does seem like he, he had that, what, 11 year break between major wins and now it seems like he may go on another run here and get. It's crazy that he's not already kind of unanimously in that top 10. As a casual, I would think he would be in that top 10 rank realm. When you hear people around golf, it's like, oh, he's a couple majors away.
I
Gotta be with the career Grand Slam though. What. How many guys do you but have the career grand slam?
B
Six.
I
Now four.
D
I thought.
A
What is it?
F
I thought it was, I thought it was four. I could be wrong.
A
I like that question. I don't have an answer to four.
I
That's why.
F
Yeah.
I
Scotty hadn't even done that yet. Right. Scotty's missing the US Open.
E
Isn't he British like, Scotty Dick didn't even play well. And it's just another ho hum second for sure. Scotty like.
A
Yeah, that's the thing with Scotty is
F
that is history in a weekend. Right. But bogey free weekend.
D
Yeah. Like 1940. That's why those people who are pissed off about like McElroy playing a bunch leading up to it. Is he the first guy to ever do that? Like, why wouldn't. Yeah, why would they be pissed? And also if you're Scotty and the other guys, why aren't you doing that? Like, why aren't you going to the Masters instead of, you know, playing in the Valero Texas Open, whatever, and just going there and getting in.
A
Yeah, they're showing up for the fans.
B
Scotty just had a kid too, so that might be normally. Yeah, but normally, I mean, if you have one like, that makes a lot of sense that, hey, we make sure I go win this thing again.
A
Just a terrible question. Awful is what he said.
B
Yeah, that was. That was incredible.
A
He's got a newborn.
B
Yeah.
A
At home too. Yeah, he's just. Okay.
D
You shot a 65. What should it have been, you think?
A
Here he is, here he is with his presser after S65 today. What did it feel like it could
H
have or should have been?
A
That's just a terrible question. Awful.
J
What enables you to.
H
What enables you to go low today?
A
Marty, as soon as he want a nice with you to go today, hey, that's what it should have been. You did good today.
D
Had a boy, Marty.
B
Yeah, that was a awful question.
A
Scotty, what do you think? You on real low today. We should talk about that, I think, is what you were saying there. Yeah, yeah. Framing terrible. Just awful. And then him after saying, I wish I would have had a better start coming into the weekend like Scotty, we. We've said this here for the last like year or so, I guess. So it's not like breaking news lose. But he's becoming a lot more comfortable being who he is.
B
Yeah.
A
Knowing exactly who the he is. That is great for us. I agree, A.J.
I
yeah. And I think Scotty's even committed to play this coming weekend and whatever event's coming up. Rbc, I believe.
E
Yeah, they are. Yeah. In Hilton Head, right up the road from Augusta.
I
Man, this guy. I mean, Scotty's gonna. Is Scotty going okay? Who's getting more majors, Scotty or
D
Scotty?
F
What's Scotty at now?
B
I mean, Scotty's what, seven years younger?
I
Scotty's got four, I believe.
E
Scotty.
B
I think so, too. If Scotty shoots even on Saturday or, I mean, on Friday, he wins. You know, like, he. He had that one bet. Like, he. He was unbelievable all weekend. So it's. I mean, it kind of goes back to what we've been saying about him.
F
Put on 17.
D
The put. Yeah, exactly. Like, he was that close. I know you had. Yeah, like this close from a playoff hole. And you're telling me if they go to a playoff after Rory Bogey's 18, that he doesn't win, like.
A
Oh, I'll tell you what. Those greens, though, they kind of let you know who's going to win the Masters. That place will choose the champion on it.
C
That's right.
F
That sideways putt Rory hit from, like, that was.
A
Well.
E
And the chip he had on 16, that was.
D
He did that 25 times sitting onto the freaking tournament.
A
What's your problem?
E
There it is.
J
Whatever, man.
F
Yeah, this putt was crazy.
I
That's pretty. Oh, yeah, pretty good.
A
This was Tiger.
E
Yeah.
I
Had a sweet pitch up into that. Like a pitch up into the hill that didn't think about. And he came right back down to like 2 or 3ft.
A
Super heat here, too. Everybody knows what's happened, what is happening, and what could happen. Right. Leaderboard right in this area. You could see it. There's a lot of action around here. Rory understood completely what the dumb it was to have that much touch and move it that close is just absolutely absurd.
