B
Bet Nija Lainey Hamilton, and this is the read. Thank you for joining us.
A
Thank you indeed. Here we are, the middle of August. I think it's still Leo season, so get it out y' all system.
B
Yeah, it sits there for a while and then come the real divas of the zodiac. Oh, yeah, it's about to get insufferable.
A
Let's get our program started. Going to drag your Thursday. Although y' all don't seem to mind. Bless your hearts. This week in black excellence, we're going to give honor to one Dr. Monica Baskin. Monica L. Baskin, to be. In fact, she has just been named the first black woman to lead an NCI National Cancer Institute. Designated cancer center. And I think one of nine women in total who go, wow. Yeah. Nine women currently serving as directors of comprehensive cancer centers in the country. Bath. A nationally recognized health equity researcher and population scientist. She's been working incredibly hard throughout her career on cancer prevention, engagement within the community, health equity. As we mentioned, she's done extensive research on behavioral, social, and environmental factors that can affect screening, treatment, survivorship, and that particularly in rural and medically underserved, underserved.
B
Amen.
A
Knew that one didn't make sense. Underserved communities.
B
Oh, yes. I see her dad died of cancer. So. Damn.
A
Yeah.
B
Maybe that this means the motivation.
A
Yeah. And went and tapped right into my heart because I think my Grammy. And so, yeah, any black faces, particularly black women in the field working to prevent it means a lot to many, including me. So shout out to Dr. Baskin of Richmond, Virginia. She's going to be the next director of VCU Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center. So go give her in Virginia. Virginia. However y' all want to be referred to as. I listen to this. Give him some love and some congratulations. She begins on August 3, which is passed already. So clap, clap.
B
Ooh, I see she went to Emory and Georgia State. Work, Miss Girl Emery. That's good school.
A
Very good school.
B
All right, Miss Girl. Congratulations.
A
Let's get into our Hot topics this week. Gonna start by another story that I actually saw, because then we can. Mattel's making a Whitney Houston Barbie doll. Wow. Have you seen it?
B
It's like, I thought it was fake at first. I was like, no way.
A
I want to dance with somebody. Whitney. Yeah. And I'm just going to say, folks, I will clothesline you and your baby. And that's just what you can understand. Like, I don't know.
B
It's so I can't find it. And I can't find the Angel Reese Barbie doll either. That one is also gone. Like, God damn. Y really snatched them all up. I even checked Target. I said, lord, forgive me, but Target didn't have none either. I said, wow, wow, wow, wow. Okay, so this is how we doing? All right. Rude.
A
And the worst part about it is people are going to take this $60 Barbie, and I'm sure it's already up for $375.
B
Absolutely it is.
A
And that's where you can tuck in both my titties and put them in your face. I'm not.
B
This is what I'm saying. I'm not doing. The retail price for that Angel Reese Barbie is $35. I am not paying 10 times that for a toy that I would also never even fucking open. I would just sit and look at like, I'm not doing it, girl.
A
There's the Aaliyah Barbie. There's the Cher from Clueless Barbie. There's the Issa Rae Barbie behind me.
B
Oh, yeah, I got them all. The Halle Bailey. The. I have.
A
I have the Halle Bail.
B
Some years ago, Barbie sent us a bunch of dolls. Like, just like the Mae Jemison doll or something like that. Like, it was a few different ones. I'm like, oh, yeah, I'm keeping. And not one of them hoes have
A
came out the box now. Not one Halle's out the box. Issa's out the box. But that's because I have a Halle in the box and an Issa.
B
Right? Because you have multiples. Right?
A
Let's be honest. But let's also discuss the fact that those were purchased at retail.
B
Yes, they were value, right? Right. But y' all snatched up them Angel Reese's. And I waited too long for the Whitney Houston. Cause I just knew niggas was playing too much, and I was like, this is not real. Please leave chatgpt alone. And then by the time I figured out it was real, it was too late.
A
So I'm sick. Me, too. I am sick.
B
Nauseous.
A
I am fucking sick. Look at the hair.
B
I know. It looks so. No, it looks so good. That Whitney. That I want to dance with somebody, dog. I'm like, what. What made y' all even do this now?
A
Like, right, right.
B
It just seems so random. But that's why I was like, it can't be real. But fuck, man, it is.
A
It's so gorgeous.
B
It's really beautiful. Like, it looks like Whitney. It's so good.
A
It literally looks like Whitney. And honestly, in terms of a Barbie doll's hair, yeah, this is some of, like, the nicest hair I've seen on a Barbie in a minute.
B
Oh, yeah. I mean, it's gonna be a mess if you actually try to do anything with it, but bitch, right? Them first 20 minutes, you're gon. Time of your life.
A
The time of your life, girlfriend.
B
Oh, but y' all sold it out, y'. All.
A
And you want to know how gay I am? I know how to. I know how to do a Barbie doll hair.
B
Of course you do. Of course you do.
A
It's not that. It's not that different than doing your hair. It's just you'd probably use ingredients you'd find under the sink, right? Rather than hot water in your bath, because that's Plastic.
B
Of course. You know how to do a Barbie toilet detergent?
A
Just a touch.
B
Oh, see?
A
Wow. That. I've been there with them. Then you have to condition. No, I know how to. I have dolls. I have toys.
B
There's probably somebody out there who removes the fake hair from their dolls and gives them real hair without somebody does that.
A
Question. Not only does someone do it, Crystal, they have 5 million followers.
B
Yeah, they.
A
Right.
B
Not only do they do it, they afford their Barbie habit by doing this crazy. Making little videos so other people can see they Barbies with 100% yakis.
A
Literally. They sell customs because they have to. At that point it would be just spitting at money.
B
Right.
A
They like that person is rich.
B
They are. They are.
A
And famous.
B
And I'm glad they found their niche. That's great for them.
A
Me too.
B
I'm just devastated that I didn't get a chance to get this doll that's heartbroken. Yeah.
A
Deceased. Oh, and one of my favorite. Whitney. Look, let's just move on.
B
Oh. It was unveiled at the Legacy of Love gala, a charity event hosted by the Whitney Houston Legacy Foundation.
A
Okay.
B
Okay.
A
And you still a time y'.
B
All. Y' all snatched it right the up, bro.
A
Damn, I'm disgusted. Okay, maybe Mattel. No, no, maybe.
B
They probably won't.
A
They'll do another job. Capitalism is capitalism.
B
Yeah, but they call this one a collector's edition, so it just feels like they're probably not going to run back in the. In the lab.
A
Is it a collector's edition if you're allowing people who don't collect shit to sell it for 50 times what you're selling as to. To people who actually do collect them. Is that what's happening? The scalping thing? I'm so sick of it. Across industries. It is so wretched and it's actually insane how many businesses have now been erected in the name of reselling you shit.
B
Oh yeah.
A
For 300,000, baby.
B
This plastic shit y' all got off AliExpress. Yeah, it's. It's getting bad. But I. Unfortunately, the fact that it is a collector's item just means that people are gonna be. I'm happy for the. The Whitney Houston fans and the hardcore Barbie collectors who got their hands on it, but the people who was just looking to write to hit a lick girl. Annoying.
A
They're the same people who go down to like. Like Costco and Punch 12 year olds in the face for Pokemon cards.
B
Oh, like them people at baseball games that push a kid over to catch the home run.
A
No. You will fully see when these, like, new popular Pokemon cards collections drop, which shout out to Pokemon cards. Because I'm sure you was legit when they. When the figs was playing.
B
This is what I'm saying. What do you mean? Pokemon card? Like the actual physical card. The kids are still buying it.
A
Yes.
B
Wow.
A
They're like. Like baseball cards or. Or any other collectibles. They're still valuable and people selling them for this, that, and the third. And then Logan Paul's like, look, I have the one Pikachu that came out of a living Pikachu and that paid $5 billion for it. Whatever, right? Would these grownups really be at Walmart when the new ones drop, physically assaulting one another?
B
I did see something about store employees having to go in and do something with the boxes to keep these weirdos from, like, weighing them out. Because apparently the ones with, like, the special cards were slightly heavier than the regular ones. So people were taking scales to, like, fucking Walmart and Target and weighing out the Pokemon card boxes to decide which ones to buy. So this is actually too much. This is insane.
A
Not only should you not notice.
B
Unreal.
A
You should not have the bravery and the confidence. You shouldn't have the comfort within to go anyplace with a scale and measure things.
B
Right? Right. Like, come on. So I don't know. I guess now they gotta walk.
A
Measure the grapes at Publix. Measure, measure, measure, measure. The cornbread men.
B
Yeah. Oh, no. Because why is the. I saw this on TikTok too. People like, okay, this butter say it's 112 grams, but then I weigh it and it's 105.
A
Like, that's an issue.
B
What's really going on? Where's my shit? No, where's my. Where's my shit? Y' all are whipped butter. No,
A
stay whipped.
B
Them sticks of butter are not whipped.
A
Yeah. I don't know. Maybe they think people just won't be like, I'm going to weigh the butterfly.
B
But like, girl, we can tell the way that this Shrinkflation shit. Yeah, they, they. It's really grimy out here what these companies are doing.
A
But yeah, they got General Mills and all the girls quaking.
B
Oh, yeah. Everybody's giving you less and charging the same or more for less.
A
But everyone else is also like, let me see how many Cheerios are actually in.
B
Oh, yeah. And n are like, it's that time. And what I'm going to do is count the Cheerios. So don't piss me off. General Mil.
A
So if you get caught in a lie, then what?
B
Then what?
A
No shade. I just ate half a box of Honey Nut Cheerios in bed last night to the point where I fell asleep with some of it still in the bowl and luckily woke up.
B
Oh, my God.
A
And I wasn't completely covered.
B
I was about to say disaster waiting to happen.
A
Wow, a Honey Nutto. Anyway, you know what is all bad? Leprosy. And it's alive and well in Florida. Girl. 19 cases of leprosy.
B
There is no way in the state
A
of Florida in the United States of America this year, 2026.
B
Wow.
A
So the season finale of Earth has been fierce.
B
Oh, my God. What the hell?
A
Now, it seems like it's been central and a bit of northeast, but there are two cases in Miami. Okay, Miami Dade County.
B
Here we go.
A
Leprosy. Leprosy.
B
I mean, does this have anything to do with y' all not believing in vaccines or science or anything like that? Like, how did. How does leprosy even show up in your community? And an outbreak? I don't even understand how this happens. I. I thought that died out with the biblical times. Right, Right. I legit have not heard of this outside of the Bible. Avoid touching or holding armadillos. Do not hunt or eat armadillos.
A
Well, there it is.
B
Have y' all been catching and eating wild armadillo? Oh, my God.
