Most interesting, informative, thought provoking and funny show in America on air and on the World Wide Web. This is the Rob Carson Show.
Political Commentator
For the past decade, there's been one constant for Democrats, one constant, go after Trump. They spied on his campaign. Then it was Mueller, then it was Impeachment one, then it was impeachment two. Then it was all the lawfare, Alvin Bragg, Fani Willis, Letitia James. Then it was Arctic Frost investigation, the Justice Department surveilling United States senators and congressmen and a whole host of other Americans. Then it was Jack Smith and his gag orders and his raiding President Trump's home. Then it was a 43 day shutdown and now it's Epstein and by the way, by the way, the same party that did all that. They were also the ones who were texting with Mr. Epstein during a hearing where Michael Cohen was their witness in another effort to go after the President. Americans see through it all. And frankly, it's actually kind of sad.
Rob Carson
Yeah, it's kind of sad. I'm getting fricking tired of it, to be quite honest. I'm ready to about kick some ass, to be quite honest. Just really dang tired of getting exhausted of it, to be quite honest. The, the shutdown, of course, was the, the next thing because, you know, the Democrats began their, their next round of temper tant in the last nine months and Donald Trump is doing some amazing, amazing, amazing stuff. Got another trillion dollars, another trillion dollars of investment from Saudi Arabia. Yawn. Let me see, how much did Joe Biden bring in America? Nothing. Nothing at all. But he did bring, like, I don't know, 20 million illegals across the southern border and up to 425 children trafficked for sex or labor. Other than that, he was a great president. I mean, really, honestly, what a joke. So tired of the Democrat temper tantrum. The dimper tantrum. I like to call it a dimper tantrum. You bunch of crybaby whiners. You did nothing. You did nothing. When Joe Biden was the president, we got a president in office who's doing what he asked him to do, we asked him to do after you guys tried to put him in jail, tried to impeach him, raided his house, tried to take him off the ballot and tried to murder him. And honestly, get the hell over yourself. How about that? How about get the hell over yourself? Here's some good news from Judge Jeanine. I moved here about. Wow, holy hell. It's been over four months ago. It's been almost five months that I've lived in Washington D.C. and listen what Donald Trump has done to Washington D.C. this just, this is more than Joe Biden did in four years after he was installed after a rigged and stolen election.
Judge Jeanine
Everyone, it's Judge Jeanine here. I am in D.C. and we're still talking about the surge.
Rob Carson
And she is cute as a bug's ear.
Judge Jeanine
A little over three months from August 7th to November 17th. And the number, number of arrests are 6,000, 362. The number of guns seized are 610 guns. Now, you've got to put that in perspective. And I'm going to do that by comparing the numbers from what it was in 2023, okay, the violent crimes were 60% higher.
Rob Carson
You're saying that Donald Trump brought down violent crime in Washington, D.C. by 60%.
Judge Jeanine
2023 than they are right now as a result of the surge.
Rob Carson
What else?
Judge Jeanine
Carjackings in 23 were 80%.
Rob Carson
He brought down carjackings by 80%. That's historic.
Judge Jeanine
Higher homicides were 72% higher.
Rob Carson
He brought down homicides for those who are Democrats. That's when people murder each other.
Judge Jeanine
And violent gun crimes were 75% higher.
Rob Carson
Yes.
Judge Jeanine
And you can see that the numbers go down a little bit in 24, but not really that much.
Rob Carson
No, not really. But that's because they defunded the police and they had to refund the police and everything. Everything. And so of course, the, the, the rates are going to come down. After Democrats caused the rates of murder and all these crimes to go up exponentially after the summer of 2020 difference.
Judge Jeanine
Even between 90 days before the surge and the surge is dramatic.
Rob Carson
Wow.
Judge Jeanine
It shows the difference that it makes when law enforcement works together. I know when the focus is that.
Rob Carson
A defunding them and calling them pigs.
Judge Jeanine
And stuff, making sure that criminals are apprehended. When the deterrent effect of law enforcement being on the street is ever present, then we're able to really protect the people who live in the District.
