you are about to hear the most interesting, informative, thought provoking and funny show in America on air and on the world Wide web. This is the Rob Carson Show. This is our number three of the Rob Carson Show. Hello. Welcome to it. We are not streaming today. We will be back tomorrow. Streaming. Okay. I just wanted to mention that to you. Just want to mention it to you because I know that my streamers are missing me a lot. I'm missing you guys too. We reach a gigantic audience streaming. Also a gigantic audience on radio stations around the country. And we are honored to be a part of all of those glorious affiliates. It is a big deal. I never forget every single day that I'm here and able to do this for a living. I am blessed beyond belief, I like to say. You know, Rush had the EIB network. My network is the BBB network. It's blessed beyond belief. I really some days can't believe it. And I hope to never let you down. Hope to never let you. I'm not going to let you down. Are you kidding me? I'm not going to let you down. Come on, Ron. What the hell you think? Not going to let you down. Not going to let you down. NBC poll finds that America trusts Republicans more on the Issue of immigration by 12 points. That's it. Crime by 22 points. Yeah, you know why? Because the murder rate's the lowest it's been in 126 years. I mean, honestly, Democrat Party, you're so just broken. Broken border security by 27 points. Tight on the economy. You know why? Because the media is constantly saying that not. Not delivering the good news of. Of Donald Trump's administration and the economy and the good things that are happening. Have you got your tax refund yet? I. I owe some money. I owe some money. The divorce. I got behind a little bit there, by the way. You know, I'm using. Yeah, it is an excuse because it did. It really put me behind. But anyway, that said. But have you gotten your return yet? What about you guys? You know, Social Security, you like them not paying income tax on it? How about that? Is that pretty cool? Overtime tips. How about tips? How about tips, huh? How about you Uber drivers? I talk to Uber drivers all the time. Every time I'm in an Uber. So what do you think about this? No, no, no. Tax on tips. Oh, my God, this is so glorious. I know, it's amazing. So 50, 50 on the economy. That's what they were hanging their hat on, going to the midterms? The economy. Affordability. They didn't give a flying rip about affordability when Joe Biden was the president. Didn't give a damn about inflation during Joe Biden's presidency. I lived every day of it, living in Kansas City, selling cars, just going through hell, watching people come out of retirement to work a second job, work themselves to death. 76, 78 years old, all of a sudden. Where's Maxine? At the cash register? She died. She died. Where's Elton greeting people at the Sam's Club? He died. He was 82. Had to work. Worked himself to death. You could fill a grocery cart with $250 at Walmart. Then you could just fill the bottom of the cart for $250. I remember watching it. I remember going from $600 a month for a family of four to twelve hundred dollars a month for a family four. It was. It was ridiculous. It was ridiculous, and nobody cared. Nobody cared when it cost you, you know, $94 to fill my. My little Lexus RX350 2009 with 170,000 miles on it. $94 to fill the damn tank. Then Donald Trump became the president. My son has that car now. He filled it for 42, 44, $45. You know, unbelievable. He lives in Kansas City and the price of gas, about $2 a gallon there. But there you go, that was what they're hanging their hats. John Solomon was on talking to Steve Bannon. The, the Biden administration not only went after Donald Trump, members of his inner circle, Republican politicians, surveilling them, going on fishing expeditions, looking for anything, surveilling their phones, etc. But it was much worse than that. Hang on, you're tell that they've, they found Cash in the team and I assume you're telling me they found a fourth targeting of President Trump by the deep state. Yeah, and it's a very serious one because it seems to involve speech delimiters. In other words, if you said something or you spoke a certain way about a certain issue, you potentially redeemed a national security threat to the United States and you were put under an assessment in potentially criminal investigation. So I learned of this operation because I, I was targeted in 2022. I had to cooperate with the Justice Department. When the Justice Department and I talked, they realized that their entire theory of the case was ludicrous. But as a result of that, I've been on a two and a half, three year mission to get these documents, to get the truth out about what happened. Recently. FBI agents working for Cash Patel found this operation, found the skiff that it was hiding, hidden, found the code word name for it, found the prohibited access files. So one of the things that Chris Wray's people did is they would start these political investigations targeting Trump or even someone else, they would keep it off the books. Most people could not see it in the FBI