Rob Carson
Hold it now.
Rob Carson (Intro/Host)
You are about to hear the most interesting, informative, thought provoking and funny show in America on air and on the World Wide Web. This is the Rob Carson Show.
Rob Carson
This is the Rob Carson show, hour number two of the Rob Carson Show. And Fred Fleitz is going to join us at the bottom of the hour to talk about, you know, what's going on in Iran and what's happening around the world. Because we are witnessing history and the demons of the world, the darkness of the world that has kind of encapsulated the entire world for the last decade or so. They're still clawing and scratching, man. They're still trying to take us down with them, but we're not going. Freedom is spreading. It is. Freedom is spreading. And the Democrat Party is, you know, crawling and scratching and trying to drag us into hell with them. So we will get to all of that. Larry Krasner is an insane Philly da. He's a George Soros da. And he says that if ICE comes to, to the Philadelphia airport, he's going to arrest him. I will put you in handcuffs and I will put you, you are a bug. You in a courtroom. And if necessary, I will put you in a jail cell if you decide to make the terrazzo floor of this airport. Wow. To Rozov. He had to throw that in there. I mean, my God. I mean, my God, anything like what you did in the streets of Minneapolis, which, which is to arrest illegals and then get attacked by insane people driven into a frenzy by people calling ICE Nazi and Gestapo for the last five years. And then they do insane crap like try to run over ICE agents or, or attack them. With a gun on them involved the criminal homicide of. There's no criminal homicide. No charges have been filed. You're wrong.
Hakeem Jeffries
Armed, innocent people.
Rob Carson
No, he was armed. Actually, she was armed with a truck and he was armed with a gun. We are not having that. Oh, you are. You have got.
Fred Fleitz
Wow.
Rob Carson
I got to tell you what, son. Everything you say, every word you say screams small manhood to me. I mean, everything you say, the terrazzo tile really gave it away. You. You have obviously a very small manhood. You're trying to make up for some. I don't know what's going on. I don't know some weird going on with you, but I don't know what it is. But anyway, honestly, please, try it. Try. Try it. Try it, you fool. You know what I want to see? I want to see Trump bring the National Guard into the Philadelphia airport. We'll see if they'll try to try the National Guard. That'd be kind of fun. Here is Donald Trump talking about refunding ds, dh, DHS agents, because Democrats want ICE defunded. It's been funded, and Democrats want to steal elections with illegals. You support the what appears to be
Fred Fleitz
emerging agreement coming out of the Senate
Hakeem Jeffries
to reopen the well, I'm going to
Rob Carson (Intro/Host)
look at it, and we're going to take a good hard look at it. I want to support Republicans. And, you know, sometimes it's awfully hard to get votes when you have Democrats that don't want to have voter id, they don't want to have proof of citizenship, they don't want to do anything about men playing in women's sports. That's one of the items we put on. You know, and I did that just because it's so popular. You know, they say that's.
Rob Carson
They call it Save America, act for a reason, because there's a whole lot of bull crap the Democrats pulled on us that were trying to destroy America.
Rob Carson (Intro/Host)
At least an 8020 issue notice about a 99. 1. I don't think it's. What do you think? Do you think it's 8020? Who's closer, 8020 or 99 1?
Caller/Guest
Almost.
Rob Carson (Intro/Host)
Yeah. I think 100 is really. So, you know, so. So I support that.
