Show in America on air and on the World Wide web.
Rob Carson
This is the Rob Carson Show. This is the Rob Carson show. Hour number three. The 5 November, one year ago, Donald Trump won an election, won both houses of Congress, won the popular vote, won the electoral college, won all the battleground states because they put up a crab sandwich named Kamala Harris. I predicted as soon as she became the candidate and you Democrats were forced to vote for her and I guess you were fine with it. You're like no kings. But we're fine if you just appoint somebody as our candidate. And she of course was a candidate for 107 days, spent 1.5 to $2 billion and then got her butt completely handed to her. Right now she's doing a book tour and it's laughable. And there is a spiritual and patriotic awakening in America. I know that many of you are concerned about what happened in New York City yesterday. New York City, I understand. I get it. But here's something kind of interesting. Did you know in Minneapolis the opposite happened? You didn't know that, did you? Remember that guy from Captain Phillips who was running up there for mayor? Remember the radical left wing Somali who was waving his Somali flag and everything out there in Minneapolis? He got his rear end handed to him in the mayoral election yesterday. Yeah. Left wing Democrat who vowed to protect illegal aliens from Donald Trump's deportation raids. Lost. Lost to Jacob Fry. Who is the, who is the, what's his name? The ex prime minister of. Anyway, he's dating Katy Perry. I'm drawing a blank on the name. Brian, help me out here. Anyway, Minnesota State Senator Fatah vowed to keep fighting as he accepted defeat in, in, in a statement on X. Thank you, Minneapolis. While this wasn't the outcome we wanted, I am incredibly grateful to every person who supported our grassroots campaign. I'll keep fighting alongside you as we build as a city we deserve Onward. Fifteen people were vying for the position of Minneapolis mayor, which was clinched by Jacob Fry, who, who is, you know, kind of a fop. He's kind of like a little bit like Gavin Newsom, I guess, to some degree. And he was running kind of a center compared to this guy. So there, there you go. So if, if Zoran Mandami's victory was so resonating across the country, then why didn't this guy win? Because this guy's the same guy. This guy's the same guy. Except for Somalia in Minneapolis. And Minneapolis is way far gone, by the way. In case you didn't know. Minneapolis is just off the deep end. We saw Minneapolis burn. Justin Trudeau is the name that I was looking for. Brian, thanks for the help. Justin Trudeau. Omar Fatah was beaten by Jacob Fry. Jacob Fry is the Justin Trudeau of Minneapolis. That was the answer I was looking for. Thank you very much. So there you go. Fatah had drawn comparison with no Ran Mandami, a Democrat socialist who won on, on Tuesday in New York. And of course the reason why he won is they put $40 million behind him. They had an unbelievable ground game. They had a lot of ignoramuses, a lot of people who are new to the country, voting, bringing their politics from outside, and two absolutely crappy other people on the ballot, that's it. And one of them dropped out. So as far as this being a metaphor for this, this sweeping, you know, Marxism and, and communism sweeping across the country, of course we have to be concerned. Of course we have to be concerned. But as I said earlier, New York City, you're on your own, man. You're on your own. And, and I gotta tell you, you know that as I mentioned, that poll pre election about how many people know that New York is going to descend into hell, know that New York is going to descend into hell. Now you're going to have to put your money where Your mouth is. Now you're going to have to leave now. You're going to have to move out now. We have got as a country to show New York we're not going to help you. Donald Trump has already said not going to help you. He's already withholding federal dollars from New York as far as I'm concerned. Yang Yong man, tax your way out of this, bro. Tax your way out of it. Come on, open those grocery stores. Open those free grocery stores. Come on, give us those free buses. Come on, man, get on that right now. I would expect the buses got to be free next week. If Donald Trump was expected to, you know, decrease inflation on day one, by God, them buses better start next week. Them free groceries better roll next week. Come on, man. Come on. Take us to your socialist utopia. That has never worked anywhere else ever, ever. I look at it as a blessing. I really do. We expected it to happen. Now it did. They didn't learn anything from the 2024 election. All they have done since then is counter Donald Trump. They, they have cursed, they have murdered, they have burned, and they're continuing this nonsense. So at least now we know who we're up against. At least now we know the direction of this Democrat Party and we know who's but to kick. There you go. I was sitting on this yesterday. Actually, let me start with this. First of all, let me talk about Victor Davis Hanson was on my friend Tony Kennett last night. Tony Kennett did a great job broadcasting live on the Twitter. He works with the Daily Signal. He was talk Pennsylvania. And, and there's a guy there, you know, who is kind of a John Fetterman, who is kind of the voice of common sense for the Democrat Party, the direction the Democrat Party should go in. And I believe that most Democrats who love the country, and I think there are a few of you would support this man. However, you know, obviously there are a lot of leftists in charge, a lot of people who've been brainwashed by the Democrat Party with talking points, you know, calling us Marxist, white supremacists and all of that. Okay, I got it, I got it, I got it. But Fetterman has made a pivot and he's speaking commonsensically. And if the Democrat Party is going to survive, they would go in that direction. Here is Victor Davis Hanson talking with Tony Kenneth last night about Pennsylvania.
