We saw the, the traveling astronauts traveling to the far side of the moon for the first time in, in world history. And it was America who did it. It was America who did, wasn't. It wasn't astronauts saying that the Dear Leader took them to the opposite side of the moon. It wasn't them thanking the party for the, the trip to the opposite side of the moon. It was thanking God. It was pretty amazing. And then two pilots were shot down over Iran and they were rescued miraculously, even though the story was leaked by a journalist. And there was the possibility that they were going to find the second aviator and hold them hostage, murder, torture them, whatever. Here is Donald Trump talking about.

Dear Lord, please. This is Bradley Cooper talking about the Mantra of the United States, of the United States. Because our soldiers aren't just expendable in other countries. They may be in Iran. The population is expendable. They want them. They're going to force students to go out and stand on bridges and around energy facilities so they won't get bombed. That's Iran. US. The Democrats are convinced. I don't know and I've not been able to find out a reason why other than it's midterms and generally the party in power loses congressional seats. That's the only reason they think that they could win. They have no ideas. They have no positivity. They have no patriotism. They spent the last decade tearing down America, tearing down American statues, saying that the founders were slaveholders, that we should be ashamed of America, all of it. That's your Democrat Party. Why would you vote for it?

Just take a look at this net favorability party ahead at this point. Midterm years with the GOP president. In 2018, Dems were up by 12 and 2006 on net favorability. Which party, like more Dems were hit by 18. Republicans are actually ahead on that favorability at this point by five points. So Democrats are just simply put, running behind their previous.

And now we know, And I said that the, you know, I said that the left exposes its flanks so we can kick its ass. And look what we've exposed. Look what the election of Donald Trump has exposed. $2 trillion, possibly a year in fraud. They have looted our treasury. They have looted our treasury, every single bit of it. You and I have been working our rear ends up, some of us working two or three jobs just trying to keep up. Just trying to keep up. And there are people who have made themselves rich by lying about being a hospice care provider or owning a daycare or providing home health care for an elderly relative. So evil and so wrong. And we're A benevolent and wonderful people. But we've reached our end on this nonsense. We've reached our end. Rob Schmidt last night was talking about California because Gavin Newsom is never going to be the, the President of the United States. And by the way, Eric Swalwell is going to be gone soon from the governor's race. A lot of women are coming forward saying that he, he has a pattern of sexual harassment and abuse, that he's actually bragged about it. There have been interviews where he's talked about, people have heard him talking about how he, you know, he likes to, he likes to get a lot of, you know, you know, that and all that. And now a group of young women, even interns, have said, oh yeah, he's an animal. So there's that. But Rob Schmidt last night was talking about the state of California. One of the things that California is doing now that we've uncovered about $280 billion in fraud under Gavin Newsom. Overall half a trillion dollars of fraud from the state of California. They're going to lower the penalties for those who commit fraud.

It's obvious the Democrat party, a lot of Republicans, but mostly Democrats are a very massive laundry money laundering machine.

So as the release says here, we obtain the 207 pages of those FBI records that and the headline is they were concerned that there was no probable cause to raid the home of President Trump at Mar A Lago. I'll say it one more time, no probable cause. That means there was no good faith reason to raid his home. And nonetheless, the Biden gang at the Justice Department, with the acquiescence obviously of FBI leadership in the end, because that's the way it technically or practically has to work, raided his home in an unprecedented fashion. And the abuses have reverberated through our national consciousness since then.

It was the first time that the FBI had raided a president's residence after he left office. They planted folders that said, Tom, top secret in all of this and laid out the, the stuff they chased out all of the, the people in Mar a Lago. They asked that the cameras be turned off. It was clearly a use and abuse of the, of the, the law enforcement on the, on the federal level. Joining us to talk about this and so much more is Doug Burns, former federal prosecutor. Oh, yeah. No, it's incredible. I mean, let's see what happens tonight. Well, yeah, the dark side of the moon on the space thing. Absolutely. For our country, but I thought you meant the dark side in terms of the, you know, Iran situation. Just really quick, you know, it'll be very interesting to see what happens later today and tonight.

Well, I think that this is a president who means what he says, says what he means, does what he says he's going to do. I think that's fairly obvious at this point. Don't you believe it.