sentinel system. This one was one of those well hidden as a result of some senior leadership that work around Cash Patel. You know, there were people that were in this era that knew what was going on in some cases, maybe even been required to work on certain things. They knew what was going on and they've been guiding Cash Patel to these records and helping him find these records in the, the labyrinth of secrecy that Chris Wray's FBI created. So these senior executives are really helping uncover some really jaw dropping stuff. And I think in the next couple of days people will see that as well. Well, I hope that some of these B words go to jail. I will never forget the censorship of 2018-2020 to when Elon Musk bought Twitter, he saved free speech. I can't even imagine where we'd be had Elon Musk not bought Twitter. It would have been unbearable. It would have been unbearable to be a conservative, you know, to this Day. I still can't monetize YouTube. I still can't monetize Facebook. They took my. My main show page off of Facebook the day after the election in 2020. They took it away. All my. All my listeners gone. Brandon Straka, the walk away movement. Half a million stories, mostly black people leaving the Democrat Party. Facebook took it, took it, took it. And if you said anything, there were words that would immediately you'd be shadow banned or taken down or warned or lose your profile. Maybe it's COVID 19, you know, nonsense, or, you know, the vaccine doesn't work like supposed to, or, you know, you didn't need to close down the schools or Hunter Biden's laptop. All those things. They were monitoring our speech like the Soviet Union monitored mail coming in from the outer world into East Berlin. I swear to God, it is just sickening, sickening what they did to us. Ridiculous. I want to do this. How about. How about we do this? Let's do this is something we haven't done in a while. I came up with the expression to catch the stupid when we were being censored and all that because while we had the. The. The COVID virus, they said there's a deadliest virus ever, you know, and all of this. And they said that if you wear a paper mask, it'll save your life. And I said, a paper mask will provide as much protection from the world's deadliest virus as wearing a cowboy hat to go scuba diving. That's what I said. I said it six years ago. I said it six years. More than six years ago I said that. And I came up with the expression that if you believe that a paper mask or you believe standing 6ft versus 5ft from somebody's gonna save your life, you have caught the stupid. You have caught the stupid. And so without any further ado, I'm gonna do a don't catch the stupid update. Stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid.
Sarah Bedford
People, people, people, just plain stupid.
Rob Carson
Stupid is stupid. Does Ms. Blue who got stupid? Minnesota State Representative Krista Knudson is said that the state of Minnesota legislature is debating the benefits. Are you ready? Of shoplifting.
Sarah Bedford
Hey. Minnesota State Representative Krista Knudsen. So today in the labor committee, Representative Dave Pinto requested a study for the benefits of shoplifting.
Rob Carson
Wow.
Sarah Bedford
There are no benefits to shoplifting for the people that are being shot.
Rob Carson
The owners of the shop. Yeah.
Sarah Bedford
Uplifted from.
Rob Carson
I have no idea what else to say. Democrats allowed people to steal $1,000 without a felony in cities like, you know, New York and La because somehow the people doing the robbing were oppressed. It was such crap.
Sarah Bedford
I'm shocked, actually.
Rob Carson
I don't even know what to say. I know who. I think we should all go to Dave Pinto's house and go in and just stuff our pockets with this stuff. I don't know what to say. No.
Sarah Bedford
Who benefits? No, Nobody from shoplifting.
Rob Carson
Nobody does the shoplifting. Criminals.
Sarah Bedford
Once again, the criminals benefit from shoplifting. Please take a look at the comments to see for yourself.
Rob Carson
There you go. There you go. Her name is Krista Knutson. She is a lawmaker from Minnesota and she has not caught the Stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid.
Sarah Bedford
People, people, people, just plain stupid.
Rob Carson
Stupid is stupid. Does Ms. Blue, who got stupid in a moment. Stupid to have a good turn. I'm going to do a crazy cat lady update. Crazy, crazy liberal cat lady update. But today's update features many liberal crazy cat ladies. That's coming up on the other side of the break. And this is the Rob Carson show. Speak to me, Led Zeppelin and you. So the left has been throwing a temper tantrum for a decade and it is a childish temper tantrum. It is. And if you don't believe me, there's a group of liberal women going to a party, a park in, in New York City over the weekend and they just got together to scream. Okay, this to release. To scream. Now this, this is a temper tantrum. This is what children do. This is what toddlers do. These are adult women. And this is our white liberal crazy cat lady update.
Sarah Bedford
And now I invite you to scream.