Victor Davis Hanson
It's in a period of transition, and I don't think people appreciate that. And that's reflected not just in one Republican senator, but you can see Fetterman understands that you're not going to be re elected or you're not going to be popular taking the traditional, not the traditional, but the new Democratic position. And you can see the whole state is starting to do what I reminds.
Carl Higby
Me a lot of Iowa.
Victor Davis Hanson
You know, 10 years ago and especially 20 years ago, Iowa was just a hard blue state. And now as we saw on election night, I think the last Des Moines funny poll said that Trump was going to lose by three points and he won by 12. So it's in a period of transition. So anything can happen in Pennsylvania.
Rob Carson
Again, like I said, I thought it was a blessing that the Democrat Party did not learn a thing from the keel hauling of Kamala Harris. And now they're looking at a victory in New York City in a place that is different from any other place in America. It is not Des Moines, it is not Poughkeepsie, it is not Cedar Rapids, it is not Salt Lake City. Not at all. Not one little bit. Yes, there are liberal bastions across America that exist, but look, Minneapolis didn't turn like New York City. But if the Democrat Party wants to go that way, I say go for it, man.
Victor Davis Hanson
Well, I think people are, you know, they're looking at this as a bellwether. But the fact is that most of these elections that are important are taking place in blue states, blue jurisdictions. New York City, New Jersey, Virginia's, it's sort of a purple state, but, you know, elected young. But mostly it's become because of federal employees in the north, a blue. So I'm not confident, but that it's a bellwether. But I think the Republicans will do as well as they ever have under these circumstances.
Rob Carson
Yeah. And listen, we've got a lot of work to do. Donald Trump has got a lot of things to do. Possibly consider the, the nuclear option on the filibuster to get things done because the Democrat Party, they're not here to play nicely. And as far as I'm concerned, gloves off. Gloves off. 100%. Gloves off, 100%. We pick up where we were the day before yesterday. We pick up where we were before. Here's John Stossel talking about socialism and Zoran Mandami is going to try and polish this turd and it's not going to work.
Economist
What he believes is what so many privileged young people believe. And these socialist ideas are just stupid.
Rob Carson
Socialism. Terrifying word.
Economist
Mamdani mocks those who fear socialism. He says democratic socialism just means the.
Jim Gossett
Commitment to dignity, a state that provides whatever is necessary.
Rob Carson
He speaks in Vagaries. And he is espousing something that has been done before and never works out like government grocery stores.
Economist
Compare your experience at your profit seeking grocery store to dysfunction at the dmv. Government services bring tedious bureaucracy.
Brianna Lyman
People say hours long waits have been greeting them at the doors.
Economist
I don't want my grocery store run like that.
Brianna Lyman
Shelves are empty at an east Kansas City grocery store that's gotten millions of dollars.
Rob Carson
Then of course, what does he say? He says he's going to just tax billionaires. Well, I got to tell you right now, I'll bet you $1,000 right now there are billionaires today have contacted their real estate agents, if they haven't already, about getting the hell out of New York City.
Brianna Lyman
Do you think that billionaires have a right to exist?
Jim Gossett
I don't think that we should have billionaires.
Economist
Mamdani says he'll fund his handouts by taxing the rich. But wealth taxes never bring in what's promised.
People don't work to pay taxes.
Economist Art Laffer famously pointed out that at a certain level, higher taxes stop bringing in more money because rich people work hard to escape high tax.
They'll change where they earn their income. They'll change how they earn their income. They'll change how much they earn when they receive the income. They'll change all of those things to minimize taxes.
