The TSA's funding expired three weeks ago after lawmakers failed to reach an agreement on ICE protocols, triggering a partial Homeland Security shutdown. This is your Democrat Party. They did it in December. They don't give our rats behind who suffers. And it is making us suffer. Casualties are their ammunition. Casualties are their ammunition. If people die, so be it. But I want you to hear what's the Most important to him about where he doesn't want ICE agents who enforce immigration law.

But one of those demands is keep ICE out of sensitive locations. And we've defined that as schools, houses of worship, hospitals.

Okay, Schools, houses of worship, hospitals, schools where illegals might have their kids. Hospitals where, you know, they might need medical treatment, you know, and, and polling sites. And polling sites. He throws in polling sites there.

We want an explicit prohibition.

That ICE can go nowhere near any polling sites in the United States of America. It's one of our demands. We're not going to bend on it.

Oh, my God. Schools, churches, hospitals where illegals need the required services. All right, but polling places, what's the. Okay, you go to a hospital because you're sick, you go to a school because your kids go to school there. You go to church to worship. What do you go to a polling place for? To vote. Yeah, there you go. See, they just admitted it. I mean, it is, it is absolutely, it is absolutely remarkable. And of course, John Thune, I gotta tell you, man, I. Maybe, maybe it's gonna take Donald Trump writing an executive order that will be challenged. An executive order that requires you to show an ID when you register to vote. And if anybody does not shown their identification cannot prove their citizenship, they are removed from the voter rolls, then so be it. So it. But the American people want, want, want this SAVE Act. And here is John Thune throwing his hands up.

And we can't create an organic movement that we go to Washington D.C. and say, do what? We say, do the will of the American people. When is that going to happen? You know, and what does that mean? It means tens of thousands, maybe millions of peoples, your votes were taken from you. The thing that's guaranteed you as A citizen taken from you by a Democrat party who brings illegals in by the millions, loads them up with government largesse, gives them Social Security cards and hopes and guarantees they'll vote because their policies fail. Media Let me be very clear. The Save America act does not prohibit anyone from voting with the exception of illegal aliens. And the greatest way to disenfranchise American citizens from voting in American elections is to allow illegal aliens to vote, which is what Democrats want to do. We see it taking place in Democrat jurisdictions at the state and local level across this country. So the Save America act corrects that. And as far as married women who

have changed, and there's nothing wrong with that, you have nothing to feel bad about for demanding that everyone who votes can prove they are an American citizen. That's is right. It is righteous.

Change their name. If they're already registered to vote, they're entirely unaffected by the SAVE Act. And for the small fraction of individuals who have changed their name or their address, they can still register to vote.

Guess what? It's kind of a pain in the butt to get a driver's license to Do I like doing it? No. Am I going to do it? Yeah. Have I always done it? Yeah.

And this is something that the American people, married women and minorities and people all across this country who Democrats are insultingly saying cannot do this. They're already doing it every day, going to the Social Security office, going to the dmv. And I think it's frankly insulting that the Democrats are saying that there are certain groups of people in this country who aren't smart enough to update their documents.

It's a soft bigotry of low expectations is what they call that. In case you're wondering why the Democrat Party brought so many illegals in. And remember, I don't know if you remember this because, you know, you may be, you know, white, you know, privileged, whatever, but there's a real good chance that your ancestors or even grandparents are immigrants and they came here penniless with an appreciation for the possibility of living the American dream to get away from what they escaped. Now they're just getting away from crap holes to get free crap. And they don't want to assimilate. That's the way it's going. Let me prove it to you. That was a, that was a pretty full throated endorsement by the President of the United States, my friend. That's pretty amazing.

Absolutely. You know, he hadn't done it once, not twice, but he's done it three times now for me here in Georgia. And I still have these guys running against me, these never Trumpers, as I call them, trying to claim that the President's supporting them. But he, obviously, you could hear that, that audio you just played, right?

Yes, sir.

It's as strong as it comes, you know.

Well, it's, it's important and I think the president is popular. The, the, the liberal media, the leftist media, the Democrat Party are doing everything they can to counter Donald Trump no matter what he does, including most recently demeaning our troops and their tremendous success starting on day one with epic fury. And, and now, you know, the Democrat Party forcing the DHS to be shut down when we're at our most vulnerable. It is remarkable, isn't it?

[Bert Jones]

Bert Jones is wild. It's wild to watch them, they, they, they dislike him so much. I've never seen anything like it before. That they would, they would rather do harm to our, to our, to our military personnel as well as our country as a whole. It's just ridiculous. And the problem is that it's spreading. You know, down here in Georgia, we have Democrats that used to be kind of middle of the road have just gotten to be these left wing, almost lunatic likes.

Well, this isn't like for instance in the state of Virginia. I just moved to Virginia from Kansas City and I moved to Virginia. The, the governor here, who is a crazy white liberal cat lady, lied about who she was, misrepresented who she was, got into office and is springing all sorts of crap on the people of Virginia. 75, new taxes, gun control. That is completely unconstitutional, even though the state has a $2.3 billion surplus going in. Is that the same thing that's going on in the state of Georgia?