F
And you're saying on tv it still doesn't do these greens justice?
A
No, dude, they're. I mean, not even close. It makes no sense.
C
It was my number one takeaway by far and away. The greens, the fairways, everything. I mean, there's guys. You're shooting straight up into the air. It's. It was insane.
A
You're hiking. You are hiking, hiking out there.
C
Another takeaway I would have is how fast the golfers walk from hole to hole, from shot to shot, shot, all that stuff. I mean, they don't take much time at all. They line it up, they hit. And then Rory was speed walking down that fairway next shot, and they just keep it moving.
A
We were walking alongside. Roar.
C
Oh, yeah.
A
For hole 11. Yeah. Hole 11. He. We were walking at the same pace as him outside the ropes. He's like 15 yards, probably to our left, walking at the same clip, you know? Yeah. Let's go. Roar.
C
Pat actually said he's like. I could see how guys would be so frustrated if you Have a slow guy in your group. I mean, that would take away your entire mojo.
A
Yeah, because they move, they move. We're hitting and moving, and it felt like everything at Augusta was quick. Long line for the merch. You're mo. We're moving. We're moving. We're moving. We're moving. Food. Beers. We're moving. We're moving. We're moving. Golfers were moving. We're moving. We're moving. It. It really did feel like that was the case. Roy McElroy, he's an investor in Whoop. He wears one of the company's wristbands while playing and allows the brand to share his data periodically, says Joe Pompliano. Here are some of his Masters highlights. 24,000 steps on Sunday, 91,000 during the tournament, and he's obviously walking A to B. A lot more than the fans of patrons are. Roy's heart rate spiked to 135 during his tee shot on 18. Dropped a 121 during his approach shot, fell further to 105 for the winning putt, and then jumped back up to 150 during his celebration. Started crying a little bit before the tap in time. See the moment. I would like to know what it was in that bunker.
E
Heart rate.
I
Yeah.
A
Yeah.
B
Probably low, I was going to say, based on what Andy north said.
A
He just chunks it out of there. Yeah. He's got a hill behind him.
B
It knows exactly where.
A
He actually probably aimed for that area. Anyways, like that. That's basically what Andy north was saying. Out of all the bunkers, he was in the right one.
B
That's funny you mentioned that thing about guys being slow, too, because that's what a lot of people were saying about Scotty's. He played with how tong Lee yesterday, and he shot in 80. So it's like he's waiting a lot longer, you know, like that. That hole where he's way the hell over there. It's like you kind of just got to deal with your. Your playing partner just being absolutely hammered dog, while you're trying to go still win the tournament. Like I. I would imagine that is a pretty. Pretty tough situation to be in as well.
A
Yeah. Just waiting, looking, moseying, and also not getting a lot of looks, you know, from your partner.
B
Yeah.
F
Is this guy.
A
Yeah. I'll tell you what. Lee had tough day. He had a tough day. Good week overall. Obviously. Gets into the position that he was in and then just kind of falls over himself. There's. Hey, man.
B
Yeah.
D
Look at them both there already checking their Putt after.
A
Yeah, I think there. It was there when. And Scotty goes, this.
B
This guy. Are you kidding me?
A
It's in the water.
B
Okay, go drop it. I'll wait. I mean, go to the other side of the green and look at the, you know, the stint meter.
A
It was crazy how intense they were reading the green. Like, you could sense the intensity when we were sitting at 6 and we're very close. It was like watching Scotty like. Like he'd never played the green before. And the whole location was brutal, disgusting. I mean, anything after was immediately off.
C
Yeah.
A
Anything before was back down in the front. So you had to hit it like a. Probably a 2 yard, probably 2 yard landing area for it to stay up on the green, up on the top shelf or whatever. Rose did it. I think. I think Rose put one up.
C
Yeah, Rose was up there.
A
Somebody made a birdie up there while we were there. Place putting pretty crazy.
C
I think maybe Henley was.
D
Sam Burns.
A
Sam Burns is awesome to watch. He's liked Cam Young, very well liked.
C
Yeah, Cam on that hole was awesome to watch because he was all the way on the other side. He had a really long putt, so he paced that thing out like three or four times just to get the right distance on it. And he had a great putt and a par in that.
