Let's talk about a condition many people haven't heard of and it turns out it's more common than you'd think. Peyronie's disease, or PD for short. PD can happen when scar tissue builds up under the skin of the penis. This can cause a curve or bump during an erection and for some men lead to pain during intimacy and may impact mental health. It may also lead to anger and frustration, depression, lower self esteem, and even withdrawal from sexual activity and physical intimacy. Because of this, some men could feel embarrassed or reluctant to talk about pd. The actual cause of PD isn't always known. In some cases, it may be linked to a minor injury or repeated injuries during sex or other physical activity. The good news is PD is treatable. If you notice a curve with a bump, a trusted urology specialist can help diagnose it and walk you through your options, including non surgical treatment. Micah Richards
Lovely job, Lee.
Host
Is Micah frozen or is he actually thinking
Alan Shearer
you dickhead.
Host
Why is he a dickhead?
Alan Shearer
Cuz he's just copying it. Same as one below me. And he's probably got it right. Has he?
Host
He's spot on.
Micah Richards
No way. I'm thinking of going higher.
Host
It won't make any fucking difference because Al's spot on. How many do you think?
Alan Shearer
50.
Host
Micah?
Micah Richards
48.
Host
Alan is spot on.
Alan Shearer
I've got the point back. Come on.
Micah Richards
Oh my God.
Host
This episode is powered by Fuse Energy. Before the action starts, a word from Fuse who makes switching energy supplies easy to celebrate. Big moves. We're testing Alan and Micah on the Legends of the transfer window. Which Premier League club holds the record for the all time highest spend trans transfer window?
Micah Richards
We know that. We've done that on the pod before. It is Liverpool.
Alan Shearer
I'll go city then.
Host
Micro is correct.
Micah Richards
Of course I'm correct.
Host
How much did they spend? And obviously it was last summer.
Micah Richards
Yes.
Host
How much?
Alan Shearer
It was like 460 million, 425 million.
Host
You pretty much in the middle. 446 and a half million quid and where and you know. And they're not even in the league.
Alan Shearer
Yeah.

Hello and welcome to the Resties Football quiz edition with Micah Richardson, Alan Shearer, and thank heavens I'm back in the host chair after my pretty shambolic performances in the previous two quizzes.
Alan Shearer
I must be winning these quizzes, aren't I?
Host
No, I think Big Makes might be marginally ahead, actually comfortably ahead. How are we lads? Ready for action?
Alan Shearer
Ready, ready to go? What we got? What you got for us?
Host
Right, this one is. You ready for this?
Alan Shearer
Yep.
Micah Richards
Yeah.
Host
The most Premier League goals with the left foot.
Micah Richards
Oh my God.
Alan Shearer
Most Premier League goals with left foot.
Host
I'm gonna say. By the way, we're recording this just before the last game of the season so obviously things could change. So if anyone spots us a slight error because one of these players has scored, I'm giving a clue there. There are one or two players that are playing on Sunday so that, you know, forgive us on that one, but I don't think it'll really make any difference because even if someone does score a goal or two, it's not going to change the order. So Premier League players that have scored the most goals with the left peg. So I'll give you a few seconds to think about it.
Micah Richards
This, there's, you know, this is quite hard. This.
Host
Well, you know, you got to think about left footed players I suppose, but it doesn't necessarily mean that they're all left footed players.
Micah Richards
Can I go first, Al, this time?
Alan Shearer
Yes, you can go first, Micah. Give me, give me a bit more thinking time.
Host
Big Meeks to go first.
Micah Richards
Mo Salah. Mo Salah running down, down the wing.
Host
Salah, our Egyptian king. Well, unsurprisingly, he's in the top 10. Unsurprisingly, he's number one. Oh so great start for Micah. I mean we've talked about Mo many times but obviously his time is up at Liverpool. It could have ended a little bit. It could have a bit more amicably, but overall, I mean he's. His contribution to Liverpool over the almost decade that he's been there has been incredible, isn't it?
