Madison Keys
This is the players box.
Desiree Kravchick
Hey, everyone. Welcome back to the players box. I'm Desiree Kravchick alongside Jenny Brady, Madison Keys and Jess Bagula. Thank you to Amazon Health AI for sponsoring this episode. Healthcare just got less painful. As always, a friendly reminder to please give our podcast five stars and subscribe on YouTube. Let's get into our unforced error of the week. Maddie.
Madison Keys
I actually don't have an unforced error. I'm gonna say I have a winner. I got home super early the other day and had groceries waiting for me. I unpacked all of my clothes. I did laundry and was totally settled in by dinner time. So love that for me taking that as a win.
Jess Bagula
Great.
Desiree Kravchick
That was amazing. Yet here I am with all my 12 suitcases.
Madison Keys
Do you want to go next?
Desiree Kravchick
Should I add my suitcases not being unpacked? I had a couple actually this week. Well, first I was in a car, so taking Jenny's spot in this one.
Jess Bagula
Wow.
Desiree Kravchick
I was driving to downtown and I was. You know how some motorcyclists, they trying to go between cars and there was a standstill like of row of cars and I was about to turn right. So then a motorcycle came in between us, clipped the side of my rental car. And as he was going, he looks back and then I honked and I was like, what the hell? And then he looked back and then he kept going and I was like, well, I'm never gonna find this guy because we were. He was obviously going somewhere and yeah, but I ended up turning right and I saw that he was pulled over to the side and I was like, what the hell? Like, what happened? And he was like, I was like, can you just check the car? Cause I was still in drive and then I was gonna pull over, but I was still in a driving lane. There was nowhere to pull over. So he's like, no, it's fine. Like, I'm fine, I'm fine. And I was like, well, let me check my car. He left as I was trying to get out of my car and look at it. But luckily there was not that much of a damage. It was just like a little dent and a mark. But then I didn't know what to do because I didn't get his license plate or anything, so.
Jenny Brady
Oh, my gosh.
Madison Keys
Ye.
Jenny Brady
So, but hit and run?
Madison Keys
I mean.
Desiree Kravchick
Yeah, but Leslie wasn't.
Jess Bagula
Yeah, but does hit him?
Jenny Brady
Yeah.
Desiree Kravchick
No. How did I hit him?
Madison Keys
Well, were you like, like still in the lane?
Desiree Kravchick
No, no, I was still.
Jenny Brady
He was like. He drove past her.
Desiree Kravchick
Yeah, I was in the lane and then there was standstill cars on the side parked. And as I was going, he was trying to go between us and he clipped my car. And it wasn't my fault. I didn't turn anywhere.
Jenny Brady
Yeah. But then I was going straight and
Madison Keys
then he was like, yeah, yeah, I'm fine. It's like, okay, but you hit me.
Desiree Kravchick
Wait, hang on.
Jess Bagula
You hit me.
Desiree Kravchick
Yeah, but luckily I've also dented a car before in pass. And Jenny bought this turtle wax thing
Jenny Brady
for me rubbing compound.
Desiree Kravchick
I'm gonna use that.
Jenny Brady
Yeah, yeah.
Desiree Kravchick
So that was my unforced error. Quite a. Quite a day.
Jess Bagula
Gosh. Oh, Jenny, that's terrible. Wow.
Jenny Brady
Well, could be worse though. Speaking of cars, have you ever.
Madison Keys
No, I thought you had another.
Jenny Brady
No, I was gonna say, have you ever been driving and had to sneeze?
Desiree Kravchick
Yeah.
Jenny Brady
And like, yeah, yeah. Like, is that not like. I don't know. I was going down 95 and I had to sneeze and I was in the left lane and there was a big like 18 wheeler truck next to me or. And I was like sneezing. I was like, but like, how to keep my eyes open?
Desiree Kravchick
You can't keep your eyes open when you sneeze.
Jenny Brady
I know, I know. So I was so scared that I was gonna wreck the car. But no, my unforced error is, is that yesterday we were trying to figure out a time to film next week and DEZ said, what about Tuesday? And then I'm like, I didn't see that text. And I said, oh, I'm actually taking the bright line on that day. And then Maddie was like, you're taking it on Thursday? And I said, and I Liked the message. I was like, yeah, I am taking on Thursday. And then. And then I was like, wait, why did she send that message? Like, she knows I'm taking it on Thursday. And then I scrolled up and I saw DEZ had said Tuesday. And then I was like, oh, okay, sorry. And then, you know, say, oh. And then it was too early for Des. And then I said, okay, on Thursday next week. And then Maddie corrected me and was like, no, it's on Wednesday. And so then I got frustrated and, yeah, I kept messing up the time. I mean, the day. Not the time, but the day for filming for next week. So we're going to be filming on Wednesday at 8:00pm Eastern Standard Time.
Jess Bagula
Lock it in.
Jenny Brady
Pacific Standard Time. Desire. Lock it in.
Jess Bagula
I didn't even know that you were having a big meltdown about that.
Jenny Brady
Yeah, it's because we were playing Call of Duty. We were playing and I was texting the group conversation for me and. Yeah, I know. I was like, oh, whatever. Yeah, well, yeah, it was just me and Maddie basically texting.
Madison Keys
Yeah.
Desiree Kravchick
So,
Jenny Brady
yeah, I'm clearly a little. Still flustered about it. Jess, do you want to go ahead
Jess Bagula
and say, oh, my God, you're so flustered. I'm so confused why you're so flustered about it.
Desiree Kravchick
We got it sorted. Just be there.
Jess Bagula
Anyways, mine, I would say mine is probably. I got back from London and my dog decided to puke in the car on the way to pick me up. And then she had horrible diarrhea for the next 24 hours. Probably went maybe 15 times inside the house. Like, it was. It was bad. Oh, no, it was bad. It was very bad. And so then I had to take. I was going to take her to the vet anyways because it's just. I have a couple days before I get busy. So I was like, okay, I'm just going to try and get her in. So it worked out fine. But it was pretty bad for, like, we got through last night, though. That was good. But literally the first night being in, I literally woke up to Taylor dragging a rug out of the bedroom and it smelled and I was like, oh. I was like, no, she's still going. It was like. I don't even know what time it was. It was so bad. And then he went and slept on the couch and then she just went all over. It was bad.
Desiree Kravchick
Oh, my God, what a welcome home.
Jenny Brady
Poor Mabel.
Jess Bagula
Yeah, yeah, Maybelline.
Jenny Brady
And it was her birthday, July 4th.
Jess Bagula
Yeah, she's the 4th of July. She's a year old. Pooping. All over the house. Still getting better.
Desiree Kravchick
Bowel movement.
Jenny Brady
Still needs a diaper.
Jess Bagula
Yeah. She got some stuff, though. Poor thing. I don't know how there's anything left, but she was. Anyways.
Desiree Kravchick
All right, who won? Unforced error,
Jess Bagula
I think Jess. I would say me or Dez.
Desiree Kravchick
Yeah, I'm gonna say you. I'm not. 15 times or.
Jenny Brady
Yeah, that's a lot of poo.
Jess Bagula
It was bad.
Desiree Kravchick
Vomit in the car.
