This is the Rob Carson Show. This is hour number three of the Rob Carson Show. By the grace of God, it is finally Friday. It's going to be a glorious weather wise weekend here in the nation's capital. I'm going to be heading into to see the what's left of the cherry blossoms with some friends who are coming in. I'm very excited about that. And then I'm going to an Orioles game on, on Sunday. I actually prefer to see the Orioles. I haven't seen the Orioles play in a very long time. You know, it used to be safe downtown in Baltimore. We'll see. We'll see. But I'm going to an Orioles game on, on Sunday and taking it all in, just drinking it all in. I love it man. I really enjoy living here and I hope you'll come and join me in the fall. Travel with Rob.net real quick for the streamers. I was Talking about the 80s earlier and how it was really crazy time to be. You know. I was a junior high high school in the 80s. I went through junior high, high school, college and first job all in the 80s. It was a very transformative thing for me. And then I had mentioned that I was, you know, I bought a black leather suit for the homecoming variety show. I have the picture. I'm going to show it to you. Streamers. I'm gonna show you streamers. That is the black leather suit. And yes, I did have a mustache. The only time in my life I ever had any facial hair. That's it right there, man. I took every dime that I had making $3 and 35 cents and that was the minimum wage. I didn't ask for a higher minimum wage. I didn't, you know, have food stamps. I saved every dang dime I had and I bought a black leather suit. There you go. You've seen it. Go to Newsmax, social media if you want to see Rob Carson in a leather suit. I was, you know, I was, I was, you know, poor kid from Iowa. But I, you know, I wanted to be, I wanted to be a rock star. I want to be Johnny Carson. I want to be this. So there you go. Check out the social media if you want to see it. Here's the latest from Newsmax. James Rosen on the fragile peace deal between the USA and Iran.
Christian Toto
Well, let's take you live now to chief Washington correspondent James Rosen with more
James Rosen
on the weekend's negotiations.
Christian Toto
Those are happening in Islamabad, right, James?
Rob Carson
James is awesome.
Christian Toto
That's right. Good morning, Edie. Much remains unresolved, as we have been reporting in this cease fire announced between the US And Israel on the one side and the Iranian regime on the other, not least whether Tehran is making good on its pledge to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, through which in ordinary times one fifth of the world's oil supply transits. In her briefing yesterday, White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt claimed Iranian reports of continued restrictions on that commerce were lies.
James Rosen
We have seen an uptick of traffic in the strait today, and I will reiterate the president's expectation and demand that the Strait of Hormuz is reopened immediately, quickly and safely. That is his expectation. It has been relayed to him privately that that is what's taking place and these reports publicly are false.
Rob Carson
Yeah. I'm going to tell you, if Iran doesn't play well, it's going to, the, the bombing is going to resume. It's just the way it is. And I actually think that it is a good thing because I think it's maybe God playing his hand, saying they have to be taken out, they're not on the side of good. And I think the side of good is on our side, absolutely, 1,000%. It's obvious. Very obvious. There you go. So we'll see. But I doubt this truce is going to last very long. And ultimately what will have to happen is that all of those associated with the previous regime, the terrorist regime that had been in charge of Iran for 47 years, they're going to be wiped out. Going to be wiped out. I mentioned earlier, Todd Lyons, ICE director, yesterday had a group of ang families on this. The, the, the reason why the Democrat Party hates ICE is quite simple and it's one word in their name. It's Immigrations and Customs Enforcement. And the Democrats had a plan. They brought in 20 million illegals over the southern border. They loaded them up with government largesse, and then they gave them Social Security numbers and the ability to vote. They've loaded up Democrat states where people have been fleeing because the policies are so terrible. They've loaded with people who are dependent on the government. Largely 60% of illegals are on some sort of government largess, and we're paying for it. And it's a devious and awful plan. But this is what the Democrat Party has done to law enforcement officials. There's nothing evil about people who work for ice. They are good and decent people. I met one the other day, an ICE agent, and he was in civilian clothes. And I said, what do you do? And he hushed under his breath, I work for ice. And I'm like, why are you doing it? He goes, I don't want to say that out loud. This is what the Democrat Party has done to these agents of law enforcement. Masked men jumping out of unmarked cars, people disappearing. No due process, no oversight, zero accountability happening. All of these. Everything he says is a lie. Everything you hear now is a lie.
Christian Toto
United States of America.