A
It's Florida. They'll catch and eat iguanas, baby. What I was gonna say, they will also knock over a truck, like a truck of monkeys, and then steal them. Oh, yeah. And make their own circus.
B
And God only knows, right, what y' all do with them after. Yikes. I was just. I googled it, and the article I pulled up said, like, how to avoid exposure. And first three are all about avoiding armadillo contact. I'm like, what are y' all doing in Central Florida for 19 cases? Did you. Did you serve it at a wedding? Like, oh, okay, all right, all right.
A
I've been out country across the state.
B
I've been out country. All right? I just would literally never. Girl.
A
And so when people are like, oh, you're from Florida. I want you to understand that this has nothing to do with me. It will never have anything to do with me or anybody that I know.
B
Right? This is not your culture.
A
It is nowhere near it.
B
The leprosy is not part of your people and yalls story. It just isn't. It's not God's plan.
A
Not anymore. Not my.
B
I mean, maybe. Maybe. It's insane.
A
This is something that comes up in conversation when my mother calls Me on Mondays for weekly devotion.
B
Gotcha.
A
We don't.
B
And she said, and by the way, have you heard? Leprosy is currently making its way across the great state of Florida. Jesus H. All right, y' all don't eat nothing. Had you killed on the street.
A
Oh, you might as well ask to pry Trump out of their cold red hands.
B
And you know, this is Trump's fault. Groceries is too high. Y' all can't afford chicken, so instead
A
y' all are scraping or eat spinach. So they're like, you know what? I can't have lettuce. I can have chicken. Yeah, let me just go out here and find whatever I can.
B
We gonna barbecue some dandelion and this armadillo that we found dead. Bon appetit.
A
Ho. Like, clearly roadkill.
B
Yep, yep. Flies and everything. Like, just scraping it off, pouring some vinegar on it. Like, that's gonna fix it. Well, okay, leprosy. Just one more. New York. What can we do about getting a physical barrier?
A
Build the wall. No, literally.
B
Literally build it. Mount Donnie. What are we doing? At least a wall around New York City.
A
If you say this on tick tock, you know that Mom Dan will have the wall built by sundown.
B
That man, I'm sorry. He's. He's just so good. He's so good and so happy. And his team responds to the most random. And it just makes people happy. Like, somebody did a tick tock at the Brooklyn Museum and was like, zoron, where is my man? My man's supposed to be right here at the museum so we can go on a date. And he not here. Like, why I don't have a man. And the mayor was like, I got you. And posted all of these free events happening across the city in different boroughs. Like, meet cutes, where you can go meet somebody for free or low cost. Like just, you know, paint. Paint and sips and just regular shit. Like that stuff you can go do. It's like, the mayor will take this little fake ass tik tok, you know, like, they. They respond to real shit. Like, somebody in the Bronx was like, oh, it's a big ass pothole in front of my house. And then, like, three days later, that shit was filled. But then they also respond to, like, little silly, fun stuff that just makes the city feel.
A
Feel.
B
It makes people feel good. It's like, this is. Thank you. Yes, actually, where is my husband?
A
And the man is tapped in with us. He's literally listening. He's one of us to us and taking action. Whether it is something Very serious. To the city. Filling potholes, some trash cans on the
B
street, giving people collecting $9 million in taxes from Amazon. Simple shit.
A
Or being like, fuck that nigga girl here go free before 12. The person elected to the seat in the city.
B
It feels good. It feels good.
A
Is listening to and responding to the needs of the people in the city.
B
Now.
A
It's almost as if.
B
Here we go.
A
It's almost as if it's possible. It's almost like this is what you're supposed to do. And then here's a person who's like,
B
yeah, I'll do that. I'll do that. It's almost like a real New Yorker who loves the city is good for the city. And they hate her. They do.
A
Imagine this is. Who the fuck does this brown man think that he is coming in here and doing his job and spreading positivity and making people smile?
B
Right? Right. He got booed on Staten Island. I said, baby, that's what's supposed to happen.
A
Yeah.
B
Staten island not supposed to like you. That's where the Trumpies are. So, yeah, they. They supposed to boo you. You still. They mayor. You still making life better for they ungrateful bitch asses. But yeah, they booed him.
A
And they're.
B
They supposed to all the way. Yeah, no, y. Please, please. Like, I'm not doing.
A
Y' all are anyway.
B
Everybody does. That's why I said, when you build the wall, don't worry about Staten Island. Let them. We don't have to worry about including them.
A
This niggas on Staten, I'm not even like.
B
And all 10 of the niggas on Staten know exactly what we talking about, so they get it. They get it. Shout out to my mayor. My mayor. My mayor. I know the rest of y' all jealous. You wish that was your man. You wish that was your man.
A
No, I literally wish.
B
No, I know. You wish somebody in your city cared about you.
A
No, I wish that you and I were in a married relationship. Oh. But shout out to his wife.
B
I was gonna say, you wanna take him away from my first lady. Damn. You're not the only one. You really not the only one, though. That yourself, Rama seems nice, great fashion, cool girl. But I will take your man. Please keep your eyes on him if it were possible.
A
But actually, if I could take your man, or if I did, then I wouldn't like him anymore.
B
Yeah, the fact that you would be with me through her like that, that don't sit right with me. I was down, though.
A
Oh, my goodness. Like, she's ear to ear about it.
B
It's like, what do you.
A
Where, where, where? Okay. Every now and then there's a glimmer, right?
B
Mm.
A
Bottom of the stage got leprosy. Go a little bit higher.
B
Just a little bit. Yeah.
A
Leprosy. Okay. Savannah James spoke about experiencing racial discrimination and profiling at an Hermes in Italy. I believe she was at. Spoke on a podcast. Oh, she has a podcast called question everything with her friend April McDaniel,
B
and
A
they were talking about being. She said that when she visit Hermes in Italy, an employee refused her service, told her not to touch the bags, so on and so forth, even though she booked an appointment ahead of time.
B
Um. Mm. Mm.
A
Basically, she said she had. She made one phone call. That person no longer has a job.
B
Well, yeah. Cause, I mean, I've been. I've been to Europe many times. Them niggas have wi Fi. And so if two black women walked into your hoity toity ass store with an appointment, mind you, and said, hey, you know, we're checking in for my appointment, and I were the racist type, I think I would take just one or two minutes to go in the back and google Savannah James and then adjust my fucking attitude. Like, you can't be that dedicated to being racist. You can't. You cannot. You can't wanna be racist that bad. You cannot, bro.
A
Here's where I feel like you might've just messed up, right? Because you're saying that if I were that kind of racist, I would have. And then there's, you know, that's where you mess up. Oh, you would have thought to do something sensible.
B
Yeah.
A
No, that isn't racists. Racists are just front center. How can I immediately make you uncomfortable and make you feel unwelcome? Well, can't do it from home, bitch. You don't have a job anymore.
B
It's just so. Savannah James is so, so, so wealthy. Anything she wanted in that store, she could have had. Like, I'm sure they make commission or something, right? Like, I just don't.
A
Savannah was like, bitch, you know how many burkins I have? I'm in here buying one for the kids.
B
I'm literally a billionaire. I've been with this man since I was, like, 15 years old. We got three, four kids. No prenup. Don't. You don't have to worry about me, baby. The AMEX is going through. Like, I just cannot fathom being that dedicated to hating black people. What?
A
It is so stupid. It's so stupid. Racism is so boring. It's so late.
B
It's just.
A
It's such a waste of time.
B
It.
A
It's just so stupid. Oh, don't even think about touching the bed. Bitch know how many Birkins I touch? I go to sleep, but my pillows are working. Oh, now you're unemployed.
B
I just hope y' all didn't ask about. Cause you thought what? Cause. Wow. Wow. Yeah, but didn't Oprah say the same thing happened to her? And I think that was in Italy, too. Yeah, we don't give a how rich y' all are. Right? So, I mean, I know that. I know that racism will trump capitalism a lot of the time. It just blows my mind every time because how is it that there's anything y' all care more about than money? How can that be?
A
The whole point of this is Switzerland. That happened to.
B
Okay, well, all right, so.
A
Yeah, but yeah, same.
B
Oh, Ms. James. Yeah. Called right up and got somebody. I mean, just. Girl, next time you'll Google.
A
I got you. Don't worry about it. You thought she probably get a custom Burkett with her face in it. Her man is gonna put a mirror in the box.
B
Hermes is gonna be like, you know what? Yep. And this was our bed. What would you like? Would you like some gator? Would you like a little snake?
A
In fact, we sent that bitch to the gallows. No one's heard of him since. No one has heard from them since.
B
So the charms on this bag is made out of her teeth type shit.
A

Drake did a 20v 1i. It's like I'm. I, I. Okay.
B
Oh, wow. He really did.
A
I exist, you know, and I'm here and every day is an adventure. So he did this 20v one thing for YouTube for those of y' all who don't know, because God bless you and I aspire. 20 v 1 is this trend of YouTube and TikTok videos where someone comes in and is met with 22 possible dates. Romance lovers, possible connections, 20 different people. And I guess hijinks and hilarity is supposed to ensue. Usually these are people from regular walks of life. Maybe an Instagram influencer, comedian, streamer, something like that. Not one of the most wealthy rappers, celebrities. But Drake said, you know what? I'm with the shits. I like having a good time. Let's do it. Braids are getting longer. Touching, neighbor.
B
They are. They're getting longer. They are indeed. Are you adding a little bit, Aubrey? Are you adding just a little bit of Kanekalon in the braid?
A
Just a little. Just a little, you know, an extension.
B
You know, the girl needs to be wanting to hang time. They really do.
A
I hope he puts, like some bobos in it on the end, please.
B
He is. It's enough.
A
Wait, hasn't he already done that?
B
I'm pretty sure he has. That's why? I'm like, we don't need to bring that back. We do not need to bring back Drake with the beads.
A
He literally did.
B
Yeah, little butterfly barrettes and shit. Don't need to.
A
I don't want to do the rest of this. I don't want to do. I think we should just end the episode because, like, why did it literally just hit me that. Wait a minute. I think he has done that.
B
He has dressed up like a little girl before. Yeah.
A
Okay, so he did the 20v one thing, right. For. For shits and gigs. The Internet has a great time with that again. I think he was just like bored, I think, trying to appeal to 23 year olds, as usual.
B
Yeah.
A
And it ended with him, I guess, agreeing to give the winner of the 20v one. I guess they asked like, what would she have wanted from him or something like that if she could have anything and some shit. And the winning girl, who's like an only fans model, very big, busty goth white woman, said that she really just wanted a house for her mom and Drake agreed to give her a house for her mom. She afterwards said that they've been following through and seems like he's really gonna do it so.