Jess Bagula
It was just coming out. Oh, my God, it was so bad.
Madison Keys
It's coming out like lava.
Jess Bagula
And it's so hot, so they get so dehydrated, and it's just like this cycle of just. It's rough.
Desiree Kravchick
Okay, well, you do, like, cut her off from water, too.
Jess Bagula
I have to, because it's like if she drinks too much water, you know how it, like, kind of makes it worse? Yeah, in a way. Yeah. So it's like I have to balance the water intake, but then she's dehydrated, and I'm just like. I don't know what to do.
Desiree Kravchick
Give her some electrolytes.
Jess Bagula
Yeah, yeah, I tried to. Sometimes I give them a little coconut water, which helps.
Jenny Brady
Hey there, it's Jenny. Before this podcast continues, I need you to fill out 37 forms about your listening history. I'll wait. Just kidding. That would be ridiculous. Yet we all do it every time we see a doctor.
Jess Bagula
But new Amazon Health AI is different. It can connect your symptoms, your medical history to offer personalized care 24 7.
Jenny Brady
I've been using it for a while now, and it's so easy because it has all of my history stored right there, so I don't have to fill out anything or give context to what I'm asking.
Jess Bagula
Yeah, I'm a little paranoid about my moles, and I keep a close eye on them. One changed a little bit recently, so I asked Amazon Health AI about that and whether I need an appointment to get them checked out. They scheduled me an appointment in no time. Amazon Health AI is here. Healthcare just got less painful. Moving into tennis headlines. We're currently live at the end of the Center Novak Match. Yannick right now is serving for the match at 5, 4, and the third set. Um, well, how is everyone's Wimbledon recap? Anyone want to share how they felt like went dez?
Desiree Kravchick
Well, obviously wanted to go further, but, yeah, we lost in the second round to the girls who are actually in the semis right now, so I feel better about myself. Played mixed as well. We lost in the quarters with Neil Skepski. Um, he struggled on that Court three. He's like, I haven't won a breaker in, like, three matches on this court. I hate court three. But it's like the one that overlooks where you can. Where player dining is. And it's actually a really. It's a cool court to look over and also play on. But, yeah, wimby. I mean, obviously it's Wimbledon. It's still nice to be at and play and compete, but obviously wanted to
Jess Bagula
go further, but yeah, Yannick just won, by the way. 4, 4 and 4.
Desiree Kravchick
Wow.
Jess Bagula
So it's him and Zverev in the finals. Wow. Interesting.
Desiree Kravchick
Who's gonna win that,
Jess Bagula
Yannick? Sasha's serving really well, though. They were showing a lot of his serving stats and. Yeah, serving really well. Um, who. Anyone else have any recap, Maddie, anything to share?
Madison Keys
I am. I was pretty happy with how Wimbledon went down. I finished the match, and I was like, I think NOS is gonna win the tournament.
Desiree Kravchick
So.
Madison Keys
Yeah, we shall see. We don't know totally for certain yet because we are filming before the final. But, I mean, she's so good, as Jess also knows from a couple weeks ago. But yeah, I mean, tough match, and I got to play in center for the first time, which was fun.
Jenny Brady
So.
Madison Keys
Undefeated on center court. Love that.
Desiree Kravchick
Love that.
Jenny Brady
Wow.
Madison Keys
That's a win.
Jenny Brady
It's a great stat to have.
Madison Keys
Never put me out there again.
Jenny Brady
I'm a die on that hill.
Jess Bagula
Yeah, you never want to be on that court ever again. Just put me on court one. I'm undefeated on center.
Desiree Kravchick
Jess, yours.
Jess Bagula
Did you. Yeah, mine was good. I mean, Coco and I had a really close match. Like, had so many chances in the second set, but she played some really good points and served well. I felt like on. On some big points. And then the third set, she played really well. I mean, it was. It was really close. And then obviously, she had that crazy match against Mahova yesterday, which I didn't actually watch, but I got plenty of updates. And then I went and saw a lot of the highlights of, like, the crazy points that they had, especially in the tie break. Crazy.
Desiree Kravchick
The diving volley breaker.
Madison Keys
I was from Mukova. No, there was. There were insane volleys. The first one that she made, she must have hit, like, the very outside of the line, but it was the lowest volley you've ever seen. And it was like, from that moment on, the tennis just got insane.
Jess Bagula
And was that the one where she looked like she hit the ground? She literally, like, shoveled.
Madison Keys
She, like, almost like dove slash.
Jess Bagula
It was like, stabbed it. It was so. It was Crazy.
Madison Keys
As soon as she hit it, I looked up your. And I was like, oh, my God, did she make that? And then it just proceeded to get more insane. And it was like the most intense tiebreaker. I was like pacing and sweating and I was like. I mean, I'm like, not. You texted us in this match. And I was like, I'm dying.
Jenny Brady
I mean, it's just like crazy.
Desiree Kravchick
Oh, my gosh. I saw she was. Mukava was up. Mova was up.4 1 in the breaker 3. That's the last I saw. And then I didn't know the. Yeah, and then you updated us and I was like, oh, my Gosh, what's happening?
Jess Bagula
10 point tiebreakers are just like.
Jenny Brady
Yeah, it's long, but it's also so long.
Jess Bagula
It was like a 20 minute tie break. They said it was 18 minutes long,
Jenny Brady
but you could be down 7, 3 and still. Yeah, I just, you know, so weird.
Madison Keys
The three extra points feels like it's a. It's like seven extra games.
Jenny Brady
Yeah.
Madison Keys
Yeah.
Jenny Brady
It's like almost like set. I mean, it's half a set.
Madison Keys
Yeah, I guess.
Jess Bagula
That's crazy.
Madison Keys
Yeah.
Jess Bagula
Maddie, do you like how on center how you walk out together? I feel like that's. They kind of do it on one. Not really. You kind of just like walk out. But do you, like, on center court how they make you walk out or try to make you walk out, like at the same time standing next to each other? I thought it was kind of cool. And they don't really announce you. I like how they do that.
Desiree Kravchick
Oh, they don't announce you.
Jenny Brady
Yeah.
Madison Keys
And I think it's cool how they open the doors so that the fans outside the court can see you walk onto center court. I think it's really cool.
Jess Bagula
I think it's really cool how they did that. Like, the guys, like, stand, they like arm the door and then they kind of swing it open at the same time. And like, you have this grand entrance with your opponent. But yeah, I thought it was so cool how they don't announce and you just kind of walk out onto this really pretty grass court and everyone starts cheering. But I thought that was really cool.
Jenny Brady
Yeah, it's so different compared to every other tournament. Whereas, yeah, where it's usually one by one, the higher seed, higher ranked player is always second. And then as a fan, you always just see, like the last couple steps as, you know, you make your way onto the court as opposed to like the whole kind of tunnel and walkway that you go through. Very different.
Jess Bagula
I was thinking it would Be a cool picture. Like, I wish I'm sure I could find it, but I'm sure there's a picture of like me and Coco walking out at the same time. Like that would be a cool picture to like frame, like have a cool frame in your house of.
Madison Keys
If you could get one from the outside where you can like see through the doors and everything.
Desiree Kravchick
That is cool.
Madison Keys
That would be really cool.