Rob Carson
They will leave the United States.
Economist
This billionaire once told me that if New York's taxes go up, rich people will just leave.
You haven't left?
Rob Carson
I haven't left yet.
Economist
Are you going to leave?
Carl Higby
Big story if I leave?
Victor Davis Hanson
Yeah.
Rob Carson
And he ended up leaving, didn't he? He ended up leaving. So there you go. You got a big victory by a guy who was expected to win in New York City. And people are already saying they know exactly what's going to happen and so it's going to happen. We don't help New York City out. The positive is in Minneapolis where it could have happened. It did not. It did not. Minneapolis burned in the summer of 2020. This guy, Omer Fatah, he was there, man. He's the squad's candidate. He was waving his Somali flag and everything. And he ended up getting beaten by a guy who's been the mayor who ran as a moderate. There you go. Let's take a break and come back, shall we? This is the Rob Carson Show. Coming up, the bottom of the hour. Brianna Lyman, elections correspondent for the Federalist and conservative Gen Z firebrand. I can't wait to hear what she has to say about what Happened yesterday on election day. But I think we need some comedy from Jim Gossett about the downward spiral of nyc.
Jim Gossett
Start packing up soon. Start leaving today.
Rob Carson
Good luck with the communists.
Jim Gossett
Mom Donnie's gonna ruin it. New York, New York, the guy's a buffoon. Folks don't wanna stay. Destruction, he'll be doing it. New York, New York, it's failed everywhere. He didn't wake up and see that he's a threat. A massive tax hike. Hey, New York's gonna get.
Rob Carson
Yeah, but there won't be any tax base to pay for it.
Jim Gossett
All these Mom Donnie blues will drive people away. They'll make a brand new start of it in Iowa, outside New or Florida or Tennessee. So Ran is taking charge. The damage will be large. Feel bad for you. New York, New York.
Rob Carson
What are you gonna do? New York, your daughter, you know, brings up a boyfriend who's, you know, a jerk, you know, rides a motorcycle, is abusive and all that. There's nothing you can do about it. There's nothing you can do about it. You just got to go. Okay, well, I guess you're gonna have to learn. Gonna have to learn. There you go, New York. I mean, good luck with it. Honestly. Well, I'm not gonna help you out. I'm not gonna come to New York City. I'm not gonna. I want nothing to do with New York City while this Jack Weed is in charge. So, you know, I want to. I want to watch him face plant. There you go. Like. Like Rush said when Barack Obama was elected, I hope he fails. And he did. He did. Obamacare is a Charlie Foxtrot. He lost both houses of Congress right after James Carville said Democrats would be in charge for 40 years. And then Hillary Clinton, who should have been coronated, got beaten by Donald Trump. Then they had to rig an election in 2020 to get a puppet in to complete what Barack Obama wanted done. So there you go. There you go. And then what happened? Donald Trump came in, won both houses of Congress, won the popular vote, won the Electoral College, and won all of the battleground states. So there you go. Honestly, don't get too bent out of shape. I realize we are up against a lot of things here. And the Democrat Party, they die like movie vampires. But you pick yourself up, you brush yourself up, and you say. And you realize what we. What we saw yesterday. Blue states, I hate saying that, because they're red, because they're communist, but that's what we saw. No big surprises. A lot of hopeful, wishful thinking that maybe common sense would show through. But listen, did we think that common sense. I said 2024 had to be the election where we returned to common sense from nonsense. Did you support. Suppose we put it all out at once? No, no, they're going to be. It's like that, you know, it's like a forest fire not managed by Gavin Newsom because you know it'll flame up in places like New York. You know, that's. That's what happens. Like the Palisades fire. It's that time of year. Birch Gold gives away free gold with every qualifying purchase. That's right for Black Friday. When you convert an existing IRA or 401k into a tax sheltered IRA and gold, birch Gold will send free gold to your home for every $20,000 purchased. It's not really a purchase, it's an investment in gold. By the way, earlier this year, beginning of the year, $2,600 an ounce is how much gold was. Don't you wish you would have gotten in then because it went over $4,000 an ounce and it is there right now. Why? Global Uncertainty 2525 has been defined by trade wars. Central banks are buying up gold, pulling away from the dollar, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. So gold is on fuego, people. Gold thrives in times of uncertainty and when you need to diversify your savings, Birch Gold can help you. Plus now through November 30th, get free gold with every qualifying purchase. But you got to make this step. It's a simple step. I'll even hold your hand. Look, I'm doing it figuratively right now. Text my name, Rob. Now let go of my hand because you got to hold on to the phone and then you got to put in the numbers here. But anyway, text my name, Rob to 989-898 to claim your eligibility for free info. Kid on Gold, your opportunity for free gold with this purchase extends through November 30th. Don't wait. Text Rob to the number 989-898. For full details, here is Carl Higby. Carl Higby. He did such a nice job last night. Think I like about Carl Higby is he is. He's a unabashed conservative, a hero, a patriot, a soldier. And he speaks to the common man in a way that most can't. Here he is talking about the dependency of these little commie enclaves on us. And all we really need to do is say, screw you. We're not gonna do anything for you.