James Rosen
Today, when I see ice, I see
Rob Carson
slave patrols, these ICE agents running around our communities like masked bank robbers. If you repeat the lie enough, it becomes the truth. That's what Hitler's propaganda chief said. If you repeat the lie enough, it becomes the truth.
Christian Toto
Terrorizing women, ICE federal agents pulling up, terrorizing our communities, hopping out of unmarked vans, stealing and, yes, kidnapping people they never did.
James Carville
An authoritarian government in Washington, D.C. is dispatching mad.
Rob Carson
Repeat the lie enough and then call the opposing opinion disinformation. That's Stalin. Stalin, meet Hitler. Hitler, meet Stalin. Give each other a hug. There you go. And let's throw a little bit of Mao, say tongue in there. And you got the United States Democrat Party 100%. And it started a long time ago. This was Kamala Harris when she was before and during her run for president. My values have not changed.
Christian Toto
A hashtag, Abolish ice, referring to the enforcement agency when it comes to immigration. Listen to what your colleague, Senator Kamala Harris said about the idea of abolishing ice.
Rob Carson
The plan was solidified years ago.
Christian Toto
Here's what she told my colleague, Casey
Rob Carson
Hunt, while the border was wide open.
James Rosen
Examine ICE and its role and the
Christian Toto
way that it is being administered.
Rob Carson
While they were letting 20 million people come across the southern border, they were already demonizing immigrations and Customs Enforcement. So those who came illegally could stay forever.
Christian Toto
Market is doing and we need to probably.
Rob Carson
Do you get it?
Christian Toto
Now you think about starting from scratch.
James Rosen
Abolish ice. This is a refrain that we've heard increasingly from your Democratic colleagues, Some even potential 2020 contenders like Bernie Sanders, Senator Kamala Harris, Senator Elizabeth Warren, Senator Kirsten Gillibrand.
Christian Toto
They've all called to abolish.
Rob Carson
That's unbelievable, right? You thought it was just all this year. You thought it was Minneapolis. Oh, no, no, no. They've been doing it forever. This is Todd Lyons, acting ICE Director with Surrounded by angel moms who. Or angel families. People whose loved ones were murdered by illegals. I want to say to the victims families who have experienced these crimes, we
Christian Toto
see you and we hear you. And through the voice office, we are committing to ensuring that no one's left behind.
Rob Carson
And I just want to say on
Christian Toto
a personal note, the families you see
Rob Carson
up here, I've become really close with,
Christian Toto
they're part of the ICE family. But when ICE officers and special agents are demonized, called Nazis, you know, hated this violence against. We do it for these.
Rob Carson
These individuals, these families who are no longer with their loved ones because they
Christian Toto
didn't get the justice they deserved. And that's the main reason why ICE and our law enforcement partners are out there, is so these angel families will finally get justice.
Rob Carson
Yeah, it's ridiculous. This is a woman named Nicole Copper Love talking about one of the murders here in Northern Virginia, where I live. Stephanie Mentor was 41 years old and she was a mother, single mother. And she was gutted at a bus stop by an illegal alien who'd been arrested 40 times, including for rape stabbing. A person broke off a knife in a man's body. And the county attorney, Steve Descano, who is a George Soros agent, essentially supported, is the person who did this. And this is Nicole Kopralov calling him out.
James Rosen
It happened at the local level where a prosecutor's office led by Steve Discano repeatedly failed to secure charges against a known dangerous, monstrous offender. Steve Discano has blood on his hands and he should resign immediately and live the rest of his life in shame.
Rob Carson
100%.
James Rosen
This failure also happened at the state level where leadership under Governor Abigail Spanberger is already two months, just two months into her term.
Rob Carson
He.
James Rosen
She is making cooperation with federal immigration enforcement virtually impossible. Abigail Spamberger has blood on her hands too, and she too should resign immediately and live the rest of her life in shame.
Rob Carson
Yeah, I think. I don't know what the murder rate in Washington, D.C. is but Fairfax county this year, four murders, three committed by illegals. That's, that's unbelievable. It really is. It's just remarkable. Abigail Spamberger, her popularity has dropped precipitously, and I think the people of Virginia are going to revolt against her. They are. Right now There's a referendum April 21. The Democrat Party's trying to eliminate Republican representation by gerrymandering the state. And the Republicans are fighting this. 76% of Virginians don't want this kind of gerrymandering. Matt Towery is a pollster, and here he is talking about her gigantic fall from grace after being governor for only a couple months.