Rob Carson
Wow, how utterly, utterly stupid. Childishly and, and, and, and ridiculous. You know, you know what these ladies need? They need a husband. That's what I think. They think they need a, they need a good, strong man in their life. Yeah, that's what they need. They need a man to come in and be all manly and, and just take charge. Just come in there and, and, you know, take care of that little lady and, and you know, give her a comfy little home and, you know, she can get home and, you know, have, have a drink ready for him when, when, when he gets home and massage his feet. Oh, look what I've done. Look what I've done. I caused her to go off. Oh, yeah. Just a strong pair of arms to hold you at night, you know, after you make a nice meal. Yeah, look what I did. I actually caused them to cry, to scream a little bit more there. This is Jeff gossip crazy cat lady update theme on the Rob Carson show. Well, they have a lot of cats and they're all Democrats. We call them Karen. They have a whiny voice. They are all pro choice and mostly Barron. It's okay to fish.
Sarah Bedford
You are allowed to be friends.
Rob Carson
Tech Atlantis. Whoa, whoa, whoa. They're cat ladies talking about some miserable ladies who have clearly lost their minds. These Karens don't like ice. They often pay a price. Mistakes they're making. Oh, my goodness. Karenism is their curse to go to jail or worse for their love Breaking their cat ladies, you don't have a child. They're cat ladies talking about some miserable ladies who are out of their mind. They just need a good man. They just need a good man to cook and clean for us. You get it, okay? You get it, right? Okay. By the way, I did all of the cooking in my marriage for many, many years. A good share of the cleaning. But not ever good enough. Just not ever good enough. There's that. Barack Obama whipped out his black pastor, urban pastor voice for Jesse Jackson's funeral. Listen to him. He gets all sorts of brother and a ho. Hey. Ha. Now, this is a guy who's a spoiled rotten child who grew up and went to the Punahou School in Hawaii. And he belonged to a group called the Chum Gang in high school because all they did was smoke weed. This man's whiter than me. This man is. I mean, if you knew my upbringing, you'd say he's so much more black than Barack Obama. Barack Obama is like white on rice. Seriously. I mean, unbelievable. Each day we wake up to some new assault on our democratic
Sarah Bedford
institutions.
Rob Carson
Another setback to the idea of the rule of law. How exactly? There, by the way, an offense to common decency. Every day you wake up to. No, not really. Oh. To things you just didn't think were possible. Yeah. Each day we're told, has he said a thing about Jesse Jackson's life yet? By those in high office to fear each other and to turn on each other of the. And that some Americans count more than others. Absolute nonsense. And that some don't even count at all. It's absolutely ridiculous what you're saying. It makes no sense. No. Everywhere we see Greek hat. Yeah, I'm done. Then there's Kamala Harris. She knows. She did the same thing. She's Indonesian, I think, is what I heard. But anyway, here's she.
Sarah Bedford
Let me just say, I predicted a
Rob Carson
lot about what's happening right now. What's happening right now? What's happening right now? Oh, my God.
Sarah Bedford
I'm not into saying I told you so, but we did see it coming.
Rob Carson
What the. The southern border being closed, and that's kicking Iran's ass.
Sarah Bedford
But what I did not predict.
Rob Carson
What.
Sarah Bedford
What is that we would not have Jesse Jackson with us right now.