Rob Carson
And, you know, the Democrats are the opposite of rugged individualism. Like, for instance. And Lisa Murkowski is not a Democrat, but she says, well, yeah, we can't do this because, you know, people live so far away from each other up here in Alaska, be an undue burden to try to get identification. We lived in a Time where people voted when they had to travel by wagon and horse. Dude. Okay, There were things where a whole hell of a lot more difficult to just survive. You had to hunt for your own dinner, by the way, and people were still able to vote. Isn't that crazy? Isn't that crazy? So honestly, this is all bullcrap, you know? And they always. They find something new. One minute it's black people can't get id. They drop that because everybody's calling out on them being so bloody racist about black people not getting id. And they're still saying women can't get an ID after they get married. Which says. The Democrat Party says, ladies, you can't survive without a man in your life. That's what they're saying. Without a man in your life, you are completely helpless. That's what they're. I'm not saying it. That's what they're saying. They're saying if you leave your husband and you got to get a divorce, you're screwed. You can't survive without him. That's what they're saying, by the way. So there you go. But then the latest thing also is the birth certificate. Nobody has a birth certificate. I hate to tell you this. I have known where my bloody birth certificate has been since the day I was born. We have kept a folder, first of all, my wife and I, in the same folder in the file cabinet, birth certificates. On the label, it says birth certificates. When the kids were born, they each got a birth certificate. You know why? Because they were born. Yeah, I know, I know. It's hard for Democrats to understand because usually you like to have the babies die before they're born. So you don't even need a birth certificate. But for the ones you decide to let live, you get a birth certificate. So we got. I knew where the kids birth certificates were. Whenever I needed a birth certificate, I'd go get my birth certificate when I had to get a passport, got my birth certificate when I went to move to Kansas, went to get another driver's license, took my birth certificate, had it right there ready to rock. And it's pretty easy to get another one. All you got to do is go to the municipality in the state where you were born and go on their website and say, I need a birth certificate. It's really that simple. It's really that simple. But suddenly nobody can get a birth certificate. I don't know where my. You don't know where your birth certificate is? You got to find your birth certificate if you know where yours is. I have no clue where mine is.
Fred Fleitz
Do you know where your birth certificate is?
Rob Carson (Intro/Host)
Could you find your birth certificate?
Rob Carson
No, I couldn't.
Rob Carson (Intro/Host)
Could you find.
Fred Fleitz
I don't know where my birth certificate is.
Rob Carson
Do you have your. Do you have the passport or your birth certificate? Passport or a birth certificate?
Fred Fleitz
Passport.
Whoopi Goldberg
Birth certificate or a passport? Birth certificate. Birth certificate.
Rob Carson
Birth certificate.
Rob Carson (Intro/Host)
Passport.
Fred Fleitz
A lot of Americans don't even have a passport.
Rob Carson
Birth certificate.
Fred Fleitz
Birth certificate to.
Rob Carson
Birth certificate.
Hakeem Jeffries
Birth certificate or passport? Birth certificate.
Caller/Guest
Birth certificate. Passports, Passports. Birth certificate.
Rob Carson
Birth certificate.
Caller/Guest
Passport. Passport. Birth certificate.
Eric Schmidt
Birth certificate. Birth certificate.
Caller/Guest
Passport. Birth certificate. Passport. Birth certificate.
Rob Carson
Yeah, you know, you can get a passport and a birth certificate. It's not that big a deal. And listen, we've got. Let me see, what month? March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November. You got eight months to get proof that you are a citizen so you can enjoy one of the rights of citizenship, which is to vote. There you go. And if you're not, guess what? You can't vote. But yesterday on the Joe and Mika show, they shortened their show. Morning Joe's down an hour shorter because nobody's watching the damn show. And they're kind of tired of these two elites. They're just insufferable elites. They're that couple at the cocktail party who just think there's all that, and you're like, I don't want to talk to them. My God. Yuck. Anyway, so yesterday, Joe embarrasses her as he always does, although she should just be embarrassed to be there because you know of her. But he decides to just tell everybody in the world she has no clue where her birth certificate is. She's so stupid. She doesn't know her birth certificate is. Not only does Mika not know where her original birth certificate, which under the
Fred Fleitz
SAVE act, would get her kicked off
Rob Carson
the voters, and then she'd have to
Rob Carson (Intro/Host)
come back and re register, and she
Rob Carson
would find out on election day that she could not vote. Yeah. Oh, yeah, she would find out. No, she wouldn't. She's already registered you. Ridiculous. Here's. Here's Whoopi Goldberg being hypocritical on id.
Whoopi Goldberg
You have to present your ID when you go to vote. I always have to give them my driver's license. Yeah, so they can.
Victor Davis Hanson
Really?
Rob Carson
I thought you said you didn't need
Whoopi Goldberg
to make sure that it's me.