There's no question about it. And also, I want to make a huge, repeat, huge legal point once again. And we've seen this movie over and over and over. Everybody just jumps in with their little Rorschach test and they say, you know, these are war crimes. So let me just very quickly unpack that. If the facilities that are being targeted and struck are used for a military purpose by the enemy, then they can be struck. That's number one. 10 times more important and 10 times more if they are of a dual use. In other words, they're used for civilian purposes and also for military, they can be struck. So again, I just wish everybody would stop with their immediate armchair conclusory, you know, legal conclusions and at least try to learn what the law is. I mean, that's what the law is. And by the way, bridges, as you well know better than anybody, bridges have always historically been hit in military operations. So again, we'll see what happens. My prediction crystal ball is I don't think you'll see this annihilation tonight. I think ultimately they will blink. But we'll see.

We'll see. We shall see. I think they're foolish. I think they are. Their pride and hubris will lead to their undoing. It already has, Doug. And I believe this is bigger than military. I've said this over and over again. I think this is a battle of good and evil I think we're seeing. We are the reaction to the action of evil that is spread through the world, and we've got to evil back on its heels. That said, said, let's return to this story about the FBI field agents saying they did not believe probable cause existed to search Mar? A Lago, urging the Justice Department to cooperate with Trump's attorney instead of insisting on the raid. They did it anyway.

Well, first of all, Federal Prosecutorial Conduct 101, 2 and 3, real quick, is that if you're deciding to try to obtain evidence, okay, the point is, you discuss whether or not a search warrant is necessary as opposed to a subpoena. And, you know, good, strong, conscientious, ethical DOJ lawyers will say, well, wait a minute. This is the former President of the United States of America, okay? His abode, his residence is guarded by the United states Secret Service 24 hours a day. I see no reason, absolutely no reason zero, why we wouldn't simply issue a subpoena. There's no chance this stuff's going to be destroyed, moved, or compromised, because you

Doug, I said it before. Yeah, that's a good point, too, Sure. I mean, they took photographs of the stuff stacked up the way they wanted it. That was ridiculous. But the fact of the matter is, I told you the anecdote, and I'll tell it again for your audience. I spoke to a friend of mine who had served that associate Deputy AG that's just, you know, the Assistant to the Deputy Attorney General of the United States. And I said, hey, let's assume a couple of FBI agents walked in to see the dag, the Deputy Attorney General, and they said they wanted to execute a search warrant in kennebunkport at George H.W. bush's house. What would have happened? He said, and I quote, get the F out of my office.

That's a direct quote. So the point is, you know, and the other related anecdote is my wife tells me that her sister said that Mar? A Lago was just raided with a search warrant. I would have bet my life, I know that's dramatic, that that was incorrect information, because I said to myself, amelia, there's no way that the FBI would do a search warrant. You know, again, against that backdrop of the subpoena thing, even if you were looking for evidence, there's no way you would do a search warrant. So, I mean, you know, melodramatically, let me say that was the most outrageous law enforcement I've ever Seen in my

life this on the heels of the report that came in that there was no Russia collusion in December of 2015, and Donald Trump saying, well, then write a report that says there was. And they carried that through the first couple of years of the Trump administration. It led to an almost immediate impeachment of the President. My God, Doug, what the hell? What the hell happened?

Yeah. 10 times more troubling, seriously, 10 times more troubling is the fact that you have people to this day walking around, intelligent people, saying, oh, you know, that search warrant was completely warranted. I mean, the delusion got to such a level that, you know, but my cousin put it really well. He's a graduate of Harvard Law, but he never practiced law to his credit. You know, he did other things, like a renaissance man, just like his dad, my mother's late brother. But the point is, he said, douglas, when anger and emotion, and I've told you this before, Rob, when anger and emotion start overriding reason and logic, this is what you get. You get people. I mean, I went out seriously to launch, I think I might have mentioned this to you, 40 year veteran, DOJ friend of mine, this and that, and he starts right in with the msnow ICE talking points. ICE is terrible. ICE is horrible. I looked at him across the table. I said, you gotta be kidding me. With your background, first of all, all you're doing is regurgitating what you're hearing in media. You don't know. I mean, are you crazy? We worked with federal agents for 20 years. It was just breathtaking. I couldn't believe it.

Let me ask you this about Pam Bondi being relieved of her position. Who would you like to see in there? And what did you think of her? I mean, she obviously did a lot. They got the seven of the ten most wanted. They have the lowest murder rate in history. Child sex traffickers. All of this. What do you suppose led to her relief? And what do you want to see from whoever is replaced?
Doug Burns
Well, you have the legal and the political as always, so legally, and I was glad that some of this permeated through most recently you a minute ago, which is she did a lot of good things. Murder rates way, way down. Other major accomplishments, the border, all good. But politically, the problem was that when she said she had this Epstein list, again, everybody can make a mistake and say something they shouldn't say. But that was real whopper because then the media just became hysterical that you see that there are these wealthy, important people who they pimped out underage girls, too.