Rob Carson
Oh, I could. At least you mentioned the guy's name. That's fantastic. Here's Jesse Jackson Jr. He wasn't too happy about the Democrats hijacking dad's funeral yesterday. I listened for several hours of three United States presidents who do not know Jesse Jackson yet. Joe Biden was even worse. He maintained a tense relationship with the political order, not because the presidents were white or black, but the demands of our message, the demands of speaking for the least of these, those who were disinherited, the damned, the dispossessed, the disrespected. Now you want to hear an actual tribute to Jesse Jackson from Donald J. Trump? Listen, I want to begin by expressing our sadness at the passing of a person who was. I knew very well Jesse was a piece of work. It was a piece of work, but he was a good man. Wow. He was a real. He was a real hero. And I just want to pay my highest respects to Reverend Jesse. Imagine that. Imagine that. He's a good man. From white supremacist Donald Trump, as you got to know him, he got better and better. A lot of people, you get to know him, they get worse and worse. Jesse got better and better, but I knew him well long before becoming president. And he really was special with lots of personality, grit, and street smarts. You would say Jesse had serious street smarts, right? A very important ingredient to life. I will tell you. He was gregarious and someone who truly loved people and a force of nature. He was somebody that we're going to greatly miss. And on behalf of everyone here today, I know you join me in sending our condolences to the entire family. Well, that's amazing. What a great family. Isn't that amazing from a white supremacist, right? Isn't that what he is, a white supremacist? Or maybe you guys are just complete jerks. Price of gold. Price of gold hovered above $2,100 an ounce. It's an opportunity for you to get in right now. You know, it went up to $2,600. It's at $5,104. So 5,104. It's a down about 500 from January, but up about 600 from a couple 700 from about a month ago. So there you go. How about that? Yeah, yeah. You know what's doing it There's a lot of uncertainty in the world. Central banks are buying up gold because gold is valuable. Stocks of gold are very valuable. It is a precious metal, more precious than ever. If you don't have any gold in your IRA or 401k, I'd consider getting a tax sheltered Iraq from from Birchgold. All you got to do is text my name. They did it for me. My gold that I got in a month ago has already gone up. It's about 700 an ounce. My gold. It's the best investment decision I've made in my life. Thank you very much. Burch Gold text Rob to 989898 Sarah Bedford, investigative editor for the Washington examiner, joins us next. Don't go anywhere. Hey guys, it's Carson. This was a vile protest rooted in white supremacy entitled stop the Islamic takeover of New York City. I'm the first Muslim mayor of our city. Anti Muslim bigotry is nothing new to me. Nor is it anything new for the 1 million or so Muslim New Yorkers who know this city as our home. I still haven't heard anything about the attempted bombing. Maybe it's just me, but yeah, that's zoran mandami. After two Muslim men, likely Muslim men, 18 year old Amir Balat and 19 year old Ibrahim Nick, tried to throw some explosive devices at Jake Lang and some other protesters. A jar wrapped in black tape with nuts and bolts and screws with a hobby fuse that could be lit and other devices were, were found in the area of Gracie Mansion. But of course Zoran didn't even mention that. He mentioned it later in the speech but he never said Muslim or I don't know, Islamists sure like to do acts of terror involving bombs and stuff. He never did that. It's kind of weird. I know Sarah Bedford, investigative editor for the Washington examiner is just as surprised as me. What do you think, Sarah?
Sarah Bedford
Hi, thanks for having me. I definitely think, you know, Mamdani has been, one could uncharitably say intentionally misunderstanding, pleading about this, but it's also a failure of the press which, you know, you saw headlines in various news reports over the weekend that sort of obscured what authorities did know about the suspects and made it seem like it was the, the anti Islam or white supremacist protesters that were there that, that, that threw the explosive devices. So there was a lot of, of obfuscation about what happened.
Rob Carson
There was also a lot of attempted victimization of himself. You know, I was a new father when 911 happened. And I remember when 911 happened and, and, and, and you know, that George Bush, you know, wanted to know why they were mad at us and all of this. And, and there was never a rise of, of anti Islamic sentiment in this country, America was more than willing to give Islam the benefit of the doubt. And now that we're discovering that mosques are being put up in mass where Sharia law is being attempted to, being brought into our country, we realized that, you know, maybe we were right to raise an eyebrow with regard to a good share of the Islamic faith. So for him to play victim now I think is so disingenuous, it's ridiculous. Sarah.
Sarah Bedford
And almost that whole concept reminds me of the Norm MacDonald quote about do you imagine if ISIS detonated a nuclear bomb in New York City? Just really imagine the anti Islam backlash. That's what really terrifies me. And you know, you do see a problem with radical Islam across the west right now after years of it not really being the sort of top threat that Western governments thought of themselves as facing. You have the Bondi beach shooting in Australia for example. And other attacks allegedly by extremists that show that these are threats that the government has to deal with. And all of this is happening in the context, mind you, of Department of Homeland Security being shut down right now. And you know, this will certainly continue to put pressure on Democrats to, to fund DHS when you do have threats like this out there.
Rob Carson
Unbelievable. And then this is interesting. You know, we kill the Ayatollah, right? Right now we're seeing millennial change in the Middle East. We have millions of Persians around the world celebrating the death of that son of a bee. I like the expression. Donald Trump didn't start a war. He's ending a 47 year war that, that Iran has declared on the world. And it's no doubt 50,000 plus terror attacks around the country, countless people murdered, left disabled by terrorist attacks. But the New York Times writes of the Ayatollah with his spectacles, Palestinian kaifa, long robes and silver beard. Ayatollah Khamenei cast himself as a religious scholar as well as a writer and translator of works on Islam. He affected an avuncular and magnanimous aloofness, running the country from a perch above the jousting of daily politics. Dear God. As a journalist, Sarah, that's, that's Hitler's obituary written as a love story.
