In baseball, the Astros are back in action tonight. They're going to open up a weekend series with the Padres on the road. Renell Blanco will be on the mound for the Strobes going up against San Diego's Robbie Ray. First pitch is at 8:40 and you can listen to it on our sister Station Sports Talk 790. In soccer, Houston Dynamo FC is going to be back on the pitch tomorrow afternoon. They'll play the New England Revolution on the road. That'll kick off at 8, at 3:30 and you can watch on Apple TV. That is what's going on in sports.

And that's not what she says. What I'm hoping that you hear in the clip is it's not even her saying blowjay. It's her being absolutely mortified. So Carlos and the guys, at some point lunch or whatever. Get out your phone and pull up our website and go to links and guests because you got it. You have to watch the clip after she does it. And it talks about him writing the script for Rocky, bringing it to Hollywood. They're like, yeah, this is great. What do you want for it? Here's 20 grand. He goes, no, here's 30 grand. No, they're like, go Bigle back to him. They're like, well, we want Charles Bronson or somebody big to play Rocky right off offer him 200 grand. We'll, we'll buy this script. It's good. It's in there that your contract is assignable. The only reason why I know this, because I was assigned, meaning I was traded. My radio station. And you're going to know the players. It was in. It was my time in New Orleans. I was working. I went to New Orleans to work for Clear channel, which became iHeartRadio.

So when I came here, I went back to working for Clare Channel, and that's where, you know, there was a lot Going involved with that, with me coming back.

I, I thought I felt my contract was up. They didn't feel my contract was up. Okay, so. But yeah, I was traded before.

It's awful. It happened like that. Nobody on, nobody listening to the radio would know that. Nothing really sounded any different or whatever. I just had like this new horrible boss that just traded us so poor poorly. I'm telling you, he was the worst man on the planet. I really don't wish him to be breathing. I, I, I don't know. I've never said that about somebody. I never seen anybody treat their people so bad because, you know, he was just that he fired everybody but us and just wanted to get the clear it out. He just wanted to resell it, you know, you don't want to be traded. I can't imagine another job where you want to be traded.

I mean, yeah, probably, probably not, but like, if you were, say you were on like the Nationals. The Yankees got a guy from the Nationals. Their season's pretty much over, so they're like, would you like to possibly go to the playoffs and compete?

My, my principal pulled me in on a Friday to tell me that on Monday I was going to another school. Trade it. Maybe this is more common than I, that I, that I knew, I don't know because I thought my situation was kind of unique. But I, I know that it's happened to others in this, in this industry. But yeah, teachers. She got traded.

The NFL's preseason open opener was last night in Canton, Ohio. The Panthers got by the Cardinals 33 30. Carolina quarterback Haynes King ran the ball in for a game winning touchdown as time expired. Texans are gonna play their first preseason game on Thursday against the Chargers. Astros are back in action tonight. They're gonna open up a weekend series with the Padres in San Diego. Renell Blanco will be on the mound for the shows. Going up against the Padres. Robbie Ray first pitches at 8:40 and you can listen to it on our sister station Sports Talk 790. And and in soccer, Houston Dynamo FC is going to be on the pitch tomorrow afternoon. They'll play the New England Revolution on the road. That's going to kick off at 3:30 and you can watch it on Apple TV. That is what's going on in sports, guys.

Yeah. Now they're. Everything's on campus. They got married. Then they're going in. They're gonna have the party, and, you know, a few guests are out there. They didn't call a guy. There was a guy walking around that. They were like, hey, come here. That guy's always on the beaches.

You get paid, and they're about to carve into the cake. And that's when two guests came in. They quieted the room, and they said, hey, the ring has been found. Now your hero is the nerd with the metal detector guy.
