A test of the Anchor system

The founders of Distil Union, Nate Justiss and Lindsay Windham welcome me into their store and studio to learn more about their success story. From working at Phillips, to taking the entrepreneurial leap away from freelance it was fun to learn how their union formed. Even more exciting was the reveal that one review on Slate from customer Will Oremus doubled their business last year. Amazing! Near the end of the interview, Nate and Lindsey tell us more about the event they are hosting on May 25 - From Maker to Market. They've invited me to speak as part of a three person panel. Can't wait to talk shop with the group. Tickets are free, but space is limited. Reserve your spot now: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/from-maker-to-market-tickets-25176283943

It's a business update - straight from me to you. Item One: Diving straight head first into an issue I'm not supposed to be discussing - the request for original Alesya Bags. I reveal my feelings about the bag and problems around producing it again. Item Two: Interns! I'm looking for two interns this summer - one in Public Relations and the other in Video Production. Payment: Your every own Alesya Bag. Item Three: The week ahead - are we out of leather? Yes we are. It's now top of the to do list.