Jenny Brady
Yeah.
Desiree Kravchick
Well, it's an. A very unique walk on.
Jenny Brady
Yeah.
Jess Bagula
Yeah. It was something different that none the. None of the other tournaments do. Another huge surprise of this Wimbledon was Arthur Ferry, the first British wild card to make the semifinals. He lost this morning against spare of. But I watched a lot of his matches. I don't really even know how or why, but he was just always coming back and winning in five sets. But he was playing incredible. And I kind of knew before that he was like a bit of a grass court specialist. So I wasn't that surprised when he won a couple rounds. But then obviously winning going into the semis was pretty wild. He played at Stanford and Yeah, he
Desiree Kravchick
did well at Queens as well though a couple weeks before. He had a couple good wins. But he was down two sets to one in a few of his matches. What he played Zizou Burgs? He was down a lot or. Yeah, a lot in that. And then I think. I can't remember his first round in Gregor.
Jenny Brady
Yeah.
Taco Bell Advertiser
Yeah.
Desiree Kravchick
But just riding that adrenaline rush too. There was one point because Craig used to coach him when he was younger. He stopped playing for a little bit and just wanted to see what he wanted to do and thought about quitting tennis. But it's crazy how one tournament can change.
Jess Bagula
And I think he grew up and went to school like right down the street.
Desiree Kravchick
Yeah.
Jess Bagula
So that's pretty cool.
Desiree Kravchick
Like 10 minutes away from Wimbledon. Yeah.
Madison Keys
And I think they said he's. He's gonna be like 36 in the world now.
Desiree Kravchick
Yeah.
Jess Bagula
Nuts. Tennis is like his whole year just changed.
Madison Keys
Yeah. Tennis is so crazy. One tournament and you're in everything. You're almost seated. Yeah, crazy.
Jenny Brady
Depending on which tournament it is.
Desiree Kravchick
And then you have mandatories.
Jess Bagula
Right.
Desiree Kravchick
Are you. If it's a certain ranking threshold. Right.
Madison Keys
I don't know.
Desiree Kravchick
What are you mandated to play? Oh, okay.
Jess Bagula
Yeah, maybe. I don't know if they. How they do that with someone hitting a ranking.
Madison Keys
I can barely keep the W.
Jenny Brady
I'm not doing WTA robot today, guys. Like, I'm not.
Desiree Kravchick
I just thought. I just assumed that for. For ATP and WTA that you'd mandated if you're like at least top 50 to play certain tournaments. That's what I thought.
Jenny Brady
You know what they say about assuming it makes a out of you and me.
Desiree Kravchick
That's true.
Jess Bagula
So does anyone have any picks now that we know the finals and Noskovo or is Verif center? I mean, I'm gonna go center.
Desiree Kravchick
I think Naskova's gonna win.
Jess Bagula
I think Naskova is gonna win center and move over.
Desiree Kravchick
I. I want center to win. So let's hope he wins.
Madison Keys
I think. Yeah, I mean, I think, I think Naskova is gonna win, but I also think it's gonna be a really good match.
Jenny Brady
Yeah.
Jess Bagula
The chat.
Madison Keys
They're both, they're both so talented.
Desiree Kravchick
Check him out.
Madison Keys
The checks on grass.
Jess Bagula
It's insane.
Desiree Kravchick
They're just producing so many players every single year.
Jess Bagula
Yeah.
Jenny Brady
What's in the water?
Jess Bagula
They're so good at tennis.
Madison Keys
They're so good.
Jenny Brady
Yeah.
Madison Keys
They're so men and women. There's always some. And then it's flooded with juniors. Yeah, you see juniors and they're like, oh yeah, they nine young Czech players that are unbelievable. And you're like, where, where do they coming from?
Jess Bagula
And it's not a very big country and they just like. And they're good in singles and doubles. I mean, how many good check players in doubles as well over the last.
Madison Keys
Like, they're all, they're all like really well rounded players where it's like, it's like they're all, they're all court players. They have great hands. They know how to do so many different things.
Desiree Kravchick
I know all of it.
Madison Keys
Do you guys just like, how do you just keep creating champions?
Desiree Kravchick
Tell us your secret.
Madison Keys
It really, it really is this.
Jess Bagula
I mean it's cool, but.
Madison Keys
Yeah.
Jess Bagula
I can't believe there's gonna be another. Another check winner. All right, so we are here on the Sunday after both of the men's and women's Wimbledon finals to do a little quick recap. We had Linda Noskova who ended up taking the title, and Yannick Sinner on the men's side. So why don't we start with the women's final? Because there was a lot of drama with that. Did anyone get to watch after the first set?
Desiree Kravchick
I watched from five. No, from three. Two in the second set. And then. Yeah, and then five, two. And then I know she had the five match points, but I thought, I didn't think much of a. Played as well as she probably wanted to. And I think Naskova is. Was running with it. But then towards the end she did Get a little tentative, of course, as you're gonna be in your first final, Grand Slam final.
Jess Bagula
I'm amazed that she came back and won it in the third. Yeah, that's just, like, incredible.
Madison Keys
I watched after the first set. I think I saw the rest of the match and I was, yeah, like you said, it was really impressive to have to have the match points in like a routine match and then not get them and then get to the, you know, change the third set. And apparently she took a tie break. Like when she took the break, the toilet break, she went and she stared at the trophy.
Desiree Kravchick
Yeah, no way.
Jenny Brady
Yeah, I saw that. She said, reading that, and she was like, I want to take the big one.
Madison Keys
Yeah, that is so, like when. When she went to the bathroom, she just, like, stared at the trophy and I was like, wow, that's like looking dead straight at what you want.
Jess Bagula
Yeah. Like she wasn't trying to.
Desiree Kravchick
To hide some motivation right there.
Jess Bagula
No.
Madison Keys
Yeah.
Jess Bagula
I thought it was cool to hear, like, her post match thoughts about, like, what Maddie said. She's like, I went to the bathroom, I just told myself, like, I splashed water on my face and that it was a new match and we were starting over and I was like, wow, that's like, that's hard to do. So it was more impressive. It was more impressive how she did it than if she would have won two and two. Cause I think she was up six two, five two. Yeah, she had a few points on return, literally didn't win a game, lost the second set, 7 5, and then was able to jump out quickly in the third because she reset so well. But that was. Yeah, that was wild and obvious. And honestly too, I think Mukova as well, she tends to play really well when she's behind. Like, she comes back a lot because she plays really well, like flashy, that all of a sudden, like when she gets really loose or maybe, I don't know, she's just like, screw this, I'm losing. It can go, like, really fast. And I feel like Linda has a big game too. So, like, yeah, she hits one double fault or like, maybe misses two balls and the next thing you know, it's only one break. Like, oh, shoot.
Desiree Kravchick
Yeah, I felt like Mukava couldn't really play her game in a way because she was trying to come into the net, but Naskova was trying to push her back a lot. And I feel like. Well, when I was watching the second set, it seemed like Mukovo wasn't dictating enough and she looked a little bit more Tentative. And then once she got back to 3, 5, she started loosening up and hitting her forehand a little bit more and getting into the points. And you can tell she was kind of getting a little bit of momentum.