Rob Carson
Isn't that just amazing? And I've been in here, like I said, almost five months. And every time I go into downtown D.C. it's just, it's just peaceful as can be. I'm thinking about going there on Saturday, maybe seeing the sights, maybe walking up to the Capitol and saying hi to everybody and all that. We'll see. But it's nice to have a safe place to go. It is a nice place to go. You know, I've been talking about the Democrat Party and why they are Doing what they do. And of course I was right because generally have common sense life experience and I do a lot of, a lot of research and whatnot. And the Democrat Party, the reason why they're doing all this crap, like for instance, the government shutdown is because they're trying to cover up and prevent all the success.
Political Commentator
This mindset that says we gotta go after President Trump no matter what that they have. I think it's because President Trump's and Republicans have accomplished so much that they told the voters they were going to accomplish.
Rob Carson
No, no, like I think I told you that. I told you that. He said, you know, when Donald Trump was the president, the first time I said that, the, the reason why he's so amazing is he's the first president that in my lifetime, other than Reagan, that went to Washington D.C. and did what he said he was going to do and what we asked him to.
Political Commentator
Do in the 2024 election. We're actually doing what we said we were going to do. President Trump said he was going to cut taxes and he did. President Trump said he would secure the border and he did.
Rob Carson
Oh, yeah, he did big time.
Political Commentator
President Trump said he get men out of women's sports and he did. President Trump said he would make sure Iran doesn't have nuclear capability. Kind of kicked their butts and, and he said he would get the hostages out of Gaza basket back into Israel, and he did. All in nine months.
Rob Carson
All in nine months. That's just a little bit of it, by the way. And we get to the, the Saudi prince showing up yesterday at the White House. It's so funny because this guy, normally in the Saudi Arabian subjects who live there got to be watching Donald Trump just slapping this guy on the back and everything. Because nobody ever messes with the king over there. Nobody ever messes with the crown prince over there. You don't touch him. You don't even look at him. Donald Trump's like, hey, buddy, what's up? He's giving them high fives. So funny to watch. It's so funny to watch when you got a guy in charge, a man who is just amazing in charge. And he got another trillion dollars. He got another trillion dollars out of Saudi Arabia. Was pretty amazing. Here, here he is, actually. He was originally just going to be $600 billion, but decided to go with a trillion. We're gonna announce that we are gonna increase that, that 600 billion to almost 1 trillion dollar investment. You're saying it's like 19 trillion dollars now. And Joe Biden didn't bring anything.
Saudi Crown Prince
Billion will be 1 trillion.
Rob Carson
Definitely. Because what we are signing to facilitate that and I like that.
Saudi Crown Prince
If you didn't see potential in the US you wouldn't be doing that. You don't want to lose money.
Rob Carson
As you said, Mr. President is the most hottest country in the planet. Yeah, we're the hottest country in the planet. Did you hear that? Better than when the old pudding for brains was the president. Honestly, what a joke. Nancy Pelosi said he should be on Mount Rushmore. Should be Mount Rushmore on. I think they should put that in New York state if they can find a slab of granite to carve it into. Here is Donald Trump just glad handing. High five. And normally this guy never shakes hands. This guy's the friggin crown prince. You don't mess with him. Donald Trump's over here smacking him on the back and everything.
Saudi Crown Prince
Does Trump blow him all away?
Rob Carson
Son of the league, Mr. President.
Saudi Crown Prince
And Trump doesn't give a fist bump. I grabbed that hand. I don't give a hell where that hand's been. I grabbed that man.
Rob Carson
It is good to see a president that is large and in charge, just to say the least. And here, here he is talking about, this guy is an Arab nation leader and he's talking about expanding the Abraham Accords and bringing peace to the Middle East. Donald Trump has done that for the first time, I don't know, since Jesus lived.
Saudi Crown Prince
I don't want to use the word commitment, but we've had a very good talk on the Abraham Accords. We talked about one state, two state, you know, we talked about a lot of things in a short period of time. We'll be discussing it further too. But I think you have a very good feeling toward the Abraham accords.