Alan Shearer
Yeah, he's been amazing. Been absolutely outstanding. One of the Premier League greats of all time. Set such a high standard and did so many great things for Liverpool. I wish it hadn't sort of ended in the way it has done but it is what it is. You obviously clearly don't get. Don't get on him and the manager and haven't done for a while. But yeah, that doesn't take away for what he's done for Liverpool has been absolutely outstanding.
Host
How many goals do you think he scored with his left foot? Some of them are brilliant as well, aren't they? You remember some of the goals where he jinx in and goes one way and then goes the other.
Alan Shearer
115.
Host
What do you think, Micah?
Micah Richards
I'll go 110.
Host
Well, you're way too low. Both of you. 155.
Alan Shearer
155.
Host
Well, if you think about it, you know, generally he was cutting him from the right hand side. Didn't really score hardly any headers, did he? So it's still an amazing number. So one point for Micah.
Micah Richards
Lovely jobless.
Host
Over to you, Alan Shearer.
Alan Shearer
Got to see Ryan Giggs.
Host
Ryan Giggs. Manchester United, playing the left. Played for nearly pretty much two decades. He's in there, Al.
Alan Shearer
Oh, get in.
Host
In fourth place, Ryan Giggs. How many goals do you think he scored with his left?
Micah Richards
Are we talking Premier League though?
Host
Are we talking Premier League goals? It's always Premier League. That's what these shows are, Mike. I mean we've done a few quizzes now and that's how it works. I played against Ryan Giggs. Obviously he's my last game and one of his first games and even then you could see that. I mean what a special player up and down that left side for Manchester United year after year after year. Lot of assists obviously, but also a lot of goals and quite a lot of them with his left foot. How many?
Alan Shearer
What Was more Salah? 155. 155.
Host
I will say though, Mo's quite comfortably clear of everybody else. Okay.
Alan Shearer
Oh, about 75, Micah.
Micah Richards
80.
Host
Close 83.
Micah Richards
I'm just doing five more or five less than I'll.
Alan Shearer
You're going first next time then.
Host
There are no points for being closest. I'm going to give half a point to anyone if you ever get the exact number of goals of any of our top 10. Or actually can I say we have a top 11. Oh, and how can that happen?
Micah Richards
We must have joint.
Host
Yes. Which joint?
Micah Richards
No.
Alan Shearer
What do you mean which joint?
Micah Richards
Joint 10th no or joint correct, Mike?
Host
Obviously if it's joint 8th. You just go to 10th, so it doesn't matter. Love it, Love it. Yes, we have joined 10th place players of which I'm sure you'll guess them at some point. So Micah Richards, back to you.
Micah Richards
Sorry, where, where was gigs? Sorry, fourth.
Host
Fourth.
Micah Richards
So Gigs, fourth. What about my mate Daniel Sturridge?
Alan Shearer
Oh, that's a good show.
Micah Richards
Lovely left foot.
Host
He did, he did actually. And he scored quite a lot of goals with that left foot, didn't he?
Micah Richards
Mm.
Host
I'm afraid there's a butt coming though, Mark, and the butt is he just misses out. He's in 12th. And if you consider we've got a 10th equal, you'll realize that that was really, really close. So your mate storage has let you down.
Micah Richards
Not for the first time.
Host
Yeah. Daniel Storage, 12th with 47 goals. So our first mistake.
Micah Richards
Can't believe it.
Host
So it's over to you, Alan. You've now got the advantage. Home advantage is gone.
Alan Shearer
Left footed. Premier League Robin Van Persy.
Micah Richards
Good shout.
Host
Good shout indeed. Robin Van Persy's in third place. Alex O.
Alan Shearer
Come on, Big Meeks, you know, both
Host
at Arsenal and Manchester United. I mean, we've talked about him many times on the podcast, but he was a very, very good finisher. I think the best one was definitely that ball from Rooney over the shoulder in that volley. First time volley.
Alan Shearer
Yeah.
Host
That was left foot, wasn't it?
Alan Shearer
Yeah, it was. Rooney pinged it with the right foot and it come over his right shoulder and hit it with his left. And he's. Brilliant finish.