B
Well. Yeah. Because what does that really mean to Drake?
A
Right, Right. You got it. This is in Toronto too, that they filmed this. So he probably just finds somebody. The Toronto might just give it to him.
B
They gonna give it to him. I was just gonna say they're gonna be like, just pay the taxes and you can have.
A
Which one do you want? Just pick a house which is fierce. So he did the Although, you know,
B
love that for the girl who won. Love that.
A
Right?
B
Love that. Love that. Especially if the deed is in they name and not Drake's name or OVO name. Yeah, yeah, love that for y'. All.
A
Fierce. Anyway, the only thing that led me to that is actually something completely unrelated. And it was comment made by Arian Foster on a podcast on Barstool. And that's where I should have stopped. Right. But the headline was way too enticing. Okay, so Arian Foster in what looks like to be his streamer room or something, he's got the, you know, glowy blue purple lights in the background and shit. The greens, much like this. Yeah. And so he's speaking about handshakes on macro dosing. I don't even really know how this came up because God bless me, I only could watch the clip, but he said that the firmest handshake he ever got was from Adrian Peterson. He Describes it as like a firm, strong handshake. Tell like, okay, you strong, bruh. So on and so forth. And he said on the opposite end of that was Drake. He said that he could tell. Drake never really, like, had to really work with his hands with full of. He said he felt like he went to sleep. Maybe, like, lotion, gloves, no calluses.
B
Oh, my God.
A
This is a very weak handshake. And so work with me here, right? Cause I'm like, I don't understand being a human much as a man describing another man's handshake. Almost as if I were a sommelier discussing, like a Bordeaux or something.
B
Yeah.
A
Like, no calluses. Very soft. Buttery,
B
right? Yeah. I mean, of all things, it. I've this. Men really take handshakes, so. Men take handshakes so seriously, though. And I don't. I don't know if the young people do, but I'm not shocked that in their 30s and 40s are talking about, like, rate different men's handshakes. And I'm not surprised that a fellow professional athlete had a stronger grip than Drake. Like, yeah, that man actually works out. Drake calls back Drake, child star, right? It's like, what the fuck? Drake goes to get a BBL or whatever other nips and tucks, his abs sculpted, right? That man don't exercise eyeglass tattoos and a bum walks. He takes that ozempic and he goes about his work deeper. He not gonna have a strong grip. You right. He don't do that. You think that man is going around opening jars at home and shit? No, you right. Drip does not do a lot of movement.
A
Do you remember those things that you can use to open a jar? Have you seen them where it was like a plastic thing you put over the top and then you would tighten it?
B
Yes. Yeah. Or everything has a pull tab. Or the chef just does it.
A
Yeah, no, for sure, the chef or one of the entourage niggas, he's just like, hey, come open this jar of pickles. I agree wholeheartedly that when I first read this, I was like, is Arian Foster 70 years old, Greyjoy?
B
That man ain't had no good. He can't marry my daughter. He ain't got no good handshake.
A
Who the fuck care?
B
Who the fuck cares? Yeah, but men do. I'm not sure why, but they really
A
about the dumbest shit. It just again, to me was like, y' all really, really, really are more concerned with being attractive to other men,
B
with seeming like what another man would approve of as a man, as Opposed
A
to just being yourself at your foundation. Like it really matters to you.
B
Yeah.
A
That you are affirmed, validated by other men.
B
Yes. Nothing matters more than that, actually. So.
A
Lotion gloves was wired, though. Like, that was a lot. You know what I mean? Because maybe he does go to sleep with lotion gloves on.
B
Would that surprise anybody? No, not at all. Drake seems like the type to really care about that. Oh, he probably lotions them feet, too. He probably. I mean, and honestly, more y' all should be. I'd rather. Never mind. Never mind.
A
Nobody say it.
B
No. Cause all the girls who like, they rough and ashy and unkempt, but we're not talking to them overgrown, scraggly toenails and dirty fingernails. And like that them finna come for my neck. Like, girl, please, you can have your nasty troll swamp of a man. The rest of them, please, a little grooming, it couldn't hurt it. I'd rather you do too much grooming than too little girl.
A
You get out of bed, don't. She look at your legs. She gonna think you have a cat.
B
Okay.
A
But it's actually your man's toes.
B
All right?
A
And so, like. But, you know, Drake is like, when I'm. When I'm rubbing a stripper's bbl and I'm reading my latest poems.
B
Yeah.
A
I need my hands to be soft.
B
And she like it like that. And I think that's. Yeah.
A
So stay mad and stick to those playground paws you're used to, bitch. All right, so there have been rumors going around that one Michael B. Jordan might be dating your girl baby Ray, because they were spotted at Six Flags on a roller coaster together, and they had the nerve to be looking like they were having a good time.
B
Awesome.
A
No, there's also reports that they had gone to, like, dinner a couple of times, so people thought that they were dating. But now insiders reports, it seem like from one team or both are saying that they're actually working on something together. And so they've been hanging out, doing business, so on and so forth. So here's my guess. They might. I could believe that they're actually working on something together where they might be love interests and whatever that is.
B
Mm.
A
It could be, you know, Ray doing a visual album or something like that. And, you know, he plays her husband or boyfriend or ex or something. You know, Michael, Oscar winner, film director, producer. He could be like, hey, I have this thing. It could. You know, I can believe it is something that they are working together. I wouldn't be surprised if it is something maybe Scripted, artistic. Where they're love interest and they're just hanging out to get to know each other. They might not even have the love interest thing. They could just be working on a script, a book. Yeah, whatever.
B
Soundtrack.
A
Right. And getting to know each other. Similar. It reminds me of when people were saying that Teyana Taylor and Leonardo DiCaprio were dating.
B
Oh, yeah. Mm.
A
Cause they were going to the club and hanging out, and then I think Tiana's Team one, somebody was like, they're doing a movie together. They're shooting it right now. That's all we're gonna say. But you watch the movie, like, oh, yeah, they're in the movie. They have a kid together. Makes sense that they would hang out.
B
Yes. And.
A
But if they are dating. Cute.
B
Yeah, that would be cute. They like. They're cute together. But even in the video of them at Six Flags, you know, it's not. It's not giving. Romantic date. Yeah, it's a bunch of. It looks like the team is with them. Of course, security is there, but, like, he dressed like Chance the Rapper. She got on pajamas. So it's.
A
That's exactly how I'd want to go on a date with my nigga. Just.
B
It's just not really giving, you know, romantic date. But when I first heard the story, I hadn't seen the video or pictures or anything, and I thought, that is so fucking cute. I did that for them. They just seem like they would be an adorable couple.
A
So I agree.
B
Yeah, yeah, Maybe, you know, maybe they're working together and then something more will come. Who knows?
A
Who knows?
B
Who knows? But I would love that for Rachel. God, that album is so good.
A
It's. It has no business being so good. As good as it is. And if you haven't listened yet, you got to watch anything. You should go in and do that. Oh, yes. Apparently, Tina Snow is back.
B
Oh, I saw this clip of her on Michelle Obama's podcast with her French roll. I said, girl, you better reach into your bag and pull out the recipes. Come on. But you know, you talking to the first lady, so I get it. You know, you got to be classy type. We're not pulling out the courtroom, Bob, for this. You know, we go in respectable. Bitch.
A
I love this true religion top that she has on.
B
I can't wait for the man dragging music. Yes. It's gonna be a bunch of. You know what, Hotties. I was in love, and I was good to that nigga. But when a nigga play with you, don't never let a nigga think he could play with you. And I. I just cannot wait for that, you know?
A
That's my favorite kind of.
B
It's so good.
A
Yes. Oh, so fuck these niggas is what I was raised on, and probably detrimentally so, because I haven't been nice to a man in forever.
B
Yeah. So.
A
And I don't plan on changing that, but, yes. All things considered, separate of this. This lady could have. She could be a platinum gold lesbian and make music about fuck these niggas. And I will be on board. Oh, yeah.
B
Oh, yeah. Kehlani did the same thing. So. Yeah, why not? And nobody's gayer than Kehlani is, so.
A
K. Lawn, currently on the road with Durand Bernard.
B
That's true. That's true. Those shows look good.
A
Yeah. She hinted at Act 3 of her Megan project, which she kind of hinted at before. I mean, I don't remember how long it was, but I saw her say something not long ago like, y' all ready for act three hotties? And we were like, yeah, from two Houston bitches.
B
Right. Actually, you and that other one, go get your creole friend, too, while you at it. But while you're at it, she posted. She posted something that said Act 3 on it a few days ago. Like, it was just act three on her back. And then I'm back. Right. So.
A
Yeah. Oh, so with the blonde Bob. And that's when the girls were like, it's gonna snow. Winter is coming.
B
It's gonna snow.
A
Yeah. I can't wait. I can't wait to hear it. And I agree that I can't wait for her to basically say, here's my soaking wet clitoris.
B
Yep.
A
And you bitches can die.
B
Just go right ahead and lick it up.
A
You can't.
B
And you want to. You want it bad. You bitches is straight. And every time I post a picture, you be in my comments, losing your mind. You want to.
A
Women get dragged, too.
B
Oh, interesting. Who would that. Oh, oh, you mean like some of the rap girls?
A
Oh, yeah. Oh.
B
Are you gonna address the Gloria Hallelujah situation?
A
Ooh, I just want to know what. Anyway, yeah, that's what happened.
B
I do. Yeah, me too. But it's clear that something. Something happened. Something fell off. Something changed.
A
You know what? Some. Something else that changed Usher on stage to some other nigga. Apparently not.
B
You follow Calypso?
A
I just heard about this. I simply think it's funny. All right.
B
I thought you was believing it.
A
No, I just think it's funny. So usher performed at MetLife for his bumps portion of the of the tour and clips from the show came out that have people believing that Usher was not performing on stage. But in fact some people saying it's a clone. I think those people are being facetious.
B
They gotta be. I'm tired of that. They cannot be for real.
A
But their comments here on Baller Alert that are like, I was at that show and me and my homegirls were also like, is that him?
B
Baller Alert.
A
Yeah.
B
Like I did not know he was still around. Truly. Wow.
A
Oh yeah, girl.
B
Usher clone concert.
A
Now this video, it does not it. I can see how you might think that this dope, that this is an Usher.
B
Cause. Oh yeah, this don't really look like him.
A
This really look like him.
B
This don't. No, you're right. Uh. Oh, never mind.
A
Well, you know what? I don't think there's a clone.
B
Well, no, obviously not, but.
A
But I do think it's possible he sent out a. A stand in for him at this part of the show. I think he looks similar to him enough that he could pull it off.