James Carville
I was shocked when I saw that, too. Laur, we talked about this during the election, election season, you and I, on this race numerous times. And we said she's really not a moderate. She's selling herself as a moderate. She's an ultra liberal and that's what she's turned out to be. It's what the Democrats now do. They did it in Georgia with Jon Ossoff. Ossoff is going against Trump at every
Rob Carson
Jon Ossoff and his dad's name, Jack Ossoff. It's Jack Ossoff. That's his name. Jack Ossoff turned they sold him as a moderate.
James Carville
He ended up being a this is their new playbook that they use.
Christian Toto
And now they're finding out people who
James Carville
voted for just what they got.
Rob Carson
I think his dad really is named Jack Ossoff. Jack Ossoff is what it is. So anyway, there you go. On the way, James Carville cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs. And George Conway cries like a little baby. That's coming up on the Rob Carson Show. Don't go anywhere. This fall, you're invited to experience Washington, D.C. in a truly unforgettable way with me, Rob Carson, and other Newsmax listeners. Donald Trump's election. No, no, one, one, one.
Christian Toto
It's the gift that keeps on giving.
Jim Gossett
It's the Rob Carson Show.
Rob Carson
It is the Rob Carson show, and it's Friday. Yes. I can't wait to get out and just take it all in this weekend. I really can't. And I'll be sharing some little bits of it on social media. I do, I do keep a very. A busy social media presence. If you want to follow me at Rob Carson or Rob Carson Show. I'm on Facebook and Instagram and LinkedIn. Oddly enough, I get a lot of traction. I truth social. I've got nearly 2 million followers. Tick tock, getter. I'm on. I'm everywhere. I mean, Google my name. I'll show up on your toaster, for crying out. It's great. It's just crazy. And, you know, and I do more than just politics. I do other things, too, sometimes. I'm gonna put up some, you know, some food porn. I smoked the salmon last night in my indoor smoker. I'm telling you, best thing ever. The best invention ever. All right. It's become my number one kitchen appliance. Rice cooker was before an air fryer. Air fryer. Do you not have an air fryer? I'm going to tell you a little story here real quick. I went on a date a couple weeks ago, and this delightful woman. Delightful woman had this. She's in politics. Delightful woman. And we're out and we go on this date, we go to Annapolis and we're hanging out and all this, and we met some cool people and all that. And she confided to me that she doesn't have an air fryer. She was convinced that an air fryer was not a good thing because you can't cook healthy or whatever. I said, girl, you're crazy. You've got to have an air fryer. If anything, just for reheating pizza. It's the best way to reheat pizza ever in the history of mankind. It's also the best way to do vegetables like butternut squash tossed in olive oil, salt, pepper in the air fryer. 20 minutes, you know, 425. Caramelized, beautiful baby potatoes. Brussels sprouts. Brussels sprouts. 425. 20 minutes, baby new potatoes. 30 minutes. 425. The crispiest french fries you'll Ever have in your life. So we have our little date. It was wonderful. We've. We've talked before then. I knew her before, and, and, and I had Amazon deliver an air fryer to her. Now, ladies, I know that if a man delivers you a major appliance after the first date, generally you're going to go, okay, I'm out of here. She called, laughing, like, oh, my God, I can't believe you got me an air fryer. And I got her an air fryer. She's got a daughter. And her daughter was like, oh, my God, you finally. Air fryer. And I hope she didn't tell him that I gave it to it, because, you know, that might. Oh, he sent you that. Oh, man. But it is, it's fantastic. Air fryer, indoor smoker, rice cooker, what else? I mean, I just, I love to cook. So there you go. Panini press. I left it in the, in the old house with the ex wife. But it is wonderful. You can press a panini. You can press a shoe and a panini press. And you'll need it. It's fantastic. George. George Conway. Is he still married to Kellyanne Conway? Because he is a freak of nature. He's a grotesque individual. And he was really. He went online and what a way to waste your money is giving a lot of it to Joe Biden. I mean, honestly, here he is crying like a little baby because he gave away his children's inheritance to Joe Biden.
James Carville
I was asked by a friend of mine who's a. Who raises money for Democrats to speak at a big Democratic fundraiser for what was then the Biden Victory Fund. And I remember I was. I was actually driving out to my friend John Gardner's house out in Maryland.