Host
Yeah. Not an easy technique to do that, but. And he's all round game as well. Wasn't just scoring goals. Wasn't. Yeah, wasn't like probably us Al just hovering around the box. How many do you think? Robin Van Persien, he's in third place by the way, I'll tell you that.
Alan Shearer
And where was Giggsy?
Host
Giggs was fourth.
Alan Shearer
So he had. What did he have? 83, 88.
Host
Micah 84. Gone the wrong way again. 94, yeah. Pretty good effort from Robin Van Persie. So Alan is two one ahead and a break of serve.
Micah Richards
I'm gonna go with another ex team mate.
Host
Another one.
Micah Richards
Robbie Fowler.
Alan Shearer
Oh, it's a great shot.
Host
He's a teammate of yours at Man
Micah Richards
City towards the end.
Host
Of course he went to City at the end.
Pharmaceutical Advertiser
Yeah.
Host
How was he?
Micah Richards
Obviously didn't have the same end of
Host
his career by that stage, but.
Micah Richards
Yeah, but you could still see touch and technique, you know, the rondos or the boxes or the squares or circles. So Many names for him now. His touch was just amazing. He's round the corner. He always do that pass the outside of his foot. His left foot. Oh yeah. Technically was top notch.
Host
I think he's one of the best finishers of our generation. If I can include us all in that. Probably not but however good his technique though, Micah, he only got to second place. Oh no know Robbie Fowler is in second. How many goals do we think Robbie Fowler scored? Mo Salah got 155. Robin Van Persy 94. I can tell you now this is a clue. The answer lies somewhere in the middle of first and third.
Micah Richards
I'm going to go 123.
Alan Shearer
Allan 1:10.
Host
1:05. Oh, 105. Yeah. Mo Salah, 50 goals more with his left foot than any other player in the Premier League. Wow.
Alan Shearer
I've got one more than I'm. I think I might be even done after that.
Host
No, I don't think so. If you give it some thought, I think you'll be all right. We've got four over to you. Out. Who's the other one you think?
Alan Shearer
I can only think of one other left footed player that scored goals or crosses or whatever. One of your favorites. Mahrez.
Host
Oh shout Riyadh. Mahrez.
Alan Shearer
Yeah.
Host
I never thought about Mahrez until I saw this list and saw him in sixth place.
Alan Shearer
Sixth.
Host
Can we add more good shouts?
Micah Richards
Come on now.
Alan Shearer
I think I'm done now though.
Micah Richards
Yeah.
Host
Well obviously it's not just Leicester but it was also Martin, Manchester City. That brilliant thing where he cut in and bend it, he was one of the experts at that, wasn't he? So how many do you think? Riyad Maurice in sixth place.
Alan Shearer
67.
Host
Micah.
Micah Richards
59.
Host
62. Oh, you must have enjoyed watching him at Manchester City, Micah. I mean his first touch. His first touch is velvet.
Micah Richards
Oh, and the ball used to come up outside of the four inside of for any. But you know what I love most about it? It was a touch and the pass quickly, wasn't it? Oh, he was a player. We're talking. How much did he go to Leicester for? Was it half a million?
Host
Yeah, practically nothing. I mean what a buy that was. What a buy.
Micah Richards
Incredible.
Host
Obviously part of the Leicester City Premier League went inside. Yeah. Funny enough in the Jamie Vardy interview that I did, which is out and if you haven't heard it yet, it's there on our feed. Please do so because Jamie was in pretty good form and we talked about Morris and he was saying he was one of those wingers he Said I used to make my run and then he chopped back and you go, oh, for Christ's sake, he said. Then he cut inside and he'd curl it in the top corner. You go, all right, fair enough, fair enough. What a player, what a player. I think both for Leicester and even when he jumped up to Manchester City, I think they've missed him on that right hand side.
Micah Richards
Without doubt. Yeah. Him sane, sterling. They missed them all outstanding wingers.