Madison Keys
I feel like part of that is it might have looked like Mukava wasn't playing as well as she wanted to, but also Naskova was playing so well, and she hit such a big ball, and she dictates so much that she wasn't giving much of a. Any opportunity to play how she wanted. And then Naskova gets a little bit tight and the miles per hour maybe drops slightly, and then all of a sudden, Mukava can do all the things that she's great at. So I felt like it was really interesting to kind of watch them both, like, play really well at different times, kind of, because the other one's game was not matching up how they wanted it to against each other. It seemed like it was like multiple matches all within one match. And then when. Yeah, when Naskova was talking about her mom in the bald, I was sobbing.
Jess Bagula
I didn't see it live, but I saw the clip afterwards and I was like, oh, my God. Like, I know. I don't know. It was just so sweet, like, when she went to her box, and I feel like it always is, but, yeah, I think I read too, that her mom never got to see her play main draw Wimbledon.
Desiree Kravchick
She wanted to, and she.
Jess Bagula
She wanted to come. Yeah, yeah. And she. I don't think she ever quite did by the time she was in the main draw. And so I was just like, wow, what a. Like, an incredible story. And then, like, Martinez up there, average,
Madison Keys
like, I mean, she was bal.
Jess Bagula
Like, who's just like the top tier tennis player, but also like, check. And I just was like, this is too much. Like, it's too much going on. This is so. It was emotional.
Madison Keys
It was super, super funny because at one point in the. I think it was the. Maybe it was the third set. I forget when it was, but Martina was sitting next to Princess Kate, and Mukova hit this tweener in the middle of the point and ended up losing the point. But it was like, sick shot. And the Princess is, like, laughing and loving it. She's like, oh, this is amazing. And Martina is just like, she shouldn't have done that. They had such different reactions to the point. It was so funny.
Jess Bagula
I also think, too, the Czechs aren't known for being very emotional. So to see, like, Linda be emotional from winning. And then also Carolina in her acceptance speech Be emotional. I thought that made it more emotional because you usually don't see that type of. In genuine reaction from them. Yeah, it was like just so genuine and like. Yeah. Vulnerable. And you could tell that like the moment that they couldn't escape the moment, which I thought was very sweet.
Desiree Kravchick
And it's history for both of them. I mean, they're both check. Players playing in the final. Wimbledon.
Jess Bagula
Like, I mean, checks on grass, man. Like.
Madison Keys
Yeah.
Desiree Kravchick
I mean, you had a. Yeah. You played Linda in what?
Jess Bagula
Maddie and I both took Elsa.
Jenny Brady
Oh, yeah.
Madison Keys
And yeah, I lost around Wimbledon. Like, she's winning Wimbledon.
Jess Bagula
In hindsight, like, yeah. You're like, oh, it wasn't a bad loss. Like, we had a good scoreline. We didn't get the win. But she won Wimbledon. So like, what? Basically we could have won Wimbledon.
Madison Keys
Literally walked off the court, was walking to press, and everyone was like, oh, I'm so sorry. Like, are you so bummed? And I was like, no, guys, she's winning Wimbledon. Like, it's fine. I promise you. She's holding the trophy on Saturday.
Jenny Brady
One little stat. The last time two country women played in the finals of a Grand Islam was in 2017 when Maddie and so Sloan played. So.
Desiree Kravchick
Oh,
Jenny Brady
that's my little fun fact.
Jess Bagula
Okay, well, moving on. Jenny, maybe you can commentate more. Commentate. Comment more on Sinner.
Jenny Brady
Yeah.
Jess Bagula
Since I know you love him. Winning slams.
Madison Keys
Another one.
Jenny Brady
No, actually, I did watch a little bit of that match and the point before match point in the fourth set was the point of the match. I don't know if anybody else was watching. It was like.
Madison Keys
Was it like. It was like 26 ball rally or something?
Jenny Brady
Yeah. And then Zverev hit a drop shot and then Sinner ran up and like slid and hit like an angle drop shot back. And it was like just absolutely disgusting. And it was like these guys were sliding on the grass court. Like they were playing on clay.
Jess Bagula
It was like dirty. I don't understand. Yannick, like, literally is just skating around.
Jenny Brady
I'm like too.
Jess Bagula
It's crazy. I don't get it. Like, are they wearing different shoes? Like, I don't. I'm soaking clay courts.
Desiree Kravchick
Do you think they're used.
Jess Bagula
They don't understand.
Madison Keys
Figure out how to like, like get your. No, they're using grass shoes.
Jenny Brady
Yeah.
Desiree Kravchick
Are they using something that's so worn out or are they using something that's so. Like a brand new shoe?
Jenny Brady
No, they're using.
Madison Keys
They're using the same shoes that we're
Jenny Brady
not wearing special shoes.
Desiree Kravchick
I mean, I mean, like Are they using a new shoe every single match, or is it something that's so worn out that they have the ability to slide?
Jenny Brady
I don't know. Ask him.
Desiree Kravchick
Towards the center.
Madison Keys
Sinner cleaned his one pair of shoes so he clearly, like, rewore it.
Desiree Kravchick
The ones he let in.
Madison Keys
Yeah, yeah. So, like, it's the same. I don't understand how they keep their foot so light on the grass that it doesn't stop.
Desiree Kravchick
No. Ah, no.
Madison Keys
The only time I've split on grass was an accident.
Jess Bagula
Yeah, 100%. I think that they must be sliding. They must be so, like, kind of explosive that it's like the force through the ground is getting them to slide because I don't know how else they do that. But anyways, congrats to Yannick taking another Wimbledon title. He won it last year, right?
Jenny Brady
Yeah, yeah. Back to back.
Jess Bagula
Back to back.
Jenny Brady
Yeah.
Jess Bagula
No big deal.
Desiree Kravchick
They did their little champions dinner.
Madison Keys
Sinner has held 87 consecutive times against
Desiree Kravchick
Zverev, who's like, that's an insane.
Madison Keys
Arguably one of the best returners.
Jess Bagula
He's also, like, 7ft tall and he's so long. I don't know how you even hit nace against him. Like, I don't know how that's even possible.
Madison Keys
Because Sinner also didn't get broken by Novak, who, like, is the greatest retarder.
Jess Bagula
Did you hear Novak's comment? He was like, not anymore or something.
Desiree Kravchick
No, I didn't hear that.
Jess Bagula
Yeah, they said something about the center
Desiree Kravchick
changed to serve a little bit from last year.
Jess Bagula
His serve is so good. I think one of the best, like, in most improved shots. Like, we should have this, like, most improved shot on tour. They should give awards. Sinner serve. His serve is a joke. His wide serve on the AD side is insane. And every time I watch him, I'm like, oh. Like, I know that's his favorite serve. And, you know, it's like, kind of low percentage, like, there. You always think, oh, there's no way he's going for it again. Just like, hits an ace every time. I don't understand. Like, how did your serve get so much better?
Madison Keys
I thought it was pretty crazy because I think Darren. I think I heard Darren talking about it when he first started with Yannick. And, like, one of the big things was like, we need to improve your serve. That's your thing, basically. Like, pick someone to watch and then just try to copy their serve. And he watched John Isner and was just like, okay, got it.
Desiree Kravchick
That's my guy.