Rob Carson
What? Did you hear what she just said? She has to present her ID to vote so they'll know it's her. That would be the argument.
Whoopi Goldberg
You don't have to.
Caller/Guest
I didn't have to do it.
Whoopi Goldberg
They all have to.
Rob Carson
You don't know.
Whoopi Goldberg
They have all this information.
Rob Carson
And now all the video casts are like, you're just killing our argument. We've been trying to lie about this, you know, so we could continue to have illegals vote. What are you doing? Whoopi golden commercial. Go to commercial.
Whoopi Goldberg
Vote in the, in the voter registration. Well, it's all the information suing the state so that they get that information. And a lot of that is very personal information. Well, you know what? A lot of information that we have given away ourselves is very personal. Allow them to go in and get information.
Rob Carson
Realizes she just stuffed in a whole pile of.
Whoopi Goldberg
You probably shouldn't give away. But my point is we have all the things in place. What is it? What is this about? I don't want to have.
Rob Carson
She did completely screw the argument. It's so fantastic. Oh, man. You know what? I forgot my darn View theme song. Gosh darn it. I had this new View theme song and I, I was going to start playing it every time I played the View. And so let me see if I can find it here because I really got to start playing this here, here's the View theme song, by the way. It is
The View Theme Song Singer
Talk a lot, pick a little more, Pick a little, talk a little, pick a little, talk a little, cheep, cheep, cheep, Talk a lot, pick a little more, Pick a little, talk a little, pick a little, talk a little, cheep, cheep, cheep, Talk a lot, pick a little more, Pick a little, talk a little, pick a little, talk Cheep, cheep, cheetah. Pick a little more, pick a little, Todd a little, pick a little, talk
Rob Carson (Intro/Host)
a little, cheep, cheep, cheep, cheep, cheep, cheep, cheep.
Fred Fleitz
There you go.
Rob Carson
By the way, the View, they were told by the FCC because they're in the over the air broadcast that they have to start having opposing politicians on and not just Democrats. So, you know, they're used to, you know, doing tongue baths for Democrats or right minded, well, left minded Republicans like Marjorie Taylor Greene. The FCC chairman said no, if you're an over the air broadcast, not cable, you got to have the opposite politicians on. Guess what? They did. They're not having politicians on anymore.
Fred Fleitz
Great.
Rob Carson
Now they can get back to the stupid crap that the show was created for, which is celebrity dish interviews with people pushing movies and books and delightful summer salad recipes. That's their lane. Let's take a break and come back. This is the Rob Carson Show. One thing I would like to see updated Is the word homeless to the word unhoused?
Caller/Guest
How about new.
Whoopi Goldberg
Hakeem Jeffries, what's your response to what Tom Holman revealed here?
Hakeem Jeffries
Well, good morning. Great to be with you. There are three things that have been true since Donald Trump and Republicans came back into power last January. Life is more expensive.
Rob Carson
No, actually it's not. Joe Biden made it expensive by doubling the price of homes and making groceries and stuff. Guy will go up by like 30%.
Hakeem Jeffries
Life is more chaotic.
Rob Carson
No, actually it was much more chaotic when you were burning down America's cities.
Hakeem Jeffries
And life is more extreme.
Rob Carson
No, not at all. Again, burning the cities and all that crap.
Hakeem Jeffries
The last thing that the American people need are for untrained ICE agents to be deployed at airports all across the country, potentially to brutalize or in some instances, kill them. We've already.
Fred Fleitz
Wow.
Rob Carson
What is the. Hold on one second. Let me get on the computer here and look up the daily death toll of death from ICE agents in America's airports. Where is it here? More complicated and it's a zero. Absolutely. No, there were no, there were no murders at America's airports and it's already Wednesday. What about Debbie Dingleberry? Debbie? No, Debbie Dingle. Debbie Dingle. Talking about ICE agents murdering people in airports.
Caller/Guest
Are people going to be more scared? Are they going to threaten people? Are people going to start to see people not even willing to travel because they're intimidated by them? Here's the reality. We could settle this tomorrow and fund tsa, fema, which by the way.