John Solomon
Over 83% of the population lives in those tiny Blue areas.
Rob Carson
Yeah.
John Solomon
You know what happens in those huge red areas? They produce most of the stuff that those blue areas consume. The food we eat is more than 90% produced in those red areas. For those grocery stores that ma' am Danny is promising everyone access to that, by the way, recently had to pay a higher tax to bring those goods into Manhattan, which made it more expensive. And when I say Democrats don't understand how the food is grown, like, it doesn't just show up on a shelf.
Rob Carson
When I was in college, I knew a kid from New York who thought you had to kill the cow to get the milk somewhere.
John Solomon
You need proof?
Rob Carson
I'm not kidding.
Brianna Lyman
Oh, my God, you guys. I just checked on my community garden slot, and I was so nervous because I was. I was.
Rob Carson
That was when AOC discovered that if you put seeds in dirt, they will actually sprout and create plants.
John Solomon
She had no idea AOC has discovered agriculture. But her own awe of a plant growing in dirt is shared by, like, 80% of most people in the cities.
Rob Carson
Sure.
John Solomon
Places like our home of New York or San Francisco and any of the major cities, sure, those are financ.
Rob Carson
They're helpless. They're like. They're like, you know, a bug, a beetle on its back in the middle of a highway. They're nothing without us.
John Solomon
That contribute the vast majority to our economic output. But their computers, their lights, their heating, their air conditioning on the trading floors are powered by electricity.
Rob Carson
They don't even know. Most of those things come from the oil that we get out of the ground.
John Solomon
Generated by power plants, predominantly in the red areas. The power with oil and coal and mined and drilled.
Rob Carson
Yeah. Like I said, New York City. You're on your own as far as New Jersey is concerned. Welcome to it. You've just voted for, you know, rates for utilities that are going to remain incredibly high if they stop at all from going through the ceiling. They're still investing in green nonsense. And your property taxes aren't going down anytime soon. Congratulations. Wallow in your misery. Wallow in your misery. Celebrate your little victory in your blue states. But we gotta fight against this spreading to the rest of the country. We stopped it in November, and I know we're gonna be able to do it again. Stay strong, stay positive, stay joyful and patriotic. Brianna Lyman Mix. Hey, guys, it's Carson. Forget fresh olive oil. I eat olive oil every day. I got rid of seed oils years ago. Life is too short to not have wonderful fresh olive oil. And I mean fresh olive oil packs the most flavor and healthy ingredients when it's fresh from the farm. And that's the problem with supermarket olive oils. They're not fresh. They could sit on the shelf for months growing stale. That's why I get my olive oil from small award winning farms thanks to a fellow named T.J. robinson, also known as the olive oil Hunter. When I tasted TJ Farm's fresh olive oils, I fell in love with their vibrant, grassy flavors. They were incredibly delicious on salad, veggies, pasta, meat, fish, you name it. And as an introduction to his fresh pressed Olive Oil Club, TJ is willing to send you a full size $39 bottle up one of the world's finest artisanal olive oils fresh from the new harvest for just $1 to help him cover shipping. Brianna Lyman
I hope Republicans learn how to win when Donald Trump isn't on the ballot. 2. I hope that Republicans in Kansas and Indiana Ohio take seriously redistricting after Prop 50 pass. And last but not least, I hope the odds guard of the GOP realizes that what happened in New York City tonight is in large part because they supported mass legal migration.