[Bert Jones]

Well, it's even worse than that. Even the Republicans and Democrats. Republicans I'm running against and Democrats are running against. You really couldn't tell the difference between them if you put them in the room, because the guys that I'm running against are such moderate lightweights that they might as well be running on the Democratic ticket. So it is kind of scary that in a Republican primary, I truly am the only common sense conservative candidate in the race because the rest of them have a track record that is easily exposed, and they are not America First. I can assure you that you're running

against a guy named Rick Jackson who's, I guess, spending a lot of money on TV ads and whatnot, and is presenting himself, I've heard, as a, as a conservative outsider. I'm assuming he is misrepresenting himself.

[Bert Jones]

Well, he bankrolled Jeb Bush's campaign back in 2016, bankrolled Nikki Haley's campaign in 24, and he runs a health care operation that promotes Planned Parenthood, dei. He has a DEI director within his organization, as well as trans surgeries for minors.

[Rob Carson]

Dear God.

[Bert Jones]

Prisoners. I mean, you can't make this stuff up. I'm telling you, it's terrible.

[Rob Carson]

Well, this isn't, this is not the people of Georgia. I don't care if you're black, white or otherwise. This is not the people of Georgia. Same goes for this, this legislature here in the, in the state of Virginia. They do not represent the people. The people are much more conservative and common sense than, than these people who are either running for office or already in office.

[Bert Jones]

No question. No question about it. And, and, and we need to root them all out, you know, Rob, because they're. They poison to our state. They're poison to our country. And they don't need to be involved in politics for sure, because they don't represent the people in their best interest. And so that's a big reason why I'm running. I've seen all these guys up close and personal, and they do not believe in what the president is doing right now and his agenda because they never have before. So you can always tell what somebody's going to do in the future by just watching what they've done in the past. And these have all they're all, all trying to fool the public here, but they're not going to Georgia. Smarter than this.

[Rob Carson]

I think so, too. How are things at Hartsfield? I mean Hartsfield, the most busy airport in the country. The Democrat party doesn't care about the inconvenience, doesn't care about our safety. When sleeper cells are being awakened. How are things at the busiest airport in the country?

[Bert Jones]

Well, obviously you got a big hiccup. You know what's going on when you, when you cut off, when you've got people out there either working for free right now or they're just calling in sick. So it causes a shortage in personnel. And obviously when you have the busiest airport in the world, it doesn't take long for things to back up pretty quickly. So, yeah, so that's the concern. But unfortunately we've got two Democratic U.S. senators, believe it or not. I still don't know how we have that, but we've got two. And they're just as partisan as the next person. So they're not, they're not helping matters. Anyone's up for reelection. So I can't believe that he's taken the stances that he's taken. But, you know, but he's going to, he's going to. I hope the people of Georgia remember it on the ballot this coming November.

[Rob Carson]

You know, there's a lot of people leaving the Democrat run states. I don't call them blue states. That's bull crap. Red is communist. But a lot of people, they vote in these people like Zoran Mandami. Nobody wants to live there anymore. Nobody moves to New York because Zoan Mandam in charge. Nobody is moving to Maryland because Westmore is in charge. Nobody's moving to California because of Gavin Newsom's policies. The state of Georgia, you're talking about possibly getting rid of the income tax. You've seen how well it works in Tennessee, in Florida and Texas, in South Dakota, all of these things. Is that one of the things you're planning on doing if you become the governor?

[Bert Jones]

Yeah, absolutely. And our, and our neighbors are talking about it. South Carolina, North Carolina. And we, we've lowered the state income tax all four years I've been lieutenant governor. I'd like to, to see us go to zero. We're taking on property tax issues at the local level. And so we're doing all the, all the kitchen table issues, things that will help people in their pocketbooks and their wallets. We're doing those right now and going to continue to do it. When I'M governor. And it's just amazing to me that all these measures, we're in legislative session right now and we've been bringing these proposals up and every time that every Democrat votes against measures that will absolutely represent savings to their constituents and they're just doing it because of this ideology that the Democrats have right now. That's just un American.

Yeah. And if you win the governorship at the state of of Georgia, it's going to result in a net income of people. Georgia is a beautiful state. I used to do a lot of time on the radio there when Wyatt in Atlanta was there. They even considered adding me there for the the morning show, but then they got sold. But I love the area. I love the state of Georgia. It's an absolutely gorgeous place. And I got to tell you, if you can make it more attractive by lessening regulation and lessening taxes, it's going to blow up. But we've got to get rid of these woke policies that are driving people out of states like Virginia, states like New Jersey, states like California. Bert Jones, I appreciate you being on. Thune does not want a majority vote because he doesn't have regardless of the 50 co sponsors on this, he doesn't have 50 votes. So what he wants to do is set up a 60 vote threshold knowing it will fail so he can get every Republican or nearly Republican, every Republican on board. See, Mitch McConnell will go on a 60 vote threshold and he'll vote for it because then he can go back and say well of course I support.