B
Child, that's.
A
And there is a couple.
B
That is KC Now, I thought the
A
exact same thing when I first saw this.
B
Oh, never mind. This video. That really don't look like him. It don't. Sorry. I take it back.
A
He responded and he said, y' all are funny. Clone. They can't clone this. How y' all come up with this? AI is not AI Ain't that advanced. Right, because you weren't cloned.
B
No, you definitely weren't cloned. And we all know that you sent
A
out Brusher to dance for you for a bit.
B
And you know what? I'm actually not mad. That's what y' all get for going to this show. I hope he do it again. That is not Usher. No, I thought this was bullshit. That is not him.
A
No, that's not him.
B
Nigga. Who is that?
A
There's one clip I saw where it does look like him. So I don't know if he said. But like. So did you have this stand on? This stand in like on. On standby? Was. Was he like a. What do you call it when in theater where you have somebody who's like on standby in case something happens to the. Oh, when the lead takes a day off?
B
I almost said back up. That's not it.
A
No, it's like a understudy. Is it understudy?
B
Yes, but I think that's academia. It's something else. Understudy, standby alternates. What is the word?
A
When I'm worth When I'm used to. But I. I'm not. And I know people are screaming it right now.
B
Oh, Usher. Well, you know what? You right. Because different videos understudied. Sometimes it does look like him and sometimes it don't. But y' all deserve to get swindled. That's what you get. Don't hit it.
A
Like, can you imagine? You already are. Like, I'm going to. I'm going. Oh, you were serving. Actually, Archer must have had that one light skinned girl like, bitch, I'm here for Chris. And was like, well, since y' all don't give a fuck about this part.
B
Imposter.
A
This is hilarious. It made me think of who. Who else was accused of this. Was it Jeremiah? This was years ago. Or was it Trey Songz? I think it was Jeremiah who sent somebody out on stage.
B
But I think Doom actually did do it.
A
But how would you. I mean, sure, right?
B
How would you know?
A
This nigga felt like he could put on this hat and just pull it down a little bit and keep these glasses on and then get away with it. This person is not Usher.
B
But that man don't have your bottom. The bottom part of your face. He don't have your mouth. And I have looked at your mouth for a long time, Usher. That's not your mouth. But I mean, what, what we gonna do? Run some forensics about it? Like, that's what you always get. Don't go.
A
I'm just like. Do y' all really think that he was cloned?
B
No. You can't believe that.
A
Facetious.
B
Yeah. That's another grown man, though.
A
Maybe he. Okay, so can you help me with this, this Caitlin Clark thing? She was suspended.
B
Hey, her.
A
Okay, sorry. She was suspended for a technical foul. She shove a ref. What happened?
B
So Caitlyn says that she, you know, ran into the ref towards the end of the game, but it wasn't deliberate. And so she was hoping they would rescind the tech. And of course they did.
A
They sure did.
B
So that she would be available to play the Liberty this week. But yeah, I.
A
How long did it take until they rescinded it? Like six hours?
B
Not even. I don't even think it. Right. I don't even think it was six hours. It was the fastest I've ever seen the league respond to anything. It was like immediately. Oh, absolutely not. She is playing in that nationally televised game. Do not worry about it. It was not even, you know, didn't even get the chance to go to bed. So. Yeah, I'm just.
A
I just realized that her name. Her name has always kind of stuck out to me for a reason. And I guess at first I was like, oh, because it's two C's, both got A's and L's in it or something. Now I'm like, oh, Catelyn Stark.
B
Oh, okay.
A
And she kind of looks like Bran. Well, I'm just saying that, like, I'm re watching Game of Thrones too.
B
Right, right, right, right.
A
Okay, guys, just been on my mind.
B
But so, yeah, no, the. The league wasn't gonna let this in. And this just all ties into what Dijonay Carrington was saying about the Indiana Fever and white privilege. But that's part of my read for later in this episode. But yeah, that everything to do with that team at this point, I'm rooting for the Liberty. Although they really starting to piss me off. They really starting to piss me off.
A
Did they fire Ellie?
B
Please, please them. Don't want to riot in the streets of Brooklyn. Be for real. Ellie is the Liberty. Absolutely not.
A
Right?
B
No. This ass cop. It's part of my read. I'm gonna get to it.
A
Like, okay, okay. I'm sorry.
B
Yeah, Kayin. Anyway, I'm rooting for the Liberty and then I'm rooting for whoever is playing the Fever. Just, it's literally anybody but the Fever at this point between Caitlyn, that coach, and Sophie Cunningham. Like, just please leave me out of it. Y' all are ruining the vibes of the wnba.
A
Um, okay, that was pretty much it for my hot tubs. Oh, look at this fucking flip flop. Did you see these flip flop heels that JT's making with. With. I can't remember. What is it? Supplier Earth flip flop. She has, like, flip flop, like, thong sandal flip flops. But they're cute.
B
Like for the pool.
A
Yeah, like for a pool. I think they're cute.
B
$115.
A
I don't know if they're that cute
B
girl for pool, but I like them.
A
I think they're cute, too.
B
For foam sister.
A
I think they're cute. But yeah, that's it for the hot tops. We're going to take a break, and then we're going to come back with your letters.

Please send your questions to asktheread gmail.com we may read them aloud on the show. We got quite a few, a handful of people asking you about Widow's Bay because you mentioned it. And they questions around like, do you have any favorite episodes or any moments that stood out to you as a horror fan? This one from AJ says I'm a huge fan and would love to hear your thoughts. I was so happy you got 19 emmy nums because they were all so well deserved and I was like, wait, 19 for.
A
I haven't finished it.
B
Oh, you haven't? Okay, so maybe you can't really answer the questions about like favorite episodes or.
A
Yeah, any moment I will catch all up. When I do, it's on. It's like maybe next up on the list. Thankfully, you know these big prime time premium shows are like 10 episodes except the fucking polygamist.
B
Have you finished that yet?
A
Yes.
B
Okay.
A
You did, girl. Anyway, that looked ridiculous.
B
I'm sorry. It did.
A
It looked. It was a lot of fun. It was absurd. It was randomly absurd. It was so outlandish and ridiculous.
B
And it did look that way.
A
It was so. But yeah, I am gonna finish this. I've heard nothing about amazing things about it, so. But I also. Yeah.
B
All right, girlies, we'll wait for more Widows Bay content. Then our next question comes from Glenda who says hi, Chris linkifiori. I'm a 28 year old black woman and I'm married to my husband and we share one child together who is almost two. About four or five years ago, my mother moved to Massachusetts because they have better government assistance to help her get back on her feet quicker. She was incredibly insistent about moving and left my brother and sister behind to figure out shelter for themselves. She said they grown adults and it was time for her to focus on herself. Cool during the time that she moved, she would often come up to visit since she could not afford a hotel or Airbnb, she would ask to stay with me and my husband and I never once told her no. Even when I did not feel like sharing my space or if it wasn't the best time for her to come, I always cleared space for her and my husband cooked anything she asked for. Recently, my husband and I asked my sister if she wanted to rent our third bedroom. The apartment building we live in has become increasingly more expensive and we want to be able to save up money to move. My older sister just so happened to need a place to stay because the room she was renting was going to be unavailable. So she agreed and we set a date for her to move in the same weekend my sister was supposed to move. My mom was supposed to be visiting but she canceled and said she no longer had the money to come. This was fine with me because I was already having a lot of anxiety about sharing my space with my sister and how all of this would impact my son. But then the day before my sister's move, my mom said she came up with the money and asked if the offer to come still stood. I said absolutely no. That was too short a notice and it wasn't enough time for me to figure out how to maneuver everything so that everybody could be in the house. She said okay, don't worry about it. The next day I called her like I do every Saturday and she had an attitude, started to cry and said that she was upset with me because she really wanted to visit that weekend. I told her I was sorry she was upset and then hung up because I felt really triggered. I then sent her a text text saying that me saying no was not malicious and I needed to focus on moving my sister in, especially since that's what I was preparing to do anyway. I also said in the text that it was hard and isolating to be the youngest of her three children, the only one who has their together, and to always be expected to just do things because I have it. She left me on red and has not spoken to me since. I want to know if I'm in the wrong here. I'm hurt because I never tell my mom no and the one time I did she has completely iced me out. We've always had a rocky relationship and I do tend to keep her and my siblings at arm's Length because I had a really dysfunctional upbringing and a lot of family trauma. I don't know what to do. Please help Glenda.
A
Mmm.
B
Mm. Mommy issues.
A
You reversed. Well,
B
I think. I mean, are you in the wrong here? No. Your mom, I. I don't see how you could be. She was asking to come visit, like, for funsies. It wasn't like, can I come see my new grandbaby? Or whatever. Like, she was just asking to come visit, like she always does. And if you didn't have the space or didn't want her there. It's your home. You can always say no. You didn't go into detail about the history between you and your mom and your siblings, but it does sound very chaotic and messy and, like, you would probably rather not be involved with them if it was, like, fully up to you. Not sure. But, yeah, this. No, of course you're not in the wrong here. And your mom being like, well, you hurt my feelings, so now I'm not gonna talk to. Is proof of her immaturity. Like, this is just not the way a mature person responds to their own child, like setting a boundary or saying no for the very first time. You know, it's not like she was starving and asked for a meal. Like, this is. But this is how emotionally immature people behave. So, no, I definitely don't think you were wrong here. And she just gonna have to. If it was my mama, you just gonna have to be mad. We can just not talk. Like, I'm not backing down on that. Yeah, you go ahead. You have your feelings.
A
I kind of agree. Not kind of. I just agree. I. It feels like this is trickier for you because it may be feeling of, like, obligation or, you know, it's like, oh, this is the family, and I'm gonna feel. But choosing you for the first time can look wild. It can feel uncomfortable because you're going. Especially when you're dealing with family, especially dealing with older family members. And God help you piss your mama out of here, right? Many of them position themselves in your life as. Almost like a convenience. Like you. I know that I can rely on you, or I bet be able to rely on you to give me, provide me with the things I want, not just need. Not even need the things that I want without there being a tussle. Because I'm in my mommy, daddy, I'm your grandma, auntie, whatever, and that's just not how life works. And so I think that sometimes when you find yourself in positions like this where you do say no, or you set A boundary. It can look. However, I think I would. Yeah. Say, dig deep down into yourself, into your spirit, and find the part of you that says, oh, well, yeah.