Christian Toto
Maryland.
James Carville
And I was thinking about, well, how much money should I give to the Biden campaign for this thing where I'm going to be the headline spokesperson and asking other people to give, you know, and I thought I'd give, you know, a lot of money, but a reasonable amount of money. And then I started thinking about it, and it's like, you know, I mean, this is supposed to. It's. It's money that my kids would otherwise
Rob Carson
inherit, and it's this, or just flush it down the toilet or put it through a paper shredder.
James Carville
And I started thinking about that. So what. What am I going to give? And then I just thought about it, well, what do I want my kids to inherit?
Rob Carson
Yeah, we need an old guy with dementia who was purchased by the Chinese for $35 million. Through a series of 27 LLCs to nine family members.
James Carville
And I. I literally was in tears. I pull over to the side of the road and I. I was in tears thinking about this. It's like, I want my kids. It makes me miss the eye even today.
Rob Carson
You are such a. Just a complete tool and not even a good tool. He is a. He is an IKEA Allen wrench. He is. He is one of those little crescent wrenches. He's a worthless tool. He's that IKEA wrench they give you to assemble the thing, the hutch, and you'll never. Or the sideboard, and you'll never use it again. It'll be in a drawer and you'll be like, what the hell was that from? Oh, my God. That was from that piece of crap. Oh, IKEA furniture that I bought and I put together and I. Every curse word in the world. That's. That is George Conway. Here's what he sent money to right here. This guy right here. Making sure that we're able to make every single solitary person eligible for. What I've been able to do with the. With the COVID Excuse me, with. Boy, that was money well spent. That was just. Man, oh, man, oh, man. That was money well spent. Phenomenal. Let's see what else I got. I want to play my own crazy cat lady here. James Carville. James Carville. He is convinced that Donald Trump will not be the president this time next year. And now he's talking about the midterms. And he thinks that the Democrats going to win midterms, even though they have no platform, they're negative, and they're completely frigging insane.
Christian Toto
You're going to get killed. People are going to be on to you. And when Democrats get back in office in January, they're going right after the corruption, and we're going to do no
Rob Carson
corruption, not compared to Joe Biden.
Christian Toto
We're going to find out all the money, that it's going the wrong way.
Rob Carson
You mean the trillions of dollars in fraud in Democrat states, like fake. Fake hospices.
Christian Toto
And we're going to have a legal proceeding, and we're going to have what you call a callback. We're going to get to go out, get your money, give it back to the people of the United.
Rob Carson
Yeah, you know, go eat some filet gumbo and have the nurse, you know, wipe your chin. This is Jim Gossett as James Cardinal. He's nuts.
Jim Gossett
We Democrats are cracking up. We're about to lose our minds. Cause we know Kamala, she is toast Hitler way of calling Trump. We're pulling out all the strings but looks like none of it is gonna work.
Rob Carson
No, because they have no plan for it.
Jim Gossett
They're coming to take us away.
Rob Carson
Ha ha.
Jim Gossett
They're coming to take us away. Ho ho hehe ha. To the funny farm where life is beautiful all the time and we'll pretend Kamala won as those nice men and that clean white coats are coming to take us away. You thought it was a joke and so you laughed. You laughed when I said I lost it Trump. That would surely make me flip my lid.
Rob Carson
Hell you did.
Jim Gossett
Now they're coming to take me away. Haha. They're coming to take me away. Ho ho ho ho. To the happy home with padded walls and I'll get shot therapy in a room with Morning Joe and they're coming to take me away With Liz Chaney and Chris Christie, Mike Pence and the women from review they're coming to take.