A
Yeah. The intensity in which they break down what the putt's about to be, as if it was the first time they've ever putted before, was something that I'm gonna try taking in my game, but inevitably we'll say, I don't know anyway, and then just hit the thing.
F
Didn't see any. Any much. Did you see much chatter between the golfers at all? Cuz I know Cam Young came out after. He was like, yeah, Rory didn't say, you know, word to me, really.
A
I thought I saw Rory do a head knot of. Of like, support after the six putt.
E
I feel like they always say, like, their Thursday, Friday groups, they'll talk a little bit more. But once it gets into Saturday Sunday, it gets pretty quiet.
A
I thought there was an acknowledgment.
C
There was par three.
D
It was the par three. Rory hits a filthy shot, set up for a birdie putt, and then Cam Young matched him. And then while they were walking, Rory, like, turned around and gave him a thumbs up.
A
Okay, so that happened on tv, you're saying, right?
C
Yeah, yeah.
A
Okay, so on six, after Cam Young puts that thing close, I think Rory also gave him, like. It was like a very much like a great Shot. So I was actually impressed that he gave. My takeaway was. Wow. Wow. There is like. It is like a. Hey, I was fucking.
C
And so also, Rory hit it over the green, but he hit. He was off, and he hit first. Cam Young's ball was on. Normally, if. If you're.
A
Yeah, they had to have a conversation.
C
It was a full combo.
A
Yeah. I thought it was a pretty good little respect.
D
That was a big thing on the 18th because Rory goes all the way right. Cam Young goes all the way left. They were. They showed on the tv. They were trying to, like, communicate. Like, Cam Young was pointing at him. Him pointing them. Pointing at himself. And then Rory was like, no, it. I'm just going.
A
So they had that at six as well.
D
Okay.
A
They had the same thing. So I. I mean, obviously they're not talking. It's a. They were all very intense. I will say very. That was own world. That was like a very.
C
Not a lot of talking.
A
Yeah. It wasn't like a super chatty operation. There's no music playing either.
E
Music.
D
Well, that's the thing about the greens, too. Like, Cam Young, he just won the players, and we had him on, and he was so good with his putter the entire time. Like, it was like, this guy sees it better than everyone. And then on the Masters, he's missing most of his putts.
A
He missed right in front of us, I think. Right. Didn't he miss that? Yeah, yeah, he missed. After doing a long putt to close. He missed that. And then he bogeyed or whatever. So did Rory. And then it was.
C
We watched him hit under a tree, basically. He was under a tree. We walked up there to get really close, and actually the people had to. Hey, step back, step back, step back. And then he had the lane to.
A
Yeah. Shout out to Tim. I do believe Georgia Southern grad o', Brien, one or the other. They're working the. The galleries, man.
F
It was one shot. It may have been 17 or 18. Rory was taken. He, you know, he told the crowd to move and, like, the final shot as he's taking, like, you see, just the gallery just was like, 18 on 18.
A
Yeah. I'm like.
F
I'm just looking like the trust and, like, it was like, obviously no doubt that he was going to hit the ball correctly and go over him, but
A
they're all just like, yeah, we were one of them. We were in that. Even the tee box. Even the tee box.
D
It was either 18 or 17. And you.
A
You can.
D
And you're watching it. Weather teeing off, and it is just nuts right here.
A
Yeah. This 18 bananas. That's a very close. That's a thin tunnel. It's insane.
F
Yeah, the iron shot I'm talking about though.
I
They were the next shot. Cuz he took it out over him. He curved it over their head and he curved out.
F
Crazy.
I
They're into the bunker.
A
They're all very locked in. Surprisingly, there was a little bit of chatter about. About Rory's outfit.
H
What about.
A
What about it? Was it. Was it a son?
I
Yeah, basic, you mean?
J
Well, not.
A
Li didn't need to be a lot,
B
but he needs some patented thing now on Sunday he just does.
A
Foxy said something immediately.
C
Yeah. So I'm a Rory fan. I have been for a long time and I looked at his outfit yesterday. I said, okay, I don't think that's a winning outfit.