Rob Carson
Yes, definitely, Mr. President. We want peace for the Israelis, we want peace for the Palestinians. We want them to coexist peacefully in the region and we will do our best to reach that day. Wow, man, that was. That's kind of historic. Again, Joe Biden never did anything like that because he was going to bed at nine in the morning and all of that stuff. ABC News, there was a, you know, little reporter there yesterday and she was doing what ABC News and Donald Trump gave her a little what for. Here is the ABC reporter confronting the crown prince. Your royal highness, the U. S. Intelligence concluded that you orchestrated the brutal murder of a journalist.
Judge Jeanine
9, 11 families are furious that you are here in the Oval Office.
Thane Rosenbaum
Why should Americans.
Saudi Crown Prince
Who are you with?
Rob Carson
And the same to you, Mr. President.
Saudi Crown Prince
Now who are you with?
Rob Carson
I'm with ABC News, sir.
Saudi Crown Prince
You're with who?
Rob Carson
ABC News, sir.
Saudi Crown Prince
Fake news. ABC Fake news. One of the worst. One of the worst. A lot of people didn't like that gentleman that you're talking about, but he knew nothing about it and we can leave it at that. You don't have to embarrass our guests by asking a question like that.
Political Commentator
Does ABC know their parent company Disney.
Thane Rosenbaum
Just built a Disney mouse castle in Riyadh?
Rob Carson
Yeah, that is true. That is true. They got a Disney mouse capital in Riyadh there. And I wonder what they charge for those little Mickey Mouse head waffles there. Because by God, at Disney parks they're like $15. Trust me, I've been to Disney a few times. It wasn't on my dime. Thank God. Here is Donald Trump going after that reporter again. Mr. President, why wait for Congress to.
Judge Jeanine
Release the Epstein files?
Rob Carson
Why not do it now?
Saudi Crown Prince
Well, it's not the question that I mind. It's your attitude. I think you are a terrible reporter. It's the way you ask these questions. You start off with a man who's highly respected asking him a horrible, insubordinate and just a terrible question. And you could even ask that same exact question nicely.
Rob Carson
You're all say please. Didn't your mom and dad say please?
Saudi Crown Prince
For God's sake, somebody psychs you over at abc, they're going to psych it. You're a terrible person and a terrible reporter.
Rob Carson
I love them. Remember George Bush? He'd just bend over and take it from the media. He was so frickin worthless, so worthless in front of the media. And this one has probably got the hires up at ABC messing their britches like Joe Biden used to do.
Saudi Crown Prince
People are wise to you Hoax and abc. Your company, your crappy company is one of the the perpetrators. And I'll tell you something, I'll tell you something. I think the license should be taken away from ABC because your news is so fake and it's so wrong. And we have a great commissioner, the chairman who should look at that because I think when you come in and when you're 97% negative to Trump and then Trump wins the election in a landslide, that means obviously your news is not credible and you're not credible as a reporter.
Rob Carson
Wow. I love the fact that he is giving the leftist media a little what fur. This is something I've waited my entire broadcast career for. And I think it's glorious. I think it's glorious. We got a lot of stuff coming up. We're gonna go to the Epstein file release and we're gonna get into these, oh, American truckers, how badly they've been suffering because Joe Biden, you know, brought all these illegals in. And how many American truckers have been replaced by illegals who can't even read English. It is. It is startling. We got brigitte Gabriel on the show today. We got Thane Rosenbaum on the show today. And. And it's going to be awesome. I promise you. Let's take a break and come back. This is the Rob Carson show.

