Season 2 Episode 8 of the positivity podcast. Mark is an exceptional one-liner comedian. It won him a place in Dave’s prestigious Best Joke of The Fringe in Edinburgh 2017. His solo show at the festival, One-Linerer was also a huge hit, with sell out shows every day and was nominated Best Show by the Amused Moose Comedy Award Fringe Show 2017. He then continued this success with his follow-up show, One-Linererer, which was also a sell out! Mark is constantly on the rise and since being in the finals of several noteworthy competitions, such as Leicester Mercury Comedian of The Year, So You Think You’re Funny and the NATY Award, he has been in high demand for the top UK comedy clubs, such as Glee, Manford’s Comedy Club, Comedy Central and Just The Tonic, headlining the majority of them. Also, he has been recently supporting Seann Walsh, Rob Beckett and Rob Brydon on their national tours, as well as one off shows supporting Michael McIntyre, Sean Lock and Jack Dee. Season 2 Episode 7 of the positivity podcast. Nicola "Hurricane" Hopewell is Worksop's fist female professional boxer and she has already amassed an impressive CV but as you'll hear although this is just the start! She currently holds the Professional Boxing Council (PBC) International title and World Boxing League (WBL) European title. As an amateur Nicola won a number of titles including the National Amateur Development Championship, East Midlands Flyweight title belt and the Central England Flyweight title but what comes next is what will make her a house hold name she has just moved to the BBBOC so she can chase her first world title and I'm sure after you listen to this episode you'll agree if anyone is going to be the winner it's Nicola! Season 2 Episode 6 of the positivity podcast. CORIE MAPP was born in Bridgetown, Barbados, and followed his dream to serve in the British Army. He travelled to the UK, joined The Life Guards and, to his initial horror, as he had never sat on a horse before, his first regimental duty was to undergo riding instruction. Corie was the first black Barbadian to ride on Trooping the Colour, and to perform other ceremonial duties in London. In 2008, he was posted to the Household Cavalry’s armoured regiment, where he served with Prince Harry. This was followed at the end of 2009 by a tour in Afghanistan where, the armoured car that he was driving ran over an IED. Being a double amputee has not deterred Corie from becoming a remarkable sportsman including participating in the Invictus Games, and then winning numerous international para bobsleigh world titles. His performances have brought laughter and joy to so many appearing alongside Rowan Atkinson in the very first episode of Mr Bean and then again in various hit TV series’s. He has had multiple film roles sharing the screen with household names like Michael Gambon and Sacha Barron Cohen. He is more recently known for playing Patrick Truman for the last 20 years in Britain’s most successful soap. Receiving an Outstanding Achievement Award in 2018 for his TV work. Rudolph is no stranger to awards having received an OBE and CBE for his acting and foundation work helping disadvantaged young people into the entertainment world. Season 2 Episode 1 of the positivity podcast. Chesney Hawkes is most known for his U.K. number one and USA top ten "the one and only." However his love for music is endless and cover almost every style you could imagine the singer songwriter even has written and worked on musicals. He started his career at 19 on the big screen in the title role of "buddy's song" from the soundtrack came "the one and only." He is a dedicated family man with an inspirational way of involving them all in his work and who would look else where when he has some very talented musicians in the family. He describes his wife as his saviour which you can't help but love especially as I understand what that feels like. The other main love in his life is the hammers (West Ham football club). Carole Baskin really needs no introduction a star of the hit Netflix “documentary” and for all the wrong reasons she is known world wide as the wicked witch type character. As it turns out this image couldn’t be further from the truth Carole is a lovely lady who is on a mission to save all the big cats through her work within conservation and striving to change the way Policy surrounding the keeping of cats is carried out. She is someone who has gone through severe trauma and has come out fighting every time a strength some might say like no other but used in tiger king to sell a false narrative around her ex husbands disappearance we talk openly about this in the podcast and with research I personally see other individuals who need to answer some questions on that disappearance. Rachel left the U.K. to chase her singing dreams in New York at a time where new music was coming to the fore front with progressive artists like Madonna. She then was invited to join a huge Dutch band where she made her name as a pop star before becoming a top stylist. She now works with some amazing stars and uses her unique styling skills to make her clients not only look amazing but feel amazing too. Rachel came through her own personal battle with cancer and applied the lessons she learned to her personal life now.