B
Yeah, I think so. Glenda,
A
I think that your mother's gonna have to be upset about that. And if again, because it's not like, hey, I actually need a liver, and I know that you have one at your house, can I come and get a new mortgage? Like, if your mother decides to just be pissy about this for God only knows how long, then, yeah. That is a maturity that has. That not only has nothing to do with you, it's incredibly disappointed, and it shouldn't be enabled in any way.
B
Yes, I agree. And I know this is challenging. Like, you're 28. That's still fairly young. Um, it sounds like you are only asking your sister to move in for financial reasons that otherwise you would not be bothered. Cause when your mama left, you wasn't like, oh, we got an extra bedroom. Come stay with us. She was like, fuck, no.
A
Right?
B
This is my space. I got away from you niggas. So I'm gonna recommend therapy for you to work through, you know, the dysfunctional upbringing you talked about and the family trauma. But. But she'll be all right. She will be all right. If she's mad because you said no, you can't come visit the day before we're having somebody move into that room. Like this is. It was a reasonable thing to say no to her. Reacting like this is truly her problem. Let it be her problem. Massachusetts can deal with you, girl. I'm not. I'm not putting up with that. So.
A
Right.
B
But best of luck to you, Glenda, because I do know that situation is hard. Okay, our next letter comes from Mother Time, who says, recently my fiance and I took a trip to Paris and Amsterdam. About a month prior to the trip, I was asking him about another trip he took back in 2022 to Brazil, where he and his two friends went to visit his sister. I asked him several times in a joking type of way if he cheated on me during that trip, and he kept saying no. I remembered that I also asked him that back in 2022 when he got back from the trip, and he said no then, too. Wait, okay, so she asked in 2022, he said no. She asked again a month before. They just took this trip. He said no again. For context, to my knowledge, or for context, to my knowledge, he has never cheated, and I've never really suspected him of doing so. But he is still a man, so, you know,
A
I love when they land on, but he's still a man. Okay, so girl, what was the.
B
Back in 2022, when he got back from that Brazil trip, he started bringing up the potential idea of both of us having hall passes to have sex with other people when we travel overseas.
A
Why is she still right?
B
At first I was a little weirded out because I never thought about having an open relationship, but eventually I started to consider it. When we went to Amsterdam, we visited the red light district, of course, and we went to see a sex show together. And when we got back to the hotel, he suggested we go back the next night because he wanted to explore more. I told him it was fine for him to go on by himself and that I was even fine with him having sex with somebody in the red light district as long as he understood that I also have a trip coming up to Spain in a month and I will be potentially doing the same thing. He said, okay. And he said he really wanted me to go with him, so I did. He found a prostitute and he had sex with her and I was there participating with him, you know, touching on her boobs here and there. As soon as he was done, we got dressed and walked out. And he said, I now feel comfortable enough to confess to you that I actually did pay someone in Brazil for sex when I went on that trip.
A
Men are. It's like,
B
mind you, this was a time where we were living together, very much a couple, and very much had a three year old daughter at home, work. I've been getting more and more angry at his betrayal, lies, and of course this fucking timing of finally telling me the truth. I'm not sure if I should leave him. We just had another baby and I don't want to put my kids through that. This was four years ago and the only time according to him. But I'm just not sure that I can trust him or believe anything he says. I feel so manipulated and bamboozled. If I do leave, I'm not only leaving him, but I'm also leaving the idea of a monogamous relationship or even a relationship where your partner is completely honest with you. I really viewed him as a good guy and sometimes even as a square. And I was sure he'd never cheat on me. I'd even say I settled a little bit because ideally I would have liked somebody a little taller with a little more swag and a bigger dick.
A
But I thought he, oh, now you're reading him.
B
Just get a guy. He may fall short in some departments, but he's True and honest. Not. What would you both do in this situation? Thanks, Mother Time.
A
Please, please go.
B
What would I do? Well, this is. It is tricky as far as leaving is concerned. You have two young children, et cetera, et cetera, and it was four years ago. Blah, blah, blah.
A
Wait. Tricky in the sense of, like, it's gonna require a lot more moving.
B
Yeah, tricky as in it's gonna be harder, more complicated and moving process. Not just moving. Co parenting. Cause you never know how men switch up after a relationship is over. Is he still gonna show up as a dad to these kids? Is he showing up as a good dad now? But is he gonna be even worse after you leave? Is he gonna be petty and try to punish you through the court system with child support and visitation and blah, blah, blah? Like, it's just a million things to worry about when you have kids.
A
That's true.
B
So it is going to be trickier in that regard. And I won't say universally you should leave because somebody cheated. I do think it's a case by case basis.
A
Yeah.
B
On the other hand, this man sounds like a bitch.
A
Like, so waiting for y' all to
B
fuck somebody in Amsterdam to be like, now I can tell you the truth is just like, girl.
A
So in this case, Yeah, this is a go ahead and leave this bitch situation. I asked you twice about this and you lied. And you wait until. Not until we even get back to the house. I mean, the hotel, Airbnb, the country. You tell me when the Doors split up.
B
Right?
A
That bitch. Oh, now I feel comfortable. Now you feel comfortable telling me that you cheated on me now? After I was rubbing some bitches, titties and areolas while you were fucking her is when you felt like, oh, what? Since I was present to watch you fuck a woman, I can handle. You telling me that you lied multiple times? Niggas, I do. Cause. Okay,
B
this is why you don't settle. At least if you get your heart broken, let it be by a man you actually wanted, it's actually right.
A
Cause now you are here talking about his dick's small and he ain't tall enough and he got halitosis and a club foot and. Right.
B
And you thought all that was gonna make him a good man? Not. Um, yeah, baby, I.
A
Anytime you tell yourself somebody will never cheat on you, you've already failed.
B
Mm. I would leave, but I'm also. Well, it's. Nevermind. They've been together since 2017. They had a couple of little on and off breakups, but they're engaged now. I don't know that I would immediately break up, but I'm definitely not rushing into marriage. Like, I'm not marrying you if I can't trust you. And either we're going back to the States and we're really like, both committed to and. And by both, I mean mainly the men, but also you. We're both committed to like, you know, working with a couple's counselor or somebody and. And getting to the root of this because you can heal from betrayal, but it's going to take work. And if he's not work. And if he.
A
And time.
B
Yes. And so when you talk about feeling hurt and angry at the betrayal and the lies and he's not like it's his reaction. Is he saying, baby, I know. I am so sorry. It was so cowardly of me to do it like that. I want to do whatever it takes to fix this relationship because you're the love of my life and I want us to do this and this. And then he's proactive about, like, finding a counselor or finding. If y' all don't have the money for a counselor, finding resources online for, you know, well, this is what's worth staying for. If he don't show remorse, if he don't seem contrite, if he don't actually take steps to keep you in his life, if it's just like, oh, yeah, I did it, are you gonna forgive me? Or.
A
Nah, girl, like 98%, right?
B
Like 98% of niggas is gonna be like, girl, you over it yet? Or nah. And them people are not worth staying with. Cause you cannot refer to.
A
Well, I told you. I mean, at least I told you.
B
I could have been out here lying to you like you were for four fucking years. What you mean could have been? You could have been.
A
If you say that to me and then I kill you, I'm gonna be wrong. You know what I mean? Like, I would be wrong.
B
Now I'm in jail. Wow. I'm in code.
A
I just feel like I might have just a wild reaction to you then insulting me.
B
Don't piss me off.
A
You're right. It's the trust part of it. I do think, given the few of the points that you made. Right. A, I'm completely glossed over the fact that niggas will. Will punish children.
B
Oh, yes.
A
For their own fuck up.
B
Absolutely. It's like they never and actually always hated the idea of kids. And so now you have them. They know you love them kids and how can they hurt you by hurting them kids?
A
It's wild that this is a fact that I forgot about it.
B
Yeah, happens all the time.
A
There's. That. There's the time that y' all have been together. You know, I always take a breath and be like, oh, for the family and things like that. Because the first thing that comes to mind is, well, then you're gonna raise your kids in a sit with two parents that.
B
Yeah.
A
Give off a certain energy. Is it's because your baby. Because your baby is like 16 months, 18 months. It's just like, oh, well, they don't know.
B
This don't seem right. Yes, they do, though. Like, they.
A
They absolutely know. They can feel. They know. They absorb. And you're talk anyway.
B
Don't say to kids ever. Ever.
A
That's just not. No, but you're right. This could be a thing that they work through. I do think the bare minimum. We have to separate for how long to be determined. That's up to y'.
B
All. Oh, yeah.
A
But I for sure would not. I would have to take time to myself away from you. Now we stay together. We have a child. Two children. One. I just said you gonna have to get out. Like, I don't know where you're. I don't know where you're gonna go.
B
Right out my face.
A
I'm not staying. You are not staying.
B
You're not sleeping in the same bed with me. And I don't know it's going to be for. I want to look at your face at night and first thing in the fucking morning. So you just prepare yourself for that. Yeah, I could see that. I could definitely see taking space physically, emotionally. All that because you hurt me. Wow.
A
You lied. You lied to me multiple times. And then you picked the like, ashiest, the most callous, just nonchalant way to admit that you did this thing and lied about it multiple times.
B
Right?
A
Like I was just rubbing a bitch titties for you. I didn't even wanna come.
B
You still got condom residue on your dick. Talking about woof. Now, I can tell you, I'm like, oh, wow, nigga, wow. So this has been beating.
A
You wanted me to come with you so that this could happen, so that you could say et cetera to me and I'm not allowed to kill you. So at this point, what we're gonna do is you're gonna leave and then I'd suggest again. Cause yeah, he needs to be proactive in building that bridge.
B
He's trying to fix it.
A
Right, but how do you get a nigger to do that when it's not in them without then resenting them for have. You know, because you had to be the one.
B
You don't. No, you don't. If it's not in him, leave him. If he cannot, if he can't come up with the intestinal fortitude to do what he needs to do to save this relationship, then let it die.
A
Amen.
B
Let it die. Don't do the work for him, girl. You will never stop doing the work for him if you do.
A
Amen.
B
So, no, fuck that. It's his job to take the steps necessary. And all you need to do is be willing to go and hear it out. Like, you just need to be willing to try out. Yeah, but he needs to be doing the overwhelming majority of the work of like getting y' all to that place where you can start to repair the relationship in the first place because he is the one who fractured it. So no. Yeah, you don't go find the therapist. You don't go looking for resources. You don't. You don't go emailing Oprah or whoever else that y' all talk to about stuff like that. Like, you don't do none of that. Let that man do that. And if he don't, then you know what to do. Trifling though, My God, I would be so pissed. Like, we got two fucking kids at
A
the red light district, bitch.
B
We got. And then. So you say no, that you didn't sleep with nobody in Brazil, but then you talking about. But in future international trips, perhaps we could each sleep with someone else.