Rob Carson
Yeah, you see the the 2024 election was a return to common sense from nonsense. This election as mentioned by by Sarah Huckabee Sanders. She said it on TV about a month ago. She said this is about sanity versus insanity. Those who would one month call Elon Musk a Nazi, then flip their signs over, promote Hamas over Israel, say that what we did in Iran was was not good, support the Iranians, support run drug boat captains, support Maduro. You know, believe that boys can become girls and girls can become boys. So this is about sane versus insane. 2026 midterms is sane versus insane. The insanity certainly is on the left. Okay, on the way, the one and only Christian, Toto Hollywood and Toto the boss just, I mean, destroying his career like Tucker Carlson on the other side of the break. Don't go anywhere. Hey guys, it's Carson. I just got a ghost bed. Yeah, pay attention here because I've been sleeping on a foam mattress since I moved to the Washington D.C. area, which is like sleeping on the sponge in your sink. Ghostbed doesn't build mattresses like furniture. They build engineered sleep systems. Their beds are serious health equipment beds designed for relief and recovery, not looks, not fluff. Your body should be healing while you sl not fighting for comfort. I have been sleeping past seven in the morning on my ghost bed. It's unbelievable. If you wake up stiff, you toss and turn. If you sleep hot, even reaching for a pain reliever before bed, hoping tonight will be different. That's not aging, it's your mattress talking. Another great thing I love about Ghostbed. You get 101 nights to try it at home. If you don't like the difference, you can send it back risk free. Ghostbed is offering my audience their lowest prices of the season plus an extra 10% off. Go to Ghostbed.com Carson use promo code Carson. That's Ghostbed.com Carson promo code Carson. You are going to love your new Ghostbed. This is Bruce Springsteen in concert.
Jim Gossett
The richest men in their marriage
Rob Carson
have abandoned the world's poorest children to death and disease through dismantling of usa. Can you play Born in the usa? We're undermining NATO and the world order that kept us safe and that global peace for 80 years. This is happening. Born to Run, Santa Claus and our allies. Who in the hell would pay to see Bruce Springsteen spew nonsense instead of singing Christian Toto from Hollywood? And Toto, how are you on this glorious Friday? What do you think of that?
Christian Toto
It's hard to believe that A, people want to see it and B, people are paying through the nose. You know, there was a story a couple years ago about his sky high prices. And I said, a boss man, you're the blue collar bard. I mean, you're the guy who's talking about the downtrodden. Don't you care about these high ticket prices? And he basically said, yeah, I'm worth it. We work hard.
Rob Carson
I don't know. You know, I never would have gone to see Bruce Springsteen in a concert. I've never been a great fan of his. I'm not like a lot of people are, you know, you're a Springsteen fan. You'll see every show. I got a friend who lives in St. Louis, his name's Mark Reardon, who does a radio show there. And one time he went to the movies, he went to see this movie called the River. And he's sitting there and he looks in front of him and he's in Hollywood and there's Bruce Springsteen and Patty Cialpa. And he tapped Bruce on the shoulder and said, Mr. Springsteen, doesn't mean to bother you. I am just a big fan. And Bruce let him come up and sit next to him and they watched a movie together. Okay, that was what he used to be. He's not that man anymore. He's not that man.
Christian Toto
I would doubt he'd had the reaction as well. Listen, fame corrupts and ego corrupts as well. Listen, I could give Springsteen his due if he was speaking out against Biden and his cognitive decline, if he spoke about open borders, if he spoke about people like Lake and Riley, who've been murdered by illegal immigrants who are let into the country. If he had an ounce of bipartisan outrage, all right, I'd cut him some slack. He doesn't. I mean, he's just, he's like an Ms. Now host who's just.
Rob Carson
I don't want to hear. I don't want to hear any politics, Kristen. I don't care. I don't want to hear Republican politics either. Play fricking Born to Run, Playborn in the usa, Play whatever, but shut the hell up and play. Just shut up. Honestly, it's ridiculous.
Christian Toto
It's ridiculous. And also, we know exactly what he's gonna say. You know, part of the fun of a concert is, you know, Bono might go off on a riff where he might merge two or three great U2 songs together. That's part of fun and excitement. What's he gonna do live that I don't hear on the record? How is he gonna interpret the songs? What's he gonna say? That's the experience. Not Here comes another speech and if you've read it on Variety or any other website, you know what he's gonna say. There's no surprise. There's nothing interesting about it.
Rob Carson
I, I just, I find it tedious, to be quite honest. I just don't even care. I don't even care. I mean, I don't want to hear politics in a concert. I don't care if it's Republican or otherwise. Shut up and play the damn songs. That's why I paid the friggin outrageous ticket prices to see the stupid show. And by the way, ticket prices are just stupid. I don't. I was going to go see Earth, Wind and Fire. They were playing at a casino across the river from where I live. The balcony seats were $450. I said no. First of all, their Earth, Wind and Fire not exactly on the upward trend of their career, and a lot of the members are already dead. So really, I mean. No, it's ridiculous. It's utterly ridiculous. Too expensive to go see them live, whatever.