Madison Keys
And then from there, I mean, average surf yeah. And then it's like, it's. It's crazy that when you're at the top of the game or you're, you know, one of the three at the top of the game to, like, keep improving and being willing to change things when you're, you know, holding 87 consecutive times against people and someone comes in is like, yeah, we should make a tweak. The fact that he's like, yeah, okay, no problem.
Jenny Brady
Yeah.
Jess Bagula
Crazy. It's.
Desiree Kravchick
But that's what makes them so good, these top players. Like, they'll try and find every little tiny, like, 1% to make them better. And it's crazy because you would think, oh, I'm doing great. Why change anything? I'm winning Slams. Why change anything? But, yeah.
Jenny Brady
Yeah. Now Zverev is ranked, too, so he overtakes Carlitos. Wow. And he. I also saw. He said he hopes that he's no longer the third guy. Any. Like, he's trying to get rid of that stigma of being the third guy. And hopefully this kind of helps, but
Jess Bagula
I think it's helping.
Desiree Kravchick
Yeah.
Jenny Brady
Yeah. And, I mean, he just won.
Desiree Kravchick
Winning a Grand Slam, too.
Jenny Brady
Yeah.
Jess Bagula
Finals of Wimbledon. Not bad.
Jenny Brady
Yeah. Honestly, I thought he was looking really
Desiree Kravchick
good first after he won the first set.
Jenny Brady
First set and second set, too. I mean, Sinner obviously stepped up his 7 6, right? Yeah, yeah.
Jess Bagula
Breaker.
Jenny Brady
But then he, like, hyper extended his knee in the third, and.
Jess Bagula
Oh, yeah, I. I didn't watch, but I heard that he kind of slipped and it kind of. Everyone kind of said it. It kind of seemed like he got thrown off after that.
Jenny Brady
Yeah. And he said it affected his serve. He said he was moving fine, playing fine from the baseline and stuff, but, like, he couldn't really push off of his serve. And I mean, if he can't push
Jess Bagula
off his serve, like, he was also somebody that was serving incredibly well the entire tournament.
Jenny Brady
That. That's his.
Jess Bagula
That's a big deal.
Jenny Brady
Like, literally the reason why he got to the finals. So. But I don't know.
Desiree Kravchick
Should we talk about the ball? The Champions Ball.
Jess Bagula
Yes. Does. Taught. You can. You can lead the. Talk about the dance.
Desiree Kravchick
Well, every time.
Jenny Brady
It's his favorite.
Desiree Kravchick
Speaking of dance, Dancing with the Stars is starting this week.
Jenny Brady
Yeah.
Desiree Kravchick
Probe. Did you see that? Anyways, every year, Wimbledon hosts the Championship Ball, and the winners get to go to the event and the singles winner for men's and women dance with each other, which only happened recently. Again, like, the last few years. Because when I went to the Championship Ball, it was Rubak and Djokovic I don't remember them dancing, so I don't know if they brought it back or what. So I don't know if you guys saw the clip of Sinner and NASA.
Jess Bagula
Yeah, it was cute dancing.
Madison Keys
I thought they've always danced.
Jenny Brady
Yeah, I thought it was always a thing.
Desiree Kravchick
No, I know. It's definitely always a thing. I just don't remember them two dancing, if anything. Well, no, I think.
Jenny Brady
What were you doing at the ball?
Desiree Kravchick
Jazz. I was getting litty titty.
Jess Bagula
Yeah. So maybe. Maybe it was really cute. It was a cute moment.
Desiree Kravchick
And then he did a little spin. That was really cute.
Jenny Brady
Oh, yeah, I saw him do that last year with iga.
Jess Bagula
Yeah. It's always, like, so awkward, but I feel like Yannick does a good job of, like, making it kind of cute and funny because he's like, yeah, it's kind of awkward, but we also just won one woman, so let's just. Yeah, let's just have fun.
Jenny Brady
Yeah.
Jess Bagula
Yeah. Super cool. All right, well, we will let you guys get back to our original episode. Enjoy. What's on the schedule for everybody next. Next couple weeks, I think. Is anyone playing dc?
Madison Keys
I'm playing dc, Canada, Cincy, US Open.
Jess Bagula
Same for me.
Desiree Kravchick
Playing the first week. I just don't know which one. And then. Yeah, same schedule as you guys.
Jess Bagula
What would you be playing if you didn't play DC? What's the option?
Desiree Kravchick
Memphis.
Jenny Brady
Oh, nice.
Desiree Kravchick
250.
Jenny Brady
Yeah.
Jess Bagula
Tournament back in Memphis now. Yeah.
Jenny Brady
Wow. Throwback.
Taco Bell Advertiser
Yeah.
Madison Keys
I was going to say Memphis hasn't had the 250 in forever.
Jess Bagula
So long.
Desiree Kravchick
I don't think I've ever been to Memphis. I've been in Nashville.
Madison Keys
I know. I think the tournament would have been gone before you were for sure playing.
Jess Bagula
It was a long time ago, seems like.
Desiree Kravchick
But I thought playing that week instead of playing the week before U.S. open because there's a tournament in Monterey and then to fly there and then come back to US Open would just be a grind.
Jenny Brady
Yeah, it's a lot.
Desiree Kravchick
Yeah.
Jess Bagula
Yeah.
Desiree Kravchick
Plus double starts later the second year
Jess Bagula
of doing that at the U.S. open.
Desiree Kravchick
Yeah. They just haven't confirmed which date, though, does.
Jess Bagula
And I know another hot topic for you, specifically you, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey getting married.
Desiree Kravchick
Guys, I hope she hears this.
Madison Keys
Do you want.
Jess Bagula
Do you want to give us your. Your overall thoughts because you're the Swifty here of the group.
Desiree Kravchick
Yeah.
Madison Keys
Okay.
Desiree Kravchick
I will say I didn't believe it when there were all the hints of her getting married at msg. I. I thought my theory was, oh, she's just Diverting everyone there and then having it somewhere else. But then as there were things going on and clues, I was like, she's doing it at msg. And then when everyone was like, oh, like, ac. All these people. Okay, a thousand guests. That's a lot of people. I will say that's a lot of people. I don't know if I would invite a thousand people, but. But anyways, happy for her.
Jenny Brady
Happy for these people.
Desiree Kravchick
You know, Let them have their moment.
Jess Bagula
I, too, thought it was, like, a diversion. I thought, like, it wasn't. Like, it was just a trick. She was gonna do something somewhere else. Then she definitely got married there.
Desiree Kravchick
Yeah, but there was a whole thing, for sure. They would give everyone a different, like, not clue, I guess, clue or. Or part of the invitation so it wasn't gonna get leaked.
Jess Bagula
They watermarked it.
Jenny Brady
Yeah.
Desiree Kravchick
And then they give people QR codes as to where it is every. Like, every single week or every other day leading up to the wedding. Crazy. But, yeah, good for them. She got her fairy tale ending.
Jess Bagula
Jenny, any thoughts?
Jenny Brady
Great. I mean, I. There's not one thought in this brain.
Desiree Kravchick
Oh, I know what the thought is.
Jenny Brady
What's the thought? I don't know. It was like, everybody under the sun, like, was invited.