Host
That brings the score to Alan 3, Micah 2. At half time there's plenty of time to turn the surround mica, which we'll try and do after the break. This segment is brought to you by Klarna. Football this summer is going to feel quite different. It's bigger than ever before. A record number of teams competing across three host nations. Meaning more travel, more stories and plenty more football. But do these format changes make the tournament better or. Or just bigger? Well, it's certainly bigger.
Micah Richards
Yeah, it's bigger. But my mate plays for Curacao. Leandro Bakuna. Curacao. I think I've only got 156,000 people. People.
Host
Wow.
Micah Richards
That is ridiculous. To get to a World cup and be doing that, there must be legends there. So I'm looking forward to that. So in terms of those type of stories, I think it's really good, you know, teams you wouldn't normally see there. It's going to be more time. It's going to feel as though there's not maybe as high intensity games early on in the competition. But yeah, I'm delighted.
Alan Shearer
More games to watch. I think it'd be more difficult for players, different time zones, perhaps less rest in terms of the qualification. Top two plus eight groups of the third place isn't it as well.
Host
So you get extra knockout round will be. I think that will be enjoyable because obviously that's when the jeopardy is high. The group stages, I think people will be feeling their way in all I can't envisage the big teams not getting through because of the quality of the groups and the fact that there's a bigger World cup. But I think once it gets the knockout to get an extra knockout round when it's. Because that's when it really kicks off, isn't it?
Micah Richards
Yeah. But at the end of the tournament we're always saying we wish there was more games. We've got more games. So let's, let's enjoy it because when the World Cup's on, it's amazing.
Host
It's going to be good.
Alan Shearer
Be a good one. Absolutely.
Host
I worry a Little bit about the ticket pricing, but there's going to be some great venues for fans to watch at. And if you're watching at home, there's going to be a hell of a
Alan Shearer
lot on the game. Can you remember four years ago when we were complaining that we had to travel 550 minutes in a car to the, to the stadium? Now we have to travel hours and hours, different time zones and everything to. To get to game.
Micah Richards
So you're flying from game to game, aren't you? Because when you're working a lot of
Alan Shearer
traveling, the air miles will be taken up differently.
Host
What states you in countries?
Alan Shearer
Just America, New York starting in Boston and then in Boston back to New York and then three or four others. Then until the next rounds, then we don't know where we're traveling, but.
Host
And it's going to feel quite hot. You've talked about it quite a bit, the heat that will play a part in this World Cup. You've got Mexico, America, obviously, really hot. You know, summer in Canada.
Alan Shearer
Well, you know about playing in Mexico, don't you? So one of the hottest tournaments I played in to begin with was in 98 when we played in the south of France. First game, Tunisia. Oh, my God. It was ridiculous.
Micah Richards
And it hinders you, doesn't it?
Alan Shearer
Yeah.
Micah Richards
Surely it's got to help the South American teams. It has to. If they're used to the climate. Come on, guys.
Host
They don't play there. Most of their players, they mostly play in Europe and stuff.
Micah Richards
No, but they've grown up with it, haven't they?
Host
But every tournament really is hot.
Micah Richards
No. Okay, so when the Scotland players come
Host
in Berlin, how hot it was there in the Euros? That's Euro.
Micah Richards
Yeah, but it wasn't that. It wasn't that hot, was it?
Host
It's not going to be that hot in America. I mean, it will be in some parts.
Micah Richards
What we always say when the South Americans come over on a cold day at Stoke, you know what I mean? It's difficult for them because they're not used to that climate, you know, Rio or Stoke, you know what I mean?
Host
Yeah, but they generally prove that wrong, don't they, by playing quite well. Well, whether it's tweaking formats, introducing new rules, or simply making tournaments, bigger changes in football will always be up for debate. But the best changes are usually the simplest. They just make things fairer, clearer, better. Klarna is doing something similar, giving you smarter ways to stay on top of your money and rewarding you for your everyday spending all in one place. Host
Welcome Back to the Resties football quiz episode with Michael Richards and Alan Shearer who are competing. I'm the host and it's three, two currently to Alan. Mike had first pick but Alan's turned it around. So you're chasing it. Micah, you need to deliver here. We've got five names, there are another six because we've got a joint 10th. So we've got 11 players, so might make it a fraction easy. I don't know. What have you got? What have you got in your locker, as they say nowadays.