Rob Carson
Oh my God, you're so full of crap it's not even funny. Here is Hakeem Jeffries in 2015 and he could not believe that the possibility of the DHS being defunded in any way, shape or form. Listen to this.
Hakeem Jeffries
I thank the distinguished gentlelady from New York. We are here today to do a single job and that should be to fund fully the Department of Homeland Security. Anything else is an abdication of our responsibility. Anything else is an act of legislative malpractice simply because of the inability of my friends on the other side of the aisle to satisfy the thirst of the extreme right wing, anti immigration base of the party.
Rob Carson
Now your party is so bloody stinking extreme, it's not even funny. I mean, just ridiculous. This is a little montage I put together. Cory Booker was at an airport the other day because he's, he's super dramatic. Stop it. Yes, I know. Oh my God. Anyway, he was telling everybody that, you know, ICE goes in and the mantra is that, you know, Ice storms, schools and storms, churches and storms, hospitals. So we got to keep them out of churches and hospitals and schools and polling places.
Jim Gossett
What?
Rob Carson
Hold on. What? What? What? Yeah. Because illegals go to church and illegals go to the hospital when they're sick, and illegals go to school to pick up their kids, and illegals go to polling places to vote. And so what's happening today in America that should outrage everybody, he's taking the very same agency that has been bursting into our schools, into our churches, into our hospitals. Tom Holman's going to refute this in a second. Into our courts and even into the homes of Americans.
Caller/Guest
I want him to give me one example, just one. When ISIS went into a church to arrest somebody, or we went into a hospital to arrest somebody, or we went into an elementary school to arrest somebody. Just give me one example. You know why he can't. Because there isn't any. I think there's been one case nationwide in the past year where we're in hot pursuit chasing an illegal alien who ran into an education center. You're damn right.
Amazon Music Advertiser
Yeah.
Rob Carson
Yes. Even like a bank robber ran into a school, you chase them, too.
Caller/Guest
So they went in there and rest him near the front door.
Rob Carson
Especially since one of the criminal, like, murderers and stuff that are illegal, that are here.
Caller/Guest
But as far as plan enforcement operations in those places hasn't happened. Matter of fact, the only people that violated the sanctuary of church was. Was Don Lemon in that group that went in there to attack, you know, Trump supporters while they were having religious service.
Rob Carson
Yeah, yeah. So the. The whole argument is bull crap. It's made up. But they shout loud enough and then don't answer the question because the media never follows up. That's just the way they do things. Here is the great Victor Davis HANSON on why Democrats 1 illegals here. Yeah.
Victor Davis Hanson
I mean, they want to destroy or dismantle immigration laws. So everybody knew that if you. If you would follow the Ninth Circuit's decision, then you wouldn't have any immigration law, because people would just be able to enter anytime, anywhere, any place illegally, and they'd say, well, you're already in the United States, therefore you're a refugee. But the bigger picture, I think, is that the Democrats know that the agenda they have does not. Does not warrant 51%.
Rob Carson
Now, do you remember what I told you Democrats? The reason why Democrats have not moved at all on their extremeness after Kamala Harris lost meaning they're still down with boys becoming girls to commute with girls. They're still down with all of the radical bullcrap nonsense that's bat guano crazy is because they expect Democrats to vote Democrat because you do, regardless what they they are for. For 70% of you Democrats don't believe you should be able to count vot election day. You also believe in voter id. You do. What percentage of Democrats on Capitol Hill support either of those? 0.95percent of you say that girls can't become boys and boys can't become girls. They shouldn't compete in girls sports when they become, you know, girls. Whatever. 95% of you say, yeah, that's right. Nobody on Capitol Hill. So they just expect Democrats to vote Democrat. And the way they can win by not representing you is with illegals. I've been saying this how long now?
Victor Davis Hanson
So they either have to water down the balloting laws and they have done that with no voter ID, mail in balloting, 10 days, counting the ballots 10 days later, or abject cheating or bringing a new constituency, and they've done all three. So illegal immigration, I think we should realize, is absolutely integral to the present Democratic Party's viability. Because they're so radical on these 37% issues, and they're on the 30 side, they have no choice but to destroy immigration law and destroy balloting laws as we know it. That's what they're doing.