Desiree Kravchick
It's like, yeah, it's fair. People do that.
Jenny Brady
Great for them. Hey, that's what they wanted.
Jess Bagula
I can't believe they got married. Like, they actually are married. Isn't that. I know when they first started dating, like, whatever, four years ago, I didn't
Jenny Brady
think it was gonna happen.
Desiree Kravchick
It is weird to think Taylor Swift is married.
Jess Bagula
That.
Desiree Kravchick
Whatever, Travis. But, like, her itself, I think is weird because she's been dreaming about her, like, singing about it, and you hear all about these breakups, and then.
Jenny Brady
Yeah, she's had, like, 20 exes or something.
Desiree Kravchick
Well, she found. I feel like she wanted a date.
Madison Keys
The only thing. The only thing I can remember from their relationship was, like, wasn't. Didn't she show up in, like, a box at the first football game? Like, wielder and, like, a cart? No, like, she was, like, hidden in a box or something. Oh, my gosh.
Jess Bagula
Wait, I don't remember that. But I do remember there was, like, rumors she was there and everyone was flipping out.
Jenny Brady
Well, yeah, it was like the Taylor Swift NFL gate. I was like, everyone even watch an NFL game anymore without seeing Taylor Swift.
Desiree Kravchick
Every time they pan to her. Every time they'd pan to her, and it's like, oh, my God. And then they had so many more fans because of her, which I think is pretty cool. But the. I mean, I'd be annoyed panning to her every single break they had or, like. Like, second.
Madison Keys
Well, they were.
Jess Bagula
She was also dating, like, a very famous player.
Jenny Brady
Yeah.
Jess Bagula
On a. Huge. On a. On, like, the best team at the time. Like, they won the Super Bowl. Right. The first year they started dating, it was just, like. It was wild. And I can't believe. I can't believe they're actually married. That's so crazy. She ended up marrying the. The jock football player after all.
Desiree Kravchick
Yep.
Jess Bagula
So funny.
Madison Keys
Okay, well, speaking of weddings, it is wedding season.
Jess Bagula
Well.
Madison Keys
And all of you have some weddings to attend this next couple of weeks. Busy, busy. But, Jess, your wedding. We know your mom, I think you've told us, was maybe a bit more involved in the wedding planning than you were, but definitely. What was your, like, favorite part of your wedding? Were you and Taylor planning it more, or was it more? Your mom was planning it. Any Bridezilla moments, least favorite moments? All of the above.
Jess Bagula
Yeah. I felt like the worst part was the guest list. That was, like, stressful because I, like. We did it traditionally where, like, my mom, my side of the family was basically, like, throwing the wedding. My parents have a lot of friends. They wanted a lot of people. Taylor didn't want anybody. I was, like, somewhere in between. So it was very hard to come to, like, this agreement on, like, what people you're going to invite, which is very difficult. Other than that, everything else was great. So fun was doing my tasting. I love doing the wedding tasting. We flew back up and, like, finalized a bunch of things and did our tasting.
Desiree Kravchick
Loved.
Jess Bagula
It was so much fun. The wedding itself was great. I had a blast. I was actually very relaxed. Nothing really stressed me out. Actually felt like I was so relaxed. And I would say that my funny story of my wedding was that I ended up vomiting in the hotel hallway. And so I. I don't know if I've already told this story. I don't. Did I tell it on the podcast? The one thing they tell you in your wedding, which I did not listen to, which everyone needs to listen to. Jenny does. Yes. You have to eat. I did not eat. Everyone starts coming up to me. Cheers. Let's have a drink. Let's do a shot. You're like, oh, great, fine, whatever. Sure. I literally don't know if I ate one thing at my wedding. I got hammered. I pretty much, like, blacked out towards the end. And then, like, we got married at the Biltmore in Asheville. So there's a lot of like, really long winding roads. That's like on a big kind of estate property. So it's like a 10 minute drive because you're going pretty slow. And so we got into this car, we drive back. I get horribly car sick. The lady at reception tells us that she asked for our ID to get into our wedding suite. And this is at like 1am and Taylor's in a suit and I'm in a wedding dress.
Madison Keys
And we were like, our id, like,
Jess Bagula
what are you talking about? Like, you know who we are.
Madison Keys
Just give us the key.
Jess Bagula
It was wild. I was just in the. I was spinning in the lobby. Like, literally, I was spinning like, so bad. It took like another 10 minutes to get up to the room. I didn't make it to the room. I vomited in the hallway. And I was like, if you would have gotten the room key a little bit faster, I would have made it. But I didn't. So that's what happens. So that was my funny story. But my wedding was great. It was so much fun. It goes by so fast. Just remember to eat. That's all I gotta say.
Jenny Brady
Yeah.
Jess Bagula
Wait.
Jenny Brady
So we all went back to the Biltmore and for like, the little after party, and me and Asia were hanging with Jesse's family, and we were like, where's Jess? And then it got out that, oh, apparently Jess puked in the. Like, on her way to the suite and Taylor's downstairs at the bar eating peanuts and, like, drinking a beer.
Madison Keys
That was funny.
Jess Bagula
So, yeah, and then the one. Yeah, my. One of my best friends, Bri, was able, though, to take off all my jewelry, make sure I didn't lose anything. Got me a trash can, like, tucked me in. I was like. I just remember vaguely waking up at one point in the night and Taylor was just sitting on a chair watching tv, eating popcorn. And I was just like, that's the only thing I really remember. And then the next day, it was pretty funny.
Desiree Kravchick
That's pretty good.
Jess Bagula
Maddie, what about your wedding? We all. I mean, we were there, so we know.
Madison Keys
You say. Everyone knows.
Jess Bagula
Moments, worst moments,
Madison Keys
Bridezilla favorite. I don't think I really had any Bridezilla moments. I was very. I was kind of like Taylor, where I was like, had originally said my dream wedding was to get married in Vegas by an Elvis impersonator. And that plan was quickly axed. It was like, no. I was like, oh, okay. People have to be there. Got it. So we didn't have that many people at our wedding, which is funny because Jess and I were talking about it. And I think Taylor and Bjorn were there too. And Jess and Taylor were like, oh my God, I can't imagine only having. We had like 99 people. And Jess and Taylor were like, oh my God, I would have been so freaked out if there were only 99 people. Like, thank God we had so many more.
Jenny Brady
And.
Madison Keys
And Bjorn and I were like, oh my God, I can't imagine having any more people that would have been at our wedding.
Jess Bagula
You had a very good sized wedding. Yeah, like that was.
Madison Keys
Yeah. I, I mean I love our wedding. Our food was so good. The, the margarita at cocktail hour. I still like dream about that.
Jenny Brady
So good.
Madison Keys
The Pittsburgh cookie table. My mother in law worked.
Desiree Kravchick
Oh, I took very hard. I took a lot of those home.
Madison Keys
She worked very hard on the cookie table and it was a hit. I don't know. It was super fun. We got married at the. We got married in Kiewa river by the Dunlin just outside of Charleston. And it was beautiful. And luckily it turned out to like not be super hot. It was actually a little bit chilly, which was good because we were in a tent. But yeah, I mean I loved my wedding. I still like look at pictures all the time and I'm like, oh, so fun. Let's do it.