Rob Carson
It is a Rob Carson show on a. What is it? It's Wednesday, right? It's Wednesday. Holy heck. Thanksgiving is next week, for crying out loud. I saw this, this poll this morning. It was on fox or something, and they, they said, what are your favorite things? But at the Thanksgiving dinner table, is it your favorite, the turkey or the sides? It's gotta be the sides. Cause you can have turkey any time of the year, right? You can have turkey any time of the year. And honestly, I mean, if, if turkey were that big a deal, it's like, ham, Ham's okay. Ham's just okay. There are no ham houses. There are a lot of steakhouses, but nobody goes, mmm, man, I want to go to Ruth's Chris ham house. The same goes with t turkey. You have turkey sandwiches and all that. It's all about the sides. I'm not a big fan of the green bean casserole. I mean, that was a big deal in the 50s when there was, you know, no hot sauce and stuff, and the food was really bland. And you just take some camel's cream of mushroom soup and dump a can of green beans. Green beans under there, canned green beans. Throw some of those fried onions on top. I like to do, like, if I do it fancy, I'll do like real green beans. Add a bunch of cheese. I'd add a whole bunch of cheese. I'd have a come to cheeses moment, Throw them together, throw some nice onion rings on top of that, and then do it right. Do it absolutely right. But I always loved Thanksgiving. When I was a kid, my mother would cook for 45 to 60 people, and it was outrageous. It was the best holiday of the year. Not just because of the food. Not just because of the food. You know, it was like the only time of the year we didn't fight. I'm excited about the holiday season. I really am. About the Christmas season, about the hanukkah season. I'm very, very excited this year. I know you're thinking, really, really. You just got a divorce and everything. No, I really am. I'm really thrilled. I even have a visitor coming to visit me this week. You know who it is you want me to give you? I'll tell you. Tony Kennett is coming to D.C. and he's going to be live in the studio on Friday. We're going to be chilling together. It's going to be a blast. Oh my God. We're going to be dangerous together. I don't know how neither one of us drink but it could, it could be pretty dangerous. This is kind of interesting. States across the country have potentially illegally issued about 194,000 Commercial Driver's License to foreign truck drivers who do not meet the English language standard. This is just friggin ridiculous. This is what Pete Booty Gig did as the Transportation Secretary. He was transphobic because he was afraid of transportation. According to Sean Dovey, the new Transportation Secretary, 200,000 CDLs commercial driver's lice been issued to foreign nationals. 194,000 is suspected of having issued illegally. Unbelievable. People can't understand the English language. They can't read signs. They don't know the rules of the road. That's a problem. Duh. CDL mills where foreign nationals were arriving in the US and being pushed into the mills to secure CDLs despite their hardly any knowledge of American driving rule. This is freaking just honestly can you just roll a grenade into the country and watch it explode? That's what pudding for brains did as the President of the United States. It's driving truckers out of business and American trucking companies driving wages down. Then of course we had this news about this Uzbek terrorist driver. He's an illegal alien. They captured him in Kansas. Been awarded a CDL to drive a semi truck by the state of Pennsylvania with Josh Shapiro. He's a poser. He's a poser as a is a governor of the state of Pennsylvania. Hopefully Doug Mastriano will some be the someday be the governor of that state and Pennsylvania will be great again. But that said he was released into the United States interior by Joe Biden. It was like it was almost a plan or something. Jim Gossett Ralph Carson show.
Jim Gossett
Yeah, breaker one nine, this here's the Iceman. You got a copy on me? Big Ben? Come on, go get a box. I just passed by a gang of truckers I ain't never seen before. They were yelling at their windows. Death to America. Yeah. We definitely got the front door. Mercy sakes alive. It looks like we got us and Al Cotton a convoy. I just arrested a terrorist in a truck.
Rob Carson
Yeah, that's true.
Jim Gossett
The fact that he ain't hurt no one, well, that's just total luck.
Rob Carson
That's right.
Jim Gossett
He was here illegally for jihad. He is called uhhuh. Only a liberal Democrat wouldn't be appalled. We got a terrorist convoy here illegally. They could pose a major threat. A threat to you and me. Terroristic truckers Wonder what's in their lo. Wouldn't be surprised if a rig of theirs explodes. Convoy.
Rob Carson
There you go.
Jim Gossett
We'll catch you on the flip flop. Big pin. This is the Iceman. Over and out.
Rob Carson
Go get a nice man. Go get a nice man. That is Jim Gazette. Oh, my God. I opened that this morning. I was like, wow. I wrote him. I said, you. You ought to do something to convoy. Military cooperation to even greater heights by formally designating Saudi Arabia as a major non NATO ally, which is something that is very important to them. And I'm just telling you now for the first time because I wanted to keep a little secret for tonight. I just heard him say, oh, that's nice. That's another point you won today. But and signing a historic strategic defense agreement which we just signed a little while ago. So congratulations at Saudi Arabia.