Rob Carson
There you go. That is Brianna Lyman last night talking on Fox News. We have, we are graced by her presence right now on the Newsmax hotline. She is a Alexis correspondent at the Federalist, Newsmax contributor among other things. And she joins us right now on the Newsmax hotline. Good morning, how are you? Or good afternoon, I should say, Rob.
Brianna Lyman
I'd be better if yesterday would have went better.
Rob Carson
I know, I know. But you know, I had to notice. We all knew what was going to happen in New York. We had a crap sandwich versus Zoran Mandami. We had a well funded, well planned four years, as many probably as seven or eight years in the planning to get Zoran Mandami elected. You had a the the dying throes of a political, no, the dead throes of a political dynasty in New York, the Cuomo family. They're done. You had Curtis Lewa, who lost by 40 points. This is not a surprise, but I was surprised and glad to see that Omar Fattah was defeated in Minneapolis by Jacob Fry. So if I could say anything positive about what happened yesterday, New York was A fait accompli, I guess. But it didn't happen in Minneapolis. I'd love to know your thoughts.
Brianna Lyman
Yeah, I think with Minneapolis, it's not like Jacob Fry is necessarily a good candidate. I mean, he's almost just as radical as Omar Fateh. You know, sides are, you know, two wings of the same bird, unfortunately. That being said, I think yesterday was in fact just a really bad day for Republicans. They don't know how to win when Donald Trump is on the ballot. They don't know how to turn out low propensity voters. That is the biggest issue that Republicans have. It's not that we don't have the math. We have the math. We don't know how to get people out.
Rob Carson
Yeah, I agree. I live, I just moved to Virginia. I was very, very disappointed in Virginia. I know some people. I got to know John Reed running for lieuten government. He was out busting his butt around the state the entire year. The last year, his opponent was funded by the same groups that funded Zoran Mandami's rise. She did no debates whatsoever. And so he wasn't able to afford some of the advertising. And then, of course, you put that in combination with government shutdown and downsizing of the federal government and allowed into Fairfax county and a bad governor gubernatorial candidate. You know, I think we were hoping against hope that places like Virginia would experience the same sort of wave that we saw last November. But that didn't happen, did it?
Brianna Lyman
Not only does that not happen, but Virginia, I mean, was definitely the worst of all the races because the House of Delegates was just brutal. Right. Democrats picking up what, 13 seats and have 64 seats out of 100. And what that means for Virginia and for the country is they're going to redistrict. They had their efforts, efforts stalled this past week, but now with a majority like that, there's no reason why they wouldn't redistrict. Which means Republicans in Indiana, Kansas, Ohio, get to work.
Rob Carson
Yes. Yeah, we've really got to. And I think Donald Trump said it this morning on Truth. Basically, let's roll. Let's get this going here. We got a lot of work to do in the next year. What would you recommend as far as Republican ground game as far as a plan before the midterm terms? What do we have to do?
Brianna Lyman
Brianna Lyman, first we got to get a grip on immigration. I think we saw across every single race. I saw videos from people interviewing people they didn't speak English, they're immigrants. Some people said, oh, I just became an Immigrant. I'm voting for Zohra Mamdani. When you import people from countries that are incapable of self governance when they don't come from small R Republicanism, how do you expect them to uphold our small R Republicanism and self governance? That is the biggest issue.
Rob Carson
Yeah. I also saw some troubling statistics. Most voters across sanctuary states, California, New York, New Jersey, want their state governments to continue not cooperating with ICE. And they also want to be sanctuary states. Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom's final budget allocated 348 million to law enforcement, while the state's own budget experts in October estimate the tab for giving health benefits for illegals at $10 billion. $10 billion. And did you hear interview the other day that that Elon Musk did with Joe Rogan concerning why states like California have used health care dollars from the Fed to essentially load up illegals with large. Yes. And, and allow them to vote? They are voting, aren't they?
Brianna Lyman
Well, even if they're not actually voting, we obviously know there are localities in the United States that have passed flaws that allow non citizens but legal residents to vote. New York City wanted to do that as well. That didn't go through. That doesn't mean they won't try again. Even if an illegal alien doesn't cast a single vote, which we know they do illegally. Right. They do it illegally, they get arrested. They are screwing us over via apportionment and the Electoral College. Right. They still impact how many congressional seats and electoral votes each state gets. So when blue states incentivize illegal aliens to come there, they're doing it for political gain. They know exactly what they're doing. So they are impacting our elections. It is serious.