A
Like, what a fucking moron.
B
Why wouldn't you just say it then? Why wouldn't you just. Why lie? God. Okay. Good luck, baby. Not an easy choice regardless. But I hope he's at least genuinely sorry for what he has done and is going to make a real effort to fix Yalls. Yalls marriage or relationship. All right. Our last letter comes from Samantha who says. Hello Chris, Link your Fury. I'm a 31 year old woman and I recently been back on the dating scene here in Chicago. I've been seeing this guy who's also 31 for about two weeks. We met on Instagram after a series of sending eye emojis and heart eyes for a few months. And in person he's great. He's very attractive, nice build, great job, firm but kind, peaceful to be around, enjoys traveling and is a great kisser. Our first day went so well that I invited him back to my place for a nightcap. But herein lies the problem. Problem. The sex was terrible. He was on the smaller Side. And to make matters worse, he couldn't stay hard. Why?
A
The little.
B
Little dick are having them.
A
They're dragging dick sizes this week.
B
I didn't even feel anything when we were. And I'm pretty sure he was just pumping in between my closed thighs. He came by last night, and after a couple of shots, I tried to initiate sex again. I went as far as getting butt ass naked in front of him and told him that I like to sleep naked once we got in bed. We tried, but again, he was soft and could not get hard. He apologized and said he didn't know why this was happening to him. And he really likes me so much. So much that he might even be in his head about it. We just cuddled for the whole night, and I thought to myself, girl, just wait for that morning wood. But in the morning, he was pushing rope again. It's only been two weeks.
A
Pushing rope is
B
so. Oh, that's genius.
A
So extensive.
B
So good.
A
That has a movement to it. Wow.
B
Only for him to be pushing rope again. It's only been two weeks. Okay. It's only been two weeks work. And I really like him and think he could potentially be a good partner, but I can't ignore bad sex. Do y' all have any suggestions to help him or to help me? Is this worth trying again or should I just chalk it up to the game and move on? Even though he fits a lot of my criteria otherwise. Thanks so much, Samantha. Obsessed upset.
A
I just want to remind you really quick, I'd like to reiterate the pushing row was. Is so absolutely insane. The visual Christ. So advice for this situation? Yeah, a couple of things. You have your Calis Hymns.
B
Yep.
A
Blue Chew.
B
Yep. All kinds.
A
You've got your Viagra Classic. Oh, wow. They have all sorts of things for Ed. And I do think it is likely that he really is very attracted to you and is in his head about it. And that's what's happening because it happens. Like, yeah, I've experienced that before with a gentleman. And I was just like, well, you know, I am.
B
I do got that.
A
I hate to be nervous, too. So I get it. I mean, after what, three and a possible, I would also be like, okay, girl, go ahead and pull up. Chew up this little blue tablet for me.
B
Yep, Yep.
A
Give it 20, 30 minutes and let's get it. Let's get it moving there. Yeah. I think just my suggestion would be to try if you are interested in him because she says she likes him outside of the sex being whack, try a dick pill. See what go. What happens from there.
B
Yes. I would actually be like, look, I really like you. The only thing that's in the way is that the sex has not been a thing. Really. So, like, are you willing to do something about that? Is there some sort of medical issue here? I mean, as far as I'm concerned, you can get on any of these fucking apps and order dick pills. I see ads all day long for dick pills.
A
There's probably a hymns ad coming up
B
in this show, in this very show.
A
It's not hard to get them right.
B
So I would be like, what are you willing to do to try to make this work? You know, Like, I really do like you. I wouldn't necessarily say your dick is a little bit.
A
Little. Yeah, don't say that because you haven't ever got hard.
B
You haven't experienced everything the dick can do.
A
Right.
B
Let's see what it does when it's functioning properly. Because maybe it is a little on the small side, but you like it. Maybe it's boyfriend dick. Maybe it is. Hello, hello, hello. Now you're cooking with grease. So. But if he not. If he's not willing to go see the doctor or get on one of them pills, I'm not gonna sit here, try to start a. Get rope burned.
A
I mean, it's just.
B
It's the visual of pushing rope that is so funny. But it's a lot of young men who have this problem because they've been watching porn since they was 10 and, you know, they do really ridiculous facts. They've been doing a lot. So it's. I'm not even. I'm not even too shocked at his age, but he gotta be willing to address the issue. He got to.
A
Yeah, I'm sure he could get like a. He could probably book like a virtual appointment with a doctor.
B
Oh, yes, you can. No, you can. You're absolutely right. I thought you was finna say something silly, but yes, you can. Yes, you can. You can meet with them n on zoom. Yes, you can.
A
You probably got a prescription by the end of the week, end of this
B
week, Hell, end of today. For some of these ads I've been seeing. They, like, just call us. We can't wait to send you the dick pill.
A
So serious.
B
Just call right now.
A
So, But I think that you're. You kind of hit it on the head when you said, what are you willing to do? Almost similar to the last thing, where it's like, no, baby, I'm not going to point you to the direction of this very clear, obvious thing that you can and should be doing to help our relationship work in our right. Like, do I have to be the one to go? You know, there's pills for that.
B
I shouldn't. You know that you have an issue with dick. You know that. You know, but that yo dick ain't. Ain't doing what it's supposed to do. So, like, I. I would really should not even have to spell that out for you. Do you want to address your glaringly obvious problem or not? That's really up to you. But if. If he. If he get the dick working and it's still too little for you, do not settle. You see what just happened to mother Time, and now she got two kids and the nigga lying and all the things she don't like about him are suddenly huge problems.
A
Imagine leaping over all of those hurdles, grabbing a gold medal, and then going to another country with this bitch to find out he a liar and a ho.
B
Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow.
A
So, yeah, I agree. If it did get hard and the sex still whack, then, you know, okay, well, this is gonna be.
B
There's nothing else to work with wrong with.
A
Not, you know, there's nothing wrong with just being like, okay, this isn't gonna work with us because the sex is trash.
B
Yes. And sex is a huge part of dating for the overwhelming majority of people, so that is perfectly fine. Y' all not sexually compatible. It is what it is. You can go your separate ways, but I would give it a shot just because everything else is so aligned. Like, what a good job. Nice nigga, nice. Good teeth. Nice breath. All that. Okay. Yeah. Where you finding all that? You're not finding all that.
A
That's already four stars right there. Because.
B
All right, good luck, Samantha. Let us know how it goes. All right, guys, we're gonna wrap up the listener letters right there. Again, if you have a question for us, send us an email. We are back, ladies and gents, and it's time for the read. I'll get started because I don't have one. I'm going to talk about House of the Dragon and the finale that just took place on Sunday. Spoilers. What season finale was on Sunday? Yeah, them episodes are. Seasons are short. Oh wait, eight episodes.
B
Oh yeah, you just said that. Damn. Wow, Okay. I really missed it.
A
I mean if I could have had two, three more, I mean, I wouldn't have complained. But okay, so just a quick, a couple of characters. One, I'm gonna start with Armin Hightower. Ha ha. And what a way to go, bitch. This motherfucker. Huge, huge battle. I mean it really wasn't all that epic, but they had like this fight towards the end. Ormond Hightower who is Alicent's brother. Cousin.
B
What do you say?
A
Cousin? It doesn't matter. Related to Alicent over there where her son has been missing and don't know how to know about him. Then they know about him. They're just like, oh, we gonna get him with him. And so anyway, Ormond has been a pest all this season like rhaenyra ain't shit, bitch. And I got this other one over here, he got a mini dragon. We're gonna fuck the game up. I'm gonna steal his. Like he's been over there trying to play the game of the thrones right? Pissing the girls off thinking that she everything. And here's another thing with you bitches on House of the Dragon. Just script wide, no politics. You can't go to nobody that has something that you need or want or some sort of an edge to them or a trap door that you know about and then go, oh real quick, I forgot to tell you something. You're poor, you ugly, don't nobody like you, don't nobody need you. Like, why do you keep setting people up to be like, oh, okay, well fuck you. I'm going to be incredibly active in your destruction in any way Possible. So anyways, here go Orman, acting a goddamn fool, deciding that he wanted to be a vision. He felt like he was going to play games even though everybody around him was telling him as soon as Rena's niggas get here, we're all going to die. There isn't anything besides your wild mind that is speaking to the possibility of us leaving here with our lives. We're all going to die. So if you could maybe adjust the approach here. No, I'm hard headed. No, I'm gonna do what I want. Do you know what that left Ormond Hightower with a large. A large dagger shoved directly up his ass. Oh. To which he was then promptly and viciously set ablaze by a dragon ridden by this same drunk white man that you just kicked over and called a basic bitch.
B
Oh.
A
You knew he had a dragon and you were pissed, rightfully so, that he wasn't where he was supposed to be and when he was supposed to be on the dragon. But you didn't have to disrespect him. You didn't have to call him poor and low born and ashy and all these other things that have nothing to do with it.
B
Low born is crazy.
A
They shoved a dagger. He was sodomized with a knife on hbo. And then after getting his ass beat and then immediately met with dragon fire. And you know there's no coming back from that.
B
No, no, no, no. You're over.
A
You're over that dragon fire is.
B
That's it.
A
Even if it don't immediately kill you, you'll never be the same.
B
Right? Right.
A
You can't put it out. And if you do, you'll want. You'll wish you were dead.
B
You're not recovering from that.
A
Haha is what you get. And the old, the. The bisexual. I can't remember your name. Who got thrown out, who got fired. Haha to you as well. Ho. I know you got something in your pocket, but bitch, that's what you get. I don't know why you felt like you was gonna fuck on this lady uncle, husband, baby, father, and then go over there and start eating her puss and then walk around in your new YSL garments and shit like that your Prada and feel like you was hitting your beat your own people out in the King's Landing streets had to come and tell you, bitch. You know that. You know that you a hoe, right? And you're always gonna be a hoe to these people. I can smell. I can smell that lady's pussy on your breath right?
B
Now, like you're smell the puss you.
A
Nobody cares about you. And you were feeling your beat. What happened? Immediately, they came up to you with that fucking cardboard box, with your fucking. Your Chia Pet, the rest of your little desk ornaments. They came and said, bitch, you no longer work here. Hit the streets. That's what you get. Why are you feeling yourself? Why are you feeling yourself? Corliss. One finger. Less dreads. Need a retwist, girl. Why were you playing games? And who are you yelling at? Who are you screaming at? Felicia. The one they be calling Felicia Targaryen. Oh, you don't watch it.
B
I don't.
A
This is a light skinned girl. Who.
B
Felicia Targaryen. Let's just say y' all are.