And also we need to see people hauled away in handcuffs. Yeah, we need some arrest, Doug. That's it.
Doug Burns
So she did poorly there. And then the other part, which you can debate back and forth whether it's proper and so on, is I know how you feel about it. We've been over this many times. But going after the people who completely abused the system against him, and that's Comey Letitia James, and I don't blame him for being extremely upset that she was not able to do it. And I drew the football coach analogy, which is, you know, to all the pundits, every single one of you guys who say that wasn't her fault, it doesn't matter. When the team loses, the coach faces firing.

I believe sanctuary cities is not lawful. I don't, I don't think they're able to do that. And so we're going to take a hard look at this. Just one area we may take a hard look at is some of these, some of these cities have international airports. If they're a sanctuary city, should they really be processing customs into, into their city? I mean, seriously, if they're a sanctuary city and they're receiving international flights and we're asking them to partner with us at the airport, but once they walk out of the airport, they're not going to enforce immigration policy. Maybe we need to have a really hard look at that because we need to focus on cities that want to work with us.

So you're saying that big cities that are sanctuary cities that have a big airport, they might lose their customs?
Mark Wade Mullen
Well, I'm saying we're going to have to start prioritizing things at some point right now. Remember, the Democrats are wanting to defund customs, Border patrol. Well, who, who processes those individuals and they walk off the plane. And so I'm going to have to be forced to make hard decisions. Who's willing to work with us and partner with us?

Once again, it's kind of interesting, Mark Wade Mullen, new DHS director, talking about, you know, if you're going to be a sanctuary city, how can you have an international airport hub in your city? Doug Burns, this, this kind of, I'm kind of trying to wrap my head around this. What can DHS do To. To force these cities to change their policies.
Doug Burns
Well, there's a huge legal distinction here. So in other words, as terrible and horrible as it is, when you have, you know, mayors and this and that, you know, local governments saying they're going to operate, you know, in some type of sanctuary fashion, this is 10 times worse, Rob, because if you're talking about an international port of call now, that's clearly, you know, a matter of federal law enforcement, federal immigration. I mean, U.S. customs and Border Protection, CBP agents, they operate at more than 300 ports of entry, including international airports. Okay. And so, you know, he's saying that he may very well take a look at removing them from these airports if they're going to openly say they're not going to assist. I mean, again, not to be a broken record, but absolutely huge distinction in the sense that you cannot, repeat, cannot have sanctuary concepts at an international port of call where United States Customs and Border Patrol and Immigration. Immigration and Customs Enforcement have jurisdiction. So this is running off the rails. Glad to see him say it. I'm not so sure practically what he's going to be able to do. I got to think that one over a little more.

Well, yeah, I got to think about the implications of it, because there has to be some sort of monitoring of these international airports. And if. If TSA or DHS is not involved, does that allow wholesale entry into the country from anybody?
Doug Burns
I don't know that that's the question. But again, my. My positive answer is that even if you were to pull personnel and stuff, I mean, I can. You'll still have, you know, decent enforcement.
Rob Carson
But what about shutting down international flights?
Doug Burns
Yeah, very possible.

That would be. That would be.

Fly into a sanctuary airport. You know, an airport that's in a sanctuary jurisdiction. The flight is canceled. I mean, that's. That's sort of what they're getting at. Which is.

Yeah. The main Supreme Court struck down an expansion of ranked choice voting to general elections as unconstitutional. A win for the Maine gop, a huge victory. Ranked choice voting. What the hell? Who decided ranked choice voting was appropriate or legal?

Yeah, Ranked choice voting is ridiculous. And frankly, I've struggled to really understand it. And all you. Miller.
Rob Carson
I know.

So the point is, you have. Have three candidates. We do a real fast hypothetical, and instead of voting for my candidate, I rank them 1, 2, 3. And if. No, if nobody gets 50. If somebody gets 50%, they win. Okay, keep it simple. If nobody gets 50. And here's the part I don't understand. They literally Take like your second choice and move it up. It's ridiculous. But the point is for the legal buffs in your vast audience, you know, this was interesting because it was an advisory opinion. So hear me out real quick. The main concern constitution allows you to consult the main courts for advisory opinions. We all learned in high school social studies big time. There's no advisory opinions in the U.S. federal courts because the U.S. constitution demands an actual case or controversy. So that was interesting. And they issued an opinion saying that the main constitution, you find this interesting, says that the governor and the state legislator slots can be won by a plurality of votes. Votes doesn't have to be a majority and that the rank choice thing conflicts with it. And it's no good that that's what I'm glad they did.