Rob Carson
So what do you suppose. And I know that I hope and I believe that the federal government is going to continue to its forward march with getting illegals out of the country. I think that's a positive. But I mean that's. You're looking at 20 million people in the last four years brought in illegally. What else has to be done? What else does Donald Trump have to do with the levers of power, the departments, the dhs, the FBI and whatnot, to get a hold on the voting process and make it secure and make it fair?
Brianna Lyman
Well, for the voting process, it's up to Congress to pass the SAVE Act. The Republican House has passed it. We need the Senate to pass it. President Trump is calling obviously for the filibuster to be eliminated. And if it is eliminated, the SAVE act must be the first thing Republicans get through. It's very simple. It's documentary proof citizenship to register to vote. That is a basic common sense election integrity measure that we need to see. The other thing I'd say is we just need to ramp up deportation. We need to go pedal to the metal. Because in four years, any illegal alien, if a Republican loses, any illegal alien that was not supported will be made into a registered voter. Democrats have made it clear they want to give pathway to citizenship, pathway to amnesty, which always leads to citizenship, which leads to voting. That is the biggest vote.
Rob Carson
I was not sure I was on the fence on the filibuster for a while. Right now, we cannot play Marcus with Queensberry rules, rules with the Democrat Party. I think we need to get it done because they're going to do the same damn thing if they get back in office. And the only way to keep them from getting back into office is to do what you just suggested. And the only way we're going to pass anything is to do this, because the Democrats, if they can't pass a clean cr, the easiest thing in the world to do is pass a clean cr. And if they're not willing to participate in that, that, what the hell else are we going to get done the next three years? Brianna Lemon?
Brianna Lyman
Nothing. Nothing. Republicans have to act and govern like they want to win. Right now, they're not doing that. I don't know what that's going to take, whether it means getting rid of the filibuster or not. But they have three years, really. They have one year guaranteed of time to legislate and get things done. And this is the year to do it.
Rob Carson
The Democrat Party was polling at historically low levels before this election. Now they are leaning into communism and socialism. Do you suppose that will increase the popularity of the party? I don't.
Brianna Lyman
I do, actually.
Rob Carson
You do.
Brianna Lyman
Okay, I do. Left my organization data for progress. They found that among likely Democratic voters, 51% support people like AOC, Zoran and Sanders over typical Democrats like Hakeem Jeffries, Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi. So I think the younger base of the Democratic Party is more organized and they are more radical, and they are the new face of the party. So I don't think they're going to actually be scared off by this.
Rob Carson
Yeah, well, we've got a lot of things to get done before, well, the next year and then, of course, the next three years if we want anything accomplished. Brianna Lyman, as always, great to have you on the show. I really do appreciate your perspective. Where can people find all of Your great work.
Brianna Lyman
Yeah, thanks so much for having me. You can find me on Twitter rhiannaliman2 or Instagram Brianna Lyman or right at the Federal.
Rob Carson
All right, well, we pick ourselves up, we dust ourselves off and we begin the fight anew. I appreciate you, Brianna. Have a glorious day. Let's take a break and come back. This is the Rob Carson Show.
John Solomon
What we've got to do is deliver for the working people of this country who put the President in the White House, who put me in the Senate, who gave control of the Senate and the House to Republicans. If we don't deliver for these people. And this is what the President was saying, saying this morning, if we don't deliver for these people, we're going to see more Mandamis.