Rob Carson
With the crown prince Yesterday in Washington D.C. saudi Arabia, another trillion dollars invested with the United States of America. Talk about expansion of the Abraham Accords and even said that he had hoped for peace between the Palestinian quote unquote people and Israel. So Kind of an interesting meeting. Thane Rosenbaum, one of our favorite guests on this here radio program, legal analyst and law professor, joins us on the Newsmax hotline. How you doing today, sir?
Thane Rosenbaum
Hey, Robbie. Good hearing your voice, buddy.
Rob Carson
You know what? You're the only person other than my mother that has ever called me Robbie.
Thane Rosenbaum
Who you let get away with it. No one. Only me and your mom.
Rob Carson
Let me just say you got away with it this time.
Thane Rosenbaum
I'll keep that in mind.
Rob Carson
All right. All right. So let's talk a little bit about what happened yesterday at the White House. You know, I'm not all that familiar with protocol in the Middle east, but generally, when it comes to the Saudi crowd prince, you don't slap him on the back and, you know, grab his hand and all that stuff. And I just think it's kind of funny to watch Donald Trump around this guy because he's kind of got. He's kind of got the crown prince wrapped around his finger a little bit. What are your, what are your thoughts on this?
Thane Rosenbaum
Yeah, there's this thing about Trump that's really extraordinary, that when people say things like, well, he's not diplomatic and he doesn't follow protocols, it hasn't really hurt America with that. You know, that like the guy who's slinging hamburgers at McDonald's.
Rob Carson
Yeah.
Thane Rosenbaum
That's a good thing. It's not a bad thing. You know, there was a coldness to Obama's eight years. A coldness. He wasn't warm. And Trump, I think, somehow gets away with what you're saying, not, you know, God forbid he should say Robbie.
Rob Carson
Yes. Well, he could call me Robby all day. I mean, as far as I would change my name to Robby if he asked me to.
Thane Rosenbaum
But, you know, here's the kind of guy that goes to the Saudi prince and is talking to them as if they're friends from, you know, the play school playground.
Rob Carson
I know, right.
Thane Rosenbaum
I think it has broken the ice in a number of these instances where you're seeing countries that had no relation with the United States, where political leaders are getting up and saying, we would like to nominate Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize. You're going, what?
Rob Carson
Well, I think it's also, I will tell you, I think there's a good deal of fear and respect also involved there as well. Yeah, it's not, it's not all about Donald Trump being chubby and all that. It's, hey, we're on the get along. You know, you're going to do real fine if you get along with me. But if you believe with me, you see what we did to Iran. You know.
Thane Rosenbaum
You'Re right about that. Let's go back for a minute. Everyone believes that Hamas took this shot on October 7th because they thought that Saudi Arabia was about to sign the Abraham Accordance. And at that point, with Saudi Arabia, the most important country in the Middle east, joining the Abraham Accords, the Palestinians thought, we are now totally forgotten. No one cares about us, and the only way they'll care about us if we kill Jews. So let's just go do that now and make a big deal out of it. And so everyone believed that that was the fear that they saw that and everyone. And the reason Iran was helping Hamas is because they wanted to stop Saudi Arabia from joining as well. It wasn't just Hamas. It was also Iran didn't want to see Saudi Arabia shift to become a major ally. So when Trump says yesterday to the entire world from the Oval Office, I would like to now think of Saudi Arabia as a quasi NATO ally that must have driven the ayatollahs insane. Oh, my God, they must have gone, their hair is on fire or turbans are on fire because they realize, oh, my God, they're treating as if, you know, Saudi Arabia is treating like, being treated like the United Kingdom, like France, like Germany. So I think you're right. I think that what Donald Trump did in assisting Israel in dismantling the nuclear arsenal of Iran, I think this step also endeared Trump to the Saudi prince, as if to say, isn't it great to have America as an ally?
Rob Carson
You gotta imagine that the NATO allies panties are twisted in a bunch over this, though, you know?