A
Cause she just Google Felicia Targaryen, it'll probably find Rhaena Targaryen.
B
Oh, yeah. Yeah.
A
Wow. On one hand, I'm glad that somebody came and scooped you babes, because I could see they put some conditioner in there. They put a little sacred in there, maybe. You know what I mean? Like, they give you your rituals and things because, you know, just the. The wild air and dragon breath wasn't really helping the. The health of. Of your. Your hair and your sebum. Oh, yeah, yeah, sebum.
B
Oh, yeah. Gotcha, sebum.
A
But really, this read is for your sister who had the nerve to go over and try and get at the queen, talking about some. Oh, well, you only need me for your dragon. And you taught everybody crazy. Girl, shut your ass. Last time she sent you out in the streets. Actually, she didn't send you out in the streets. Last time you ran out into the streets with her son, you came back alone. Nobody wants to hear anything from you. Nobody wants to hear anything from you. You already making out with your cousins or however the these related to you. Let me think. She your mama. So. Yeah, that was his. No, no, no. Yo mama is that one. And she, I think, was his. Y' all related. Not too distantly making out. So it pains me to see that the incest portion of the. Of the universe, it extends to people of all colors. But you're gonna have to pipe down. You're gonna have to pipe down for me. And y' all bitches could be mad. I live for evil, Rhaenyra. I love that she's going up to the priests and she's saying, stab them, kill them, don't care. I love that she's yelling in people's faces. I love that she's grabbing people by the scruff of their Neck and their chin and telling them, bitch, I'll kill you today if I want. And she. After all of this time, y' all gonna stop playing with. Yeah, after all of this time, y' all gonna stop playing with me. Has she been pretty shit since she came and taken that throne? Sure, but not too much. Unlike presidents who have come and sit, sat down in a chair after a white man before them said, you know what I'm gonna do to this nation? Piss on it.
B
Oh, yeah.
A
So I don't wanna hear none of that. She tired. She's tired. Is it all gonna blow up her face? Absolutely. But for this time, for here and now, fuck y'.
B
All.
A
I'm happy that she done put on her chain mail and her good her daddy crown and her armaments and shit and went out into the streets like, if you're not gonna suck my dick, you're gonna die. So what? You choose. I don't know. I don't know what else to tell you. I done fought for far too long, far too, too hard. I lost children, more than one. And I am still madly in love and married to my uncle. So I've had enough. I've had enough. And y' all go do what I say. At this point, you want this fucking throne, you're gonna have to come and kill me. I live. I live. You bitches can disagree if you want to. I love a dark sided story arc for a woman who has tried to play nice. See Willow, season six of Buffy. I love when a woman in a story is just like, okay, well I'm gonna take this glove off and I'm gonna take this glove off. And now you all die. The streets will run bled, run red with your blood. Jean Grey, Khaleesi. That one went wiring. But I love when a bitch is just like, okay, I see that. Nice is not going to work. Especially because an underlying theme in House of Dragon, House of the Dragon specifically, is patriarchy and the misogyny of people from all classes, like high born, extra wealthy people from the church in different houses are like, like, bitch, you can't be nobody's motherfucking queen. You can't run a fucking. You're not gonna sit in that throne. You're a woman. Gross. To even poor bitches in the street begging the. The. The throne for food, rice and bread. Or like a woman that's. That's not gonna work.
B
Sounds great.
A
Too emotional and stupid and gross. They need to just have babies, which is how her throne got usurped in the first fucking place. By her best friend, Daddy at the lead. On top of that, you bitches are going to stop playing with me. You're going to stop. I'm putting on my NYX cosmetics and I'm hitting the pavement. And if you don't like me, bitch, I'm slitting your throat. I live. But I had to start with Ormond Hightower.
B
Had to.
A
They shoved a knife up this man's ass and then set him on fire with a dragon flown by the bitch. He just dissed like, that was what Joffrey should have received. That's what y' all wanted for Cersei.
B
Yeah.
A
Oh, man, they absolutely demolished that bitch. I was like, God damn. I almost felt bad for the bitch. Fucked by a knife and then burned to death.
B
Okay. No, thanks. Actually, me fierce.
A
I'm done.
B
Oh, boy. Okay.
A
A big knife. I mean, like.
B
Like, bread slicing type of knife. Okay. Yeah.
A
Not. I'm talk. A dagger. A dagger.
B
Oh, oh, okay. I'm thinking, like, bread knife, butcher knife, brisket.
A
Damn.
B
Okay. Oh, yeah. Well, you know, it was back in the day or whatever, but, yeah, I
A
was like, oh, well, he's gonna. He's gonna die right now. He's either gonna bleed out or something, because there's no coming back from that. Like, it's like, this is death. They said, oh, yeah. Hold that thought. We got something for you. You don't even have to wait long.
B
Oh, man.
A
Okay, so now I'm watching Game of Thrones over again. And that's how. Oh, Caitlin Clark looks like Brynn. And I mean.
B
I mean, she does you. I laugh because she. They could be siblings. And, you know, I want to do this because I care deeply about women's basketball, but I don't, because I'm so tired of these white hoes. But I'mma do it anyway. I just have to say the WNBA before, like, 2022, 2023 was so fun, bro. And it still is. But Caitlin Clark has brought a lot of racist attention to the league. And Sophie Cunningham, her teammate, is just dialing right into all that MAGA bullshit. And so all these people who don't actually give a fuck about female athletes or women's basketball are deep in our business and ruining the goddamn vibe.
A
I'm sorry.
B
Ruining. Why is Dave Portnoy telling Kaitlin Clark to start her own league? To start her own basketball league? Actually. Please do, Caitlyn. Please go start the Triple C. I don't care what the C's stand for. Caitlin Clark connection. It don't matter. Go ahead and Start it and you and Sophie and whoever else is aligned with Yalls values and all that. Please, please go start your own league and leave the perfect. And leave the WNBA to the rest of us. Why is Dave port no even in our business. But this is not about Dave. This is about other asshole grunt like, yeah, oh yeah, why don't I just start a league? Yeah, a league that's going to play win when the W's not playing and when the Europeans aren't playing and when unrivaled and AU aren't playing. What time of fucking year is that?
A
It's the fact that I know that doesn't make any sense, child.
B
Anyway, like you anyway, talking about the. The you. The WNBA needs you more than you need them. That's actually not true. The WNBA has survived it survived 28 seasons without Caitlin Clark and will continue to go on after Caitlin Clark no longer plays. She's a great player. She's not the second coming of Jesus Christ himself. Like, it isn't. It isn't that serious. But anyway, like I said, this is about other terrible men today. This is Sophie Cunningham, that cunt Sophie Cunningham's fault for bringing the whole issue of trans players in the W, for even making that a thing. Because it isn't a thing. Because like I said last goddamn week, there has never ever, ever been a trans woman to play in the WNBA and the overall. Okay, anyway, so because of Sophie Cunningham and this all of a sudden being a hotbed issue, we have had two former NBA players say that they are going to now declare for the WNBA draft and they expect to be drafted or to be a part of the draft ceremony, et cetera, at the 2027 draft. This includes Royce White, who played in like three games 14 years ago, literally scored zero points, zero steals, zero rebounds, zero assists, and ines Cancer, who actually did have a real career, but has not played Since, I believe 2022. So two niggas who are not coming to the WNBA but who are deciding to say, you know what? All you have to do to be in the WNBA is declare that you are a woman. And so for the purposes of basketball, I am now a woman and I am going to be a part of this. And Royce White went so far as to buy himself a Beyonce honey blown bust down curly unit and posted a picture of him online and talking about it. Came y' all my first wig tomorrow I tested on the court. This is my feminine era. Glow up. Did I slay? If y' all don't yas queen, you're transphobic. I really don't understand all the hatred. I just want to play some hoops with my fellow ladies. Fingernail emoji Royce.
A
So stupid. Like, imagine doing all that. Sorry.
B
No, you're. You're not wrong. He said, I'm transgender. I'm a woman. I identify as. Sometimes identifying as a woman for the purposes of professional basketball. So I will be declaring for the 2027 draft. I think I'm unstoppable. I'm a team first guy. I'll do whatever the coach and the girls need me to do, blah, blah, blah. So y' all are taking the. The very real issue of trans people being discriminated against in sports and in life in general and turning it into a complete mockery because you're transphobic and probably all the other phobics as well. And so you just want to be a about this particular issue just because. And. And Roy, this even went so far as to say. Now this was an interview with Fox News. So I watched as little as possible, but went so far as to say that if he doesn't get drafted, he's going to look into legal action against the league. Because why wouldn't he be? Again, you've already played professional basketball and you did not do well.
A
You.
B
It's. It's zeros across the board for you on ESPN.com so I'm, I wouldn't be shy. And you. And most importantly, you're not women. You're not CIS women and you're not trans women. You're two men who are deciding to insert yourself into the conversation that so that somebody will talk about you. Congratulations. You are getting one crumb of attention that you would not otherwise get because your. Your NBA career was not impressive. Y' all are 230something. And why the fuck would anybody draft you when they could draft a 22 year old girl when they could draft Juju fucking Watkins or any number of incredible professional athletes scattered across Europe, China, Asia, the rest of Asia. Like, why would they. Why would they. Why would anybody entertain this? Seriously, you niggas are a fucking joke. Going so far as to buy a wig and take a picture and post it online. Sweetie, I think you might. You might really be exploring your wild. You might really be trying to taste the rainbow. And if so, do your thing, sister. Everybody is on their own journey. But don't be a to to trans women and try to turn this whole thing about trans people in. In sports. Don't. Don't do it that way. Just wear your wig, mama. We've all done it.
A
Go get a breastplate. Yeah, Real man. Yeah. And take selfies literally.