Sarah Bedford
Well, you know, you can never underestimate the media and Democrats ability to take the opposite side of whatever Donald Trump supports, even when it to the detriment of their own credibility. That's a little bit of what you're seeing there. But I think this one has been hard for a lot of Democrats to come out explicitly against, especially ones who are on the record as having said that the leadership in Iran serious problem that Iran must never be allowed to get a nuclear weapon. And are sort of on the record as having advocated for regime change in Iran in some way. And now that you have it, I think it is tough for Democrats to come up with a coherent opposition when matters of US national security are potentially at stake.
Rob Carson
I want you to hear a little montage of Kamala Harris then and now. Which foreign country do you consider to be our greatest adversary? Well, there are different reasons that we should be thoughtful about each.
Sarah Bedford
Most recently, I think there's an obvious one in mind, which is Iran. And look, I mean, Iran has American
Rob Carson
blood on their hand now.
Sarah Bedford
Donald Trump has dragged us into a
Rob Carson
war the American people do not want. He has put American troops in harm's way. I unequivocally oppose this war of choice. And everyone should I just, it is mind bending. SARAH I guess they didn't hear there's a thing called the interweb or something like that. I don't know. Have you heard about this thing? Sarah?
Sarah Bedford
Well, it's certainly gotten a lot of them in trouble. And yeah, Kamala Harris is a great example of that sort of flip flopping that the Democratic Party writ large. I mean, you don't hear a coherent, unified pushback to the Iran war. You have individual politicians doing their messaging. But for Democrats, this is a difficult one because it also positions Donald Trump as, you know, a figure of strength that Joe Biden simply wasn't, especially on the international stage. So it has definitely put Democrats for now, in a difficult position, while the American public, again, at least for now, are willing to give Donald Trump some space to see whether this is a limited effective engagement.
Rob Carson
It's worse than that because the Democrat Party would rather have the Ayatollah alive. I'm not kidding. I mean, Adam Schiff said it last weekend, they would rather have him alive. They would rather have people in Iran in bondage, women in Iran suffering, you know, essentially slavery the last 47 years. That's how rotten to the core the Democrat Party and the leftist media are. They really are. They would have rather had Maduro in power because they realize that every one of these victories that Donald Trump has, everything, these, these earth changing world history changing things that Donald Trump precipitates is a nail in their own casket. And I gotta tell you, I've never seen anything like this. It is literally they would have whined about bombing the train tracks to Auschwitz.
Sarah Bedford
Sarah well, you know, it was telling that when you first started seeing the civilian uprisings in Iran against the regime, you didn't have a lot of leftists bemoaning the human rights abuses that were reportedly happening. You know, the murder, the crackdown on protesters from the regime, the ayatollah. And you didn't have a lot of Democrats who are very vocal about human rights abuses in Palestinian territory committed by Israel. When you have the Ayatollah committing those same sorts of atrocities and potentially worse against his own citizens, you didn't have that same sort of outcry on the side of human rights. And I think that's sort of telling about what the real motivations behind Democrats speaking up about Palestine might really be.
Rob Carson
Yeah. I want to continue the conversation on the other side of the break. If you can do that, it'd be great. By the way, Washington Examiner, Sarah Bedford, It's Sarah C. Bedford on on Twitter. I want to talk on the other side about this attempt to redistrict the state of Virginia in favor of Democrats and Katie Couric slobbering over Gavin Newsom. I want your take on that, Sarah, if you wouldn't mind.
Sarah Bedford
Okay, sure.