Rob Carson
Yeah. Yeah, we are going to see more Mandamis. I'm not panicked. I don't think it does any good for us to be panicked. I remember listening to rush Limbaugh for 30 years of my life, starting as a 23 year old guy right out of college when I started writing for him. And I would listen for him for words of comfort and for a perspective. It's taken me 30 plus years to get here. And I think that we've endured a great deal together. We incur setbacks. We haven't had such a setback as we did pre election since. I mean, we've had a lot of caterwauling and a lot of nonsense from the left, a lot of violence, a lot of, of no kings, Elon Musk, you know, every surviving media entity, of course, negative press about every single thing, including, of course, the redoing of the ballroom at the White House. And we've managed to allow the, the left to dominate the narrative, to convince people that the country is not doing well, that the economy is not doing well, while forgetting the hellscape that America had become. Joe Biden and I lived through it. You lived through it. We saw groceries increase 50%. We saw cars increase 50%. We saw houses double in price. And we've got to keep fighting. We've got to every day get up, be positive and patriotic. The momentum of the patriotism and the populist movement is happening around the world. It really is. But while it's happening around the world, we have to maintain it here. It's happened in places like Israel, Italy, it's coming to France, it's coming to England. But, but we face, you know, strong headwinds. You know, as far as New York City is concerned, not a big surprise what happened now, you know they're on their own. Let's, let's watch it just burn, honestly. We'll see how quickly it actually catches fire. This is. Oh, this is great. John Solomon was talking about what's going on in New York City already. Now, I want you to listen to this. John Solomon is somebody that if the Democrat Party hadn't gone after free speech, hadn't declared what we say, disinformation and misinformation hadn't stricken Donald Trump and a lot of us from all social media, John Solomon would be still working for probably, you know, CNN or something. But now he's a rock star. He's a rock star because people are hungry for the truth and consequently just the news has become a source of real truth and it reaches millions of people. Listen to John Solomon about what's happening.

In New York City today in very subtle ways. The extremists that he really is, that he tried to paint down a little bit in the last few weeks of the election. But I think the most important story for everybody to read today is up on JustTheNews.com it was written by my extraordinary copy colleague, Jerry Dunleavy, great investigative reporter. He got inside the DSA New York group, which is the group that Mamdani belonged to before he started to distance himself. And they had a meeting this weekend.
Rob Carson
That they had Democrat Socialists of America. And you'll recall last night during his speech, he said, I am a Democrat Socialist. That has nothing to do with the Democrat Party at all. Not a thing to do with the Democrat Party. They hate the Democrat Party. They want to see the Democrat Party disappear. They want to lean into communism.
Carl Higby
Know this allowed Jerry to attend and you can see what they talked about.
Rob Carson
He is not a Democrat.
Carl Higby
They are going to force the city of New York to divest from anything that is Jewish. They're going to stop.
Rob Carson
They are going to do the divest movement like has been done around the world with Israel. They're going to do it in New York City. This is anti Semitic, anti Semitism.
Carl Higby
The New York Police Department, from training and getting certain capabilities that they don't like. They're going to regulate land sales. You may not be able to sell your piece of land in the future to who you want. If the mayor doesn't like that, then there is a lot of other agendas that are all in there. They the purpose of this meeting was to make sure that the group that helped elect Mandami in the primary and last night will have a seat at the table and will pressure Mamdani until he delivers what he told them privately he would deliver. Deliver the wish list. Looks like something from a Soviet republic.
Rob Carson
Yeah.
Carl Higby
Not something from an American capitalist city like New York City. That is the Mamdani you're going to see from this point forward. Not that jovial, cool looking kid from New York that talked a good game. This is a guy that is beholden to the socialists who got him in office.
Rob Carson
Yes.
Carl Higby
And their values are very different from those that built the Big Apple.
Rob Carson
Yeah, this. You know after 911 we said we'd never forget. Well, some people forgot got. And the, the. And if you, you know, I'm, I'm old enough that I was in my early 30s. I was a new father when 911 happened. And I, and I remember talking about how radical Islam moves in and it takes decades. It takes decades and they move in and then their tentacles spread out and then they take over. Well, it's been two and a half decades. It's been two and a half decades. And last night he was, you know, he was as left of center as he could possibly be. During that address there attempt to mention any of the founders. He, he quoted the radical Islamists and communists in his speech. He quoted them. He made it very clear what he is going to do to New York. And what did I tell you? What did I tell you guys? I said that he's Islamist first and he would use the useful idiots the people in the LGBTQ RSTub community. And there was no other reason why a terrorist or unindicted co conspirators would glad hand someone who's so pro lgbtqia. And he tamped down his, you know, his rhetoric around Jews so we could get some Jews to vote for him. But he also did not say disarm Hamas. He also did not say that he was going to stop saying globalize the intifada. And guess what? Look what you got now. Exactly what I said was going to happen. Exactly what I was going to say happened. He is now in office. That is all that matters to him. And now he can unveil who he truly is. Let's take a break and come back. This is the Rob Carson Show.
John Solomon
Come on.
Economist
Chuck Schumer in a private meeting with other Democrats, Democrat senators said that if you'll just wait till after the election, I'll release the handcuffs. I added the handcuffs part, but basically I'm paraphrasing what he said. The reason why is because they're afraid their base wouldn't show up today in Virginia, New Jersey and in New York. So it's been about politics. It's never been about policy. It's been about holding.
