Okay, let's get into some fan questions. Okay, first question from Cheryl. If you ever play a doubles exhibition match amongst yourselves, the four of you, who would you pick as your partner and why? Desiree.

No, I'm saying I'm calling on you.

I don't know. Honestly, I feel like I would take Jenny.

I feel like that kick serve and like, you can just change the pace. I just feel like a lot of girls aren't used to a kick serve, and that is just, I think, a really big weapon. But also your forehand. Like, in the last episode, we said you're very heavy forehand, but I think people would think your volleys would. You wouldn't be moving as much, but you'd be moving.

I think I was going to say DEZ as well. I also feel like because it's an exhibition, I'd want someone that I can have fun points with. So, like, being able to, like, lob and hit volleys and, like, angles and short angles and, like, have the feel of where to move. So you would have more fun points, especially, like, exhibition style for dubs specifically. And a lefty. It's more fun with a lefty. I feel like.

Okay, first of all, this question sucks. Please don't, like, put that in my brain. I heard plane, and I was like, this better not be about the plane crashing. But now that's all I'm thinking about.

I'm gonna say Jess.

I was gonna say Jess because of her gamer skills. It's like she can use a joystick, Right?

Yeah. My. During my four hundreds the other Day I had a heart rate on, heart rate monitor on, and I hit, like, 186. And I was like, guys, I think I'm gonna die.

I hate first. I used to do a lot of versa climber workouts. Those are pretty.

I love.

If you really like. I like it, but they're pretty brutal.

I don't like the assault bike.

[Jenny Brady]

Oh, yeah. I did an assault bike workout that was like, every minute on the minute, and it was like, 25 cows. 20 cows. 15 cows, 10 cows, 5 cows. And then back up 5, 10, 15, 20, 25. But I actually, like, you're supposed to, like, do it like, within the minute, and then you have a break. But, like, I actually never had a break because I couldn't ever complete them in the minute.

So you have to finish the call.

I literally just went. So literally, I just went continuous.

I'm like, that sounds terrible.

Yeah. Awful, awful, awful.

I feel like incline can also be, like, a tough one, too. Like, if you're doing incline. Oh, no.

Yeah. We had to run the mile in college, and that was like, if you get the mile under seven, you get your goodie bag of clothes. There were some people that didn't make it, so we had to rerun it, and it's like, oh, my gosh. But that was the last time I ran a mile.

I will say, though, when we were in Buffalo, Jenny was doing little.

All of Jenny's like, I do it now all of the time in the gym at home. Like, I. I go to pick up, like, clothing at home, like, laundry on the floor. And I'm like, you feel so strong and powerful.

Survive. Survival of the fittest. I don't know.

[Jess Pegula]

I feel like the best tool is tracking it and knowing when it's coming so you know when you're losing it, that it's justified and it's okay. I honestly feel like that's one of the best ways to manage it.

[Madison Keys]

See, but I'm. I'm on birth control, so in theory, like, I. It should be trackable regular, but it's not.

[Jess Pegula]

Yeah, well, then you're screwed.

[Desiree Krafczyk]

Or when we're traveling, like, long distance, like, sometimes it's like, it gets messed.

[Madison Keys]

Up, it gets irregular. But I think also, just with how much we train, everything is so, like. I just feel like we. Our lifestyles make it massively irregular. So no matter what you're trying to do to, like, track never really seems to work out.

[Jess Pegula]

Yeah.

[Desiree Krafczyk]

Whoa.

[Jess Pegula]

Sorry. Yeah. And then you're like, oh, maybe I'm losing my mind because I'm getting my period. And then you're like, wait, I just had it last week.

[Madison Keys]

Maybe that one's not me. I'm just losing it. I will say, like, if I'm on.

[Desiree Krafczyk]

My period, I will tend to. I will tend to, like, eat more red meat. Like, that's one thing I really, like, take into account. But.

[Jess Pegula]

Well, I double up my iron supplements. Yeah.

[Jenny Brady]

I already double red meat, so definitely hydrate more.

[Jess Pegula]

But, yeah. And also, I think, aren't you more susceptible to getting hurt the week before your period? And then when your period comes, you're actually supposed to train harder because that's when you can actually, like, push. Like, your body's in a better position to push, but the week leading up, it isn't so you're. They've done all these studies now where, like, you're way more susceptible to get injured. So then it also takes into account we're probably playing that week or doing something that week, and then you don't really know when that week is because you're already messed up from the jet lag and the travel.

Yeah.

[Jess Pegula]

So basically we have no idea what we're doing. We're just hoping and praying.

Taylor texted me, and he said, oh, maybe our next puppy can be named Jenny.

The guy who had her before was considering different names, and they just tended to all be with an M, like Maple, Mabel. But then Shelby Rogers, her dog is named Maple. So we liked Maple. But I was like, I can't name her Maple. Like, Shelby just got a dog a year ago and named her Maple. So then I went with Mabel. And then I love that show only murders or Mabel and that show only Murders in the building. Selena Gomez is Mabel. So I was like, oh, cute Mabel.

But I feel like I don't ever want to get, like, too into it because all I can remember is Yelena Yankovic at Indian Wells. One year was on the changeover, and I think someone either took, like, a bathroom break or had a medical timeout, so she had a decent amount of time. And they did the kiss cam, and she literally, like, turned in her chair, legs up, was, like, looking and laughing or whatever, and then went out and lost, like, the next four games so fast. And all the commentators were like, she wasn't focused on.

She was unlocked. She was unlocked.

So I was like, I don't ever want to be that.

So I try to, like, overly lock in, but in my head, I'm like, this is a good song.

Okay, okay. From Shake Bake 71, how did you make your decisions about going pro or playing college? Oh, well, I wasn't good enough to go pro, so that was my decision.

I went pro too early, so it wasn't really a conversation.

I was, like, 17, and I did well at the open, and it was kind of like where you start looking at colleges or you go pro age. And my parents, I just remember, were like, if you want to go pro, like, you know, obviously, we're going to support you through that and, like, whatever. And I hated school, so I was like, yeah, I'm going pro. Bye. I never want to go to school ever.

I definitely chose, chose, chose college just because of, like, funding wise, like, we just. I said chose not.

I chose. Okay, back to my answer. I chose to play college just because we definitely did not have the funding for me to go pro. I'm happy I chose college. It was definitely a growth that I needed. I just felt like it was more so helpful, like, getting into routine. You're on your own. Like, I don't know if I would, being that young, if I could have gone on my own. Like, I don't know how that would have been. And, yeah, maturity wise, like, it definitely helped. It helped you grow up. Like, I think that's what college is for.

Best question, though. I mean, I feel like there's definitely some people who come out to do the questions that I, like, know very well. And I feel like those ones are always, like, super enjoyable just because obviously, like, you have a relationship with them, so it's. It's, like, easy to talk. And they have, you know, questions that are a little bit more personal because they actually know you. So I always enjoy those. But I would say my biggest pet peeve. Yeah. Love Andrew Krasnyy. But I would say pet peeve is definitely when it's like they're already worrying about the next match, and half the time you don't even know who you're playing.

So last Saturday, we were playing Dingles, and Jenny came in, and she was maybe not thriving in Dingles so far. Like, we were struggling a little bit, but all of a sudden they finally went a point. And I hear Jenny goes, I play to win. And I was, like, crying, laughing because I kept thinking of the trivia. Whereas, like, depending on the question, she was either like, we play to win, or it was like, no, we'll pass.