Jess Bagula
But we did.
Madison Keys
Not only did we eat, but our catering company, we love and same thing. The taste testing was like the best part. The only thing was it was like first thing in the morning for us and it was so much food and Bjorn doesn't really drink. So I tried all of the alcohol. So I was so full and so drunk by like noon on like a random Thursday. But our catering company was amazing and they made us goodie bags. So at the end of the night we had like a full two full items of like every single thing that was on our menu. And we went back to the hotel and opened it up and Taylor and Jenny went to town on our good evening.
Jenny Brady
I was just about to say, oh wait, I literally ate all of the meals.
Madison Keys
That's okay.
Desiree Kravchick
Is this when we were in the lobby?
Jenny Brady
Yeah.
Madison Keys
Yes.
Jenny Brady
And the cake doing tiktoks.
Madison Keys
The cake. Oh my God, the cake was so good.
Jess Bagula
The cake.
Desiree Kravchick
I don't even know if I got to the cake.
Jess Bagula
Oh, the cake.
Madison Keys
So good. What did it.
Desiree Kravchick
I got to the cookie table.
Madison Keys
An olive oil cake. Yeah, olive oil cake with like a raspberry situation and white buttercream. Oh my God, it was so good.
Desiree Kravchick
Oh, the floral decoration was really pretty.
Jess Bagula
Yeah, the flowers looked awesome.
Madison Keys
Oh my God, my flowers. I definitely went over budget on flowers was worth it. What is everyone's favorite part of a wedding?
Jenny Brady
Oh, well, when. When you walk down the aisle. Oh, when the, when the bride walks down the aisle.
Jess Bagula
Yeah. Everyone gets so emotional.
Jenny Brady
I cried. Yeah.
Taco Bell Advertiser
Yeah.
Madison Keys
I always love that.
Jess Bagula
I agree.
Jenny Brady
Yeah. I think because it's like such raw emotion and. Yeah. Like the, you know, the, the after the, you know, the celebration and everything is fun, but like, I don't know. Because everybody is like there for you.
Desiree Kravchick
Yeah.
Jenny Brady
I don't know. I feel like it's really special.
Desiree Kravchick
I love looking at when the bride walks down and then also looking at the groom to see if he shed it, shed a tear. So when I was at Maddie's wedding, I was like, bjorn.
Jenny Brady
I was just looking at Maddie and I was like.
Desiree Kravchick
But it was really. Yeah, no, I think, I think. Were we sitting next to each other? Yeah, Jenny. Yeah, I was.
Jenny Brady
And we were like, I'm gonna cry.
Desiree Kravchick
Oh, my God.
Madison Keys
We were like, don't, don't do it. Don't do it. Not the makeup.
Jess Bagula
And then I was like, wow, Christine looks freaking awesome.
Desiree Kravchick
Yeah, we were like, we were like, she's got.
Jess Bagula
She looks hot.
Desiree Kravchick
Damn.
Bill Simmons
Wow.
Jess Bagula

No, just Duracell. Remember, goats only trust goats because they're built different. And Messi only trusts Durace.
Madison Keys
Okay, we had some fans write in some of their wedding experiences.
Desiree Kravchick
Oh, boy.
Madison Keys
Someone bumped into the champagne glass tower and the entire thing got smashed. You know what's funny? I thought about doing one at our wedding, and I was like, I'm way too much of a klutz. I will take that thing down.
Jess Bagula
Oh, man, that's so sad.
Desiree Kravchick
Awful.
Madison Keys
Like, yeah, that sucks.
Jess Bagula
And, you know, like, you're not getting that.
Madison Keys
Well, and also imagine. Imagine the sound of every single glass breaking.
Desiree Kravchick
You're too stunned to look to do anything. You're just watching them fall, and then
Jess Bagula
they gotta clean it up. Hopefully it didn't ruin anything else. Oh.
Desiree Kravchick
Oh, geez.
Jess Bagula
Not good.
Madison Keys
Okay. At the bachelor party, one of our best friends ended up in a Mexican jail.
Jenny Brady
Oh, no.
Desiree Kravchick
Honestly, makes for a great story.
Madison Keys
Great story.
Jenny Brady
Great story. Hopefully he got out.
Jess Bagula
Yeah.
Madison Keys
Yeah. Hopefully he got out on time and everything was fine. But great story.
Desiree Kravchick
Made it.
Madison Keys
At the reception, when giving the blessing, the minister called me the wrong name.
Desiree Kravchick
Oh, my God. It's like Friends.
Madison Keys
Yeah.
Desiree Kravchick
Does anyone see that episode?
Jess Bagula
Yes, Rachel.
Desiree Kravchick
I take Rachel.
Jess Bagula
Well, except that was the groom. That was.
Desiree Kravchick
No, I know, but still, that is awful.
Madison Keys
Okay, do you, like, say something in the moment? Do you.
Desiree Kravchick
Do you go, oh, but I hope
Jess Bagula
you, like, made a joke out.
Desiree Kravchick
Is it an ex of someone? Or is it, like, someone. Just a random name, like, because that makes sense.
Madison Keys
I hope that the minister doesn't know the ex's names.
Jenny Brady
Yeah. Instead of calling him, like, Karen, maybe he said Sharon. I don't know. I just pulled out my ass.
Madison Keys
Oh, my God. Okay. One time I was at a wedding at a family's farm and the pig tripped the bride.
Jenny Brady
Wow.
Bill Simmons
Stop.
Desiree Kravchick
That's so funny. Is that on America's Funniest Videos or Funny Stone Videos? Oh, my God.
Madison Keys
AF
Jess Bagula
down the aisle. What was going on?
Madison Keys
Is she with the pig? Like, I don't know. I feel like I need to hear.
Jenny Brady
Yeah. Were they just roaming around?
Madison Keys
Who let.
Desiree Kravchick
Who let them out?
Jenny Brady
Who?
Jess Bagula
Who?
Bill Simmons
Who?
Madison Keys
My sister was four hours late to her wedding because her and my mom were stuck in the elevator.
Jenny Brady
Wow.
Desiree Kravchick
Well, that's. I would be so bad luck. Oh, my gosh.
Jess Bagula
Yeah, that would suck.
Madison Keys
Four hours. Can you imagine how stressed you would be just sitting in your wedding dress in an elevator for four hours?
Jess Bagula
I wondered like, if she was able to still, you know, like, a lot of people have, like, time constraints with the reception or like the ceremony where you are. I hope that she actually got to still have her wedding. Yeah.
Desiree Kravchick
Let us know.
Jenny Brady
Geez, that's crazy. Imagine being a guest and being like,
Jess Bagula
did she run away?
Madison Keys
Where is she?
Jenny Brady
Did she get cold feet?
Jess Bagula
Oh, my gosh.
Jenny Brady
The husband. Ah, she got cold feet.
Madison Keys
Yeah. I hope they had reception. Yeah, there was reception and there was a cell phone.
Jenny Brady
Surely, like the elevator. They're like. They're not the elevator. Like the hotel would call or something. I don't know.
Madison Keys
My mother in law wore white to my rehearsal dinner.
Jess Bagula
I mean, that.