Christian Toto
It is crazy. But I mean, it must be capitalism at work because people are seeing it if the price is where. If the seats were empty, they would have to, you know, reconfigure this, the whole pricing scheme, I guess. But it is crazy. I mean, I. The only person I pay that kind of crazy fee. Would they Paul McCartney, because I've never seen him live. Yeah, he's getting up there and I hate to say that, but he's, he's, he's Paul McCartney. So I almost pay anything. But everyone else. I'm sorry.
Rob Carson
So what else is on your radar? You had something you were mentioning about Apple tv. What's going on with that?
Christian Toto
Yeah, so you know, they premiere new movies. I mean, that's the way the streaming world works these days. You get pretty big stars. And the new movie to have out this weekend is called Outcome, and it's directed by Jonah Hill. Actor, comic actor. It's about a super duper movie star, like a Tom Cruise level guy who is in trouble because there's some sort of video floating out there where he's behaving badly and he doesn't want to get canceled and he doesn't know what he did or what the content of the video is. So Keanu Reeves plays the main character. Now, Keanu Reeves is beloved. You know, it's kind of odd casting that they're playing. He's playing a big movie star who's kind of a jerk. But more importantly, it's a swing and a miss. But at least they're trying. It really does attack Cancel Culture because here's the star who's trying to appease all these different specialty groups, and he's got a black advisor and an Asian advisor and. And a female advisor looking at me too issues. So it's the rare time where Hollywood's looking at Cancel Culture, this whole woke nonsense and saying, hey, we can make fun of it now. The process is not funny.
Rob Carson
It's just not that good. Now, you want to know a movie that is absolutely freaking phenomenal, where an actor not only plays an actor, but plays himself. Plays himself. Did you ever see the Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent with Nicolas Cage?
Christian Toto
Yeah, it's so good.
Rob Carson
Oh, my God, it's so good. It is a phenomenal movie. It is hilarious. It's got Pedro Pascal before he started wearing, you know, clothes that look like you hit a bird on a motorcycle. You know, the Oscars is what I'm talking about. That outfit. It is a brilliant, funny, funny movie. There's a scene where they get high and they're driving in the car and it is. It's one of the. It's just fantastic. And Nicholas Cage plays himself, makes fun of himself. It's 2022. You got to see that movie if you haven't seen it. Phenomenal.
Christian Toto
Yeah, it's good stuff. And I love the fact that Nicholas Cage had poke fun at his image, how he could be over the top and crazy and so bizarre. Listen, when he made Raising Arizona, I was. Oh, he. He could hijack a bus. Full of nuns and, and children. I would forgive him. I love that movie so much.
Rob Carson
Oh, brother. That, that movie, that movie was so quotable for Generation X when that movie came out. Raising Arizona, if you guys movie is Nick Cage, about 1989ish. Right. Holly Hunter. And it is, it is absolutely. It is a brilliant comedy. John Goodman is in that movie. I Need Be a Baby. Hi. You know, phenomenal, phenomenal movie. One movie that I will not see, Christian, is the new Faces of Death. I remember when this came out. I never watched any of them. I thought it was just sick. So tell me about this movie.
Christian Toto
Yeah, real quickly. The original film allegedly was almost like a snuff film. That's the way it was.
Rob Carson
Yeah.
Christian Toto
Kind of designed or you have this documentary approach to real life situations.
Rob Carson
How people kill themselves.
Christian Toto
Yeah. But it turns out most of it was staged. I think there might have been some stock footage of war with the actual death, but it was. Oh, it was staged. But it was, you know, the late 1970s was urban legend. So now they're rebooting it. But the new movie is like a traditional horror movie, but it looks at that movie as inspiration because one of the guys who's doing bad things in the film loves that particular series of films, the Face.
Rob Carson
Oh, so it's not like the Faces of Death franchise, It's a movie about it.
Christian Toto
Yeah, yeah. But I have to say, it's not bad. It's a more traditional approach to a story. But also it looks at us and how we watch a lot of nasty things on our phones and we just kind of shrug. So I think it has a nice commentary in that front.