B
Just, you need to explore yourself without bringing the WNBA into it. And now, you know me, I'm not going to go simply off vibes. I'm actually going to go look at the research because a lot of this boils down to we don't think people assigned male at birth should be playing against people assigned female at birth. It's unfair advantage, blah, blah, blah. And there is not a lot of research about this, unsurprisingly, because the number of elite professional athletes is already extremely small compared to the rest of the population. And so when you add in trans people into that, it is, it's lower numbers than what we see in the general population, which is only half of a percent. We are talking. Y' all have enacted laws, My God, y' all have elected horrible people with zero experience, knowledge or expertise, none to office because of a problem that is not even really a problem. And it's not even just because the number of trans people. It's also because for people who are trans and seek gender affirming hormone therapy or surgical procedures, they actually do have physiological difference or physiological components that are closer to CIS people of their same gender. Like, they do lose a lot of, you know, whatever the advantage is, regardless of whichever sex you were assigned at birth. So trans people have been saying that forever. It's almost like if you actually are a trans woman, like if you. And, and so now the WNBA is going to have to get together their presidents and league officials and all this, and, and, and the CBA because, of course, because the WNBA's constitution and bylaws is also, you know, it's part of their collective bargaining agreement. So they're going to have to also get the WNBPA involved to be more clear about the rules because y', all, Sophie Cunningham decided to spearhead this issue. That is not a issue. And now we're gonna have to get together and be like, okay, you have to be a woman. We're not going to exclude trans people. The wnba, MPA put out a statement that said, we're not going to be used as political pawns. All this, you know, all this for the, the White House and all that. Leave us out of it. Division and hate and et cetera won't be tolerated. Trans people belong. Blah, blah, blah. So now we're gonna have to sit down and say, okay, you either have to be assigned female at birth, or if you were not assigned female at birth, you have to have Been on gender affirming hormone therapy. You must have had. Blah blah. Like they're gonna have to sit here and detail it all out because Sophie Cunningham and these dumb ass niggas want to pipe up about an issue that is not even a fucking problem. Imagine being this goddamn bored. Picture getting a job. Picture it. Picture Active employment, 40 plus hours a week.
A
Something hate is so lame. Hate is late. It's so. It's just so like you are involving yourself heavily in something you know nothing about or care anything about. Because you hate people that are not bothering or harming anybod that much.
B
Right?
A
Like when I talk about sports, everybody knows I'm joking.
B
Oh yeah, because it makes zero sense from the very beginning.
A
That's why it's fun.
B
Yeah, yeah, yep, it is.
A
But I'm like, imagine if I was like spending five, six days a week talking about NASCAR for no fuck reason. Just to hate like a child or something.
B
Just.
A
It's so stupid getting a wignies. All right, girl, Drag race is still on. If you audition at this point, they accepting all kinds of saying.
B
This is what I'm saying. Like you. I'm gonna read just a few little stats here for y'. All. After two years of gender affirming hormone therapy, trans women show little to no advantage over CIS women in tests like running one and a half miles or number of sit ups. Many performance differences in study metrics narrow substantially or disappear. Some small residual advantage may still persist in strength sets, in strength tests such as pushups and grip strength. In contrast, some areas suggest worse performance, as in lung effect, lung function, efficiency of breathing and fitness when normalized to body size. And again, this is all done on the very small number of trans people playing professional sports. Sports. Because most people don't make it to the level of professional sports, trans or not. And so what the fuck are we doing here now? What are we doing here? We're really taking this seriously. We're really going to have to deal with these men showing up. Like they went so far as to go find a trans woman playing professional basketball. Mind you, she's playing in France and she doesn't even play for the French national team. It's like a second tier, I don't know, maybe like a G league type of situation over there. And of course the reporting on her has been transphobic as they've been misgendering her and all that. But somebody did reach out to her and she said, you know, obviously if the WNBA reached out to me, I wouldn't say no. It's the fucking wnba. But you have to be realistic because I'm old and that are there are better players than me. And that's true. Regardless of your gender.
A
Right?
B
You can test. You can. You can have all of the girls in the WNBA right now do a bunch of strength tests and running and lung capacity and jumping and all that. And you're gonna get responses that vary all across the fucking board because different people have different abilities. Some of them are gonna have more testosterone than others, naturally, because people are different. This has. Again, this is not a problem. You niggas are fucking making it a problem. And we got all that going on. Sophie Cunning is so. Sophie, you're really the. You're really the. The bug in my ass here. And I have a feeling that when you're out the league, things are going to get a lot better because it's also. She's also behind what's going on right now with Dijonay Carrington and Emmanuel Acho. Because the Fever were playing the sky the other night. Dijonay was not finna let this bitch get away with no runaway layup, breakaway layup. And so she tried to block the shot, ended up fouling her. It was actually like a hard foul. She got ejected, which is enough, you would think would be enough of a punishment, but the way people online have been acting as if dejanae, you know, literally tried to beat this girl's ass and as if Sophie Cunningham herself has not committed similar fouls and not gotten kicked out the game. So anyway, it's the fact that the rules are not applied evenly between players, namely Sophie and Caitlyn versus everybody else, that caused Dijonay to go onto threads after she got ejected from the game. And she. She posted White Privilege at Indiana Fever gagged. I said, oh, Dijonay, I love that. I might have to stand Emmanuel Acho, though, which I'm sure you know him because y' all both work in the sports industry, but.
A
Right.
B
He saw this post on threads and tweeted, dijonay Carrington posted white privilege from the locker room. Judge for yourself. But color didn't have nothing to do with the flagrant too. Well, obviously, Emmanuel, what kind of sense does that make? So Dijonay saw this and said, I've never once claimed that the assessment of the foul was white privilege. That was your assumption. Try exercising your critical thinking skills. I know you studied psych. Furthermore, I'm the last thing from ignorant or asinine when it comes to speaking on white privilege. Do your research on that one. I actually went to school, one of the top universities, might I ask, to educate myself on this exact subject? I would never use that term as a rhetorical weapon, knowing the historical and social weight it holds without having the proper evidence to substantiate it. See, Emmanuel Acho thought that Dijonay Carrington was a dumbass like the men he normally be talking about. You normally be talking about male athletes, and they are stupid. Dijonay, though, right? Almost always. But Dijonay has bachelor degrees from Stanford in psychology and African American studies. So, yeah, she actually does know what she's talking about. And so then Emmanuel was like, well, respectfully, the problem is that it wasn't clear. And if we ignore the context of her ejection, then white privilege is just an explosive accusation. And it's on you to be more clear about it. Why not? Why isn't it on you to take two sexes and seconds to think about what she would be talking about? Why would she add the organization and not at WNBA refs or at Sophie Cunningham, etc. Etc. Etc. You didn't bother to think about it. You just react to whatever you think these crackers want to hear. That's what I truly believe about Emmanuel Acho. That he just says or does whatever is going to keep him on television. And if that means misinterpreting a black athlete's post after she feels like she was mistreated or the rules are unfairly applied, then so be it. I don't. I don't give too much to Emmanuel. I don't even too much care. I just know that the way that y' all have been acting about Dijonay is hilarious to me. It's hilarious to me that a black woman who actually calls out the. That is going on. And the fact that I'm not even going to say that she didn't deserve to be ejected because it was clearly a flagrant too. Like not intentional, which is why she wasn't suspended for another game. But fouls don't have to be intentional. You can accidentally smack the shit out of somebody and get ejected from the game. So I wasn't even arguing that she shouldn't be. It's that the rules are not uniformly applied. Caitlin Clark got her eighth technical. She should have been suspended for the game against the Liberty the other day. Was she? No, because she's the league's darling. And this Sophie Cunningham shit, she's running up right behind her. And y' all are really going to let your hatred of black women, black, masculine, presenting women, black Lesbians, lesbians in general, y', all. And trans and. And gay people. Y' all are really going to let all of them phobic six, y' all gonna let all of them people come right on in and absolutely wreck the vibes of the wnba. Or at least you gonna try. But the difference is that the. The people who actually go to the games are not necessarily the same as the people who be online kicking up the most about the W. And so the Fever organization and fans and attendees, they might be on Team Sophie and Team Caitlin and. And Team White Power. Everybody else ain't. Because why did dijonay Carrington get a standing ovation in Seattle the other day? Bitch, we're not on y' all side. We are fully supporting Dijonay and the rest of the black women of the wnba. Hey, I'm not with this nut shit. The trans thing is insane. 50 million different ways. It's not an issue. And yet all of a sudden it has to be an issue because of these white hoes. Girl, fuck out of here. Fuck outta here. And all of that on top of Chris DiMarco waving my favorite fucking player. This is the woman Lainey is named after.
A
Yeah.
B
Barely even played this fucking season. And now the Mystics got her. And the Mystics are already good. Mind you, the Mystics didn't need another weapon. Meanwhile, we got a collection of white European girls. Nobody's playing defense. We. We scraping the bottom of the playoff ladder. Like, oh. Oh, my God. Get me out of here, bro. And the Liberty. Talk about, hey, girl, you ready to renew your season tickets? Y' all f. To piss me off. I want Chris out of here. Why did we even. Why did we even hire. Let me ask you something. Let's say you're launching a new podcast. Would you hire an executive producer who had never listened to a podcast before? Because Chris DiMarco gave an interview where he talked about never having watched the wnba, and yet he was hired as the head coach of a WNBA team, an elite team at that. Get me out of here. Get me out of here. But that's separate from the real issues. That's me being mad at my specific team and sad to see Bed Nija go, because I truly do adore her. And I. Somebody told her that I named my dog after her. She was like, why? Like, girl, you're not used to having fans. You're my favorite fucking player. I'm devastated to see you go. I was so sad the day that we cut bed Nijah. I actually rolled up and smoked a Blunt, I have not done that in months, if not years. I have not smoked in I don't know how long, baby. I was distraught.
A
Why? Did somebody tell you that? Somebody told her that you named Lany out there?
B
Oh, I don't know. Probably just thinking about it, but, I mean, I get it. It, like, girl, not that. Who. Who am I to you? But I really. I just really enjoyed her as a player. When the Liberty moved to Brooklyn, I was just, like, locked in with her and Sabrina, so I hated to see this. And anyway, fuck all you trolls who are trying to ruin a good thing, okay? We've been having a black ass, queer ass woman, and everybody gender inclusive ass time. Don't come over here with yalls dumb shit trying to fuck it up. Please, please go over there to the barstool league with Dave Portnoy and Caitlin Clark. Yeah. Yeah. Why don't you just back her and y' all start your own league? Your own white power MAGA basketball Barbie league. And you and all of them people can go over there, leave our alone. But you're actually obsessed with us. It won't. It'll never work because you need to be agitated by us. You need our presence to piss you off because we're so much better than you are. Smarter, faster, more talented, etc. Etc. Anyway, yeah, I think that I. I think that's it for me. Stop acting like this issue of trans people in sports is. Is one that actually matters when a. A regular ass bag of Doritos is 5, 6 dollars. There are real problems in this country, so leave me the al.
A
I. I guess it is because, like, oh, here are these women, like, doing a woman thing for women, and it's like something that we attribute to men, and then they have the nerve to have black ones and gay ones and happy ones.
B
And the Fever are playing the Liberty, not this Saturday, but the next. And on the one hand, I don't want to sell my tickets because I don't want more Fever fans in Barclays. On the other hand, I hate going to Fever games. Oh, my God, the worst vibes. Y' all bring the worst people to this league. We will not miss you when you gone. Please go start your own shit.
A
Yeah.
B
And that's it for me.
A
All right, well.