A
And that was after he won double and there, you know, so boxing would look good. He wasn't the only one though. Foxy wasn't the only one. No chattering. This group over here to the left. I thought he would have wore something a little better for Master Sunday. Like a couple people noticing it. And now granted, we don't have our phones or anything else, so everything is on the table to be discussed because we have nothing else to do.
H
Good point.
A
You know what I mean? So that is. That is a part of life there. But it was made. Mentioned by multiple people. Yep. I would say multiple people were like,
F
how was the fit compared to last year?
A
Year? I don't know, I. You know what? I didn't have my phone. I didn't have a chance to check it out. I will say somebody looked really cool. Jason Day looked cool.
D
Oh yeah, great buys.
I
Kind of been his new Malbon. Malbon, Malbourne. Whatever the brand.
B
See, that's your battling on the T box, 9.3 rating.
E
Rory had a good outfit last year.
A
Is it all white?
E
No, it was a blue. A blue polo with white pants.
A
Looks like he was dressed like it was a casual day. That's his club. That's his club. That's Roy. That's his home club. That's kind of how it is. All right, let's get the hell out of here. We'll be back tomorrow. Good one tomorrow.
E
Yeah.
A
Great playing. Game start for the NBA.
B
Oh yeah, that's right.
A
Sounds like you forgot about it.
B
Yeah. You don't care.
D
Well, that's because you guys mentioned Tony was supposed to give us an update on the WNBA draft tonight. Because that's kind of what he's more.
A
Oh yeah, WNBA draft Tonight, obviously the next generation of wn NBA stars who enter the WNBA with the greatest CBA that's ever been negotiated in women's professional league history. So congrats to them getting that deal done. Tonight the WNBA draft tone who's odds on favorite to go number one and how do we get to this point you think?
E
I was just looking to see if there was odds on on draftkings so I could get my crown. Doesn't look like there are that I'm seeing.
A
That's because it's up easy foot not
E
up but I would be shocked. Shocked. Thanks for taking my take that if AZ didn't go first tonight.
A
Do you have a second pick overall take or just. Just only number one.
E
There's only number one. That's all I care.
A
She's point guardian. Lauren bets is very Good. Lauren bets UCLA.
B
She's draft eligible bus 1300.
D
Yeah.
B
Okay.
A
She needs to go to the fever. Caitlyn Clark needs Lauren bets on a team you have a different just signed Sophie I believe back and Lex I believe the Indiana Fever.
B
I know Kelsey Mitchell just signed a
A
supermax and Kelsey Mitchell is at 1.4. So whenever we talk about the fever if we were to get bets. Let's go crazy. Let's go crazy here with you. Yeah. On Especially with Caitlin Clark being back. Right. She just beat up everybody in international thing.
B
Yep.
A
Just resigned Sophie Cunningham and Lexi hall as well.
B
Yeah. So we. Yeah.
A
The squad's back.
J
We're ready.
A
Yeah.
E
You renew your season two tickets.
A
Absolutely.
E
Every year.
I
When's it start? When's opening day tomorrow?
A
Don't you worry about opening sometimes we're worried about the draft right now. AJ Folks, I'm working on the W. Yeah.
I
The WNBA draft and then the NFL draft.
J
You're right.
A
Masters WNBA Draft, WrestleMania NFL Draft.
B
It's the same every year.
A
We're in a great time to be alive. NBA playoff.
D
NHL playoff. Playoffs.
A
Holy underrated.
D
Time.
A
Almost dropped one of those. I think I did a lo as his butt was rolling uphill at us. He almost had a bird and it looked like it was about to fall and it was literally right direct from where I was and it goes off and I thought to myself got way too comfortable there. But I thought he was about to
B
make like a no, see, I think that's perfect. And then if someone comes up to you and says like why would you say like no, it was that guy over there. They're never going to know.
A
Got me on camera. I don't think so.
B
Okay.
H
Yeah.
B
No, that Was that guy. He's been a real the entire time I've been here.
A
Saw Doy Pepper Doug Goat.
E
She was locked in legend.
A
She walked right in front of me and Foxy both. We said, you're a legend. Didn't hear. Headphones.
E
Big headphones.
A
Still moving.
C
Yep.
I
Thought he's been Colton Ost.
A
Yeah. He was up in. He was out there. He's calling it. I think he's up in Butler cabin there. Right. Right. We didn't make it up there.
I
I don't know.