Rob Carson
You know, my latest jag watching on, on social media is when they, they go to the Humane Society and they let the dogs out and the dogs choose their new owners. And I'm. I cry like a baby. I know I'm a total wuss. I do. I say by myself in my apartment all the life. I leave live. It's just spectacular. Chris, Jonah, can you hold on? I want to cover Stephen Colbert's replacement and also Ketamine queen responsible for supplying Matthew Perry with his drugs. Sentenced to prison. That's coming up on the other side of the break. This is the Rob Carson show More with Christian Toto. Hollywoodintoto.com also on YouTube at Hollywood in total in one moment. Did your parents ever give you money for good grades? They ever give you like $5 for every a or whatever? Yeah, my parents tried that a couple times, but never paid off. They really it's like, we'll give you a dollar for an A. And then report comes, is like, well, you know. No, no. Anyway, you can earn by learning with Birch Gold. Birch Gold just announced their Learn and Earn precious metals event. They're not forcing you. They're not going to try to pressure you into buying gold or whatever. They're just going to reward you for learning about it. I think it's pretty cool. The online event features rewards for learning the basics of investing in precious metals. Sign up. Get free silver on your next purchase. That's kind of cool. Get even larger incentives as you go. The more you learn, the more you earn. But you should act now because it's going to end well in 20 days. Holy heck. April 30th. It's already one way, 1/3 through the month. For crying out loud. Text my name, Rob, to the number 989-898 to join Birch Gold's Learn and Earn precious Metals event by April 30th. Text Rob to 989-898 today. I remember when, when we found out that Matthew Perry had died, we were all shocked that it didn't happen a decade earlier, to be quite honest. Kristen Toto, the Academy queen Jasveen Sanga was born to a wealthy British Sikh family and reinvented herself in California as a drug dealer who infiltrated Hollywood's upper echelons. And she's going to jail for a while. 15 years in prison. Christian.
Christian Toto
Yeah, I mean, I think these things have to happen more frequently, honestly. I think there are people who are really misbehaving and abusing their rights with medical interactions, and people are dying. I mean, listen, drug abuse is terrible. Matthew Perry was really a troubled soul. He had a lot of demons. He was a sad person, you know, underneath the smiles and all the joy he gave us. But he should still be here. And it's very tragic. And, yeah, some people have to pay the consequences. And it sounds like, I mean, there's a lot of evidence against her. She was trying to hide information. She was dealing and wheeling and dealing with it sounds like the right call. It's tragic in every front and it's sad that he's gone, but maybe others will still stick around.
Rob Carson
If you're a drug dealer and somebody dies with your product, you need to go to jail. There you go. Boom. Ta da. You know, and fentanyl is much, much, much, much, much worse. I mean, unbelievably dangerous substance where police officers literally have. Have gone into seizures just touching it, touching it. A grain of sand can kill you. I mean it is, it's quite frightening actually. I'm glad we're glad we're bombing the snot out of drug boats and ending a lot of the stuff coming into the country.
Jim Gossett
Yeah.
Christian Toto
You know, I think that one of the things that's good in a way, in a weird way is that when a celebrity dies and we hear about it, we learn about it and it gets more attention. If it's just your neighbor, we don't hear about this. And maybe the people get away with it. But because he's so famous and because he was beloved for so many reasons, you know, we're focusing on it. And now justice will be served.
Rob Carson
Absolutely. CBS reveals Stephen Colbert's replacement months after the show cancellation. Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen 11:30 starting on May 22, the day after the late show comes to an end. An hour later, Allen's comedy game show funny you should ask will air each weekday night, according to the Hollywood Reporter. And they're staying away from politics, thank God.
Christian Toto
Yeah, comedy comes back to late night. Well, it just might work. So I mean, you know, if you, if it wasn't good enough news that Colbert was going to be hitting the exits, it's, it's better news that there's going to be comedy there. Now this is an existing show, it's been around a while. Byron Allen is a fascinating figure. I grew up watching him on real people and old.
Rob Carson
Yes.
Christian Toto
Back in the day. Yes, he's a very successful entrepreneur. He's got lots of fingers in different entertainment pots and he's got this, this vehicle that and if it complicated way how it's going to be on the air, some sort of leasing thing where, so it's not a traditional broadcast deal. But anyway, the bottom line is that when you tune in to CBS you're going to get stand up comedians telling jokes and Colbert, what a change.