Thane Rosenbaum
Well, sure, if you're Poland and your GDP is nowhere and Saudi Arabia is. When you think in terms of economically, it's a world power. So what Trump, he's a businessman. Trump's thinking Saudi Arabia is NATO for us because we see them as a large financial center that can only help America in growth. We're looking to grow our economy. And so why should we treat Bulgaria in the same way simply because Bulgaria is in Europe? Why should we treat the Dutch in the same way when you have Saudi Arabia, why not let the crown prince know that we see him in our eyes as a player as if he was in Western Europe?
Rob Carson
Well, you look at how the Middle east has changed, and this has been a long time coming. You know, there are a lot of issues with Qatar, United Arab Emirates, but my God, those are rich countries. And particularly with the uae. The UAE has gone beyond oil and done some other amazing things. So you're seeing the Middle east becoming this economic powerhouse, even with oil and beyond oil. And then you, you, you usher in this new era of cooperation that Donald Trump has brought in by already bringing seven of these nations together. Disarming Iran, consequently disarming Hamas. Have you heard of any massive terrorist bombings around the world in the last 90 days or so, or has it been kind of quiet? It's been kind of quiet. Hadn't it thing. It's been kind of quiet.
Thane Rosenbaum
It's been very quiet. And I think, you know, Donald Trump and Israel working together has given ISIS and other organ or terrorist organizations something to think about. Hezbollah was eliminated in a number of weeks. The Houthis, you know, have been degraded.
Rob Carson
Iran, where's isis?
Thane Rosenbaum
No one. And that, that we know from the first Trump administration. So, you know, this is a guy who, when he says, this is what we're going to do, we're going to do. You know, during the Obama administration, America was on the apology tour. We're really sorry for all the terrible things we've done to all these other countries.
Rob Carson
Yes.
Thane Rosenbaum
And Donald Trump does not make apologies. He's saying.
Rob Carson
Yeah, I would say he's quite unapologetic.
Thane Rosenbaum
Exactly. He's saying, let America lead. Watch where we'll bring you. Follow us. Let us lead and watch how. You know, that's why even Cutter hasn't been cut off. You would think, you know, but he's doing just what you just said. Qatar has too much money, too much assets to cut off.
Rob Carson
Well, I think they're realizing that they'd rather have paradise here on earth than, you know, than after this life with however many virgins. Maybe that's part of it. Yeah. I want to cover. I want to. In the next break, I want to talk to you a little bit about Zoran Mandami and the repercussions of. Repercussions of his election and how he's already begging for money. He's begging for money again yesterday. We will cover that. In the meantime, Thane Rosenberg is on our. Rosenbaum. Sorry. Is on our show. You called me, Robbie? I called you Rosenberg. Let's take a break and come back. This is the Rob Carson Show. It's been two weeks since we won the election.
Saudi Crown Prince
We've been pretty busy.
Judge Jeanine
Jack's a Democratic socialist.
Thane Rosenbaum
Zoran Mamdani, too often, this is a.
Rob Carson
Time of just celebration as opposed to preparation. We want to make it both.
Thane Rosenbaum
A lot of these things are new.
Rob Carson
But one of them is pretty Fundraising.
Thane Rosenbaum
But why are we fundraising? Well, we have less than 50 days.
Rob Carson
Until we take office and we have a lot to do.
Thane Rosenbaum
We have to vet the 50,000 resumes we've received. Thank you.
Rob Carson
We have to keep paying our incredible team.
Political Commentator
Thank you.
Rob Carson
And we have to plan not just our inauguration, but our policy implementation.
Thane Rosenbaum
Now, unlike the campaign, transitions do not.
Rob Carson
Get public matching funds from the city.
Thane Rosenbaum
So that eight to one match the.