Rob Carson
Take a break and come back. This is the Rob Carson Show. Hey guys, with Carson. I just got a ghost bed. Yeah, pay attention here because I've been sleeping on a foam mattress since I moved to the Washington, D.C. area, which is like sleeping on the sponge in your sink. Ghostbed doesn't build mattresses like furniture. They build engineered sleep systems. Their beds are serious health equipment beds designed for relief and recovery, not looks, not fluff. Your body should be healing while you sleep, not fighting for comfort. I have been sleeping past seven in the morning on my ghost bed. It's unbelievable. If you wake up stiff, you toss and turn. If you sleep hot, even reaching for a pain reliever before bed, hoping tonight will be different. That's not aging, it's your mattress talking. Another great thing I love about Ghostbed, you get 101 nights to try it at home. If you don't like the difference, you can send it back risk free. Ghostbed is offering my audience their lowest prices of the season plus an extra 10% off. Go to Ghostbed.com Carson use promo code Carson. That's Ghostbed.com Carson promo code Carson. You are going to love your new Ghostbed. President Trump, which, by the way, I think if he is successful, he will go down in history as the most consequential leader not just in America, but for the world because he will have put the genie of Islamic fundamentalism back in the bottle, which came out of the bottle in 1979. That is Rob Sobhani. He is an Iranian American author and lecturer. And, and this is the Democrats see their doom in Donald Trump and every one of his successors. It's a damn shame because the world is changing so dramatically and in Cuba is going to fall next and it's going to be within weeks. Sarah Bedford, investigative editor of the Washington Examiner. Can you imagine, Sarah, if Cuba is free?
Sarah Bedford
Well, it would certainly add to a long list of, I guess on expected foreign policy accomplishments for Donald Trump because when you think back to what he ran on in 2024, it really wasn't, you know, liberating communist nations or taking down dictators. And in fact, all the way back to 2016, he sort of ran on the opposite of that. You know, we're not going to go on nation building tours and we're really just going to focus inward on making America great again or whatever. So this has sort of been an unexpected chapter in the Trump, Trump legacy.
Rob Carson
This is part of his, you know, his, our hemisphere. And, and this is, it's, it's an interesting, you know, 4D chess is what it is. You know, the reason why Donald Trump did the, the tariffs not only was to even the playing field, but also bring countries like India and Pakistan to the peace talk table. That that happened, you know, that Venezuela affects Iran or Venezuela affects China, Venezuela affects Russia, you know, Iran effects China. You're cutting down, you know, China so they can't attack Taiwan and whatnot. Then you've got, you know, all of the things that he's doing with AI and then also, you know, the sphere of influence of China was very big in Cuba. So there's a lot of stuff going on that, yes, maybe wasn't on a bumper sticker, but, but I think it's, it's an amazing juxtaposition of policies that are causing a domino effect for good in the world. That's what I think anyway. I don't know. What do you think?
Sarah Bedford
Well, I think you're right. I mean, one consistency back to even the 80s is that Donald Trump has been sounding the alarm about the rise of China and the risk that a very strong adversarial China would pose to the United States. And that's the one through line of all of this stuff that you mentioned, right? The strengthening the hemispheric power of the US and, you know, cutting off oil supplies in the East. I mean, all of that is sort of about cutting off China's path to dominance over the United States and positioning the United States in the long term to be a stronger counter to China. And so if you look at everything he's done through that lens, it is pretty consistent with where he stood for decades.
Rob Carson
I said that freedom, freedom and patriotism were going to spread and I knew the same sort of things that have happened in Poland and Italy. We're going to be happy. When Donald Trump became the president, I just, I knew it in my heart that said other things going on. What do you think of Chris, Kristi Noem being fired essentially?

Well, look, I mean, under Kristi Noem's tenure, you know, all of the sort of personnel drama, dhs that was going on aside, immigration started out as Donald Trump's one of his most popular issues. Voters trusted him on it the most. It's one of the reasons why he won. And you fast forward roughly A year later. And it's one of his least popular issues. Even though he was making progress toward everything that he promised voters on the campaign trails. Deportations, sealing up the border. And so someone who simultaneously managed to achieve what was promised, and yet through the very flawed execution of those promises, tanked the public support for that immigration agenda. I think it was clear that Donald Trump had to make a change there, Sarah.
Rob Carson
That was the best encapsulation of her tenure I've heard. I mean, that. That was really good. This is why I had you on the show. You kick ass. You just do. You just do. All right, so what's Katie Couric trying to do here? She tried to seduce Gavin Newsom.
Sarah Bedford
Do you have a Zoolander problem?
Rob Carson
No, I. Jesus. Yes.
Sarah Bedford
Are you just ridiculously good looking as folks?
Rob Carson
No, seriously, what do you do about that? You don't do anything about it, because if you're gonna do something about it, then you're. You're bullshit. Sarah, did you, did you throw up in your mouth a little bit there when you, when you hear that again and again and again?