Rob Carson
Democrats only used to use black people that way. I'm serious. Been saying this for years. What do Democrats do in inner cities? How bad is the inner city? It's dreadful. What? Who took who. Who made the inner city living better for black people? Donald Trump, Memphis? Anybody? D.C. anybody? What have Democrats done the last 65 years? D word for Richard? They just expect people of color to vote for Democrats. And then the day of the election, after promising the sun, the moon and the stars, they get up out of bed, put some money on the dresser and walk out. Well, guess what? They're doing that to everybody in the Democrat voting base. That's what they're doing to all of you now. It's all of you now. Even you little white Karens, wherever the hell you're living. It's all of you now. Your Democrat Party is not your representative. They are a radical cabal of Marxists and communists. You've got to wake up to this. It is so. It just feels so good to be right. I mean, it just feels so good to be right. Here is Eric Schmidt. Why, for instance, here's another. Why does the Democrat Party want ice? To not wear masks.
Eric Schmidt
Yeah, listen, we're not doing anything to kneecap ISIS ability to do their jobs and deport the people who've come here illegally. The only reason the Democrats want to unmask ICE agents is they want facial recognition software to identify these ICE agents and harass their families. So nobody wants to be an ICE agent again. We live through this with the Defund the police movement where you saw a drop in people who want to be police officers. You saw early retirements. We're not doing that again. We're also not going to make it harder to do their jobs through all the hurdles that the Democrats want them to jump through. Because if you understand this fact, you realize, yes, that the central operating idea between the Democrat Party now is that they believe in open borders and they don't believe that anybody that came here illegally should have to go home.
Rob Carson
And they don't represent Democrat voters in any way, shape or form. Unless you are to the extreme, America hating radical leftists, pro Hamas, anti Israel. That's it. That is your Democrat Party on Capitol Hill. It does not represent your grandfather's Democrats or your father's Democrats. They don't represent you. They're using you, taking advantage of you and relying on illegals to deliver victories for them so they can stay in office and continue to loot the treasury and destroy the country. There you go. You might want to mark this on the podcast. Share it with your friends because it's going to become a historical document. Take a break and come back. Fred Flights joins us next. Don't go anywhere. Rob Carson (Intro/Host)
Gave us a present and the present arrived today. It was a very big president worth a tremendous amount of money. And I'm not going to tell you what that president's not playing, Rob.
Rob Carson
That is. That is, by the way, the president. That's not my problem, Ken. Actually, that's on your end. The President of the United States said that he got a present. He got a present from Iran. He said it was a big present, by the way, And I want to kind of figure out what's in that present. I'm not sure if Fred Flights will know, but if there's anybody who could. No, I think it would be Fred Flights because, my gosh, I can't turn on the TV without seeing him anywhere these days. He is the man with a plan, and he's in high demand. Fred Flights, welcome to the Rob Carson Show. How are you today?
Fred Fleitz
Hey, Rob. Good to be here.
Rob Carson
All right. So what do you think the president was. I'm thinking it's probably something to do with oil. What do you. What do you think?
Fred Fleitz
I think it probably involved oil. I don't really know what it involved. But I also say that when we hear the president speaking during this conflict, I think a lot of what he's trying to do is to psych the Iranians out. And whether it's. We're trying to negotiate with you while we're also sending paratroopers and Marines to the region, this is a pretty massive operation. And part of it is trying to keep him on edge.
Rob Carson
Yeah. And certainly doing a good. Yeah, I kind of wonder, and I heard that kind of debated yesterday, what percentage of mind games are going on there. And he does do that. I mean, that's the art of the deal, right? Isn't that really the art of the deal? It's not all just facts and figures and whatnot. It's 3D chess, for lack of a better cliche. And he does that quite well.
Fred Fleitz
It is. And it also reflects something from the first term, and that is his unpredictability really kept our adversaries from trying things. And someone I know, I met one guy who used to work for Putin. He was an economic adviser, and he told me that one reason Putin never invaded Ukraine is because Putin did not know how Trump would respond. So in the first term, he didn't do it.