Rob Carson
Yeah. They use the shutdown to motivate people in Virginia to vote for Democrats. Duh, duh. Combine that with a pretty weak gubernatorial candidate in Winsome Sears. I am. I will tell you, I believe her political career is effectively over. She may run for Congress. I don't know if she has the kind of support that she needs. I. I've never been a big fan of hers. I didn't, you know, when you, when you moved to a state and I had a bad feeling about this, I was slightly more optimistic with regard to Jason Miares as the AG and John Reed as the. As the Lieutenant governor. But, you know, when you've got a candidate who's running, who's supported by George Soros and has $8 million funneled into her campaign in the state of Virginia, which, by the way, you know, Donald Trump is cutting the federal workforce. And also a lot of people haven't received their paychecks for the last couple of weeks, and the Democrat Party used for that. So I say nuke the filibuster. I say take the gloves off. The Democrat Party has declared war on us. They've been waging a war on us for the last four years. They silenced our speech. They tried to take our president, put him in jail. They tried to take his fortune, they tried to take him off the ballot. They tried to kill him. They weaponized every. Every agency of the federal government against him and us. And as far as I'm concerned. Let's go. Let's go. Go. Now we know what we're up against. Now we know what we have to do. No more Marcus of Queensbury rules. No more standing in line. And like they used to do with the British army before the Minutemen showed him what guerrilla warfare was all about and ended up defeating the greatest army in the history of mankind. No more conventional ways of warfare. We have to do whatever we can. And you know what? We did it to get Donald Trump in office. Through all of it, we stuck together. And I promise you, every single day, I will come on. Trying to analyze what has happened and a way to win. And we are going to win. We have been awakened. We realize we already knew what we were up against, but now we have to realize things have to be done before the midterms to turn this ship around. Number one, nuke the filibuster. There you go, guys. Have a glorious day. God bless America as founded. God bless Donald Trump, and he continues to try to save the country. Nothing we can do about New York, people. I'll see you tomorrow. Don't catch the stupid.

This episode of The Rob Carson Show reacts to the immediate aftermath of pivotal elections in New York City, Minneapolis, and Virginia. Center stage is the election of Zoran Mamdani, a self-identified Democratic Socialist, in New York City—a win Rob Carson equates to a warning for the nation. Rob's signature mix of humor, satire, and candid commentary offers conservative listeners rallying points and provocative takes on strategies for the GOP, the Democrats’ trajectory, immigration, and the ripple effect of radical left policies. The show is punctuated by notable guest analysis, parody segments, and strong calls to political action.
Rob Carson on New York City’s fate (06:12):
“You’re on your own, man. Now you're going to have to put your money where your mouth is. Now you’re going to have to leave now. We’re not going to help you.”
Victor Davis Hanson on Pennsylvania (07:32):
“It’s in a period of transition… Fetterman understands that you’re not going to be re-elected or popular taking the new Democratic position.”
John Solomon on urban-rural dependencies (18:13):
“Over 83% of the population lives in those tiny Blue areas. The food we eat is more than 90% produced in those red areas.”
Brianna Lyman on immigration and voting (25:37):
“When you import people from countries that are incapable of self governance... how do you expect them to uphold our small R Republicanism... That is the biggest issue.”
Jim Gossett (satire, singing) (13:01):
“Mom Donnie’s gonna ruin it. New York, New York…”
Brianna Lyman on Democratic Party shifts (29:57):
“Data for Progress found that among likely Democratic voters, 51% support people like AOC, Zoran and Sanders over typical Democrats like Hakeem Jeffries, Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi. The younger base is more organized and more radical.”
Rob Carson, closing energizer (38:28):
“Nuke the filibuster. Take the gloves off. The Democrat Party has declared war on us… I promise you, every single day, I will come on, analyze what happened, and a way to win. And we are going to win.”
Rob Carson’s indictment of urban “blue” governance, his fierce support for aggressive GOP strategy, and warnings about complacency are crystal clear. The episode is a rally for conservatives who see November 2025’s results as both cautionary and energizing. Through humor, satire, and informed guests, “You’re On Your Own!” positions the latest elections as both a consequence and a challenge for America’s political future.
