MAGGIE GYLLENHAAL'S BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN!! Fresh out of the theater, we’re giving our first reactions & review of The Bride! (2025) — the highly anticipated gothic reimagining of the classic Frankenstein mythology from writer and director Maggie Gyllenhaal (The Lost Daughter), marking her second feature behind the camera. Blending horror, romance, and dark satire, The Bride! revisits the legendary monster story through the perspective of the Bride herself, exploring identity, autonomy, and what it means to be brought to life in a world that fears you.