Rob Carson
I, you know, listen, late night appointment television is certainly like, like you know, Johnny Carson, Jay Leno, David Letterman, all of that. The format is fine. It's just the delivery is going to be a whole lot different. You know, it's still working for Gutfeld brilliantly. But I think the format is, I think the format is good. It's just people aren't going to sit down at 10:30, 11:00 clock, 11:30, whatever, and watch it like SNL. Very few people watch SNL. They wait for the clips on Monday.
Christian Toto
You know, I agree. I think there's probably ways you could tweak that format and maybe give it a Boost. But I don't think anyone's really tried anything new or novel or interesting. I just really hearing an interview with Arsenio hall, he talked about how he went without a desk for a while and how that really kind of opened up the show. And that little change made it more informal, made it livelier, made it more personal. And, you know, why can't we do little things like that and try it out and see how it works?
Rob Carson
I like James Corden when he did the singing in cars, the karaoke in cars. I thought that was freaking brilliant.
Christian Toto
Yes, yes. Something simple and elegant in a way.
Rob Carson
And Rob Carson's One in the World, which, Christian, you need to see if you haven't seen it, where I literally take video clips and I write a script around them and I stop and start them by myself and improv my reaction to them. That's what I do with my show. It is. It's pretty funny. And the reason why I run my own videos, because it's very hard to keep up with the hamster on cocaine between my ears. So there's that.
Christian Toto
Colbert should have tapped you years ago. He might be.
Rob Carson
Yeah, well, there may be the opportunity for Rob Carson in late night. I, you know, it might just happen. We'll leave it at that. Chris Toto. Thank you, my friend. Where can people find your glorious podcast and online Presence?
Christian Toto

Christian Toto
A few things that'll never make sense to me. How anyone can hate a Democrat, how anyone can hate a liberal, and how
Rob Carson
any woman can be a Republican. Yeah. Like, how can you hate liberals? Like, that literally makes no sense to me whatsoever. If it wasn't for liberals, everyone who is not a straight white man. Yeah.
Christian Toto
Would Not.
Rob Carson
You just answered the question why everybody hates liberals, by the way. Have any rights that we still have? No, actually we, we were the ones who freed the slaves and, and gave women the right to vote. Democrats fought it tooth and today in this country.
Christian Toto
Yeah, if it wasn't for liberals.
Rob Carson
Yes, go ahead.
Christian Toto
Women wouldn't have the right.
Rob Carson
We still have. No, no, that's absolutely incorrect.
Christian Toto
In this country today, even so much as to have our own bank account.
Rob Carson
Buy a house, buy a car. Wow, that's just ridiculous. Let me give you another reason why. Why people really dislike liberals. Just a, just a little refresher. Get out. Yeah, those are, those are liberals in, in Minneapolis. And you might as well just copy and paste it for every city in America. Crazy cat lady fave song on the Rob Carson show. "...Call the opposing opinion disinformation. That’s Stalin." ([06:40])

“Who in the hell would pay to see Bruce Springsteen spew nonsense instead of singing?” ([22:50])

Rob:
“I was going to go see Earth, Wind and Fire ... The balcony seats were $450. I said no.” ([25:44])
Christian admits the only star he'd pay that much for is Paul McCartney, but otherwise “it’s crazy.” ([26:23])
“It really does attack Cancel Culture ... It’s the rare time where Hollywood’s looking at Cancel Culture, this whole woke nonsense and saying, hey, we can make fun of it now.” ([27:15])

“People are dying... he should still be here. And it’s very tragic. ... Some people have to pay the consequences.” ([32:46])

“It’s very hard to keep up with the hamster on cocaine between my ears.” ([36:52])
Rob and Christian dissect a viral rant by a self-described liberal “cat lady” unable to comprehend how anyone could dislike liberals or be a female Republican. ([38:02])

(Rob Carson, [06:06])
On political doublespeak:

Rob Carson’s style is irreverent, quick-witted, and unfiltered. The show blends cutting political commentary with jokes, parodies, and pop-culture asides. There’s no shortage of hyperbole, sarcasm, and culture-war digs, but the banter with Christian Toto adds a lively and at times genuinely insightful counterpoint to the show’s comic energy.
This episode is a rapid-fire ride through culture, politics, and entertainment, served up with laughter and satire. Rob and Christian dig into concert culture gripes, the realities and rhetoric of cancel culture, and undercurrents in media and politics, always with a comedic edge. For listeners, it’s equal parts political roast and pop-culture circus, never straying far from Carson’s “don’t catch the stupid” mantra.