Jenny Brady
Yeah.
Madison Keys
Just that happens way too often.
Desiree Kravchick
It happens a lot.
Jess Bagula
It does.
Desiree Kravchick
Just at a wedding.
Madison Keys
Yeah.
Desiree Kravchick
And that happened.
Jess Bagula
Oh, wow.
Madison Keys
Really?
Desiree Kravchick
Yeah.
Jess Bagula
That's so.
Desiree Kravchick
But it's interesting because.
Madison Keys
Yeah.
Desiree Kravchick
I don't know if people. It would never cross my mind to wear any white. Like I've wore white shoes to a wedding. I don't know if that is frowned upon thoughts.
Jenny Brady
No, I've worn white shoes.
Madison Keys
Okay.
Desiree Kravchick
Okay. But it was.
Jenny Brady
Think about that.
Desiree Kravchick
Floral and. Yeah. I don't know.
Jenny Brady
I just.
Desiree Kravchick
Or maybe it was more so on the cream side. So maybe she didn't think it was white.
Madison Keys
I don't know. I would just never question.
Jenny Brady
Yeah.
Madison Keys
Even when people. And this is for the in the city viewers, if you're ever questioning the color of your dress. It's too light and too close to white. Don't do it.
Desiree Kravchick
I will say I went to a wedding in November and I wore a yellow dress. And I was like, this is like yellow. Like it's not Like a light yellow. And I was. It was a nighttime event and any picture I took, it was yellow. It wasn't. But then I was like. I got to the reception and the mom that I'm close with, she was like, some of the people, some of the guests here thought you were wearing white because what. The flash goes off like, it looks like you're wearing white. And I was like, no, I'm wearing yellow. But then it made me self conscious because I was like, well, I don't want them to think that I.
Bill Simmons
Why would.
Desiree Kravchick
I would never wear white. So I think maybe yellow's a little bit too.
Madison Keys
The flash is what's causing it to look white for one and a half seconds. Like, people can go touch grass if you're walking around.
Desiree Kravchick
But that's the thing.
Madison Keys
Dress.
Desiree Kravchick
But yeah. So I was like, okay, maybe yellow isn't. Isn't the vibe. But yeah.
Jess Bagula
I don't even like matching the wedding colors.
Madison Keys
No. I try to find out what the colors.
Jenny Brady
Yeah.
Jess Bagula
I don't want to look like a
Madison Keys
bridesmaid if I'm not in the.
Desiree Kravchick
I know.
Jenny Brady
Imagine. Oh, yeah.
Desiree Kravchick
Do you think on wedding invitations they should put the color scheme, but. Or do people not really know the color scheme by then anyways?
Jenny Brady
Oh, that's a good idea.
Madison Keys
Sometimes you don't. Or maybe on the website, I don't know, certain.
Jenny Brady
Or on the website.
Madison Keys
On the website.
Jess Bagula
Yeah.
Jenny Brady
Yeah, I'll be wearing white.
Desiree Kravchick
I am here.
Madison Keys
Okay. The one last one and maybe the worst one. His sister slept in our room that night.
Jenny Brady
That's weird.
Madison Keys
Weird.
Desiree Kravchick
Okay. I like context on that. That's.
Madison Keys
I don't like that.
Jenny Brady
Yeah.
Jess Bagula
I don't even need anything.
Desiree Kravchick
There's gotta be a reason why.
Jenny Brady
No context or no context. Get out.
Jess Bagula
Don't love it.
Taco Bell Advertiser
Gtf.
Desiree Kravchick
Yeah, she can go find someone else to say. Oi.
Jess Bagula
Yeah, that's weird.
Madison Keys
If I, like. If I had just gotten married and my sister was like following me into my room after, I'd be like, what are you doing, Montana? I'll go get you your own room.
Jess Bagula
Get out.
Desiree Kravchick
Montana's still doing TikTok. Let's do a tick tock.
Jenny Brady
I want to show you my splits.
Desiree Kravchick
Yeah, let's do a tick tock.
Madison Keys
No good. I'll be. I'll be out in the hallway in 20 minutes to do a tick tock. Just go out there. Yeah.
Jenny Brady
Lock the door. Deadbolt it.
Madison Keys
See you later.
Jess Bagula
Okay. Going into who Am I? I had somebody from last week. My clues were. Reached a career high of number six in the world. Would work with animals if he wasn't a tennis player. And his favorite team is Fiorentina, which is a football club in Florence, Italy. I think everybody got it right pretty quickly. It is Matteo Baratini.
Desiree Kravchick
Mateo.
Jess Bagula
Matteo is how we like it.
Madison Keys
We need the voice note of Francis Fo saying it just to put it in.
Jess Bagula
Yes, exactly. Every time that we mention him in the podcast, we just play the voice note of foe saying Mateo. It's so funny. But, yeah, he had a good tournament. He's been playing well, so he was my pick. Des, do you want to give your clues?
Desiree Kravchick
Okay, so my clues are her. Her cool demeanor is her secret weapon. She enjoys watching wrestling, and she's volunteered at a school in Tanzania during her off season.
Jess Bagula
Oh, I already know. No, yeah, I know.
Madison Keys
I know who this one is.
Desiree Kravchick
We'll let the fans leave their comments.
Madison Keys
I thought you were gonna throw here normal clues at us.
Desiree Kravchick
I thought these were pretty normal, so.
Madison Keys
No, they are. I'm saying you're normal. Where it's like in third grade, her
Desiree Kravchick
teacher think about it.
Madison Keys
Color.
Jenny Brady
You know, some people might find that was magenta.
Madison Keys
Know that?
Desiree Kravchick
Maybe next time.
Jenny Brady
All right, let's move on to some fan questions from Kiara. If the WTA tour had a talent show, who would win and what would they do?
Madison Keys
We've already seen Marta is, like, a gymnast.
Jenny Brady
Yeah.
Jess Bagula
Mohova sings and plays guitar a little bit. Remember, she used to post this video.
Desiree Kravchick
Does anyone here have a special talent? Jess would be doing MMA fighting or whatever it was called.
Jess Bagula
I'd be, like, breaking, like, karate, like, the wooden board. I be like, yeah, wooden slate.
Madison Keys
I can move shockingly heavy pieces of furniture around my house by myself because I do it when my husband's not home.
Jess Bagula
I feel like. Jenny, do you have any hidden talents?
Jenny Brady
I don't know. I can't sing. I can't dance. I have no rhythm.
Desiree Kravchick
Hey, you've done a tick tock.
Jenny Brady
I can't crochet.
Desiree Kravchick
You can build legs.
Jenny Brady
Doesn't. Doesn't. Doesn't Mira play with slime or play DOH or something? Wasn't there, like, something on Twitter?
Jess Bagula
Someone busted fake news?
Desiree Kravchick
Yes.
Jess Bagula
Having a slime account
Desiree Kravchick
or something.
Jess Bagula
Like. Yeah, yeah, it's hilarious. I'm trying to think. Who else?
Jenny Brady
I don't know. I don't think I have any hidden talents.
Madison Keys
We should ask players.
Jenny Brady
Or they're hidden from a talent show.
Desiree Kravchick
They're fun fact. Yeah, we should ask players box talent show.