Rob Carson
Well, they called him unpredictable. You know, they called him unhinged. You know, for. For about a week there, they needed the 25th amendment. Where did that go, by the way, Fred? I haven't seen that trending on Twitter. Twitter lately. It turns Out. He's one of the most deliberative, deliberate, I should say. And the great thing about being a great businessman is you have to succeed. You have to give authority to those who are experts in what they do. And that's what he's doing, certainly with the military, with Pete Hegseth, with his generals. He's giving them what they need. And so that's what I think is a difference. Because with previous administrations, you get a bunch of faculty lounge people who have no life experience trying to make the decisions from a world viewpoint that is their own and not a reality.
Fred Fleitz
That's right. And let's talk about planning and war. We hear these accusations there was no plan and that things have happened that the President wasn't ready for. First of all, there was definitely a plan. General Kaine, the chief of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said, we've not just been planning this since the crackdown against Iranians in early January. The US Military has been planning this for years. Yes, but also, this is a war. War is always full of unexpected developments. Things don't go quite the way you want. That's why wars are hell. That's why you don't want to get into them. But when something happens that we have to respond to, that's not a failure. Our ability to respond is how we judge the success of the operation, not that unexpected things happen.
Rob Carson
I am amazed that the President is never deterred by the media. Today. One of the headlines I heard, I won't get into the network, but their initials are TH and they're saying Americans are really disappointed in the direction of the war after three weeks because of gas prices. I mean, you're out of your freaking mind. We have been doing this for three weeks. We are overwhelming what was one of the premier militaries in the world. We pounded them into powder in what in previous campaigns would have taken years, years to get here. And we did it in three weeks. Fre and Donald Trump never stops and goes, oh, you know, woe is me. Oh, we're not doing bull crap. There's never a blink. Despite all of the opposition, you know,
Fred Fleitz
we've hit 9,000 targets. We need 9,000 targets. This is extraordinary. That that's capable now, that's attacks by aircraft. That's missile attacks. It's dropping bunker buster bombs. Large numbers of Iranian leaders, leaders in the security infrastructure, are dead. Iran can't make nuclear weapons. The possibility of the Iranian people taking back their country is much greater now.
Rob Carson
Yes.
Fred Fleitz
I don't know that they'll pull this off in the near term. But I think we've given them a darn good opportunity.
Rob Carson
I think I'm not going to give up my starry eyed, I guess, dream of peace in the Middle east, the Iranian people taking back their country, Venezuela, Cuba being free. I still believe it's going to happen. I do. Fred. There's a lot of things going on over there, by the way. And you know as well as I do the Iranians are using Starlink and whatnot to get in touch with Israeli intelligence. And I'm seeing these marvelous, marvelous little montages online of IRCG troops being shot and being, and being taken down by not only Israeli intelligence, but also others. And there's a lot of that happening. And so it's got them back on their heels. They're not, they're not the powerhouse. They're not able to do the murder and the censorship and the, and the morality patrols and all that that they used to be able to do.
Fred Fleitz
The besieged militia also, which, which committed horrific atrocities.
Rob Carson
Yes.
Fred Fleitz
Earlier in the year, they're, they're being killed by drones hovering over Tehran and other cities. And as you said, the drones in some cases are being directed by Iranians on the ground. They're calling the Israelis, telling them where besieged are. That forced the besieged to hide under bridges and in tunnels where they're also being attacked because drones could go in tunnels.
Rob Carson
Oh, it's so wonderful. It's like Uber Eats for killing besieged members. It is, isn't it? It's just amazing. I mean, sorry. I mean, these people have run roughshod over the people of, of Iran. You know, you've got Pahlavi and he says he's ready to go in. What could help him assure his security should he move in with the. And it sounds like he's got the popular support of the Iranian people. Would Israeli intelligence assist with that to keep him safe if he decided to move in?
Fred Fleitz
I don't know what the transition plan is for democracy. I don't know what the plan is after the government falls. I'm sure that the Trump administration and the Israeli government has one. I know Pahlavi's life would be at severe risk. Actually, it's at risk right now. You can imagine there are Iranian assassins in the US who desperately want to kill him because they see him as an enormous threat. I think the transition is going to be difficult. I'd like to hear more about how the Trump administration wants to do this. It worries me that when the regime falls, it could be taken over by another Armed group that may also not be good, but I don't know that. But I think there's a lot of pieces of this we don't know.