A
I don't. I don't know where that is.
C
We didn't even see it.
A
I couldn't even tell you where that
E
is right now after 18.
A
I know that it's up there on a hill. I wonder.
E
I assume so.
A
We were there maybe, but we didn't know we were there.
E
I have no idea.
I
They show you any of the underground tunnels they got there?
F
What do you think? Good question. A.J.
I
it's well reported. They have unbelievable, like, setups with under with the tunnels because they said you'll never see like a maintenance truck driving food out to one of the little shops. It's all under.
A
Okay. So I know that there is sub Air. Okay. The company that it goes underneath a lot of football fields and things of that nature. I know they are certainly in the game where it's a hot cold, you know, melt everything. I believe there's numerous NFL stadiums that have their technology in there, and I think they're only growing. Got a chance to see them on the way out. Got a chance to see turf guy from NFL. He's just Jack.
I
Me too.
A
This guy's super Jack.
E
Say, Russ.
A
Russ Green. He was not. I don't know. He was probably there. I did not run into him. But the NFL turf guy we talked about. So our father, the 57. The Thunder Muta 57.
E
Oh, it's going.
A
Yeah, it's going new. I thought I was gonna be able to pull the name.
D
It was a Therma 31.
G
31, I believe.
A
Yeah. Therma 57.
E
Like bastard Robins. 3140 flavors.
A
It's a mix of Bermuda and Kentucky grass.
D
Bermuda grass.
E
Gonna be beautiful.
A
Kentucky blue and Bermuda. And it's got a Tundra 57. Yeah.
G
What's Tahoma 31 Bermuda?
A
Tahoma 31 Bermuda is what's going in Ackershire. I believe I met Buddy who's in world of trying to figure out what that is. And you need to know he is properly jacked.
E
Okay, good.
A
And he did take advantage of Being able to buy everything that was in. In the store. I like that. He had six bags. Six bags. Grocery store.
C
Oh, yeah.
A
In from the car to the kitchen type he was doing on the way out. And he was piped up, walking like this. And then the sub air guy was with him. And he's super genius, this guy. He's got four bags. These two oxes were walking out at the very end of this thing.
C
The merch store is a good racket. Honestly, they've just convinced if you go, you have to buy them million things. And you probably don't, but you do anyway. And everyone is in there. It's insane.
A
Shouts Chris. Run a great store. Former West Virginia equipment managers in there working shout out to him. He's a Wilkes Barre PGA pro work storing the masters down there. Shouts Chris. Good to see him again. And then Miss Amy. I'll tell you what, this lady's name was Amy. Ms. Amy. She was a sales. She was good. As soon as I walked into this place, as soon as. As I walked in, Miss Amy, great accent. She is from Georgia. Augusta, actually. Welcome to my yard. I have no idea how long she's been there. This ottoman right here is a collector's piece. You can have this one, or there's a brown one right over here. We can easily just ship this wherever you need to go. We'll just give you this tag right here. It's easy. No problem. I'll look at that thing. I don't need a ottoman. Do I say? Because there's not a lot of these ottomans out there. This is a beautiful thing. I'm like it. I'll take the ottoman. So the ottoman's gonna be here somewhere.
I
Oh, I can't think. You put your feet on an ottoman.
A
Yeah, yeah. It's full leather, full size. I mean, it's green, obviously.
E
There a master's logo.
A
Yeah. Oh, yeah.
E
Sorry.
B
Wait.
F
It is a racket out there.
A
Ms. Amy. Ms. Amy comes, turns corner. She's got. She's got two blankets. For your wives. Yeah.
E
I can't wait for Bone's big, fat feet to be up on the ottoman while he's working.
A
Bones feet are never touching the ottoman. Ottoman. And they're not big and fat. Remember, they're thin. That is why I didn't make it to the NFL.
D
We just need to worry about his head.
A
Ms. Amy was a weapon. Agreed. He needs to worry about his head, too. A little bit more. I'm. I'm thinking he needs to start thinking
D
about time to shave it.
A
Yeah, A couple Weeks. Here. Here's the ottoman. This is what's coming. They led with this thing, you know.
E
That's a great buy.
A
Yeah, I've talked about. This is Ms. Amy. She was right next to it. I mean right next to it. And she just did a. Oh, you love this.