Rob Carson
Second time that Zoran Bondami the socialist is begging for money, this time for his transition team as he becomes the mayor of New York City. Thane Rosenbaum's joining us on the Newsmax hotline. Thane, you know, a couple of weeks ago there was this earthquake. You know, Democrat socialist had swept into power in New York City. Not expect unexpected. And everybody was convinced this was going to sweep across the country. Yet a 42 year old woman still depending on her parents, who's never had a job in the city of Seattle. And I had a lot of conservative pundits telling me they were worried about this rise of communism, socialism in America. And I said it was a, I think I put it very gingerly, a fart in a Cat 5 hurricane. And I stand by that. I stand by that, Thane. And the reason being is there are literally troops, trillions of dollars. And I had a study last week, trillions of dollars have left New York City and state, New Jersey and California for states like Florida and Texas. If socialism were such a destination, why when Zoran Mondami was elected, did not 1 million people say they were going to move into New York rather than leave New York? So I don't think this is going to cash on nationally. I think it's another 8020 issue doesn't mean that New York is not kind of screwed. And then I might also add this thing, he is already talking about wanting to meet with Donald Trump. So what are your thoughts?
Thane Rosenbaum
Well, here's something. I guess you're suggesting that the anti capitalists discovered that he needs capital.
Rob Carson
Yes.
Thane Rosenbaum
All of a sudden the guy that hates money says, you know what, I could use some money.
Rob Carson
Yes.
Thane Rosenbaum
You know, that's number one. Number two, you know, he was swept into office by a lot of young people who have no idea what socialism was and how badly it failed. They don't know. So if you tell people you get free stuff and the government should give you free stuff and doesn't explain and knows nothing about municipal finance because he doesn't, he was a failed rapper, he's never had a job. So you know, all of a sudden, if you're talking about free stuff and you don't know how to pay for it. That's a problem, right? One of the reasons why Michael Bloomberg was so successful for three terms is he was a billionaire businessman. And one of the reasons Trump has been so successful in dealing with trade imbalances. He was a businessman, he understood how to manage things. So I don't understand how anyone who voted for Mondami thought, yeah, he says free stuff, but, you know, we should really wonder how he's going to achieve it. That's number one. Number two, I am of an age, Rob, that when I was a little boy in New York, New York was starting to have a series of progressive mayors. The exact same scenario, 1965, when I was in kindergarten, is when New York started to collapse. We had a series of progressive mayors. And you know what we then had? Sanitation workers on strike, transportation workers on strike, teachers on strike. The city nearly went bankrupt in the mid-1970s. Gerald Ford very famously said, no bailout for New York City. The New York Post cover said New York dropped dead. Right? People forgot. New York nearly went bankrupt. And this was a good 15, 16 years of pain. And you know what happened? A million New Yorkers left, including my parents with their son. A million people left. So what you're describing is not hypothetical. It is true. We saw it happen a little during the pandemic. But I think that if Mondami is really serious and he seems to be committed to his agenda, then he's going to soon discover an erosion of the tax base and an absolute inability to pay for stuff, and he's going to be stuck.
Rob Carson
Well, you can't tax people to pay for your agenda who don't have any damn money. And then you look at this. There's a real possibility that at least Stefanik is going sweep into power as the governor of the state and she's not going to be very cooperative. That's why he's suddenly saying, hey, maybe I'd like to meet with Donald Trump. I think that he understands that Donald Trump is going to take every damn dime from that city without any compunction whatsoever. And there are conservative states now that are, even more than in the 70s, broadcasting to places like New York. Come here and live, because you don't have to do this. And listen, the successful people and the money making corporations don't need suffer this abuse. So good luck with your communist socialist revolution. If it were nationwide and you stole elections nationwide like they do in places like Venezuela, then you might have a case and you might be able to get away with it, but not in this country. It's just not going to happen. And then also Stephen Miller was saying yesterday, did you hear about this? 40% of people who live in rent controlled housing in New York are foreigners. So this is one of the reasons why he was, you know, he was playing to that demo for his vote. I would assume 100% of those votes went to him.
Thane Rosenbaum
Right, exactly. I mean, that was part of the strategy with the open borders. Yeah, they would be open borders that would feel committed. They could be voted. Open borders led to voters, you know, people potentially who could vote for us, thanking us for opening the borders for them. But the people that come into this country, they need stuff too. Everybody was promised stuff. Not just Americans, but the people that fled across the Rio Grande. So you're seeing all of these blue cities beholden to a very, very strange constituency of young people that don't understand the failings of the communism and just brutal up pampered and lazy and don't want to work. So that's not a good combination. And people who arrived illegally who are saying America is the land of milk and honey and they'll just give us free stuff.