Rob Carson
But, Fred, you also have never had Donald Trump as the president, so there's that. I mean, I think all of these things that have happened previously, all of these, you know, Democrats now they're saying that, well, you know, like Chuck Schumer, he was asked, is it a good thing that the United States has destroyed Iran's military? And Schumer immediately says, well, we don't know what's going to happen six months down the line. You can't answer the question because they're always looking forward. They're always looking for a way. Their minds are constantly looking at ways to cast doubt and whatnot. And I think we've got a different president and it's a whole different ballgame. I want to take a break. Fred, I know you're busy. Can you stick around for the next segment?
Fred Fleitz
Sure, I have lots of time.
Rob Carson
All right, let's take a break and come back. This is the Rob Carson Show.
Jim Gossett
Look, I think the outcome that we
Rob Carson
should insist upon is collapse of this regime.
Jim Gossett
I don't.
Rob Carson
I don't have a dog in the fight of who the next leader of Iran is. I just want it not to be an Islamist who wants to murder us. Absolutely. 100%. That's what I believe. That's what has to happen. I don't know how we get there, Fred. Flights. But that's what's got to happen. I've said it from the get go. There cannot be a seed of radical Islam left to germinate. What do you think?
Fred Fleitz
I agree. And I also recognize that we may not get there immediately, frankly. I mean, those of us who are studying this war knew we were not going to change the government from the air. That would have to be done from the ground by the Iranian people because we're not going to invade Iran like we invaded Iraq and try to change the government. The Iranian people have to do that. We have to help them do that. And I believe there's already a lot of things are going on right now to help them succeed.
Rob Carson
Well, yeah, once you get past the fear of being murdered for speaking out generally, things start to start to grow a little bit. I haven't heard anything from the Kurds. The Kurds were gonna be a pretty big part of this. And they're well armed. I would assume that's gotta be part of the, you know, the muscle with ushering a new regime in, well, you
Fred Fleitz
know, there are many groups of Kurds, the Kurds we heard about a few weeks ago where Iranian Kurd refugees living in northern Iraq. Now there also are the Iraqi Kurds in northern Iraq. Now, the Iranian Kurds definitely want to come back and take back areas of their country that they left because they had been persecuted by the Iranians. Now, the Iraqi Kurds are, you know, brothers of the Iranian Kurds and they are very well armed. I don't know that they're going to invade Iran, but it's not out of the possibility. I'd like to hear more about that.
Rob Carson
Yeah, well, you know, you had mentioned the Israeli intelligence and the Iranian people going after the IRCG and the. What did you call the besiege?
Fred Fleitz
Militia.
Rob Carson
Besieged militia, that's right. I always see the name and I wonder how to pronounce it. That's not going to stop. That's not going to stop. No matter what kind of deal is met, those are the people who are still going to keep that going. So I can't see them making a comeback after Iran gives up all of the things that it said is going to give up. Did you see the 15 point peace plan offered up? That, that was, I guess, shared. I guess it's coming from the President of the United States, obviously. Anything, anything in there that you might add to it?
Fred Fleitz
No, I think it was a pretty good plan to stop the threat from Iran, to stop its missile program, its nuclear program, to promote stability. Now we're hearing claims that there are no negotiations or we reject this plan. First of all, the Iranians lie constantly.
Rob Carson
Yes.
Fred Fleitz
Second, there are such divisions within whatever's left of the Iranian government. I think there are some feuding factions. I believe Trump's trying to go around the Revolutionary Guards, find Iranians who want to stop their country from being blown up. Iranian leaders, and I think that might be the speaker of the Iranian Parliament. His Twitter account says he's not negotiating. We don't know who runs the Twitter account. I think there are negotiations. There's a process ongoing. Whether we'll get there, whether whoever we negotiate can actually make a deal. We don't know yet.