Micah Richards
I've definitely got a couple more still. Have you a lot in my era out there.
Host
Why are you looking at me like that, Mikey? Do you think I'm going to give something away?
Micah Richards
No, I'm good for now. Romelu Lukaku.
Host
Romelu Lukaku.
Alan Shearer
I would never have got him.
Host
Would you not? Why not, Al?
Alan Shearer
I never even thought Lukaku.
Host
No.
Micah Richards
Remember Everton, West Brom?
Alan Shearer
Yeah, I know, yeah.
Host
He's played a lot of teams but despite the fact that he's played in a lot of teams, he's only in seventh.
Micah Richards
Oh, you happy?
Host
Yeah. So three, three is the score.
Alan Shearer
Who did Micah get wrong? What was the one you got wrong, Micah?
Micah Richards
Storage. My old pal stood.
Host
So Romelu Lukaku. I mean his goal scoring record, wherever he's been has been pretty extraordinary. Also international level, I'm going to pose the question. Slightly underrated,
Alan Shearer
I think maybe that depends on which club he's been up.
Host
Yeah, yeah.
Alan Shearer
Perhaps didn't do enough at Man United, did he? He was always a threat and hard to play against, I thought. But then I United, I thought he should have scored more.
Micah Richards
Yeah, I think, I think that's fair. I think it's one of those things where because we're in an era of social media and when you're a big lad up front, if you don't get older, the ball people just call you a donkey, don't they?
Host
It was definitely not that.
Micah Richards
All the memes going around about him wearing Timberland boots similar with Jokerez earlier on in the season until they won the league.
Host
Can I tell you the people that do that though, Micah? People that generally are probably not very good at football.
Micah Richards
Yeah, but he's still out there, isn't it?
Host
I have no idea how good you have to be to be in the Premier League, let alone in the Premier League's top 10 left footed goal scorers.
Micah Richards
Yeah, I like it. But it's in terms of if you speak to people who have played the game, I think he's he's got his respect.
Host
I agree. So what's the number?
Micah Richards
So Mahrez was 59. We said.
Host
No, Mahrez was 62.
Micah Richards
Oh, 62. Sorry.
Host
Lukaku is one place below him. In seventh place with 59.
Micah Richards
Let's go 59.
Alan Shearer
Oh, 58.
Host
Oh, you went the wrong way. It should have been 60.
Alan Shearer
Bollocks.
Host
Oh, it's tense. Right. It's three. Three, all square and Alan Shearer. It's over to you. We're getting to squeaky bum time.
Alan Shearer
The one that you got wrong, you said was storage. Yeah, I'm really struggling here now, guys. Just gonna go back to someone at Newcastle and Blackburn. Saha.
Host
Louis Saha.
Alan Shearer
Louis Saha.
Micah Richards
Can we get it right, mate? Can we get it right?
Host
No. Well, you don't need to know their first name as well.
Micah Richards
Well, I mean there's another. I don't know if he meant Zaha from Crystal Palace.
Alan Shearer
You know, if I'd have said Zaha, I would have said Zaha instead of Saha.
Host
That's what I just wanted to be clear. We don't want any mistakes on this quiz.
Alan Shearer
It's Louis Saha.
Host
Louis Saha is in 13th. 13th with 46 goals. He just missed out. Louis Sahar. So no. Now then, advantage goes back to one Micah Richards. Who now it's like a tie break this, isn't it? You're now serving Micah with the scores at three.
Micah Richards
Three I thought was in.
Host
I've only got a list of the top 15, by the way. That's all we could find in the. In the records for this. But anyone outside the top 15, I won't know their position. But Luis Sahar was 13th.
Micah Richards
I'm going to go with someone who I wouldn't say he's known for his goals, but his hold up play was immaculate. He won the World cup without scoring a goal. Olivier. He's left footed.
Host
What do you mean he wasn't known for his goal scoring?
