That means it will bring an end to the longest partial government shutdown in US History because Trump quickly signed the legislation. You remember it all started back February 14th when they couldn't agree to fund ICE and Border Patrol. And here we are today. Scattered showers, off and on all day long. Well, Rod, the House voted unanimously yesterday to pass a Senate bill funding most of the Department of Homeland Security. That means we are bringing it in to the longest partial government shutdown in US History after Trump signed the legislation. This all started back in February, February 14 actually, when they couldn't agree to continue to fund ice in Border Patrol. Also in the headlines today, Camp Mystic. You've probably seen the past two days, lots of testimony in front of state lawmakers. Families of the victims slammed the camp for negligence, lack of preparedness. Well, yesterday the owners of Camp mystic here in Texas say they're not going to reopen this summer after last year's deadly flooding. A total of 27 kids and counselors were killed. And the owner said they want to remove any doubt that they were turning a blind eye to the concerns of the victim's families. Would you ever travel to Mars? Now before you answer that, I have a couple rules. You have to exercise daily and you have to give up alcohol, intercourse, daily showers, morning coffee and fresh produce.

They are. A few days ago it's the European Space Agency launched a new experiment in Germany to study how humans cope in social isolation. Just to kind of experiment, just to kind of emulate parts of the potential future mission to Mars. So they have six people that signed up and are doing it. They voluntarily entered the sealed simulated space station and they're not going to to be able out until August. Conditions inside, highly controlled, obviously structured daily schedule of experiments. Yeah, it's a lot. They're exercising for an hour daily. That's definitely on there. You can only shower for five minutes twice a week.

And you got to work out every day though.

That song's about his dad in Vietnam called the Rooster. And as they're playing the song the Rooster, the Rooster is on the side of the stage watching them play the song. Holy moly. Oh my God. Meta. And maybe the biggest Buzzfest story of all time or memorable moment happened on this day 15 years ago in 2011, while we were all rocking out at a Buzzfest, President Obama announced that Osama bin Laden had been killed. We're all watching Jane's Addiction, okay? And Perry Farrell, at the end of a song, like, some guy runs out and talking in his ear monitor, he makes the announcement to Buzzfest that we killed Osama bin Laden. And the place went bananas. I got my information from Jane's Addiction. That night they delivered the news to us. Now that I just saw that that was 15 years ago in 2011, I believe, believe you got to give him the name Robert o', Neal, I think is the man that, with the kill shot one of the seals. So, yeah, Buzzfest. Perry Farrell announced to the crowd that we killed Osama bin Laden. And you didn't know how to react. He was like, yeah, that's awesome. So he did that. And then they continued to rock out.

Just a heads up in Washington, the House voted unanimously yesterday to pass a Senate bill funding the Department of Homeland Security. This brings an end to the longest partial government shutdown in U. S. History. Trump quickly signed the legislation. And we remember this all started back February 14th when they couldn't agree agree to fund ICE and Border Patrol. Here we are. You're also going to see Camp mystic in the headlines today. The past two days has been brutal testimony in front of state lawmakers. Families of the victims were slamming the camp for negligence, lack of Preparedness. And yesterday, before any ruling, the owners of Camp mystic here in Texas said they will not be reopening this summer after last year's deadly flooding. We remember a total of 27 kids and counselors were killed. And the owners say they want to remove any doubt that they were turning a blind eye to the concerns of the victim's families. Would you travel to Mars?

She's in, actually, yes, she does take weekly lessons. She's in three bands. She's in a house band that's a younger kid and a house band that's older kids. And then she's also in a no doubt 311 band. So she plays a lot of different music, man. She can play for two hours straight.

The other question is, and I'll let know you go, but my sister also, when I was young, believe it or not, Sue Ryan played the bass guitar.

And you know, that wasn't an instrument. Everybody wants to play guitar. And how did she pick the bass over a regular guitar, six string.