E
That's a one of a kind brother. You, you.
A
It's not one of them. Many people. You've done well. Many people have bought it. I think it's pretty good price. You got that and then the blankets. Obviously got that. You go over to the hat section. It's like, oh, I definitely need that hat. That's sweet. Am I ever going to get this hat again? No. Okay, I'll take that hat. All of a sudden you look down your bag. I got 10 hats. Okay. I'm never going to wear any of these. Certainly do that. Which hat did you get the. Did you get the egg salad hat? The pimento cheese one?
E
I saw someone's egg salad hat get knocked off on tv.
D
People didn't like that guy.
A
I don't think I know what you guys are talking about. They hated this guy. Kept popping up on the screen, had
D
a big green egg salad hat, said egg salad and big letters and he had these goofy glasses on and people really did not enjoy him.
A
He was not. He was not supposed. What he was doing was unbecoming of Augusta.
D
Yeah, he was like background of teabox on 15 or 16 and people really were cooking them.
C
Speaking of the goofy glasses, I saw that guy. You can buy those at the merch store. Those are masters official glasses.
A
And the egg salad also probably a hat that you could buy.
C
Yeah.
A
I did the classic walk in there wearing one thing. Buy everything. Complete change of outfit.
B
Yeah.
E
Egg salad guy was in the background all day long.
A
That's good. Egg salad. Kind of knows the ins and outs. Sounds like Vegusta. Not easy to do that because I'll tell you that we were part of a couple galleries. We couldn't see anything. We couldn't say anything. We're listening to responses though and I'm going, oh yeah. You know, just getting a part of the. And then if something's bad going. Oh, so many of those for me would not knowing what we're doing at the. Too so many. It felt great to be out there. Felt great to be.
F
Did you see Fizzy at all and what.
A
Which one? Larry.
F
Ryan Fitzpatrick?
D
No, he's cuz he has those.
E
Any, any, any NFL football guys?
A
Yeah, it's awesome.
E
NFL football guys?
A
Yeah, couple NFL football guys.
E
Come on man, spill it.
A
Not as many Sultan swan.
B
That's an NFL football.
A
Holy swan.
E
Thank you, Lynn.
A
I was in the middle of telling him, I thank him for his service to Pittsburgh, and he didn't want to hear it. Cut me off. Just started talking about what his day is, how it is. He didn't want me to compliment him at all. He cut me off immediately. I was like, sir, thank you so much for your service too. He goes, no problem, no problem. So let me tell you about. Just right into it. It was awesome. Good fist bump. He was great. Saw Terrell Davis pd. I saw td Look, I told him he looked fat, you know, because he's like addicted to working out. I think he's like addicted to working out. So he comes over to the table. I go, what's up, man? Hey. They're saying you're fat, dude. He said I'm fat.
B
Who said that?
A
Where? It was incredible. It was an incredible interaction. He was. Everybody was. It was cool. Everybody was cool. Ran in a bunch of go dogs.
I
Of course, Roll Tide was a miss. Still there when you there.
A
Did not see the Miz. He generated quite a buzz for being there, though. The Miz.
E
It always does.
I
Sweet suit.
A
Sweet.
F
Talking about the TKO house.
A
Yeah. Look like a good time. They had binoculars in there. See, that was the one thing that I think we should have had, was binos. Needed the binos, because you can't. It's hard to see the leaderboard if you're not right up on it. And the leaderboard is a massive piece of the entertainment of the the day. Leaderboard is a character that is bringing a lot of news because there's no TVs anywhere.
J
Right.
A
And you don't have phone. Yeah. So leaderboard is a huge deal. But if you can't see leaderboard, it's tough, you know, because they're changing those little boxes. Is that out of 10 or a 12? He doubled. Oh, that's the. That's literally what the reaction is. Had fun. Shout out to them Augusta, into them Masters, and shout out to Randy Orton. Honestly. Shout out.
B
Shout out is right.
A
It's going to be his Saturday night.
B
For real.
A
It already is, though. It's kind of like, you know, when you test drive something, that's kind of what's going on right now.
D
Yeah, yeah.
A
We're appreciative of Cody Rhodes kind of letting us test drive this thing.
E
That is nice.
D
He gave it to you.
