Yeah. Because three US Navy destroyers came under attack yesterday from Iran. Missiles, drones, and small boats. It was trying to transit the Strait of Hormuz. None were actually hit, but American forces were like, no. So there were some self defense strikes. President Trump called the strikes. Just like a little love tap, you know that happens. But despite the active day, the Iran war moved closer to a formal resolution yesterday. And because of that, oil fell below $100 a barrel for the first time since before Project Freedom. So I'm starting to believe that talks are actually happening. All right, Rod, we know teachers are counting down the days till summer, but now they're also dealing with hackers. School districts and universities actually across the country are dealing with this cybersecurity breach. There's a program they use called Canvas Students. Teachers use it to access all of their online stuff, materials, courses, stuff like that. Right, I know. Katy isd, Houston ISD have been impacted. Baylor University had to postpone finals because of this outage.

Well, let's check on the straight Rod because three US Navy destroyers came under attack yesterday from Iranian missiles, drones, small boats, boats, they were trying to transit the Strait of Hormuz. None were hit, but American forces did respond with self defense strikes. Their quote, President Trump called the strikes just a love tap and said everything is fine.

that quote, just a love tap, unquote. There is still a ceasefire. Everyone still admits to that. And despite all of that activity, it does appear that we've moved closer to a formal resolution because as of yesterday, oil fell below $100 a barrel for the first time since before Project Freedom. All right, obviously another big headline is that cruise ship with the hantavirus. Okay, Health officials In at least 12 countries are monitoring people who left the cruise ship before everything was confirmed on board. Then we learned yesterday, we learned yesterday, Rod, that five US States, including Texas, are tracking former passengers. To be fair, these former passengers are not showing symptoms, but they are in close contact with the World Health Organization who is monitoring the situation. The ship is now sailing towards the Canary Islands where it's going to be allowed to anchor but not dock. Three people have died so far.

So there's this woman that kind of went viral and her, her TikTok is like, I can't do another pandemic. She's got like this whole rant on there okay. It's picking up some steam. We got to check on the straits because three US Navy destroyers came under attack yesterday. Iranian missiles, drones and small boats. The US ship was trying to transit the the Strait of Hormuz. None of them were hit, but American forces did respond with quote, self defense strikes. President Trump called those strikes just a love tap. But despite all of that activity, the Iran war did move closer to a formal resolution yesterday. And we know that's real because oil fell below $100 a barrel for the first time since before Project Freedom all started. Health officials in at least 12 countries are monitoring people who left that hantavirus stricken cruise before cases were confirmed on board. So we learned yesterday that five United States, including Texas are tracking former passengers. None of those people are showing symptoms, but the World Health Organization did confirm that their being watched.

So we called poison control for animals and they told us what to do. Sailor is fine. Right. But it got us thinking. If grapes are that bad for. Why are we drinking wine made of grapes all night long when we know that?

Very, very, very, very competitive with each other. But she wins this round.

I wasn't valedictorian, but yeah. And I. I don't teach them science and math, and I teach them the importance of knowledge and being a lifelong learner and just the importance of achieving things from an academic perspective and. And just how valuable that's going to be as they move throughout their lives, even beyond school. Just being a human. You need to learn something new every day and always be open to new ideas and be open to learning something fresh or different.

I say today's a big day for me. I Finally, after 10 years removed from high school, I'm getting my associates in communication studies from HCC Today. I walk the stage this afternoon.

I don't really talk about it a whole lot. I took a few years off when Covid happened and then just worked for a while while. Finally got back into some media classes a couple semesters ago. Turns out it's my passion, so. Well, I'm excited.

Turns out I too have an associate's degree in. I don't know what Are you good? What does your thing say? What is your paper gonna say today?

Associates of arts and Communication studies, I believe.