Sarah Bedford
It was definitely a physical cringe moment. I mean, the lack of self awareness, you would have to have to ask a politician that. But, you know, Gavin Newsom has been a total chameleon over the past few years. Like, he was super progressive when it served him in the sort of moral panic of 2020, and now he's trying to sort of cut this independent streak where I'm not beholden to the progressive left, even though his records suggest he very much. And yeah, I mean, I guess his good looks sort of compound the fact that he seems like a sort of slick operator. But it was such a bizarre thing
Rob Carson
to ask political Ted Bundy. I mean, he is a political Ted Bundy. Seriously, that's what he is. Ted Bundy was very seductive and very whatever and all this. And, you know, it fooled a lot of people. But Gavin Newsom is a sociopath. I really believe that, actually. I don't know how you can go to. To Europe while, you know, you've built 12 houses of the 18,000 that burned down and you've lost $125 million on homelessness. That went to nothing. I mean, honestly, what kind of person is that, Sarah?
Sarah Bedford
Well, I'd like to believe that he's not like evil, but he's definitely mercilessly ambitious and sociopath and not be evil. Well, Ted Bundy was evil, but, you know, for Gavin Newsom, he doesn't have a strong record to run on. I mean, so much of California is a disaster. You mentioned the wildfire rebuilding. They have a high poverty rate, their schools are a mess, the cost of living is enormous. I mean, his record is really nothing to brag about. It's going to be hard for him to run on that in an age where affordability is still the number one issue for voters. And so then his sort of of theory of the case is relying on charisma or just a personal connection with voters to overcome that record. But I don't know that he really actually has any charisma. Like the media is having to invent it for him by focusing on his looks or his social media account or whatever. But yeah, the record isn't something he can run on. And so he sort of has to rely on these other superficial things.
Rob Carson
He's never going to be the president, sir. He's never going to be the president. Nice try, but he's never going to be the president. Investigative reporter, Washington Examiner. Sarah Bedford on Twitter at Sarah C. Bedford. Where else can people find your glorious work, Sarah?
Sarah Bedford
You can find it all@washingtonexaminer.com you're the best.
Rob Carson
Have a glorious day. Let's take a break and come back. This is the Rob Carson show. Oh, a little. You too. There you go. The Rock Carson Show. You guys say the, the LA Marathon. That was kind of cool. Here's the, the finish of the LA Marathon. It was won by at the line. Wait, is he within eyesight from us? Wait, is he within eyesight from us? He's in the last. I don't know here. Here he comes, right? Here he comes. So let's get right back down at the finish line so we can watch Michael cross the line here.
Sarah Bedford
Michael Kamau from Kenya.
Rob Carson
Just over 2 hours and 11 minutes on the clock.
Sarah Bedford
Oh, wow. Whoa, whoa.
Rob Carson
Nathan Martin at the finish line.
Sarah Bedford
And it is a photo finish for crowning of the 2026 A6LA Marathon champion. I'm not sure.
Rob Carson
36 year old cross country high school coach. As a fellow person from Michigan, I gotta give you a what up though, because I'm from Detroit. Congratulations, man. Talk to me about, you know, what
Sarah Bedford
it took to win this one at
Rob Carson
the end, just the last stride. Yeah. So I always challenge myself to push regardless to whether somebody to chase or I'm all by myself because I want to know I finished giving everything I had because I know I can always do that. You can't always win, you can always push. And I was just super fortunate. Unbelievable story actually. And I just wanted to mention this guy's name is Nathan Martin. And he competed in the race 2 hours, 11 minutes. Minutes 16.5 seconds. Unbelievable. Finished just a half a second, I mean, under a second ahead of Kenya's Michael Kamau. The victory marks the closest finish in the history of the marathon. And this guy, apparently, is like a cross country coach. And it is remarkable that he won this. I thought it was really, really something else. Nathan Martin is the guy's name. And to be the Kenyan is remarkable. Kenya, obviously, runners are amazing. They have a storied legacy. Mostly because you got to run everywhere in Kenya. Kenya, you know, if you want to go to 7 11, get some bread or milk, you got to run. So, you know, it's like 100 miles away. Okay, I'm gonna go get some milk. I'll be back in a few hours. Honey, you need anything else? All right, I'll get it. That's Kenya. That's why they do so well in the marathon. But we got an American winner this year. Kind of cool. Guys, we'll be back on the stream tomorrow. Say a prayer for my producer, Ken, if you would, please. God bless you. America's founded Donald Trump and the work he's doing to make our America great again. Our military. And until tomorrow, don't catch the stupid. I'll see you then.