Rob Carson
Well, one of the things I thought was kind of cool is for all of those who are screeching about how much this is costing, it has still cost less than all the fraud in Minnesota. But Donald Trump said, I know, right? Isn't it funny? They're all concerned about this, but we spent less on it than the fraud in Minnesota and we haven't even touched Scratch the surface on the money we sent to Ukraine, that half of it went to buy yachts and mansions along the Mediterranean. That said, Donald Trump is apparently going to use oil money from Iran to pay for the whole dang thing.
Fred Fleitz
That would be typical Donald Trump.
Rob Carson
Yep.
Fred Fleitz
But look, if I look at this whole conflict, I do have some concerns. I don't want American troops on the ground.
Rob Carson
No.
Fred Fleitz
I don't want us to invade anything. I don't want us in Cargill Island. I don't want us to invade the shores of the Strait of Hormuz. Let's deal with it from the air. Let's pull out and start supporting the Iranian people. I turn on Fox News, all they do is cheer for an invasion of Iran. Frankly, I don't want that. I don't think most of Trump's supporters want that either.
Rob Carson
I don't think we're going to have one. I don't. I mean, listen, you've got now NATO allies, the EU starting to, you know, be down with this. You've got some of our Middle East, Eastern partners, Saudi Arabia, interesting to step up. You've got Al Jazeera cheering on Donald Trump saying it was a good thing to take down Iran. I don't think we're going to need it, but, you know, I mean, I've heard the possibility of a limited number of Marines moving into Carg island, but that's where that's really what I think is all it is all balancing on right now is Carg island and the Straits of Hormuzza, and those are the final sticking points. And it sounds like we're kind of getting a deal on both of those. And Donald Trump saying, you either, you know, open the straits or we're gonna. You're gonna bomb you until you can't turn the lights on for a decade.
Fred Fleitz
I mean, Iran will have no revenue if they continue down the road of not talking to us. Trump will destroy their energy infrastructure. He may blow up Carg Island. Yeah, I want him to do that because it would. It would create an enormous environmental catastrophe with all that oil burning. Remember when Saddam Hussein set fire to Kuwait oil fields in the 1990s? We don't want that to happen. We want to have another way out of this that doesn't make the situation of the average person in that region even worse.
Rob Carson
Well, I think we got him on the ropes, Fred. I do, I do. I'm not, you know, call me optimistic, but I called this a long time ago. I said, if Donald Trump becomes the president, you're going to see freedom and patriotism spread throughout the world. It's happening in Central and South America. To see Venezuela and Cuba, it's happening in Europe, in Germany. Now it looks like it's happening and it's going to happen in the Middle East. I think we're going to see a millennial peace like we never dreamed of. But I'm optimistic, Fred Flights. That's just the way I am.
Fred Fleitz
I hope you're right. And you know, there's another angle here. I think Russia and China are pressing the Iranian leadership to stop the war and they are being pressured by Europe. Europe is scared to death now that they realize that the Iranians could hit London and Paris with change the whole dynamics of this conflict.
Rob Carson
All right, bro. Well, I appreciate you being on Fred. I know how busy you are. I see you on GBN and Fox and Newsmax everywhere. And of course, the Rob Carson Joe. I appreciate you, Fred. America First Policy Institute. You're on Twitter at Fred Flights. Anywhere else people can find your glorious

Fred Fleitz

Victor Davis Hanson
All right.
Rob Carson
Let's take a break and come back. This is the Rob Carson show. All right, so Carg island appears to be the sticking point right now.
Jim Gossett
Just sit right back. Listen to a tale of an oil filled paradox.
Rob Carson (Intro/Host)
Jim.
Jim Gossett
Guys, it is called Carg Island. It's worth a hefty price. It's a mix major asset that Trump has his eyes on.
Rob Carson
It's a big asset.
Jim Gossett
If he wants current island, you know it will be gone. You know it will be gone.
Rob Carson
Let's kick that asset.
Jim Gossett
Soon it will be getting rough. The island will be lost. Since we won't surrender, we pay a hefty cost. We pay a hefty cost. When they seize our oil fields. It will be a blow to command the model, the minister of defense. They all know Donald Trump. They'll never stop when he takes over the card aisle.
Rob Carson