A
Well, it's actually his. It's actually Randy's. Yeah, he's already won it. 14 times. So this is basically. You know what I mean? Well this and the other so heavyweight so yeah, I just test driving, that's all I thought it was down in Augusta. Couldn't take it on course obviously. Sure metal detectors sure. This thing got to experience the Masters. It's already living better. Exactly. Boom. This thing's about to be on shoulder around waste of Randy Orton and ox who's going to save an entire business. This thing's living a good life right now, code. Don't you worry about it. That's right.
F
Keep your eye on that thing.
A
Me?
F
Yeah.
A
I've had my eye on this thing the whole time. That's why I was on the phone, brother.
E
I own a price.
A
Okay. We ain't saved business. San Jose wasn't nice, were they?
B
No, not at all.
D
Kind of expect.
A
Oh great.
J
Great picture.
A
Yeah I'll tell you didn't really expect to do that just walk out an entire arena is boon you feels natural just to be like you know what actually yeah. All you go ahead and get it so fun night in that San Jose. Certainly a blast. 25% off WrestleMania Saturday night tickets currently available now. I think it's. Yeah, I know it's going to be a night that is looked back on forever.
B
Yeah.
A
So I cannot wait for it. I'm pumped for it. And Randy Orton's going to save the business. Yeah. He is going to become 15 times world championship. Randy. Thank you, Randy. Thank you, Randy. Thank you, Randy. That was good. You even caught the beat there a little bit. Couldn't help yourself. You know what they're saying 15. Save the biz too. Yeah. How come it was McAfee on the phone? Cause I fucking called him and told him, that's why. Yeah. I want it to be the Rock. You think the Rock wants to do anything for you to. I want it to be Vince McMahon. Vince. Sorry, it was me. It was me. I'll tell you what, I'm having a good time out there starting it up but I. I think people should know that in the long run whenever people look back on this entire thing, we're gonna say thank you, Randy. And I think there's going to be a good on path for doing that for the business. Yeah. MacPhee was right.
H
Yeah.
I
Yeah.
A
And I'm thankful for that. That's what it's all about. That's what it's all about. That's what it's all about. I know Cody. Hey K. Hey. Come on, keep coming. Yeah, right. She's so simple. Yeah, it's Such a simple game.
E
Game.
A
It is Such a simple radio. Yep, yep, yep. European uppercut. Another one. Yeah, let's give it another one. Yeah, let's go and do that. Throw his ass in the ring. Y. Let's go ahead and do that. I mean, let's have a good time out here. Let's go and make sure he knows. Yep, yep. All right. Give him a big one here. Bang, bang.
B
Yeah.
A
Oh, you want me to give you one? Okay, shot. How about we crow hop in it? Yep. Give me that ant. Oh, I get a good shot that I got right there. Just know he buckles down. That's from my punch. What was that outsider dude there. Yeah, listen, we love Jelly normally, but he's just not supposed to be putting his nose in this business. No, he's an outsider. Clear as day. He was slapping me around a little bit. He thought I was going to, you know, that. Oh, what was he going to do? Now, granted, I told him it'd be a bad idea, you know, like, hey, good physicality. Oh, man, Randy Orton is around. I was ruthless. Why would you do that? Stupid. You know what? I'm a pumpkick the out of this guy. Actually, this is what Randy said. Oh, you thought you had us. Oh, no. Oh, no. Though it was at this moment where I was really a little bit. Oh, no. Okay. Something might pop off here a little bit. Is raining. Not in control. Cody Rhodes. How's that work? I don't know what's going on here. Why is my guy getting beat up? I'm thinking to myself while I'm standing, well, I need to do something, obviously. What? When's the right time? I was telling go punch him now. It's right. Bang, bang. You know, I was there. He rolls like a dumbass.
B
Yeah, I shouldn't have done that.
A
No way. And we bang.
D
Boom.
A
Thank you. It was all planned, all of it. Just right to WrestleMania Saturday night.
K
That's right.
A
One of the most monumental, pivotal evenings in the history of this WrestleMania Saturday night. Come see us, Las Vegas, five years from now, 10 years from now, you're going to look back and say, I would remember what? That's that we're excited for it. Strictly because when the documentaries come out, it's gonna pay its respect to what's going on here with Randy Orton. And that's what it's all about. That's right. Love of the birds. Let's get the hell outta here. We appreciate you, aj.