Rob Carson
Yeah. Rather than what maybe your parents or your parents did when they came here, they came here expecting, with pennies in their pockets, not expecting rent controlled housing and expecting to live the American dream, become a part of the American melting pot.
Thane Rosenbaum
Opportunity. They came. Yes, that's changed.
Rob Carson
Yes.
Thane Rosenbaum
There was generations of immigrants that saw America as a land of opportunity. Not an opportunity, a place of free stuff. Opportunity meaning you will be treated on an even plane and you can go pursue your happiness. As Thomas Jefferson said.
Rob Carson
Well, you, you can get opportunity if you assimilate. And if you just expect to come here for a largesse or, or, you know, all of that, then you won't. And that's not going to work. It's just not going to work. Dan Rosen. Mom, we got to go. Brother. It was so n have you on today. I appreciate if I don't talk to you before Thanksgiving. I wish. I wish you and yours the very best. And you might want to isolate this interview because it's the only time you'll ever call me Robbie, okay?
Thane Rosenbaum
I will never happen again, I promise you.
Rob Carson
All right, bud, we'll talk to you soon. Let's take a break and come back. This is the Rob Carson show. Hey, this is Rob Carson Show. We've got a lot of stuff to get to on the radio program. I'll go ahead and Just introduce this now. We will definitely hit. On the other side of the break, a bunch of Democrat senators have decided that they want to try to get members of the military to disobey orders against Donald Trump. I'm Senator Alyssa Slotkin. Senator Mark Kelly.
Political Commentator
Representative Chris d', Aluzio, Congresswoman Maggie Goodlander.
Rob Carson
Representative Chrissy Houlihan, Congressman Jason Crow.
Political Commentator
I was a captain in the United States.
Rob Carson
By the way, the diverse faces of the Democrat Party, all white people, all of them liberal Karens and mostly emasculated men. Even old Mark Kelly, Navy, former CIA.
Political Commentator
Officer, former Navy, former paratrooper and Army.
Rob Carson
Ranger, former intelligence officer, former Air Force. We want to speak directly to members.
Thane Rosenbaum
Of the military and the intelligence community.
Political Commentator
Who take risks each day to keep Americans safe.
Judge Jeanine
We know you are under enormous stress.
Rob Carson
And we know that when Joe Biden was a president, we wokeified the military and drove recruiting into the toilet and pressure.
Thane Rosenbaum
Right now, Americans trust their military, but.
Political Commentator
That trust is at risk.
Thane Rosenbaum
This administration is pitting our uniform military.
Rob Carson
And intelligence community professionals against American citizens like us. Not at all.
Thane Rosenbaum
You all swore an oath to protect.
Rob Carson
And defend this Constitution.
Political Commentator
Right now, the threats to our Constitution aren't just coming from abroad, but from right here at home.
Rob Carson
Now, the laws are clear. You can refuse illegal orders. You can refuse illegal orders.
Thane Rosenbaum
You must refuse illegal orders.
Judge Jeanine
No one has to carry out orders that violate the law or are Constitution.
Political Commentator
We know this is hard and that.
Thane Rosenbaum
It'S a difficult time to be a public servant.
Rob Carson
But whether you're serving in the CIA, the army or Navy, the Air Force.
Political Commentator
Your vigilance is critical.
Rob Carson
And know that we have your back.
Judge Jeanine
Because now more than ever, the American people need you.
Rob Carson
We need you to stand up for.
Thane Rosenbaum
Our laws, our Constitution and who we are as Americans.
Rob Carson
So this is the latest attack of Democrats who've lost on every other front. They're telling military and CIA to disobey their orders and then saying they have their back. How many military members you suppose are going to take that are going to disobey orders and then think that these jackasses are going to have their back? This is the closest thing to insurrection we've seen in a very long time. And we've got some reaction on the other side of the break. First of all, nobody's going to do it because the military loves Donald Trump and Pete Hegseth and, and nobody's going to disobey orders, especially when they haven't been exactly. They've been pretty vague about what's considered illegal. We'll get to all of this in the next hour of the radio program. Our number two right ahead. Don't go anywhere.