Micah Richards
Well, in terms of he's holding up the ball. He went to World cup and did score, didn't he?
Host
I know, but he's. His goal scoring record's really good.
Micah Richards
Is it? Well, that means. Is that music in the top 10?
Host
Not necessarily. Because a lot of his goals might have been scored with his head. Micah.
Micah Richards
Ah,
Host
but he is in ninth place, Olivia. I mean. Yeah, that thing. Didn't you know? I am beautiful. A good looking boy, I think.
Alan Shearer
Who was the other Frenchman that won the World Cup? Center forward. Didn't score.
Host
Yeah, he played for Newcastle.
Alan Shearer
Yes.
Host
Right.
Alan Shearer
Al, do I get an extra point.
Micah Richards
Nope.
Host
You do if he's in the top 10.
Alan Shearer
He's not in the top 10.
Host
He's nowhere near.
Alan Shearer
No.
Micah Richards
Who was it? Who was it?
Alan Shearer
Oh, Givash.
Micah Richards
Oh.
Host
And I always remember you saying he wasn't very good at Newcastle.
Alan Shearer
Yeah, he didn't do very well.
Host
He didn't do very well, but he's a World cup winner without scoring a goal. Olivier Giroux has scored goals, obviously, for France in World cup finals, but not the year that they won it. How many do you think?
Alan Shearer
50?
Host
Micah?
Micah Richards
48.
Host
Oh, close. Mike, you're only two out because Alan is spot on.
Alan Shearer
I've got the point back.
Host
So that's four. Four.
Alan Shearer
Have some of that.
Host
Oh, Mike is distraught. He's distraught. There's still time, Micah. You gotta dig deep now. I mean, Olivier Giroud, he scored the Scorpion goal, didn't he? That incredible goal.
Alan Shearer
He was a right handful.
Host
It was. He was, wasn't he?
Alan Shearer
And he.
Host
And his movement, I always thought was really good. Yes, he was kind of your all round number nine, you know, held it up really well. It also his movement in the box was really good. He could finish with either foot, particularly the left one, I think, 50 times. And also he was. He was very good in the air.
Alan Shearer
Yeah, he was a right handful to play against. Definitely.
Host
Well, it's four. Four. And it's over to you, Alan. And you said you run out of names.
Alan Shearer
I am. I'm struggling. I'm. I'm really struggling.
Micah Richards
I think I've got one or two more.
Alan Shearer
Have you really? Oh, God, you've done me on this one. Any clues go on as yet, guys?
Micah Richards
Not yet. Not yet. Next round, I think.
Host
Yeah. Once we get to nine of the 11 names, I'll give clues. You shouldn't need clues.
Micah Richards
Now.
Host
There's one obvious one.
Alan Shearer
Is there one obvious one? I need a clue, guys. Need a clue.
Host
Fat me. Al is an obvious one. Current.
Alan Shearer
Current.
Host
I'm gonna give you that. I'll give you current.
Alan Shearer
Still currently playing in the Premier League.
Host
Two of the four are still currently playing in the Premier League.
Alan Shearer
Harland.
Host
Of course. Harland, for crying out loud. It's obvious, isn't he?
Alan Shearer
Come on. There you go.
Host
Strikers.
Alan Shearer
What am I even. How can I not even think of that?
Host
Was he one you had, Micah?
Micah Richards
Yes, of course it's the one I thought.
Alan Shearer
Yes.
Host
I'm glad I didn't need to give you a proper clue because that would have been embarrassing for you.
Alan Shearer
Goodness me.
Host
Oh, that's good. That's good. He is in fifth place already. And he's only been here what, four years? How many?
Alan Shearer
82.
Host
Micah?
Micah Richards
81.
Alan Shearer
You.
Host
Why is he a.
Alan Shearer
Because he's just copying it. Same as one below me. And he's probably got it right. Has he?
Host
He spawned. This time. You went the right way. You went down. Up.
Micah Richards
Well, 83, wasn't he? So I could go up.
Host
Oh, I mean, I think we might have mentioned Erling Harland a few times on the podcast over the last three years since we started.