I
Appreciate you guys.
A
You got Randy. You like Randy, right?
I
Come on now. Of course I gotta tell you, what if Cody, he was really telegraphing his punches there. If he does that Saturday night, he's going to be in for a long night.
A
That's what we've been saying this whole time. It's like Randy right hand, one of the most lethal in the history of the business. Okay. He kind of is the business. It's actually his family's business. Yeah. So there's just levels to this whole thing and I. I would like to be clear, I actually respect kind of Cody as a sports entertainer.
E
Sure, sure.
A
It's just. Yeah, right. Yeah, you know, like what are we talking about? Yeah, right. Randy Orton. Dude, this is Randy Orton kind of good. He's a good wrestler. He is, Yeah, I thought he's a good little wrestler, isn't he? Yeah, Randy Orton's the greatest. Okay, so that's just what I've been trying to say here. Wrestlemania season. We're in. Let's enjoy it. Shout out to Randall. Shout out.
D
Love you, Randy.
A
Randall Orton. You have anything else?
J
Middle name.
I
What's his middle name?
A
Doing Viper K. Kill rko. That's right. Be a friend, tell a friend. Sacrifice might change your life. We're gonna sing together. Team on me. Appreciate you all guys. We still hoisting a cone in Pittsburgh?
E
Yeah, yeah, yeah, we are.
A
Are we the best team in baseball?
E
No, not the best, but close.
A
Pirates gonna win it all.
E
Dodgers still exist but they're cheating, so kind of.
A
I don't think they're cheating. They're spending a lot more money than the Pittsburgh Pirates.
B
Yeah.
E
And everyone. And everyone.
A
They're not paying them for 20 years, but. Yeah, but the buckos were still in us.
E
Kind of like they're practicing at a major golf course when no one else can.
D
Just kidding.
A
That's angle Be a friend, tell friends something nice might change your life. We're going to send together. We'll see you tomorrow. You guys are the greatest. Thank you for having us. That a baby in the back. We even got a super suit over there with his fist up.
J
Nice.
A
Good to see you. Concave a general manager. Oh, wow.
D
Nice. That's coming out of the year. Last year it's coming up.
A
Is it? Can't wait to watch. No, they cancel. I don't know. Be a friend, tell a friend something like watch. I can't do. I can't commit to that. Good. That's too much timing.
D
World cup, same time.
A
So got a kid coming which was another scary thing for this weekend. Yeah, actually like hey, what. What is code? What is That's a gusta. Yeah, pal. Figure it out. You think you're the first ever. We saw a lady try to sneak into a golf cart cuz she was tired at the bottom of a hill. They're like, we're going to need you to get over to a medical kicker and then at the medical tent they're going to give a full test. Yeah, you're gonna have to pass the test obviously to warrant a golf cart. This is not just like an immediate happening right now situation. This will take a little bit.
E
Can't have rascal scooters all around this place.
D
Yeah, that's the business of a gulf.
B
Shoot you in the head and throw
D
you in Race Creek or bury you in the tunnel. Hey, you work here now and live here.
A
We didn't see any of that. But we did see a lady go, all right, I'll walk. She just walked. So it worked. They got to figure it out down there. Yeah.
F
I hope she's still alive.
A
They're not doing any follow ups. Be a friend. Tell a friend I assume she is. Maybe she had good moxie trying to get a cart.
H
There you go.
A
When you're down in the bottom of it and there's only one way out and it's straight up this hill or straight up this hill. It does bring in a little bit of figure out.
E
Fight or flight.
A
Here we go.
B
Strap in.
A
This is the Masters. We should go grab a beer. They stopped selling. All right, let's go. Spit dirt up this thing. Water fountain five times. I'd say I did like I was old school back in high school.
B
Yep.
I
Nice.
A
Just because it was available. Loved it. Every time I saw a waterfront I go, ooh, waterfall. I actually said that out loud. Yes. That was incredible. It was perfectly timed and placed. It was a trip back in time as we see Today's Tiger, Rory McElroy. Maybe be a friend. Tell a friend something nice. It might change your life. We're in the same together. We're back tomorrow. Team on me. Team on three. One, two, three.
D
Team.