Alan Shearer
He's a beast.
Host
Proper goal poacher, proper finisher.
Alan Shearer
He's a beast of a center forward. Yeah, he's grit.
Host
Now.
Alan Shearer
I love the wee police.
Host
Yeah. The pace, the power, the movement, the finishing abilities. Well, I mean people talk about his hold up play and all that and I used to get that nonsense, you know, but he sticks it in the onion bag, doesn't he? Even in this season where City have probably not been at their imperious best, he's still going to win the golden boot.
Alan Shearer
Yeah.
Host
We're recording this before the the final fixtures on Sunday. So if Thiago scores six goals, something goes past it, our bad. Okay, But I don't think there's much chance of that. So yeah, absolutely brilliant player.
Alan Shearer
Might have another one, by the way. Just come to my head.
Micah Richards
Oh my God, here we go. He's been asking Gemini, hasn't he? On the Google phone,
Host
the current, he said, to be honest, Mike, his hands are there. I think he's praying it's five, five, three names to get so over to you. Big makes.
Micah Richards
I had damaged silver.
Alan Shearer
No, that was the one I was just thinking of.
Micah Richards
Yeah, he's my teammate. Left footage and they're the two I had Harland the damage silver. Surely it must be the top 10. The little wizard.
Host
He's actually on my list. He's 11th.
Alan Shearer
Oh, you've got it though. You've got it.
Host
But that's only because there's a joint 10th. So he is in the list.
Micah Richards
Lovely job. Leg.
Alan Shearer
You've done me now. That was the one that popped into my head and I really am struggling now.
Host
David Silva is in 10th place. I mean, gorgeous, gorgeous little footballer, technically really good. And obviously scored a lot of goals as well. And a former teammate. If he hadn't got him, that would have been poor.
Micah Richards
But also the impact he had because when we had all the investment and all the new players, don't forget, if he would have come into the team while Pep was just taking over, you would have seen it even better. He was carrying Us for a couple of years. David Silva, you know, that's how good he was. Like you said. Technically, his spatial awareness first touch was just. Oh, it was a joy to play.
Host
Why does Spain produce so many of those kind of players?
Micah Richards
I saw something on Instagram. There's a young kid. What's the academy called in Barcelona?
Host
La Masia.
Micah Richards
There's this kid left footed. Honestly, he's like Messi already. It's not normal.
Host
I've seen him. I think I know you mean I don't know his name. It's mad, isn't it? Man produced them.
Micah Richards
But he's like. He must have been under 12, under 13, he's this high. And for those who can't see me, he's SH Phillips height, sort of. And everyone's sort of double the size of him and he's taking them on and he's. Oh my word, what a player.
Host
We've got point here if you get the exact number he's joined. 10th. How many goals?
Micah Richards
48 out.
Alan Shearer
49.
Host
Oh my goodness gracious me. One of you's got it right.
Micah Richards
It's Alan, isn't it?
Host
It's Al. Yeah, I think that makes it six. Six. Oh my God, he's pulled one.
Alan Shearer
I only did what you just done to me.
Micah Richards
So why didn't I? I had first pick. Why didn't I just say 49?
Alan Shearer
Oh, cuz, I haven't got a clue.
Host
8th place and 10th place we've got left. One of them is still playing in the Premier League and one of them has recently left the Premier League.
Alan Shearer
Oh, have you got any Micah?
Micah Richards
No, I'm all out. I'm all out.
Alan Shearer
Me too.
Host
Let's say he's had a bit of bad news in the last week.
Micah Richards
Bad news.
Host
Bowen, Is that you? Guess I can't tell you whether you're right or wrong until.
Alan Shearer
Yeah, that's my guess.
Host
Jared Bowen is indeed in 14th place. Oh my. Chris. Someone else who had bad news this week, not just J Bone.
Micah Richards
Oh, hey, was he former Manchester City?
Host
Guys, I'm not giving you any more clues than that, for crying out loud. Oh, oh, Oh, come on.
Micah Richards
No, obviously there was two that had bad news this week. Al, if you connect the dots well.
Alan Shearer
Well, you've got to name one of them cuz I'm going to name the other one straight away.
Micah Richards
That's the conunction by out of face right now.
Host
Oh, I need a name. Is Micah frozen or is he actually thinking.
Micah Richards
Hold on. All right, so he's been doing it longer so I'M gonna go. Philip. Philip Foden.
Host
Philip Foden is in eighth place.
Micah Richards
Yes. Hey.
Host
Micah now has a lead. A one. A one goal lead going into the final seconds. But you can rescue this and take it into extra time. Phil Foden. How many goals?
Alan Shearer
52.
Host
Micah, you thinking going higher or lower? Micah? Higher. Higher. Higher.
Micah Richards
I'm thinking of going higher.
Host
It won't make any difference because I was spot on.
Micah Richards
This is absolutely same. Absolutely.
Host
This is dramatic. We're level.
Micah Richards
We're level.
Host
We're level.
Micah Richards
What a guess that was. Oh, my God.
Host
You can do any names you like and you can shout them all out, right.
Alan Shearer
Palmer.
Micah Richards
No, it's not Gareth Bale, is it?
Host
No.
Micah Richards
Left foot. They're still playing now. You said guys.
Host
Yeah, still playing, but no longer in the Premier League. I think you'll know his father.
Micah Richards
His father.
Host
I'll give you a clue. I don't think this plays left footed. Oh, I think he's two footed.
Micah Richards
Ah.
Alan Shearer
Wright. Phillips.
Host
No, more recent. More recent. Very recent.
Alan Shearer
I can see an amicable draw coming along. I'll take.
Micah Richards
I'll take the draw down. I'm happy with this. No draws.
Host
No draws.
Micah Richards
I'll take the draw down.
Host
Yeah. He's playing in America.
Micah Richards
He plays in America right now for a team. And is he English?
Host
No.
Micah Richards
Okay.
Alan Shearer
Oh, my goodness.
Host
Yeah. I love this because you're gonna go. We watched him for a long time.
Alan Shearer
Heads done, heads bashed in.
Host
Come on, lads. Right, you need to be fast on your buzzers here, because as soon as I mentioned the team, the first person to shout out his whole name wins.
Micah Richards
Give us another minute.
Host
No, no, no, no. You don't need a minute. You just need to be ready. There's no buzzers. Just shout it out and the first person gets it. Right. Tottenham Bail.
Alan Shearer
You said beer.
Host
No, no one's mentioned it. And you're gonna kick yourselves as well.
Micah Richards
Go on, tell us. No, put us out.
Host
No, you're gonna get it. I'm gonna give you one more clue, which is the easiest thing ever, right? He is known for a partnership with someone else that played for Tottenham for a long time. I mean, how many clues did you need?
Micah Richards
You know what? For some reason, I just thought he retired. In my mind. I just thought he retired. I was like, I've not heard anything from for a while.
Host
Oh, well, you have now.
Micah Richards
Yeah.
Host
I mean, he had that incredible partnership, obviously, with Harry Kane.
Alan Shearer
We must have went through every forward of the last 30 years.
Host
It. I mean, it's easy when you know, and sometimes you can't. Your mind gets scrambled but in quizzes but Hyung Min Son well, there's no points for guessing the number of goals because it's that the same as David Silver. That's two. Even you two naughtys can work that one out.
Alan Shearer
49.
Host
49. One short of a 50. One short of a 50. But yeah what what a player he was over such a long period of time and that combination with Harry Kane was was something else. So congratulations Mike. I'm all it didn't feel like a victory. It was. It was more not losing I think was the key in that one.
Micah Richards
I would have took the draw. Yeah. Three minutes ago. Three minutes before.
Host
Oh well. Went to a penalty shootout and Micah.
Micah Richards
What?
Alan Shearer
Well done Big mix.
Host
Well done big mix. That's it for this episode of the Rest is football.
Micah Richards
Goodbye from Goodbye for me.
Alan Shearer
Goodbye for me.
